Deserves a 6th star at leastLove it! First off, no crashing, for those like me who worry about that. This game is very funny! I'm just a short way in but I've had some really great laughs so far. This is also very well put together. A Final Fantasy meets World of Warcraft but with a better sense of humor. I can tell I'm going to get a lot of hours of great game play out of this. It's not a graphics game. It's a shout out to when games were good! If anything I feel bad that I paid so little for this game. I probably sound like a fake ad comment, but I'm actually just happy I found this gem. It's the one you're looking for. Update, still not done, months later, still love this game and just bought sequel. One downside, if I get a phone call, I lose all unsaved progress. Old school with new humorThe game reminds me of old school J-RPGs, but with silly main characters, a neat time traveling theme, and self-aware/ breaking the 4th wall NPC humor. Battles are turned based and items can be interesting such as healing using ‘potato chips’. You can customize the difficulty, window color and save at any time— which is great. The controls took me quite some time to get used to— I’m pretty sure they could have been more streamlined, or if there were an option to be able to edit/ change them I would’ve. I also wish there was a zoom in feature in the game because it can look quite small on the phone. I see that the main characters look worse than most of the other characters in the game— I know it must be on purpose but it’s odd. Awesome game!I gotta say, I'm not one to write reviews, but this game deserves one. 5 stars definitely so far. What I've been looking!As a 27 year old man with the heart of a child ,but the responsibility of someone running a local business, I have been searching for a classic turn based RPG. Well this is it! It reminds me of the classics I played when I was a child, but with enough cynicism and humor to keep me interested. I have been waiting to find thisPossibly the best 99 cents I ever spent. I love the lack of IAP and classic play. It's a good long game, too. I'm like 8 hours in and feel like there's probably a long way to go. The writing is good and very funny. There are occasional and slight off-color jokes that keep this from totally being kid-friendly, but it's better than a lot of what's out there. For adults, I'd give it more stars if I could. Perfect game for a new parentMy second child was just born, and although I love watching her sleep, it does get a little bit boring after awhile. This game is the perfect solution. It can be played one handed, there's no real time component, you can save often (which is important because both my children need me frequently) and it's fun. I love the humor, the battles are engaging, and it requires just the right amount of thought from me to keep it fun without thinking too hard. Spend the 99 cents. Excellent RenditionI was skeptical at first - although, this RPG is something that reminds me of adventures past, as well as games with a fun factor that undoubtedly kept you playing until the end...similar to 16-bit classics. Amazing game, looove itReally humorous and packed with loads of fighting. I've already recommended it to most of my friends. Great game with one issueI really enjoy playing - great old-time RPG that isn't seen much any more. The only problem is the lag - it eventually slows and freezes, then it actually quits. When I open the app again it goes to the main screen and I have to go back to last saved point. Not a big deal in most play (just save often) but longer boss battles get frustrating when I have to keep trying to finish without it crashing. Old school 8 bit magicReally fun with some witty dialogue. It seems to play for ever. You just keep on following your quest chain, keep exploring, keep upgrading abilities, keep upgrading items and don't forget to SAVE, SAVE, SAVE!!! This is a game about obesity and diabetes30 hours and 100% completion later, I say this: What kind of message does it send to impressionable gamers that you can refill your health by eating 10 bags of chips back to back? Best RPG in a long time!This rpg in the vein of ff was extremely well done! I just finished the main quest and a few side quests in a little over 16 hours. Great RPGThis game is fantastic. The story is funny and self-aware, frequently poking fun at the absurdities that occur in RPGs. Very good!I hadn't stumbled upon a good game like this one in a long time. However the cloud saving is really crap. The game works with skydrive but log in you have to leave the app, and when you come in the game restarts and doesn't download cloud saves. I'm sure they have their reason for using skydrive rather than iCloud but really it just doesn't work. Funny Creative Game that Disrespects GodI'm an old school tabletop rpg player that was looking for a game that had that flavor to it. Played this for about 12+ hours. A large part of the game is very funny & creative. They didn't need to put as much profanity in it as they did. I quit playing when I encountered one of the evil bosses that quite clearly started quoting bits from Scripture, and referring to himself as the Alpha & Omega, one of the names of God. Bought ad-free, have to restart and lose progress!I bought the ad-free version and I have to start over to use it! I created an account and uploaded my saved progress from the free version. But when I try to download the saved from on the paid version, I just get a “downloading saved files”. I even left it on overnight and when I woke up it still said the same “Downloading...” message. Awesome game.Title and stars don't match I know... I'll explain why this happened. The game itself is awesome. I love turn-based games and it reminds me so much of Final Fantasy. Along with that the humor I found throughout the game via headstones and dialogue gets me every time. I want to give this 5 stars so bad it kills me but twice now, I think after updates, it wipes all saved games I have. I woke up today with no saved files and starting from the beginning. BugI decided to play this game all over again since I remember playing it 2 years ago. I played it and after the first dungeon the one filled with skeletons when I get the red key and go to the door after the chapter screen and where the crystals are and where you are summoned to the castle I can’t move from the place or even click to continue the dialogue that happened once you enter.Game is buggyVersion: 1.9.0

Audio and freezing issuesWas excited to play this but in the first dungeon when I enter a battle the sound gets all choppy and the game freezes. I lose everything up to my last save point too.
