Please make a bug fix updateThis is a very good mobile Amusement Park game, I think it’s the best on the App Store currently. It has many rides and coasters, and it also has many terrain and path options. I mainly play sandbox mode, but there is also a pretty good career mode where you complete objectives to make the parks profitable. The main problem with RCT3 is that is hasn’t had an update for years. This means the rollercoasters and rides aren’t up to date with the new ones coming out, and there are a few minor bugs that don’t cause many issues for me. There is one main problem that is really annoying though, which is that when you have a saved sandbox mode park, and you want to create a new park, (frame rate tends to slow down a lot when you have more than 10-13 big roller coasters and then the the game starts saying the park is full and it stops you from adding any more rides or shops) the old one gets replaced. You can create a new park, and not delete the old one, and when you go back into the save menu, your new park duplicates it self over the old one. This means you can’t keep adding onto your parks and have to fully replace them every once in a while. It’s super annoying and is a bad glitch that happens on all the devices I’ve tried to play this on. I still really like the game, but PLEASE FIX THIS BUG!!! Park Full notificationsGreat game but I haven’t been able to do anything in sandbox mode for my save due to this Building has been disabled notification that is constantly popping up and not allowing for any further customization and or building. Idk how to solve this issue and very little or almost nothing online about it. I didn’t think this game would be limited as so. As of now, the game has been ruined as there is no fix for this and I can’t figure out the cause to it. Closing out the application doesn’t resolve the issue nor does letting real time pass. I also don’t know why the additional add ons from the game aren’t available as in game purchases? 6 going on 7 years later. Would be nice to have a complete edition. (The Switch console just recently got one) But being able to build freely to your hearts content would also be nice. I Haven’t been able to for a long time now! The Best Phone Game So Far!I've had an iPhone since before the App Store was available, and I can finally say the quality of games has reached the PC quality mark. The dev of this game is the original developer, not Atari. It runs silky smooth even when moving your head around to view people eating cotton candy while zooming through a loop on a roller coaster. The controls are amazingly thought out. You can have a simple roller coaster built in 20 minutes. It's all here - the tilt of the track, the height markers, block break speed, camera locations, tunnels, choosing how many cars per train, track color, path design- wait time for the cars, price of the ride, and fixing and repairing the ride. If I left something out, trust me, it's in the game. The career mode is the full 20+ stages, and there is a sandbox mode as well. You control the price of each ride, each booth, or the entrance fee to your park. You control the cost of ketchup and when to train or fire your employees. Each guest has unique thoughts and desires so be sure to talk to each of them as well. Simply put, unbelievable game. It plays excellent on the iPhone 6 and even better on the iPad's screen. A fun, but now outdated and unnecessary portFor an earlier iOS port, it’s not too bad. The graphics remain the same for the most part, the performance is decent, and the gameplay is largely intact. However, unfortunately it’s now a version of the game I no longer recommend buying because 1. RollerCoaster Tycoon Classic is way better when it comes to optimization and features, and 2. there’s now a better RCT3 port with RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 Complete Edition on the Nintendo Switch. Not only does that one control better and perform better than the original release, but it also has the “Soaked!” and “Wild!” expansions included, unlike the iOS version which has none of that implemented to begin with. Make no mistake though, this is a good port for its time, but nowadays, it’s easy to skip over unless you want to get as many versions of RCT1, 2 and 3 as possible. It is often times cheaper than the Complete Edition though, so if you want to try this to get a feel for the full experience, then by all means go ahead, but just keep in mind that the Complete Edition is a far superior experience. BEST ROLLERCOASTER GAME EVER!In rollercoaster tycoon 3 you can play 2 ways. You can play the campaign mode or you can play the sandbox mode. In the sandbox mode you have infinite money but in the campaign mode you have a limited amount of money. I usually find myself playing sandbox mode creating new worlds and trying each theme park better than the other parks. Another thing I love about this game is you can ride your rides and buy or build your rollercoasters. If you build a rollercoaster you can do many things if