Very Enjoyable- PLEASE CONSIDER NEW FEATURES COMMENTEDI really enjoy this game however there are some things i believe many players would agree would help if were available: 1. It would be nice you are able to look at your storage items when in another city. Sometimes i am looking for several items and since we are limited on time we cannot so easily go back to our city check what we need then go back to the city to buy any other items that are convenient. 2. I am usually in a hurry especially when it comes to challenges or when there is just too many items at the store i need. Having the option of popping a random bubble in another city really close to their store would save a lot of time. 3. It would also save a lot of time if it would just go straight to the city once it loads instead of slightly rotating around for a bit before you can look around or select anything within the city. 4. It would also be very very nice if there was a way of selecting only the items you need at a time in out factories. For example: I collect 5 items from my factory i need the 5th item but i cannot receive it unless i sell or use something in order to get the 5th item because i only have space for 4 more items when i could maybe for example hold the factory to move, or bulldoze, double tap to collect all items at the same time and tap it once to select the items i need first. I believe many players would agree if these features existed it would make the game more enjoyable!.Incite3Version: 1.18.24

My favorite gameI don’t spend money on this game unless there is a special on Sim Cash (initial bump + some everyday for 1 month, for $2.99); or, I make it to the end of the Mayors’ Pass and there are some properties I really like in the Premium Pass for $8.99. (Sometimes that helps to complete the last 5 Free Pass tiers at the last minute.) Even so, that is only about once or twice a year. Have been playing almost 10 years and I have all but 1 region and about 1/2 of the Capitol City land expansion. I used to enjoy Design Challenge (and I would start playing it again *if* EA would return items used in the Challenge to where they were before the competition started. Figuring out where everything was before that is not too difficult, but is a drag. I started a club that was pretty successful, but keeping everyone on board and following the same strategy got old, as well as, watching the hackers do whatever they please. I had people around the world on my team and meeting up twice a week was not always convenient. Most of my team members wanted to war so they just stopped playing. Now I only have one member, but he is a great guy who always wants to help with the Contest of Mayor’s when he shows up. The key to playing the way I do is patience - especially when it comes to getting what I need from the Global Trade HQ, because of my lack of members. But, the trade off is that I don’t have to deal with trying to figure out the optimal time to begin wars or determine trade practices without alienating someone..Herb RobbVersion: 1.64.1

Great game but here are some things that can be worked onI live this game! I've been playing it for many years now and I've enjoyed it so much. I can't find any other game like it and that's what makes it unique. However, there are still bugs with the game and some missing features that would make the game a whole lot more fun. For example, whenever there is a train track crossing and a train is coming, some of the pedestrians like to run out in front and get hit by the train. Also, some cars like to wait at the train track crossings after the gates have already gone back up. I've also seen some cars faze through each other. It would be cool if instead of them fazing through each other, they crash and cause traffic. Talking about traffic, I've also noticed that when some of the roads need upgrades, there never is actual traffic on those roads and the roads that actually have heavy traffic need no requirement to upgrade them. That has always confused me. Now some things that would be cool if the game developers added would be if you could be able to customize the terrain a little more like being able to add little hills and such. It would also be nice if there were also more different styles of buildings because some of my buildings look exactly the same just with different colors. Enjoy the game...Been playing now for a year and a half. I enjoy the game every day and look forward to growing my city. However, I would like to see some improvements: please change the statements for my citizens' opinion bubbles(seeing the same ones all the time is boring); I wish there was a comprehensive way to see a breakdown of all my cities' buildings by type, population, latest update date, etc; and although I enjoy the Mayoral Contests, I find it very difficult to finish in the top ten even though I only complete the assignments that have the highest point value. I understand that spending real money to finish higher in the standings is probably necessary(and even rewarded with higher point total assignments) however some mayors' point totals above me seem impossible for me to obtain without some kind of hacking of the game and that possibility makes me question even participating in future Mayoral Contests. Why spend real $$ trying to beat a cheater!!!" So now it is December 2019 and I am having problems after upgrading Mayors Pass Season 3. I cannot get into the game because I’m kicked out before my city appears. I have asked for an explanation and am told that “the team” is working on a solution. 3 days later I’m still waiting. Suggestions! But good and enjoyable! 😊I love this game! I also love the creators! I play sims almost every day! This game is great! But, I do have some suggestions... My first suggestion is to make it easier to progress. I always run out of money the first five seconds I start playing the game. My second suggestion is that there should be guides to build better cities. Because when I load up other players cities they look a lot more improved than mine when I come back and look at it. If I had a guide to follow to make something that looks like a city. (You should have a variety of guides to choose from to get the perfect city!) My third suggestion is that it is easier to get the bucks. When I buy some it runs out less than a second. Also I think my money runs out to fast to because I have non at the and of my playtime on this app which usually ranges from 5 minutes to 1 and a half hours. A little bit of other suggestions I have are that you should be able to make cities with your friends. Like having a special friend city world. If this was possible I would love it: In the game you are able to make wooden chairs and I this this city buildings should have a inside apartment where you can put all different furniture and have a sim walk around in there. FrustratingI really like this game and I want to keep playing, but it is so frustrating. Firstly, expanding your land is so difficult. You need certain items and the game rarely gives you these items and you have about a 1% chance of finding them for sale from other players. Then, expanding your city storage is frustrating. The game gives you a ton of those items right up until you almost have enough, and then it just stops giving them to you. The game tries so hard to make you spend real money, and honestly Id feel better if I just never downloaded it. I want to play this game but I cant expand my territory without paying 24 simcash for EACH upgrade item!! Ridiculous!! I actually broke down and paid 2.99 to get 200 simcash, and it was only barely enough for one expansion, including the items I already had. Seriously this game is ridiculous!! Earning money hasnt even been the problem for me at all, like some other reviewers have said. To earn money you just have to produce and sell a lot. That is easy and feasible, and pretty fun as well. But