Only if you can go live, it would be better than any other networkIf I could go live like everything else like TikTok or Facebook or Instagram, I would love this app more than anything but for right now it’s kind of limited, but I really love how better it is than Twitter or anything else. I love that you can post adult content I love that I can go on here and talk to friends or colleagues and it’s a lot better than other apps and I love that it’s not as limited I love that they let you have more freedom of speech than other networks. I love that they give JD Vance and Donald Trump a hard time. The only problem I don’t like about this app is you cannot go live like Instagram or TikTok once you can do that I think this app will be revolutionary. However, this app is a little limited with that. That’s what I missed about. Pipeline pipeline was a dream for people who loved marijuana and was able for you to do other things on there the only problem with it is that it didn’t succeed because you couldn’t go live you need to go live so other people can do things and be more creative like Instagram and Facebook and be able to do like templates with text and then add music and then add a lot of editing feature features the things that other people want instead of just making it like a Twitter Facebook let people do stories and do creative features and really listen to your users. I think it will be revolutionary and beat out all the social media platforms because I think I would use it a lot more if they have those features..Version: 1.124.0
Great AppThis app is an alternative to X/Twitter. It has a lot of the same features as X/Twitter with some minor differences. Mainly you can only post videos that are 60 seconds long. Anything longer you have to comment and add the rest. The block function actually blocks the user from seeing your posts. However, the algorithm on this app is not as fine tuned as X/Twitter. It needs some work. But many users on this app are friendly. You don’t have to worry so much about people just being mean to you just cuz you said something that seemed dumb to them. If you are nice, they will be nice. Don’t respond aggressively and you won’t have a problem. Keep in mind though that many users recently joined from X/Twitter. Many are still sore about their experiences there. You may come across users that are venting a lot about it or still have an account and are posting stuff that they see over there that is irking them. Just try to ignore it if you don’t like it. The Bluesky team is also struggling to keep up with Bluesky massive growth due to the X/Twitter exodus so try to be patient with them. The growth was unexpected and sudden for them..Version: 1.96.1
Curation is nonexistentDownloaded the app a bit ago after the recent changes to twitter and honestly it’s safe to say bluesky is a lot better. No ragebait or drama and everyone’s friendly with eachother. You don’t get bullied for just existing and people actually interact with your posts. The feed is full of wonderful artists and talented people too instead of just being based off who’s the most popular on the app. However Im not a fan of how difficult it is to make your feed match your tastes, even just a little bit. I know you can pin separate feeds to scroll through to see medias you enjoy but they’re often stale, and only show posts that include certain words which causes a lot of posts to go unseen due to not having those keywords. For example— I follow multiple jjba feeds and post almost exclusively about jjba, and most if not all of my mutuals post about it as well. yet in my time on the app ive only gotten two jjba related posts on my feed and neither of them involved any possible keywords. I understand the main feed is meant to be for discovering new people and making friends and whatnot, but I’d like to enjoy meeting new people who are from MY fandoms without having to join 20 different feed groups in order to meet them. It’s unfair that my feed is full of stuff like super mario and guilty gear but nothing that I actually enjoy. This is an issue for hundreds of people, please don’t ignore our complaints about this..Version: 1.92.1
Algorithm needs serious workI downloaded Bluesky a week or two ago, to join some friends that had begun using the app, and I must say, at base value, Bluesky is a functional app, that could absolutely some day serve as plenty of people’s main form of social media (though bookmarks and post drafts are a must for the future). That said, currently, the app’s algorithm fails in huge ways that X’s doesn’t. My feed on Bluesky, no matter what I try, is flooded with posts that don’t interest me whatsoever, and even more frequently, with posts that I actively am seeking to AVOID. For example, SO many posts on Bluesky are people talking up the app, and claiming that it is infinitely better than X. Frankly, I have no skin in that race, but it’s really hard to genuinely believe that Bluesky is superior, when HALF of my Bluesky feed is posts trying to prove that X is bad, meanwhile my X feed is still only content that I actually enjoy and care about. There is a “Show me less content like this” button on Bluesky, but I have clicked it, probably over 100 times at this point, and it has simply done nothing to help curate my feed. I plan to try to stick it out with Bluesky, but for now I will be using X much more. If Bluesky ever wants to get out of X’s shadow, it needs to ditch the little brother energy, and simply be a better app, but currently I unfortunately cannot say that it is..Version: 1.94
