Good start!I’ve been playing since it released. I’m actually a huge fan of the Kingdom Rush series in games since I was younger and even at 25 I am still enjoying it. This game is very possible to play without paying but I will say it’s tough once you run into pay to play people, still not impossible. Their is daily chest that is nice and other small events that have been nice. The events have been very unfair since it’ll match you up with high level/trophy players with paid hero’s or towers which is almost impossible to win against. Overall, game is great and has extremely high potential if they can add an affordable battle pass instead of trying to focus on expensive packs. I believe they need to add a multiplayer Co-Op mode or even a same screen mode in which ipad users can play on one screen. This game reminds me a lot of Bloons TD or even SuperCells Clash Royale in which I played my whole life. I feel this game has very high potential with time but as of right now it is not the time. I enjoy the art, the style and I love IronHide. Please don’t give up on the game and keep striving! From Co-Op, Single player missions and even other add ons to the game, I can see this game going far, even for new players and against bigger companies like super cell games. Yes it’s paid to winI’ve been seeing alot of reviews saying the paid to win isn’t that bad, and while it’s true that’s yes you can get max level cards if you just play enough, it’s also true that YES THEYRE ARE CARDS YOU LITERALLY CANT GET UNLESS YOU PAY, if you click on card pools there’s a few cards you literally can not get unless you pay for them, this includes bresad the dragon, the epic necromancer card, and even magus spell born, maybe they add it to the card pool later but the fact that paid to win players get access to cards that you literally can’t get means the game is indeed PAID TO WIN. I love ironhide and I’ve played every iteration of KR games since 2014 from the OG to frontier, origins, revenge, alliance, and even the iron marine games. And yes battles is still fun but I’d be remiss to say that it’s completely paid to win and the game isn’t rewarding enough with new cards, you have a 1 percent chance to get a legendary right now in the game, and it’s only form certain chests and that you can get them from, it’s not rewarding enough when the whale can just spend 20 and get it maxed leveled then your only a few hundred trophies in, plus’s the paid to win cards have insane effects and stats that just isn’t fair for your normal F2P player.KaiJJ.Version: 1.2.0

Incredible game except…As someone who has loved tower defense games for years, I really love this multiplayer game. There are some of the paid characters that are incredibly hard to beat, which can be super annoying because you feel like you don’t even have a chance if you’re not also paying for these. But it’s not impossible to beat them. It can just be really, really, really annoying. Anyways, besides that it’s super fun. I just don’t like that people can buy their way to winning where I feel like I don’t even stand a chance half of the time. I used to not even agree with this take but as I have progressed in the game, I feel like I’m stuck with the same characters desperately trying to win against these paid characters, and it’s just gotten more difficult as time goes on. This is coming from someone that has literally tried so many different strategies because I didn’t want to believe that I was losing because they have a better character, right? But no. I feel like I have a really good shot at winning when playing against normal non-paid characters but when it comes to the paid characters, it’s literally a 90% chance that the other person is going to win..Thats so LinaVersion: 1.3.1

Not very strategic…I have five stars to get this seen- I would rate it 2. This game is really a lot less strategic than you might think. Sure, it’s a tower defense but the boosters are genuinely overpowered. As the brood mother and shaman has no efficient counter, you’ll be sitting there scraping up anything you can to throw at the brood mother while the enemy farms gold, waiting for you to kill it. The reason is because the brood mother has magic resist, making the only high damage dealers in the GAME useless against it. The towers are not very useful, so your hero is going to be the biggest weapon here. Speaking of heroes, the dragons. Please man, I’m begging you to nerf them. I got steamrolled instantly by a person who spent ~$10 to buy a dragon that can instantly kill the enemy hero and everything around it, effectively making it impossible to win because, like I said earlier, the heroes are very important. The trophy matchups are also completely wack because I’ll get matched with a player around 120 trophies above me with towers that are effectively overpowered at my level. Very Fun Kind of a Money GrabI have been playing Kindgdom Rush since the first game in 2011. In each iteration of the game I was delighted and surprised by new towers, enemies and need for new strategy. The initial price of the games has always been more than reasonable. I felt more than willing to spend an additional few dollars here or there for a tower or a hero to make the experience different and more fun. This game is asking for a lot of money for heroes and gems and whatnot. I am hoping the events and eventual updates to the game will be worth the money spent on a hero and a tower. I think this game is an