Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp C Positive Reviews

So much better and so cute !!I am a former ac:pc player and a couple months ago i found out that it shut down. [well, i remembered it shut down a couple days ago!] i saw this game and i thought it looked fun!! so i downloaded it. its the same exact experience as the original ac:pc was, but it has NO PAYWALLS!! im so happy about that, because it was a little annoying when there was that subscription in the original one. and now you can just buy it in one single purchase [10 dollars is a bargainnnn] for it! im actually really happy that nintendo decided to make it be no paywalls, because paywalls are annoying tbh— anyways, the game also LITERALLY THROWS leaf tickets [leaf tokens now? they changed it lol] at you! the tasks that the game has gives you so many leaf tokens. and im also really excited about that because i used to struggle a lot in the original ac:pc to get fortune cookies because it was hard to get leaf tickets [tokens now lol]. and i ABSOLUTELY LOVE fortune cookies!!! anyways, i went to shovelstrike quarry to get 20 LEAF TOKENS from the task for going to it!! also, the villagers are just as cute as they were before, they will always be adorable! :3 so yeah! 10 dollars is so cheap for all of this amazing stuff!! im super happy that nintendo made this decision to make ac:pc be even better. thanks nintendo!!! :D.Version: 7.1.1

I miss some old features & I wish to add a new oneBefore it became “complete” we had other human campers around too we could shop from or add to our friends and also visit their campsites and help them in their gardens. That’s gone now and I’m bummed about it. I miss being able to explore and share and buy things from others. It would be cool if we could buy furniture and clothes from them too if the features ever came back. Another one is buying more tickets when they are gone. I run out of tickets so fast and I feel like the golden “complete” tickets are so sparse. I really miss being able to purchase from inside the app. I miss also having Lottie challenges that either went with the event or cookies released in that time. Also in the Whistle Pass I was under the impression that we would be able to decorate and modify that too, but unfortunately we can’t and it’s bland. One new thing I wish you guys would add is to have animals on each floor of the cabin. Like 8 slots per floor. That way we can have more friends staying and using up the space we work so hard to decorate. I would like to add this idea to the camper too with maybe 2 characters per floor there as well :) oh and give us the option to buy treats! I love leveling up my characters! Basically, I wish you guys would bring back all of the old stuff as well and add to it. Cause I was under the assumption that “complete” meant everything we already had and then some. Please and thank you! <3.Version: 7.1.2

Just OkMore taken away than added, Whistle Pass is cute and it’s nice to see the friends we once had and receiving a gift a day and 2 attempts at shovel strike quarry. Unfortunately everyone who said good bye in their names before the online game ended sill always have that name. Shovel Strike Quarry should offer maps instead of crafting material, most ends up getting sold instead of excess going into the mailbox. What happened to My Nintendo points? Why was the HH for Events and Fortune Cookies taken away? Why weren’t the empty spots where friend’s campers were filled with a couple trees. Why can’t the Friends at Whistle Pass give the fruit we did not get, the lemons, grapes or lychee or this trees given to everyone while filling up the empty spots? The first Garden event, only a few flower seeds were given, not like before, had to buy seeds several times. Since there is no competition between friends during the fishing tourney, why can’t the golden pole be purchased instead of rented? After 6 of the 7 years I’ve played this game, I would rather see more crafting supply maps than bells/mega bells maps. Understandable there may be new players or some who played online may have started fresh but for those who just continued the bells maps really aren’t needed while the crafting materials are to send off Gulliver’s Ship would be used more. Also all auto trek of the maps should have the ability to be purchased with bells. I can see this game getting boring fast like the other versions..Version: 7.1.1

I love it even more than the original! :)I started playing the original Pocket Camp game in 2022, and I’ve been playing it until it was discontinued. I loved the original one- it was like the mainstream Animal Crossing games, but on your phone. The only downside with that one is that some cool features such as picking a camp caretaker and picking extra fortune cookies was something you had to pay for monthly. Well, in this new version, all of the monthly subscriptions are included in the game! I like this game even more than the original because there is so much more to do! The special currency (it was leaf tickets, now it’s leaf tokens) is now much easier to get compared to the original, so you can buy more things. For example, I always had about 20 leaf tickets at a time, but now I have 400 leaf tokens! Some things I’ve always wanted to do in the original was change my camp theme, have a camp caretaker, and get more special furniture without having to save up for months. I can do that now and it makes me so happy! Overall, I really really love this game and I love the new features! I would recommend it to anyone who loves cozy, relaxing games where you can decorate and talk with animal friends! It is definitely worth the money! Thank you for taking the time to read this :) ✨.Version: 7.1.1

GoodHonestly, this is so nostalgic and it’s really fun. It does have a lot of reading so for the younger people who wanna play this make sure you pick the right things. If you have an adult with you have them read it for you. It’s really kid friendly and you can pick your outfits and it’s teaching you different stuff. You can collect different things like outfits to fishes too furniture. You can also customize your character to their eyes to their name, although I’m having a little trouble with trying to change the eyes and the name it said later in Settings, I can change it. I can’t really find the settings. That’s my one big question. There’s also this thing called a caretaker and you get to pick the character who care takes your campsite while you’re away they earn new points. If you don’t enter into the game, they take care of it for you. No need to worry. You can also invite these other friends. I’m not sure if you can invite IRL players. but there’s definitely these animal characters in the game you can invite and have friends over. You can also get a fortune cookie and collect furniture. Going to stop there. There’s way more but I want you to discover it. Just know this game definitely is a 10 out of 10. I’m not being modest..Version: 7.1.2