Really good alternative to Twitter but still has some glaring flawsFirst off I would like to say that this is a really good alternative Twitter and its awesome to see old communities that I used to follow on Twitter before I stopped using it on here now. The amount of tools thats at your disposal to curate your feed is awesome epsically the lists that lets you block a huge plethora of accounts you don't want to see or mark accounts that you would want to avoid. But one huge issue I have with Bluesky is that the Discovery tab prioritizes political posts instead of posts that relate to my interests. I've had to mute over two dozen different words, tags, accounts that constantly post about politics and even then my timeline still gets filled with political content. While I think its important to be informed with whats happening in the world, it has gotten to the point its been negatively impacting my mental health. Another issue that I've noticed in regards to feeds that you can follow, sometimes the filtering it uses to show posts that are suppose to fit the theme of the feed sometimes shows posts that are completely unrelated and only appear because they use same keywords that the feed uses to display posts on it. For example I follow a feed thats mainly for pictures of cute dogs and a good chunk of it has furry artwork, fetish content and straight up adult content that isn't marked as adult. I understand that these are growing pains for Bluesky but these issues have been making me use the app less. Still I do like Bluesky quite a lot it's just these issues have been really holding it back for me personally..Version: 1.98
Self Moderation and suspensionsWhile the idea of letting users able to self moderate is a great. Blocking accounts at a personal level would be better. The self made moderation lists are being used to target people. Self moderation lists should be private to that individual. What’s being done is a lot of accounts are mixing good accounts with bad accounts and being that thousands of accounts can be added it’s hard to establish that it’s being used appropriately. Blue Sky should do its own moderation and stop letting people target each other. On X I have over 130K accounts blocked. None are blocked by accident. When you use other peoples moderation lists you end up blocking by accident. The other thing I would suggest if you just decide to suspend an account it would seem fair to at least have a grace period of a warning and state what the warning was about. If you think people are going to know exactly everything on the TOS while it’s being updated then you’re not considering that we’re only human..Version: 1.99
Strong foundation, but needs a LOT of fine-tuningI got Bluesky after I stopped using twitter, and in comparison to current twitter, it is very good! However, there are still quite a few things holding Bluesky back from being as good as twitter was back in its peak. The bot prevention measures on Bluesky are quite lacking, and I get quite a lot of bots following me on a daily basis that are really obnoxious to have to block all the time. There is also no “remove follower” feature, so even if I block these bots, they still annoyingly warp my follower count and make it impossible for anyone to tell who’s actually following me! This feels like a very blatant oversight, and I really hope that the Bluesky team puts more effort into fixing the following spam problem! Other than my issues with moderation, I do actually enjoy the ability to make custom feeds and to pin or unpin feeds from my homepage. I’ve always hated “discover” feeds, so the ability to unpin that and replace it with “popular with friends” and “art: what’s hot” has been very nice!! I use those other feeds a lot and it’s very nice to be able to have so much customization be so accessible..Version: 1.96.1
So Much PotentialThis could be the perfect TWITTER (not “X”) replacement. App is designed/laid out similar, all the same features are slowly making their way to the app. Overall this is a great start for the devs. The only thing this app ***desperately needs*** are more people and accounts actively on the platform. The thing that’s been keeping me on TWITTER all this time was having the perfect blend between my news/trends, who i was following, what my friends were retweeting, & the recommended post all in my feed. Obviously since Elon took over, all of that was changed anyway. Right now the only posts i’m seeing in my BlueSky feed are politically based, even after actively trying to find other types of content. A lot of other celebrities, companies, brands, & meme accounts i like just aren’t on BlueSky. THAT is the only thing that needs to be improved if BlueSky has a chance to compete. Ironically, i saw an ad on TWITTER about BlueSky that initially got me to download it. If I recall correctly, the ad said the app had achieved over 10 million downloads in 3 days? After scrolling through the app recently, I get the feeling that a lot of those 10 million people flocked back to TWITTER, or some of that activity was botted. Regardless of what the complaints I have are, this is still a great foundation for a new *healthy* platform. Just don’t follow the same practices that you see these other companies doing and actively try to get people to switch to this platform..Version: 1.96.4