opportunity for Kingdom Rush to evolve and hopefully listen to its players and continue to provide an excellent tower defense experience. The credit cardI do like the games features, I see how fun it can be, I've experienced how fun it can be, but the fact someone can just drop $10-20 on offers and get a ungodly powerful card that can just stomp anyone else they're playing against without said card nor counter-play as early on as in arena 2 is downright disgusting. So what if you can also get on the same level eventually, I'd be more astonished to see that you decided to slog through all that suffering cause the rates are abysmally low as well as the frequency for you encountering those rates. This game is very much like Clash Royale (monetization as well), with some differences but even CR has better balancing, I.e card rarities not defining how good a card is. 20 cards from a chest just to be divided into per a 3 card and it needs 50 to go from lv 5 to 6, with no way to focus on upgrading specific cards when most of the progression you do get being redundant since they’re completely outclassed by rarer cards..Some random game surferVersion: 1.0.2

Veteran Player hereI’ve been playing kingdom rush when it first came out decades ago and I have the entire set and still religiously play it. I’m so happy to see they released this game version where we can battle with others. I’m not sure why others feel as if it’s unfair play at times but so far I’ve been doing fine without buying any currency. I’ve been beating every single person since I downloaded and honestly it’s all strategic as much as what set you decide to use. Even though I had players who had rare characters, I was still able to beat them. So I don’t think it’s completely unfair as I haven’t experienced it. Even if I did lose it’s all good. Not disappointed at allI honestly have a blast playing this game, I feel like I’m playing a advanced game of chess for how much strategy I have to use. I love how they don’t set you back so hard whenever you lose like other games. I wish you could have two hero’s instead of one like the other game these creators made. Also this game is very challenging I get stuck at the same rank for so long because of how much trial and error I go through but every game I play I enjoy it. But creators if your watching this you should let us have two hero’s not to make the game easier or something like that but just because it’s more fun. Must check outWow this game is awesome. If you’ve ever played kingdom rush and enjoy games like Clash Royale, this is the perfect mix of competitive strategy and fun progressive gameplay. I’d highly recommend you give it a shot and stick around a bit through the learning curves. My only criticism although small, is that the welcome offer literally last 24 hours since you launch the game. I’m older than I was before and would love to pay to win here and there. But I still appreciate value and the offer expires too soon for me to decide if I really want to invest in the game! Big KR fan, but this game has some issues..I want to start off by saying I really enjoy playing this game, with that in mind. There are a few things I think the devs should look into, first thing is the gems, we only get 10 gems per day if we complete all daily quests… so why does the king’s chest cost 3,000?!? Like that is impossible to reach playing the game free. For any chance of getting a legendary tower or hero, you HAVE to spend money. A fair price for the king’s chest so that a regular free-to-play user is 1,500, considering the price for the chest just under that one is 800. Also, an idea for a game mode you guys could add is, a co-op working together style, where both sides are trying to keep creeps from getting past, and you both share lives so you try to make it as far as you can together. Fun and addictive until it wasn’t.I sank many, many, many hours into this game. Loved tinkering and getting to the “endgame” (Stadium). I stopped playing last week and haven’t had the desire to go back. It doesn’t feel pay to win until you get to endgame—and it’s really not the dragons, it’s more that leveling towers goes fairly quickly at first, but slows down to basically a halt because it costs so much gold to “redeem” the earned experience. I’ve considered spending the money to do so, but i would have to spend quite a bit, and at this point I’m burned out on the game. I’ll probably come back at some point. Few Fixes NeededFirst and foremost the connection with the match has issues. From what I’ve noticed if you lose connection or close the app and reload you can’t rejoin the match and I believe it counts as a loss. One game I won and somehow the connection dropped and when I loaded back it I saw the trophy count go down and none of the daily missions were counted. Speaking of daily missions, the daily missions and shop should reset at the same time. It’s weird that they are a few hours apart. Especially when one of the daily missions is to purchase from the daily shop, but if you do that too early and buy out the shop, then you won’t be able to complete that daily mission. Also there is no match history button I see anywhere or a report button for the players with bad names, or even potential exploiters..CilsumVersion: 1.0.1

