Sometimes there's to many women.I've been playing Neo Monsters for a while now, and one thing I see wrong with it is that many mythical monsters on neo monsters are sexualized women. The most recent monster, in particular, doesn't have a bra which is something that shouldn't be in a 9+ game. The game isn't bad by any means. Still, I feel that of your going to add humanoid monsters that look like humans as monsters, you should probably also do the same for males, yes I can understand that having women portrayed like that would get some more people to play it, but wouldn't it be best to do both genders? In general, I've always felt that humanoid monsters in this game aren't monsters. They're more of just supernatural beings. There's a reason why no Pokemon look humanoid (gardevoir doesn't look human. They're green). Now yeah, I'm pretty sure no one is going to read this, but still, as I said before, this is a 9+ game; at the moment, I feel this game should be a 17+ or maybe 13+. I'm currently 16, and I don't want to see a highly sexualized woman every time I play this game, but that's just me, and there's most likely more people that feel this way..Emmany.RVersion: 2.36

Unique, fun take on monster collecting!I’ve played a lot of Pokémon clones, but this isn’t one of them! In this case, that plays very much to this game’s favor. The battle system is a unique dual screen 4 v 4 (or more) with all monsters out and battling at once. The story is interesting and, although graphically simple, quite visually pleasing. There are many other modes of play, both offline and online that give players lots to do and collect. The real strength of this game, however, is the sheer number and diversity of monsters. Literally hundreds and hundreds of unique monsters with many readily available from the start. The other edge of this double-edged blade is that most of these unique and intriguing monsters are weak and useless once you progress very far. Top tier monsters are obtainable through the use of premium currency (most readily obtained by spending real money) and most suffer from an overzealous artist’s vision to combine robots, dragons, demons, and whatever else over-the-top monstrosity they can concoct. But if you take the time to take it slow and enjoy collecting and training monsters regardless of their PvP potential, you will get a lot of enjoyment from the more charming animal-based monster designs that make up ~70% of the lower tier creatures..Crotalus74488Version: 1.5.0

Finally!!!As an old school gamer one of THE most frustrating things about games today are the paywalls/time walls. I can not begin to articulate my utter contempt for a games like that, which so obviously designed to bleed your wallet. This game is NOTHING like that. If you want to play for free you absolutely can. You can grind it out just like EVERY game used to be in the “good ole days.” You can play for as long as you want, when you want. If you are one of those people who just can’t put the effort in (why play a game like this?) you can pay to accelerate your progress buy buying RNG eggs to get some OP monsters. Hard to evolveIt’s very limited on how you evolve your monsters instead of waiting like 4 days for one why don’t you make it 4 days for all which makes rare evolution material easier to get and instead of making it limited times to play each evolution event let us grind them out it will make it much more pleasing to the lot of us who really like to stay up and grind it’s so annoying how I have to wait 4 days for one event just to get one item and the only other options is to do boring side missions or pvp and the only way I’ll play pvp is if I grind out each monster it’s addictive and very fun just gets real frustrating when trying to evolve I do hope this gets fixed no one likes it when they are help back from reaching they’re true potential I feel like more players would benefit if evolution material was a little bit easier to access the way they have it set up now is very irritating.JJdoggydogVersion: 2.41

Glorious, Entertaining, and just a load of FUNHaving been a huge fan of Dragonblue and Hunter Island I had to give this a shot and I was not let down in the slightest. It’s the perfect mix of a HUGE story mode and PvP. It doesn’t shift the weight towards one but balances them together. Unlike most monster evolve games out there Neo Monsters does not rely on in app purchases. You have to farm and actually play the game. It’s loads of fun to work towards your ultra evolutions and then let your friends take them into battle. Highly recommend this game to anyone who loves Pokémon or any of the other monster catching games. Love the frequent updates and weekly/monthly contests and missions. Rates are awfulI remember this game when it was hunter island and I loved playing that game. Honestly I like that they’ve grown and made a new way to play now. The events are fun they make you think. Strategy is really important, but honestly it’s super disappointing when the rates for all the monsters that can actually get you through the game are so small. Each event that comes through if you manage to get enough gems to buy a couple of eggs you’ll probably just end up with a ton of epics and maybe some super epics. I’ve been playing for almost a year and I’ve only gotten maybe 6 legendary’s out of all of those gems. I have a ton of duplicates that serve as seconds off of their not amazing abilities. They just get wrecked compared to what is thrown at you if you try to build around them. The only way to get somewhere is to build around the legendarys you’ve already got and that’s not always easy when everything worth having counters your legendary already. The game is fun but honestly the rates are crap. They make it impossible to succeed if you don’t buy gems. I get it they have to make money but even then I could only imagine buying 50 gems and getting maybe 2 legendarys. Really good game BUT...It’s a really good game but it’s your classic pay to win game, you need gems to get better monsters, the best monsters are hard to get because of their low drop rate, gems are hard to get and the real problem here is that GEMS ARE SUPER EXPENSIVE, they make their game currency really expensive, that has made a bunch of people I know stop playing, you need good mythical monsters to be able to stand a chance against the future enemies and rivals in the story, if not you’re gonna spend hours