Subnautica App Comments & Reviews
Subnautica Positive Reviews
I LOVE SUBNAUTICASo I have decided this is one of the best games I have ever played it’s SOOOOOO FUN I LOVE IT and it works on my iPad because I’m playing on an iPad mini gen and it’s listed as unsupported but it works it’s just bad graphics (except for the water even with bad graphics it looks AMAZING it’s the best water I have ever seen in a game) but there is one problem when I get to the alien structure on the island the one that is big it kicks me out I don’t expect you to fix it because you guys say my iPad is unsupported in the description just mentioning it and I hope one day I can get it on my laptop or download it back when I get a new iPad (btw I have had this iPad since I was 6 or 7 no pun intended and now I’m 11 so it’s pretty old but it works) also I really really like the mechanics and driving the cyclops and sea moth I think that is what it was called I kinda forgot and one more thing I really like the story I haven’t completed the game yet and I don’t think I can because of that bug where it kicks me out but I have watched walk throughs and I like playing in creative so yeah that’s my review on your game I hope one day I can finish the game on my laptop with amazing graphics😄 bye i can’t wait for Subnautica two to come out.Version: 1.2.4
I love it but…I love the game a lot, I always wanted to play it but I couldn’t since I didn’t had a PC or Console to play in, well now that I been playing it I notice several things but I’m not sure if they are bugs or glitches, first issue I had was that I built a scanner room but the actual scanner doesn’t works correctly whenever I try to scan for items it says scanning but it stays like that forever and never actually shows me or tells me anything, second thing I notice is that most of the times a creature tries to attack me even if there’s a wall in between the creature somehow it’s available to clip through the walls which it doesn’t make any since specially the reaper leviathan or other bigger creatures, third thing I also hate is how hot my device can get whenever I try to play for longer than 30 minutes and I know it’s not my device cause I play on an IPhone 16 Pro Max or an iPad Pro M4 why I say this is cause on other mobile games like PUBG or Farlight 84 the issue doesn’t even exist so I believe the game needs to be optimized a lot more, my last one is battery what I mean about battery is that the game drains so much energy from any of my devices I mentioned before is just unbelievable how fast my IPad or IPhone die whenever I play for a couple of hours plus the heat just makes me not want to play it even tho I love the game so much, all I ask is for a update that fixes these issues thank you..Version: 1.2.4
One of My All-Time Favorite Games Lives Up to the Hype on MobileI never write reviews, but I felt I had to. I originally played Subnautica over a decade ago and it persisted as one of my favorite games over that time. So when I saw that they ported it to mobile, I was cautiously optimistic, but still had concerns about the optimization for mobile or the game losing the “scuffed” charm that the original had. I’ve played this version on mobile for two hours and so far I’m stunned how good it is. I’m using an iPhone 15 and my phone has hardly gotten mildly warm and I haven’t noticed dropped frames or stuttering of any kind. So far it still has its charm of not being perfectly polished like the original (the fins appear first when cooking garryfish, you abruptly get out of bases without a transition into water, etc.) while also having the heart and fun mechanics that I loved over ten years ago. Maybe the nostalgia is taking over, but of the games ported from console/PC to mobile that I’ve played, this really does seem like one of the best. Through two hours, I can’t recommend it enough, especially if you’ve never played it before.Version: 1.21.82617
Loved it on the Switch, Love it on MobileI’ve played and beaten this game once before on the switch, and I’ve spent years and years watching YouTubers play this, so when I heard it was coming to mobile I knew immediately I had to get it to see what it was like, especially after recently getting an iPhone 16 plus. They did a fantastic job on this. I was honestly stunned with how good the game looked, and the movement was smooth even with the restrictions of mobile controls. They managed to make sure the UI still isn’t overbearing either and I appreciate that. I also think making it on THIS version where things scan instantly instead of depending by size was a good addition and can help any new players looking to get into the game in a