Way Better Than That Other AppAs much as I hate having lost all the content, followers, pages followed, and bookmarks from that other app, I was really tired of being bombarded with one-sided political ideologies that I wasn’t even subscribing to. For every page I blocked, another 10 would take their place and flood my feed. I’d lose interest quickly in my timeline as I was tired of trying to sift through all that just to find the content I actually follow. There was no opting out, and eventually, I just stopped using the app altogether. Bluesky is so much more user-friendly, and the algorithm in showing me content I’d like that I don’t yet follow is pretty spot-on. The only thing I wish I could do that that other app allowed was to make your profile private and to also be able to send pictures and videos in private messages. Aside from that, it’s a very well-developed and extremely useful networking app amongst other things..Version: 1.99
Videos not uploading some user experience issues but still a great app.It is hard to really say if the app sets the “tone” or the people that use it. Bluesky seems to answer that question I think a lot of people definitely can no longer tolerate X because of the level of toxicity and lack of moderation which is why I found myself on bluesky, but pass that even the timeline itself feels different and more refreshing/authentic. Is that because of the algorithm and the way it structured or the people that use it knowing what so many of us left behind was souring? so far it has been a much better experience. I only wish that some of the issues with uploading videos consistently were solved. I can make post but the videos themselves don’t upload and sending pictures in messages would always be a plus..Version: 1.94
Missing a lotWith this app emerging as a potential strong twitter competitor, there’s a lot to look forward to in terms of growth and how it’ll develop to differentiate itself from other platforms, which it does. A free API to encourage third party apps, customizable algorithm, etc. But for every new feature it brings to the table, there’s two features from other sites like Twitter/X that it lacks. Post notifications. Bookmarks. Post views. Drafts. 4k images/videos. Images in dm’s. Notif when someone likes a retweet. Polls. Private accounts. Instead of prioritizing features like these, what have the devs opted to add recently? instead of all the features listed above, their #1 focus was… making a tiktok knockoff that literally nobody uses. If the devs truly want to make this app sustainable, they’d push out these features as soon as possible to keep people on the platform, but they have completely ignored its userbase. Also, yall gotta stop shoving politics down everyone’s throats. It is impossible to avoid unless you mute every single keyword related to trump. It’s agitating..Version: 1.98
Revitalizes social media!I have not used almost any social media in years now. I found it to be draining and overall a miserable experience. Was watching Phillip DeFranco and saw he joined and decided to give it a chance and let me just say. Wow. This app is great! Everyone feels so much more engaging, interesting, and overall happy. It’s a platform where I’m not bogged down with bots, hate speech, and overall a depressing feed. The engagement is through the roof, which for a newer, smaller app blows my mind. I’ve never seen and connected with people, strangers even the way I have on this app. And I’m only a couple days in. I can get news again without it being the only thing I see. I can chat with strangers about games. Repost interesting IT content. I can like photos of cats, stars, and art. It truly is a phenomenal platform where I look forward to seeing what comes next..Version: 1.93
Superb direction for social media! This is what we needed; a social media app that doesn’t pander to billionaires’ whims, stockholders’ portfolios, or sell off your data to make you the product versus the customer. I’m sure Bluesky will have its growing pains, but it’s so refreshing to see a site that actually CARES about its users! Even the data privacy rights are given to the consumers. The conversations themselves are refreshing, the algorithms seem to cater to my interests very well without sending me into an echo chamber, and I’m given a broader view of content versus the competition. Folks, this is the way social media should be; SOCIAL. My only, tiniest of gripes is that it’s not yet fully compatible with iPad. The interface is the same as on the phone, and there are no “landscape” views. So, Bluesky, please, PLEASE update that feature! That said, I love the app, and more importantly I feel safer using it..Version: 1.96.1
Great App, Up and ComingI’ve found this to be a great alternative to Twitter (or what’s left of it anyways), as well as a good platform on its own. I love the inclusion of feeds, good tagging/filtering systems, and starter packs. It’s taken a bit of time to get my feed where I want it to be, but those features have been infinitely helpful in that. As an artist, feeds have been such a blessing to sort my posts into art and non-art media, as well as make it easy for others to view what is essentially a gallery of my work. The filtering/moderation on the app seems to work great as well, where you can choose to hide or warn of adult content and not have it jumpscare you on your feeds. It is missing some key features like bookmarking and saving drafts of posts, but I hope the team at Bluesky continues to work and add features because it is shaping up to be a great app!.Version: 1.98