you get bored with the other rides. I like that it tells you if people want to go on the rollercoaster and how it tells you the max speed of the rollercoaster. I also love you can open and close your park. You also need to put food stands drink stands infamy’s and bathrooms. I really love how you can put in ride events. You can put in props and you can even change the color of your rides. Also if you think your chain lift is going to slow on your rollercoaster you can always make the chain lift go faster or slower. Amazing but has issuesThis game has an amazing concept and brings out the creativity and imagination in all of us. I can customize rides, shops, and many more to my heart’s content. I would love to rate this game 4 stars, even 5! However, there are a bunch of issues. One is that this game will delete some of your theme parks in Sandbox Mode every time you save a new park. I have created a very nice park that my family really enjoys but after I made a new theme park, it deleted the park and duplicated the new park. This is very annoying and irritating because I worked very hard on the park. Another issue is the “Park Full” thing in the game. I don’t know if it’s based on the “peeps” or the park’s attractions but it is very frustrating as it disables building. When I leave the game and come back it still says “Park Full”. Lastly I feel like this game needs an update on the themes and paths. Making queue lines are annoying when it connects to the entrance and it breaks apart. I can’t even raise the paths when I need it. Also when I try to put trash cans, lights, etc. on elevated paths it will block me from doing so. Needs Work but Still EnjoyableGreat game but has a lot of bugs. Still one of the best gaming apps I've found, even with the flaws. It's worth the money anyway. Feedback: Placing paths with varying heights can be maddening. Placing benches/trash cans etc. doesn't always work when it should. Needs the ability to find which staff member is working highlighted area without looking through all of them. Needs a fast forward button. Needs an undo button when doing construction on paths, terrain, etc. Research doesn't work half the time and when it does, it doesn't give what you asked for. It seems that changing the amount of funding for research doesn't have an affect on how much is discovered, either. Profit doesn't add up right. Some of the buttons don't function at all. Needs to let you select an attraction straight from the news alert about it. A solid port, but PLEASE add the expansions!!!I played this game a lot when I was younger and I was really excited to see it (and the rest of the series) on mobile, but it’s a little disappointing that a lot of my favorite things from RCT3 aren’t available in this version because they were from the expansions. I appreciate your commitment to not having microtransactions, but please make the expansions available to us somehow! I wouldn’t mind paying a bit more for the game if you added all the content from the original platinum version. Also I’m not a fan of the tutorials being videos that you watch in your web browser, why aren’t they part of the game? I would also add a manual save feature and make it more obvious how to save and quit the game, having to turn on auto save in the settings is confusing and the game gives no indication of when it’s saving so it’s hard to tell when it’s safe to exit..SnartbabyVersion: 1.0.4

Best port on the app store!I've had this on my watchlist for sometime now. I was skeptical and hesitant because of my concern that this would be a bad port. Whoa was I wrong! This is just like the original pc game and the touch controls are intuitive and well executed. It just feels natural to play this on the ipad. This game loads fast and runs smoothly. As far as I can tell (and remember) all the original functions, controls and game modes are present. This is utterly impressive and I can't wait to see what the future holds for games such as this on the app store. Do yourself a favor and relive your nostalgic youth and buy this game. At $5 I feel like I stole it. Also, we airplay this to the tv so many people can watch and enjoy the game! It's a really neat feature. Amazing way to pass time, but there’s just one complaint...Roller Coaster Tycoon 3 is without a doubt one of my favorite games. In fact, I could even become an advertiser for the game for how much I love it. However, there is one hiccup that I would like to mention. Whenever I attempt to build a Giga Coaster from scratch, it works fine. It’s when I attempt to test the coaster where it decides to randomly stop at the end of a line of lift chains. Also, there is no “pattern” to it. It’s totally random!! If you are someone who is looking through these reviews and happen to come upon this one, please do not let this one review stop you from getting the game! I must say (as if I didn’t already mention it), this game is phenomenal!!! Get it! You WILL NOT regret it! Lives up to the originalI completely adored RCT3 on my PC, and when I saw this