smaller way not get frustrated. Of course you have to keep in mind Subnautica is a VAST game that’s now on phones and tablets, not hearty console wires. Even though it runs smooth at 60fps, if you’re looking to play the game for more than an hour or so your device will definitely build up some heat. I’m not sure if tablets are resistant to it but my phone was starting to get hot, granted I get so immersed in the game I can play for 2+ hrs at a time and have to force myself to stop lol. So yeah. Overall, a phenomenal game that (I personally feel) was flawlessly transitioned into the mobile genre, and I couldn’t recommend it enough for anyone just scrolling the App Store looking for a new game to try. This is easily one of the best experiences in the App Store and I mean that wholeheartedly..Version: 1.22
Great but nightmare for Prawn operatorsI’m thrilled Subnautica made it to mobile platforms. It’s the type of game that makes you wish you can wipe your memory to experience the feeling of playing it for the first time again. It’s a game that’s not only a blast to play but the lore and story are novel-worthy. I’m a console player but figured I’d give it a try on mobile and I’m thoroughly impressed. The touch controls are well-mapped and make sense. My iPhone 14 runs the game really well too. My only gripe so far is that the Prawn suit gets stuck super easily which stinks because there’s a button in the pause menu that will move your character to an unobstructed position if you get stuck. When trying this in my stuck prawn, only my character is teleported (which I guess is what it’s supposed to do but it would be cool if it fixed my stuck vehicles though) and my prawn is left stuck with no way of moving other than destroying it and building a new one. I’ve tried grappling out, restarting my game, even ramming it out with my Seamoth to no avail. I’m on my third prawn now and I’m tired, boss. Word of advice: avoid tight spots with the prawn. Especially low ceilings..Version: 1.2.4
Considerate DevsI expected the game to just be a port where the devs slap some buttons on the screen and make it a pain to play like some other games, but with this game I was surprised the longer I played it the more I realized how considerate the devs were to make the game easy to play with touch controls. For example you can pull out your tools pretty fast and if your using a seaglide and your reticle is aiming at something that can be scanned you will have a little icon pop up to pull out your scanner the game will also pause when pulling out your tools very very nifty, also props to removing scanner scan time. Also thank you devs for giving us the option to play the game with max graphics I have a hard time seeing a difference between pc and mobile version and the game runs pretty smooth with occasional stutters but that's because I'm running max graphics I'm sure it will get polished out..Version: 1.21.82617
Impressive mobile port, but not without issues. The Subnautica mobile port runs amazing on current gen IPads, even the render distance and load-in time for textures isn’t too bad. Unfortunately, the controls however, can be kind of clunky, and a bit buggy. Survival Knife controls are beyond terrible. You will almost never hit anything that isn’t totally stationary with it. Even Cave Crawlers, which have less available directions than ascending, descending, turn-on-a-dime fish are ridiculously hard to hit with the knife. Chief among the issues is that the tiny knife button is controlled by the same hand that controls the camera, so by the time you have your target in your sights, they move out of your camera angles so you have to readjust the camera, rinse repeat ad infinitum. Good luck using the Thermal Blade upgrade! You will never cook a single fish with it, because you have trouble hitting large targets, let alone tiny fish. As for the controls being buggy, the virtual joystick frequently has a bug where it will reset back to center when your finger clearly has it pulled all the way in one direction. This bug can and will get you killed when you’re running away from something. Haven’t gotten far enough to encounter a Leviathan yet, but I can guarantee this WILL be the death of me when I do. Overall, I give this mobile port 4 stars, considering it is a very good port of a very good game. If this control issue and control bug respectively are fixed, I think it would be 5 stars..Version: 1.22
