However there are a few recent updates that have myself and just about every other player pretty ticked off. as someone who grew up watching the original Pokémon air on tv, begging my parents to buy the $3-$4 pack of trading cards, it’s a kid from the 90s dream come true. The infuriating updates are for items in the shop, you used to be able to buy 3 mobile raid passes (allows players to invite others to battle remote raids together) for 250 poke coins which is roughly $2.50 USD, but they RAISED the price to almost $2 for a SINGLE pass… also you’re able to send gifts to friends in the game and you can postcard gifts in an album, which I thought was really cool debut as having friends in Australia and other “across the pond” locations being from east coast USA except there used to be no limit on how many you could add to your album and with that recent update you now have to pay to buy additional “pages” for said album… im sure I’ve spent a couple hundred prior to these updates but since the increase I’ve noticed less raid invites obviously from more players being less abled to even play remote raids on their own ultimately resulting in less invites for friends to join in the battles. Hopefully they’ll come to their senses and realize how detrimental this has been to the experience. Ninantic is a MULTI BILLION dollar company and it seems like a rather greedy change to the app assuming remote raid passes are one of their top sellers in the shop..The real OGJB420Version: 0.271.2

Two battle typesThis game is one of my top favorites because it’s a realistic vision of the games but my only issues are the games battle the tap system it’s nice to have and it make it easier for everyone but what if you could pick (example, some people play in VR some in AR )have a battle system set up to be like the shows and the hand held games where you can choose to use the tape system or a skill system like the game but make it the hits more realistic like a fight in the show a few other points the coins system is flawed yet it made it a little harder for the people pay to play not much tho since they don’t have to use a Jim to get coin so not the coin limit is bad but it makes it that much harder for people who actually play the game , another thing is the team switch this took away from the team feature . Last ,hidden items like you could find in the games you could use lots of tools or sometimes even walk over Items and find them maybe have ultra rare items that your buddy can find or put them in place’s people don’t go like wooded areas I mean we can take pictures of are pokemon in AR why not find /a have a alert from your buddy that tells you to play with your buddy an when you turn on the camera there could be a Haunted building or a tower with some rare item or challenge inside I think that these ideas would be fun and there still a choice so people or like how the game is now can continue to enjoy it that way ,and the real fans have something to enjoy immersing them self’s in.MeliodasdsVersion: 0.195.3

I really love this game and I’m a 17 year old girlI have always been a huge Pokémon nerd thank you for making this game it is fine and also it’s an exercising game as well y’all have made it into a real life Pokémon game like the old Pokémon games it makes me feel like I am one of the real Pokémon trainers so thank you again for all the effort you and your company have put into this game and the graphics and everything else even professor looks this just like he did in the old Pokémon show but the game could use some touches like in the old game there were the strategies of a 3 to 4 moves that could be replaced instead of just having one move and then one special move after you tap so many times and also the dodging like the old Pokémon games so I think that Pokémon go should have the dodging strategy as well instead of just fighting back-and-forth nonstop like the old Pokémon games did one trainer after the other makes their move I also think that is Pokémon go players shouldn’t have to be around other Pokémon go players just to add them as friends on our apps we should have an addition of Pokémon go players pop up on our phones or tablets to be able to I have more than just one trainer to battle with us again gyms and things like that and to send gifts to and also I think Pokémon go should have a place in the app to chat instead of Facebook Snapchat and Instagram and even Twitter but overall I think this app is a wonderful app it just needs some touches to it but thank you again for making this app.Gwendolyn EichlerVersion: 1.191.0

Trainer battlesI really love this game but with the glitches its hard to play. I battle a lot, but when i do i experience some annoying glitches. I will be in battle and click my attack and the Pokémon will just keep attacking and the game wont let me use my attack, i will hit the other player's Pokémon and they will have no hp left on the Pokémon but then the last Pokémon there on that faints it will do the animation of the Pokémon going away then it will come back and they use there attack but the Pokémon fainted and then comes back that glitch is very annoying. Other times when i will be playing the game will close out completly or randomly freeze and that isnt cool cause it takes a while to open again, and i know for a fact other players dont agree with this but the shop is a joke i get the upgrades being 200 coins but really 100 for a poffin i mean i get it, it gives extra hearts but really coins are hard to get and they are limmited to get per day i play this game on my switch and the pokeballs are not flipping 100 coins there 50 on my switch i think thats a scam you guys limmit the amount you get per day but then make everything in the shop so expensive not cool please lower the price or something or just let the Pokémon send more coins anything just make the shop FAIR. Good game, a few suggestionsI have really, really loved this game. It's a good combination of the real world and in game stuff-you have to walk around to get to Pokemon, poke stops, and so on. I really enjoy playing it. There aren't any ads either. But like the title, I've got a few suggestions. For one, I feel like some of the tasks in the research you have to do seem really hard-like catching 250 Pokemon in a day. Sometimes we just don't get that many Pokemon to pop up. So perhaps change that a little? Then there's the appraising of the Pokemon- I feel like in most other Pokemon games, you can train your Pokemon to be really good, but in the game, you catch a Pokemon and they can be 0, 1, 2, 3, or 4 stars, four being perfect. But then you can't change it. I feel like this is especially frustrating when you've caught a raid Pokemon and then they're zero stars, or when you catch a legendary or a rare Pokemon that's just really weak. I'd propose that you add a training option to Pokemon go- I know there's a lot of trainers out there that have so very many Pokemon candies for some, so why not be able to use those for leveling up the attack, HP, and defense of your Pokemon? You could also add quests to be able to do that- kind of like Pokemon buddy evolving tasks. That's mostly it-so thank you so much if you read this. Nice game but...Definitely a good game but I have a few complaints. this first part is defending one of my fav pokemon so if you're not interested go to the paragraph below this next one so. I don't know who decided to do this but... they put pikachu in a mimikyu outfit... I think I joined around 2019 (on and off) and I don't really remember this. considering how mimikyu I think isn't even in the game and it's backstory... I feel mimikyu. this is exactly why I don't like pikachu much. uh fix this. please. hello. this is my second (or first if you skipped my rant) complaint. these are things pretty minor that I wanted to put in all one part. 1. the graphics. if they haven't updated the graphics yet then I would've made them more similar to the designs and animations like scarlet and violet's. I feel that it would match with the more realistic designs of the avatars and would look better in AR mode. or if you're not worried about the pokemon designs just yet then the avatars are also... I don't even know how to describe them. they look realistic but not realistic at the same time and they look like they're from the uncanny valley. again, if you're not into changing the pokemon designs to be more realistic, do vice-versa with the avatars. make them more cartoony or more like in the games/anime. 