Great arcade style plane shootin' game!If you played Sky Force 2014, this is almost the exact same game, but with a lot of new features (and a new story and bosses). If you aren't familiar with SF2014, but are familiar with Galaga, you have found yourself a game that is similar, but with jets, planes, and tanks on Earth (or something Earthlike) rather than a ship flying around in outer space. Also iDreams just did an update on SF2014, so they're obviously still investing time in their old product, on top of this fantastic new "reloaded" game. Relating to SF2014: this also has Cards, but additionally there are "temporal" cards which give a 15 minute perk rather than a permanent upgrade. New features: a Trophy you can see of each boss you defeat, plus the attempts and date achieved for each difficulty; Technicians which stay with your ship and have different perks; 9 different ships to unlock (5 parts each, scattered around the Stages like Cards); a Prestige system that is akin to the Achievements, but are separate from that on GameCenter, and they unlock the Technicians; Sharing of several features (like the boss Trophies). Like I previously said, this is almost the same as SF2014 but with many new features. Imagine SF2014 was a 2 year Beta to figure out the basics, and this is the final product, where they tweaked existing features, and added a whole lot more!.ZombieFarmGameFanVersion: 1.80

The best in a long timeThis game is the best by far so far.. I am 51 years old, my generation was the first to discover and play video games, from Atari, pong to pac man. So Skyforce R has all of the fun, excitement, humor and killer graphics that it is an awesome game.. I would recommend it to everyone at every age. It doesn’t have the blood and guts splattering all over the place which makes it great for every age in my opinion. Now I don’t write reviews unless it is absolutely astonishing to me, so far this is my 4th one out off 200 apps, or so. So to the developers, keep it up, this is exactly what my friends and I look for in a game, job well done.. of course you will always have negative reviews, can’t make everyone happy, but I think you made something that actually got my attention, which is hard. I own 4 companies, I do well, and of course I always give what is given to me ( money to unsuspecting people, in public) without anyone knowing my name, which is returning what is given.. Packed with content!For an iOS game, the graphics are stunning. The Reloaded version comes with several ways to progress through the game. There are multiple "technicians" to collect, which alter the way your plane behaves in the game; there are several achievements to earn which lead to new technicians; new planes - each with their own abilities; and there are new levels to enjoy. The tournament will keep you busy competing with friends, too. If you haven't played this game before give it a shot. It has everything to keep you entertained for months. I would've paid for this game in a heartbeat. I can't believe it's free! Please, keep new levels/planes/technicians/achievements coming. I would like to see this game bridge the gap between console games and traditional iOS games. If the developers would introduce new content every few months, they could easily keep devoted fans entertained, while also getting new players on board. I imagine "map packs" with one or two new planes, a new technician, and a new level coming out every three months or so. Longest Kept title on my IPad ProThis game is simply awesome, graphics are sweet, sound is good. Ads are often but short (5sec’s, or about 25secs for another turn if our of turns or doubling your stars) $2 to remove the ads is a small price to pay for a developer that deserves the support. You can easily go the free to play route, if your willing to do a real life job for free yourself… High replay value, good for both killing a hour or 3 mins. Lastly, it will wake your under used brain up and build hand eye coordination, there gets to be ALOT happening on the screen at times, but that’s partly what makes it fun and a challenge. I know that all sounds to flowery, but I haven’t come across anything to complain about. Look, I’m 60yrs old and finishing this game (getting all medals) is gonna be rough, so I don’t know anything about end game on this. But, if I still had kids this would be one of a few games I wouldn’t stop them from playing (for reasonable amounts of time). My favorite game right nowKudos to the developer! This game is like Groundhog Day and the Matrix in tiny servings. Let me explain. So you start off as a capable but weak ship able to make it through a level. You destroy baddies and collect stars and it feels good. But then there are the achievements you want to get so you play the same level over and over and you begin to memorize them. This is where you start to feel like Neo (Matrix) and Phil (Groundhog Day). You know there will be a barrage of planes on the left, there are two humans who need rescue on the right and there is a tank launching projectiles at you. Right now you’re too weak to complete all your objectives but each time you make it thru you get a little bit stronger. You upgrade, you run again, you upgrade and then you DO IT!!! And that feeling is so awesome!! I’m only on level 4 and I’m enjoying this game so much! Best action shooting game I’ve ever played 🤩No exaggeration here, I’ve played a lot of games from spending quarters at arcades to Home computers: DOS and Windows (various numbers), Macintosh, and iPhone. Sky Force (both versions; for now namely RELOADED) is magnificent. Flawless graphics, smooth gameplay, reasonable and timely upgrades, goals and rewards are given for outstanding performance. The “stages” start out easy (each has difficulty levels) then you