FINAL FANTASY BRAVE EXVIUS Positive Reviews

Great gameI’ve played FFBE since launch way back in 2016, and it continues to be so much more than I thought a mobile gacha game could be. For people who like team building and taking on challenging bosses with a main story and plenty of Final Fantasy nostalgia baked in, this game is for you. They’ve done such a good job with character creation and development that some of the original characters can stand with the all time greats from the main series. And the story can be windy at times, but continues to hold your interest like a good fantasy novel. It’s really remarkable and fascinating how the game has evolved over the years, and somehow both the JP and Global dev teams continue to find new ways to keep the game interesting and fresh, with new mechanics opening up different strategies as the meta changes and evolves over time. Endless content for new players with all levels of difficulty so you can grow with your knowledge and skill and eventually catch up to the meta, and new end game challenges for veteran players to keep them engaged. Basically you can get enjoyment out of this game no matter how casual or serious of a player you are..Version: 7.10.0

Don’t Expect Help from Customer ServiceMake sure you save/write down your Player ID or Inquiry ID. I’ve played this game since 2018 and spent a lot of money on my account. I took some time away from Electronics and just deleted everything. Now that I came back, I realized that my account was linked to the FB I don’t have anymore. Under their “Help Tab” they say they can find it using several ways. Since I didn’t have my player ID I gave them as much of the information as I could. I even gave them transaction dates with amount and Order ID, which is something they literally ask for under the “help” section. Yeah…forget it…once you start talking to someone EVERYTHING on that tab gets thrown out and the only thing that matters to them is the player ID or Inquiry ID. You can have EVERYTHING they ask for but your Player ID and even give them specific transactions that you’d think would be linked to and identify the profile, but nope! They don’t care about all that, it gets ignored and ends up being about player ID. What’s the point of giving requirements if they don’t matter anyway? Maybe change the response to the “help” tab section for account recovery into “you want to come back? Well if you don’t have your player ID or Inquiry ID, we can’t help you”. There is literally no point in putting your “requirements” for the retrieval if you don’t care about actually using it..Version: 6.6.1

Fantastic Free GameThis game is every bit as good as the Super Nintendo version I had as a kid, but instead of paying $50 for it, it’s completely free. Sure, you can spend money for the possibility of top tier characters, but there are still plenty of free chances to progress without spending cash. I easily completed the first two seasons without spending a dime, and I have some pretty cool characters. The storyline is very involved and many “trash” characters actually pop up in the cutscenes, making them far more valuable. There’s a decent array of weapons, armor, and spells, and you can craft some of each- but why bother? You find freebies along the way. I’ve also never had this game crash. I love this game and I can’t wait for the next chapter! Edit: Several years later… Season 3 was beyond terrible. Just a complete mess. Season 4 is great and has a decent cast of characters, but the game is now so bloated that it is impossible to maintain on a simple iPhone. Constant updates are needed. Also, many tasks now involve the same fight over and over again, just with varying intensity. Several key process have been changed as well, such as upgrading characters, isolating older players. I will likely uninstall after this season wraps up..Version: 7.9.0

Great but an Installation NightmareI played this game actively, obsessively from November 2016 until earlier this year in 2020. This game was a serious part of my life and for a long time I felt it deserved 5 stars. But the game becomes incredibly stale for gamers, every additional level. Also it becomes way overly complicated. But most importantly, my biggest dealbreaker is how often they’d update the game and I was forced to reinstall 2gigs of game many many many many times. The thing is that you MUST have the game open and watch a loading bar for 10-15 minutes. It breaks up your day, and i have gone multiple days not installing it because I’m just too tired or too busy to sit through a loading screen. The game simply got too big and it is a chore to maintain. There are SO many things in the game to try to check in on every day. At some point it feels like work. And the reinstallations were my dealbreaker. I actually reached a breaking point from it. It really helped me curb the addiction so ironically I think the game’s awful loading times helped free me from this obsession. That’s how bad it gets. And I just have zero interest in reinstalling. Thank you for the hundreds and hundreds of hours I got to waste away with small pleasures. RIPU (rest in peace uninstalled)..Version: 5.0.0