on the App Store I figured "worth a try, but I'll probably be disappointed." I'm happy to say that I was not disappointed at all -- in fact, I'm seriously impressed at how well this captures the original PC gameplay and adapts the controls for the touchscreen. The controls are intuitive and easy to use for the most part. My only criticism is that it's a lot harder to lay down paths and modify terrain in this version, which can be really frustrating sometimes. However, it's not a deal-breaker type of problem. I also love that they stayed true to the traditional model where you buy the game up front and get access to the whole game -- you don't have to deal with any nonsense of in-app purchases or waiting eons to unlock things. A few things fixed = AMAZING GAME! Now, it’s mediocre.I used to love this game. I would play it all the time. Until I found out about Planet Coaster. After I found out about Planet Coaster, I looked back at this game and really saw that it had many things to fix. Just a second ago, I was building an awesome coaster until I was just about finished and the end track was barely even touching the station. I went back and lowered it, but it was still not connecting! Even auto-correct couldn’t complete it! I was so frustrated! I worked on this coaster for such a long time! It was going to be the greatest coaster at the park. Though this doesn’t happen often, it’s a real pain in the neck. This isn’t a terrible problem, but I think that this game is a little out dated. There are a lot of modern coaster models, like RMC Raptor, RMC Hybrid, B and M Giga, etc. that aren’t in the game! I wish more developers would do this!!I really like the fact that they kept in original and not just the fact that it's the original games. While I would have been just as happy if the graphics were changed and/or updated I am more proud of that fact that they didn't feel the need to make it a scam game like RCT4. I HATE playing games where you have to constantly spend money in order to continue the game or wait for years to actually never finish because the game has no end. There are plenty of people who share my pain. I would gladly spend the money to out right buy a game that I can play when ever I want and not have to wait to move on. The only feature I ask for is that it would be great if you could have a shared save folder in iCloud so I could continue to play on another device. Wish there was more....To ATARI and rct fans...I wish I could do more then place rides. I WISH the wild and soaked expansion packs were included. It gets boring fast. To those who haven't downloaded it yet....you get everything that the basic rct3 computer version has but you cant make scenarios (u get the sandbox and career "mode".), no saving coasters and they barely give you enough. You can make them but cant use them again. And you cant move them if u need run out of space u have to delete and start over. Can't save buildings you make either. Cant make peep groups, see below. TO ATARI: please fix the fact that we arent able to raise the que path. As soon as I touch the que path the "raise" and "lower"goes away. I have to make the exit path then switch to que path. When using the delete option I can't move the screen to delete more somewhere else in the park. Halfway Into 2017, My thoughts on this game.I recently purchased RCT3 here on the App Store, it came out to a rough start. I kept getting the error "Unable to download, please try again later"... So me thinking I got ripped off I didn't try to download it for like 2 days. Those 2 days later, it had randomly gone through and downloaded when I had tried it again. Having played the original on PC I was hit with hard nostalgia with the original music and sounds. Me being a RCT3 veteran, I jump into sandbox and start playing around... What's this? I can still make custom coaster tracks, I can still adjust the price on each individual ride and thing sold in the park, I can still ride all of my rides!?! HECK YEAH! This is a very faithful port of the PC version with brand new touch controls. Unfortunately I find that it is hard to tap icons on the sides of the screen (But I find workarounds) Jumping into the Campaign mode I'm happy to see 15 different campaigns. I started my first one, and it took me 4 days to reach the Gold challenge.... 