Too many adds nowI used to love that game and play it every day but recently they have chance the amount of mice you can get from watching an add from 5 to only one and have the puzzles set up in a way to make it impossible to finish within the allotted amount of moves without using an object (by buying it or watching an add) . Dishonest & DeceptiveI was really enjoying this game. It’s challenging enough to be interesting, but not something that I have to focus on. So I finally won one of the leagues and continued playing, and I noticed something very interesting. I reached the top slot and took a break to get something to drink and when I came back, there were suddenly two people ahead of me by 120 and 240 points exactly and there was someone behind me with my exact same score. As I continued to play, those three players stayed exactly in the same spots. The two in front were 120 and 240 points ahead and the one behind had my exact same score seconds after I earned it. So I stopped playing for several hours and went back and the same thing happened. This is now happened three times where I get to the top of the list and I’m 2500 to 3500 points ahead of everybody else on the list and between one game and the next suddenly there’s two players ahead of me and one right behind me with my exact same score. No matter how much I play they stay exactly in the same positions and I’ve got third place. At this point, it is blatantly obvious that these are not real players, but computer generated players that the system has created to prevent me from winning the league. I downloaded Hexa Away from the App Store on January 12, 2026, and started playing it right away. I really like the game, but I hate all the ads, so I paid the $9.99 to get rid of the ads. A lot of good it did me, however, because I'm still having to watch ads after EVERY SINGLE TIME!! Every single level!! I paid good money for the ad blocker!! As I said above, I really like this game. In fact, I love it. I have it on both my iPad, and my iPhone, and on my iPad I've reached level 522, and that's inspite of all the ads I've had to watch. As far as the ads go, I'm not interested in ANY of the things being advertised. NONE of them. All I want to do is play the game. That's why I paid the $9.99 to get rid of them!!! And the fact that you've ignored people's complaints and reviews regarding ads speaks ill of your company. (I saw another review on the App Store from someone who had the exact same problem as I have, and he said he'd paid the $9.99 and still had to watch ads. He said the game was a waste of money because of that.) You obviously don't care about your customers. Bugs with ads which are too longI paid for an ad-free experience, but in order to get anywhere in the game, you still have to watch ads for “rewards.” These ads can be 90 seconds long and often require you to close something and then wait another 13 seconds to close something else, then another 5 seconds for the X, which has to be hit precisely at the correct pixel or it will send you to a website outside the game to download something else. I dealt with that for long enough, but lately (even after a “bug fix” update), it doesn’t register that you watched the ad at all and prompts you to watch another ad for the reward you should have already earned. In addition, some of the levels are unbeatable without either watching an ad or using coins/bombs/hammers. They often repeat levels and try to make it seem different by orienting the level upside down and/or flipping it. Unfortunately they don’t account for any of the spinners’ directions and often you waste extra moves because the spinner doesn’t change its direction to match the orientation of the level. Almost always have to watch a commercial to keep playing.This would be an absolutely excellent game, except for one thing – almost every game you play, even if you make no mistakes at all, you are left with one tile that still needs to be moved, and you have to watch a commercial in order to move it. Impossible levelI already had very little respect for this as a puzzle game due to the overwhelming sentiment that winning is more important than solving the puzzle. This includes the consumables that can be used to break levels, the ability to watch ads to get extra moves, and streak bonuses and failure penalties to attempt to ensure you use those shortcuts. Then I got to level ‘403,’ a level with two three pronged spinners with one saw on each, and five redirect tiles that force almost every piece in the level to be dependent on one sequence. With five moves to spare, two are required to get the right saw into the position to break the central stalemate, two are required to get the left saw into position to destroy pieces that would otherwise hit the center of the spinner, and then another two are required to move the left saw back one position to destroy the next newly freed piece that the entire rest of the level is relying on. After that there are more pieces on the board than there are moves remaining, with no way of destroying more than one per move. I looked online for a solution, and while I did find two videos solving level 403, not only were they not the same level I had, but they weren’t the same as each other either. This means that the levels are either shuffled or procedurally generated, with the existence of an impossible level strongly implying the latter, since that would mean every level wouldn’t be individually tested. I normally don’t have a problem with this, but that assumes it’s stated up front, and also stable enough to never make something impossible. I could use one of the previously mentioned shortcuts, but the existence of one level completely requiring them means there could possibly be more, and in my opinion there’s absolutely no point to a puzzle game where it’s unclear whether or not there is a solution..Puzzle Game AppreciatorVersion: 3.0.0

