I bet I have had this app for 4 or 5 years. Everyday I get an email that shows me books on sale that might interest me. I usually gives me several new books each day from various categories I selected. Sometimes the books are from little known authors. There are usually books listed that are New York Times best sellers. I do not think that any book there is more than $5 at the most and most are under $3.00. You can also let the app know what authors you like and it will send you notices when one of their books. Is on sale.

Unfortunately, the app only supports Apple Books purchasing due to iOS rules (and I read books on another platform). I do like using this app to track my TBR, reading, and read lists.

I recently got a Kindle and wanted to find some books to own, seen how expensive ebooks were and found out about BookBub on Reddit. I have already bought a few from sales and discovered new books from it. My only issue with the app, is that it has one of the worst search features. I’ll type in most of the title and all it wants to show me is gross romance novels I have no interest in. These titles don’t even have any resemblance to whatever it decides to show me. I feel like BookBub might be marketed towards this audience, but not everyone is trying to buy smut books off here 😅

I came across it by Facebook and decided to download it. But then I saw that I would have to make a account. What I originally thought when I downloaded this, is that I would have to link my google account or gmail so it would be easier to access. I want to be able to afford the books that I want at a low price, but I came across this problem. Could you add gmail or google to the account list? Thank you.

Really like all the recent updates. You can still browse deals, but now you can also search for books and update your wishlist. Love getting those emails when my wishlist books go on sale.

I look at Bookbub almost every day for e-book deals! I highly recommend Bookbub for what ever type of genres you love!

This is my go to book app. I have used many and this is hands down my favorite!

I just love this app!! It gives so many free and ridiculous reduced priced ebooks. It has so many popular authors and newly released books!

This app is great! Since downloading it (maybe a week ago) I've added approximately 40 books to my kindle or iPhone library. All but 3 of the books I've downloaded have been free! The ones I had to pay for were .99 each! This is a great app to find new authors, however they also have great deals on names you'll easily recognize! I look forward to my notification everyday that tell me there a new deals to look at!! Awesome app!

I love reading but hate searching for new books to read! With this app you can set where you want your books to be from. I chose strictly ones that I can read on iBooks. I can choose what category and price. Most the books I download are on a free promotion but sometimes I purchase the sale of a series. I'd recommend this to anyone who enjoys reading. I'm a big fan! I like this app because I can browse it at my leisure to see what's new and cheap (because let's face it, we're here for the latter). A lot of the offerings seem like they're self-published or indie titles, but that's not bad. In fact, because the books are so cheap, I'm willing to try new authors that I otherwise wouldn't. A great way to save money and find an entertaining read.

BookBub has introduced me to authors I have never really considered before. By sending a free book by an author that I have never read before, if I liked it I would go back and read more or all of the books by the same author. I can be picky about authors but it is invaluable to me and I don't lose any dollars searching for authors that way. I am discovering new authors and great stories all the time! Thanks!

I love having daily books in my preferred genres offered at reduced--or often free--prices! App notifies me when offers are available so I remember to view them before they expire. It's easy to use and works seamlessly with iBooks! You'll be amazed how fast your library grows when you don't have to spend a fortune buying books!!

So grateful for this app. Because of some health issues I spend most of my time at home. I so appreciate having access too so many books that I enjoy. The app makes it so easy as it guides you to topics and Authors that you prefer, and notifies you when they are available.

I've had BookBub for some years now only it was done in the form of an email. I'd get an email every day with books selected based on my preferences. I've got a zillion books (ok so I'm exaggerating. I do have many which I cannot keep up with). Great prices. You cannot beat it. Glad it's now an app. LOVE YOU GUYS! Great job!

I have saved so much money with this app, and they have a large assortment of genres to pick from. Your account is personalized as well, so they show you the type of books that you are most likely to pick. Can't live without it!!!!

I LOVE getting the daily book suggestions (especially the free ones)! I also love that BookBub choose the books based on what they think I'd like. My only suggestion? It would be nice if there was an option to save book recommendations. Please thoughtfully consider this suggestion as I think it would be well-received!

Bookbub provides me with lots of reading material for free or at a low price that I can use to pass the time in waiting rooms, on the stationary bike at the gym, or wherever I’m stuck with no other options. It quickly downloads reading material to my phone, so I never have to go without.

This app is easy to use and purchase books. Every day you get a list of available books for free or discounted based on your preferred genres. They are downloaded instantly to your device. I think this is a great app and refer to it every day.