2. Love it, but could use some SERIOUS work.So I have loved Pokémon my whole life and recently got the app. I love it, but problems became more and more apparent as time went on. A few things I would love to have added is the ability to up a Pokémon’s star rating. Be it through battling, spinning, time as a buddy, whatever, just as long as you don’t have to spend pokecoins. You can, but don’t have to is my idea. This leads into the scarcity of the currency. 50 coins, even if the Pokémon has been there A MONTH?! No. It should be way more. I’d say 10 coins a day. And also incubators. These need to have a permanent research task so you can get them, because they cost a ton and not everybody can buy coins and some live far away from gyms. Also, the ditto Pokémon. I have been trying for MONTHS to get it, but the pokemon will not show up. Could you make a way to lure ditto, or at least tell us what pokemon ditto is, or can it work like zorua? Also, the evolution problem. I have been working on getting a sun stone since you guys dropped Helioptile and a few other pokemon, but I can’t find sun stones ANYWHERE! Same goes for unova stones! If you could make these more common, that would be great! Also potions! And pinap berries! Now, one last thing before I go: the battle limit. It’s stupid you want us to only be able to battle about 20 rounds a day! We should be allowed to do whatever! Better with each updateThis game has come so far since 2016! It’s not nearly as buggy as it was in the past and there are so many new features that make the game awesome. Only thing I wish could be changed is that you have to be level 38 or higher to create poke stops and do some other AR related things. I’ve been playing my current character since September of 2019 and I play regularly, but I’m only at level 33 (as of November 2021, and I’ve been stuck on level 33 for months). I’ve been waiting to make poke stops in my area because there are none immediately near my house and none in my neighborhood. I can walk to another neighborhood and spin poke stops, but it’s quite far. I’ve been trying to reach level 38 so I can put one at the front of my neighborhood. I feel like level 35 would be a better cutoff for requesting poke stops, or even level 30, as it takes a committed player at least a good year or so to get there. Finally, there are some bugs with scanning poke stops for quests. I’ve found that it only goes through if I’m connected to a reliable source of WiFi. For example, it will give me an error if I try to scan a poke stop at a park because there is no WiFi available, and if I try to use the mall WiFi to scan a stop at the mall, it also gives me an error after so long of waiting because the WiFi isn’t great. I have been unable to save the scans to upload later either; it’s just been very buggy for me. Overall, great game, it’s bound to have some bugs of course, so just a few suggestions to the developers to work on. LOOVE the game butLove the game but when you throw a pokeball to catch the Pokémon sometimes looks closer or further than it is for the hit target when throwing it. Can that be fixed to where if it looks far or farish it’ll be far or farish. Or close/closeish, it’ll be more to the distance. And if possible the far Pokémon I sometimes waste my pokeballs with them because it looks closer but when I throw it it’s like too far even if i aim further it’ll still not land after like 2-4 throws and it’s honestly annoying. If it’s too far to catch then why let me have the “opportunity to catch it” and if it looks closer then it’s the same problem i just mentioned above. Please and thank you if anyone who can fix the problem sees this and does so. Please try get that update out soon as you possibly can. I love Pokémon Go soo much Also for some Pokémon please allow them to be caught a little more frequently and/or in other regions. Pokémon fun for everyone with Pokémon GOPokémon GO is a special Pokémon game, in my opinion, because it captures an audience many times larger than the games it’s based off of do, but still entertains loyal and enthusiastic players. My dad, who has never played a Pokémon game in his life and knew nothing of the franchise save what reached him by conversation between my sister and I as we played Platinum on our DSes years ago, picked up the game after I insisted he try it a few months ago. He was hooked, And quickly passed me in progress! The game was easy for him to access and let him learn it’s systems at his own pace, never scaring him. Not only does he enjoy the game, but I know hardcore fans do, too. Participating in Raids (where teams of sometimes dozens of people work together to defeat a strong boss Pokémon) has shown me that I still have plenty of vertical movement to accomplish, and that many people have accomplished that much and more. On top of all of this, Pokémon GO has one of the most generous Free to Play models in a mobile game I’ve seen yet. You can (relatively easily) acquire purchased currency through in-game activity and use it at the cash shop. Almost all games-especially on the mobile platform-simply do not give a second option for acquiring purchased currency and cash shop items. This choice to let the players earn currency through play is subtle in its implementation but stands out as a testament to the developer’s awareness of their fan base and want for a happy community..NinjakiwiwarriorVersion: 1.99.3

Great game, only one problem! Friends…There are so many different things you can do with this game that makes it really fun, but before I get into those, let’s start with the problem. Unless you are a teenager playing this game, or have many friends that live close by as an adult, you are going to have a HUGE problem finishing several quests. They need to provide an alternative route for “new friend” quests. I’m this day and age, as an adult, my friends are either out of state, or don’t play this game, in other words, I can’t make new friends easily, as I live in a small town, and I am somewhat reclusive, aka, I only like to hit pokestops near my home. I can’t complete any of the friend quests, as one requires me to make 3 new friends, and I am thinking to myself, “How am I supposed to do this when people are still dealing with covid restrictions?” I can’t just walk up to a person and say, “Hey, do you play Pokémon go?” Covid is one reason, but social anxiety is the other reason. One of the pros is that I take my dog out on a set route every day and can spin 6 pokestops. It does help with exercise and helps me get outside a little bit more. The events are fun, and there are quite a few other things you can do with this game that keeps you from setting it down for more that a couple of days, like AR gameplay. Being able to interact with my Pokémon in my home has been pretty cool. All in all, the four star rating is only because of the friend quests. Incredible Improvement but still