It cheats! Big time!Everything everybody’s complaining about is true. The higher you go, the more difficult it is to clear a level. That said, I began counting the tiles and then comparing them with the number of moves that you have and sometimes you don’t have enough moves to remove all the tiles. So you’re stuck watching add after add just to finish the game. When I ended up spending more time watching the ads and I did actually play the game, it’s not fun anymore. Several times I just wanted to give up, but I do want to get that Honey chip. But it is truly one of the most aggravating games I’ve ever played. Don’t bother spending your points on those things that you need to destroy a tile or create an empty space. They cost at least 2000 points for each one and I ended up blowing through 40,000 points in less than an hour. also, it totally cheats. Not enough helpI meant to get Hexa Run, a similar game. At least there are people to answer emails there. Hexa Away has no “support”. All the links lead to the developer’s page, and it’s all in Japanese. I give it 2 stars since I managed to play up to level 70. There are a lot of ads. The game freezes sometimes. The Bomb and Drill cost coins, the Hammer costs an ad. The drill removes a tile so the hex pieces can fall into it. The black tiles will become available once the number on them counts down to zero. The Bomb must go on an empty tile. Click the avatar to edit the avatar and frame color. Click the pencil to edit the name. On Mac there is no cursor in the name field, just click there and start typing. On Mac, the scrolling doesn’t work quite right in the Avatar and Frame choices. When you play an ad to get double rewards, time spent watching an ad counts towards your 10 minutes. But you can watch another and get another 10 minutes. How ‘bout those ads, y’all?This game wins the prize for the least amount of time residing on my phone. Between levels 1 and 14, there were four, count ‘em, four ads. Given that most of the levels last ten seconds or less, I spent more time watching ads and waiting for the double arrow and x to appear than I did actually playing the game. Too bad because it’s a great idea, a different take on the Hexa-flip type puzzles which I recently discovered. The top of each stack is labeled with an arrow, which means that stack can only leave the board in that direction when all other obstacles—the other stacks in that row— are removed. Very cool, and I imagine if you want to pay to have ads removed (I don’t), it’s definitely addictive. It’s difficult to get addicted when your attention is diverted every 30 seconds or less. I’ve played tons of ad-supported games, and still play most of them, because the ads aren’t obnoxious in quantity and are easily and quickly dismissed. Fun but…It’s great for the first day of playing then, ADS! Ads for enough hammers to smash one tile, one hammer per smash so you can move one more tile then you only get like 28/9 moves even though the game starts with 30 plus tiles THEN you only win the car race like 4-5 times then NEVER again! Typical But DisappointingMy first impression was positive, I downloaded the app less than an hour ago and got through 10 levels before an ad popped up. I was happily surprised that the game wasn’t horrifically riddled with ads. I was immediately proven wrong. After the first ten levels it tried giving me an ad after every level! They obviously don’t allow airplane mode because they want you to pay to get rid of the ads. They also try to convince you to watch even more ads for unneeded bonuses! You want me to pay real money for this low effort game??? Pro tip- I noticed when you open the game it lets you play 2 games before an ad pops up. So I’ve been closing it after every two games to make it slightly more manageable. So far, the game has been ridiculously easy, it takes me only about 8-15 seconds to complete each level (even the “very hard mode” lol). Geometrically incorrectHexagons have a total of 720°, and in this case 120° per angle. For a hexagon to slide past another hexagon it would need to move exactly perpendicular to the adjacent hexagon, or 90°. The arrow on each hexagon is wrong (sometimes or doesn’t matter if there are no other hexagons near it). The arrow needs to point to a point on the hexagon, or 30° different from what is shown. To see this look at the game logo (the picture on the AppStore). The bottom yellow hexagon can not freely slide past the green hexagon if it travels in the direction of the arrow. It would push on the green hexagon and be prevented assuming that there is friction. If the arrow were drawn 30° more clockwise on the yellow (towards the point), then traveling in that direction is uninhibited. This game won’t be more or less difficult by picturing the arrows correctly, but it won’t seem like it was written by a high school drop out that makes a game that is all about motion and direction and puts the arrows on the hexagons incorrectly..Just_Jack_AtlVersion: 2.4.0