trying to figure out what’s the best team you can have against that certain enemy, just make gems cheaper or make every single gold monster egg worth 3 gems, 30 gems for 10 monsters, that would make the community grow and also try change the story a little so we can modify our character and make it look like ourselves, that would be pretty nice too. Fairly good game, not for sweatsI enjoy this game a lot, most of the things other people have said are true but you also have to think about it. I play a lot of different games and I get good ideas from each one. This one may be a bit hard, but only if you don’t want to buy your way through it, I personally didn’t buy any of my things and as long as you make sure to collect your daily gifts it’s great! I don’t recommend playing it as your number one game, but I love the mechanics that are involved. A lot of weak endsIt was fun at first, but by the time you reach the online portion of the game you begin to realize where it falls fast and hard. Having to train monsters takes up so much effort and then that is just to prime them for evolution. Then the drop rate of the material monsters to evolve is so bad that you have many worthless runs. Combine this with the huge energy cost to enter each time makes it even worse. Finally there have been plenty of occasions the game crashed in one of these dungeons and there’s no way for you to continue your progress in the dungeon, so you lose all of the energy key usage to unlock it. Great GameI have a blast playing this game. It’s similar to dragon island blue but a bit easier to play which is nice, that game was nearly impossible to finish, and it had many of the creatures in it from another game that’s name slipped my mind and tons of new ones. It has some hard spots and others that are a little too easy but it’s very fun to play. My only complaint is that the beginning of the game, the part that tells you how to play, has too much time for each line of text. Personally it drives me nuts every time I want to start fresh. TimelineI love this game, and I wish I could give it a 4.5, but I have one issue. To battle, you have a timeline. Every attack adds an amount of time. When all the monsters are asleep except for one, and that monster has a lot of time, it has taken up to a minute to get to my monster. I wish there was an option to skip to the next available monsters turn. It can waste a lot of time during dungeons when I only have a few minutes to play. Otherwise an awesome game, the support team was super helpful when I lost my data, and I was able to recover it thanks to them. It was great, now I am disappointed.This game is really fun to play, and i enjoyed it very much. It has an interesting story and the way that you level up and battle is very unique and cool. However, I do not think that this game is appropriate for 9 year olds as the rating may say. PerfectThis game is everything Pokemon should strive to be and everything the franchise has been missing… A wide variety of monsters, every time I play this game it’s a brand new experience because I have a completely different batch of monsters with a huge variety of different move sets that requires actual strategy. Plus the evolve and ultra evolve system makes it even more fun; some monsters have as much as 6 evolutions which is wild. The story is even interesting and pretty long. Pay to Win with a terrible unbalance in PvPI’m (almost) entirely f2p and I keep facing these teams in PvP of mythical and legendary monsters with full bonus while I only have a limited arsenal to compete with. I understand paying needs to be a thing and it needs to be rewarding so they can keep the lights on but maybe do something for the f2p players like instead of an omegamid for beating the base game you’d get a gaurunteed legendary or legendaries from online events (Not the ones they advertise as legends but are actually walking garbage bins) That said it really did take a lot of strategy back when and it still does just not nearly as much so. Entering a dungeonI think this game is excellent. It’s not necessarily a game you have to pay to win. Overall it’s challenging, yet there's a sense of satisfaction when you win. One of my main concerns is with online dungeons. Many offer you another monster from a different player. However when you are still at that choosing stage and accident exit a game that shouldn't be considered an attempt. At a low-level ticket are precious, and when you are doing monster hunting, it's frustrating to have to wait 24 hours for another try. Changed A LOT.This game is pretty good, and ive come back to it after not playing it for maybe 4 years. A lot has changed. I love the premise and the storyline, but i dont like some of the newer charcter designs. Mind you, the age recommendation is 9+, and a lot of the women character designs are just… not very appropriate for 9 year olds. Also, why are most of the revealing female characters starting out as CHILDREN? Fantastic until…Lots of fun to pick up and play. Gotcha and catch em is a lot of fun. But the reason why there are not a lot of long-term players is because it gets so freaking hard as you get to the expert level. The biweekly challenges are insane unless, you are a top-lvl player. Good but needs workI’ve been playing this game for a while now (so of course I’ve been enjoying it!) and I have more positive to say about it than negative. What I like is the aspect of catching new monsters and getting to evolve them over training and ultra-evolution. There’s something so satisfying about getting new and exciting monsters! There’s also a lot of work that Zigzagames puts into creating new online events. There are two things that come to mind that I don’t like about the game. One is that it crashes a lot. I’ve played over several updates and the problem with crashing has been pretty consistent. It sucks even more when you’re in the middle of a battle you just spent keys and tickets to play!