4 DAYS! On one mission! TL;DR If you're a fan of the series and you want to eat a spoonful of nostalgia buy this game. Worth the $$If you’re looking to bring back that nostalgic feeling of coming home from school & hoping on your PC to play RCT3: Expansion Pack then this is definitely the game for you . Full game for a reasonable price. $20+ game now less than $5 ofcourse it doesn’t include expansion but its a phone version so im ok w that. HOWEVER, as good as it is here are the few flaws: you can’t buy more land in the career mode which makes it extremely difficult to succeed in the objectives. Also, the most talked about “park limit” that exists even in sandbox mode (headache) & finally I just wish frontier would update the game who knows what Flaws they could find within just curating different levels it could even bring back the whole RCT3 franchise and just do mobile gaming. BugsOverall great game to put this on an iPhone is nothing short of amazing. I remember when no one I know could run this on their PC. Now it's in my hands and it runs amazingly. There are a lot of bugs though most are minor and you wouldn't really notice them. However to big ones are track running into a boundary or object brings up a message of "You cannot place the track there" then nothing you cannot tap on anything, essentially crashing the game. The second path editor paths don't always connect to where they are intended especially with slopes. I would also like to mention that doing a ride with multiple stations doesn't always yelled the player to place the appropriate amount of entrances and exits. Frontier knocked it out of the park.I decided to get this game today for nostalgic reasons(As a kid I had played the platinum version of RCT3 on the computer) and I must say that this is really well done. They are not lying when they say its just like the original; all of the quests, the roller coasters and even the iconic loading screen is the same. The gameplay is a lot of fun and roller coasters are as easy to build as they were on the computer. This is a really great deal too, a decade or so back it cost 15-20 dollars for the platinum disc (which adds two more sets of career modes into the game) but the original career mode and sandbox mode for three bucks is a fantastic deal. Developers- please read bottom halfThis app is literally amazing. The controls take a while to get used to, but once you adjust to everything, the opportunities are limitless. It has everything I’ve ever wanted in a roller coaster game, and it lets you be as creative as you want with endless options for coasters, rides, scenery, etc. It is so incredibly addicting, and I could play it for hours on end. Great game, but please update.Roller Coaster Tycoon 3 was one of the first games I ever played. I started with the PC version and enjoyed the blissful water slide and roller coaster building mechanics so much I decided to get it on my iPhone. When I originally played this game on my iPhone 6 I really enjoyed how fun it felt to build roller coasters with the dated but fluent coaster builder. The game still held up. Fast forward to now and the game still greatly holds up, but just struggles. The game doesn’t include the waterslides which i’m guessing was a method to save space and performance on the original iPhones but now it could easily have that feature and I don’t think you would see a dip in performance. The switch port of the game has recently released and made this version feel more obsolete as it includes waterslides, more coasters and other general improvements. I really hope to see this version get its aspect ratio fixed, waterslides added, and more modern features that you can find in the switch port and pc version. No iCloud supportMy phone crashed and had to restore my phone entirely, and as a result I lost my game data because it doesn’t have iCloud. Hours and days of work gone. Also, when you save a new park in sandbox mode it overwrites some of your other parks which is awful if you work hard on one park and gets deleted. Really Good PC PortI am really impressed that a PC game that required decent specs was able to be ported on an iPad and that it actually works really well. It really goes to show how far the mobile platform has come and the potential that it has similarly to games like CoD Mobile. There are a few changes though I would recommend adding in future updates: A: Add the 2 DLC packs (Soaked and Wild). Even if it costs extra to get those packs I’d be willing to pay for those updates to make this already great port even better B: Allow support for 120hz screens. Although I could understand if it doesn’t have support right now for a game this demanding it would be nice to have especially for doing POV’s of rides. C: Add keyboard and mouse support (like the Magic Keyboard): The touch controls are good, but as someone who liked the PC version it would be nice to use keyboard/mouse for this as it would be more comfortable. Mostly goodFirst thing I want to say is don’t get me wrong I really like RCT3. Let me tell you my thoughts. This game is mostly good (as I say in the title) it has good tycoon graphics, and it’s fun to play. But also, this game has this weird feature I like to call “disabling building things and ruining all your fun” basically for about 5-10 times a message pops up saying that you are getting close to the park limit, by the way they say this in sandbox mode which means it not a sandbox. After it had enough saying your getting close to the limit of this park, it finally says “park full building has been disabled”. I definitely think PC/mac version is better. Gives me hope for the App StoreUnlike so much of the nonsense on the App Store, this game isn't a tapping-simulator or a wait-a-thon. You pay