expanding your city is difficult and frustrating. To the developers.. Please make it easier to expand!! Edit: The clubs are a cool idea, but there is no point in having them or the wars if I cant find a club that is active. Every club I join has like one post a week. Great game but needs workOverall the game is amazing and highly addicting, however there are some things that need to be fixed/updated. For instance, in the game once u start and go deeper into the game u won’t be able to remodel your city if u wish to do so. They should add a option where it saves ur progress, buildings, and all other things or make a option where u can put those buildings, roads, etc. into a UNLIMITED storage. That way if the player wishes to remodel from the start they can without any troubles. Another issue they should work on is being able to access your storage in another players city. The countless of times I have to go back to a city to see how much I have of something or how much I need of something is too much, especially when I loose the item I was going to buy because I had to go back to my city to check my storage resulting in the shop resetting. Another option they should add is to pause the game. For example, if you were going to change a few buildings around and add stuff sometimes rearranging things can decrease your sim’s happiness level. Something as simple as moving a hospital just for a few minutes so you can fix something makes your sim’s happiness level go down. It’s kind of annoying when all I’m doing is to improve the city that THEIR living in. Honestly it’s a great game, but it can be better. I love it... kinda (please read if you want thorough review)Ok, so I’ve been playing this game for a while now. It’s been really great and a fun way to build a city. However, I have some complaints and suggestions. One thing I really don’t like about the game, is the difficulty to expand cities or certain areas (mountains, beaches). The expandable areas are only gained through the small chance of receiving the materials, or the even smaller chance of them being on sale from other players. This makes the game hard to play because after a while, it takes more and more of these materials, and if you can’t expand and build more, you can’t make money. I think it would be easier to create a cap or limit on the amount of materials needed eventually, as they are hard to get and take up space. Another thing is the Global Trade algorithm. Later in the game, building your city has a heavy reliance on Global Trade and the random availability of items from other players. Whenever I don’t need something, have a lot of something, or have that item on sale currently, the item appears almost excessively on Global Trade. However, when I need a certain item, it filters it out of Global Trade making you waste a good 30 minutes searching until you find a couple of the items. This is vey frustrating and I would recommend an update or change. Otherwise, the game is extremely fun and creative. I love the game and can’t wait for future updates!.Minor childVersion: 1.32.2

Love the game, but some changes can be made.This is a great game! I love the club wars and the challenges. My city is at level 50 now, and it’s totally fun. You get to build buildings, and you can get other, special limited time buildings from the city challenges and other things too. But to expand now I have to get 20 of each item. It’s hard to get the items, eventually you’ll have to pay real money for them, so it would be nice to make them easier to obtain. Maybe at a certain point it just costs a certain amount to expand every time. It would also be nice if your city could expand more. Also, make it so there are limitless expansions. You would still need the items to expand, but like I said before, maybe stop raising the expansion cost after around maybe 20 of each item. They take up a lot of space along with being hard to obtain. Besides that, I would suggest adding weather to the game. You can see the temperature and the forecast. Maybe you can make holidays for your city to celebrate. Maybe people get injured in the weather, and you can upgrade your hospitals to take more patients. It would be cool to add snowplows that go around your city. Also, add a feature that shows how environmentally considerate your city is and healthy it is too. Maybe the more parks, mountain, beach and entertainment specialization's you have your sims health improves. Those are all my suggestions. I love it …. But it could be betterHonestly when I first started this game I had no intention on keeping it downloaded because I had lost all my progress after I deleted it and took a break from it. .Initially , I didn’t expect to love it as much as I did . The ONLY MAJOR Problem I had was the coins and dollars . Of course almost all games has to include some sort of currency that’s hard to obtain but wow the dollars are very rare . I’m currently on level 23 and I’ve only obtained maybe around 130 dollars which cannot buy you anything pretty much . Another problem I would suggest looking into is better graphics. I think actually being able to zoom further in and see people walking and driving would be a cool feature not necessary but would be cool . Also a lot of the missions are hard to do … in my opinion specifically the evil doctor ones I’m confused on how it would make sense to purposefully destroy the city then have to collect materials again to build it back up but okay now I’m rambling … download it and I would suggest play it back to back for a couple of days then after that space your days up that way you aren’t spending so many coins at once and another major thing is not to collect your city taxes too soon . It’s an addicting game, but…I’ve been playing this game for a while now and it’s pretty fun. I like the fact that you get to upgrade your residencies and build a beautiful bustling city however, on the other hand, there is a few concepts that need to change the main thing that bothers me is that it’s very hard to acquire Simoleons other than the fact of upgrading homes and selling materials. If you’ve been playing the game for a while, you know that in order to upgrade homes, you have to wait for the material to finish. this can take up to four hours or more waiting for everything to acquire. this is another problem. I have to wait a very long time since some upgrades require a bunch of materials. I’m only on level 13 and some materials take 30 minutes each and some upgrades require 10 of them. Another thing is that too much things cost Sim Cash. (I don’t know what else to call it.) at the start of the game, they only give you $50, which is obviously not enough plenty of options require a lot more money. I have already spent enough money on Simoleons and cash. I don’t have a lot of money to spend on one game! All I’m asking is for EA and the other game developers to do better and and maybe improve the game a little bit more to where I don’t have to always pay for coins and cash. Give us some wiggle room pleaseI really enjoy the game but there are a few things I wish the developers could reconsider. The way the game works requires the user to log in multiple times a day to complete challenges and fulfill shipments — which is fine. However, it is time consuming simply for the fact that as the game progresses and storage items that are needed to expand amount of items you can hold are more difficult to come by. It can become a problem hunting for these items when 1) users are unable to choose single items from factories and production stores. (Right now you’re forced to retrieve these items in the chronological order they were produced.) 2) said items must be sold regularly if you don’t have the storage space, which disrupts your ability to store items that are needed for deliveries and challenges. 