Unplayable.I played this game many years ago, and loved it. At that time I had disposable income and knew good and well that with it being a Perfect World game, it would be Pay-to-Win. I won’t lie, I spent a great deal of money on this game, as I have in the past on many of their other titles. It got to where, even with all of the money I was spending, I could not keep up with the newer cards being released. But that is the past, and this review should be about the current state of the game, right? Well I just installed it to see what was new... and it crashed. So I tried to relaunch it, and all I get is a “request failed” error message. It doesn’t work. This seems to be Perfect World’s business model. Maybe a game impossible to play without spending a ton of money, knowing full well that all of the players will eventually get tired of spending money, and then when the player base inevitably dies, abandon the game entirely..Narkotikz_Version: 1.8.1

Terrible customer service, buggy gameI have played this game for over a year, I'm addicted, I've spent quite a bit of money on it. I've ranked 16th on my server in an event. I lead a clan. I will now be turning off in app purchases and if it weren't for leading my clan I would delete this game from my phone entirely. Do not get this app. I have never received worse customer service anywhere except from Comcast. They take forever to address bugs, if at all, they automatically delete tickets after 3 days if you don't respond to them even if they have asked you not to, they will reply with poor grammar and punctuation, spacing, and spelling errors, they will reply incompletely. If I could rate this game zero stars I would. To compete in this game you need to spend, but the company is not worth the money, they won't treat you as a valued customer whether you spend or not. In short, once upon a time they had good customer service and cared about their players, now they have become jaded and expect money despite continually worsening service and bugs. Updated ReviewThis game has a lot if potential. I enjoy the deck building and feel that there are many ways to out together a competitive deck. There are lots of different and interesting abilities for the different cards. However, you have to keep getting better, higher level cards to compete. The drop rate for 4-5 star cards is ridiculous. The only way to get them is to buy lots of booster packs which will cost you real money. The other option is to upgrade your lower level cards. I love this option because some of the lower level cards have awesome abilities but they never get played because it would take an eternity to level up a good number of low level cards. Overall this game is pretty fun, but you'll end up getting bored with it unless you spend lots of money on it which is ridiculous in my opinion. I also took off another star because of the game crashing all too frequently. I've had to uninstall and reinstall at least four time this week..WineGuy75Version: 1.2.1

Update: devs shift to support only top playersUpdate: new events are only for top spenders and the strategy outlined below is no longer effective . Unless you buy a ton of gems you'll only ever acquire 50-70% of the required scraps to assemble cards you'd need to compete. In other words you don't get them. I've been playing for 5 months and have never manage to compile enough scraps for one five star card despite playing multiple times a day. In short they tried to make it fair for all but have recently given up and only support big spenders . Good job.... However if you're late to the party you'll need to spend quite a bit on crystals and get insane luck to catch up to the top players. It's also frustrating that despite the devs best efforts often times improvement attempts fall flat and only make the rich richer and create a larger gap. Just okay...I would say, PWE purchased the rights from the makers of "Lies of Astaroth," and replaced the art, characters and general storyline. Unfortunately over the years, PWE has completely lost sight of what makes a game fun that people would want to play for more than a week. This is due to the inadequate rates system. Fun gameI really enjoy this game, been playing it for several months. It would be 5 star no question about it, however, twice I've experienced problems with the in game currency. The first time they helped since I used my own money, but they waited until after the event I bought them for was over before crediting my account. Original review: This was a 5-star game for me, one that I've paid IAP for, but the latest update has completely destroyed it (though not in an unfixable way.) The reason for the problem is the new card graphics and sounds. Putting aside the crucifixion animation (who seriously approved that??), the entire new look is a shock-and-awe approach. Graphics are everywhere, loud, and bright. The screen shakes anytime a hero is hit (read:often.) It's simply impossible to tell what's happening, and I'm not some newbie. I've been playing for *months*. Pretty as they might be in Photoshop, the new design misses entirely that this is a card game, built on strategy. And in order to have a strategy, you have to be able to tell what's going on. At present, that's impossible. There are good ideas here, too. The battle system was too slow, with no way to skip battles that were lost causes. That's improved. And better graphics are good too, provided the users can see the forest for the trees. There's hope. Mother of crashesWell after reading everyone's review I mean mine is no different. Decent enough game but literally crashed every other mission or at times I would finish missions I just started so it auto'd it out for me but crashed so I would close game open it and wala mission was done. Awesome Game... Needs some work thoughThis game doens't like lag very much. It's hard to find a game that doesn't have issues when you have lad spikes or slow internet. Can't complete tutorialI have gotten to the tutorial part where you press the button that the game automatically plays for you. I pressed it and the game says that I need connection, which I have a full 3 connection bars, the best connection you can get. Then the warning just quits.