Fun but FrustratingThe game itself is great. People complaining about having to pay to enjoy the game are either impatient or can’t control their impulse to buy. Strategy is just as important as top units. And that includes building out the units you have strategically and planning your teams. Some of the best units are limited, so of course you can’t expect to get them unless there’s a banner. Recently I was disappointed not to get a couple must-have, but limited banner units. Yet around the same time, I managed to pull Tidus and Aileen. Both rainbow units. I spent nothing. So why only 3 stars? I’m frustrated with GUMI’s quality control and how they’ve structured their updates. I’ll give them credit for trying to fix issues quickly. But why are there always so many? And the thing I hate most is the weekly maintenance. Too frequent and for too long. Do other games have to put up with this? I’ve played other mobile games, including a couple of other gacha games, and I’ve never experienced this before? Is it just me? I’m okay with a couple hours here and there. But seriously? After 10 hours of last night’s “maintenance”, they’ve extended it for further emergency maintenance until who knows when. This isn’t the first time. I suppose the upside is that we get lots of compensation gifts. 🙄.Version: 2.6.1

A Final Fantasy for Everyone!I’ve been playing this game since launch so I know what I’m saying when I say that this game lives up to the traditional idea of what a Final Fantasy game should be like at its core. I have had so much fun exploring the world of Lapis with Rain, Lasswell, Fina and their friends, and have had the most amazing time exploring the backstories for all the different unique character units in the game. Granted, the summon system might seem a little broken to people who lack the luck, money, or drive to grind for the free lapis/premium currency of the game, but if you don’t take the game too seriously and just have fun with it then you won’t care too much if you get a five-star base character with each and -EVERY- pull (like I know some people do). There are plenty of other characters in the game that can do what you need them to do, and you can always make friends with people who have the characters you want to test out. It’s a great game that any RPG fan should at least try once, if only for the epic story that just finished its first season recently! Come join the rest of us in the exciting world of Lapis, everyone!.Version: 2.4.1

Good game but....This is honestly a good game. It fills a lot of boredom gaps throughout the day. It’s also the one game I’ve played that makes me hate the Square Enix name. Banners are like impossible goals to some and part of me feels that Gumi pre-determines your character pool at the star of your game. If you have a favorite character that comes and goes, your chance of getting him/her are very very VERY slim unless your chosen to get it. The drop percentages mean nothing. For example... Cloud and Sephiroth comes out, everyone wants the naturally. You save up 50 tickets, countless 5 star or 10+1 guarantees, use them all over a period of a few days and not get either. However, you get 17 of the same other characters on the banner. Then what makes it worse, you do your daily arena burn and run across someone that was able to pull 5 cloud/sephiroths. The games dynamics are completely flawed for a fair balance and I think that’s hurt the fan base. For me, I tend to get tanks and mages, nothing else. If they can find a way to fix their biased system, it would be an amazing experience but honestly I’m tired of my rainbow pulls being the same 2-3 I already have, especially when you pull directly from an event banner. Come on Gumi/Square... you’re killing your fan base on a really good game....Version: 2.8.0

InvigoratingThis app has its up and downs, but I can’t do it justice. The storyline seems bland and basic at first, however drawing you in. You’re given cliches that warp into a rollercoaster. There are sudden deaths, twists and turns, plot twists and hilarity in obscure places. The story wasn’t like a game, it was like reading a book, and I found myself constantly wanting to know more. Though childish at times, I loved it. Motivation is never lacking. There are always new units, new combos, new items, and new obstacles. You’re never held back by in app purchases. There are constantly new challenges and side quests, most weekends rooms to speed up your progress. I enjoyed the progression. Your given units get you far enough through the game to let time to get better units. The first three units when later worked on even become extremely valuable to your team. I’ve played this game forever, feels like a year, and I’ve only just beat the first season. Take your time, enjoy yourself. I sure as hell did..Version: 2.3.1

