It’s great but the story’s have the worst endingI don’t usually right review actually this is my first time writing a review. I watched love’s Prologue it ends with Harold divorcing Grace then the grandpa screams at him then Harold says he loves someone else Penny. ( Penny is Grace, Grace and Harold were in an arranged marriage and Harold never new who Grace was.) Penny aka Grace is his interior designer they start getting feeling and sleep with each other, Penny gets a guy to fake being her husband Harold get jealous. After Harold said he loves Penny, Penny then says she is Grace Regan his ex wife ( the one he just divorced) and walks off, so I don’t know if this was Penny plan all along to get Harold to divorce her and we don’t now if the have a happily ever after or not. Another won is Family love take me home where it just ends with Grace aka Zoe finger moving and that it we don’t know if she wakes up or if she end up living with the Lynn’s or if she forgives them. There many more stories with like cliff hangers type ending. And I am willing to pay for a better ending for love’s prologue they need a happy ever after for Felice to get in trouble or go to jail for what she did if Penny gets pregnant which I hope so. If the Regan’s get out of debt and what happened to Mr. Lane. ( I know it’s meant to be a short story but still all you had to do was add another episode where they find out she is pregnant and Harold and Penny gets married and live happily ever after I. Reach in the poorI love all the short stories, but I think that the timing of each section is too short. I don’t like the fact that when you buy to watch these little episodes, the commercial is longer than the episode. The episode seem like it’s only a minute and then it goes into a commercial and then the commercial is longer than the episode so I really feel like you’re paying for the commercial And when you buy them, you have to include the ads, which makes it take up more time when you watching the short story you only get a little clip of it and you get more commercial each time so I’m trying to understand when you buy the short stories, you also buying five of the ads to go with it, which meaning that you don’t really get the full effect of the episode because you got I would love to just watch it all the way through, but unfortunately I can’t afford to. I’ve been following DramaBox for a while now and that’s my stress reliever when I can’t sleep I’m going through things I watch the little clips my overall I enjoy watching the stories and seeing the outcome I wish it was more free episodes Unless commercials thank you.Geegee 50Version: 5.6.1

Great stuff but we need to make some changesI love family love takes me home, but JESUS is it hard to like the app. For starters, a majority of the shows start at 5-10 minute long episodes, to reduce to 1 minute long. Second off, coin system is glitched. Ex: I have 15 coins, which equals 3 episodes, but my coins run out at 2 episodes. Another thing, it’s very unfair that I have to watch ads that can be nearly 3 minutes long, just for 1 minute long content, and it’s even more unfair that watching those same ads, are equivalent to a mere 1 coin. Another thing, as someone who has not paid a single penny on the app, only watched via ads, it has taken me days just to get to episode 60 with the plot to only be halfway finished. I’m talking like 15 days. Lastly, coin system is not a great system. A subscription is simply the best way to go. Having to pay 20 dollars for the equivalent of 40 episodes, each episode being 1 minute long, making that 20 dollars for not even a 1 hour binge? Absolutely ridiculous. I’d rather go the subscription route, or at least provide more coins for the amount of money required. And again, 1 ad = 1 coin? Seriously? I love this app, truly, but it’s just a tad bit too greedy for me. That’s why it’s a solid 4 stars. It just feels like my contributions, even if just watching 1 ad, is giving me very little reward, not even 1 episode. Episodes are, again, 1 minute long btw. Pretty good app, the currency needs a slight adjustment!Really like the short episodes with the vertical format. I think this is a great way of showing little stories that doesn’t require a ton of like production and what not. The acting isn’t like what you’d see on like well known tv and things but it has its own charm that’s really nice. That being said I think getting currency for free should be improved a little. I understand that making users watch ads to continue watching these mini stories is incentive to purchase the coins and i have no issue with that. But the problem is that when doing the things to receive free coins it is simply not enough. If you decided to watch 15 ads to get coins you’d only be rewarded with 30 coins which is enough for 6 episodes when most series have over 30 episodes. This doesn’t include how much time you’d spend to watch 15 ads. Because not only are the ads 30+ seconds long but you have 20 second wait times between each time you watch the ads. Short episodesSeems like the episodes get smaller or shorter every time I'm finding that when I listen go to the ads I have to watch to get to know another episode then when it goes to the episode, then it's not doing anything and I have to keep trying to touch it gotta get start so the episode in starting on time I've paid for this site before and it seemed like episodes are really short then and used that my my tying that I had bought in a matter of an hour it was gone. It's