a bit inconsistentFrom the barebones of its initial release, all the patch updates had significantly improved this game from what it was conceptualized. The problems with the initial release was that there was not much else to do, besides catching Pokémon (which were incredibly rare to occur outside of Rattatas) and fighting gyms which were not as abundant as I would like them to be. But with the recent addition of missions, different generational Pokémon, more gyms and the battle system adds a ton of features for the players to focus on and constantly rewards the player for actively participating in them. While the old problems were solved, a new problem emerges in the form of online inconsistency. I will never understand why trading has to occur locally when the friend codes and battling are done online. It’s inconsistent and frankly extremely frustrating as Pokémon go still insist on keeping specific Pokémon regionally exclusive…And I understand that this was done as a way to keep immersion….but that still is not an excuse to keep other features online when the one feature that needed to be online is done locally. It forces the player to consider two things: one, hope to god the new battle cups offer any Pokémon they are searching for and constantly grind for wins, or two, purchase an airplane ticket to travel to obtain a specific Pokémon which isn’t exactly feasible especially in our current circumstances. Great game! Needs a few adjustments though.I love this game so much and I find myself playing it all the time and I always have so much fun so thank you Niantic for creating this game!! Love it!! I do have a few things that I think could improve despite how amazing this game is. I always struggle with having enough pokeballs in the game so I think that a good way to fix this would be that if a player transfers a Pokémon that they get the pokeballs they used to catch that Pokémon back so they wouldn’t run out of pokeballs so easily. Another way that would also help fix this is to put more pokeballs in the free daily box because I usually only get three or four if I get any at all which is not very helpful. Another thing that there should be more of in the daily free box is POTIONS!! I am always running out of potions because of how frequently I am battling and there are tons of good Pokémon that I can’t use because of low health due to not having enough potions! One last thing that could be fixed is to not make the things you can only buy with coins cost so many coins! I cannot get coins in the game because I am not near any gyms and I don’t have the ability or time to walk to them so I cannot get coins in the game which makes it where I cannot buy anything in the game so I think it would be nice if that stuff could not cost coins since it doesn’t give you any real money! Should be called Pokémon SpendThis game gets 3 stars only because pokemon is a fun and well designed franchise. This game ruins it in many aspects. To start off with the positives, it is a free game that encourages walking around, and the excitement of catching a new shiny is wonderful. The most glaring negative is how much is locked behind a paywall. Most research quests and more recently the monthly pass require straight cash, and the most you can get per day is 50 coins ($0.50 usd equivalent). Next, there are raids. You get 1 free raid per day, which you can save up to a max of 2 a day. Coupled with the shiny chance being 1/20 for raids, if you want to have a good chance of getting a shiny, you're going to have to spend money. Remote raids cost twice as much as well. This is especially annoying because raids don't even guarantee that you beat or catch the Pokemon, and it is possible to win 30 raids without a shiny. Next, battles and matchmaking are horrible, and moves and Pokemon are completely unbalanced. The rewards also take tons of time and effort to get if you want anything good. Finally, this game has performance issues and often crashes, sometimes stopping you from getting rewards. The egg system is also horrible. Getting free incubators is a waste of time, and walking 12 kilometers for one singular Pokemon is a total waste of time. Overall, this game is designed as a money grab with pokemon, and it fails to function too often for anything higher than 3 stars. True Pokemon fans beware.Pkmnfan72Version: 0.373.2

I hope this review helpsRecently I downloaded Pokemon go and I’m level 24 now. My friend helped me catch a shiny Charmeleon with 100% IVs which is really rare he said. But I don’t live in a place with a lot of gyms and pokestops so I could only play when my parents drive somewhere. Then came a new update that made it impossible to catch pokemon while driving. Basically if you move away from where you clicked on the pokemon too fast, it has a 100% chance to break out and run away. I wasted 25 ultra balls trying to catch pokemon I drove past on a trip, but I didn’t get a single one. Please change this feature. Also I really want you guys to add long distance trading because I have cousins who live far away and want to give me a gengar. Another reason you should add long distance trade is because it is actually possible to transfer pokemon to the professor so why can’t I just transfer a pokemon to my friends 🤨 a lot of other people want long distance trading too so yall gotta add it soon!!! By the way can you add IV candies that boost your pokemon IVs a tiny bit for each one? It’s ok if they are really rare but I saw someone else suggest this idea and I thought it would be nice if you didn’t have to catch a hundo of a specific pokemon because that is really rare!!! This whole game is a glitch.Moved over from Samsung to iPhone 12 pro max and now I see nothing but problems. I constantly have to keep force closing the app and opening back up throughout the day. Now pvp won’t even work. I enter the battle and when one Pokémon faints the screen freezes. I force close the app to come back on to get told “good effor”. When it comes to raids it gets stuck after the timer goes down and I get the word go. If that doesn’t happen I’ll start the raid and at the half way mark my Pokémon will keep doing it’s attack but the bosses health won’t go down. The clock goes down though and the boss is frozen. Once again I have to force close the app and try to hop back in the raid and sure enough the timer runs out and I lose and all my Pokémon are fainted. What’s going on Niantic? You have no problem charging for every little thing now and not paying attention to the little quality of life details that makes the game run smooth and makes someone wanna keep playing. I put up with chasing legendary Pokémon and their shines and having to do 60+ before I get even one let alone a good iv one. But I can’t keep putting up with how much this game makes me keep force closing and have to restart the app. I have gon as far as going into advance settings in the game and refreshing everything. I’ve deleted the app and reinstalled it and I’ve gone into my own network settings and reset the network. It’s not my phone. It’s you guys. Incredible Game, Recommend Strongly but…This is possibly one of my all time favorite franchises and getting the chance to enter the Pokémon world on my own terms is a fantastic feeling. But I wont lie, there are a few things I would change. First off I put my best Pokémon in a gym and it defended it for 6 days, leaving me defenseless in online battles. After finally getting it back, I’ve earned a grand total of 50 coins, then I send a random shiny Pokémon with god awful stats to a gym, it plays for a day…. AND GETS THE SAME AMOUNT. Here’s the kicker, that how many you can get PER DAY. Meaning if I get like 30 Pokémon back from gyms, I’m only going to get 50 coins. This leaves no incentive to put stronger Pokémon into gyms. Meaning people can easily take them over leaving no challenge. Second, Pokémon evolution requirements. Now I’m not saying I just want to tap a button and wow Charizard, but I don’t exactly want to count every blade of grass on earth twice either. I shouldn’t be going out spending days looking for the candies I need only to get an ok Pokémon. Finally, online battles. If I’m going into an online battle with a raticate I’m expecting fight something of similar strength, what I’m not expecting is a giant fire bird, a green sky dragon and an onion fairy to just wipe me out. The point is, your punished for bringing Pokémon you have. You really can’t tell me to fight god with a bee. But other than these, I have nothing to bad mouth on the game, it’s fun and don’t let this review discourage you from playing the game!!!.PancakematterVersion: 0.319.0