Subnautica is a amazing game to playSubnautica is one of the best survival games out there I’ve played, good building mechanics, good gameplay mechanics, and the mobile port brings all the original experience from console and pc subnautica to this amazing Mobile port, You can even play it with a controller if you have one! I’ve been a Subnautica fan for years and I think they did an amazing job with this mobile port, 10 dollars well spent if you want a underwater survival game where you’re in the ocean with alien species and you don’t already have it, it’s worth it! However I wouldn’t recommend buying unless you want to play it on the go because if you already have it on console because switching between the two can feel a bit different. Other than that. This game is worth it and i recommend it for every one if they’re willing to spend the 10 dollars on the game.Version: 1.21.82617
Pretty good on iPhone 12I am an original PC player and love Subnautica and Below Zero. I’ve got about 10 hours in the mobile version on my iPhone 12. The iPhone 12 is on the bottom of the compatibility list, and medium quality is the highest option for me. Pop in is a big issue, literally islands and whole biomes are invisible until you get close. I’m not happy about that, but the rest of the gameplay is excellent and smooth. Personally, I think my phone can handle more than what they’re offering. The phone runs fairly cool on the highest settings that I am allowed to use. The only reason I’m not giving this five stars is because of the terrible pop in issues on the iPhone 12. They’ve done a wonderful job porting this game to mobile. Controls are excellent, and gameplay smooth. Resource availability is lower and I think the biomes are smaller, but this is still a really enjoyable game and comes very close to the original experience..Version: 1.23
Excited For More Ways To Play!My 10 yr old son has been playing the console version of Subnautica for almost a year. We are glad that he can take his tablet around instead of a big bag with his gaming device. He enjoys the game by searching, building, and more. It’s not a particularly violent game and does seem to encourage things like critical thinking, exploration of the world, etc. I would highly recommend if you have an older child who loves ocean, science, or syfy. For adults: It is a great game. Several members of our family play. There are various modes to play and different zones to explore. I played on creative mode on the mobile app before writing the review since I’m still new to the game itself. The interface works pretty smooth. Graphics on iPhone 14 Pro Max are very nice! I plan to check with more of our devices as I know one is on the Low Resolution list..Version: 1.21.82617
Things I want to see improved🌟 4-Star Review for Subnautica Mobile (Suggested Text): I was really surprised (in a good way) to see Subnautica come to mobile. The fact that this is the full version with no major cuts is awesome, and I was even more surprised to see that the inventory UI looks almost exactly like the PC and console versions. That level of polish really impressed me. That said, there are two major features I’d love to see in a future update: 1. Hotbar Option (like Minecraft or ARK Mobile): Right now, the inventory wheel on the left side is kind of confusing, especially for mobile players who are more used to hotbars at the bottom of the screen. I was shocked (in a good way) when I connected my Xbox controller and saw the console-style hotbar appear. I’d love to see that hotbar UI as an optional layout for touchscreen players too — with tap-to-select bubbles and easy swapping like in Minecraft. It would feel much more natural on phones and tablets. 2. Accessibility Options: As someone who is half-blind, I’d really appreciate accessibility tools like screen reader support or a built-in voiceover mode to read out menus and inventory items. Minecraft does this pretty well, and having similar options in Subnautica would open the game up to more players like me who love this genre but need some visual support. Overall, I’m really enjoying the game so far and happy with the mobile experience. These two changes — a hotbar UI option and some accessibility tools — would easily turn this into a perfect 5-star game in my book. Great work so far! VoiceOver.Version: 1.21.82617
