Amazing app! It just works!!This is an amazing piece of software the developer has put their heart and soul into. This has primarily replaced almost anything I’d normally use a pen and paper for. I use it primarily for taking notes in class and journaling, occasionally to make to-do lists and scribbling things I need to keep a track of (Excellent for ADHD). The developer is amazing a responds to questions, concerns and feedback almost immediately. The only 2 features which make me go back to GoodNotes is the lack of support for converting , your notebook to LaTex and the lack of a zoom video with an auto advance feature allowing me to keep my notes tidy and write complex differential equations or working with proofs etc. (kinda important for STEM majors). Other than that kudos to the dev and thank you for making such an amazing application. P.S. Noteful gets a lot of reviews as inexpensive alternative to GoodNotes/ Notability but I find that this application is richer and very intuitive to use. And, my handwriting looks a lot better on UltraNotes compared to Noteful which seems crude in comparison..Prakhar.raiVersion: 1.2.1

Love itttttttI have been a long time user of Callanote, but I needed a change. That app wasn’t working for me anymore - too complicated to use. And I have been experiencing technical difficulties with that app. I have tried others too, but so far I am loving Ultra so far. It is simple and easy to use. I have had no technical problems so far. I also really like how my apple pen feels in my hand when I write with it. Sometimes, it really feels like I’m writing with a marker! Super Impressed! I am also LOVING how you can categorize the notes and create new categories. Super easy to access and find. I will be using this for my master’s program studies and possibly for daily journaling. Great newcomer to the spaceI’m always trying new note taking apps on the iPad looking for the ‘perfect one” but always struggling because I’m still not sure what that means. All of them do the basics pretty well but trying to figure out the nuance of what I need and don’t need seems hard. UltraNotes does everything I need and I find myself using more and more because it isn’t overly complicated nor does it try to do a bunch of stuff I don’t need. Need some improvements.Great app but navigation needs improvement. Suppose I made folders inside a folder or one more layer of folder and if I need to access them then I need to click lot many back back, if you see notion then there you can see that left side navigation panel you can see dropdown subfolders pages titles etc which makes lot easier to navigate and quickly reach out where you want to go. Or may be on more sub navigation panel next to main panel. But I like Notion navigation for pages and folders which makes life lot easier while working on multiple folders or pages..Elon TimVersion: 1.2.1

Great journal type app, some quirksTo me, this is a journaling application, not a notes app like Apple Notes, Bear or Obsdian. UltraNotes heavily relies on pen usage…It will sync your notebooks to iCloud, but you can’t use them in iCloud like other notes apps…If you want to draw or hand write, you have to click on draw, select your tool, such as highlighter, pen, fountain pen, etc…If you want to use text, you have to insert a text box then type. There is no resizing for the text box. You just have to select a larger font to adjust box size…if you are into writing journals, this is a great app, even has traditional journal covers. Don’t think it’s for me, but will keep an eye on it..RocketcuseVersion: 1.1

As if good notes and apple notes had a baby!I’m an avid user of both good notes and apple notes. I’m also an artist and so when journaling sometimes I start sketching and rendering ideas. This app has the same tools as apple notes: pencil, watercolor etc.. but in the same workflow format as good notes: pages in a notebook, multiple notebooks etc.. Really love this app! Exporting notes, locking zoom, resizing shapesHi. I’ve found 3 issues with this app. Firstly, exporting notes to other apps or making pdf of them is not working! Moreover, when writing with Apple Pencil my hand would change the size of the page (zoom in or out); it is better to add a locking button to lock the zooming when writing. Finally, when a shape is cut to move it to another position it is not possible to make it smaller or bigger using two fingers. Hope to enhance the application to make it more useful. Very good note taking appIt’s replaced the other ones I’ve been doing and for a much more reasonable price. The only issue I’ve had so far is that importing PDF’s is a little quirky sometimes, which I believe may be related to iCloud sync. Otherwise, it’s fast and so far pretty reliable (only one crash losing data, which is luckily never more than a minute or two in the past).C KVersion: 1.2.1

Nice appI am a big fan of all of the apps developed by this company. If you need file management services for all your connected devices, you've come to the right place! One hint for UltraNotes users…..if you have trouble with syncing via iCloud, try going into settings and toggling the iCloud sync button. At least this worked for me. Big issues with the app (still love it though)I’ve grown to hate the apple notes app because of no zoom and no individual pages. I came from Samsung notes on android which is the gold standard for notes apps. Never got hot or deleted items. I have been having an issue where added pages do not save when I get out of the note and that’s insanely bad. Almost not usable. This only happens when I bring in PDFs and insert pages, not on normal notes. I would love if y’all can quickly fix this because this is stressful. Also the getting hot while writing is an apple issue I guess since it’s on every iPad I have tried and in multiple apps.