Bait and SwitchYou can happily play this game and try to match your wits and get better at it for months, but at some point and at regular intervals they throw in a bunch of bells and whistles, noise and chaos, and every move costs you about six times what it would cost you previously and you can never win a game. I don’t know what they’re thinking, but they’re pretty stupid if they think that this makes anyone happy. Also, after you’ve watched 10 minutes of free ads in order to get a move or two, the app will seize up on you; and it does this most especially after you’ve spent coins. So, you have to start the game all over again, having last not only time but coins. It ceases up every three games and always at the very last moment when you have and I’ve watched videos for 10 minutes, so you basically wasted all that time and then you have to start over . Ads Free is a ScamI’ve been playing this game since almost a week now. I decided to buy the ads free because I loved it but I started experiencing glitches and troubles right after. Some of the glitches happens in the middle of the game, where I have to restart, reducing my number of game play. Then I’m forced to watch ads to add more game play. The glitches are so bad that if I’m listening/watching something while playing, it would stop everything, shut off my phone for a few seconds, prompting me to restart it. I also agree with other reviewers about the limited amount of moves, and would stop you even when you still have other moves you can play. It’s like scamming people. I’m stuck on level 110, where they set up the moves to be almost impossible, and the moment I use my tools to create other moves, it glitches and shut me out. My rating changes when the game changesI first rated this game 1 star because they initially took away the ability to start over with one tap. I changed my rating to 5 stars when they brought back that functionality. But mid-event, they changed the rewards for certain ranks and changed the coin rewards for the milestone rewards from 60 and 40 to 20, while increasing the cost of 💣 and hammers from 600 to 1400 and 400 to 1200. PLUS, they changed the overall rewards based on ranking, in the middle of the event, so now only the top three players earn anything decent and only the top ten players earn anything at all. Being able to solve the puzzles quickly was relaxing and helped my autistic brain. Fake Leaderboards and repeating puzzlesI really enjoyed this game starting out but it does have some annoying glitches. One that in the middle of a game it will take you to an online ad. Another is the fake scoring. Like others has said the leaderboards are bogus with 2 leaders ahead of me and after every game I play the spread stays the same and it doesn’t matter when I play the scoring is the same. Too ExpensiveFirst and foremost, this is a fun game that tests your logic and patience. Sadly they break some of the basic rules of games delivered thru apps: for some of the boards, there is no solution unless you use one or more of the tools that, of course, you mostly have to pay for with coins that, you guessed it, are available for purchase. You do win coins but not at nearly the same rate that you have to spend them. Then, after completing almost 200 levels (playing by their rules) I couldn’t proceed unless I spent more coins to do so. Misleading and deceptiveThe game starts out being fun and entertaining. That is until you hit level 34 where it is impossible to win just using your intelligence and skill. FrustratedI am surprised by the number of reviews I’ve read that give this app 5 stars yet they have the same complaints as me. Namely, the ads are too numerous and too long. I paid $10 to avoid ads and yet the puzzles seem to be designed so that they are virtually impossible to solve without paying, by watching an ad, to get help. I agree that it is VERY irritating when adverts jump to my web browser. What is likable is that the puzzles are challenging—not too easy. Ad, no more moves bugThere is a bug where if you can’t move any hex pieces, but you can move the spaces, it will not allow you to solve the puzzle. It will just think there are no more moves left and it will display the message, ending the level. I can solve the puzzle but it won’t let me because the app thinks it’s impossible. This is very frustrating and has happened at least 4 times. I’m 4 moves away from solving the puzzle but because the app is not programed to watch space moves, it thinks it’s impossible. Please fix. Fun Game, But It Gave My Phone a Virus!I really wanted to like this game. The concept is fun, and the levels are pretty entertaining, but the constant interruptions completely ruin the experience. Every time I get into the middle of a level, the game suddenly redirects me to an external browser. It always takes me to one of those sketchy sites claiming my phone has detected a virus and that I must download some shady app to “fix” it. It’s painfully obvious these are scammer sites, and I’m shocked that a game would allow these kinds of ads to run. Unfortunately, things went from annoying to horrible. Just from the browser being opened repeatedly, my phone actually did end up with a virus. It started lagging like crazy, crashing constantly, and apps that used to work fine are now glitching. Even after trying to clear my browser data and running a virus scan, the damage was done. I’ve seen a lot of games with annoying ads, but this is on a whole different level. It’s irresponsible and unacceptable for a developer to expose users to harmful sites like this.
