Great gameLove the VTMB universe this game has been really fun so far.Version: 1.0.7
Could have been betterWhile this is basically a “chose your own adventure” graphic novel, your decisions feel inconsequential and only affect some minor details about how some events in the middle of the story play out. You can’t really screw it up even when you make choices that should screw it up. And no matter what you do, with any of the three different starting characters you get to choose from, the ending is always the same. You have no way to actually alter the journey, just color some flavor on the way. Would have been nice if you could have made some bad choices that actually got you killed, or some intuitive choices that positively changed the ending. As-is it was neat enough and worth the $5, but it could have been so much more. Think I will pass on the sequel..Version: 1.0.9
Good Game, hoped for more.The story is good, but I don’t like the game. You may as well just read the plot in a book. Especially in the beginning, there are many dialogues with only options that force you into bad situations. Even if there are options you CAN pick that are different from what you are “expected” to pick, it seems like it would generally result in a game over. I don’t know this for sure because I only did it once. It immediately ended the game and deleted my save. In short: Good story but choice appears to be an illusion..Version: 1.0.7