3) it’s difficult to expand the boundaries of your city when you don’t have adequate storage space to accommodate the incrementally increasing amount of items needed to expand your city. All of this requires you spend Green simolean money if you want to speed things up and frankly the user isn’t given much to work with even once the user purchases simolean cash. I understand the format for online gaming is crafted to have the user returning and spending, but unless you choose to play really slowly and NOT build — which is the antithesis of the objective and allure of this game — you’re going to get stuck at some point and won’t have much wiggle room to continue playing enjoyably. Good,but frustrating!!!!!I really enjoyed playing this game, but feel that a few items should be changed about the game. I think that if you put an item for sale you should be able to spend coins or dollars to take the item down and keep the item. I also think it would be nice if we could trade omega items with others. My main issue with this game is when it comes to having a war with another group. There seems to be a new strategy going around, which while brilliant, it’s frustrating and makes me not want to play. Team 1 goes in and bombs team 2 quickly, therefore accumulating a lot of war points quickly. Team 2 retaliates, but maybe they don’t have as many members, so they can’t put up as many war points as quickly. Team 1 is completely bubbled and doesn’t ever unbubble. So team 1 is going to win because they refuse to unbubble, and team too just has to sit there and wait. I understand that it is “war “ but this is happening every time I play, and it’s to the point where I don’t even want to go to war with my group anymore. Can’t you make it so that we either have to pay a penalty if we stay bubbled after a certain amount of time or you automatically have to unbubble after so many hours? Just in the name of fairness this would be a great option. It’s a beautiful game... BUTWell, I really love this game that much is true. However, I have one complaint. Why do construction bubbles exist? Why do they have to pop out? Or even better, why do we have to see them? Could you just create two ways to view your city? One that doesn’t always show bubbles and one that does? Because sometimes, I’d just like to see my city the way visitors would see it, without construction bubbles. Or if you could just deny the construction of a building, so that there can be some building diversities in my city and not just a bunch of skyscrapers. Even though those really look awesome. And if the player doesn’t want to deny that forever then, create a way where we can deny those building upgrades for a while (a long one, at least for a few days). I think that many players who build their cities in a planned way and for looks would agree with this... upgrade thoughts are annoying. And also, just something I was wondering about... why do residence upgrades require food? Can you make it so that those only need construction items? Because then we can use the food we make for economic growth, to earn money from that. Or maybe the food you make could be used to feed the city and keep it happy...? Great gameOnce I start playing this game, I just can’t put it down. It’s super fun and keeps me engaged. However, there are some downsides. To upgrade my houses and expand my city, I need a lot of different items. For each building, I need between one and twenty of a specific item, and they can be really hard to find at the trading center. This makes it tricky to progress in the game. Lately, I've noticed the game has been really laggy, and sometimes it even glitches, which can be frustrating. There are times when I quit playing for a bit, and when I come back, I notice that some items I paid for are missing. I also bought the premium mayor's pass, but this last time I never received my rewards or anything else from it, which is such a bummer. I truly dislike how the globe trade system operates; it feels unnecessarily cumbersome when searching for specific items. Ideally, there should be a filter option that allows players to quickly select the items they need, saving us from the frustration of spending hours sifting through endless listings to find that one elusive piece. The added pressure of a 30-second timer once multiple items finally appear makes the experience even more stressful, as it often leads to panic and rushed decisions. Just when you think you've spotted the items you need, they refresh with a whole new set, leaving you scrambling once again. Despite these annoyances, I must admit that the game itself is incredibly engaging and hard to put down. The thrill of discovery and the variety it offers are compelling, making me eager to come back for more, even with the trade system's flaws. Nice Game, But Some Stuff Need to Happen.Hello Developers I hope you are reading this so I am like level 21 when I wrote this and the game is like really fun. I like the best part about my city, which is my beach developing me like 30,000 Population. Anyway, I think some stuff need to be added and changed and maybe even deleted. So, you need NEED to make it possible to like, not have a entertainment HQ cust like 60,000 dollars compared to the first item in mountain, cust 10,000 dollars. (Not city sign) so anyway, please actually make the city sign cust not like simcash, which is almost impossible to get 700 simcash except for buying simcash with real money. And I am against that. So maybe why won’t you at least make some items that cust both simcash and simoelens (sorry if I spelled it wrong) so anyway, you should also make (idk if there is already one) like a ending thing with all the sim people in-game that we can see and tap in them for useful stuff about what they demand. So the ending thing says “congratulations mayor! You have completed the game!” Then on the bottom there is 2 buttons one in red and one in green. The red button says “restart playing” and if you click it 2 new buttons say are you sure? And Close”. So the green button says “keep playing” and which if you click it it says the same thing, “are you sure?” And “Cancel” so sorry if my writing was too long and didn’t make sense to you but if it made sense to another developer who is reading this he can tell you what it said and how it has meaning. SimSationalFun and fast past. The game keeps your attention while not taking too long to mine materials for building your city. It does not take long to have what you need to build an impressive city quickly. Leveling up and figuring out the best way to structure your key elements of your city is a fun challenge while figuring out how to ensure your Sims remain happy in the process. It does seem a little overwhelming to build your city without upgrading the key elements of your city’s infrastructure in a timely manner, as this will quickly upset your Sims, and they will become unhappy. Thus, resulting in chaos ensuing throughout the city, and Sims leaving in mass which will result in a loss in revenue for your city, which ultimately will result in you not being able to upgrade your city’s infrastructure in a timely manner. This vicious cycle can be avoided by simply upgrading your infrastructure by purchasing Simoleons (game coins) or game cash from the game store and upgrading the necessary items in your city immediately. You Sims will thank you now that things like your electric grid, water and city sewage is all running efficiently and with ease. Ok game, some problems (please read)I got this game when my mom started talking about how she used to be obsessed with it, and after I saw her playing it. I can spend hours making things to upgrade my buildings, and even longer trying to do challenges and cargo shipments... and, well, you get the point. I use the global trade HQ all the time, and I like how they added export HQs for the other regions so that there’s multiple ways to earn lime simoleons and other currencies like that. However, I do wish there was one other way to earn sim cash. I barely ever spend any, and have been saving them for a while, but I still don’t have that much. I know that there’s already a lot of ways to earn them, but I feel like at least once a couple days there’s a option to earn them by making a bunch of materials in a hour or something like that. Or, at least, make it a little more common to get simcash from watching videos. Speaking of which, there’s something that really bugs me. You see, sometimes when I watch a video, it doesn’t give me a reward. And no, I’m not talking about when one of the three boxes are empty. Sometimes the option to pick from them doesn’t come up, which is frustrating after I’ve spent time watching a ad. This was a bit upsetting being that I was looking forward to getting another Cheetah building. An answer from you would be very much appreciated. I do have a couple of questions? 