Decent PortThe game is finally released! To stat, here are my specs: IPhone 13 Pro, max settings In game. Also note for new players, take your time with this game, it’s a slow but enjoyable burn. The game itself is nothing short of a masterpiece, having played the original pc title, the story, music, and exploration of this game are great. Having grabbed the mobile port, I am glad to say that you will still find all of the exotic and intriguing locations found in the original game. However, I did stumble on some nitpicks. - Lag: It is bound to show in certain areas (such as the aurora and islands) - movement: A little tough if not adjusted. You can move while rotating the camera, but if you are using a tool or a grabbing hook from the prawn suit, it doesn’t not allow camera rotation at this time. Overall, not too bad for first launch impressions! There are still some thing needing fixes such as setting options for graphics, but no other issues found. A fair warning is that the app does make your phone heat up a little bit on Max settings, but not an issue caused DIRECTLY because of Subnautica. As extra, tips for new players from a vet *Gen spoilers, but this game takes a healthy amount to beat: 1. Go to all the pins, once it feels you can’t go to more… 2. Find blueprints needed… 2b. Find the Island (covered in clouds) 3. Explore the aurora once with radiation suit and equipment 4. Listen and read for codes needed to unlock rooms on ship 5. Find the Lost River and deal with the story line connected to it 6. Build the ________ *spoiler* 7. Enjoy!.Version: 1.21.82617
A Gem… Play This Game!I knew nothing about Subnautica other than having heard the name, so I bought this on a whim when it came out. The premise hooked me right away, and the game is now taking over my daily life. The graphics are amazing on my 16 pro max, the gameplay is fun and engaging, and the story is bare bones enough to drive a simple but effective experience. Basically, your space ship crashes on an aquatic world and you have to figure out how to survive in a quickly-expanding and hostile environment. Your lifepod is your home base, but as you explore & inspect the wreckage of your ship you realize things are not what they seem. Escape is the game, and gathering resources and building cooler and cooler machines is the way. Highly recommend this game, I like it so much that I plan on buying a copy on PC or console as soon as it goes on sale..Version: 1.23
Slight problem…I just want to say, subnautica is a great game and I enjoy it, but when the game went to auto save, it seems to be stuck. The same issue sometimes pops up if you save manually. I will have to exit the game and get back in and will bring me to my last successful save. This might have to do with the fact that it said my device wasn’t supported, I’m enjoying the game but since it auto saving won’t stop loading, it really is getting me stuck. I have around 30 gigabytes left of storage, so it shouldn’t be a storage issue. All I ask is to fix this glitch, and I can continue my game without having to reset to my last save. More recently, I’ve been experiencing a game crash when I get to close to the alien structure at the sunbeam drop point… I’m hoping I didn’t pay 10 bucks just so that I couldn’t finish the game. Thank you for reading..Version: 1.23
Fantastic(Update!!! All this is true but devs please allow us to look around while using items it’s annoying trying to use a fire extinguisher then having to move with the joystick cause I can’t look around)If your looking for a good single player game on iOS look no further the Game looks and runs amazing although there is a bit of pop in but nothing game breaking yet I will have to see when I get to later in the game doesn’t make my phone overheat at all surprisingly last time I played this game was on Xbox capped at 30 fps seeing run on my phone way better than the Xbox one ever could is blowing my mind highly recommend my only complaint is that when your on an island there is absolutely no shadows what so ever it’s not a deal breaker but it just looks very strange.Version: 1.21.82617
Great game. Mobile port needs some fixesI have played Subnautica for a while and always loved the game. So as a mobile gamer the fact it now has a port is awesome and I have been hooked! I do have a few things to report on for fixing. I wish when using the fabricator you could exit and move while something is crafting especially for more complex materials that take more time. I have this bug that tends to make me ascend randomly (I fix it by pausing but still). Also MAJOR TWEAK can you make a feature so the prawn suit arms require a tap to start and tap to cancel instead of holding? (Helps for grapple arm and other arms). Thank you for all the hard work this game and mobile port is a blast!.Version: 1.2.4