Every Game Should Be Like ThisI was quite literally lamenting over the quiet death of complete paid games, every single game either has in app purchases or you just can’t play without being bombarded with ads. AS SOON AS I SAID THIS Pocket Camp announced that they were releasing a complete, paid app. Bravo, first off, what an amazing game from the very start. I’m so glad you guys made this change and I’m excited to see what comes next. Leaf tokens are so much better than tickets, and they make the game so much more accessible for people who just wanna play a game without throwing money at it. If I could change a few things, it would be this; I’ve always wished there were more actual perks to leveling up friendships beyond 15. Like the ability to maybe craft more special request furniture, maybe in variations? Also, maybe you guys could add the ability to customize and design in the spaces on the islands where other players and their campers used to be? Regardless, this is a perfect game and other mobile games should take note. This is the only mobile game I really play. I recommend it to everyone I know, ESPECIALLY now that it’s a one time purchase! Thank you Nintendo!!!.Version: 7.1.1

Great game, but there are bugsI have had the free one for a long time so when i saw this was coming out, i was excited and i like a lot of the new features. everything's not hidden behind a pay wall, leaf tickets are easier to get, and so on. but there a bug i am experiencing where i can click on all my animals, except the one thats my helper!! its been going on for a few days, sometimes it lets me but it hasn’t in awhile, i cant even talk to my helper if i wanted to because it just pulls up the left striped loading screen but it never loads. i cant click on him, i cant click on the book itself, it will not load either way so my helper hasn’t been able to do what he is meant to do because i cannot gather his collected items. i think this should be looked at! its the only issue i keep encountering, everything else is great! the characters, clothing and furniture, events! i definitely recommend this game, i find it to be funner than new horizons, but i hope they fix this issue. edit: with events, you can usually give a gift to your favorite animal. my favorite animal is also my campsite helper, i have not been able to interact or change my campsite helper which is very frustrating, i hope this gets looked at soon!.Version: 7.1.1

Almost perfect but lacking for the priceThis game is definitely better and less money crazed than the previous game but still deleting everyone’s progress and reuploading the game and forcing the free to play players to pay for it is still wrong. And the game is still lacking for the 20$ price tag. The graphics could have been improved and there are many other flaws that need fixed. Like materials. It is almost impossible to keep materials like wood, cloth, and etc stocked up so it is impossible to craft items. The market used to be a good way to get these and fruit that doesn’t grow on your island, but now it has been removed from the game. Also we need to change the fortune cookie system because it takes way to long for them to refresh the stock. Like change them out every day instead of having them on there for days to a week. I don’t care about these holiday items and it annoys me that there is no way to get furniture I want to try to get without having to use a seasonal ticket. Just make the cookies refresh daily. But other than these things the game is flawless. So I would still say it was worth the money since it is way easier to afford everything that would have taken thousands of leaf currency to get in the previous title..Version: 7.1.2

The Perfect Way To Handle A Legacy TitleI played the original and was very upset to hear it was going to be removed. I thought that meant it would be gone forever, and all of my efforts in that game would’ve gone to waste. When I realized that this title would be going out in its place as an offline replacement for the original, I jumped on it. There are absolutely NO micro transactions besides the base price of the game - that’s it. It’s incredibly easy to get the replacement premium currency too, and it seems like there will be game updates to this one as well. This makes the title extremely F2P friendly if you can afford the games base price, and the way they handled being able to get older items is genius. No matter when you started the game, or if you’re starting right now, every item from the last 7 years is obtainable, which is so fun and exciting, and opens doors for a lot of creative decorating. I hope there continues to be updates on this one every once in a while, but this game is near perfect the way it is now, and I’m grateful for the chance to continue enjoying this game. 100% worth the money..Version: 7.1.1

DevastatingI let my niece watch videos on my phone about 3 days ago, when I got it back she had deleted this game and I ended losing the last nearly 6 months of progress when I redownloaded it. The backup file it redownloaded was from when I transferred from the original pocket camp to this one. So instead of being level 200 with a bunch of level 15 animals and the thousands of leaf tickets I spent of event items, I’m back to level 167 with hardly any level 15 friendships and event items. Not to mention I’ve lost most of my bells and leaf tickets now as well. Literally every day for 6 months that I’ve played this game and I have nothing to show for it anymore. So if anyone reads this, don’t be like me and make sure you go in and save backups because I can’t get anything back without having to restore my phone itself from my phones last backup and that requires me losing progress on other apps too then. I’m literally so devastated that I spent my hard earned money on this game and spent so much time and effort and now I’ve lost everything from when I first transferred my save file. It’s so heartbreaking that this could happen all because the game doesn’t store backups of your progress when it saves for you, so either go in and manually save backups or just don’t ever think about deleting this app whether on accident or on purpose. I spent $10 to buy this game and other people have spent $20 and we can’t have backups automatically saved for us for this specific reason? It’s so devastating that it makes me not even wanna play the game anymore but like I played for 7 years on the original and it just feels wrong if I stop playing now. I guess I should at least be glad I didn’t lose 7 years of progress and instead only lost 6 months..Version: 7.1.2

Likes and Suggestions for ImprovementI like a lot of the changes that they made to this one compared to the original one. I like how after you pay the fine, there is no longer any other fees you have to worry about (no in-app purchases) including monthly/annual subscriptions. I like how you can play offline. Lastly, I like how they made things bought with leaf tokens (premium currency) cheaper so I can afford more and it is easier to earn tokens. Suggestions: When trying things on when crafting (the preview), I could look through the items already in my inventory instead of having to cancel the preview and try those shoes on with the outfit I want to try it on with and possibly purchase. Then have to go back to the preview and try those clothes on again. I wish there was a separate saved set for campground and another one for cabin. Inceased the number of clothes you can save from custom designs and saved outfits to 50, 20 is clearly not enough for all the clothes and outfits I want to save..Version: 7.1.2