Fantastic final fantasyMy first FF was 4 (what we called 2 here in US) when i was a child, i've been a life long fan since. but i haven't really liked any of the games past X and X2. this game finally gave me the old school traditional FF play that i remember from the old games. i truly think Brave Exvius is one i the best final fantasy games ever made, and by far the best in over 15 years. i have beloved characters from final fantasy 4, 6(my fav), 7, tactics, 9, and even X. it's like a dream team, and they keep making even more awesome characters. yes it can be very difficult at times to get characters you want, but there is plenty to keep you entertained day to day and before you know it you'll have some of your favs. plus you get to bring along a friend and they often have cool characters for you to use. because that's what the FF series has always been about, cool heroic characters. i've been playing for over two years now and i probably will for years to come..Version: 3.8.9

Upon further review.. yeah, this game still gets 1*There is a good game in here, no doubt. However, the end game is really difficult unless you pull a couple of super strong units and the 1% rainbow rate and no guaranteed rainbow on a 10+1 makes it very difficult to get those units. The battles have to be done in a very precise manner or else you will lose. The story mode is mediocre. Side stories and story events do flesh out the characters somewhat, but it’s hard to get invested in the characters that get introduced without much development. Plus Jake and Lid have no chemistry, and Lid is 16 and Jake is 27 so please do not put them together. It’s creepy. As said above, the gacha is extremely unforgiving and is the main reason why I am keeping my rating at a 1*. If the rainbow rate can be 8-10% instead of 1%, and there would be a guaranteed rainbow on 10+1 pulls, it would certainly improve my rating and perhaps get me to spend money. It would make it a 4* at least, and moving some of the utterly useless 3* with really bad trust masteries to the friend summon pool would make it a 5* and would make the game worth reinstalling..Version: 3.2.1

Hear me outBeen playing this game since the release of it I remember the grind and the heart strings this game pulled when I first played and watching the growth of lasswell and rain up until they became Kong’s has been one of the greatest adventures I’ve been on with a game and all in all it’s an amazing game I the story is amazing the development in characters and all it’s just outstandingly done now my only grip is the way the game devs have taken I remember when step up summons were actually genuinely step summons instead of starting from high and staying there it gets difficult to farm lapis unless there’s a constant event to give it or unless of course you buy it and even still the chances of getting better units compared to what they were have been died down entirely i won’t say it’s pay to play but it does feel like that’s the way this game is going and it’s not a good road from what it was I’m sad to see it as is maybe relook at things and go back to how they were make it the way that we as the players can feel the power spikes or if we use our lapis it be meaningful and all.Version: 5.2.6

Top Gacha GameThis is my first review ever. I have played Final Fantasy: Brave Exvius since Launch. Since this game has came out, it has went from a disappointing game to an amazing one. The events in this game are great, its extremely F2P friendly, and while the rates arent that great (3% for a 5 star or rainbow as we in this community call it, and out of that 3%, its a 2% off banner rainbow, 1% on banner rainbow) most banners now have step up summons that guarentee a banner rainbow. The game is grindy, but it isnt horrible like other gatchas. The costumer support is fast to respond and quite fair (I accidently infused a rainbow, they gave me the unit back so I could prism it for a 7*). The story is in depth and it will draw you in, especially season 2. Events every week, log in rewards, special log in rewards. This game has everything you could want. If you are a fan of gacha or Final Fantasy, this game is for you. Btw Gumi, I am loving 7* Yuna. Thank you for fixng her and making her a meta unit again..Version: 3.3.3

Long time FF fan some issuesThe game is absolutely consuming, by far leveling up a 7 star team is the most strenuous part but once you do your power level explodes one character 7 stared character allows a player to go from noice to expert level bosses. Game is jam backed full of content with many quest, summons and “vortex” missions. The game is great my biggest gripe is the summon banners. Makes it very hard to summon characters you need/want and after a certain point summoning the same character multiple times becomes somewhat useless. But saving grace select summon tickets allowing you to pull a single character at the cost of 10 tickets and the new super trust moogle tickets allowing you to get the super trust master(STMR) for a character. Again great game just wish banners of old characters or banners of specific games would be promoted so there’s a greater chance of you locking down a 7 star team..Version: 4.1.5