Excellent app, butI believe this app will be successful. Why is it trying to stand out from the rest, even if it's similar to some other apps? I hope the developer understands the user's needs. First and foremost, you need to keep up with the latest developments in the world of social media. The app needs continuous improvement. I noticed it's slow to use. Why not add a glass effect? I hope it will be added soon to make the app more appealing. Why not dedicate marketing to the app and try to attract new users by offering them features not available before? There are many points I could mention, but in my opinion, BlueSky deserves a try. Don't rush to judge. I'd be happy to see competitors like this app. Good luck, my dear developer. I hope to meet you to thank you for your wonderful efforts. Thank you, and I wish you all the best, my friend.❤️🙏🏼.Version: 1.110.0
A Fresh, Fast, and Promising Social PlatformRating: ★★★★☆½ (4.6/5) I’ve been using the Bluesky app on iOS for several months, and it’s quickly become one of my favorite social media experiences. The interface is clean, modern, and refreshingly uncluttered compared to other platforms. Scrolling is smooth, images load quickly, and the app feels thoughtfully designed for conversation rather than chaos. One of Bluesky’s standout features is its focus on decentralization and user control over feeds. The ability to customize your timeline with different algorithms is a game changer, letting you tailor what you see rather than being at the mercy of one opaque formula. The community so far is friendly and engaged, which makes it feel more like the early, optimistic days of social media. That said, Bluesky still has room to grow. Features like advanced search, richer media tools, and better thread navigation would make the app even stronger. Some people might find the invite system limiting, though it does help keep the atmosphere more positive. Overall, Bluesky feels like a breath of fresh air in a crowded and noisy social landscape. It’s not perfect yet, but it’s already delivering a smooth, enjoyable experience with a lot of promise for the future. Pros: • Clean, fast, and ad-free interface • Customizable feeds • Friendly and engaged community Cons: • Missing a few quality-of-life features • Invite system may limit access for some Bottom line: If you’re looking for a social platform that puts users first, Bluesky is worth joining—and watching evolve. ⸻ If you’d like, I can also write you a shorter, snappier version optimized for the App Store review format..Version: 1.106
Desperately needs proper iPad supportI see there’s at least one review from nearly a year ago mentioning how poor the experience on the iPad is. The iPad is frequently used in landscape mode, especially if one has a keyboard for it, and the Bluesky app STILL cannot deal with landscape orientation. It zooms in too much, it crops the content if you rotate the iPad to portrait in an attempt to fix it, and now it’s not even repositioning the view correctly when doing that. I know Bluesky’s dealing with a rapid increase in its user base, I know they’ve put a lot of work into other features like safety and privacy which are highly important and much appreciated, but this experience is extremely frustrating and seems utterly unnecessary. The Twitter/X app correctly handles this, the Instagram app handles this, why can’t Bluesky? It’s clearly doable, and the app should’ve been designed to handle this correctly from the start, not still be an issue a year or more later..Version: 1.93
I’m rooting for this appLet’s be blunt. A lot of people want an app that serves as an alternative to The App That Shall Not Be Named. This grants Bluesky a very unique opportunity to go the distance. I hope they’re tapping into this new and bursting market and will capitalize as much as possible, because I really think it can succeed. I really, really want it to succeed. So here are some suggestions: 1. Please allow videos longer than 1 minute to be posted. That is what I mainly used The App That Shall Not Be Named for, and it is the number one hindrance to my full enjoyment of Bluesky as it is now. I believe 2 minutes and 20 seconds is the cap for the Other App. 2. Please allow for Bookmarks or a similar Saved Posts function. 3. The ability to SORT bookmarks is something the Other App didn’t have and would be an amazing bonus feature if added to Bluesky. 4. Please allow the option to thread posts before users press “post”. It’s nice to set up multiple posts in one go instead of posting, replying, replying, and replying in order to create a thread. 5. The function of privatizing accounts or posting to private circles was a neat feature on the Other App and would be cool to see implemented for Bluesky 6. Can we call posts Flutters? (Non-serious suggestion, but just throwing it out there) Of course development takes time and the new onslaught of users may very well create its own bottlenecks, so this isn’t a critical review. I just want to reiterate my enthusiasm for the app thus far, and I think the above recommendations will really make it soar. Thank you to Bluesky so much for making this app. It’s helpful to a lot of people, maybe more than what’s known.Version: 1.92.1
