NKJV Bible (Audio & Book) Customer Service

I purchased this app to enable me to listen to have the NKJV on audio. I speak in various venues and am converting my brain from thinking in KJV to the NKJV. I’ve been listening to Acts, and the voice of the primary reader sounds quite fuzzy and indistinct. HOWEVER, the reader for the voice of Peter is excellent! Is this difference the result of the recording process or the voices of the readers?? Good question. Thanks for this product. Yes, I recommend the purchase of this app.

This Bible app is exactly what I was looking for — dramatized NKJV with text and audio at an affordable price, under $5! At first I thought that I could not change the font size, but I was wrong. Tap the screen and you will see F+ and F-. Tap to make the [F]ont smaller or larger. While the text and audio are not in sync, since I have to do the scrolling, I am kept on my toes and I don’t “zone out.” You find the correct chapter by hitting the audio and book icons at the center bottom. Start the audio and then return to the book/text. If you want to pause the reading, tap the Player icon at the far left bottom to Pause. I’m not tech savvy, but I learned how to operate after a couple weeks of trial and error. Excellent reading/audio quality, and no translation beats the New King James Version (NKJV). For the price, an EXCELLENT app. The Word of Promise is roughly the same thing, but it takes up so much storage and is $40, almost ten times more expensive. I highly recommend this app as a perfect alternative.

Just purchased this app today and so far I love it. There are 2 modes: audio & text. In audio mode: The Old Testament Audio is Dramatized and narrated by Stephen Johnson (who did similar audio for KJV years back) and New Testament audio is also dramatized but read by a different narrator I'm not familiar with. Both Testaments have dramatic music in background. The Audio works independently from the texts (in other words the audio and texts don't sync w/ one another). In text mode there is no note taking or highlighting, just bookmarking. But for $5 I have a great audio Bible. :)

This app works like intended. The audio for NKJV is good. But if you have to reload this app for any reason- you have to repay the initial subscription. It does not appear in the App Store as an app that you have already bought. So this is now the 3rd time I've had to buy this app. This is the only app that has worked this way for me. It's hard to contact the creators of app to get money back or resolve this issue.

I thoroughly enjoy the sound effects, but some of the voices sound a little silly. For instance, a man trying to sound like a lady, or a child and it is completely obvious. Also, chapter 6 is missing from 2 Kings. It literally jumps from chapter 5 to chapter 7. I’m listening chronologically so I haven’t had much experience with the NT yet. Overall, it is worth the money.

This app is great for NKJV audio! I downloaded it because the YouVersion Bible App doesn’t have the NKJV version on audio and I am memorizing Romans currently in NKJV. If you want to use it for reading tho I definitely would not recommend this app. It’s not very coherently written. The YouVersion Bible app is definitely way better for that! But I downloaded it for the audio and I am not disappointed!! Great app!

The narration is excellent and the sound effects are pleasing. I also love the new king James that it’s excellent translation. It helps me so much early in the morning before work while I’m trying to get some of the wording me and yet trying to get things ready for the day ahead.

Love this audio bible. They use different voices for all different characters and narrators of the stories. Musical scoring in the background. Easy to navigate. Side question. Is the anyway to get a credits list. Who the voice actors are’???

Downloaded this app, after I paid for it, now six months later it is still not working; just an icon on my phone. No refund, no response regarding the app at all. If I could rate it a 0 I would.

Was using an ap for NIV but wanted a more literal translation. This NKJV is great to use with my nkjv study bible. The voice of Jesus in revelation is perfect. Wish I knew who the readers are. Other aps listed readers. And the background noises are just right for setting the tone of the readings.

I have downloaded an audio bible once, and the navigation was quite confusing. This one makes it easy for me to navigate and enjoy listening to the bible.

As noted, the App is an excellent audio tool, but there are no other usable features or functions. No search function, topic illumination, etc.

Technology can be a good thing. Carrying an expanded library of The Bible in any version and language gives anyone The Sword they need to fight any struggle life throws in front of you.

The chapters are not I order during audio play. It plays out of order!