1. Why do you continue to reward us with Golden Tickets in the Challenge when we already get them playing the Mayors Race? Why not reward us with storage items...we are busting at the seems since Club Wars started. 2. Maybe we could cash in so many Golden Tickets for special item, but make it affordable. Would love to hear from you folks being that I've been helping to support you this past year.....some more land would be nice also. Consistently perfect, until recently...I downloaded the game 2 days after it launched on iOS, not knowing what to expect. To my surprise it instantly became my favorite mobile game app. I've never agreed with the idea of in-app-purchases but Sim City Build It is the only game that I've actually spent money on. The fun factor, and replay value are simply unmatched. This game has been near flawless in my opinion. That is, until recently. I was excited when new city areas were introduced because it allowed me to experience the fun of designing a new layout from scratch. And the addition of seasonal and holiday events seemed promising. But then the game began crashing. CONSTANTLY. It's like the game can't handle all of the stuff that's happening on screen. If I switch to a different area map the game freezes then completely crashes. If I open the game and swipe on the screen before all of the intrusive game notifications pop up, the game freezes then completely crashes. If I try to interact with the game in any way before the intrusive on-screen notifications pop up, the game freezes then completely crashes! I thought it might have something to do with the version of iOS running on my phone but my software is up to date. I update the app as soon as an update is available on iOS. The problem continued even after I upgraded to an iPhone 11 pro max! I still love the game but these constant crashes are wearing on my patience..ThatDudeNamedRobVersion: 1.30.6

Difficulty/Sandbox modeI really like this game, and I haven’t found any bugs with it. But around level 10-15 it gets too hard to earn enough simoleons to buy hospitals, transportation, fire depts, etc. So I think a worthy addition to the game would be difficulty levels. Such as: Easy; faster production times, everything is cheaper (excluding the trade center), you earn more exp. and simoleons when you finish building/upgrading houses, and also earn extra exp. and simoleons and cash when you finish quests, building prices don’t rise when you build multiple (fire depts., police stations, etc.), and you are more likely to get special items when you tap a sim’s thought bubble. Normal; everything remains the same as it is now. Hard; longer production times, everything is more expensive (excluding the trade center), you earn less exp. and simoleons when you finish building/upgrading houses, and also earn less exp. and simoleons and cash when you finish quests, building prices rise even more than they would in normal difficulty, you’re even less likely to get special items when you tap a sim’s thought bubble, the pollution areas for factories are larger, and the affect area of parks and services is smaller. Another worthy addition (in my opinion) would be a sandbox mode, where you have unlimited resources, simoleons, cash, keys, and all the expansions are unlocked, the airport, port, Vu tower, etc. are also unlocked, everything in the build areas is unlocked (special houses, Maxis Manor, etc.). Basically you get to build anything you want and make your dream city without having to worry about anything. Algorithm UpdatesSuccess in this game requires heavy use of the Global Trade to find things to buy. SimCity has always used algorithms to determine what is offered to you to buy. For example, if you need specific items to upgrade a building, SimCity will filter these items out of the Global Trade, requiring you to spend even more time trying to find them. Eventually, perhaps after about 30 minutes of searching, the algorithm might allow one or two to appear. On the other hand, if you don't need a particular item, that item is much more likely to appear to buy. If you don't need them and already have several of them in your inventory, they are even more likely to appear. If you have some items, like hamburgers, for example, up for sale yourself, then dozens of them will appear on the Global Trade for you to buy because the algorithm has determined you are unlikely to need them. In this way, the algorithm modifies items on the Global Trade so that high demand always equals low (or nonexistent) supply and low demand always equals high supply. SimCity updates these algorithms in most patches. This latest patch has caused even low demand items to not appear on the Global Trade. I don't know exactly what was done, but now nearly all of the time I am offered about 7 different things. This prevents players from stocking up on items for future demand. Hopefully this gets fixed in the next update..Ring_zeroVersion: 1.19.2

I love the game!Hello, I love the game. I am a little addicted, as I have 2 big cities and a couple feeders. Haha! Anyways, I have a couple suggestions to make the game better. I was on a hiatus for about 2 years from the game and came back about a year and a half ago and started a new account. I currently love where I am at in terms of the game, have my storage built up and land unlocked. I spent the time when I was lower levels to unlock all the land and storage before moving up. My first suggestion is: seeing that I missed about 5 seasons of the old format of “mayor’s challenge seasons” I missed out on content that we can’t get anymore. Will you please start recycling through the old stuff and allow us to either purchase old special buildings and content for simoleans or simcash? I am thinking mostly of the Wild West themed buildings and the “wonders” stuff. That’s just an example of what I mean. New players missed that stuff and there is no way to get it back sadly. I am a paying customer, I buy the mayor’s pass and I usually buy the monthly simcash deal. So I do spend a little money on the game. The next suggestion I have is: can you please change the way we set prices on selling things? Instead of the current way to list things can you change it to make it so you can just type in the amount you want to list it for? Another suggestion I have and I am repeating what others have said in the past, can we please start selling omega items on the global market? Fun game, frustrated with storage upgradesOverall a decent game, the contest of mayors used to be fun. With the seasonal nonsense that’s been added, it’s more difficult to get the tickets necessary to play contest of mayors. Always running out of tickets which ruins contest of mayors. Wish the company wasn't so greedy so buying or earning game cash or items with that game cash was reasonably priced. Trying to build up storage is completely ridiculous, so many items needed and cash is too expensive so my storage is ALWAYS full and that makes playing the game very