Is this really a beta?So full stop I’m not a tech person. Got invited to beta test bluesky off the waitlist. While there are occasional times the feed loading gets wonky- and I’ve experienced this a handful of times in the past week- it’s also very intuitive, and it evolves while you are using it. It has been hands down the coolest social site I have ever been a part of. Remember watching Star Trek? Or your first MySpace experience? When you were like-technology really can’t be that ‘human’. Scrolling through Bluesky is that kind of experience- where you feel connected to humanity. And yes- the users are pretty legit amazing. Being a beta tester I went in there without any connection or community- and was quickly embraced by so many. If you’re lucky enough to get an invite, don’t sit on it..Version: 1.25
Twitter had a child with TumblrThat’s my early impression. Probably need more time for the algorithm to meet my desires, as the politics feel hokey and the arts feel sparser than I would like. Definitely want more thoughtful political discourse interspersed with the beauty of the world and the arts. I was on X for a little while but the deregulation of it allowed for rampant racism and sexism which seemed to just be spiraling out of control with no end in sight. I decided it was time to leave after this, and this is off to a better start so far but only time will tell. I normally wouldn’t review this early but I feel it necessary given that this social network appears to be a target for review bombing by the same people who hate being held accountable for their egregious behavior and prefer X for that reason..Version: 1.94
Needs work on iPad screenI like blue sky social. It has a ups and downs, but it is a lot better than Twitter etc. so I really like it in my opinion it has more good than bad points. One thing that has to be fixed. On my computer screen, the blue sky page fill up screen like it supposed to Same with my iPhone . it fills up full screen like it’s supposed to I just got a new iPad and I download the app was going to be really happy with it, but the app only filled up about a third of the center of the screen the other to turn around it are black looks kind of funky When they fix it appears on the screen that’s the step up for them that would be great. Otherwise I would give them five star but for this, I’ll give them a four star but they are doing a great job..Version: 1.61
Great app, 100% the most positive social media appThis is a wonderful app for anyone who is getting sick of the negativity on social media. the communities here are positive, uplifting, and it’s a great platform for artists. High customizable, and it’s really easy to curate your feed and control what shows up. the block function works spectacularly. The one thing i think this platform is really lacking is a notification system. The ability to get notifications when others post. This is the biggest thing keeping me from using the platform as my #1 social (and the sole reason i haven’t deleted twitter yet). It’s very difficult to keep up with artists i follow when i can’t get notified when they post. Bluesky add this feature and my life is yours i’m so serious.Version: 1.99
So much better than *THAT* appHonestly I moved from twitter to bluesky a year ago and couldn’t switch because it wasn’t developed enough yet, but I switched back over to bluesky a few weeks ago and I absolutely LOVE the app now!!! you have discoverability if you use keywords, you get to curate the content you want to see through different tags, they added media/gif support, and they just added the option to make threaded posts before you post!! I’m just waiting on the feature to put posts in drafts and genuinely I think I’ll be able to fully say goodbye to the other app and move fully to this one!! and to the devs: y’all are doing AMAZING with this app and I want to thank you so SO much for everything so far!!.Version: 1.93
Bot problems and feed doesn’t always refreshGlad for a Twitter alternative- thank you!. The app is fairly functional and easy to use. I’ve had my account for over six months but didn’t use it much until the last six weeks or so when I finally deleted my Twitter acct. There are increasingly more and more bots/fake accounts following me- other than blocking there, doesn’t seem to be a way to remove them as followers all together. The other main issue I have is my feed doesn’t seem to refresh. I follow over 100 accounts, most being public figures who are generally pretty prolific on social media, however when I return to the app after, three or four hours, there are usually only a half a dozen new posts displayed, then the rest of my feed is the content I was looking at hours ago..Version: 1.96.1
A Few Suggestions/RecommendationsPersonally speaking, the app is essentially good and decently nice to work with in terms respectfully. However, sometimes in the discover feed it gives me things that I am not 100% wanting to physically see in general. Ruining a proportion of the experience itself as a whole. I wished there was a way to physically edit our posts to fix somethings when we post or to directly remove some interests without having to delete and recreate said account. Because then, it’d be just a waste of time specifically. It’s rarely worth mentioning but it would be probably necessary as some people are having issues with things in their discover feeds that aren't what they wanna see in those feeds. I barely see anything that interests me on the discover feed these days, all I see is some art here and there. But would essentially love to see more art too! Like original characters, fandoms, and even the ability to remove some interests to help fix the problems that plague my discover feed fully. I wish I could find the words to express how, but I physically don’t know what else to add into this other then suggest or recommend the idea so it can help other user experiences as well in the process as well..Version: 1.92.1