I really like it, BUTThe app is a great little finale to Pocket Camp, and I appreciate that we were allowed to keep playing this way despite the team moving on. Lots of changes are great, like opening the catalogue and making rewards like special items and cookies able to be earned. However, I hope the updates aren’t completely over, because the app feels like it desperately needs a few tunes in order to sustain itself. Friend powder, namely, was a resource earned from interacting with other camp managers— now that the social aspect is over, the only way to earn friendship powder (after the stretch goals are inevitably finished) is the occasional chance gift from an npc friend. Considering Bell maps still require lots of friendship powder, as does the game at O.K. motors, the scarcity makes it so players cannot do any of those things for a VERY long time. I had low friendship powder on account of using a lot for bell maps towards the end of Pocket Camp Complete’s predecessor, and now I am watching it crawl higher at a snail’s pace. Since social aspects are no longer available and gifts are randomly generated and infrequent, PLEASE add another way to consistently earn friendship powder!!!!!.Version: 7.1.1

Key aspects of the game are buggyI’ve really enjoyed Pocket Camp Complete so far, it’s everything you want in an Animal Crossing game condensed into a mobile port. I’ve been playing daily since launch and absolutely love this game, HOWEVER, and this is a big however, a key part of the game is annoyingly buggy. Camp customization. I have perfected my camp exactly how I want it, saved it in my presets, and moved on to a new area to do daily missions, and when I come back to my camp, random items from my inventory litter my camp that I didn’t put there. This wouldn’t be an issue normally, but it happens *LITERALLY* every time I leave my camp and come back, regardless of saving my layout. Needless to say, a large part of why people play Animal Crossing is because of the customization, and unfortunately they’ve missed the mark here. Your camp WILL NOT SAVE HOW YOU LEFT IT, NO MATTER HOW MANY TIMES YOU SAVE. I absolutely despise having to go into Customization mode every time I move to my campsite to remove a random bed or flower pot that’s randomly spawned in, blocking my path. And I have to do it EVERY time, without fail. For the love of god Nintendo, FIX CAMPSITE SAVING. It’s one of the largest selling points of your game and it doesn’t even work..Version: 7.1.1

Love the new version!I think that like most everyone I was very upset that AC pocket camp was ending. I wasn’t even sure that I would buy this app but I have always been fond of the developers ideas. I couldn’t be happier honestly! You can get SO much more with this version. I keep discovering new and exciting things at every turn! In pocket camp I would see tons of stuff that I wish I had the leaf tickets to buy. I would save leaf tickets and get one or two things I could afford. But with this new version there are so many customizations you can do! From the planner, the van, the fortune cookies, unlocking premium items that I could only dream about! Whistle pass is cute as well and it’s nice to see some familiar faces. I love that there are still going to be events that keep the game exciting. Kudos to the developers for once again giving me things that I couldn’t even dream of! I’m so happy that I bought this game and it was 50% off too! Thank you!.Version: 7.1.0

About ‘Complete’ Version UpdatesI have had this app since it came out and I love it so much. I have always played animal crossing but I love that the mobile version is unique to the game in so many ways, has such unique furniture selections with the cookies, the way you interact with villagers, your tasks, and so much more. However, some of the updates I was hoping to get with this new complete version I feel were actually taken in the opposite direction. For example, I was really hoping to see more integrated real-time multiplayer features, instead of having online play be taken away all together. I like the idea of having the option to play off-line, however, I really would’ve loved to see a more optimized version where you would be able to play with your friends at your campsite in real time. I also really liked the aspect of being able to share pictures of your campsite with other players as well. My favorite part about the update is how much more accessible leaf tokens are than leaf tickets initially were, it really makes gameplay so much more fun and accessible..Version: 7.1.2

Great game with one huge draw backI was never a fan of the original pocket camp because of all the grinding and micro transactions, but I love the complete version! It is much easier to earn items and leaf tokens (it turns out that having everything in a game available and not behind a paywall makes the game more fun!) The one major drawback of this game though is there is NO social aspect so if you buy this in hopes of being able to see your friends, campsites, send them gifts, or interact with other players in any way you will be very disappointed because you can’t do any of that. All you can do is collect their qr codes in order to get into the quarry and you will see their avatars at KK Slider’s shows. I see people say “maybe in an update they will add social features”, but I wouldn’t hold out on that because it seems like the game is complete (like the title says) and if there are any updates it would likely be for bug fixes and performance not adding new features… but otherwise this is a very cute and fun game!.Version: 7.1.1

Almost better but it’s a flop! :(This game is my favorite and I’ve been a subscription member for 3 years! I am sooo disappointed they took the features of visiting other players campsites, hearting pics and sending stickers and gifts away.. I really feel so bored playing this game now 😥 there’s not much “new” or exciting things to look forward too. I like that the tokens are easier to get and easier to get new items, but it’s almost too easy? Maybe better for some other players though, but I just don’t like how there is nothing much to look forward too. I like the custom clothing feature but you can only get codes from other players who have the horizon game. You can’t make your own clothes or designs on this one like I thought. And on top of that, it’s really annoying that a lot of codes I wanted to use aren’t “supported” on this version, and you can only have 20 clothes and 20 furniture but almost no furniture is supported. I never write reviews for apps but I had to for this one, I REALLY hope you fix this by AT LEAST bringing back the social aspect of this game!!.Version: 7.1.1