progress, each stage can contain enemy aircraft, ground offenses such as cannons, lasers, tanks, railways and naval ships. Plus there are people to rescue! THIS GAME IS SIMPLY AMAZING IN DESIGN AND PERFORMANCE. I’ve been playing for 5 years and it doesn’t get old. I still have levels that are not completed because they are too difficult, or I’m too busy looking at objects on the screen to know what to do (“were those UFOS that just whizzed past?”). Amazing!I'm. It the type to review games, mostly cause I think it is pointless because c'mon, who reads this crap anyway. This game deserves a review because it is amazing and is a success in so many ways. First of all, there is IAP but it's definitely it pay to win. I made it through much of he game without spending a cent but ended up buying IAP to avoid ads because I truest feel this dev deserves my support and I want to give it to them. This game is easy to play but takes time to master. Yeah you have to replay the levels in order to get the stars you need to fully upgrade your ship but he levels are lots of fun. There is lots of content and lots more to the game besides playing the easy difficulty on all the levels. Get all the medals for a real challenge. Download this game, you won't be disappointed. One of the top games in the App StoreI have been following this game series since the first one came out and loving every minute! Make no mistake this is a tough as nails SHMUP that is certainly not for the faint of heart. Difficulty is perfectly balanced to be frustratingly gratifying. There's no room for error once you reach the third difficult the level. The graphics are crisp and clean and the controls are better than any old Nintendo SHMUP. It is very satisfying to collect the stars too. I'm not a huge fan of waiting for upgrades but in a way it adds a satisfying element to the game too because you notice a difference each day when you login and your upgrades have completed. I greatly appreciate that this game is developers allows us to purchase as well instead of squeezing us for every drop. Love it but needs moreI finished the game and love it but it needs more levels like could you make chapter 2? Or more bonus levels and different upgrades like side upgrade for example the main canon can penetrate through enemy's and objects, max health can be increased with faster regeneration (if you have the card), wing cannon shoots faster, missiles explode in a radius damaging nearby enemy's or objects, magnet has larger range and with negative force can slow down enemy bullets, laser is wider and last longer, shield can deflect enemy projectiles including lasers and increases the shield resistance and it will not break, and mega bob it is more destructive and instead of one bomb it explodes more one after another and please please please change the card radar and add more cards! Awesome time killlerBest game I’ve played that doesn’t exaggerate with the ads. Yes they are annoying but they’re 5 second shippable ads. Smooth graphics and controls. Nice 3D elements in the game for what’s suppose to be a 2D game. Stage 5 is your go to stage to collect stars to upgrade your planes. There is an option to remove ads, X2 stars and speed up for plane upgrades which are a couple dollars each which isn’t a lot compared to other games that’ll charge $10. If you’re looking to play this game all day you might have to consider spending stars to replenish your attempts that refresh 1 every hour. Or you can use stars to speed up the process. Everything you could want in an old school scrolling shooter!(I have no connection to the developer. I’m just a supportive fan) This developer is doing everything right: 1. Make a great little platform-style game that you can play for as little as 2-3 min to hours at a time with an ever increasing progression of weapons, enemies, bosses, power-ups, etc. 2. Make it free to try... Get paid by running ads for the cheapskates and troglodytes who take pride in never paying a cent for a game they spend hundreds of hours playing. My addiction now has a nameI’d long since given up on phone games. Tired of angry birds, tiny wings and mindless repetitive grinding, I decided to just listen to music or read on the long train rides home. And then I downloaded this. It reminds me of some of my favorite plane shooters in the arcade and on Super Nintendo. The power up system is polished and seamless. The level of difficulty is perfect with enough challenge to keep me busy for hours. I also love how I am able to play this with one hand, a must for long train rides where I may be standing and holding onto a pole for balance. It’s great. I also like the option to turn down the in game volume so I can play while listening to my own music. This is an excellent game and I look forward to anything else from this stellar team. Amazing. Classic arcade style shooter!This game is infinitely replaceable. Even when you finish a level and you get all of the rewards, the stakes get higher and the difficulty will increase on that particular level. Collect stars to buy upgrades so that your ship becomes stronger and better and faster. Really great graphics super easy play ability one of my current favoriteGame for my iPad. The only downside that I can see is there isn’t a clear definition of how to use my mega bomb or some of the other bonus features. Excellent shooter w a few minor adjustments neededThis game is gorgeous on the ipad. I really like this game and have spent a few bucks to remove ads. Very responsive and generally an enjoyable game. Just a couple of things I'd like tweaked for more enjoyment. First, it's difficult to activate power ups in the middle of a battle. Taking your finger off the screen slows down the game but doesnt completely pause it, so you can still get blown up trying