The best gacha to ever exist.This game takes the crown with gacha games point blank period. It’s everything you can ask for. An anime, gacha, card game, Slay The Spire gameplay styled roguelike with NO fatigue system and tons of content. I mean you guys simply just nailed it. I honestly was getting bored of all mobile games, and then this appeared and it immediately revived me. Not to mention the graphics and sound design along with the gameplay is peak. The only issue i’ve kind of noticed was every quest no matter what the difficulty seems to give you 1200 EXP. I feel like maybe this should be higher EXP gain on harder difficulties and lower on easier ones. an entire Chaos dungeon run on Level 3 difficulty gives me 1200 Player EXP and a quick Simulation dungeon on Level 1 difficulty gives me the same amount. A little disappointing, but still really goodI like this game a lot. As a gacha, it is very generous and gives back to the player a lot. It has a really cool and unique concept, in that all of the game takes place in this horror like landscape. It has a very unique battle system that keeps the game feeling fresh. However, my problem with the game is the storyline and how the characters interact with the MC. Like most gacha’s it fits only towards the male gaze, if you catch my drift. The storyline is starting to turn into self-insert slop, as in the main character has all of these women characters fawning over him and a lot of the character development ends up being focused on this. To be completely blunt, I think that by doing this the game is squandering its potential. I do not mind the character choices, but more so the lack of individuality in the character development. The first couple chapters of story were amazing, truly. Right up until season 1 the story was great. Season 2 was where I felt as if the story started to become slop. Which is disappointing because of how unique the game could be in terms of storytelling. Also, good luck in getting any new male characters anytime soon in you’re into that. But aside from my clear dislike of the story direction, I think it’s still a great game. Love it, hopeful warningGreat game, wonderful graphics, thought provoking combat. For now, it is an awesome experience. HOWEVER, please do not kill player perception of the game by hyper sexualizing the characters. That caters to a degenerative type of guy (losers) who are detached from the reality. I am a working professionally degreed and licensed, and I hope for this game to respect sensibility in this aspect of quality characters (like Kayron) who are not overly sexualized. The game mechanics are good enough to be respected on its own. Sex will sell and is good in small quantities, over due it and it will lock you to a small audience of perverts. Strategy, story, optionsI’m a bit stingy with 5-star reviews, but this game is so broadly polished that it’s earned. Mix and match characters (unlocked via gacha, but you can’t win ‘em all), three-character team Deckbuilder Roguelite gameplay, and you can save each character’s deck each run for other game modes. The early-game is a bit easy, but Nightmare Mode helps, and by the mid-game you unlock harder modes. The story (both broad-strokes plot and inter-character) is good, the lineup of factions, anomalies, and transcendent entities is interesting and are reminiscent of various respective worldviews. Not pushy about IAP. Main complaints: certain game mechanics can be occasionally confusing (even with the Help section), certain characters are drastically stronger or weaker than others, and certain unlocks are XP-gated rather than challenge-gated. Epic Rougelike GachaI truly love everything about this game but probably the best thing about it for new players is that the 4 Star characters are all extremely well designed and can compete well enough with the 5 Star characters to allow you to clear almost all endgame content except for the absolute last 1% of the game. But their gacha system also rewards you with a steady supply of 5 stars that by the time you get there you will have what you need. This isn’t even mentioning the absolutely awesome gameplay and deck building mechanics that they have as well as the ‘Epiphanies’ that allow you to change how each character plays depending on your playstyle. It also allows you to save multiple ‘decks’ so for example you can have one deck that’s a one-shot build and then another that’s a rapid fire build. There is TONS of exciting options and possibilities and it’s really fun to play through and see what you get during your Chaos runs (the deck building mode) They also balance it in a very thoughtful way so that even if you don’t get exactly what you were going for, you can still complete the run and don’t get stuck because of a bad roll of the dice. Almost Perfect (except for the gacha)Incredible game. However, my 5 star rating is subject to go down if a few problems aren’t fixed. I’m confident that most problems will be solved, so I won’t go through all of them (translation issues, save data clarity, and others.) The first issue that really bothers me is the gacha. Last night, at the beginning of season 1, I sat ready to—wallet at my side—drop up to $50 on some meaningful shop item. But when I realized it would take about $150 to guarantee Yuki dropping, it just felt like it was WAY too much. Think about it: I could purchase two brand new AAA $70 games for the price of 1 particular 5 star character. It’s insane. The game feels like it wants you to either be a whale or free to play. There needs to be a middle class in this game. If I just want to drop $20-$50 then that should provide something more meaningful than getting me 1/4 of the way to a single character. Wonderful game, terrible community…To start off it has one of the best implemented card turn based combat Iv ever experienced. The level designs and rouge-like elements is really peak. The endless combinations and synergies with units are what makes the game all the better. The poor team gets bashed by their