difficult. SO SAD THAT THE GAME IS ABOUT MAKING EXTREME AMOUNTS OF MONEY FOR THE COMPANY AND NOT ABOUT FUN. Now they even have ads that pop up while you’re playing just to sell more junk too. Overall, I love playing it, but will only change to 5 stars when the game is more fair and the company isn’t so greedy. All storage should either upgrade 10 at a time, or make storage and land items a little easier to get or we should need less items to upgrade each! I’ve been sketching maps ever since I was in 6th grade ( 12 years old ). Every time I would get bored at school I would randomly do maps and everyone would say “ is that gta 5 “? Lol I would tell them no it’s just a map I came up with randomly in my head. I want to possibly become a urban planner as a job soon ( I’m 17 ) I’m a junior in high school. I would love for you guys to add a bigfoot Forrest or something like that so it could scare my sims . I’m currently making a huge Forrest isolated from my Sim city adding lakes and multiple forest and ponds. I also add bear caves and campers . It looks so beautiful and reminds me of Arkansas my home state . Please guys add a Bigfoot creature to the game just like the bear cave you guys added and the Bigfoot would just stay in its forest isolated from everyone. I hope you guys visit my city and see my idea. It would mean a lot to add a Bigfoot forest guys. Awful and repetitiveI downloaded this game thinking that if I kept playing it, something new and exciting would actually happen. Turns out nothing happens, you’re in an endless loop of accidentally leveling up (which you don’t want to do because if you can’t afford citizens’ demands then you lose money) and then losing population, then you save up enough, fix the population, just for you to level up accidentally again. Another thing is the issue with trading. Why in the hell would it not tell me that the 5k worth of items that I changed my mind and hit cancel on would not return into my inventory? I spent a special dollar I saved up to basically throw away my nicest items. It should 1. Tell you you won’t get it back 2. Ask your permission to use a dollar to rush the advertisement/ throw out the item. Seriously why does it not ask? This isn’t a computer game it’s an app, and we click on things accidentally all the time. There should be a pop up asking the players permission to spend special currency. But I guess they don’t care about that because they hope eventually you accidentally spend half you saved up then run to them with REAL money so they can pocket it even though this isn’t a “building game” it’s a drag and drop, save up money, and freak out when everyone moves and you lose money. I recommend playing Freeplay instead of this one, because they actually let you progress in that game and the game is fast paced, creative (unlike this), and actually has new stuff every level that you like, not new stuff every level that screws over your progress. Good game but needs a updateThis game is fantastic I have been playing it for 2 years now but it needs a big update. There are lots of graphic glitches where the cars would phase through the train. But that is not the promblem. There should be a layout editor so I can easily edit my layout if I don’t like it. You should also be allowed to put the train tracks on a bridge that part which they didn’t add for the trains just didn’t make sense to me. A really cool idea for the train tracks is being able to raise and lower them just like how Chicago has that. The last big update this game had was a year ago which was bringing out the trains into the game. All of the past updates have been just new boring mayor passes which has terrible rewards unless you buy the mayors pass. This game also needs to be more easier to progress in for free to play players(like me). Because I have been playing this game for 2 years and haven’t even reached level 30. And I have. You make it really hard to progressI have been playing this game since it came out in 2014, this game is one of my childhood games, but over the years I have seen this game getting harder, and when I mean harder you guys make it almost impossible to play this game. Here’s wut I mean, if you first download this game you will first say like oh this shouldn’t be that hard to progress, BUT, once you are above like level 23 everything seems to get harder, the chances of getting expansion items for your city and your storage start decreasing. I am like level 31 in the game, and I only seem to get 1 expansion item per week. It’s very frustrating, here is another example, when epic projects were first released it wouldn’t be impossible or easy to get to the cheetah token, it would be just right. Now in 2020, you guys make it like 200 epic points to at least get to the lama token, like what the hell is that!!! I thought I could just deal with all that but later on I started playing the game less, because I wasn’t able to expand my city. My city was literally being suffocated, I couldn’t do anything I couldn’t upgrade any houses, now here is ANOTHER thing, when your leveling up the demand for houses gets higher and higher, like why do I need a burger to build a house?? Wonderful game!I really enjoy this game so far. i’ve only had it for around 2 days, but i’m already on level 13! i love how it doesn’t take time for the building upgrades to finish, for it only takes from 5-20 seconds in a stunning time-lapse process. you also don’t have to pay for main road extensions, which is great for players and awfully realistic for this kind of game. i also enjoy the fact that EA took great measure to ensure that their game had an accurate representation of pollution in several of the buildings, such as the Coal Power Plant or the Factories. they also included population, which efficiently helps upgrade your city. i’d also like to point out the Simoleons you obtain from residential upgrades is very realistic, as more people pay taxes for the mayor and the government. i know i’ve been pointing out everything i adore about this game, but truly, in my opinion, there’s nothing wrong with this game. one more thing- the thought bubbles above the buildings. some will give you efficient store items if clicked, some give you compliments, and some notify you they’re not getting power, water, sewer outflow, etc. i really believe Electronic Arts did an exquisite job with this game. i’d love to see more games as time goes on!.Snowstorm9595Version: 1.28.2

GoodI’ve been playing this game for a long time. It’s good, I enjoy it and like building type games. But there can always be use for improvements. My main issue is when building up my total capacity in storage capacity of materials. I’ll get to a certain max capacity and game take away the capacity the next time I go into the game. For example I’ll build my storage capacity to 325 play the game several times then at random I go to play and my storage capacity has dropped to 315, 305, and 295. There’s no way to get the capacity back except for earning materials to increase the capacity again. That’s not so easy to do and frustrating for me because I always have large amounts and selection of materials on hand. I always play connected to WiFi but there is a an issue with this. There’s some other things that would be better like earning game dollars easier instead of having to buy, or lowing the game dollar amount to buy things. Most things are high game dollars to buy. Or when purchasing game dollars you get more when having to buy. The game has added all new upgrades to all the services (police, fire, health, etc) and it’s costing a huge amount of Simsleons to pay for each upgrade. Good game but some things need to be fixed.I’ve been playing this game for a few years now and I like seeing all the mew exciting changes. However, I find it so difficult to expand my city and city storage. Especially when I need to collect these items that take forever to get all and take up half of my city storage. Also, please make the Global Trade HQ easier to use by adding a search bar for the thing you need, not having to wait 30 seconds and hope the item you need will appear. Please add an option to stop upgrading buildings. I don’t need a thousand skyscrapers in my city. It doesn’t look realistic. I really like the idea of the regional cities but there are a few things that should be worked out. One: Why is it if I have three regional homes and one regular home, the demand for any service is seven? Shouldn’t it be four like in the capital city. Epic Buildings need to go back to 10I have had this game for a long time on many different accounts and have built a lot of cities. I remember when Omega was first introduced and when the mountain was put in! I also remember when Epic buildings were added to the game. It required 10 epic tokens to make that special building produce bronze tokens. The change you guys made needs to be undone. 