Cool, Boring, UnrewardingSo I’m gonna say this, it’s a cool concept kinda fun but super bare bones. Also good decision making isn’t rewarded. Pros: Fun concept. Real players real teams. Grinding for better players and XP. Cons: No purpose to play except for good record and max level. Good decision making isn’t rewarded. 4 straight plays on defense I made the right play call the defense had a 10% chance to covert (which is the lowest you can get)each time and they scored on 4th down and I lost. No way to upgrade your players besides the normal draft picks if you get the same card or by gear which you need 10 pieces of the same gear to equip which doesn’t happen that fast so it’s kinda pointless. I can’t equip a play I earned even tho I have open spots for that play to be put. So all in all it needs a lot of refining to be fun rn it’s definitely not a good game basically a C-tier game. NFL Card Collector MobileFirstly, if you’re expecting actual football gameplay this isn’t the game for you. You collect players and plays / cards, & choose plays which have varying success rates based off what your opponent chooses and the power of your players / plays. You get to see the plays acted out, but there is no user input. If you’re not into card collector mobile games, you’ll likely find this unenjoyable. Now for those who do like card collectors, after playing around a bit I do think there is potential. Gameplay doesn’t have much depth beyond collect cards / plays and out guess your opponent / the AI but it’s an interesting take on the genre and I love football. We will see how long this lasts and if they continue to flesh it out. Literally just WWE Supercard, but NFL.It’s basically the same as WWE Supercard, but with NFL now. It’s an okay game, but no one was asking for a card battler, especially from 2K. We just want an actual great game we can play, not watch the players do the plays for us. Heck Mobile could actually use better football games than Axis’ mobile offering and Madden Mobile since the latter’s models look horrendous. This game’s models are essentially plucked from either 2K5 or APF 2K8 and textured over with updated team textures. Fun Game, very clearly riggedThis game is really fun and I enjoy the aspect of collecting the cards and making the decisions. Seasons mode however is very clearly rigged, some games you will have every play go in your favor no matter what, then another game you will be given all plays that don’t get a first down on 4th down, or you will consistently get all pass plays and then the opponent will happen to pick pass or pass blitz defense every time resulting in you not getting the yardage when you aren’t even able to pick a run play. This game would be better if there was a run and a pass available on every down, as well as in 4th down situations all suggested plays will be guaranteed to have the potential for yardage needed. Percentage is dumbGame is okay if you can get past the fact that it is RNG based even with the odds are in your favor. Example if you have a 90% chance of the play being successful it seems like the game still favors the 10% of you being unsuccessful. I was unsuccessful every time i had a 80% or above success rate. it’s a very aggravating for me personally and makes the percentage concept really dumb and pointless. Good try, but falls shortHonestly, really cool idea, but at the end of the day, it’s just another mobile game. I honestly really like the idea of this game. I’m an NFL fan, but I love slay the spire, balatro, and other card games like that. Even Top Drive, that is also a mobile game with cards, but racing. So this game is actually a cool idea, and the idea is a lot of fun. The issue I have though, is that, every single thing feels scripted. It felt like no matter what I did, the end result was always decided before I chose what I was going to do. The animations actually look really good, and I do enjoy watching the plays, play out. I am personally a fan of management games, specifically sports management games, so this didn’t really kill it for me. I liked it. It felt like a very simple way to manage a game, watch it, and I do feel it’s accessible to anyone. I don’t really have any complaints in that area, as far as the “mechanics” of the game and animations Now, the HUGE issue. Before I even downloaded the game, I KNEW it would be just another mobile game. What I mean by that, is, at the end of the day, I would HAVE to spend money to make my team competitive enough, or to make my team how I wanted it to be. Every mobile game is like this. In the tutorial, they give a giant dose of false hop that this won’t be the case. The tutorial is always a bit longer, and you get the feeling that, hey, maybe this isn’t like MUT, or not like the other sports games on mobile! But guess what, it is. Every mobile game is exactly like this now. I’d LOVE a game like this if I could play casually, and not have to play for 50+ hours to get the things people spend $5 on. Most people don’t play mobile games like that. Most people have consoles. Mobile games are typically time killers. I’d happily pay $10 one time to have absolutely no micro transactions. So, 2k, the poor reviews you will receive are not because we don’t want a football game from you, it’s because WE DO WANT ONE FROM YOU, but not like this. We are just sick of having no good mobile, or even console/pc nfl games. We’re sick of pay to win mechanics, we are sick of spending $70 on new games just to pay even more money for players (if you play MUT). This game is a cool concept, it’s actually decently fun, a card game that involves football sounds fricken amazing but I despise MUT, and any games similar to it. Play to win.It’s a simulation of a game with preset graphics with two out comes. It’s more of a tap game. You don’t move player nor do you actually do anything. But kick a ball which is the only feeling of real football. Unless you wanna spend money to get a better team, only wanna tap to play a “game”. Percentages don’t matter I guessThe percentages don’t feel right at all. How can my opponent win more with less odds and I lose with the best odds. This has happened to almost every game I played. Why is the max 90%? Why can’t you just get a 100%? You already have to hope that your opponent didn’t counter you, it’s hard to get 100%… I think I’ve missed a 70% chance 5 times in a row last time I played, and I don’t want to hear anything about bad luck.