Fun, free, easy to grasp, challenging to masterI have so many 5, 6,and 7 Star units...probably around 100 for less than a year of playing, and I’ve never spent a penny. Drop rates are so extremely good that I can’t even even afford to level up half of the rare units I have. Almost all events have an easy, medium, hard, and advanced mode so no matter where you are in skill level, you can almost always participate. The main quest gives you so many opportunities for espers, and tons of Lapis(the rare in game currency you use to buy rare things)...and even though I’ve completed the main quest so far, and all the event quest in the last few months, there are still about 20-30 optional bosses that give great rewards and I haven’t figured out the strategy to beating yet. Plus every week-2 weeks is a new event that gives you rare items and equipment...very well done..Version: 3.2.0

I love the game but connection issues hold back 2*The connection issues are horrifying. My iPhone, iPad and kindle all experience significant connection issues. My wifi is very good and I can be sitting two feet from the modem, other wifi devices not in use/turned off, not on VPN or airplane mode and nothing running in the background and it doesn’t. The issues persist. For my kindle it is very frequent crashes to desktop or sudden connection issues followed by “please login”. For my apple devices it is connection issues followed by “please login” followed by please resync your device to your account. It happens so that I have actually missed story content and needed to watch a friend go through it to see what happened. It is worse on the apple devices but only just. My phone is updated but a little old but my iPad is not. It is new and completely updated as well. Fix these issues, which according to the forums and other comments are not something only I am experiencing, and this would be a 7* star game easy. ;).Version: 4.2.0

Love it, not perfect thoughThis game is great. All of the features and aspects of the game are a little overwhelming starting out (I'm a big FF fan, but have never played one of this style) but I mastered them eventually. I feel like some aspects of the game could have been designed better: Colosseum is stupid easy, Arena is stupid hard because of the limited way you have to select opponents (at first), and it's hard to orient oneself with the various materials available (little in-game documentation, in this regard). Also the dialogue can be rather sub-par (rather lame back and forks MN forths ). Overall great fun though. The plot itself is interesting and the gameplay is very well done. Well suited for mobile play. Fans of the genre will get a kick out of the throwback characters from what seems like EVERY FF series. Lastly, the pay-to-play doesn't get in the way, at least not yet for me and I feel like I'm doing quite well and have played almost every day for a week or two now..Version: 2.2.3

Fun gameThis game has a lot of depth and as far as F2P vs. P2W debate goes I’d say this falls in the middle. You don’t NEED to spend money in order to advance and do well, however it’s going to be very slow going as you power creep your way up the ladder. All in all I really enjoy this game and the amount of depth involved in each character customization. What really frustrates is how slow they are getting out updates and something they need to address. They have weekly maintenance which I’m 100% on board with - lasts 6-8 hours or so - the problem is these Updates aren’t installed and they’re aware of the issue - in essence I’ve been unable to play the game for over 12 hours because it says new version please update but guess what there’s no new version on iTunes so they’re response is please try again later... no eta on when these patches are actually available. Weird and something you’d think shouldn’t be an issue for a top end gaming company..Version: 2.7.3

It’s time to let it outI love this game, don’t get me wrong-it has brought me so much nostalgia and joy with the interesting story and summon groups and skills. But it’s gown from happy to, well obviously, what the heck Gumi! Japan gets all this great compensation and everything like that, but also-the time we had a day to two day long down of servers, all we got was just 500 lapis and some energy, meanwhile with a half a day down while doing he update in JP, there’s a free multi. As well as I want this game to continue and go far, but you need to listen and do more for the community and game. I get it, you’re a game company and need money, but make it easier for people to catch up when they’re behind, and stop with the predatory bundles-because those are draining the money that you get quicker when you release them over and over. Over all though, for people reading this, this game is good imo, but it has fallen from grace I feel. Now 5 star pulls are like ‘oh, I hope they’re in the meta or they’re a good damage dealer’ and back in the day it was ‘awesome, I got Noct’, so Gumi please listen to the community and fix your problem, give us more content and no more repeat events, because no one cares about those anymore, and maybe make less limited time banners and events because that is also something that makes it hard to continue playing with no good units really staying. I want the game to stay, but also make it where you help the community.Version: 3.4.3