(both of which are earned over time or purchased in the store). The other thing I don’t like is how they use incredibly sexualized girls as some of the “monsters”. I’d much rather not see mostly naked anime chicks when I’m trying to play a wholesome monster fighting game. Some of the early evolutionary stages of these sexualized monsters also seem quite young and it’s disturbing. Good game, sub par graphicsThe game is pretty good and I enjoyed it thoroughly, the only thing that turns me away from the game is the graphics and some of the loading screens. The graphics are okay, the character models for some of the people are very meh, especially the main characters. Excellent!!I have played 2 entries in the series and they are both great games and you can truly play this without spending a dime on the shop. The game does have enough events and rewards that (if you are patient) you can use the gems to roll for good monsters. Lots of monster variety and more keeps getting added! My main gripe is that mythic monsters are really hard to evolve to final form because you need to roll for 3 of them to evolve them fully with a 1% chance per roll so even if you get one or even 2 they are most likely useless and to top that off there is only a limited time to roll for them because they are only available for a limited time! Pay to win, unbalanced, pay for op mon with the same moves and different skinsIve spent a bunch of money on this at times when getting legendaries os 'greatly increased' to mostly get garbage and the same stuff over and over again. None of these good monsters are obtainable any other way but a crap ton of money for a little bit of gems to keep getting crap or duplicates all the time. Also not skilled in any way. Same moves poison teams with stuns and "sweepers" which are the poisons and monsters with the same moves to kill groups of others. But the game will at one point move to ultra evolved monsters and you have to pay to get monsters that can possibly hang but you dont get them over $200 later. Also will glitch out buying gems and leave you hanging with emails to support for over 3 days to realize how stupid it is to play games like this. Horrible GameI want to start by saying this is actually a fun game. That said I have to call out it’s inability to adapt to new players. If you have not been playing this game for 2-3 years then this game is not for you. All of the prizes to grow your monsters are gotten in online modes and all of the good prizes as you know are given in competition. Well you should know bless your spending upward to 1,000 plus then that means you will have to grow your weaker monsters. In all of the competitions due to poor matching within the system you will likely be battling higher experienced players with max leveled monsters while it takes you 2-3 months to get one of your monsters in a position of battle. Lastly I would also like to point out that receive no bonuses for participating therefore you will be wasting a lot of time just participating. More I played, the less I likedIt started off great! Played a lot. Pretty decent strategy game with awesome designs and a story that I got (surprisingly) really invested in! However, as I played more, flaws became apparent. It started with team costs, preventing you from using your monsters unless you extensively play the online portion. It required a LOT of grinding to get a playable team. Oh but it’s not like you can just grind, no, you have to have the tickets. Tickets that recharge at a snails pace, that is, making everything take unnecessarily long. Even after that, the battles get ridiculously difficult if you don’t have super epic or above monsters, which, despite saving desperately for months, I have gotten one of. I’ve been stuck at the champion for a month in a half, despite playing nearly every day. Rates are falsely advertisedI’ve been playing this game since it came out, it’s become nothing more than a big fat money grab. They claim rare gems have a ‘4% mythic, 40% legendary and 56% super epic’ drop rate, logged in, got 10 rare gems after 600 login days, plus 5 more from various online rewards, in total cashed in for 3 pulls and got nothing more than super epics. I’ve conducted my own personal data pool and in total pulled about 30 to 40 from rare gem pulls and gotten 5 legendaries, so much for the 40% drop rate huh? Don’t even get me started on the lie that is the festival eggs with increased drop rates and all that bogus. That’s all just a money grab as well. Don’t waste your time.I played this game for a few years. I Had a few 7 stars. I made it through the first play through of the storyline. I kept my daily login streak going for well over a year. I had 500 gems saved for a while because the fortune shrine was fun. Now I have nothing because my phone broke and the game needs a transfer number in order to play again. Okay.This company used to make the best games of this style, Dragon Island Blue and Hunter Island. This successor is a poor imitation. The egg system has horrid rates for decent monsters. Only the legendary are any good. The “Mythic” require pay to play or crazy grinding ( months with no progress to level up) only to marginally make an improvement. The PvP is for P2P only as are move things outside the main story. Oh and the story is boring so likely you will hit the skip button again and again. Good: First week of gameplay is fun and worth $5. Bad: Everything after is P2P only as far as I can tell. I like to grind and will do so for a big payoff and to avoid spending real money. No such benefit here. Summary: play until you get the Grand Champion title then quit and delete. You will believe the game worthwhile then. Definitely a pay-to-win gameI will start by saying this game is a lot of fun. I’ve been playing for a couple years and am more it less satisfied. However, the egg-hatching mechanics are a bit frustrating. Have that happen consistently and I wonder what the point of it is. Hunterisland was betterThis game is fun. I like the story, the characters are interesting, and the mechanics are cool. However, anyone who played the original will know that this is basically HI, but worse. Most captured monsters are useless, training is tedious, and most ‘game mechanics’ are a waste of time. I’ve beaten both games(the original multiple times) and there is basically nothing to do at a certain point. The ‘bosses’ are either super easy, or almost impossible. It took two YEARS to beat this game without spending money. The original took about a week. Despite its clear superiority, they have ignored HI to the point it can’t even be played anymore. You basically can’t do anything without waiting HOURS for tickets and keys. Also, in contrast to HI’s HUNDREDS of backgrounds and attacks, this game has like, 5 different attack animations and 3 backgrounds. Overall, if you can download Hunterisland, its much better.