Amazing, but the PDA is tweakingI have to get diamonds for the laser cutter, of course, but every time I get diamonds and I open my PDA afterwards it gets stuck on the auto save screen and I have to exit out of the game and go back in to fix it. The only problem is that I’m really forgetful, and every single time I forget to save my game so I still have the diamonds. I’ve been doing the same thing over and over for an hour and a half to get literally five diamonds at the most, because shale outcrops are so hard to find (that I don’t mind at all, it’s the game, and I knew exactly what I signed up for in that department) and I am so forgetful that I don’t remember to save my game. Please fix the PDA, but other than that, I’ve had a great time so far and will keep playing despite the PDA problem..Version: 1.21.82617
This is a full blown beautiful console experience that fits in your pocketI’m normally a PC gamer but when I saw this on iOS I had to try it. I never picked it up for PC. WOW. I will now. What an amazing single player adventure experience, especially considering it’s a mobile game. The graphics, the mechanics, the strange places, it’s all excellent really. I’m sure if I tried hard enough I could find something to change, but at the end of the day this is an amazing adventure. I’ve had no issues playing, and no heat issues on an iPhone 17 Pro. I also really like that this game is able to change the field of view to give it a cinematic wide view. It makes soaking it all in so much better. A+.Version: 1.2.4
Great Port / AdaptationI’ve played the desktop and switch versions of this game and loved it. This is much better than the switch version and pretty close to PC. (Probably hardware limitations on the switch). The team did a great job porting this over to mobile. I love how the fps and graphics are still stellar. (My 15 Pro Max, easily pushed 120 no problem) The screen controls are great for what it is, but I’d still recommend a controller. They’ve made some minor changes to the UI and some functionality of game play to make it easier for mobile players which is much appreciated. (Grabbing fish is more forgiving, scanning is instant, etc.) I’d definitely recommend this to new and seasoned Subnauts. Money well spent. 🙂.Version: 1.21.82617
Absolutely AmazingI have the iPhone 17 Pro and really don’t play games on it. I’ve played and completed this game on my pc. This game is very special in its own way like Minecraft in my opinion and have to say. It is amazing I can play this open world on mobile and looks good. Maybe because I have a newer end phone but that fact that I can run this in my pocket. Wow. I am running it with high but not abs, preferably high and have it capped on 60 hz. Runs great and not hot at all just very little warm, I think it the vapor chamber working. Again, absolutely amazing and I can’t wait to complete it again! Thank you developers for game a mobile game like this in pc and now mobile..Version: 1.2.4
PEAK🔥About 10 minutes after the game was released (on mobile) I am writing this. Subnautica holds a special place in my heart, and being able to play this on the go is amazing. The UI is good, not too much on your screen but also not little. The soundtracks are always fire. It does a good job with the tutorial, saying things like “eat food” and “tap to unequip” or something like that. The way the hotbar is set up is pretty clever. It’s a little button, which opens to 5 slots that you can chose from, while the game is paused. Still has the subnautica feeling (ifykyk). Absolute peak, would recommend if you haven’t played it, 5 stars. (Can’t wait for subnautica 2!).Version: 1.21.82617
DEVS PLEASE READ!!Ok so the game is AMAZING because I can play on my phone and it’s cheaper than its console/pc siblings, but this glitch that’s ruining my progress is occurring! When I open my pda sometimes it auto saves, cool! But I’ve gotten stuck on them so I’m gonna turn it off in the settings until you fix it anyway, OUTSTANDING performance! The game runs so smoothly but only barely noticeable texture changes on the terrain. Also noticed that scanning is instant (not telling to remove) it’s kinda an advantage when scanning dangerous creatures up close. Add on to the auto save glitch I do lose my progress when I relaunch sadly. But overall the game is good..Version: 1.2.4
Awesome game!I’ve always wanted to play this game on PC but I don’t have a PC powerful enough to run it. When I discovered this game now was available for mobile devices I was extremely happy because I now can play the game on my iPhone 17 pro max and I have had no issues with performance or any other issues. I really love this game and I play it almost every day! I hope that eventually this games sequel Subnautica below zero will get a mobile version one day. The developers did an awesome job at creating this mobile version of Subnautica and I hope they continue to make Subnautica an awesome game for everyone to play!.Version: 1.2.4
