I like it with a caveatI like this app, the interface is easy to understand, transactions and categories are easy to enter, and it's easy to see at a glance where you are for the month. Two things needed to make this a five star app for me. First, There is no way to ask a question or any contact information within the app itself. Second, there is no way to add a one time increase to a single category for a single month. Additional income will increase the overall budget, but there's no way to assign that single overage to a category, it just stays in the overall bucket..GgenpVersion: 2.4.1

Flexible, clever, and so helpful!I love this app. I appreciate the fact that it lets me run totally separate budgets for different income streams. Also, a HUGE plus is that I can export the data to a spreadsheet. Customizable categories are perfect, and I like that you can record transactions without setting a budget first - for example, when I started, I had no idea what I spent on groceries, so I didn't set a budget - I just recorded transactions. That gave me a good idea of how I was spending my money, and so in following months, I can budget according to actuals. Very cool! The reporting function is great to help you visualize where your money is going. Settings aren't 100% intuitive, but poking around will help you figure them out...And it's worth it!!!.AmyahllVersion: 2.4.1

It need helpI'll be honest with you the suffers OK but I feel it could be really improved upon and we sticking with it is because I've already have almost a year and a half and date already uploaded but if I could've found a better route to go I would've went with that because your instructions on how to do things are very vague for me so hopefully I in the future it'll be improved to to get into more to get into more detail of what I need to do thank you have a good one.Aldo220Version: 2.4.1

Just love this appYou have to get used to it because it’s not intuitive. You have to play around a little. But once you get the hang of it, it’s everything that I wanted. Pretty straightforward if you want to track spending!I've had another "budget" app that I liked but unfortunately they haven't updated for several yrs. I've tried several other apps but most are too involved, wanting you to balance etc. All I want is one that lets you set a budget, keep track of your spending & what areas it's spent! Just what I needed!The ability to create multiple budgets with ease makes this a 5 star app. Gave it 4 stars because I would like the option to display the name of my transaction and the amount instead of displaying the category of the transaction and the amount. Great So FarI haven't used this app long enough to reconcile at month end but for ease of setup and posting transactions its very good that's the basis of my 4 star rating. I've tried several budget apps and ended up being disappointed after continued use. I hope it'll achieve the 5 star ranking but time will tell. Wanted to love itI’ve been searching for a new budget app since the one I was using was no longer supported. This one looked like it might work and it came close. I like that it’s fairly simple (I don’t need to connect to bank account, etc.), easy to use, and I’m not limited to how many categories I can create. I didn’t like that all budgets have to be on the same cycle. On my previous app I could set some budgets weekly, some monthly, and some annually. My biggest issue is that I can’t add money back into a budget. For example if I make a purchase then return all or part, that money can’t be added back. The app allows an “income entry” which is in green like an addition but the amount is actually subtracted. Fortunately I checked the balance for accuracy. And why is the keyboard set up like a phone (1,2,3 at top) vs. calculator (1,2,3, at bottom). Seems a financial app should work like calculator..123456mrsnicVersion: 2.5

Eh…I love the other Apps by MH Riley, but this one doesn’t seem to function correctly. When I create a $150 grocery budget, I get some random transaction there and it doesn’t display the correct budget amount. Despite that I haven’t added any transactions or anything else. Useless .. No calc for DepositsWell for as much as I like this little app, I have no other option but to give it 2 stars. Before I discovered its handicap I'd have given it 5. There is no way to add a deposit to your account. I tried placing it in the 'income' section for the perspective account and it calculated it as an 'expense'. The Expense sections actually work quite well. I just downloaded this app like a week ago, so I'm sure most updates needed have already been done. That makes this a flaw ... a fatal flaw which has brought me to this certain conclusion. Since I can't add deposits to my accounts and have the balance increase instead of decrease then I need to move on and find another app. Hurts me, because I really do like th,but when both expense & income do nothing but decrease your balance something is amiss and it ain't me. This app has become a disasterSuddenly, not only are there duplicate transactions appearing, there are some duplicate budgets appearing. I feel as though I've wasted months entering data that I now need to completely redo. This is so frustrating! I have to check each and every transaction that I've entered over the past nine months. Misses the markIt seems like the good folks at the App Store are no longer checking basic functionality, before releasing an app for download. This app does not work. When you enter a budget amount, the app changes that number, seemingly at random, to a different number. Then it subtracts all the expenses against that wrong number. As a user there is no way to control what you want your budget amounts to be. The focus of this app seems to be giving the user the choice of icons for each line item, and which colour it will show up as on a bar graph.