App CRASHES A LOTI’ve been playing Pokémon Go on my phone since July of 2016. The SAME issues are STILL going on! The game unexpectedly CRASHES or FREEZES usually at a most inopportune time!! During a VERY important “catch”, during a Team Rocket battle, an important RAID Battle, or a Gym Battle!! How long does it take to fix these and other issues?? Now the AR with feeding, playing or interacting with your Adventure Buddy is doing the SAME! Freezing, trying to connect...Gets VERY frustrating after awhile and the game is no longer interesting. I’ve lost more Pokémon, berries, raid passes, and balls than I can count because of this. I took a 1 year hiatus from playing only to come back to the same nonsense. On another note I see a few NEW Pokémon this go round, but 40,50 daily of the SAME ones is crazy. Special tasks have been “on hold” because a ridiculous amount of candy is needed to Evolve a Pokémon that no longer shows up! 400 candies? Really? C’mon guys! All the money this game has made for you can SURELY hire some competent and able IT Dudes to fix this!! Faster Servers? More power?? More Servers? What’s your issue? On a positive note I do like the “remote” raid battle feature. Now if only trading with other trainers wasn’t limited to the person needing to be next to you, THAT would be great! Friends in other countries seem to have different Pokémon and for some reason much “cooler”. Eastern USA got cheated. How about spreading them around better? Best game ever but trainer battle lags are killin meI love this game! I’m a huge poke-nerd and it’s one of my favorite mobile apps of all time. My biggest issue with the app is the trainer battles - my phone & service is almost never laggy except when I do trainer battles - there are various issues. Sometimes as soon as the battle starts the game crashes - I used to just be like oh well until I realized that when that happens the other trainer can just defeat you bc you aren’t attacking and then you lose a battle bc of game glitches. In instances like this I think the fairest thing would be to put up some “connection error” graphic and cancel the match. I’ve been on both sides and it’s not fun to just tap the screen until all the other players Pokémon are out but I also don’t want to abandon the match and lose out on rewards. The second thing is sometimes there will be lags in the middle of battles. This is *super frustrating* bc these in battle lags can destroy your whole strategy. I’ve had times where there have been lags on my end and my pokedude loses like 10 seconds of attack and then is just KO. This problem never happens during any type of gym battle. It can be really disheartening as a lil poke nerd to put a ton of effort into a battle strategy and then have it all be for nothing bc of a lag. Especially bc of the limited amount of battles you can do in a day (which I think is a good feature but only frustrating bc of these issues. Good but gets boring after a while⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️Especially if you don’t go out often it can get really boring really fast. I’ve even thought of deleting the game but the amount of progress I’ve made on it makes me not want to. Love the game over all. One thing though…. When I started playing it was simple and fun now they added so much stuff to the game making it confusing and not as fun for players that joined before they added a lot of stuff. I like how you can track how much you walk but it will say your walking even if your really in the car driving around which is a really bad thing I feel like because players can just drive around to hatch eggs faster and get easy rewards. I also don’t like how hard it is to get a good amount of coins. The items in the show are so much That it’s hard to get enough coins to buy anything. This is mainly for people that don’t play a lot and aren’t that focused on the game. It does keep you busy for a couple minutes which I love for when I’m sitting in the car on a road trip with nothing to do. I like how they made it so your character starts stretching if you don’t do anything for a while🙆🧘‍♂️the prices of the items in game also apply to the different clothes you can buy for your character. Although they do have some nice free things in there it would be nice to be able to buy some other things that might go better with what I do have Thats free. Please read this I would love to see some improvements in the game. I would play so much more if it was less confusing lol. However, I have one major complaint. I love playing the battles in the battle league. Matchups seem to be decided by level. Often, I feel I level up at a pace that doesn't match the skill of my pokemon and I just end up in battle after battle that I have no chance of winning. Even if I don't win any of my 5 battles, I still level up within the league. I want to keep having fun playing casually, but it's really difficult to enjoy when I keep getting thrusted into these losing battles. Don't get me wrong, I've been playing for years, but I do prefer to play casually so it gets frustrating when losing battle after battle even with high level pokemon and strategy. Lastly, recent updates have resulted in a lot of different "rewards" but storage space is so limited (for pokemon and items) it really does reinforce the pay to play feel, and the rewards feel less rewarding. Along with this, the research button turns orange to notify you of a reward, but most of the time I can't even find what it's trying to notify me of because there's 30+ special research open missions, daily missions, and event tasks. Anyway, awesome game but these aspects make no sense to me and make it really hard to enjoy the great parts of this game. Love the game but some adviceI love this game. I started awhile ago but recently got back into it. It has given me something to do for past couple weeks during this pandemic. Overall a very good game. As for my advice. Something that I have had an issue with that may actually push me away from the game is the legendary ban. For someone who doesn’t know, you can battle other peoples pokemon in the gyms at certain locations. You used to be able to put your legendaries into the gyms. You no longer can do that because newer players were struggling to take the gyms down. So they banned legendaries in the gyms. The whole point of a legendary is to show off that you have one. Something that niantic introduced was a decay. The cp (combat power) decays overtime making the pokemon weaker so newer players can take down the gyms. When they released this, they didn’t lift the legendary ban. Which doesn’t make much sense to me. Anyways thats one thing I would change about the game. Another thing that they could do to help catch fish pokemon is to add