40!!!! Really? That’s a bit excessive for a building to produce bronze tokens. That was really crappy of you. PS please for gods sake remove the club wars! This isn’t clash of clans. This game used to be a relaxing game where you can build your own little world and now it’s turn into pay to make your city better than everyone else. One last thing that needs to change is the traffic jams. There will literally be no traffic on the road and people will move out because of traffic jams. Come on that’s dumb, especially because there is a loop hole. Just bulldoze the road and then immediately replace it. Game is really fun! One thing that would make things smooth for club members..I really enjoy playing this game it almost gives me a Sid Meiers civilization (which I also enjoy playing!) except without the worry of being attacked by barbarians or competing civilizations-unless participating in club wars of course. The only thing I would ask that become available on the next update would be the ability to trade goods or simoleons directly with club members. I joined a trading club in hopes to be able to trade my goods for those that I need to expand and improve my city but the way we have to go about it is a bit difficult. If I’m looking to buy x5 shovels from a member of my club; the other member has to post the items to there trade depot w/out advertising; then let me know it’s posted; am I have to rush over to their depot in hopes the goods haven’t been grabbed by someone else. A way around this that I would suggest is a separate transaction system used between members where goods can be posted in private(so no one else can grab them) and so each party can access it at there availabile time w/out the worry of losing out on the deal. And this game is amazing because I recently found out that later in this game, the sims start giving you video bubbles which you can get money from. Also later, you get to start a daily chest that can give you money, or materials. Use you're money wisely or you'll run out of it! Also be careful using your coins (I can't spell that other word for the coins). You will need them. I ran into a real challenge when I did not have enough coins at the fire station part. I could not make fire stations, and so some sims left there homes. There is some things I'd like to say. 1. You should not have to pay for more money. Instead, you should be able to go into the money and pay with coins, like you do with coins. You click the add coins, then you can get more coins using your money. 2. You actually have to wait like 20 minutes for materials to finish being made! You should, be able to wait like a minute! 3. When you get the part where you have to fight monsters, you do it once, then you can't get the materials because you don't know how! That's all I have to say. I love this game but I CAN’T PROGRESSSo I would actually give this game a four or five star, but I am SO FRUSTRATED because I can’t make any more progress in the game. Here’s why: 1) Trying to expand land takes waaaaay too long, because the items needed to expand are near impossible to get! At the beginning of the game you get the items a lot, but after your city reaches a certain level, you have like a 1% chance of getting ONE of those items. Enjoyable until it asks for things you can’t getI downloaded this game because it seemed very similar to the DOS version of SimCity I used to play many years ago. The first part of the game was very exiting and I really enjoyed building homes and roads and factories. And getting my city to grow. I was on the phone at any moment I could. The more I did the more requirements kept me pumped up. But it gets to a point when I started to get into Mayor contests and it starts asking for wars between cities. That makes this too complicated for what I am willing to play. Also the building upgrades requests items that I cannot produce or buy like a sweater or bread. Then the upgrades requests things that take 5 or more hours to make turning it hardly impossible to complete the task without being stuck to the phone practically all day. I think a game like this should allow the user to play at leisure. I don’t have time to dedicate only to a game. I would love a game that stays simple and keeps me engaged. Fun game but gets boring.This is a good game, the graphics gameplay and strategy are exciting and different. But after you build your city up, one day you will hit a wall. The game ceases to be fun and becomes tedious and small. I’ve hit the wall, and now barely play the game anymore. The challenges become overwhelming at times only because you are so restricted with supply depot size and city size, both because it becomes almost impossible to find the special items you require to grow either. Eventually, the global trade center will become useless. It will always be full of the same 4-5 high level items that nobody can use in their own city and so become flooded into the market. You are forced to build these same items for some challenge and then find out they are completely useless to you as well. You can’t use them to build any other items, you can’t use them for building homes, and you will have a hard time selling them because it’s the same items everybody sells. They just become a waste of supply space. As you raise your city level, the game really makes it harder and harder to succeed without paying real money for special items or sim cash. I used to really enjoy playing this game but have become bored with sitting endlessly in the global market hoping for an expansion item to pop up so I can finally expand my land or supply. Money PitThis game is a complete money pit. You have no choice but to pay to expand and when you do it becomes a slippery slope and you keep paying. The algorithm is such that no matter what you will have to fork over money to advance in this game. As a kid I really enjoyed playing the Sim City Franchise but with the advent of “In-App-Purchases” you end up paying hundreds of dollars for a game that you can never really advance in. It’s a total waste of time and money and in my opinion its really unfair to the consumer to constantly charge for a game that you will never advance in. It’s really turned me off to the Sim City line. I would say this, Charge me $50 for the full game and offer expansion packs that i can decide if I want want to pay for. Don’t nickel and dime the player to death because at some point they will abandon the game and you will lose a loyal fan forever. The game has some good points but its the annoying things like the Vu Tower. You summon a disaster but then end up waiting days to rebuild unless you have some unattainable upgrade that guess what…you have to purchase in order to keep playing. Or how about city expansion. Money. Money. Money.All they care about is money. It is very addictive gameplay wise, but it’s very hard to make a substantial amount of in game currency without