Korean players for the game not being “gooner” enough. Complains about how the MC is not the center of attention, which is nice for a change and not a run of the mill harem slop story. While I love the apology rewards they dish out, it also kinda leaves a little hole in my heart too. Resources part 2This won’t be long, I just want to ask the devs to increase the amount of crystals we get from the memory fragment battles. I have about 1 thousand low tier crystals, but for some reason my high tier crystals never seem to go over 50. The most we seem to get from the highest difficulty is like 3, so just wish that it can be boosted to be about 5 or 6. This may not seem like a lot, but you really only need 10 high tier crystals to max out an item, and I would prefer to do 2 battles than 4; especially when I have other resources to worry about. I hope we could see an improvement to the rate up banners to not be at the mercy of a 50/50 coin toss every time a 5 star is pulled. It would be nice to get a 50/50 system on the standard character banner with a guarantee if you lose to make obtaining certain standard 5 stars more easily obtainable and not at the complete mercy of rng, which for fairness can only let you guarantee the initial 10 standard units. Auto battle needs an extreme overhaul, I struggle to find a stupider Ai than the ones in this game. The skip dialogue button should be available for all dialogue immediately, give players the choice. Auto battle should at least be available to the players in story mode and chaos. Great gameplay held back by poor localization and a cumbersome UII really love the idea of a deckbuilder gacha game and CZN delivered on that big time. It takes a lot from Slay the Spire and incorporates the team building element of gacha games exceptionally well. When I draw the perfect combo of agent cards to save a boss fight, it’s exciting and I feel like my agents are working together. That said, the game feels rushed. The English localization is pretty poor. It’s hard to understand what some keywords do. I’m constantly taken out of the story by weird or confusing translations. The art style is another issue. It’s okay if a game wants to be fanservice forward but in this case the art is so all over the place that it’s jarring. Some characters look flat with minimal shading and animation but others are glistening with jiggle physics. It’s a hilarious difference is quality and it’s hard to ignore. Awesome game, but always carry burn cream.Absolutely a great game! Very interesting concept and play mechanics are unique. Gatcha rates are pretty good and getting in game currency is very easy. Have yet to pay real money and still have a lot of 5/6 star characters. Definitely not pay to win. I would rate it 5 stars, but I do have a decent concern. It will run your device HOT!!! I’ve now had my phone(IPhone 15 pro max by the way) turn off due to heat multiple times. Running it with low power mode and it’s still hot! It will also lag severely in that setting as well. I caught frames down to 7fps during a chaos mode run and it was awful. CZN so farCZN has truly gotten better as time goes on, with the amount of free pulls they give away to the constant updates by listening to players. I been playing CZN since week 1, game started out fun with nothing but zero-system, but after 2 weeks game became stale, with the release of season 1 game was hype again, but the only thing that bothered me was how hard it was to build decks with the randomness that I didn’t bother going to high scores, now with season 2 that is mostly fixed, decks are easier to build with new systems and every character having a different play style make it more fun, now I can farm deck comfortably to prepare to high scores soon..RozaruVersion: 1.0.247

Exceptional Gacha GameI have played games from the release of brave frontier and onwards all over the apple app store. This game is unique in the way that the starting characters are balanced enough to take you through events and end game content just as well as most 5 star characters can. If there is a 5 star character that you really want it’s more attainable than most other games as well when their banner is ongoing. The chaos is an interesting challenge with the stress mechanic making it engaging. Solid gameHonestly, I’m not a phone gamer. But recently I’ve had some free time where I’ve only had my phone available. I picked this game up on a whim because it looked interesting (like a mix of slay the spire and darkest dungeon). I have been nothing but pleasantly surprised by how good it is. Great game - limited options for GachaGame really is quite entertaining the card system is incredible and changes the strategy for each character and how you want to build them. Only real negative is the very little to no opportunity for acquiring pulls for characters. They seem pretty stingy in giving away anything even in the beginning of the game. Best gacha game I’ve played in a whileLove the challenging rogue-like game experience. Spent way too much time in Chaos mode, which is definitely a winner for this game. The randomness of challenging dungeons and the potential character customization make this game very unique and awesome. It’s great, but I wish there was a player gender optionIt’s a really great game, but I wish they did what other popular mixed gender gachas do and let us choose our gender, or at least had the main character’s gender be ambiguous. Doesn’t really make much sense from a demographics or financial perspective, since most guys don’t like pulling for male characters. Guys who are into male characters also will likely get turned off by how most characters are women and how people attracted to women are heavily favored. Epiphany system needs a redoAs the title says, if you’ve been here and have experienced first hand at how awful the epiphany system can ruin your whole build and (sometimes your whole Chaos run) you know that this system needs a do over. Getting epiphanies needed to have a proper save data is TOO