A few small complaintsI remember when i was younger I had the older version of the game, where you had to pay for the extra boards and costumes. I remember feeling so annoyed i couldn’t get them… i got all the puzzles for the first world but never played again. Now I’m fufilling my old dream of playing them all. I’m doing it in order, though I have to complain about the tediousness of one puzzle. Growing your family. Getting married doesn’t count as growing the family, okay fine. But with each game lasting around 20 minutes (with all cpus on 5x speed) and when you dont get a baby/pet each game, it just takes so long! I have had this game for days amd have been playing almost nonstop, I must have sunk about 6 hours in already of just gameplay (albeit with me not paying attention and taking a bit to take my turn) and I haven’t completed the last puzzle. I must persevere though… is this what annoying millennials call healing your inner child? Anyway random person reading my review or a intern of the company or something I hope you have a good day. Also if I remember correctly you used to be able to name the cpus and now you can’t, what’s up with that? I used to have a lot of fun when I was younger naming them and styling them after my family members and friends who didn’t want to play with me. I really miss that feature! Good but…I love the game of life 2+ and I’m glad they added it to the App Store in the Apple Arcade but I wish I could play with my brothers cause there’s not really a way to play with my brothers and one of my brothers doesn’t wanna like pass and play so the only way we can play on our iPads is to wait to be 13 and that makes me sad because I wanted to play with my brothers and it’s like this. I have to wait until I’m 13 and that makes me sad so I know that they’re trying to keep younger kids safe but it’s just my friends I mean, I know them my brothers because I don’t have any friends with my iPad that I know of so I guess I can keep it that way but I don’t understand. I mean, I can keep multiplayer blacked out until they’re 13 but how come they won’t let you play with their friends until they’re 13 I mean they’re their friends I mean they know them if they’re friends so yeah I guess they can keep it the way it is if they want to, but it’d be nice if you could play with your friends and just make it so you they have to wait until they’re 13 to play multiplayer I think they should be able to play friends online or maybe they can add them to make it so they can do it off-line that would be nice too anyways that’s just my opinion if you can add more updates that be great thanks.Fox girl.Version: 1.0.2

My childhood game I used to play as a kidI’m glad to see a free version of The Game of Life 2. This is one of the best games I’ve played as a little kid I’ve grown up since but this game is still my child Hood I will play this every single day even if I’m a grown-up this game is the best and you get to choose what your life will be in the game like the original game. Not badI’m down to my last task - making 15 babies. Good game but frustrating & at times boring. So here are my thoughts to maybe enhance the game. Wish list: 1. Can we at least have some canned comments like in spades? Would make more interesting when you win something etc. 2. Update with more places to conquer. 3. More realistic life events such as divorce (w/monetary penalty), bankruptcy (before half way point - lose it all then work back up rest of way, donations to offset taxes, spin for addl houses & families with largest space you get nothing. 3. Why not have an option for single player to play 2,3 or 4 players. Same the live players - give option to only have 2,3 or 4 instead of having to hope 2 other players hit ready before a 4th shows up. Fixes: Crashes / freezes mid-game so far always on another player’s spin, very consistently gives notice no internet connect, gets stuck a lot when players are loading (almost always with one player to hit ready). Entertaining but some issuesI love that it’s taken the fun new twists to the board game and made it digital. I love that I can play against real and imaginary people as needed. I adore the different board themes and the collectable aspect. I do enjoy the game and have been playing it at least 1/2 an hour everyday since I got it. However. There are some issues. It’s almost impossible to grow your family. I’ve been able to add a child or pet 5 times and I’ve played over 30 games. Additionally, in the tutorial (why is it activated on every board? Why can’t you ask if it’s needed instead of assuming?) it states you need to pay back your loans or it effects your end game score. I have tried everything and looked for a help guide- there’s no instructions on how to do that. If you can’t pay it back before the end then maybe fix the tutorial..Zstar385Version: 1.0.2