Highly Addictive and no need to Spend MoneyI have been a fan of your games since day one and absolutely thrilled you entered the PVP realm. Had often thought how awesome would be to merge tower defense with multiplayer and you guys are off to an amazing start. Came at the perfect time as the last game was addicted to started making it impossible to progress without spending thousands. Also, developers punished the top players making it unfair for them to win or gain anything necessary to upgrade their units further unless again you took out a loan or sold off your first born. Difficult for free to play playersAnyone who says this game isn’t pay to win is lying. If you buy a single legendary character you will not only progress faster, but you will dominate 99% of the free to play players. Yes you can progress through the game without putting in a single penny into the game, but you will be at a big disadvantage if you go against anybody who does put money down. This a pvp game, only way to win is to beat your opponent. If they put in money to get better towers and better heroes then you’re cooked. Heck you automatically lose if you go up against someone with an epic hero or higher in the Onslaught event unless you’re playing against a toddler or if you got lucky and got one yourself. It’s like any other gacha game. If you get lucky pulling a good character or tower you’re set. But like any other gacha game, whales exist..Surge37Version: 1.0.6

Great companionFirst of all, I gotta say, as an old player that used to play Kingdom Rush on my chrome browser back in the day, it's a great step into the right direction, the menu is easy to navigate easy to understand, and it's easy to pick up and play, i feel that the dragon heroes are just a bit op maybe it just needs a bit more balancing , ive seen a small margin of becoming the underdog when dealing with the dragons maybe they re better players , the game is fun and in this day and age heroes are not overpriced in my opinion but having extra perks is always a nice thing to have , please don't forget about about the fans we have been here since day one , "for the king!"..1/5 ReviewerVersion: 1.0.5

Great start to something amazingThe game is very different per round and has ton of potential. Just needs like a clan system where you can donate cards have easy access to play against friends. I feel like the plan against friends into arena five is a little weird but once we got there, we were having a blast with this game. I’ve always liked the kingdom Rush title and I have even spent a dime in this game is very fulfilling. Connection error problemI love the game I want to grind it and I’m very eager to play and enjoy the game if it weren’t for the connection error I keep repeating receiving at some point the game worked fine and I was enjoying it but now I cannot play it I’m aware it’s still new but this is ruining the experience for me as it prevents me from playing if you don’t have this problem I recommend this game as it’s free to play and you can spend money but everything is accessible paying is more of a progress acceleration kinda deal. Fantastic - but crashes oftenI’ve been a long time fan of the Kingdom Rush franchise and this game is right up my alley. The gameplay itself is great and really captures the same spirit as the original game as well as nostalgic characters. I enjoy the combat system and it’s a lot of fun. Unfortunately, it has been crashing a lot. I don’t believe I’m playing on outdated hardware (iPhone 16). It’s gotten to the point where I can barely play one match before the game closes. What really stinks is you lose points in the ranking system, worst is you can’t get back into the match even if you reopen the app right away. I support all things Ironhide, but this needs tweakingI pay for all of the games Ironhide puts out. The kingdom rush games are the best TD games out there and you should buy them all today. This game is really fun as well - I like the familiar characters and solid gameplay. My one complaint is the matchmaking in the onslaught events. I am very often put up against someone that has a ranking that is 1000 higher than me and I have no chance. Please fix the matchmaking somehow to make it more fair. Also, I would like to have a better chance of getting elite cards and right now it feels like the pay-to-play people who will spend $20-$40+ on the dragons or other special heroes have an unfair advantage. I am not above paying for a permanent perk as I have spent plenty of money on Ironhide games in the past, but I almost feel guilty purchasing the elite heroes because I will just win all the time and lose the challenge. I love it BUT…So I really do like the idea of this and enjoy playing a good match however my issue is how weak or limited the towers are. A fine example of this is the Barbarians. They can throw their axes but only at flying creatures when I think they should be able to throw it at all creatures. Then you can do the classic strategy of Barbarians in the back and Paladins up front. But you can’t which is really disappointing. Expound this to other towers and you get when I mean with a limit in strategy. Overall, I just think you either A) improve the towers and make them stronger or open to do more things or B) nerf enemies. Oh also, upgrade some of the heroes. Great potential, kind of grindy and definitely pay-to-winAs the title suggests, the game has great potential. The cycle is pretty straight forward, build your deck, play against others, upgrade your deck with new cards/upgraded units. New arenas and enemies are unlocked as you win making it not super repetitive. That