Fun but frustratingWhile this game seems to be a great mix old school rpg and newer mobile game play, there is one main complaint that I want to put out there. The friends system, the game limits you to 25-30 friends if you can find them! I’ve been playing for over a month and only have 3 friends because everyone else has hit their limits! This wouldn’t be so bad if there wasn’t the daily quests of ‘send gifts to 5 friends.’ Then to add insult to injury, you go to friends>find which shows you a list of ppl, all well and good, find new friends, right? Wrong, it shows you a list of people THAT HAVE HIT THEIR LIMIT ALREADY. What good is that? I don’t know if it’s because I’m not on FB or what, but I’ve also never seen a place to accept a friend request, I’ve sent plenty but not once have I seen where to accept or decline them, and trust me I’ve looked. Outside of that buggy friends system I’ve enjoyed the rest of gameplay between the main world, vortex, arena, etc all. Proud FF fanatic since ‘97!.Version: 3.6.3

Thank You SE for such a great game!I have been playing this game since it first came out and after playing this long I just felt like I HAD to write this review so that... 1) anyone thinking about downloading this game can read this and see some of my favorite things this game has to offer in hopes that even more people will download, enjoy, and support this brilliant game And... 2) I could say thank you to Square Enix for giving all of us mobile users a game that really lives up to the Final Fantasy standard. The hard work you have put into this game has not only made this the best mobile RPG, but one of the most satisfying and enjoyable games, in general, that I have played in years. If you have not played this game then download it and play it. It is kept fresh with frequent and fun updates and between the ever-growing list of characters to unlock and level up. There will almost always be something to do in this game. Also this game has arena, which is a PVP-like experience where you can test your hard work against other player’s best teams. I could go on and on, but just download it now and play it. Don’t forget to share and spread the word too. I want this game to continue to grow and prosper. The hard work and dedication that has been put into this game deserves it.Version: 2.8.0

Decent gameI've been playing this for over a year. It's a gotcha game. You know when you start playing any mobile game, you have to pay to be the best. With that being said I've spent roughly 800 in a year and I'm pretty happy with what I have in the game. My buddy has played just as long as me and only spent 20 bucks. He has just a few less rainbow summons then me. What I am writing about is the fact you don't have to spend money on this game to compete. This is a f2p friendly game , with weekly updates and challenging content that isn't impossible to complete. Only downfall off the game is customer support. They are very slow with a response and offer very little help. If you play longterm, make sure you link it to a Facebook account even if you have to make a bs Facebook account to login with so you don't lose your progress....Version: 2.2.3

SQUARE ENIX PLEASE READI got the game and loved it but unfortunately after playing an hour or so I left the game for a couple minutes then I came back and now it won’t let me hit the back button or go to previous quests. Before I left the app I had four units in my party ( because I wanted to level them up so they could be the same level as my other unit). Then it wouldn’t let me tap on my units in my party nor let me put another one in my party ( because I only had four in and I wanted to put one more in to make the full team of five). Also my units are now invincible and will stay at one hp and never die. This led me to being stuck in a battle with Sheratan my units can only damage it to 99% and will stay at one hp. Normally my units most likely die and I’d lose. It also doesn’t let me give up/flee. So now I’m stuck with Sheratan for eternity. I sent in an inquiry, and the support team is slow to write back..Version: 2.5.1

Download HellI REALLY love this game. It's nostalgia with a new twist with frequent updates. But therein lies the problem. Literally every time I log in to the game, there is either down time or an update or five. I cannot play the game on the fly because there is always 5 min to an hour worth of updates; even when I just updated. Seriously? You don't need a 2GB patch every time someone farts. "Sorry we are down for extended maintenance. We decided Noctis' farts should smell like strawberries instead of roses." The updates are so frequent that I spend more time downloading than actually playing. People that play mobile games are usually playing on a break or in between real life events. Update: I'm not sure if this is intended, but every time I start the game, I am met with a 2MB download followed by a ~90MB download then a 2GB download. It almost seems to not retain the fact that I have already downloaded it..Version: 4.0.6