not even that I mean it was ridiculous and it's not to pay money for that when you just make it shorter control all the time and to be honest some of them are really poor acting. I want more informationI would love to be able to have a lot more information available for each of the dramas. For instance - I wanna have a summary of what the drama is about. I would love to hear more about which actors were featured in each drama and other key roles such as producer and director. I think this would be a great way to be able to follow talent from their early days into more robust careers. Also, it would be easier to be able to follow people who’s content I enjoyed and find dramas that are more relevant to the genres I enjoy. For instance, there is no comedy genre on this app and I really enjoyed the shorts that are funny. Also, it seems like some of the dramas cut the scene short in ways that make the plot not track completely. I’ve seen them leave. Information that they been reference later in the short. Another thing that is annoying is that they don’t translate the written Mandarin very often. That means I have to screenshot the short and then copy the Mandarin from the photo over to Google translate to be able to figure out what the text says. Tons of good movies (except for those with AI-generated actors)This group has a fairly large collection of movies and puts out new material at a pretty good rate. A nice feature special to this app is their Categories search feature that lets you select movies in specific languages other than English - wonderful for those of us studying or practicing other languages they include in their repertoire. I just finished watching a movie in Japanese, one of the languages I am learning. On other apps I have to stumble on to Japanese, Spanish, Korean or Chinese films by opening the film to listen rather than being able to target a language of choice with a search. Many of the movies here are high quality but, like many of the other movie apps, they have started adding too many movies apparently generated by AI instead of with use of real actors, which would be OK if they included Live Action in their search categories for those of us who want to avoid the ghastly lack of acting ability of AI-generated actors..Bryonne42Version: 6.1.0

Love this appSo I’ve used quite a few different apps like this and found this one is the best. At first I did the weekly VIP but decided to go to the yearly subscription and love it. The only downside is I’ve found a few shorts lacking in endings or missing big chunks. I don’t like the western style shorts as I find the acting really bad but I love the Asian versions. They are over the top but absolutely adorable. The actors really do a great job with what they have to use. I’ve got a few favorites I always go back to as well. The good thing about getting the subscription is if you don’t like what you are watching you haven’t waisted coins. The average watch time is around 3 hrs. I would also recommend sticking with the subtitles and not the dubbed versions as they get really annoying. I liked it a lot at first but....I finished the free trial they give you. Then after that if you don't want to spend $18 a week OR $200 a year the coins needed to unlock episodes are insanely expensive. For $4 you get 40 coins which is good for 8 episodes since each episode costs 5 coins. Now if you didn't want to spend money at all you are given 10 episodes that you have to watch 1 ad for each episode. The problem I find with that is the ads are 3x longer than the episodes themselves. Once you finish those 10 episodes there's a bunch of ways to get free coins.... watch ads... you can watch 15 extra ads for 2 coins per ad totaling 30 coins. Issue is now you're watching 15 ads for 6 videos and again you're spending more time with ads than what you actually want to watch. I don't use this app enough to even consider dropping a subscription but honestly if you didn't use this app a lot and you had the money to burn 200$ isn't a bad deal as some of the shows are highly addicting. Great app but one thing really ruins itThis app is really cool but the worst thing about it is the fact that you are very limited on how many episodes you can watch. Essentially you get coins and each episode is 5 coins to watch. Well you’d think that for you only getting 2 or 3 coins a days after completing all the little “quest” type things, that episodes shouldn’t be so expensive since you’re getting so little coin. Well you’d be wrong. There is no way of getting coins outside of add watching and your 2 or 3 coin daily log in. This is very annoying because I would enjoy to binge the episodes, not watch like one every couple of days. The best shorts app out thereI gave this one 5 stars because it deserves it. I normally don’t because there is always room for improvement but this app just keeps getting better and better. I have been on this app for over a year. At first it only really had Asian shows but then it started getting more English ones it constantly gets shows I’m waiting for on other apps. The rewards are ok and they don’t have unwanted ads playing all the time like a lot of other apps. Plus if you want to get a subscription it’s pretty reasonable and right now they have a deal on it. Let me select which episode I watchI kept getting drawn into these dramas so I downloaded the app so I can see the entire series. At the end of the trial of each series you either buy coins or watch an ad for Every episode. You can’t start a series in the middle, you are forced to watch every single episode in order the first time…at least if you are not buying coins. I haven’t bought coins so not sure if it’s different for paid version. When you log in every day you get coins and can watch a few episodes without ads HOWEVER, this doesn’t let you select the episode you want to watch in the series and more often than not autoplays 1-2 episodes back and takes your coins to do it!! 