Loving it!As someone who used to play the original Pocket Camp (but was free to play), I was blown away immediately. The game still has it’s original feel, sure there’s no more online, but to me it’s convenient for the times where I might not have access to the internet for whatever reason. The game at least so far seems much more generous with the leaf tokens compared to the leaf tickets, I was able to get so much stuff, from permanently upgrading the craft times, to buying a few fortune cookies and getting stuff I wanted, to buying some clothes from the shop. To anyone new, there’s no micro-transactions here, once you buy the game, that’s it, you get all the content. I actually find this better than the original in that aspect, it’s cheaper too, compared to paying a monthly subscription for all the extra stuff like the planner pack. In short, I believe the price was so worth it, and I’m having an amazing time..Version: 7.1.0

Love it BUT. . .The whole social aspect is removed. I enjoyed buying and selling items to friends, sending them gifts, and posting stickers on their photos. Please bring this back! Or add a patch that allows you to actually interact with your friends besides the same old reactions they give you at Whistle Pass. I can’t even visit their camps anymore. What is the point of doing all the work to build your camp when your friends cant come by and visit to enjoy it with you??? Other than that I love this game. And very pleased at how every action I do in this game isn’t a micro transaction with real money anymore like the original Pocket Camp was. The Micro transactions of the past game made it draining and stressful at times. This should be a COZY game meant to bring people together in a fun way. allow more social interactions, allow other campers can visit or even stay at your cabin, allow your own animals to visit other players, SOMETHING should be done to make it less isolating and boring. Please bring back more ways to have interactions with friends!!!.Version: 7.1.1

How fun it isI’ve played this game nearly my whole life almost this is a very fun game. I can’t stop thinking about it every day after school I do stuff and then whenever I finish school I’m like I play this game every time this is a very fun game. I even play New Horizon sometimes I miss this game when it was old I just wish Imiss every day please make more of these animal crossing company also when it was my first time I never knew what to do so I love this game. My favorite character here is buck He’s a good character. I even have him on my camp caretaker menu. So please add more animal crossing games and also please make more new horizon games on mobile. Also this is a very fun game I played this game my whole life kind of when it was my first time it was like nearly 2 years ago now I’m in level 119 I won’t forget this fun game if it gets removed I’m gonna be crying till I’m 31 very fun game. I won’t forget it..Version: 7.1.2

Love this game so much!I love this updated version! First of all, it doesn’t need WiFi, makes finding friends more fun and interactive, and the new “camp caretaker” role gives your campsite a nice finishing touch. Leaf tokens are so much more convenient and easy to acquire, compared to the previous old game, it took quite a while to collect tickets to purchase an item. The one problem I do need to address is the camper cards. Yes, it does making finding friends online much more fun, but unfortunately, it’s not as easy to find people in your daily life who play this game, unlike going online and simply befriending a person there. Most of my in-game friends and people who have previously purchased “Animal Crossing Pocket Camp” have not bought the new version, therefore you cannot get camper cards from them. I have asked around many of my friends for camper cards, but none of them play this game/play this game often enough. I also don’t like the fact that you cannot have a shop and sell your items to people online. Adding on to that, the use of friends has definitely gone down, you can now only use them to travel to Shovelstrike Quarry, to obtain ores and minerals for bells. Overall, this game is great! Even though finding friends is a bit tougher, it still can’t compare to this game’s variety of things to make, do, and find..Version: 7.1.2

This game is pretty skibidiLiterally the same game but without the microtransactions and paywalls. The only negative is that there are no more online interactions, so you can’t really interact with other people. I know there are camper cards but it's still pretty much offline. However, I think it's a fair trade-off considering how cheap everything is. Items that used to cost like 300 leaf tickets (equal to probably like $20 which you didn’t NEED to buy with real-life money but they were a little more difficult to get for F2P players) only cost like a few Leaf tokens, and you can get those things super easily. It is REALLY easy. You can get them by doing goals, seasonal events, leveling up, etc. Basically, the same way you got leaf tickets but WAY easier and WAY more generous. Remember when fortune cookies cost like 50-leaf tickets?? They only cost 5 Leaf tokens now! Oh, and complete tickets are cool too, they basically let you exchange one ticket to get ANY item in the game, though those you gotta use more sparingly. I guess another issue is that this game is only getting ACTUAL updates for another year, and then it’ll start looping events (similar to Mario Kart Tour) but I guess we’ll cross that bridge later. Some people might complain that “Ohh this game is too easy now” But I honestly don’t care if is. The reason why I was never consistent with playing this game was the microtransactions and pay-to-win aspects. I would pick up the game, play for a few weeks or so, and then see how difficult it is and then quit for another year. So yeah, I don’t care if it's too easy. Like I bought 3 whole outfits like I'm shopping on Shein, something I’d never be able to do in the og version but here we are. Who knows though, maybe Nintendo is just spoiling us right now and a month from now will slap us in the face and make leaf tokens more harder to get idk. But overall this game is super sigma and I recommend it to all the Skibidi Ohio sigmas out there who wanna continue playing pocket camp, or start new! Yap sesh over, the Rizzler is out heh.. 😈.Version: 7.1.0

