Free and goodI love open source software and use it all the time. Nothing everything needs to have ads and fees. The app functions as it should and I don’t feel as if my privacy is being sold to the highest or even lowest bidder. I use this app to control several LED strips and it works well. My only real issue is the macros for time and scheduling appears not to work. I have followed multiple tutorials and it still doesn’t assign an on off schedule. I have to manually turn my lights off. Unsure if the update broke the function or what?? Other than that it’s great. Thank u for offering free apps for the community! Especially In This economy. Super easy to get runningThe app worked great for me right off the bat. Everything was very intuitive and easy to set up. Updating wled to the latest beta was effortless. It did take me a second to realize I had to mess with some settings to use the dedicated white channel on my led strip. I had to enable the slider for dedicated white in user settings or select an option in the auto-calculate w channel from RGB in LED preferences. This could’ve been better explained. Fortunately Wled project has all the necessary docs where everything is explained..Beghe falcoVersion: 6.1

Update breaks it - beta worksI was using the app and it was functioning ok. When I updated the app pretty much everything broke. I couldn’t access any presets, the effects weren’t listed and I couldn’t even view a color wheel to pick colors for the lights. When I switch to beta, everything went back to normal. Used to work flawlessly before update for meNever had an issue with app before. I was having some shorting issues which I thought updating would solve. Long story short, I fixed the shorting issue and the lights work as they should since the macros are on a schedule but the app is now unusable. Won’t load the UI and when it does it gives me an error and then kicks it back out to the main screen. I’ll wait a few seconds and then the lights appear online again and I’ll click again and it’ll error out. Two of the errors I keep getting were “Syntax error: the string did not match the expected pattern.” The other was “Type error: undefined is not an object. (Evaluating e.no.on)” I’ll have to investigate if a wipe and re-install will fix but since the lights are working on their own now I’ll wait until it goes down..Jaysix22Version: 6.1

It wants to be great, but it’s not goodI can’t even say that the app is “good”. It’s pretty crappy. And with how much I paid to have these lights installed it would be great to be able to actually use the functions properly. The time and macros section does not work at all. It is constantly changing the preset that it is on all on its one to the basic bright white which I don’t like at all and it shows there is an update that will not update after more than a month of trying almost daily. It would be nice if it worked. It would be nice if you could control your lights with out being connected to your WiFi, like when you’re away from home…. Overall I would never use the app if I didn’t have to and it definitely would have made an impact on my decision to have the bosso lights installed if I would have known how ridiculous this app is to deal with.PorshaRoseVersion: 6.1

Absolute garbageI only gave it 1 star because it doesn’t let me give 0. Once the app opens, it wont allow me to change anything within the app. When I attempt to toggle between tabs to change the light color or effects the app doesn’t even pretend to respond 95% of the time. The other 5% the screen will change to an incomplete list like it’s actually trying, and then freeze up. Nothing changes this or improves it. I’ve exited out of all other apps. In theory good, but not.There are many things to like about this app, as you are given a lot of flexibility. However, I am never able to connect to my LEDs. Update ruined everythingThis app and wled integration with my esp8266 worked great flawless actually until it gave me the option to update that I did.