Absolute CinemaI already have 180+ hours on Subnautica on steam, so seeing it come to mobile and run pretty well is incredible. I love that more people can have access to this beautiful game. The amount of effort that the developers put into coding each and every creature to play its own unique part in the 4546B ecosystem gives me a sense of immersion that is unmatched by any other game I’ve played. You truly feel like you don’t belong on this planet, and the cycle of life will continue on with or without you there. The story is terrifying, tear-jerking, and incredibly satisfying. 10/10 game. I would recommend it to literally anyone..Version: 1.2.4
What I was expecting, few changes should be made thoughI’m really impressed they took the 20 gb game and made it 2 gb, it definitely does not impact game play (so far). It’s exactly what I was expecting, and exactly what I want. As for the changes I’d like to see made, in the base game it’s very easy to craft items over and over by just clicking the craft button the second they are done being made, but on this version you need to click the item THEN the craft button every time. (Very very small annoyance, but very very easy to implement) Another thing is swapping items between containers takes too long, as you need to click on each item and click store every time, unlike the base game where you can spam the switch container button. A fix for this could be a “swap mode” button when in a container, that when this button is toggled, every item you press will instantly be switched to the other container. In summary, great mobile game, but small quality of life changes can be added..Version: 1.21.82617
First ever review for Subnautica MobileIve Played this game on multiple devices, and this is actually not bad compared to others. even on low resolution they manage to make the game look beautiful like on pc. Of course, the graphics aren’t as great as Pc, but the game holds up well. my only problem is there’s no option to pause when ur picking ur items and stuff, and how when u scan it’s immediately scanned. it doesn’t take a while. i’m worried that when i try to scan a reaper it will do that as well. taking away the tension that it’ll break away from my stasis rifle. Either way, this games great..Version: 1.21.82617
Played many timesI got this game a few years ago on my switch, loved it. This mobile version is just as good, great port of the game. I was inspired to write a review after an incident at work last week… idk what happened but not only did our shop loose internet and our system shut down, no one had cell service (regardless of the carrier) for like 12 hours. We couldn’t close because headquarters wanted us there to reopen if everything came back up, but we also couldn’t do anything work related other than to tell people to come back later. Reason for the weird story? I hadn’t opened that app for a month, no WiFi, phone on sos mode, Subnautica booted right up and didn’t crash on me once. Codm takes up 40gigs of memory, but requires internet to open, can’t even single player zombies. NTE is great, but it also takes up 40gigs and requires internet to open. Subnautica is 2.3 gigs, and it’s the entire game..Version: 1.2.4
Very Great, Only Minor IssuesI started playing the game one day after it released, And I gotta say, Even with medium graphic and 60 FPS, It rlly good!, The texture, controls, animations, and gameplay was rlly fun!, I enjoyed my progress-making within this game, I’ve reached a month within this game and you did a good job!!, But aside from all that, There are minor problems slithering around :(, 1: My IPhone 13 Pro is only 5 yrs old and I’ve been experiencing frequent game crashes, like whenever I’m swimming in Safe Shallows, or at random times, my game kicks me out, when I autosaves, the game freezes sometimes, I also experienced a infinite loading screen so I lost all my progress, but I restarted and didn’t quit, :3, Overall 9.3/10.Version: 1.23
A slight issueHello creators of Subnautica I’ve been playing a survival world for like a day and a half and I’ve beaten the game got all the achievements and it’s really fun but one time in creative mode. I got like these commands you know like in Minecraft they were really fun, but the next day they were gone so could you please respond to this review to see if this was a glitch or if this is for like game helpers but then again if you could add them to normal creative world that would be so fun oh and I hear I mean saw that you’re creating a new game, which is below zero all right that’s it.Version: 1.2.4