Listening to Rev 20:1 to the end of the chapter in Peter’s voice is very very wonderful. You have to hear it.

I am a Bible College student. And this by far is the best one ive found yet for “on the go” scripture listening,study and intake. Its easily navigated and doesnt have a million buttons & options to have to deal with. The dramatization is of good content and not overpowering. This audio bible is almost identical to the Word of Promise edition, only this one is $40.00 cheaper!!!!! Just Get It!!!!

Why does the audio bible always jumps back to a predetermined chapter or book rather than staying at the last listen to book and chapter

Unfortunately the NT audio quality is pretty bad. The player doesn't automatically progress to the next book, even after pressing the forward button. The "settings" section doesn't actually have any settings at all, only contact & review options. If this app was free i wouldn't make a big deal out of it, but at this price i was expecting a better overall quality.

The app is good but with one major issue in my opinion - after going through all the chapters of a book, it switches back to the first chapter of the same book instead of continuing on to the next book. If they fix this issue, this is a good app which is reasonably priced.

I really like the audio of this app. It presents very well. The problem is that you cannot just listen through the Bible. If you stop for more than a few hours, it randomly picks a spot that it claims you left off at. Making it very difficult to just doa successive read through over a period of weeks. If it would just hold your spot, it would be so much better. Instead, it’s really obnoxious.

Thank you for the update to put the audio in the correct order. That was a great improvement! It went from one star to three in my opinion. Would you update it to have the text flow along with the audio? If so, it would become a five star app in my opinion.

Every time I open my iPad, this app starts playing. If I’m watching or listening to something else, this app breaks in and starts playing. I have not found any settings to control this. There is a play button or a pause button, and it plays whenever it feels like it.

I wish there is something in the settings to adjust and set it up to continue from where I left off. Whenever I get into my car, it always starts from Genesis 1 even though I finished chapter 17 already. There should be a way to set it to start from where the listener left off.

Not what I wanted, my bad. I’ve been using free NASB audio bible and wanted to try NKJV. Now I remember why I chose NIV & NASB over NKJV many years ago. Plays music in background behind audio readings. When in book view, doesn’t change chapters in sync with audio. Not returning. Will keep.

When I attempt to open this application I can only see a white screen: nothing else. I’ve deleted it and re-installed it and the same thing: a white screen. I’ve lost $5.00 and there doesn’t seem to be any easy wY to get my money back. Very disappointed. Was so looking forward to listening to HIS word.

This is the worst Bible app I have ever had the experience of using. This App is not organized at all. Regardless of any book NONE of the chapters are in sequential order, I have to search for the next chapter, I hate this particular app. Why would you put something out like that? I am thoroughly disappointed? I wish there was a way I can get a refund.

I purchased this app, it worked fine for a while now it’s not working at all. I’ve tried deleting and reinstalling but nothing seems to work. I wouldn’t be so upset if I would’ve gotten it for free.

Only the first chapter of each book loads. Tried delete and re-install, same issue. ‘Contact Us’ does not function.

If I could leave zero stars I would. I noticed text was left out from scripture. Not sure intentional or not, But the Word of God should be complete.

It does not play in sequential order. For example, it will play Genesis 1 then Genesis 12 next....

All I got was a white screen. I figure I just threw away $5.

Numbers 34-35-36. It’s totally different. It needs to be fixed. The audio is very good but when the Bible you paid for inserts places that don’t match up... Be careful! I’m going through the whole Bible and will advise where I find mistakes!

Doesn't open on my iPhone 7 plus, but it does work on my iPad Pro 9.7 and 5th gen iPod touch. Running the same iOS on the iPad as on the iPhone. The iPod touch runs iOS 7 I think. Disappointing that it doesn't work on the iPhone. Also, I expected a few more features based on the App Store description. It is basically the same as another NKJV Audio app that I have downloaded, except that the other app works on my iPhone.

Seems to be the only NKJV audio bible available. Not too bad overall, but the voice acting for. Christ squire frankly terrible. Christ comes across generally as weak. Nervous, neurotic. Not bold, strong, authoritative and gracious. Needs a redo!