challenging. I spent 36 hours near straight to see for myself and always have been getting ruined with bad epiphanies. Amazing character and interesting enemy designs. Each character has their own unique animations for skills and ults. The gameplay is easy at first but gets challenging as you go farther. The graphics are really crisp and there are visual novel elements. There’s scenes that just blow me away. There’s a lot of detail that goes into this game and you can even deep dive into character backstories. There is a lot to do in this game so I never get bored whereas in other games I play for a week or two and fall off. I like that rewards come easy and you don’t feel like you have to pay to win. Great gameplay but…This game has a really interesting gameplay and offers a lot of strategy. Main issue is that the connection to the server is not always good, making me loading during a fight from time to time. The program has a glitch that sometimes it does not recognize the card you select despite pressing on it (another card would work), which is frustrating. Very GoodI’ve played a lot of Gatcha/summoner and a few card versions mixed in, and this one is pretty good, ALOT of story which more me is meh, I like the summoning, team building and playing. The animations for all the characters, skills, enemies, and cutscenes are genuinely impressive. I even found myself rushing through the story just to see the enemy animations in action. The art style of Chaos Zero Nightmare is also beautiful and fits the tone of the game perfectly. My only gripe is with the character designs. A majority of the combatants, and partners characters are highly suggestive. It’s not just a few revealing designs — it’s almost the entire cast. The gender ratio is also heavily skewed toward female characters. While that’s not inherently a bad thing, it’s something to keep in mind if the harem-style presentation isn’t your preference. What stands out even more is that the suggestive nature doesn’t extend to the male characters — there are only five male combatants out of twenty-five total. I also checked the game’s official website and noticed even more upcoming characters that haven’t been added yet, and almost all of them are scantily clad women as well. I liked this gameBut the grind is unreal. I farmed the first season and maxed everything out in chaos and whatnot. Just to have to do it again… old seasonal decks don’t carry to new seasonal content. Which would be fine if it didn’t require so much farming. Even with the items they have added to let’s say select epiphany, auto weekly chaos runs. They then add sortie which is another end game event that reset seasonally. Meaning that all of the buffs I just farmed to get via collecting resource, will go away. Thus making it where I cannot do end game content unless I continuously farm. And on top of that still needing to farm chaos runs to level that up to for the event stuff. Because the auto battler doesn’t really give resources for that. A fun game killed by terrible direction and farm hell. Worse than genshin in terms of how much time you will spend playing. And then there is people that will think, “you just don’t like the game to begin with.” Which then why would I write this? I just don’t want to farm the same dumb missions over and over again, and get farm gatekept out of the higher level stuff. Because I want to win, since I have a high level account with different characters built. Flaws can’t be overlookedThe core gameplay is solid for a StS clone, but there are quite a few major issues that get in the way of enjoying the game. For one, save data rewards from chaos (one of the major timesinks of the game) are limited by obscure mechanics that greatly reduce deckbuilding possibilities. In general, the amount of stuff you have to invest in to build characters is way too much (money, exp, promotion materials, potential materials, relics (!), and the aforementioned save data, not to mention partners and their own levelling) and the farming rewards are very stingy for the time and stamina you put in. The endgame content (hyperspace basin) is also uninspired slop copied from hoyo (a common theme) that does not take advantage of the deckbuilding nature of the game, rewarding only a handful of set playstyles i.e. the ones that can dps race the fastest; anything that relies on the enemy taking turns (such as counterattacks) or setting up for extended fights is inherently at a disadvantage. There are many other issues as well but these are the main ones, I hope they can all be addressed eventually so I can update my review. There are other roguelike card builder gachas out there but it’s not a super saturated market so it’s fine on that end. This game is mainly lacking in identity and falls short in every other way though. The menus are soulless and a copy paste of hoyoverse games. The gacha is similar. The themes of the game (supposedly very dark) are sabatoged by the refusal to dive deep into those dark themes. It’s like the game is actively avoiding its own world so it can be a hoyo copy paste. Really hate how little they are using the roguelike deckbuilder aspect of this game. There’s almost always just one way to properly build a character, and every other way is a direct downgrade. I want alternate ways to play characters that are still competitive. Endgame content is unbelievably stale and boring. There is so much you could do with what the combat is, but they choose to be another hoyo copy paste and further limit the viable comps by having specific turn limit missions. The game desperately needs more dedicated people coming up with ideas. It might be suffering from a bloated development team or over-involvement of upper management, because it is screaming to be what it’s not. One MASSIVE ProblemI really like this game. It is very fun and challenging. Promotion boss has a constant taunt ability that keeps you from attacking its allies, it deals aoe friendly fire to the enemies and when it kills an enemy it gets enraged.
