The Zohar Customer Service

This app is totally awesome but it seems to me the alarm function does not work. I have an iPhone 6 Plus running the latest version of iOS 8.3 and I do not see an option for The Zohar app in the notifications menu under the Settings app and I never do get an alarm notification either in-app or in Notification Center. I am certain this will get resolved. Baruch HaShem!

Thank You to Michael Berg first for writing the book "The Zohar". It has been a blessing to me. While I have pushed my self to read the Zohar Im not sure that there are many people who like to read something they dont understand 100%. I kept on listening to videos on line .. But to be honest it was a daily struggle to pick up Zohar daily. I did read and re - read Michael Bergs both books.. But even weekly class on Zohar teaching would not interest me until "The Zohar Connection" with Mr. Jian? Not an easy name.. And finally this app! Which was like a big "aha" moment, divided to short sections on specific topic, with someone first reading the portion in Aramaic it was like a the light switched on! Not only that I understood what i was reading in the app, but I could open Zohar on any page and got it! At first i was afraid it was just luck .. It was that section, because I just read the portion of the section through the app. thus I opened the Zohar at random, and as I read it i understood the concept, I searched for Ruth's Rosenberg's explanation on the section just to make sure, and to my surprise 8 years of daily struggle were gone. The app played a huge in me letting go of build up "resentment" .. " i will never get it, and Im not dumb, but I feel dumb". So i read something at 5 am to get it over with. However since the app and the "Zohar Connection" class on UKabbalah I reading the Zohar at 5am, I cant imagine staring my morning in any other way! I use the app through out the day, it saves me from so much chaos! I feel so protected always having a solution to any given situation near me! Thank you, kindly for sharing your wisdom with us!

Generally speaking the Kabbalah Centre apps "get the job done" but this latest App "The Zohar" is a surprise in the best way. It's good looking and functional. It contains audio readings of actual Zohar versus with the English translation below, alarms to remind you to study, more annotation than you find in the actual Zohar and even explanations of the weekly readings. I've been scanning every week without even knowing what the passage was about. This is next level good. The devs have gone above and beyond. I was pleasantly surprised to see the grave sites of many of the Ravs when I pulled down on the background. It's just a nice extra touch. Also, did I mention that this is FREE and I didn't notice any in-app purchases. Many times you can buy in app purchases from the Kabbalah Centre Apps which I have no problem doing, but this app leaves nothing to be desired (except everything obviously.) Bravo. What an unexpected treat. I can't say enough about what a great tool this is.

For anyone new or a veteran on Kabbalah and the Zohar it is very helpful. The app has recording and translated script so anyone can connect to the Zohars profound energy. This application has changed my life and gave me hope and protection, I can’t thank the Kabbalah center enough for making it so user friendly and convenient! Hands down one of the best apps I use daily.

This app is brilliant because it integrates the different methods our soul needs to receive Light in order to transform and become our best versions each day while impacting the world positively. The Zohar brings healing, provision, and improvement with my relationships each day. The Zohar is the best thing that can come to our lives.

The Zohar App update is great, it now reads the Aramaic but skips over the English. I would like an option to hear the English as well.

This is one of the best user interface is for using this powerful tool. Breaks down which section to scan based on the time of the year allows you to save and mark your progress 10 out of 10.

Sometimes we get stuck in our daily lives and don't find the time to scan the Zohar. This apps allows you to scan, or even hear the Zohar at least once a day. This way we can reveal more Light to the world! Thank you Kabbalah Centre for this precious gift

I think that this should be translate in Spanish, since is another language that is spoken here in the US it should be Hebrew, English and Spanish. Please do it as soon as possible. Thank you very much.

I've been scanning the Zohar for the past couple of years and was having difficulties with certain words/abbreviations pronunciations. Now I can go and hear exactly how it should be read. I love the lectures and the bookmark feature. Thank you for for this gift.

Problem in app. check it out please

Translating a work as intimidating as the Zohar is an intimidating task, and there is no perfect way to do it. But I find this translation to be particularly lacking. Berg translates Aramaic technical-theological terms according to his own idiosyncratic interpretations, which frequently differ from the vast majority of Jewish kabbalists. Furthermore, the text interweaves translation and exegesis in a way that is only sometimes clearly demarcated and in al cases intrusive. Readers with no training in Aramaic will be unequipped to correctly distinguish between which parts of the text are original to the Zohar and which are Berg’s interpolations, and those who have training in traditional kabbaistic traditions will find many translation decisions unusual and confusing. This is still the most accessible English translation of the Zohar available for free to the public, but that is more a testament to the generally poor quality of other free translations than to the merits of this translation. Interested readers willing to part ways with no small chunk of change should instead invest in a set of Daniel Matt’s academic translation of the Zohar published for the Pritzker Edition. Hopefully some day Sefaria will get the rights to distribute that translation and readers will no longer rely on the Kabbalah Center for a competent and easily accessible English translation. Translation aside, the audio is excellent, and is the main reason I will be keeping this app. The reading is fluent, crisp, and captures well the Zohar’s musical and rhythmic qualities. Even when I dislike the translation, the Aramaic oration is very beautifully performed and deserves high praise. The user interface is inviting, pleasant, and easy to navigate.

I kept trying to open it and it won’t allow since it says it doesn’t have internet when I tried mobile data and WiFi. I also noticed the that anyone who downloaded over a year ago loves it but recent downloads has the same issue as me. Maybe it’s a new glitch they haven’t noticed? But would love to have this 💕

Current version shows error message when opening— cannot connect to the internet regardless of wifi or data use. Would love to use this, but the current version does not work.

The alarm function was the first review. This is a “set it and forget it” app. Barring some c”v accident, there is no excuse for not caring about a perhaps a minor functionality - ironically on an app covering the ZOHAR? If this represents the level of concern, it makes one wonder whether all is what it seems…

I downloaded the app, but it isn’t working!! It seems that it need an update!! I try to open the app and it keep telling me that I need internet connection, which I have!! I hope they manage to fix the problem!

App won’t open with alert “device must be connected to the internet on first use”. I’m on both WiFi and cellular on my phone, successfully surfing the web with other apps. Tried it on an iPad, same failure. 😒

It was updated without testing it on an actual phone. There’s really no excuse for this. And even less so as it has been broken for months and nobody seems to care.

Every time I click on the app it says it needs to be connected to WiFi when I’m always connected to a WiFi. Please help!!!

The pause seems to take to long between the paragraphs

Same issue where it says i don’t have any network connection and yet I am fully connected.

As soon as I downloaded it there were problems. Can't use app because he cannot detect my internet connection.

You have removed certain sections……like the one for righteousness souls

The first time I accessed the app after downloading it, it says I need an internet connection. I was already connected, but it keeps giving the error message. Restarting wifi and iPhone doesn’t help. App just doesn’t start. Very disappointed.