New reviewAfter playing it for a little while longer I’ve developed a few tips for starting this game. Be patient, be patient patient patient, even if you don’t get the unit you want, you can always try again. Don’t hope for units either, blowing all your lapis on one spawn can be devastating in the long run. Try to build off of the units you already have and you’ll see a lot more success long term wise. And they come out with biweekly events, so don’t worry about getting bored. There’s only one flaw in this game in my opinion, and it isn’t bugs, it isn’t spawns, it’s the NRG system. If this system did not exist I would be playing 24/7, and spending money too. But the fact that I get to play for like 5 minutes tops then have to hop off is the most tedious thing ever. 3 stars is appropriate if there was an NRG system buff (make a faster recharge system) or just removing it, this game would be my favorite mobile game of all time, Easy fix. C’mon Square Enix..Version: 4.1.6

What to expect as a non or low spenderNobody likes the hero summoner model but let me say that FFBE does well to give non/low spending players ways to get to end game. In comparison to Fire Emblem: Heroes, FFBE and games like it, FFBE gives players more access to resources and summons in the form of events and ticket summons. I’ve been playing for a few months now and I do feel like the paywall is not absolute. At first it was discouraging to look at various tier lists and seeing all the S tier units that are either impossible to get (for example Ang whose event has come and gone) and the units that are only 5 star summons at the very peak. But you don’t need those units to attempt the end game content. In fact, the only top tier character I have is CG Nichol from his recent banner. With patience and luck you can steadily improve your team without feeling you’ve wasted the time and resources on characters you’ve replaced on your main party. You need high level characters to do expeditions (idle farming quests that give access to other resources to further progression). In the end it’s another hero summoner, but the content is engaging and fun at every stage of the progression. New events and content is constantly being added and the community on the forums is very helpful..Version: 2.8.1

Fun but not at the same timeHello I myself am a new player. It’s fun and addicting but it’s rare to get the characters I want and I have to spend money to get more lapis(I have not spent money yet). My dad introduced me to this game a few years ago but I never got into it. So I started playing it a week ago. My dad has been playing since it first came out but quit 2 years ago. He quit because they kept coming out with revamped characters, he was max lvl and had all the good characters, and he maxed out everything, plus all the people he followed quit. It’s sad to see the FFBE community slowly dwindle down to a hollow shell. So ffbe makers if you read this can you pls make characters more rollable and can you make it overall more enjoyable for the old players who played the game and quit a long time ago. Thanks for this fun game and have a nice day.Version: 7.0.0

Please help meI was fighting the illusion of Sheratan and she couldn’t take away my 1 hp. I also couldn’t deal any damage. I couldn’t escape the battle, so I deleted it and reinstalled it. But it still stayed on the Sheratan battle even though everything should’ve been cleared. So then I reentered the app and got to the title screen, but it wouldn’t respond to my fingers. I cleared it and reentered again but the same thing is happening. I would actually rate it 5 stars because this game is amazing, but it’s because of this weird glitch or something that I can’t even play the game. But it could just be my phone. I think lots of people should play this. I’m just seeking help because it’s a shame I can’t even complete what was my favorite FF game so far. Edit: yay it was fixed and now I have over 3million Gil Winner Winner Chicken Dinner.Version: 3.0.2

Was a nice little nostalgia tripI dunno about this season this I’ve enjoyed playing sense the global launch but this season...I’m not sure where they’re going. Season 3 story is a low point to me the supporting characters are far more interesting then Fina it’s like the writers dumped every trope into her. Uncertainty✔️ Friendship is Magic✔️ Whiny✔️ Damsel in Distress✔️ Power Outage✔️ Which all these wouldn’t be bad but they addressed this in season 1 &2 and just takes away from Fina as a character. Then there’s the Neo Visions you gotta have both of a character’s trust and super trust rewards to awaken then they allow you to pull a Neo Vision that doesn’t have trust master unlocked which breaks the conditions to get a Neo vision and not to mention you gotta pour 5 star units into the Neo Vision unit which have a low pull rate but I have had pretty good luck getting 5 stars but relying solely RNG to max out NV Unit is just stupid. Last thing is Dark Visions which is just roided out damage sponge espers with ridiculous stats that are meant to drain in unprepared players of your stocked piled lapis which takes away from any real effort, you can just stack your party with DPS and throw them at the boss until you run out of lapis. I really liked this game when it first came out the sprites reminded me of Secret of Mana and Chrono Trigger but I’m not sure where they’re really going this season. Hope they figure it out..Version: 5.1.0