fishing to the game. Fishing was a huge aspect in the nintendo games. It allowed you to catch water type pokemon. Something niantic could do is add a fishing rod to the game and we could use the fishing rod in the AR mode to catch fish pokemon. The reason for this is because I have been struggling to find magikarp. Anyways these were just a few suggestions niantic could do to help better the game. Team Rocket needs to be fixedFirst of all, regular old grunts do not need to be running around with 7K CP on a single Pokémon. This puts anyone who faces them at an unfair disadvantage. Second, the catch rates of Shadow Pokémon needs to be raised. They not only have extremely low catch rates, but you also only receive a handful of alternately colored basic Pokéballs. That is simply not enough. Third, the rewards need to be fixed. Recently I defeated Giovanni and his Regirock, and the items were underwhelming to say the least. Just some healing items that will get consumed instantly and a lucky egg? Really? But disappointing does not even begin to cover Shadow Regirock. I get that you cannot let a player run around with a 10K CP legendary, but why does an NPC get to use one and I get 600 CP with 1-star IV's? As said before, a final boss-teir Pokémon should not be in the hands of a player, but can you at least treat the reward Pokémon's CP like it was in a raid and give it guaranteed 3-star IV's? That is just not enough for defeating Giovanni. Lastly, Super Rocket Radars should be more accessible. You would think that a Rocket Leader would have more mysterious components or better ones than a grunt rather than having none at all. Leaders should drop a mysterious component that can combine to make a Super Rocket Radar, making the Giovanni boss fight more accessible, and therefore better. Pretty Good Game,but…So, I really like this game, but it could use a few improvements. Specifically the raids, I truly do not see why you have to spend money to get a, yes only one raid pass. Far fallen from its heydayWhat once brought the world together, and remained for a long time as a way to get out of the house (for those who were already capable of doing so), Pokemon Go has become a shameless cash grab that has and continues to drive away longtime fans and newcomers alike. No longer is it possible to do everything in game without spending real money: once, spending money was simply a fast pass, but nothing was entirely hidden behind paywalls. Now, entire events, Pokemon, and items are locked away from those not willing to shell out cash for a company frantically grabbing at every penny they can scrape together before they lose the license to a once phenomenal game. That’s not even getting into the decrease in quality of Pokemon within the game. Dozens upon dozens of people will plan, gather, and yes, pay, to raid a powerful Pokemon and be rewarded with a subpar Pokemon of their own. Awesome!👍This game is awesome! I’ve had such a fun time playing this game that my whole family pitched in and played it too! Much needed improvementI have been playing Pokémon Go since 2016 and I’ve been on and off for many reasons. The first one being that majority items that I get from Poke stops are healing and berries, I’m not complaining about the berries but I am mad that I have been getting an abundant amount of heals as of right now I currently have 100 hyper potions and 110 revives and to be quite frank with you I don’t battle as much as everybody else for a few reasons primarily because I am very low level and I don’t have strong Pokémon to be battling in the first place so I don’t need all those heals. I would be at a higher level if I got more poke balls though and I’d be playing a lot more if I did. I really wish niantic would realize this issue by having players be granted 10 pokeballs every time you spin at a stop because if that were the case I’d be playing none stop because I’d have enough pokeballs to throw at every Pokémon that I see. I’d be such an active player if we could get just guaranteed pokeballs at a great quantity and I believe every player would agree with me when I say we need more Pokeballs instead of heals. Other than that gameplay is completely fine and I love the consistency of the spawns and special events, also I’m very happy to see that we’re all the way up to unova I can’t wait to fill up my Pokédex with all these new great additions. About the avatar updatesEDIT June 2024: They fixed the sliders - they actually make a difference now! Most of the clothes seem to have been reverted to their original fit as well. Clipping is still occasionally an issue. Torsos are still a bit on the long side. Faces are still bland. Animations are still awkward. All in all, the avatars are tolerable now, and the ability to wear both the male and female variants of outfits is a good change, but the initial fiasco and the lack of communication from niantic throughout it all still leaves me with a bad taste. Fun game and I’ve enjoyed it since it first came out. But still needs to evolve.I’ve played this game on and off since launch and every time I came back to the game wether it was a 6 month break or a 1 year break, the game evolved. Every time I came back to the game there was something new and exciting to experience. I can confirm this game is always evolving and finding different ways to entertain its players. Even though this game is constantly evolving, it doesn’t always evolve in the most friendly manner. Every time that I came back from long breaks, I found that “tickets,” things you can buy to experience more out of an event, are much more expensive that they used to be. I’ve also found that these tickets offer much more than the “base event,” the free way to play, than they used to. I see this as more of an opportunity gap between pay to win players and free to play players. The second problem is that with this new update that changed avatars, it looks people look more childish and are not put together as well as the past 8 years. They created new avatar features which is great but the quality of the avatars has simply downgraded and is very poorly put together. Those are two ways that the game has evolved, yet didn’t turn out so well for the player community. I still love this game and most of what it has to offer, but as someone who liked to buy things to spruce up my avatar, I find that it was for no reason because my outfits and clothing look a little wonky on my avatar after the new update. ϟϟ(๑⚈ ․̫ ⚈๑) Pokemon Go is a great game, but...I have loved Pokemon ever since I was a young child, likely about three or four years of age, along with MarioKart, The Legend of Zelda, and various Princess Peach - related games. It makes me so happy to see the many people who also enjoy the games, and seeing them on my new I-phone had me jumping up and down in my apartment. (Which probably annoyed the downstairs neighbor, but this was important to me at the time, and still is.) Anyway, it is an enjoyable game with Pokemon battles with AI and friends, catching Pokemon that are updated as more are thrown out into the wild in the Nintendo games, and raids to get extra-special items and rare Pokemon. However, I do have a complaint. I am not able to get out much, now that I am in middle school and the workload is pushing down on me, especially since I am in advanced classes. I love to participate in raids, and I love gathering Pokemon, but I cannot reach raids and the same Pokemon keep appearing outside: Ralts, Woolo's, etc. I would like to be able to access places of my level and be able to catch more unique Pokemon instead of the continuous Eevee and the like. Speaking of Eevee, I have been evolving them left and right in the hopes of