GREAT New Version!!I’m super pleased with this restructuring of the original Pocket Camp. I loved the old game, but the micro-transactions or special membership features became too pervasive and consistent; I felt like I was constantly being asked for money. A one-time payment is very much preferred, and now many of those features are available for everyone. The in-game “special” currency (the new leaf tokens) is given out generously, and used on many fun items, so I feel like there’s always something new for me to find. I also love having access to the full catalogs, so I have the option/potential to grab things I may have missed out on. Whistle Pass is also a fun (and beautiful) space where you can ask for quarry help (and you need far less people!). Also, if you play New Horizons, you can use your custom designs in the mobile game!! Thank you Nintendo for making a great game even better!!.Version: 7.1.0

Amazing! This game is great! I’m so thankful existing players were able to keep their save data. I miss getting to play with my friends a lot BUT there are so many great things about this game. I think the additional of Whistle Pass and the player cards are a good way to still keep connection to old pocket camp friends, I love getting to watch the K.K Slider concerts with them! I appreciate how affordable all the cookies and nice items that used to cost leaf tickets are. I love how easy it is to get leaf tokens. This really makes the game much more enjoyable! I finally get to have all the cute items and outfits I’ve ever wanted in this game. Overall, I think Nintendo did a really great job with this transition and I am so thankful to still be able to play the game I have loved for 7 years. This game is absolutely worth buying if you like animal crossing..Version: 7.1.1

Love, but Miss Player ConnectionI love the new Pocket Camp! Things are way more attainable and it was worth the $10! My only dislike is that you can no longer visit friend’s camps and interact with them. I do like that you have a pool of people to request mining help from at any time, but it’s not as fun when you’re all alone! My sister won’t buy the new version because she doesn’t really care to play unless we can interact with each other. Having the ability to visit friends has always been one of the highlights of Animal Crossing, and I really hope that they find a way to bring that into this new version. It would be so fun to have fishing and bug catching competitions using a timer and to visit campsites! With it being an app, it would also be super easy to message each other real time. I really hope this is something we can look forward to seeing down the road!!.Version: 7.1.2

Good game, horrible lagI played the live service version for 5 years, so there’s plenty of things I love about this game. I like a lot of the changes they’ve made, especially when it comes to items that used to cost money. However, some changes make no sense; why do we alternate between a whole month of recycled events and a whole month of new ones? It means longtime players have nothing to do all month unless they just want a bunch of duplicates. Why not mix it up and have every month be a blend of old and new, so everyone has something to look forward to? I’ve also found that load screens, freezing and lagging are significantly worse in this version, which I don’t understand, since it’s offline. It will lag and the music will start skipping, and I’m just trying to walk around. There’s no reason it should be like that when it’s now a $20 game..Version: 7.1.2

HmmI love the game but i miss the ability to like peoples photos and reviving likes i also wish u could have the ability to buy leaf tokens i'm bored and i want to spend money i know that's a bad excuse but..... still also wish u sold promo items or something idk i also like how everything's inadvertently cheaper then the original i mean come on 5 tokens for a cookie or 25 for 5 that's a steal lol but is a trap because once u complete all the missions u have to wait a whole month to get more missions for tokens or to " trade" i like the helpers thing is cute i choose Tex as my villager helper you can only pick the ones u unlocked by leveling up or the ones u met or ur own villagers also i was hoping the island would be bigger is still the same size or i wish we could explore other islands there are so many cute items i wish i could decorate more overall kinda a cute game ....... i wish u got more islands or stuff or can explore more.Version: 7.1.1

So much better!I’ve literally never written a review before but i love this game so much i just had to. after the original version of pocket camp, i wasn’t expecting to enjoy this game as much as i do but WOW. it’s everything i loved about the game but BETTER! if you played the old version, you know how tedious the micro transactions were without a subscription. obviously this game isn’t free, and while i did pay the launch price of only $9.99, i definitely got my money’s worth with the amount of content/features we received—even if i paid $20. with the paid version of the game you now have access to EVERYTHING. i can get all the special items/clothing/cookies i want without having to pay an additional fee! it’s truly limitless now, which is amazing given how much i’d need to buy leaf tickets in the old version. the leaf tokens that replaced the tickets are not hard to come by and there are still new features + items available every day, week, and month! you even get to appoint a camp helper, which was previously a subscription-only feature, and it makes things much less time consuming if you have a busy lifestyle and aren’t able to check in on your campsite as often as you’d like. of course i wish there was still an online aspect so you could send gifts and see what your friends have been working on, but you can add each other’s camper cards and use your friends for help with the quarry! as someone who’s played all of the animal crossing games (except amiibo festival…iykyk), i really appreciate this new version of the game. without the micro transactions it feels much less…insulting? LOL regardless of the price, i definitely recommend this game. i genuinely enjoy it more than the old version—thank you for listening to us nintendo <3.Version: 7.1.2

Obsessed!I absolutely love this game. I probably played every day for a year. I love that there’s always new challenges, furniture, etc. I also love that there’s no ads or in-app purchases (spending the $10 on this game is worth it). I only have one issue and I wish I could reach out to make a suggestion - you have 20 slots to save your different camp set ups. I stopped playing because I have no more space to save new camps. I’m supposed to delete old ones, but at this point, they’re all carefully curated and special to me. I hope this game will come out with an update with more slots to save different layouts so I can continue to collect new furniture and be creative… I would even pay for additional save space! However, the average player probably won’t run into this issue 🤷🏽‍♀️.Version: 7.1.2

