An excellent monolingual French-French dictionaryThis is the best of the many monolingual French-French dictionaries that I’ve tried. It combines a number of dictionaries, including very recent ones and one from the 18th century, so it’s suitable not just for daily use, but for reading classic French literature. Plus, you get a greater diversity of examples. You can use it off-line, too, so it’s great if you’re on a plane (or stuck in the Métro, like I am right now!). Good, but...This is a very good app, but it would be 100% better if the drop-down conjugation tables were at the top of each page. Great dictionary but I can't remove adsI bought the free version. I liked the app a lot do I decided to pay for the ad-free version. Payment went through fine but still with ads. InconsistentLove the multiple definitions, contexts, and sources. Pronunciation is clear, quick and helpful. No Audio Again02/26/23 Still no audio, and every time I hit a link within the app (not on purpose) it takes me to the “Free Library” online but that’s broken too. What a big disappointment. Where’s this app heading? I think it’s going downhill. I hope there will soon be a recovery. Maybe when the dust settles we will have some hope.