getting an Espeon, but to no avail. I continue to get Flareon and Vaporeon, with the occasional Jolteon. My father is a successful player, with most of the Pokemon, and I want to follow in his footsteps. HOWEVER, I can't do that without and Espeon, Umbreon, Sylvion, and Glaceon. Game not upgrading pokesThey still after all these years are only putting out a select a few Pokémon’s. I think the concept of this game is great, but I think there should be a way that you could actually trade more cookies with more people like cards because what happens is there are at least 50 to 60 pokies that they never put out and yet they will have the same pidgeys and Hoppitys and archanines … but there are ones basic ones too nothing even fancy for you’re supposed to get like 100 candies and you’ve only seen this thing one time from hatching an egg and this was from like two years ago. Lovely game however its pay for progressI’ve been playing Pokémon go seriously for a while now and I truly can say it’s the most interactive and immersive mobile game I’ve ever played in my entire life; unfortunately, I have seen a couple flaws that make me feel somewhat offended. The currency system in this game is not only hypocritical but also economically biased. Pokecoins are a fundamental part of the game and process of obtaining items in a more conventional and convenient manner; however, the daily limitations on gaining pokecoins punishes players who can’t afford to spend actual money on the game to participate in the sales that include items in whole sale. For an example the gift boxes include a multitude of items that are useful to trainers from all levels but they are 1000+ pokecoins with a 50 pokecoin a day limitation. This also punishes the trainers that grind for stardust to raise Pokémon cp levels for competition by basically stopping their income of pokecoins to progress through the levels. It leads to slow egg progression, it leads to not being able to participate in as many raids, and also a feeling a being left out because the hypocrisy of having a limitation on the pokecoins you can EARN verses being able to buy as many pokecoins as you want as many times as you please on top of having to pay for events is not fair bottom line. Fun game but tbh it’s kinda p2wSo to start off I love the game it is fantastic and very fun to play but recently Niantic has made the game into a Pay to win game which is kind of a bummer 😔especially since I noticed that a lot of events have research tickets that range from 1 dollar to 15 bucks! and the 15 dollar tickets are not worth it in my opinion. Another thing I noticed in the shop was that the 3 pack premium and remote battle pass bundles are now the same exact price as 3 single raid passes which deceives the purpose of having a 3 pass bundle. Reduce the prices of items in the shop ever since remote passes required 195 poke coins it is a lot harder to raid than usual which causes players to quit, give up and possibly offload the game 2. I think niantic shold make it that when you put multiple Pokémon in a gym you get 50 coins PER POKÉMON not per day because I put a total of 9 Pokémon I a gym one day and only got 100 poke coins for it and I know this has happened to other people before 3. Finally my last suggestion is that when we lose a raid not only do we not get the Pokémon, mega energy, etc we lose a raid pass which for some people raid passes are hard to get so I think if you lose a raid we should get our raid pass back or some sort of compensation for losing. Team rocket… along with some changesTeam rocket is pretty bad in this game, we all know it but I just wanted to ask you, what if you made rocket bases. They are gyms taken over by rockets like a shadow raid and their will be like 5 grunts in a tier one. Maybe 10 to 15 in a tier 2 and 20 in a tier three. Then in a tier 4 their will be 25 rockets and a rocket leader. Then in tier 5 their will be 15 and all 3 leaders and a Giovani. They should be their own little structures on or near poke stops and gyms. This should be like tier 1 and 2 on poke-stops. Then tier 3 can be in both poke-stop and gym. Tier 4 and 5 are gyms only which you can all do as a group but the tiers 1-3 can have a max of 5 people to fight (you included) and then 4 and 5 should be a unlimited amount of people but people have to use those gems for shadow raids to fight Giovani's Pokémon due to the fact they each leader will have a good PvP Pokémon or a legendary OR a shiny. Then Giovani will use the best Pokémon of each rocket boss. And the people will also have to choose what Pokémon they want it could be ANY of the Pokémon used but the cp for good Pokémon that you choose will loose a extra few cp points or whatever but it will be better candies and you can also choose to just get raid drops or 20 pokecoins instead of a Pokémon. Give it a breakI love this game. I have been playing for 3 months now and I have only had one problem recently where I killed a raid sneasel and it got back most if its health but the clock kept running. This is probably just me not understanding it right though. People say that it isn’t encouraging social distancing during this corona virus pandemic but hear me out. At its core, Pokémon Go is a walking based game. It is literally listed with other pedometer apps in the apple health app. Niantic is taking measures to help though. For players stuck at home they have so far released 3 different one-pokecoin bundles. One with 30 incense, used to attract pokemon to you, 100 pokeballs, and 50 greatballs. And they alsodoubled the distance to interact with gyms and raid battles. Others complain about how in online matches they never win because the other person always has better Pokémon or weak connection issues that cause problems. I know how you feel and it IS very frustrating when that happens but you need to do two things. One: persevere. Power through the difficulties and you will succeed. Two: harsh as it sounds, get good. Study Your type advantages and disadvantages. Use weather and Event bonuses to your advantage and, again, you’ll win. In addition, depending on how you play, the game is not a money grab. I’m at level 26 with 4 shinies and plenty of success in a small town of less than 1000 people and I haven’t put a single penny into the game. Fun game, needs to be polishedLove the game. With the newer updates there’s a lot more to do in a more organized way. Most of the objectives of the game work flawlessly. The inner economy of items and Pokémon’s creates a wonderful system that makes you want to come back and play more. But, there are a lot of issues to still work out. One of which is the coins and gyms system. Right now, you can only get 50 coins per day. And a pokemon earns a single coin per 10 minutes in a gym. You would reach the max limit for coins in about 8 hours. This creates an issue, in which, if you have 4 pokemon in different gyms that have been in there for all over a day. Well over the limit. Meaning you could make 200 coins total, if they get defeated on different days. However, if they are all defeated on a single day then you only receive 50 coins for all 4, missing out on the 150. Currently, there is no work around this issue. You can’t recall your pokemon early, and if one gets stuck in a gym you are sitting there praying for it to be beaten. Another issue is with the combat leagues. When I first started the game with my most powerful pokemon at about 1000cp to try out the feature, the opponents were vastly unbalanced. I had to fight a 3000cp mewtwo on my 4th or so fight. It just seems that some of the features weren’t given enough time as opposed to other features of the game, and that lackluster approach clearly shows..Mzhur77Version: 1.137.3