Minor problem with images of textHaving recently come to BlueSky as a longtime Twitter user, I found an irritating difference in how the two apps display text. In Twitter’s app, as the phone is rotated, the image rotates on the screen so that the top stays up. In BlueSky’s app, the orientation of the image is frozen on the screen. This makes it easier to read images of text in Twitter ‘s app, as rotating the device makes the text run from top to bottom (i.e., along the long dimension of the screen), which enlarges the font and makes the text easier to read. The lack of this feature makes it harder to read text images in BlueSky. Despite this minor problem, I still gave you a 5 (rounding up from 4.8)😊.Version: 1.94
Almost goodThis app has the potential of being a good platform, but it feels empty, and it’s missing a few key features that make a platform good. - Missing Video and GIF support. Without that simple component it is making the competition look a lot more appealing. No videos and no gifs means no life, it feels sterile - DMs. Being able to DM someone on this platform would make it great, it’s impossible to talk to anyone unless they have ANOTHER platform to talk on - A working Notification system. Half of the time I never know if I have notifications or not. I have to manually open the tab to see if I have any. Not only that but when I open it up and close the app, I can see that I have notifications, THAT I’VE ALREADY OPENED, so then I need to open up the app and manually click on the notifications to clear them. So much wasted time. And the notifications feel cluttered and messy, not a clean system. I have a feeling that adding just slightly more features, the quality of the platform will improve tenfold. Mainly the support for Video and GIFs, that would make the place a lot more appealing against its competitors. But for now, it’s easier to use anything else but this platform..Version: 1.70
Made my life betterFirstly I love being online, scrolling and watching to extreme amounts, but I could not continue to see the horrific content being forced into my ‘for you’ by twitter or be affiliated with its discriminatory hate, I used twitter for almost a decade happily, made two separate businesses and many friends from it, but I have never felt happier being simply gone from it. Bluesky is my alternative to any scrolling, its worst things are a small lack of features (polls is my biggest gripe, no private accounts also) and my discovery page loves millennial/facebook esc posts more than it should… but thats really it! I left twitter completely January and have used Bluesky basically everyday since then..Version: 1.101
Deliberate Social Media Use is BackIf you don’t like Bluesky as an alternative to whatever “social media” you came from, you don’t know how to take advantage of the feed curation. This is a great app for people who want to control their feed and see the things they want to see. For example, everyone complains about the politics but I haven’t seen one political post since joining since i know how to make my feed all about the music and TV shows and sports I like. It reminds me of the old internet, when you saw posts and blogs in chronological order rather than by whatever the bots push to popularity. It is such a relief to not be bogged down by algorithms, and the staff listens to users. Love you Bluesky!!.Version: 1.124.0
A breath of fresh airI’ve compared Bluesky less to X and more to Facebook. Over time Facebook kept reducing my options as an individual (and those as a business or organization) to focus on ads and algorithmically determined content outside of my control. At Bluesky the ownership of who can see my content and whose I want to see is with me again. From a business standpoint, Bluesky is what you wanted when you saw your reach on Facebook drop significantly and the only way to play was with ads. As an individual, Bluesky is so freeing. And people are innovating and building for it, which is one of the things I missed most about Twitter. Highly recommend, and keep up the good work, y’all..Version: 1.94
Good alternative to TwitterIt is an excellent platform, it’s slowly developing and growing better than twitter. However…their censorship team is overzealous and tends to falsely mark many posts without review, often moving to suspension far too quickly. Their mod team needs to be thorough in flagging accounts and posts. They need to avoid unnecessary removal of art. Many of my fellow artists have had innocuous art removed with accusations of p*dophilia or b*astiality and it’s genuinely ridiculous at this point. Please improve your mod team and review posts that get reported before you remove people and posts. (I have not personally experienced this, but as I said, I’ve witnessed many innocent and innocuous posts and accounts endure this process. It’s damaging to innocent people who are trying to flee the fascist Twitter environment).Version: 1.100