I was trying to play with my mom like come on. Great Game! A few GlitchesHopefully the developers are reading these. This is a super fun game and I like that it takes as long as a regular board game to play. That said there are glitches - 1) there are spelling typos throughout, the one on the home page “collectibles” is spelled wrong and I cringe every time! 2) There need to be clearer instructions for a few things - selling a house at retirement gets you ONE envelope vs three earlier in the game, for example. Why doesn’t getting married count as growing your family? 3) Lastly there are some collectibles I’ve earned that don’t show up to select for my player, specifically badges like the hibiscus. Room for ImprovementThere are a lot of great things about this game! Some issues I have though is I wish there were more career options, or just different things on the cards in general. Sometimes the same things come up over and over and it gets a little boring. Secondly, the online multiplayer platforms glitches constantly. Sometimes I can’t see myself loading in but I can see everyone else. Other times you get stuck waiting for one player to click “Ready” and you can’t proceed forward without them. Fun, but add LAN play if Apple won’t allow online?The game is super cute and fun. I’m delighted it came to Apple Arcade. The big issue is that kids can’t play online, even with friends. The only non-AI option for kids is pass and sharing a screen is not ideal. I wish Apple would nuance their policy for this game is quite safe even online: there is no way to chat or exchange contact info with other players. It seems quite safe for kids. Perhaps parents could offer permission as I did for Ticket to Ride online gaming. At the very least perhaps the game could add a LAN option so people on the same network could play on separate devices. Thanks for reading. Good Game but has some glitchesWe enjoy the game and the different boards you can play on. There are some issues with the app though, that should be fixed: 1. When selling a house, you are supposed to have 3 attempts. However, it always locks in the first attempt and there is no way to change the envelope. 2. Pass and Play handoff takes forever. 💔 Multiplayer DisabledLoved the game until I couldn’t play it with humans anymore. Not looking for another AI quest fest. Thought this was a game meant to connect family and friends with multiple online and offline playable modes, but now the multiplayer features have been disabled. For all the gaggy commenters without constructive criticism, I think the colors of the pegs are great. However, there are super-sensitive types who might prefer you hold the same wedding procession just without the flashy outfits or no ceremony at all. They can go play another game or make sure not choose any purples in the multiplayer. But hey, what if that blue or pink marries a purple!? It’s a conspiracy. Lol. Now it comes full circle. Folks probably spammed the devs with complaints about the game being woke or something and that’s why the online modes went away. Bah-geez-us. Missing Collectibles :(I love the traditional board game (of Life) and I purchased the original version of the iPad app MANY years ago (which stopped being accessible many iOS updates ago). I was/am very excited for this updated version of the game to have been added to  Arcade; however, my primary disappointment is that none of the avatar collectibles that I have unlocked become available options. They simply do not show up in the list of options. This is not an issue with unlocked collectible outfits and vehicles—those become available as soon as they are earned in the game. I also wish that there were more options to make the single player game progress faster. I know that I can reduce the number of computer players, but I don’t want to do that. More specifically: I like being able to see overviews of each different game board at the start of play, but it would be great to be able to skip this on subsequent plays. During gameplay, it would be nice to have the option of completely skipping ahead to the space corresponding to where the number on the wheel lands, in addition to the current 5x speed option. It would also be extremely helpful to be able to set a desired game speed that remains the same throughout the game (unless the player chooses to change this mid game in Settings). As it is currently, I have to re-select 5x speed on my own turns, if I wish to advance more quickly during my turns. Whether I speed up my own turns or not, I am forced to re-select the 5x speed option after every single one of my turns in order to continue to speed up the gameplay of the computer players. Lastly—and this is my most minor request of all—it would be nice to have more than 3 colour options for the game pieces. I appreciate that there is an additional option beyond the traditional pink & blue options, and having even more options would also be nice. My other recommendations are far more impactful to my enjoyment of the game (& consequential review). Cannot play with my kidsThe point of this game for me is to play with my family. But it seems that because the developers track you, kids cannot play online. I have all settings to allow and multiplayer works with other apps. It’s very frustrating that the developers just grey out the multiplayer options with no information on why. Too short on everythingThe actual game play is too fast, roll a few 10’s and game is over, no time to do anything. I’ve played a few times and rarely get to buy a house or change jobs or even land on a kid spot. Many bugsIn general the game is pretty good. But there several annoying things: 1. Global settings don’t work. I need to disable sound and SFX every time I enter the game. 2. Local settings don’t work too. This game is about making turns and make the decisions. Why then speed x5 button always disables by new turns?