This game is really fun, but just two suggestions.I’ve always loved this game since the beginning, but once you get to mid-game, it get’s harder. One, you start running out of inventory space and Pokémon storage, and two it’s harder to get out of mid-game because catching legendaries is so hard because we are a “low level” and the legendary won’t get in the ball. I’m almost level 30 and still can’t catch a legendaries in raids!! I’m giving them golden razz berries, I’m throwing excellents, and still it’s not staying in the ball!! So what my two suggestions are is that to improve inventory space instead of having to spend money or leave 4 Pokémon at gyms and to make catching legendaries easier so people in mid 20’s and 30’s can get out. Real goodHonestly ive been a long time pokemon fan since a kid, but not having a switch or DS makes it hard to play any games so having a pokemon game on my phone is essential. Ive been playing for several years and i think its real great now. Watching all the new content and gens and events get added has been very cool and its totally different from when it came out in 2016. Id only say i wish there were a few more features in the game. Especially with how you interact with your buddy. They recently updated the game so AR is no longer required (thank god) but i wish there was some implementation of playing with your buddy like you could in the DS game. Or even decorating a room or buying toys and stuff with poke coins (which could be good money for yall) but just being able to feed, pet, and spin your pokemon is a little lackluster. I also kinda wish online play was a little easier/more rewarding. I get the whole point of pokemon go is to go outside and walk, but the times when youre done walking and at home theres not much to do other than organize and pvp. Which pvp is a whole nother thing that i wont get into (but im not the biggest fan). but incense kinda fixed at home play, but both incense (daily and normal) work better while youre out walking, which kinda eliminates the point of having pokemon come to you (but ig thats what lures are for) i also wish soloing raids was more feesable Long story shape, game has been updated heavy and is real fun now, but i still think this game can grow into something waay bigger. Great Game, Not-So-Great CompanyI'm writing this as Niantic prepares to revert an extremely positive Quality of Life change. For prospective players, this game is overall a very good way to get outdoors, and fits most playstyles (casual players and stats nerds alike live in harmony). The game itself centers around catching Pokémon, the beloved little creatures from a Japanese card game. The player can battle against Team Rocket, collect Pokémon from all over the world, or just sit back and curate an ever-growing collection of digital pets. Unfortunately, the principal company that runs the game, Niantic, is significantly worse at responding to its playerbase than, say, Mojang. Especially among more serious players like myself, the general Quality of Life is subpar. Many aspects of the game, like Raids (multiplayer boss battles), the spawning algorithm (low spawn distance, GPS drift causing problems), and general server errors make this game a bit tough to give a perfect 5-star rating. Niantic, however, generally ignores the plight of players, placing restrictions here and thereabouts, and failing to fix numerous bugs. Most recently, the Pokémon spawn radius was increased, apparently to combat the GPS drift I mentioned earlier. This change was widely praised by the community, and there were rumors that it would be permanant. Of course, Niantic, emerging from its deep sleep, immediately said that they would patch the bug. Few problems (in my opinion)Game is decent in of itself, I mean you go and catch Pokemon. Entirely ignoring the buggy pvp content however, there's quite a few problems, in my opinion at least, most of which arise when you're not in an area with a lot of players. For example the cost of remote raid passes is obscene, but any raid worth doing is going to be extremely difficult if not flat out impossible to finish by yourself, and when there's seemingly three people (including yourself) who play in a 30 mile radius around you, that's quite problematic. Another is the limit of PokeCoins you can obtain from leaving your pokemon at a gym. This is capped at 50. Not 50 a day, but 50 per pokemon at any gyms. Even if you live in close proximity to one or two gyms there's still the problem of the pokemon staying in the gym perpetually for days, weeks, or even months because you're not in a densely populated area (for reference I've been in a gym for three and a half weeks before, and I live in a fairly suburban area. Gym is right by an apartment complex even, it's accessible from inside the complex, and my home across the street). And on the offchance you do get knocked out of the gym you only get 50 coins for something that took weeks to happen. And then there's the whole thing about accessibility being very sub par There are some good points, such as pokemon home compatibility, but those are far and few between. Used to be great…So there are a lot of these going around now, but I figure I’ll add to it just in case it can help change anything since it seems like the only thing Niantic hears is press or money. I played the beta. I played day 1. I left and came back a few times. I played during the pandemic. I have seen this game evolve over time. Some changes were good, some were bad. The game went from being able to play for fun, to having a pressure to spend money to play, to being required to spend money to play to get things in the game (like shiny mew??). All of this progressed over time until we get here, a point where the game is unplayable unless you pay money or actively avoid 90% of the features that were added and not removed. This game has gone from one that I would happily put money into due to the enjoyment, connectivity, and socialization I got out of it, but now? Now I don’t plan on playing it until a lot of these issues get fixed. It costs then nothing to keep Covid protections in game. Captivating anti-consumer gameI'll start with the positives, it's a very immersive game that is rewarding (sometimes) to invest your time in. That being said, it is wildly impractical for the average person. As many others have said, unless you have consistent and close people to play the game with, you're out of luck. Unless you have lots of time on your hands and no other obligations, you're out of luck. I can understand the need for everything not to be so easy that it isn't rewarding, that is a huge problem that videogames have now. There still doesn't need to be price hikes on remote raids, or increased pokemon aggression (and WOW what a bad decision on Niantic's part), or ticket paywalls to get desirable pokemon/items, or any of the other anti-player changes to the game. It becomes less about skill and investment and more about how much free time you have and how much money to spend. I'd rather pay a one-time price to play the game than deal with the nonsensical things that you run into playing this game. It could definitely use more polishing as well, even now with the game having been out for so, so long it still runs terribly. Lots of Bugs and very slow progressionI really love pokemon, and honestly the game is fun at times. But there are a lot of issues. 1. In pvp, there is a bug in the game where if you get hit by a charge move and you have one ready to go, it will sometimes just throw that move out without you tapping anything. It is very annoying and has lost me many games as I would try to farm a pokemon down and it’ll just toss my move out and waste all the energy I have accumulated. It does not happen everytime, but it happens more often than it should 2. The game is VERY hard to grind. Especially if you live in a less populated area such as myself, I find that a lot of the time I am running out of potions and/or pokeballs. The nearest urban area for me is more than an hour away and there is only a couple pokestops along with one gym near my area. 3. The system to get pokecoins is very tedious. You can only get 50 a day and to upgrade storage or item space it takes 4 days worth of coins for each, and thats only if you manage to max out for the day. The item space is not a problem for me as I actually need MORE items, but the pokestorage is a huge problem as I am consistently having to dump what little coins I have into the storage. Because of this, I have no coins left to buy remote raid passes, meaning I can’t even get legendary pokemon unless the raid appears at my local gym, and then I have to hope there is enough people to beat it..Rice BoîVersion: 0.315.2