🤬 so then you’re forced to buy coins or watch more ads to view the episode you really wanted to watch. My absolute favorite app!I live in the US and speak English, this app is so much better than any other one out there! I honestly love it so much I bought the year long exclusive membership and I do not regret it at all, this app brings me nothing but joy! I love love LOVE watching the Chinese dramas with English captions, I love it so much that I’ve started to learn Chinese by watching them with captions and talking with my parents’ long time friend that moved here from china decades ago. I’ve had such a special connection with her since and she’s teaching me a proper tea ceremony for my wedding. I’ve always had such a love for Chinese culture and history and being able to watch these shorts has taught me so much and brought me much closer to an amazing lady and a lovely culture ^-^ I have nothing but respect and love for this app, thank you to the developers for creating this app!! You get what you getIf you’re looking for some high budget short films, then this is the wrong place. That being said a lot of them are very entertaining. Some of them are very funny. You will have to accept that the same group of actors will be acting in a lot of the dramas. A lot of them are very good so much so that I believe that they have potential to go to like full length projects. Except that it is going to be low budget a lot of them. The CGI is not always great, but if you watch a few short dramas that have really good actors you forget all of that. Also remember that some of the plots will repeat because they will be doing it in other countries like some of them are Chinese but they may repeat the same plot and Taiwanese. I canceled the subscription after a while and now my card had to get cancelled because they kept charging me from somewhere or another account that I don’t even know if I have. Very Good StreamI don’t usually do reviews but I had to do this one. It’s well deserved. This is my go to streaming app for drama shorts. I watch on 2 devices. I’m not saying it’s perfect. Some of the translations are incorrect but nevertheless you can guess what they trying to say. Other apps are way way worse. The stories are nice and entertaining. So many to choose from. Yesss it’s a pay app but if you can also watch ads to unlock episodes. It’s well worth the wait. Other apps don’t even have the watch ads to unlock episodes or you can only unlock 1 per day. Good until it’s notThe quality of the videos are not good it like watching someone on green screen through AI … you’ll know what I mean when you see the flicking images. Wanna Pay $200 per Year?I don’t usually write reviews cause I know how these things go, but this one absolute GREED! Unless you are prepared to just go ahead and pay the $200 per year for unlimited episodes, don’t waste your time! The lower pricing modules are utterly ridiculous. You could end up paying $50 and still won’t be able to finish one full episode. Og course they offer Free coins in exchange for watching ads, which I’m used to in apps, but this set up is absolutely insane. I’ve never seen one this bad. First of all, The episodes are EXTREMELY SHORT, not even 1 min long. I mean come on! The ADs they make you watch are longer then the episode they give you in exchange. Thats crazy. And then what’s even worse is they make you watch the SAME ADS over and over again. Even after you’ve downloaded the games from the ads, you still have to click multiple times thru the ads before the X comes on screen to exit out of the screen. Imagine having to CONSTANTLY go thru 3 mins of Ads just to see less then 1 min of a story? Unless you can afford the $200 per year this is an absolute RIP OFF! They are charging more per episode then an average top rated MOVIE. You got to be kidding me. READ THIS. SAVE YOUR MONEYThis app is nothing more than a money scam. Don’t waste your time. They’ll offer you a few minutes of a show and cut you off at the climax of a scene, request you spend money to continue watching, but each episode you buy is a minute long and a dollar spent. Instead they offer other methods to obtain points to continue like watching ads, but the ads you watch are longer than the one episode you’ll manage to save up to buy, so don’t bother. Additionally, they offer linking your net box account to an email for points, or signing in with facebook, and if i had to guess, it’s likely a ploy to get your information. Even if you give the information too, you’ll get basically the same points from watching an ad. So it’s all pretty worthless and time consuming. If you want to go through the trouble of their ploy to take information and your money for a minute long episode, (which has very mediocre actors and plots) Then maybe this app is for you. Furthermore, i’ve read countless reviewers who shared their personal experiences with this app, and these seem like the only real ones here. The critics talk about spending money on the app on points to watch episodes and not receiving anything. I highly recommend you