Please read Carrier landings team...Personally I don’t have enough good things to say about this app, definitely the most advanced mobile flight simulator, I have everything purchased but two of your planes, it would be great if you could add a plane statistics page; Max speed, maximum takeoff speed, range... and also if you could add a multiplayer dogfight mode, and a scenario maker like some of you other carrier landings games. Challenging and fun!This is a great game, especially if you take pride in flying and landing with precision. Flight dynamics are modeled pretty well, but the game would benefit from a couple of tweaks to make it more realistic for the pilot. First, the HUD needs a simple aircraft waterline (bore sight) marker in addition to the velocity vector. The difference between the two on the pitch ladder is a critical cue for the pilot at low speeds to keep the angle of attack right for landing. The second tweak is the stall dynamics—there is no pre-stall warning (like a buffet), and once the warning goes off in the game, there is no recovering the jet. Need a little more warning. I’d also like to see the landing camera view (crosshairs on the glide slope) in the replay mode that used to be a part of the F-18 landing game (very instructional for learners). Another suggestion to make the game more fun would be to model different carriers of various sizes and configurations (modified Essex, Midway, Forrestal, Foch, Kuznetsov, Venticinco de Mayo, Ark Royal, etc). Great, but needs some work...First of all, all other items cost money, secondly the physics are a little off. What I mean by that is there is no good AOA and no velocity vector, also, the stall speeds are off and the plane does not fall out of the sky as soon as it stalls, I would also like for there to be maps based off of real life missions, such as operation enduring freedom and other missions that happened in real life. If you fix these issues I think others will enjoy that, as well as an option to actually be in formation with another jet, and also the fly in formation with red 2 stuff to actually have a formation change option while in flight so you’re not all over the place. I would also like to have the Shooters on deck as well as a refueling process and some weapon physics and bombs and missiles and guns..TOJOHNSOVersion: 4.3.2

Could be 5 starsThis game is awesome, and if you are like me and look at reviews it would be smart looking at this one. This game is exactly what you want, I’ll tell you that. Great graphics, 0 lag, and it is very fun. My only problem is the selection variety. You can only play as an F/A 18 and only fly in 1 map, the islands without paying. Everything else you need to pay for. I really like flight simulators with many planes/maps to choose for free. If Rortos reads this, PLEASE add free planes/maps in replace for some ads. The best flight simulatorI find Carrier Landings to be one of the best flight simulators to ever come along. This is something I do at least once a day for 30 minutes or more. The aircraft that are in the simulator are pretty close to the real thing. I wish some of the instrumentation that are in the cockpit worked, but the ones that do, navigation, altimeter and speed indicator and HUD work just fine. In the flight simulator portion of the program I’d like to see more realistic graphics for scenery such as if I’m flying in Europe some landmarks and realistic mapping. Build a SkyraiderFun game and somewhat realistic....except there is no control for Yaw movement. At that point, it would probably make the game too difficult. I would like to see an A1 Skyraider or the AD Skyraider as another plane in the game. Wonderful plane to fly and very foregiving. It was slow, but the stall speed was so low that you nearly hover. Amazing sim but slight issue with iphone xThis sim is built very well and is quite realistic. The one issue I have (the only reason im giving it 4 stars) is the speed is cut off screen by the notch on the iphone x. This makes it impossible to evade stalls. Great gameThe only problem I’m having is that there is a glitch maybe it’s like this in some spots but the fuel tank areas on the map have an invisible spot underneath where the fuel tanks are at. This is in the islands scenario. Best aviation game everThis the best aviation game you can on mobile like seriously only a couple of games like x plane 11 and Dcs world get better than this but I think it would be better if you added the E-2 Hawkeyes and the sh-60b seahawk but i know that this isn't a helicopter game but it would better with it. Not for iPhones with notchesGame is fun to play. It is not 100% realistic, but one of the best jet simulation games. However it is not optimized to iPhones with notches. IPhone 11 ProThe game is fun. Only downside to the platform are the controls and the speed hidden in the speaker area on the left side. This is where the speed is located and also throttle . Great flying mechanics, decent missions just a few minor gripesVer 1 had great flying mechanics, graphics were very good and Ver 2 just adds to it. New missions have been added as well that makes the free version very good value. I believe the paid Ver adds many more missions. They also added ability to use 1 of 3 catapults on aircraft carrier which is cool. Watching the replay is also cool as well with the Cinema mode. Minor gripes: fix the small glitch where the plane sometimes jumps up for no apparent reason. Need a bit more variety for missions.... Maybe it's the free Ver but there are 3 levels of missions but they are pretty much the same. Some suggestions to make this even better: if possible, add some other planes landing or taking off, especially on aircraft carrier cos it does get a bit a bit lonely flying around by yourself. For paid Ver, would be cool to select your plane below deck and have elevator take your plane up to flight deck. Overall, Great job! 4 for gameplay but 5 for value..L-TraneVersion: 2.0