It's a really great app! I just wish that it would be easier to find books. I want to find a certain book, but unfortunately I can't find it. I'm sure me and a lot of other people would really appreciate it if you added a search button!

I love books and this app gives u access to tons of them in all genres and the best part is they don't cost you a ton of money. They start at free and up. I highly recommend it to everyone who enjoys reading. Yes won't be disappointed.

I love receiving the emails about the Book deals to help find new books to read and deals. Now with the website I can view them whenever and go and select the books I want!!

But would like to ask if we can rent the audiobooks instead of buying them? I don’t want to get stuck with an audiobook on my iCloud. 🙏 thank you

It's a good app overall but what really bugs is that you should be able to search for books or authors instead of scrolling through millions of books or just categorizing them. That would make the app much better in my opinion. Bye for now. 😀👋

This app lets me know of the best deals on the books I want to read and none of the ones I don’t. It’s great and it’s new deals everyday so I never run out of books! Amazing app, I plan on using it forever.

I have read so many books that I would never have even known about because of BookBub! Love love love that I have found new authors, and inexpensive titles to add to my digital library!

I have been on the mailing list for a couple of years now . I have used it almost daily to get ebooks for my kobo and some for my iPad as well . I look forward to trying the app instead of the email link

Love this service. Lots of great books low cost and free. I keep quite a few on my iPhone and iPad. E books don't take up much space. I read them, then delete.

I've been a BookBub user and lover for a while so was thrilled when the app became available. I use it daily and find it clear and easy to use. I often recommend BookBub to friends and will continue to do so now that this lovely app option is available. Keep up the good work!

I downloaded this free app hesitantly because many of these types of apps offer a very poor choice of books and any half decent books are pricey. NOT the case with bookbub. The majority of ebooks I download are either Free or .99. The most I have ever paid for an ebook from this site is $2.99 and that is very, very seldom. I highly recommend this app to anyone who reads as voraciously as I do. I simply can't afford to purchase new paperbacks when I can read one in a day or two.

This app is amazing. It's easy to use and has an amazing variety of free books that I can't wait to start reading. The only thing that I would improve on would be to add a search engine to the app to make it easier to find specific books people might want to read.

I think this is a great app for anyone who likes to read eBooks. You can set it up to show books in the categories of your choice and you will definitely get many interesting book offers. Its a great way to build up a library for a low cost or for free!

Perhaps my previous review about the broken filter system was not clear. The developer instructed me how to use filters in response, COMPLETELY MISUNDERSTANDING that my complaint was that the filter settings aren't saved anymore. Thanks for the pedantic reply. BookBub resets the filter settings now. It didn't used to function this way. I can only assume that the app deliberately resets the filters in a lame attempt to get me to buy outside my prefered genres. Prior to Summer 2023, filter settings were saved between sessions. Now they are reset—meaning that the app reenables ALL filters each time I take time to only select a few. I bought at least a book every week with BookBub. Now I deleted the app. I don't buy any deals from BookBub at all. But please explain to me again how to use your filter settings.

I downloaded the app, happy enough with it, recommendations were fine, nothing bad to say about it. I had it for a while, realized that I had never really seen anything that I wanted to buy. I guess I just don’t really read enough to need these deep cuts of books, and best sellers don’t really go on sale much, so I decided to uninstall it and unsubscribe from emails. I have unsubscribed from email newsletters no less than ten times. I feel like I get a new newsletter every day. New deals for less? Roadworthy? Booktalk? The short list? Audiobooks? Enough. My goodness, enough.

I read on a Kindle and even though this app claims to support other formats, it only allows the book to be opened in Apple Books. However, the daily emails I’ve been getting from the website, will open all books on Kindle. This app needs to be fixed to support Kindle.

I don’t understand the point in having an app just for deals that also get emailed to me. I downloaded the app thinking it would be easier to post reviews here, the same way I do on Goodreads. But I can’t review books on the app, I still have to go to the website. That makes the app useless for me.

When on the app the book says free but when you go to read it, it charges you $9.99, why does it not tell you the price to begin with and why say it is free when it’s nothing free about it.

The website supports different retailers but this app only supports Apple Books. Send me an update when you support Kindle books. Until then, I’ll stick to using your website and email notifications.

Not sure what the problem is, but when the app opens, it doesn’t matter where I tap, nothing happens. Tried deleting and reloading the app, no change.

I'm sure it's a fine app, but I can't get it to open. I deleted it twice and reopened it, and it will not load anything. So I have deleted it. I can just go to the website.