Great game, but….This game is awesome it runs smoothly the only problem is that whenever you click the pda thing, it freezes and you can’t go out of it, concluding on you having to restart your progress, it happens when overall trying to save the game, it gets stuck on the saving text, and you can’t go out of it. But one more thing… developers please see this, I don’t know if it’s Krafton or the devs replying and reading these reviews, but Krafton… FREAKING PAY THE DEVS THE 250 MILLION BONUS, it’s the most greedy thing your doing right now and very pathetic, let them release the game..Version: 1.21.82617
Hello Subnautica Team!I love Subnautica because I really want to explore the ocean with my own free will, and I have been trying to discover all the leviathans in the game, and almost got to the emperor leviathan, but then the moment I was halfway through the entrance building, it crashed and kept doing it over and over, I think it it my iPad, since it is slightly older then needed to play properly, so if you guys have any suggestions to help fix this, I am all ears, other then that, good job on the game, I can’t wait to play the Subnautica: Below Zero version! 🪼🐠🐟🐬🐳🐋🐋.Version: 1.2.4
WonderfulWell, I don't have a single complaint, it's wonderful, my phone doesn't heat up no matter how much I've been playing, I love the graphics and everything in general, it's very rare that I like a survival game but this one is incredible and also goes up a lot of points by being in the water, on top of that if you want you don't play in survival and you can simply play it as if it were a simulator I really love this game and I'm very happy that they took it out for phone it's totally worth the price.Version: 1.2.4
Please fix terrain not loading 🙏I really love Subnautica and have been playing it for hours on iOS — it’s one of the best survival games ever made. But lately, I’ve been running into a serious problem where the terrain doesn’t load properly. Parts of the ocean floor just disappear or turn into an empty void. It makes my save almost unplayable. I tried all the usual fixes — restarting the app and phone, lowering graphics, freeing up space, and even reinstalling (after backing up my saves). The problem keeps coming back, so it seems like something in the terrain or cell data gets corrupted over time. Please look into fixing this in the next update. The game is amazing otherwise, and it deserves to run smoothly on mobile. A patch for terrain loading and corrupted save issues would make a huge difference for a lot of players. Thank you to the team for bringing Subnautica to iOS — it’s such a great experience when it works right! 🌊💙.Version: 1.2.4
Outstanding PerformanceI was really worried at first about how the graphics and performance was gonna be. Honestly my expectations have been completely exceeded. 60 FPS runs so unbelievable smooth, game looks and runs amazing. I’ve been playing Subnautica ever since it was released on Xbox when the game had consistent lag every second and was an unfinished product. From that release to this release really goes to show how very they’ve come. 11/10. Would absolutely love to see Below Zero on here someday..Version: 1.21.82617
Perfect PortIt’s Subnautica. It’s on mobile. What more do you need? (Seriously, though, they’ve made some really thoughtful QOL improvements to adapt it for mobile, like adding a quick-access button that shows up when you need to scan things, making it pause when you open the PDA, etc. It does a really good job of smoothing out what would’ve otherwise been the roughest edges on mobile, while preserving the full Subnautica experience we know and love)..Version: 1.2.4
Auto saving issuesThe game is overall great as Subnautica is. But you guys really need to fix the auto saving issue. It’s not even a minor issue as it completely destroys all progress you’ve made. Also sometimes important locations such as crash sites, and Degasi bases sometimes don’t load into the map this is also related to the auto saving issue somehow I don’t really know… but please fix this because it’s frustrating, and does not create a good experience..Version: 1.22
Is AMAZING but a few things…This has been around for a while now. But now that it’s really showing on my mobile world? It’s concerning. The lack of resource respawn. It could be like a setting to toggle or other mechanics like more creatures digging up stuff like limestone. Or the void could be expanded on with a late-game resource solution; Making the void a hotspot for both dangerous creatures like the already present Ghost Leviathans but add lots of resources that respawn. Another way would be deep-ground/sea mining drills. Already a mod for PC but could be nice as a complete feature for the base game Another idea? Maybe an item that makes certain creatures spawn and try to kill you depending on where you are but make it respawn resources! Overall this is an amazing game. I played it on PC awhile ago and recently got it for mobile. I think lots could be done for this. Especially after Subnautica 2 or if people want this updated.Version: 1.23