Love it so much, I bought a Switch!AC Pocket Camp Complete was my first experience with Animal Crossing. After playing it for about 4 months, I was having so much fun and enjoyed it so much that I was drawn into investigating the rest of the Animal Crossing world. After just a short time with this game, I bought my first Nintendo. I couldn’t even wait the short time for the Switch 2 to release, I had to have my Switch 1 asap! Now my biggest problem is dividing my free time between AC Pocket Camp Complete and AC New Horizons! (Harder than you think! 😅) The only things I would want to improve are allowing the animals to recognize and celebrate your birthday, and adding a continuous backup option, such as iCloud or something similar. This game is far too valuable to risk losing, I would be devastated! THANK YOU FOR MAKING THIS GAME!.Version: 7.1.2

Great gameThis game is obviously the same as the original game but they fixed a ton of stupid things in it for example, instead of the pay to win leaf ticket system you now have leaf tokens which you get for leaving up and doing quests. They did remove the market box but you don’t need to wait to sell your items you can do it from your inventory quickly and easily. The 20$ is worth it for the amount of content you get. My only recommendations would be, new stretch goals, expand your campsite (and allow more animals on the larger campsite) and adding more islands or camps like what about a island that’s dedicated only to fruit and just has a ton of trees! But great game even though it’s kinda copy and paste good job Nintendo.Version: 7.1.1

Please bring back the friend interactionI’ve been playing the original pocket camp version with my daughter and husband for many years and we really enjoyed the relaxing feeling of the game. Our favorite part was to decorate our campsite RV and cabin and visit each other’s. It has been so many times that we came across some random strangers’ design and got entertained by theirs thoughts behind the decoration. We also enjoyed sharing bugs and accomplishing tasks together through sharing. However, all of that is gone and the maps feel lonely where others’ RVs are supposed to be. We decided to still buy this game because it has brought us so much great memories but really really hope that a future update can bring it back. The current friend interaction and flat cards are pathetic indeed. I will update to 5 stars when it happens. Please!.Version: 7.1.1

Basically the same thing, but it feels like lessWithout the online/wifi we can’t easily pass over data to another device, for older players who like and played the game that aren’t familiar 100% with tech (or more specifically settings) it may be harder for them to know how to pass over data to another device manually instead of automatically. Without the friends it feels a lot emptier too, even though the game has been recently released and won’t have everything from the other game I feel that friends were an important addition to the other game, especially with visiting other campsites, gifts and favorite photos. (Also, it would be nice to be able to remove the camper or move it in the campsite, it gets in the way of decorating. And most villagers or animals are too difficult to obtain, since most of them need to be found with Gulliver or maps.).Version: 7.1.0

Same game minus community aspect.I’ve been playing this game for many years and was very sad to see that it was going to be discontinued so of course I upgraded to the new app with high hopes, but was quickly disappointed to see that there is no community aspect to the game whatsoever. My friend’s list is gone, no gift giving, no visiting other players, nothing! Just big empty space where they used to be around the maps. I’m very sad about that. There’s not much of a difference from the old app from what I can tell right now besides the journal thing that I didn’t care much for anyways. I really hope they bring back a way to play with other people around the world like before, maybe better than before since this is supposed to be an upgrade from the old game. Other than that I’m just happy to still have the game and all my progress from years of playing..Version: 7.1.1

Cute Addition to Animal CrossingI’m a fan of the Animal Crossing games and have been playing Pocket Camp since the original came out in 2017. I’m thrilled that this version eliminates microtransactions and subscriptions, especially since most video games and media services are moving towards this model. I like the completion aspect of acquiring all of the furniture and clothes from fortune cookies and seasonal events. There are minor things that I wish were different. Namely, the Happy Home classes. I want to achieve the highest tier so that I can craft the royal crown, but it’s not possible since the class volumes have been reduced. Now, I’ll have to wait until the occasional Lottie’s class comes around. I can’t even take the fortune cookie classes, since those were eliminated too. What’s the point of completion if you can’t achieve every goal?.Version: 7.1.1

Huzzah, no more Paywalls!I tried playing the original Pocket Camp, and as cute as it was it was really hard for me to get into it because EVERYTHING seemed to be paywalled in one way or another. I understand that it’s the nature of mobile games, but here it just didn’t feel great, especially for an Animal Crossing game. While I will be forever jealous that New Horizons didn’t get the nice items that PC got, it’s nice to finally have everything in a complete package without having to worry about spending any more money. My biggest criticism (aside from the fact that you can’t interact with furnishings the same way animals can) is that saved data is not linked to iCloud/Game Center, so I can’t switch between my phone and tablet on the fly. I really think this should be changed, give us another means to back up our data!.Version: 7.1.1

Perfect except for lack of backupThe only complaint I have is not being able to backup your game the same way you can on the switch. You can do temporary backup if you need to switch devices but that’s it. it would be nice if you could back it up with your paid Nintendo account subscription even if it was something you manually had to do. Besides that, I love the game and play every day. Events are longer and easier than before so you don’t even have to play constantly to still be able to get all the content. if you enjoyed the first version of this game or if you liked, happy home paradise DLC for New Horizon’s then you would like this game. $10 is great price if you get it while it’s still on sale. $20 isn’t bad either imo but don’t wait if you don’t have too..Version: 7.1.1

Nintendo could add…I know Nintendo said they’d stop updating the app on a regular basis, and have the old updates recycle, but i wish we still had the market place. And within the market place you could not only sell and buy material, but you could buy and sell clothing items, and furniture. I love the apps features such as Whistle pass and daily gifts, i also love how if you didn’t have the gam before you can have another chance to get the event items, but i dislike complete tickets. I just don’t like it! No offense, but they’re a little harder to obtain, especially when you cant play the game a lot and have time to to the gardening, fishing tourney, and Gyrodite events. Other than that, Thank you for creating some of my most favorite games. (pocket camp, city folk, new leaf, new horizons, and mario kart❤️).Version: 7.1.2