Remarkable, Truthful, Relevant and Beautiful!BlueSky is the future of beautiful, and relevant democratized social media experiences. I absolutely love the remarkable community. It’s a great app for engaging in diverse conversations, catching up on the latest news, pop culture, politics, religion, or following your favorite artists and discovering what video games are trending. BlueSky is a healthy, inclusive and fact based alternative to the toxicity, right-wing propaganda, homophobia, Islamophobia and misogynistic hive mind that Twitter (X) has devolved into under the shadow of Elon Musk. Jay Graber and Toni Schneider have created a decentralized platform where truth is not threatened by the censorship of Trump’s assault on democracy’s greatest strengths; truth, journalism and shared commonality. Love the app - but need an ipad versionSo much better than twitter - I highly recommend switching. Using this app on an ipad is a bit annoying as it switches to landscape randomly and you can't see what you were doing. Please fix that when you can!.Version: 1.93
Ipad mod pleaseI want to keep using this app. it’s been awhile since it came out and still no ipad support.Version: 1.92.1
A chill place to connect and post - better than what Twitter has becomeYou can have customized feeds so you’re not just hearing stuff you have no interest in - it’s like Twitter lists but feeds. Your algorithm is exactly that - what YOU want to see. You can turn off or on certain topics that you don’t want to hear about eg hate or sexual content. I like the invite code aspect - it holds the influx to a steady pace so the engineers and developers can handle the load. When Twitter went crazy due to imposed rate limits, a whole lot of people started posting on Bluesky, which slowed due to the load. There are only a handful of developers and mods and they worked overtime on the holiday weekend to stabilize and normalize the experience. They released two updates in the same day to accomplish this! Kudos to the developers. People waiting for codes just need to be patient. It’s like the old days when your friend would invite you to the party. No, it’s not celebrities - the load that comes with celebrity users is too high right now. The vast majority of people on there are average people who got invited by their friends..Version: 1.37
I-pad version, pretty please?🤞🤞🤞.Version: 1.93
The best twitter replacementTwitter not being safe for artists anymore really got me to leave. When i discovered Bluesky, i felt so much better. It was like finding an old game that was shut down for so long! This place is well moderated and it feels like a fresh start with no huge creator drama. To be honest, twitter lost me the day they renamed themselves "X", making it unrecognizable. Bluesky has the old twitter vibes and its perfect. THANK YOU SO MUCH BLUESKY 💚.Version: 1.50
No iPad VersionWorks well enough on iPhone, though there are semi-frequent problems updating, blank screens and odd behavior. No native iPad support is a real limitation..Version: 1.120.0
Missing iPad SupportOverall the app is great on the iPhone, fast, beautiful UI and easy to use. It’s lacking iPad support and hope to see this become available early in 2025.Version: 1.95
IPad support requiredIt’s absolutely required these days to have ipad and other tablets support...Version: 1.93
Please, please, please make a version for iPadI’m enjoying the app, but it really is a pain trying to use it on my iPad. I use the iPad almost exclusively in the horizontal, and the app is definitely not designed for that. The screen will suddenly get too big to view anything, or gets cut off on one side so it’s not readable. Once it’s fixed I’ll be spending a lot more time with it..Version: 1.93
I love this social network……But, I am really disappointed that there isn’t an iPad version of the app yet. Given how beloved BlueSky is, I’d think an iPad universal app would be easy to produce. Will edit this review to 5 stars when they put one out..Version: 1.122.0
Fun fun funIt’s like how Twitter used to be, but better..Version: 1.25
Need an iPad versionEspecially since the website version continues to be extremely buggy.Version: 1.121.0
Unable to post links to websites in all waysI love the app, but for some reason I can't post links to websites the way I want to. It used to be that I could post either a link by itself, or with context from me about and beside the link. That used to be possible, but now I can't do that anymore because of alt text and other stuff like that. I want to post links to my followers as part of a reply (when applicable), but I have noticed lately that I can't do that. Again, I want the freedom to post links any way and any how I want to and not just one way of them getting through to people. Some are from my blogs and I want to give them context so, hopefully you can take a look at this. Also, consider being able to edit posts if somebody makes a mistake with spelling, or wants to change a word or two. I've done that unintentionally using dictation and I have been made fun of, because of the wrong word getting through. For example: either traider, or traitor can be a bugaboo, when it comes to dictation and that was the word that got me in trouble, when replying to a post on a political page. Anyway, please look into both of my issues here because they are rather important when it comes to posting important information, as well as making sure every word is spelled correctly before posting..Version: 1.121.0