to select something. Would prefer on screen buttons to tap. Also the charge shot should be engaged with a second finger anywhere on the screen instead of right next to your ship, since its difficult to do when holding an ipad. Compared to console version it’s lacking.Pretty identical to console version except for “pay to win” micro transactions. Lifting your thumb/finger slows gameplay and is the only way to activate laser, shield, and mega bomb...very annoying. If pause and power ups were on the screen to the side or in the corners or maybe even update the settings to where you can actually customize the game to your liking it would improve quality of life. I also feel as though movement speed should be adjusted since you drag your finger instead of move a thumb stick. One control scheme your thumb/finger gets in the way of visuals causing untouched challenge to be frustrating at times. The other control scheme doesn’t work well with the slowdown upon lifted thumb. Nice looking and addictive, but...I died tapping all over the screen trying to find the invisible power up buttons. Now I have to wait 30 min to try again, might as well write a review... I would give this 5 stars, but I can’t even play 5 levels. How can you possibly progress when you can only play once every 25 min?? Oops you were killed in three seconds that time? Awesome game! Fair reward system!So this is a great arcade style game, lots of fun! You can earn stars in game to buy upgrades to many parts of your ship. There are different ships, technicians that give you bonuses, and there are power ups! I like this game even more because it doesn't require you to buy in app purchases to actually make progress, unlike so many lame games these days. I play this game so much that I did pay the couple dollars to remove ads. I suggest doing that right off the bat, you'll enjoy the game so much more without waiting for 30 seconds after every run. I..can’t...stop...Dude. THIS game. I have been hooked ever since it downloaded about a month ago. GREAT time killer or just when you’re laying in bed. It’s probably the best free game I’ve ever gotten. So many upgrades available and you don’t have to buy anything to have a good time and be successful. The in game purchases are also cheap (.99 to 1.99) and are totally worth the few bucks to have no ads, 2x star earning, and accelerated plane recovery. Quick tip: If you’re low on planes, play easier levels so you don’t lose your last plane and are then forced to wait for your planes to regenerate (1 plane per hour give or take). One of the best mobile gamesThis game keeps your attention when you play it extremely well. Each level is beautiful, well designed gameplay wise, and a unique challenge. Upgrades to your ship multiple difficulties for each level and different challenges for each level as well as a scoring system add so much longevity for the game. Did I mention the graphics are incredibly beautiful? With a well thought out, beautiful UI to top it off. Brilliant game but where to next?I absolutely love this game, by starting off very basic and levelling up as you play it creates an awesome want and need to be continuously improving your abilities and replaying levels. The nightmare difficulty setting that unlocks once you complete all the missions is brilliant! The only problem now is I have all my planes and all of them on maximum level, so I am kind of losing interest as there is no motivation besides finishing all the nightmare levels to continue. Not “fair”While I’m sure some people like ever-increasing challenges, when it’s tied to in-app purchases, I still believe there’s an expectation that your purchased firepower is going to be able to defeat the enemies more easily. This isn’t the case with SFR. Instead, as you get more powerful, so do your enemies - some more than others. The result is that whether you play the game for enough hours to earn your firepower, or the $50+ that it takes to buy it all, the net is the same - levels that get so hard to do that the fun of the shooter is diminished. Perfect Game!!!This is coming from a 50 year old dude who usually does not play too many games: This is one of the best games I have ever played in my life!! Best Game On Apple TV!Sky Force Reloaded is by far the best game on Apple TV. It offers console level of entertainment & attention to detail. I love how each level presents additional difficulty modes that would appear once I clear the objectives of the last available mode. And the 3rd party game controller support is a nice cherry on top. This game has kept me entertained for years. The developers have done a really great job making & fine tuning this game. LoyalistSince I might be one of the only people who’s kept this game till 2020 since I like it so much, can you please retool some of the pilots? Like the one who’s supposed to randomly strike thunder on enemies, he doesn’t do it at all. I’ve made this request before by the way. Super fun...but super grindy...however...Great graphics. Great gameplay. Good enemies. Fun bosses. Good music. But super grindy meaning you have to play the same missions over and over and over and over again. You get these stars the better you do. You roll those stars into upgrades which help you do better. Rinse and repeat until you’ve beaten the game years later. And there you have it. It’s a fun break when you are left with nothing but your phone and time to kill. One of the good things about this game that separates it from others is that it can be played entirely in airplane mode. Really awesome SHMUP!I’ve been deeply absorbed in HAWK: Freedom Squadron for a long time, but this game, Sky Force R., may actually knock it from its pedestal. I played the original version of Sky Force for a long time. This version is much prettier, deeper, and