Wonderful gameI recently got back into playing this game several months ago and it makes me so nostalgic!!! Only issue I have is that the max amount of saved sets and outfits is kinda low. Also are the Pokemon collaboration event items coming back in the near future? I wasn’t sure if the awnser was adressed publicly since Pokemon and Nintendo belong to the same company and hence bring such items back wouldn’t arise a situation like if you brought back hello kitty collab stuff for example. I love being able to coordinate outfits my campsite cabin and even my camper to special themes each month depending on the event active and since it’s July I’m going all out beachy and summer vacation vibes 🤩, Thank you so much for making this game amazing and putting in all the time to deliver us the last batches of new content..Version: 7.1.2

Amazing new game! Eh…but, a bit lonely now.I've been playing this game for 4 years and growing up with it as this game was everything on my device before I got into Roblox and such. Now, as if it's like a prize, you can get things much easier now! And I appreciate that, because playing the game, we do everything we'll do to get where we want to. Amazing feature…but, more lonely. Honestly, it's like NPCs! It was more social before, I mean, you couldn’t talk to anyone, anyway. But the liking photos, visits, and gifts and stuff! This game is real cool, but all that being removed just feels like taking some heart out of the body. It's really the only disappointment here….But I won't be so down on it yet, I think you guys would be able change sorts of things overtime. Thanks for reading :-:.Version: 7.1.1

This is way betterHonestly I liked the old game but i really wanted to be able to buy stuff without spending real money for the fact that it was expensive now that you guys did this I AM IN LONG WITH THE GAME I never could’ve able to buy all this stuff I finally got a few of the outfits I really wanted I’m so happy thank u pocket camp 🥰🥰🥰🥰.Version: 7.1.1

LonelyIt’s cool that it’s a one time purchase and that you can access all the features without any subscriptions. It’s easier get cookies and seasonal items. The downside is that you can’t interact with any other campers other than at Whistle Pass, and they’re just NPCs. You can’t visit their campsite or give kudos. Sucks to have access to a bunch of stuff and no one to share it with. Hope they will update this..Version: 7.1.1

It’s just okJust not the same without interaction between RL friends. Gift giving and market shopping was fun. I’m finding it hard to find things to do. I miss my friends, not sure I’ll play on a daily basis..Version: 7.1.0

I love Rosie smI love her..Version: 7.1.2

LOVE THIS GAME SMThere is some negativity but honestly I think people just always need to complain about everything, the multiplayer thing isn’t that big of a deal to me and no micros transactions is a game changer..Version: 7.1.2

Absolutely obsessedI’m a level 200+ player who has been playing since launch day. This game is essentially rewarding people for the several years it ran online. It eagerly hands out in-game currency, event rewards, and having access to the library of items 24/7 using tokens that are fun to acquire is so fun. The calendar widget is back, the friends-feature has been handled very delicately with cards, whistle pass and random help with garden events from players acquired by card-collecting…it’s everything I could have wanted from this app and more. Absolutely adore ACPC Complete and so glad I can keep playing for another 7 years. 💖.Version: 7.1.1

The update is greatI love the new version and also I a little bit confused when they charge me 15$ :)).Version: 7.1.1

I like itI wish we could visit friends and interact again. It feels a bit lonely compared to the free version. I love the graphics and the gameplay. And I really appreciate being able to keep my progress and the items..Version: 7.1.1

Please add these features! Please make a search function in complete item catalog or even in the shop! I love everything about what you guys did with the paid app- only complaints is id love a function to backup my save to Nintendo, maybe talk w friends twice a day instead of once to get gifts, and the search function. I also hope not every month is just full of the same shop items. I like the idea of it being extended but not a full month. I used to look forward to seeing new items every few days.Version: 7.1.1

Great job I love it!I love this game because it's so different than the other game animal crossing pocket camp now it has concerts? I love it so much. The technique is so awesome. I love getting new characters in this game and great job I love it. My name is Theodore and I am seven years old and my mom said that I could play this game. I love it is the title because that I wanted to give a review because that I wanted to tell you that I love Nintendo, thank you so much Nintendo.Version: 7.1.0

The old friend mechanics were much betterThe game is great but it’s such a shame that I can’t visit any of my friends camps or cabins anymore. Now, all I have is their friend card which does nothing. I also miss giving my friends kudos and reactions to their photos as well as sending them gifts and buying stuff from their market boxes. Overall, it’s kind of a let down since the old friend’s mechanics created a sense of community and it sucks that it’s gone now. I hope it gets added back..Version: 7.1.0

Absolutely adorableLiterally everything I’ve wanted from the original. As someone who’s played for years, I’m very happy with the new leaf token system.Version: 7.1.0

FunGreat game, no microtransactions.Version: 7.1.0

Love itYes it’s that good! uwu.Version: 7.1.0

The Greatest Rerelease EverThis rerelease fixes every problem about the original Pocket Camp, that being the micro transactions. Since it’s a one time purchase you get all of the old subscriptions for one standalone price. Some say it might be too expensive, but it’s way cheaper than buying all of the features separately. Personally I think that this is the right way to do a good mobile game, one purchase..Version: 7.1.1

Worth Getting despite no MarketI played a bit of the original game and it was very fun. It has all the content, including the paid content, just isn’t online anymore and there’s no market (which I kinda miss). But the items are adorable..Version: 7.1.2