Yes yes yes!I don’t write reviews for mobile games because I don’t normally play them that long to have the urge to write one. I have been playing FFBE for over a year now (off and on). It’s off and on because I get really addicted to it, to the point I have to put it down for awhile before it consumes me. Then later on I will open it up and get addicted all over again. The story mode is very generic in its plot mechanics, but that didn’t stop me from enjoying the story especially now that most of the questions are getting answers. This game does have all the elements of a real FF game, even the videos are just as sharp, though not many and mostly summons, but now they are introducing limit breaks with the same kind of video. I recommend this game to any FF fan and even to those who like a good old fashion turn base RPG..Version: 2.6.0

Best Game, but.....This is one of the best games I’ve ever played, but I play this on 3 devices, and I sometimes want to trade my units to my other accounts. That led me here to ask you, Square Enix/FFBE team; can you make a way to trade units? There can be a limit to how much you can use it, like once a week, once every other week, or once a month, and you could put the unit back to base star and level 1, because I think it would be too overpowered to trade a unit at level 100.......... Maybe you could have the person take off all equipment and materia before trading. Also, I know too much about gaming to know people spam bad units when trading, so maybe put a notification of a request to trade and what unit they want to trade and what for. If you could do that, I would love that, but either way, Best. Game. Ever..Version: 3.0.2

Solid Game but drop rates are BSThe game itself is solid and challenging, but the drop rates themselves are absolutely horrible. While the drop rate to get a 5 star character is not bad, there a definitely rates within the 5 star pool that are geared to the much weaker characters. I cannot tell you how many duplicate 5 stars I have of less than optimal characters while still desperately hoping for those BIS characters. It’s really frustrating to know that every time a good pull comes up, the deck is stacked against you to get a great character. The only real hope was the character specific banners, and even then now they have a 2 5 star characters on each banner, and 1 is very much inferior, so you run the same issues. All in all, if you are F2P you don’t have much to complain about, but if you are a Dolphin or Whale, there much more satisfying games to spend your money on where the rolls are better suited in your favor..Version: 2.7.1

Very good butIf your a super sore loser of can't control yourself around money don't play the game because it's incredibly fun but gives lots of chances to throw money away and it's unlikely to get what you want. The only way to play the game is just to work with what you get and have fun..Version: 3.4.5

EnjoyableI truly love the game and it has very good depths. But the randomness of getting characters with the low chances at times will probably turn away many people..Version: 2.2.3

Fantastic gameI just wanted to start of by saying that this is the best mobile game I have ever come across in my opinion and by far the most professionally done. To give context as to how good this game is. I was going through the main storyline and skipping all the text just so I could farm up materials and xp. However I found myself completely pulled in by the little cutscenes that I couldn’t not read the storyline no mater how bad I wanted that 7 star character. In the end the story is fantastic and the gameplay is amazing. So many characters to get and so much Nostalgia if you have played any other FF game due to so many characters from other FF games being in here. There are even collaboration characters such as ones from Nier and other popular games/ anime. Also to anyone who says you can’t get good at this game without spending money; you are very wrong. I am very late game and can fight against most top tier bosses with ease and I haven’t spent a single dime on this game. 11/10.Version: 3.5.0

What did you do to the UIThebUI looked great in the last patch but in this update it looks so much cheaper and less appealing. The text is harder to read, the menus look worse and it has this awful blue light gloss over it please change it back..Version: 7.5.0

Last update has mess somethingKeep disconnecting since the last update. Really annoying.Version: 8.12.0

NumIn my tum..Version: 2.2.3

What happened to Brave Frontier tho? This looks exactly like my old favorite game called Brave Frontier that was deleted.Version: 8.9.0