Downloaded, signed up but when I get to the select categories it locks up. I can’t click or swipe.

Terrible app

I find this to be very unfortunate, I really have come to enjoy bookbub in my years of using it. However I mostly read on my kindle and when I’m not on my kindle I am using the kindle app on my iPhone. This app however only allows for the download of iBooks it will not connect you to the kindle book store like the daily or weekly emails would. I was thrilled that an app was available because it cut down on my emails but the app is so severely limited I may switch back to emails. If you are an avid reader using mostly kindle/kindle app or even nook this app is not for you. I am hoping that in the future they add support for kindle and other mediums like they do via email. Until then this app is not useful for me unless I feel like downloading a free iBooks that I am interested in.

I've been using the app for about a month now. I like it and have not had any technical issues, but I think it could use some more features. It would be nice if you could see on the main page when deals will expire, a way to categorize the offers available (e.g. Search by "thriller"), and a way to mark which offers you've taken advantage of as I've noticed that they occasionally repeat. I would also like to see a way to mark offers you've looked at already; a "read" feature similar to what email programs offer after you've opened a new message. Again, I like the app, and will continue to use it, but some enhancements would be nice.

This app is fine but it would be nice if I could see my purchased books from the app instead of having to log into the website. It’s fine for browsing the deals, but there’s so much functionality missing from the app that the website has, and logging into a website is awkward on mobile. That being said, BookBub still hasn’t changed the iBooks issue on mobile where it’s the only choice when you select a book, and I see reviews from 4 years ago with the same complaint…so I’m not thinking they take reviews into account.

After I bought my new iPad I downloaded this BB app in the App Store. I seem to be unable to search for a certain book without having to browse through many books. Why can I review books on BB using my kindle fire and not on my iPad with this app. I even contacted help support and it seems you can’t pinpoint what you’re looking for when using this app. I deleted the app and found the BB website and my profile came up with all my book reviews. Better to use the Website. You get to browse books there too plus a lot more. This app lacks in so many ways!

I really like the idea of the app, but I have to use the website to be able to choose the option for kindle. If I use the app it tried to make me use iBooks. It also doesn’t tell you if the book you’re getting is in the middle of a series until it’s too late and your getting your purchase confirmation. Not a huge deal as I tend to stick to the free books, but still kinda annoying that I have to wait until I have time to start a new series to read the books I got.

👎 There are far too many functions that kick you out of the app to the website to make this app useful. 👎 "Get Deal" takes you to Apple Books. This should function like the website and provide a menu to choose where to purchase every time. If there's going to be a default it should be configurable. 👎 No ability to select author on a book to view Author page like website. 👎 No Dark mode? 👍 Overall design is polished.

Like this app lots of good books/deals. I just wish they had wider or more specific selection process. It bugs me that they only have history not ancient then the modern stuff broken down into centuries. Also they only have LGBT. I'd like to see this broke down into each group. I also wish the length of the book was listed. Other than that it's a good free app.

This was one of my favorite apps, but for the past 4 days it keeps telling me that there is an error on their end and to try back in a few minutes. I tried downloading on another device, but it did the same thing. I can’t even log in to the desktop version. Sad because I got some really amazing deals from this app, but it looks like it’s dead.

The keyboard on iPad app does not automatically appear when you sign it. This app should be updated to fix this issue.

Why would I want to look for books on my iPhone when I have a lovely iPad? Since this app does not have an iPad version (with landscape mode), it's useless to me. I'll stick with the daily emails on my PC.

It is a really good app only for those who use iBooks. Since I have a Kobo ereader this app is no use for me.

Downloaded the app, tried to create an account but the app refused. Deleted, downloaded, tried again, no change. Can't create an account.

Just wish there was a search feature!

So far, I have found 2 books that were free and interested me. Some are still at higher prices than I care to spend. Would like to see more great offers.

This app is decent but it really needs a feature which allows you to list your preferred authors so you can search book deals that way.

I was able to download the app to my phone and was pleasantly surprised with book options, however I have yet to be able to download this for my iPad and that is the device I use for reading eBooks... What's up with that?? Until I can use it on iPad, I won't be purchasing any books free or otherwise.

My Apple Store is set up and has never given me a problem, but I cannot order books from Bookbub. Bookbub is unhelpful.

I've tried logging since I've had an online account before using the app. But it won't let me in. I as well tried resetting my password but it keeps saying that my email isn't an valid email account. With that being said I tried creating an account, but then it says this email is already being used. It'd be nice if someone could help me as I don't think the app is running properly for that. So help!?