opening your wallet. Every time I produce items that take longer than 5 minutes to finish production, it asks if I want to watch a video to complete the process. Every. Single. Time. If I declined the offer the first 5 times what makes you think I wanna say yes immediately after that? Expanding the city also becomes increasingly difficult as the parts you need to do so rarely come by, that is if you don’t spend money on the game. Another problem is with the amount of currencies they have. It’s hard to keep up when there are too many different types. Platinum keys, gold keys, Simoleons, NeoSimoleons, Cash, Wave, Cactus, Lime, Fish, and Leaf simoleons. Cash is one of the harder ones to obtain and it’s needed for pretty much everything. You want to be able to mass produce things while you’re away? Spend money or win a contest. You wanna win a contest so you don’t have to spend money to earn cash? Not gonna happen because other players spent enough to win the contests leaving you behind with little to nothing for participating. Horrible Seasonal Currency and FORCED Progression Stop, despite paying for pass. Worst Update EverThis latest update is the worst ever. I have lost a fair amount of interest in the game. Having your progress forcibly stopped after a certain number of points is unacceptable, in my opinion (with or without paying for the Premium+ Mayor’s Pass - which I did and feel robbed). There was no warning about this change, especially when purchasing the pass. They recently sent a notice that they have heard all the complaints and we got some reward, but they didn’t bother to share what the so-called reward was and it certainly wasn’t anything helpful. Then they said, don’t worry if you missed getting a building because it will be available at a discount later - a DISCOUNT- really?!?! So now I have to pay something for a building I SHOULD have been able to earn my way to? I don’t feel ‘rewarded’ for being a dedicated player of this game for years! Also, what is up with the stupid ice creams??? There is no area that shows how many you’ve collected and then spent on the ‘Missions’ to then SUPPOSEDLY earn some very minimal amount of snowflake currency. You can’t actually EARN your way to the buildings required to complete the album. Since those buildings are rather ugly this time around and the album rewards seem minimal, I just decided to forget worrying about that part of the game. Somewhat Fun Game But A Broken Game Economy With Greedy DevelopersI’ve had this game downloaded for a very long time now and after revisiting it I realized again how pointless and ridiculously broken the game is. It’s a fun game when you first start playing but as you progress it becomes ever more increasingly difficult to simply play the game. The more you level up the more you have to spend in game currency while needing more and more resources just to make a little money. Your progression slows way down and it becomes obvious that the developers only want you to spend real money on in game currency just to play a monotonous game whose in game economy is pathetic and you must wait hours just to collect resources at a novice game level. The game has plenty of ways to earn “rewards” but these rewards simply consist of irrelevant currencies that never include the main coins used in the game. There are infinite ways to lose coins and only a few ways to slowly make them while also losing far more resources than you are compensated for. This game could easily be a 5 star game if the developers were focused on creating a player friendly in game economy but seeing as they obviously are not, and are so obviously only interested in trying to force ads and in game purchases on players, this game remains an aggravating example of a potentially great game ruined by incredibly greedy and terrible developers..Goalie king 02Version: 1.47.2

UghI am getting EXTREMELY tired of the mechanic where an item is in great abundance on the market but takes HOURS to find the second you have a construction that requires it. There is no freaking way it is a coincidence. I know you think it’s smart to make it more difficult to find so your brain releases endorphins when you find it or whatever but TONE IT DOWN!!! The annoyance I suffer far out weighs any relief when I find the item. And when you do and press on it someone has already bought it. I’ve been looking for canned fish for over an HOUR. It wasn’t that hard to find right before I needed it. It’s not like it’s rare at all!!! I’m legitimately considering deleting the game just because it’s become such a time consuming process to upgrade this one building that requires it. Furthermore, they just recently added mandatory advertisements that pop up when you try to make something in your factory and you can’t exit out of them. It’s never beneficial, even it auto completes whatever you’re creating, more times than not you get a mandatory advertisement when you’re creating metal which only takes 60 seconds to complete and the ad is half that long. Very poor performance on a good expensive PhoneSimcity Buildit expects you to watch video/interactive advertisements for free random items and instant item production. If you don't watch the repetitive garbage, then your game performance will suffer. I know for a fact that these cause the lag and low frame rate. After a while of watching many of them, they stop appearing for the rest of the day and the game goes back to speed. It also is very smooth when you are on offline mode, but when you connect then connect it starts to lag after a few minutes (b/c the advertisements were downloading and probably running in the background). As well as the advertisements making the game laggy and very low frame rate, it takes a lot of cellular data (unlike when i first had the game that had no advertisements). There really shouldn't be over 1gb of data used in under a week. Keep in mind the whole time i never clicked on any advertisements, but that doesn't matter to the developers, they want make your phone download videos and use a lot of your data either way. The game should request an advertisement when you accept to watch an advertisement instead without even clicking on the icon. For someone who doesn't have unlimited data, the large data used all mainly from advertisements without accepting to watch them is purely disgusting. Ridiculous In-App purchasesOverall I did enjoy some aspects of this app. As an aspiring architect I downloaded this game expecting the whole “you have to pay to get this exclusive building” with a few buildings. But here’s the thing. Almost EVERY nice building/placeable item is expensive. Not to mention the cash in game is RIDICULOUSLY expensive. 50$ for like 2900 cash? Yeah no thanks. Plus, it is almost impossible to gain the larger and more eco friendly factories/power/water etc. Also, in the beginning they do not tell you about any of the fire stations and stuff you need later on, so I went about my game until I realized I had to redesign my entire city to place one fire station in. I ended up redownloading the game and starting all over. I just think it’s extremely dumb to have levels in this game? And have to expand your city land? With items that I almost never get??! It’s insanity! The only good thing about this game is designing a city. But they make it so hard - and the buildings are too expensive for the amount of coins normal players have. Fun but frustrating sometimesHonestly, I really like this game. There have been many times when I’ve played it over the last few years and I’ve really enjoyed it. I love different aspects of the city, especially the different services. It’s always so detailed. I love looking around other peoples city at the intricate streets and buildings. They only downside I’ve had in this game is the item production and trading portion of the game. Mainly, it’s difficult to get items you actually need in the trading post. Your constant looking for items like Nails or Hammers (later in the game, it’s harder things to make), but it’s only ever iron and other factory made things. It gets worse as the game progresses. For example, once you’re able to buy and produce sugar and spice, the whole trade post is stuffed full with just that one item. And at the point that item becomes available, it’s not really even needed. The problem boils down to the fact that players aren’t encouraged to post things that are of necessity to lower level players once it become in surplus to them. They find them selves simply using the trade post to clear room in their storage (which is ALWAYS full). In conclusion my recommendation is to add incentives to higher level players to post enough supplies to supply lower level players. Additionally, city storage and production could be tweaked to be less...frustrating. So you don’t feel like you’re fighting the UI and the structure of the game constantly to in order to achieve your goal, which in most cases is to build or upgrade more buildings..Thegreatdave001Version: 1.28.4