Friends capIt’s very nice and I enjoy playing it very much only I can’t progress the new player quests past the standard summon stage. Back then finding friends was easy but after starting in 2023 it’s been next to impossible to find recent players with space for new friends. Tldr: love it but friend cap is frustrating Will give 5stars when recent players are shown and have space for friends..Version: 8.9.0

Can’t even log in, no communication about the issues. Don’t playCan’t play.Version: 8.6.0

1When i try to add someone it says there friend list is full.Version: 7.2.0

Loved this game to oblivionThis game was my all time favourite game I used to be so addicted to this game then the load out of the games format Changed then became to confusing and hard to understand I miss the way it use to look and be run don’t know if anyone else has this on their mind but I would love to see this game back to how y’all originally had it No dissing I still love this game!!!!!.Version: 8.5.0

The Single best cell gameOf all the cell games this is by far the best stories, beautiful well written first time I’ve ever been addicted to one and is my 4th favourite Final Fantasy game. And I played them all.Version: 8.4.0

Pretty Good but Getting WorseNew units are extremely boring and take way too much to unlock their potential, but apart from that it’s pretty good. Have been playing since the 6* era, and it’s retained my attention since then. Story is good for the most part, which is rare for a gacha game. There are some cringey moments but it’s enjoyable overall. My main gripe is the new Neo Visions which typically have 4-6 abilities split between two forms. It’s incredibly boring and you need like 3 copies of one unit for it to become usable. Stick with 7* for as long as you can..Version: 6.4.0

Solid game, howeverI like the game and very much love Final Fantasy, but it needs some sort of feature to skip turns of characters (overpowered friend characters when I’m trying to complete quests) as well as not offering “add as friend” to people who already are maxed on friends. Would also like to be able to view character stories easier. I recall there being the feature a few years ago, but now I can’t find it when I view a character..Version: 4.2.6

Love itBest game, 8/10 would recommend.Version: 6.3.5

Don’t listen to themThis is the best game ever and the guys hating on it are Reddit/gamefaqs fanboys who just didn’t get what they want when they want. The community is literally 90% complainers and sore losers in mamas basement. The game itself has been amazing and I’m super op and have never spent a dime. It’s people like this who ruin the game for everyone else and get it ended sooner than needed. You guys are Clown shoes..Version: 6.3.1

Game is funThe game is fun but since thursdays update i cant even lvl up my units the app keeps crashing.Version: 6.3.0

Fantastic Story and Events but Poorly ManagedThe game itself is a hallmark of Final Fantasy storytelling, on par with mainline titles. There are a variety of different game modes and fun events. The game itself remains poorly managed by Gumi with inconsistent/unfocused patching that is not aimed at improving user experience..Version: 5.0.1

Greatest game everIve been playing this game since june 2016, I would never had believe how serious this will become. A bit frustating the first month (3 rainbows in 6 months) ! But now I got more than 300 rainbows, since the 7* units this game is totally different. Its a long road if you start now, but it’s worth. I put a little bit of money from time to time but it’s totally optional and you can play & be really competitve without $, and Gumi are very generous, they give you so much great freestuff all the time, best mobile game by far.Version: 4.2.6

Takes your timeI spent 100 HOURS on a mobile game TBH it’s a good game but it makes you addicted to it and I know a lot of people who spent hundreds of dollars but I didn’t spend a cent and I have on of the strongest units in the game you just have to wait for the perfect moment to spend your resources or you will lose a fortune like my friends. It has a tiny small little flaw and it’s the downloads it’s 3.5 GB.Version: 4.2.1

Amazing and nostalgicThis game makes me want to play all the other final fantasy games. All the old heroes, and the new ones, are amazing and I love the combat strategy and style.Version: 4.1.6

Great Game HoweverIt’s a real Final Fantasy adventure, seemingly endless. A large crop of new and old characters from all Final Fantasy games. The one main downside to this game, as of current, is the fact that there are sooo many updates. Daily updates, sometimes twice in a day. I woke up one morning to update the game and after that didn’t want to play it because of how long it took... Then later that afternoon I went to play it because I had gotten the update done and you guessed it!... there is another update... that take just as long if not longer then the one from the morning....Version: 4.1.6
