Such a Great Game!Free to play games are not usually my forte. That being said, Tape It Up is absolutely different. The monetization is done quite well. Immediately the gameplay is addicting and that's all I want. What I don't want is timers that say sorry can't play right now. And Tape It Up is not that type of game. This game is in a class of its own! The developers have done a wonderful job making each item (tape, red tape, old school cassette tape etc) have its own atmosphere. Some even have unique themes that will keep you playing and wanting to unlock more items to play with. I love it! I spend a lot of money in the App Store each week but only a handful of games stay on my devices. This game has not only stayed on here but it's kept my attention for weeks on end. That's a tough thing to accomplish in this industry. Just do yourself a favor and download the game already. You won't be disappointed..@reznVersion: 1.05

One IssueI love the game but it won’t show up in storage, the resolution is good aspect ratio but does not fill the whole screen on iPhone 12 but I’m glad I can see the whole thing and maybe because it is pixel art it can’t really be made bigger even with a like emu type filter and then do the GUI? Also I was making purchases just fine last week but let me tell you now that the game requires me to go to the in-game settings and hit ‘Restore Purchases’ maybe an icon and maybe text toooo………… anyways the big thing is it says failed and does not automatically then by the mechanics then put like the character into my account in the game I have to hit restore purchases after every purchase…. So maybe this is more than one problem and maybe it is just me but like best game ever easily but I also enjoy Mario Run and Mario Kart Tour (not Rally!) amazing that it works so well even on 15.3 on my iPhone 12 and it hasn’t received an update in 3 years! Maybe that’s why it doesn’t show up on the storage screen in settings which always takes forever to load. Tape It Up!This game is one of my new favorite arcade games. The pixel art graphics, playful soundtrack and easy controls really make the game flow nicely. I have noticed others seem to be confused about the unlockables. You can unlock characters by winning them with 1k coins, you do NOT have to buy them to unlock them. 1k coins is easily obtainable in less than 5 minutes by watching ads, or if you like to work for them, like me, go at your own pace. It is just a game after all! I have a few recommendations: It would be nice if the order in which the boxes came was randomized. After about 15 minutes, the levels start to get really repetitive imo. (i.e. it's easy to memorize that the black "glitch" box comes at level 12 every single time in the same exact place). Also some new characters would be perfect! It's gr8 m8 I r8 8/8. Edit (after update 1.05): Wow I couldn't ask for more! The new characters are great and I love how the levels are different. Now it's not easy to predict the pattern of the boxes. Fun, pleasant, good time passerI really like this game. It's unique in its approach and the old fashion arcade style is pleasant and easy on the eyes. It's easy yet still challenging and the variety of different characters you can buy once you reach 1000 coins makes the time spent playing worth it. If your bored or want something soft and easy to navigate this is a good game for you. My only complaint is that though their are a variety of "tape" characters to buy I have found that I end up paying for the same character more then once. Such as the pink octopus (which is my favorite so far); I have already bought it three times in a row and when you spend all this time saving just to get the same thing it gets annoying. Thus why I have this game only 4 stars. Still needs to work out some bugs but it's cute and I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys these types of games..VelaRKHVersion: 1.05

Best game everI love this game so much! The characters are all so unique, I love how every stage looks different depending on the character. Especially the Instagrab one, I think that's so cool how it's like a Polaroid camera, having to shake the screen for the "picture" to become clearer, it's genius. The style is absolutely adorable and I think the gameplay is so unique and still challenging at a fair pace for everyone. And if it's not for some players, the hard mode box is always fun. A little too good?Sorry for the confusing title but all I want to say is that this is a well done game with really nice looking visuals, no ads popping up in your face every turn, and I do love me a pixelated game. What im trying to say is that this is a really good time killer in general but the thing is that the is a little too good looking. I don’t know if its me being old but theres too many moving objects making my head hurt and getting dizzy after playing for a couple of minutes. Bug ReportReally cute and fun game! There are a couple issues, but they’re very minor and generally don’t keep me from enjoying the game. =) 1. Very, very occasionally, the game crashes, especially when jumping into Hard Mode or Random boxes. It doesn’t save where I was, either, so if I had a really good score I would lose all of that and have to start over. 2. Sometimes after viewing an ad, the music stops playing. It’s a fantastic time passerI got this game since I was getting annoyed from other games because of the adds and that I needed a game to play for when I’m on a plane going somewhere, so I got this game. Tape games are the bestI have played all the games on the iPhone that involve taping stuff up, and this game is undoubtedly the best tape based game available. I get to tape up boxes with all kinds of crazy stuff like ketchup, bamboo, cheese, ink, scrolls, and (most surprisingly) tape! I have gotten so addicted to this game that when my phone battery dies, I have started taping stuff up in real life for hours and hours on end. Amazing game and so addictingThis game is truly an awesome game. It’s super fun and you can get addicted to it real fast. The characters are so awesome. It’s always fun buying a prize and seeing which one you’ll get. The game is generous with the coin collecting, and you can usually get quite a few new characters each day. I also really love the music. The music is so cheerful and up lifting. If you are ever having a bad day, I guarantee tapping on this app will put a smile on your face. It’s just that good. The 8BIT Art Style is also what makes it great (still can’t beat every shade of blue nor the Steampunk Art Style). Surprisingly doesn’t get boringI’ve been playing the game for a year or two, and I haven’t gotten bored of it yet. Best Game I’ve ever playedThis game honestly surprised me for a mobile game. Especially a free 2 play. Excellent work!I really enjoy the game! It’s a great game for airplane mode. However, there is one thing that bothers me: Every single time I enter into hard mode, the screen moves down almost completely out of view. This leaves the screen mostly black. Pretty fun!I grabbed this game and figured it’d be a good timewaster game. It’s super addicting! Lost all my charactersI’ve played this game a decent amount over the years. I have never spent any money, but I have unlocked a lot of characters. Suddenly today I found after unlocking another character that I am down to four. The other 20 or so ones I had unlocked were all now locked again. I’m on my same account like I usually am. It even saved my highest score. I don’t see the point of playing this anymore if there’s a random chance you can lose all of your characters, especially for someone else who might have actually put money into this. MehOverall it’s a good game. I really enjoy playing it and it’s great to just waste some time or play after a long day, i do however have one huge issue with this game. The format does not fit my phone!! I have an iPhone 14 and there are black bars on the top and bottom of my screen when I play, I used to have this game on my iPhone 8 and it did not look like that.