Horrible updateThe 2.0 upgrade was horrible. EA shifted away from service buildings such as fire, health, and police stations covering a set range of space to only covering a set number of homes. This means that you have to spend a significant amount of money just to upgrade the service buildings to cover the number of homes in whatever area the services are placed. Additionally, EA stated that this upgrade would reduce the amount of services needed including water, electricity, etc. The reality is that they lied since I still need the same amount of services to maintain the amount of homes I have. I also would require more police, fire, and health stations to maintain the homes I have. So they basically lied. They gave me 80K coins and I needed 1.6 millions coins to upgrade all of the service buildings in my city. Now, I’m forced to either completely rearrange my city and pay for new services + upgrading the buildings, or take my loses and delete the app. I have spent over 6 years building my city, I have no Omega homes and focused on building mini cities within my city. I still haven’t upgraded to the full map and currently only occupy half the map. I haven’t even hit 1 million residents so my city is still relatively small. EA ruined this game with this upgrade! They want users to spend more time playing the game with little to no reward since it’ll take significantly more time to purchase the upgrades..JoiokepaVersion: 1.74.2

Enjoyable but money hogI came into this remembering the old PC-based Sim City version. That game was a masterpiece. So, I thought Sim City Build It would replicate this experience on my iPad. This is not Sim City. While the graphics are good, and the game play is smooth, this is a simpler version. But it’s habit forming, and addictive — which I guess means it’s a good game. The issue is that there’s no way you can enjoy the game without making a bunch of in-app purchases, and those are not cheap. Game play will slow to a crawl if you try to play on the cheap. You come into the game with a small amount of in-game currency that gets used up pretty quickly. You need factories to build the supplies needed for buildings and commercial establishments to sell their products. Some of those building materials take hours to build. You can speed up the process for a fee. Some of the buildings need materials from the commercial establishments (like a hammer). So, your factories build materials so that the stores can build materials. It take minutes to hours for the stores to make those supplies. You can speed it up for a fee. You’ll need to expand your city as space fills up pretty quickly. That takes special tokens that can take forever to accumulate on your own. So, you spend more money….and so on. Stop the mass transit milestone!I’ve played for several years. I have a level 99 city & a level 79 city. I spend lots of real money, but I will quit this game if mass transit milestones continue. One of my cities is a beta tester for mass transit, I have a COM milestone assignment for mass transit. The number of hours necessary to complete that assignment are 125. There possibly may be just enough time to complete it providing I am online at 1 am when COM starts, I get the milestone at the beginning of COM & I am available every 2.5 hours to dispatch a train for 5 solid days. Once I’ve dispatched trains 250 times, I should have enough train simoleons to buy a train that carries 30 passengers instead of just 20 so I can reduce that 125 hours to 83 hours. You can use 32 simcash to skip the 2.5 hours, but you still have to wait for passengers. If I were to use simcash to complete the entire assignment, it would cost 1,600. If I took first prize in COM I will have only made 400 simcash; however, if I take 2nd place, I will have lost 600 simcash. I accept that i may be wrong, that possibly I’m missing something about mass transit, but I can’t seem to find information to change my opinion. There are so many other issues that I have with these trains, but my main purpose for playing SimCity is for COM, if I have mass transit milestones, I may as well quit. EA do better w/some suggestionsI’ve been playing this since it first came out and it’s changed so much. Some in good ways and others in bad. I’m not surprised by the fact that this game is heavily money based, EA is like this with many of their games, but I wish it wasn’t, and it’s only getting worse. Some suggestions I have for the game are: put some more effort into the season passes. I mean seriously you guys used have elaborate and incredible buildings as season rewards. Everything is so generic and just disappointing now. The last season pass that was even remotely worth buying was the Italian themed one from last year. The new war pass is really frustrating, especially because, again, you have to pay for everything. My other suggestion is, create separate storage for war items like you do for omega stuff. My club goes to war all the time so I have so much of my storage taken up with war related items. The raising prices of omega related buildings is so ridiculous. I wish you guys would add a search bar for the global trade hq and get rid of population requirement to unlock regional expansions. Not everyone plays to get a high population count some people play to make aesthetically pleasing cities. The pros for this game is getting to create a beautiful and fulfilling city, but it’s so challenging and time consuming. Club wars and contest of the mayors are really great additions to the game. Railroads are still not connecting to bridges Update: Service 2.0 has further ruined the gameI contacted customer support about the bug that has caused railroads to not connect to bridges. They told me to update the app, but I’ve already updated to the most recent version. This update is when this bug popped up in the first place. I’ve reinstalled the game multiple times and still hasn’t fixed this bug with the railroad bridges. Get your act together EA! Update: They fixed the glitch involving railroads not connecting to bridges, so I will give EA credit for listening to gamers on that. However since then they introduced Service 2.0, which has completely ruined the game. My cities were getting perfect marks until this feature was added to recent updates. It appeared to initially be optional before they made it mandatory and as a result my cities’ services have been wrecked. I went from perfectly covering my sim’s with all services to now being constantly behind thanks to this unnecessary feature. This is leading me to seriously consider dropping this game after years of time and effort expanding my cities. Missing the spirit of originalStarted playing SIM city on a Mac Classic II when the wee screens were grey scale. It is the game that got me hooked on gaming.