My Controller's confused but I'm having a blastI've loved the game on PC and this is a great way to dive in on the go! However, while I know that this mobile version does support my Backbone controller, the Backbone app refuses to acknowledge that it's working and insists that I write a review to "...request controller support". I understand you have worked hard and created a great mobile port of an amazing game, but I'm not sure how to fix the issue with the app recognizing that the controller is already working fine..Version: 1.2.4

MUST PLAY!Not only is subnautica itself one of if not the best survival games on the market, this game has been ported fantastically to the mobile space. The controls feel good and don’t take up too much of the screen, it runs fantastically (at least on newer devices, I’m not sure about older ones because I have not tested), And it still looks fantastic. If you have an extra 10$ and 3 gigabytes, this is a must get, especially if you haven’t played it already.Version: 1.21.82617
Great just a certain bug that makes me just not want to play.Great almost 1to1 if not exactly that. Looks good honestly kinda crazy. Just one thing when I’m in the cyclops it looks like the sun rays go straight thru my cyclops. I play on high everything not sure why this started to happen. When I turn the lights off it’s just horrible it almost looks like there’s water in the sub. Can email the pic of what that looks like. Other than that 10/10.Version: 1.2.4
Overall a good game just wish it didn’t freeze every time I saveI was so happy to see Subnautica on mobile as my old PlayStation broke so I had to buy it and I was a little worried it wouldn’t run good but it runs surprisingly smooth and the graphics for a mobile game our pretty good the only problem I came into was when I went to save the game would freeze on the loading screen which is hard to play with considering the fact after I unlock a blueprint I want to save pls fix this issue.Version: 1.21.82617
I hope they take it into accountThe game is very good although some creatures still get stuck with the walls and others go through them but it's normal since the game barely came out the only thing I didn't like is the graphics section since I can't upload more than the average resolution and my iPhone 11 is not the big deal but it has supported much heavier games and I've played them with high graphics, please add more graphic adjustments.Version: 1.21.82617
10/10 port to mobileRuns insanely well, looks as good as you can expect for a mobile port, and no crashes in my 20 hours of gameplay. Insane that they were able to bring such an amazing experience to mobile without compromising on the feel or atmosphere of the game, first time getting in my cyclops was as insane as my first time almost 10 years ago on pc, which is crazy because I’m playing on a 5 year old ipad usually at 3 am lol.Version: 1.22
As amazing as ever!I pre-ordered this the moment I saw it announced for mobile, by far my favorite game I’ve ever played! This is not just a quick conversion of a large game to mobile, you can really feel the time and effort put into adapting this masterpiece to IPhone. The controls are amazing, the graphics are gorgeous, and it doesn’t even drain my battery too bad or run my phone hot. No glitches encountered so far either. 10/10 would recommend!.Version: 1.21.82617
Great game.Subnautica was an absolutely amazing game! I was blown away by the amazing underwater world and the thrill of adventuring through it. The graphics are not bad, and the sense of exploration is wayyyyy off the charts. Its like minecraft but oceanic the way you can build your own bases and craft cool gadgets. The story is so engaging, and it is great to play offline for getting lost in the game for hours. Overall, I recommend it for anyone who enjoys exploration and survival games! 100% worth the money spent..Version: 1.2.4
Subnautica team please read thisI really like the game it’s super fun and the gameplay is great but there is a bug that when I try to save it all gets frozen and the only way to get out of that is to close the game and restart because all that I do is not being saved when I try to go back to my life pod the top of the environment is missing and I can go into the void and when I try to save it all freezes and it makes me restart I hope you guys find a solution to this problem thanks 🥀.Version: 1.22