a very reasonable price for a game that you can play as much as you want. You get to actually use all the features of the game,p and get really creative. It's not perfect, but it shows what the App Store could be if people realized that free games are barely even games at all. Few Things Missing but FunI’ve played roller coaster tycoon 3 since younger. I like the computer version because I can make my own group of people and celebrities. I miss also being able to have firework showings in the game. It’s still enjoyable but I wish they had updates for this game. I think if people were able to create their own avatars and firework showings, it would be an 5 star game. Still fun making my own park but I would like some of the options from the PC version on this app as well. Just like the PC versionBut it's actually better than the PC version! I own the original game and I decided to give this a try, it's exactly the same but honestly easier to use. Even the cheat codes work in this! It's crashed once or twice but I finished the game in four days. Love this gameI’ve always had a thing for roller coasters! Back when I played roller coaster tycoon the very first ones. That’s when I fell in love with the games. I have both the first one and this one on my phone. And I don’t regret buying either one. Granted their are somethings that RCT3 is missing like the fireworks display and I’m sure a couple other things. But I still love it. It brings back so many memories before you had to download extra stuff on a computer in order to play a game. Nostalgic fun but lacking some featuresOverall it is a great port, but I miss the peer groups, firework shows, the ability to choose music for each ride, and the other little things that make up the original game, including the VIP guests. I just completed the Box Office theme park in career mode and was looking forward to Cami O.'s visit and was disappointed when she didn't come! Also, I am having an issue when I try to go back from a menu by touching the blue arrow in the left and it won't respond to my touch... “Great Game | But Not Quite”Game is amazing but their are a few issues the game hasn’t been updated to fit all the latest iPhones; In addition to that it hasn’t been updated in 5 Years. The game is amazing but it can get laggy at times, so performance needs to be updated. But looking past the down sides of this game the game is absolutely fun, and a good game to pass time with. Expansion PacksI have been playing this game for a while now and I really like it. The only complaints I have for it are nit picky details that only players of the original game (like me) will really notice. If you are new to the game, this is the app that I recommend to get if you want to play on iOS. That being said, I want the expansion packs. Frontier, I will pay money for the expansion packs. Please make this an option! I think that the vast majority of the people who have this app were players of the game when it came out on PC and will also pay money for the packs. Answering questions.So I have those experiences, and sometimes if you make a mistake with elevating ground on the path it gets stuck so here’s some advice... 1 just listen to the “Not enough space” thing, and make as much mountains for extra stuff, it won’t delete it, and try putting trees in. 2 if your in the middle of something you have to stop what your doing, and zoom out from where the rides are before you save. 3 If you want an upper quie, then start at your path on the ground and then work up, I wouldn’t recommend Making a “whole admusment park” upper path. I was surprised to see that the game does not stretch to the XS Max screen size, so I have these weird black bars on each side of my phone screen. Loved it from the beginningI loved this game when it came out on PC, and I had to install it with a CD Rom. years later it became one of the first apps I ever downloaded to my computer. One of the better RCT games available on mobile but…TL:DR, save your money and maybe get RCT classic Let me just preface this by saying, this is probably much more faithful to the better days of the RCT series than the awful ones developed specifically for mobile, (like RCT touch, 4 mobile and god forbid, RCT story) but if it was up to me, I’d pay a few dollars extra to get RCT classic instead. This one just doesn’t really do it for me. It’s an older mobile port and that shows. It’s locked in 16:9 or maybe 4:3 (haven’t played it on iPad yet), but that means on any iPhone newer than the iPhone X, that you get these awful sidebars because of the aspect ratio difference. The controls on this port also feel confusing. I couldn’t figure out how to place more than one queue line without getting stuck and needing to back out of at least one menu. The object movement controls feel clunky and the camera controls are a bit odd. Additionally, if you really want to play RCT3 specifically, you can get RCT3 complete on steam or even Nintendo switch and that will be a much better option than this..MusicWolfGXVersion: 1.0.4