said, you can't seem to go back to an arena once the next has been unlocked sometimes meaning you just see the same map over and over until getting enough wins. And the pay-to-win is real. Getting matched against someone with similar total points as you and seeing a top tier hero and towers means all but guaranteed steamroll. Not badIt’s impossible to play events because opponents usually have at least 1,000 more rating than you. Overall, the game is great, and maybe I feel this way because I grew up playing the Kingdom Rush series. Please balance the game properly so that players are matched with opponents of a similar level, or at least provide bots. Right now, it’s impossible to win against someone who has paid money and unlocked the best hero (the dragon) and the best towers. It’s simply impossible to enjoy the game when it pushes you to spend a few dollars just to be on the same level as everyone else, and not everyone can afford that. Mixed feelingsWell, at long last we get a multiplayer kingdom rush. The game is good, great in fact. There’s only 1 glaring issue in my opinion and that’s the tower rarities having passive boons that can provide a multitude of things. (Decreased enemy health, decreased enemy move speed, lower spell CD. Etc.) also legendary towers have more skills than the other tower rarities which just doesn’t sit right. I think this game was designed with micro transactions in mind before actual balance and it’s a pretty big shame. Long time fan, but this needs workFirst off this is not Ironsides best work. The graphics are nowhere near as good as any of their other games and it seems like it was rushed to be built. On the positive note it’s got some familiar characters and the mechanics are easy to use. On the negative, and this is a huge one if you lose a battle, you don’t stay where you are the game actually removed your progress so if you need 10 battles to progress and you lose five of them, it will take you much longer to progress. Great Game, needs work in some areasThe base game is great with lots of strategic options and ways to build your defense. However once you unlock the events to battle other players for summoning scrolls there’s a big problem. You can face literally anybody I have 900 trophies and fought a max level player. The game tries to help by maxing tower level to 5 but my opponent still has the legendary dragon that shoots fireballs across the map at level 1 making my chances of winning nigh impossible. Just a few fixesI love this series, as soon as I saw a clash royale-like version of this series I jumped on it. Admittedly it is a little cash grabby with its immediate offer of $20 bundles etc., but it remains a great game. It’s mechanics are fresh and interesting, while it has a decent assortment of units, towers, and spells-I can’t wait for further updates. The ONLY issue however that has plagued my experience is that I cannot count the amount of times I’ve won a match and I get disconnected-whether this is because my opponent disconnected or something else it’s incredibly irritating as I don’t get any trophies after wasting 2-3 minutes playing. Good game just needs some fixes and adjustmentsThis game is a great game. I love the art style to the gameplay. There’s a lot of different combos and characters but there is one problem that makes me mad and not want to play the game anymore. It’s so hard to get characters. It’s kind of paid to win. If you wanna get good characters and if they don’t give better characters more often at least buff the other characters a lot I’m not saying to give us free good characters. Honest ReviewWell what can say I’m honestly level 4 but it’s been very fun so far. Although I can see how quickly this can turn into pay to win. I’m not going to jump to conclusions until I get further but they of course have all the regular buff my account packages available right away. I sometimes do pay to play but honestly only if it’s reasonable and makes sense to do so. Clash Royale Style Cards With Kingdom Rush GameplayBeen a huge fan of every kingdom rush game in the past and when I heard about the development of this game, i immediately hopped on board! The concept is simple enough for someone without experience to pick it up rather quickly and I don’t mind the new character design too much. I understand it with the Clash Royale formula; but until tournaments, leagues, and etc are added, I can’t really see myself spending any money on this game. Amazing gameThis game is a no brainer for any fan of the KR franchise. They made it so we could go against someone in real time. It’s genius. And pretty addicting. Unfortunately the only gripe I have is the connection issues and how I’ve won a couple of games and it would disconnect and not record a game or treated like I lost. Please have a battle log system in place so we can see the progress.. also the chest system needs to be on a cooldown per chest instead of needing to discover chests by 3s every three hours. Good game minus questionable balancingThis game on all fronts is a great kingdom rush game and is relatively balanced from a PvP game. It may not be pay to win but anyone saying you can unlock everything f2p easily is a straight liar. 99% of the unlocks above rare rarity are extremely unlikely to be gained from normal gameplay unless you grind the game like its destiny 2. If you even look at the statistics for getting any good rolls, you can see that the odds are put against you.