The game makes me a little depressedThis new version makes me feel unmotivated. Every reward is 50 leafs and a majority of stuff only costs 10. I don’t feel motivated to work on the missions in this game anymore. I also dislike the fact that any way to interact with people was removed. It was always interesting to interact with people around the world without a language barrier but now I feel lonely =[.Version: 7.1.1

Really goodThere is a whole lot to do , lots of requests and things . One thing I still don’t get is how do you change your hair colour ? My real hair is blond but in the game it made it brown and I have NO idea how to change it ! If you don’t care about your hair that’s fine but I think they should change that . Also there are not many requests you can do and I want to do lots of those to get money , tools and lots of things to make clothing or furniture but you can only do a couple a day. It’s a great game for younger kids I would totally suggest this to them ! There is no inappropriate words or parts of this game , it’s very cute , and there is lots of ways to make your own world perfect for younger kids and your campers! I suggest this a lot it’s Awsome no ads one time payment and so fun!.Version: 7.1.2

App crashingThe game crashes during the loading.Version: 7.1.2

DisappointedI am disappointed they removed the multiplayer option. The best part was being able to interact with other users, exchange items and visit other camps. The game is much more repetitive without these options..Version: 7.1.2

Too smallWe should have the ability to expand the campsite size. It’s way too small, not fun to decorate when there’s so little space. It makes the game itself feel much smaller and shorter to play. Gets boring quickly.Version: 7.1.2

Fun game!I removed one star because i wasn't able to transfer my data from the previous free version and had to star over :-( I'm also a bit sad they removed the social aspect of the game..Version: 7.1.2

Super Cala fragile list stickThat’s my ditty. She’s a catchy tune! See you on the flip side, flapper!.Version: 7.1.2

I love it but it feels lonelyI love that’s there’s no longer real money expenses in the game, I love the game it’s great but I really do miss the friends feature where you could visit others camps and give/receive gifts, that was one of my favourite features and I hope it could possibly be added back in the future pleaseee 😞🙃.Version: 7.1.2

Love itIt’s so cute and nice ^^.Version: 7.1.2

Everything you needAnimal crossing pocket camp, such a valuable game, from october 2017 now to the big 2025. It feels insane to be playing this game on my phone after so many years. I remembered playing this game on my ipad for hours when i was a little kid. Although they now charge the game for 25 dollars, if ur an animal crossing fan this game is perfect for you..Version: 7.1.2

Evolved to successThanks to the offline gameplay which doesn’t require Wi-Fi most of the time, it truly feels like a portable game to you can play anywhere. If perfectly matches feeling of the DS, 3DS and Switch games. (I would include GameCube and Wii, but those are some consoles I don’t own and required to be plugged in FYI) Also, 50 Leaf Tokens when you level up is more generous that 10 leaf tickets in the old game Update: With my Wii Console working, I might want to try Animal Crossing: City Folk once I find a copy of the game Glad this app is a one time purchase to download on multiple Apple devices.Version: 7.1.2

Ruined the gameThe game is good, things are much more affordable but you took out the marketplace and the leaderboard with online players. Can’t there be an option for online too?.Version: 7.1.2

Hit on Ease of Collecting but Miss on Social InteractionsGame is easier to play without necessarily having to buy more tickets but it totally miss the social aspect of the game. I think the camper visits and photo album was what made this game unique and fun. WhistlePass hardly makes up for the lack of social aspects of it. They also took away the collaboration (i.e. Sanrio) collections which was the main reason why I purchased this app to begin with. Bring back all the collabs!.Version: 7.1.2

Best gameMy favourite game since 2017, it’s so nice to have the full game now and I play it every day. Totally worth it.Version: 7.1.2

Pocket Camping once againFinally I can come back and play pocket camp. Quit playing awhile ago and thought this game shut down but for $24.99 I can play it and all the dlc again ☺️.Version: 7.1.2

Had to buy twiceI love this game a lot, but after switching to apple, I had to buy it again :( just makes me sad idk.Version: 7.1.2

Best game in the world! This is absolutely the best game I ever played! It is cute, has my favorite things and is so good!.Version: 7.1.2

No more paying moneyUnlock the last game I can now get any piece of furniture. I want bigger or small with chest some timing dedication instead of having to pay money like in the last game big improvement(I am sad that they got rid of my Nintendo support to new horizons please bring back a new future update).Version: 7.1.1

Love it, but bring back some things.I love the completed version of this where it now lets me explore the full catalog of items and clothing, but I wish the market box function and the gifting function wasn’t taken away, it was incredibly helpful between friends when I or someone else who didn’t have an item for a request, the market place function was helpful in that regard and gifting amongst friends not only brought players together to let them know we’re still thinking of them during our journey but sometimes you or them would get a bonus fortune cookie and from the gift itself and it was heartfelt between friends to receive them, not to mention helpful in its own way. Please bring back the market box and gifting functions, these two things were amazing to have in the incomplete version. On an unrelated note please also bring the hello kitty/Kuromi collection into the complete item catalog, that collection was so cute and I’d love to see it. :).Version: 7.1.1

Lost everythingI downloaded this over 2 months ago and last night I had decided to delete it but I downloaded it again just to find that all the progress I made is gone, im using the same nintendo account but everything ive done these past 2 months is gone. I give up, not gonna do everything all over again..Version: 7.1.1

It’s a fun gameI got my first camper so i’m super happy and this is a great game.Version: 7.1.1

Better than the old oneI feel like this one is so much better because there are no longer annoying payments hahah, as well, it plays offline and is very handy for long car trips and such!!! Overall, I’m happy I got it before the price went up because I didn’t want to lose my old progress, so thank you nintendo for this.Version: 7.1.1