Please fix thisI’ve had this app since 2023. In my 2 (almost 3) years of owning this app, I’ve not had a single day of good luck. I did delete it for a while and redownloaded about a month ago and the same pattern continues. Additionally, I’ve had the same quest to catch 10 Pokémon using daily adventure incense for longest time and I use my incense every single day. I’ve caught 1. I’ve caught every single Pokémon who shows up while I’m using incense and in half an hour out of every single day, I’ve caught one Pokémon using those incense. I hate how Pokémon can’t be traded again even after a month and I hate how anything over ≈ 800 CP takes 1M stardust to trade. I hate that pokeballs don’t regenerate within a certain amount of time (ie. If you’re out of pokeballs you get a new one in like 7 minutes). And lastly, I hate that there is nothing to do without Wi-Fi. I have no service on my phone and can’t afford a cell plan or a new phone. Because of this, I can’t spin poke stops (despite my 10+ quests to do so) or participate in raids or gyms (again, despite 10+ quests). Pokémon Go is for the walking man. As such, not every person has unlimited data. If Pokémon go could accept this and incorporate something without Wi-Fi, I’d be playing significantly more. Carried by the Pokémon IPThe game works in spite of Niantic’s leadership, not because of it. If you play in an urban area or a college it isn’t bad but suburban and rural players suffer from much lower spawn rates and a lack of pokestops to refresh their items and get tasks. Sure you can drive out to places but you shouldn’t have to get in a car to enjoy a game. The issue though is Niantic thinks this is 2016 where the game was a giant event. People quickly got sick of how much of a chore the game was and left. Raids would be cool if Niantic wasn’t so hostile towards the remote ones. Remote raids were implemented during covid and they probably saved the game. You had to group up with randos or friends to take down the bosses and trying to arrange a meet up for an in-person raid is a giant pain in the behind. Doing it every other week for the in-person exclusive elite raids was reasonable (though much less than ideal) but Niantic has made it clear they’d rather they never put remote passes in the game. To do remote raids for free, you’d need to have a Pokémon that was in a gym for 8 hours get kicked out so you can generate coins once a day. Since they doubled the price, you’d need to repeat that 4 times instead of twice. And if you run out of your allotted number of balls before catching the boss, despite stacking as many bonuses as you can, it runs and you just wasted your coins. Account IssuesFirst off, I’m a huge Pokémon fan! Have been all my life. I got super far in my original account but then it wasn’t letting me buy stuff in the shop with my coins I had. So I figured I’d log out and go back in. Now it’s saying my password isn’t correct which I know it is. But then I requested an email to change it. They said it was sent but I never got it. I tried retrying and it said the link is active for 48 hours. Does that mean I’ll get the email within 48 hours or I have 48 hours? I tried using a made up email just to see what would happen and they said there’s no account on there with that email. Just wanted to be sure the email wasn’t a problem. So why is it not allowing me to change my password by sending me an email?? Also I made a second one just for the meantime but on this one it won’t allow me progress with egg hatching and/or buddy Pokémon getting candies. I turned all settings on for allowing my location and all that. My battery saving mode isn’t on either. Aside from that, I can’t add friends. It said that it won’t load and to try again later. Games keeps getting worseNot worth wasting money on anymore unless you already know other players. In addition to making stuff like Community Days worse and more expensive, every update now seems to be focused on making the game unplayable for solo players. It was always a great way that my friends and I would hang out, we’d raid, do community days, etc. For years, in high school and even through college! VERY big problems recentlyAlright so when the regidraco elite raids happened, most people who were actually able to participate in them had a terrible experience due to the servers being all messed up or something. They’re jacking up the prices of remote raid passes and increasing rewards for in person raids so that people will get out more ONLY so that they can get more money from the location data they get from you. Now they’re making the regilikie elite raids happen happen on Easter Sunday of all days. Money hungry devs, terrible events, and just overall is being completely destroyed by niantic. 8/10 when I actually enjoyed it, 3.5/10 right now..BOING!!!!!!!!!!!!:pVersion: 0.265.0

Horrible developersThis game will keep bugs in the game (such as being unable to see team go rocket stops at a distance) and WHILE not fixing active bugs they will go ahead and instead nerf other aspects of the game that the entire community loved. Money-Hungry Scam 👎In 2016 the game was super fun, I loved playing with my older brother (finally had something to bond with!!) & it actually helped me get more time outside walking because my closest Pokestop was 2 kilometres or so away. The remote raid passes during COVID-19 were a brilliant idea, and I was so happy to play again! Then I was hospitalized for two months, and playing was hell. Even with an incense, a Pokestop incense and playing on a community day, very little Pokémon spawned. I couldn’t get my steps because I was confined to a bed. Speaking of Community Days, if you work outside of weekday 9-5 job, it sucks to be you! We went from a whole day to 3 HOURS?! Now you’ve increased raid passes for no reason other than for more money, and we all know they won’t go back to the original price. You’re already getting millions for our data, that not enough? Imagine being disabled or bed-ridden or even living in a rural area, unable to play a game now because your nearest Pokestop is in the next town over and spawn rates are crap. Great game ruined by lousy companyI’ve played Pokémon Go for nearly 7 years now, and I have uninstalled due to the changes to remote raids. It was the last straw. In 2020, Niantic introduced features that helped to level the playing field between urban and rural players. Now, they have undone or nerfed nearly all of them. First, they nerfed the incense to worse than it was before the pandemic, now they’ve doubled the price or remote raid passes. All while the community is very loudly asking them to stop!