read their reviews too to learn more about this under the review filter “Most Critical” as this tends to be the place where actual people will rate apps, and aren’t hidden by countless bots. What’s the obsession with physical abuse in all of these stories???First of all it’s 50 coins an episode if you can’t afford the STAGGERING $20/ month fee for this…supposed “drama.” The storylines are all the same but for minor changes like actor or location. Waste of your precious timeEvery “show” has the same narrative: Protagonist either returns or forgets they have power/riches. Protagonist is ridiculed for 90+ “episodes” even though they prove many times and verified by highly worshiped figures in the community (all while the supposed love interest still doesn’t believe them an apologizes for them every step of the way.) that they are powerful/rich. Antagonist says “nah lil bro you still aint him” and everyone goes back to berating protagonist. Last 2 “episodes” either proves once again they are who they said they were by either saving “love interest” or finally shutting up antagonist. Everyone finally praises protagonist and they walk off set. I just saved you weeks even months of having to watch thousands of hours if ads for less than 100 hours of the actual show. I say “show” and “episodes” with quotes, because this would not even be considered episodes because each of their “episodes” is only 30-45 seconds. To watch the “episode” you need 5 coins. You receive 2 coins per 1 minute 30 second ad. Meaning you would have to watch 4 minutes and 30 seconds (give or take) of ads (that can crashes and have to start the app over) to watch less than 1 minute of an “episode”. They give you the first 6 “episodes” for free, but no plot will have emerged of processed within those “episodes” until usually the 10th “episode”. Parasitic AppI downloaded this app and watched one show. Afterwards, I *logged out* and *closed* the app, only to find another show active in the task bar atop my screen on the home page. I clicked it, and the app opened immediately into a new show series that I did not select, and began playing. (Meaning: logging out and app closure did not fully end the process or stop the task from running.) I deleted the undesired show from my watch history, logged out, and closed the app *a second time* only to find yet again the same show [I did not select] was active in the task bar atop my screen — just as before. I tried once more using the previous procedure without success, only to find the same active show in the task bar atop my Home Screen — ALL despite having logged out and closed the app for *a third time*. I found it quite disturbing that the app is invasive and parasitic to this degree on my device, and I have now deleted the app. Regrettably, I paid some money to finish the original show. Thankfully, however, I did not waste my money on a membership! Major App GlitchI really like the stories, however this app is not worth the price. The rewards coins are a waste and need major upgrades. Mostly goodSo I downloaded this just for the the “My Secret Agent Husband” one. It’s cheesy which I expected but I’m sappy so I loved it. And now I have no problem watching ads for free content. They have to fund it somehow and I get that. My only problem is that I only get 5 single commercial unlocks per day. Otherwise you have to watch three commercials just to get enough coins to watch one and even then you’re limited on the number of coins you can get without paying double than a mainstream streaming site. Vibe of manipulation into membershipI honestly haven’t been this frustrated with an app in a long time. They make it where for your own sanity you HAVE to get the membership. Each episode is about 1-2 minutes long and watching an ad is sometimes longer than the content you are unlocking. The cost, the ad delivery, and the ad timing are major setbacks that prevent users from being able to enjoy any show. If you choose the ‘free’ option you’ll have to watch ads, however, the ads often cause the app to freeze, so you have to watch ads many times over in order to get access to watch longer. Great dramas but be careful when payingSo I’ve had this app for some time and it has great dramas, but now the way they charge has changed. WowSo I saw an ad for this app on Facebook while scrolling. The story was very entertaining and so i downloaded the app to continue the story. All was going okay until I get to the point that the story is no longer free. Okay no big deal. I’m okay with paying for quality content on apps. But this app. Wants $200 for a yearly membership. Or $22 per WEEK to finish watching. Or you can buy coins to unlock an episode. Or there’s an ad you can watch to unlock 20 seconds of the show. But only 8 times. Lowest cost coin pack is 500 coins for 6.99. Episodes are 50 coins to unlock. No idea how long episodes are but if it’s like the “watch an ad to unlock” 20 seconds it’s ridiculous. Overrun with AI GarbageI used to be a huge fan of Dramabox. It was my favourite vertical platform as there was always lots of content to choose from and a variety of actors and stories to suit almost any mood. That being said, in the last couple of weeks they have gone very AI video heavy and it’s hard to pick them out based on the cover art and therefore there is a lot of trial and error now to find one that uses real actors and decent story lines. If you’re going to keep pumping out AI garbage make sure you tag them better so we can move past them if we choose to.