more absorbing. I like the replayability of the various levels, the power up system, and the difficulty curve, which I think is just about perfect. I also like the fact that the game doesn’t force you to make in app purchases – if you get impatient, you can get them, but the game doesn’t force you to do so. Anyway, really, really wonderful game. Great scrolling shooter for killing a few minutes (or hours) at a time!Years ago I downloaded 2 of the xFighter games which were great mobile games, but unfortunately the developer never updated them for 64 bit iOS 11 support, so they have been missed. However, those games only had 4 levels each and were not nearly as challenging as the levels in this game, so they had far less replayability. Stunning!Easily one of the best looking games in the App Store. The progression system is fantastic. Play for a couple minutes if that's all you have and you can easily collect stars, medals, ship parts and upgrades. The game ramps up difficulty to meet your upgraded capabilities in a wonderful way. As you learn the enemies and levels the challenge is always increasing but never seems unfair. PhenomenalThis game has surprising depth of content, challenging and fun missions, great graphics, and does not require you to spend more than a few dollars to fully enjoy it (buying ad removal and fast ship rebuilding are cheap and all you need to get full value, and they’re very reasonably priced). Multiple challenge types for each stage with diverse sets of enemies. Cannot recommend this enough, especially if you enjoy old arcade style shooters. Fantastic Space ShooterI don’t write many reviews but this game is great. I’ve played many of the Space Shooter games offered on iOS but this one is definitely one of the best. Its well balanced for difficulty and reward. New ships are obtainable from collecting in game. You can also get one from having played Sky Force: 2014. Ships are upgraded via star collection from blowing things up. There are objectives to complete for each level that keep you coming back. All in all this is a very solid game and I hope the next one is better, if that’s possible..XMeManXVersion: 1.90

One off the best games in humanityThis thing is awesome me and my dad play it a lot and it’s almost every were it’s on phones iPads Xbox but I don’t think it’s on ps or pc. Even better than SkyForce 2014As the headline states I have been playing this game since 2014, and it has only gotten better! Great gameLike Gallaga, space invaders , tank battle and more all rolled into one , I’m playing it on iPad 7 , and so far, it’s funnest I’ve played , most are a one play delete, but so far it’s challenging, ads aren’t to bad for amount of time you get to play and at least there just x off ads which I understand, and I’m sure I’ll try a new game if it appeals to me. A perfect sequelThis is pretty much exactly the same game as SF Anniversary, with some new maps, characters, etc, so if you enjoyed the first Sky Force, you will LOVE this game. The gameplay is superb, the sounds are amazing, the graphics are incredible, and it somehow still has the feel of older games like this where you would scroll a small plane across the screen blowing up the bad guys. Great game except…..Love the game, I highly recommend purchasing the star doubler to get rid of the ads and get upgrades much faster. The one issue I really have is that the progress does not sync across platforms, specifically from iPad to AppleTV and vice-versa. Really disappointing after you have a solid session of advancement on one platform and but the other is still where you left off last. Great arcade shooterI love these sorts of games (Galaga, 1944, etc) and this is a great example. Your power increases incrementally, so you get a sense of progress while still being challenged on higher levels. Truly awesome gameI’ll preface this by sayingbI got this for my Apple TV, so i play it with an xbox controller and on a 50 inch display. That being said, the quality of this game is amazing: graphics, sounds and music really give it that cool retro arcade cabinet feel (although with modern quality graphics, nothing about this game is low res or dated), even on a large display. But level design is also fantastic, the levels are interesting and fresh, and increasingly challenging. Unlike arcade games, progression/upgrades are persistent so replaying early levels get easier and easier. But fear not, each level has multiple difficulties (normal, hard and insane) which unlock as you complete all the objectives on the previous difficulty setting; easy at first but really challenging as you progress! Just like old coin op favorites, Sky Force Reloaded is extremely satisfying to play. And if thats not enough, every weekend has a tournament which introduces a fresh level to play. And now for the holidays there’s a special Holiday Tournament. Someone is putting in the effort here, its not just a game that got released and forgotten by the devs. So kudos to them! There’s also support for two players, just like an arcade cabinet, if you have a second controller. Sorry I don’t know if thats an option on a phone, I would assume no. Loved this Game!As soon as I started playing this game, I could not put it down. It was fantastic for when it lasted. Game Progress Synchronization IssueDon’t take me wrong, this is a great game, but there is an ongoing issue with the game progress being synchronized across iCloud devices that has been going on for a really long time and the developer has yet to address it. I have this game on both my Apple TV and iPhone and my progress will not synchronize across devices no matter what. I have tried logging out and back into my iCloud on both devices without luck, and if you google the issue, you’ll see I’m not the only one.