Awesome game please look!This game is fantastic, I'm very impressed and after using the multiplayer link with my iPad I'm blown away!! This is a powerful feature many other games have yet to take advantage of! Only issue with the multiplayer screen link is when I set my iPad as the screen and my phone as the controller my progress doesn't save, even if I completed the mission. That's a bug that I can't get past! Hopefully this will be fixed. Other than that, having more places to land would be cool. 5 stars once this is fixed! Great game - constructive feedbackEntertaining, one of the games i have played most, and because its fun i want to add some constructive points that could make it better: Flight model: some areas of the flight model have improved since early versions of the original, however here are some elements of the carrier landing 1 (version 3... Maybe) that were better. What is completely unrealistic and incredibly frustrating when setting up for landing ( of which there is a lot in the game) is the complete unwillingness of the nose to slice ( drop) in a gentle turn with relaxed pitch input. Hence final turns that in reality should be 40-55 degrees of bank with a dirty jet are instead cranked to 110-120 degrees of bank fighting to get the nose to drop through the horizon. Try looking for youtube vids of jets flying closed pattern final turns like that. Doesn't happen. In version 3 ( I'm even more sure now, looking back) of the original game the model was not like this. You could set up nicely perched, 1000' agl in the downwind cut the throttle, throw on some bank (40-55) and be rewarded with a nice stable descending turn to short final. It was like a sport in and of itself in the old game. That was before the ability to look around, which actually wasn't so bad in the old game because the view out he HUD ( especially the velocity vector and pitch ladder) isn't skewed like it is now. One last note on the bank/pitch/nose rate observation: it really doesn't add up in the campaign missions with "red 2" (which is an odd call cause clearly he is leading you). When trying to hold form in a turn, red 2 has a gentle 30 odd degree bank, while you have to throw on 60 to match the same turn rate. Doesn't add up. Perhaps it would be best if red 2 was modelled with the same flight engine, allowing an actual opportunity to really fly form. I had a frustrating experience, tucked in echelon right ( but more like offset trail cause I couldn't catch him), thinking this looks pretty cool, when instantaneously red 2 gently turns across my nose, which I could have matched except for the massive, excessively non linear speed drop by red2 that instantly had us in the same place at the same time. Not fun, and unrewarding. So, please take this as a positive, great game, with a few tweaks would be even better. So..... flight model tweaks ( let that nose slice!) + aligned HUD + same flight model for red 2/ other aircraft = a big leap in further in the awesome direction.Cbass699Version: 1.2

The Real ScoopAlright so before you download this game,just know that…if you don’t pay for everything…You won’t get anything. The free missions are repetitive and bland,and while I love the flight system,having to pay for new experiences and even a new plane is very discouraging. Don’t get me wrong though,what can you expect for a free game, the devs don’t really get anything from it unless people pay. However they seem to update the game in relatively short times…but nothing changes. Bugs are still there and the graphics are pretty low quality as always,the free missions don’t change,nothing gets added for free. If you don’t pay you won’t play. Lowered my original ratingThe dev team simply don’t seem to care about giving the VSTOL aircraft their proper flight characteristics having them snap from Vertical to Horizontal flight or inversely horizontal to vertical flight instead of the correct smooth variable transition makes this seem more like a high school kids summer project than a flight simulator. At one time I had contacted the developers and asked about this. They claimed it was to make the jets easier to fly however this is completely off the rails as it makes them more annoying to fly. There are other flight sims that have VSTOL aircraft the use the same flight sim engine that actually work correctly and as a result make them much more entertaining. Speed gauge needs relocatedWould be a game so far, but my only complaint is a huge complaint and that's the position of the speed gauge. With the knowing your speed it's a useless game. I have an iPhone 11 and the speed gauge is obstructed by the phones head speaker. The game won't let me rotate the game if I turn my phone around. Can’t see speedThe app is great and tons of fun. The air speed is hidden behind the camera and ear portion of my iPhone 11. This makes it difficult to truly know how fast you are going. Disappointing, not as good as extreme landingsI love this developers game Extreme Landings, so I gave this a shot, and immediately spent $7 for the simulator. Unfortunately this game is much less realistic, the controls are much more gamish, things like inverted flight are impossible which is stupid, because this is a jet game. Terrible design and tutorial.Game is boring. Tutorial is absolutely terrible and doesnt help new player. What is difference between normal and simulation? Then after one flight you get spammed with adds. Typical game these days. Care way more about revenue than player experience. When player has a great experience, they spend. Not worth the hassle. Has bugsThe gave is overall great with realistic controls but when you play on the MacBook Pro and switch camera modes well flying the game crashes, fix this. It ruins the big missions I do flying from Canada to the USA. I have to restart my MacBook.
