Five Jumps for Magikarp Jump!Magikarp jump is like, the most incredible mobile Pokémon game I have ever played. I used to think it was a little dumb with no purpose but now I’m a big fan of this game. I’ve loved Pokémon since I played Pokémon Y, my first ever Pokémon game. I fell in love with the adorable Pocket Monsters and I will always love them. Magikarp Jump is a bit different from other Pokémon games, and sometimes seems a bit repetitive, but I love watching my Magikarp grow. It even makes me a little emotional when it dies, because it feels like losing a pet. Just a few minutes ago, my beautiful Standard Pattern Magikarp, Karpette, died at the talons of a hungry Pidgeotto. But then, when reeling in a new Magikarp, it took a bit longer than usual and I got exactly what I hoped for- a beautiful golden Magikarp. (I will never do anything that can possibly kill you, Goldikarp) But anyways, this game is super fun it would be better if you could play with your Magikarp in mini-games. But I do really love this game and all the amazing patterns Magikarp. It would be really cool if you could incorporate different patterns of Magikarp into actual games, such as Sword and Shield. That would be really cool! And maybe they could evolve into different patterns of Gyarados. That would be amazing!! Amazing as my booksThis game is really fun it makes you want to work toward something kind of like saving money you’re working toward getting something. When I played with my phone I had this app but I had to delete it because there was too many apps, I did not want to but I had to I was unhappy because I had to delete the app. Reason I like this app is because there’s also a surprise on which one you’ll get (which Magikarp you’ll get). Another reason I like this game is because there is a variety of Pokémon you can get the main one is Magikarp some of the other ones are Pikachu,Osowat, Charizard, and more. There is also a variety of decorations like plushy’s, signs, and a trophy. You can look at your past magikcarps watching their young ones. Best Pokémon Game EVER!!!!I LOVE THIS GAME!!!! ❤️❤️❤️ It’s just the best. I love feeding my Magikarp and watching it jump! I felt a little sad when my first Magikarp retired but I could still see it and that’s what madders. I can sit for HOURS on the couch playing this game and I really enjoy it. PerfectThis game. This game, in every aspect, is perfect. I didn’t think it was real, I thought nothing was perfect. Things could be good, like Puss In Boots The Last Wish, but nothing was perfect. Until this game. This game is everything good about modern and classic gaming. It’s easy, but not hold your hand easy, the fun easy. Is also completely free. Sure, there’s in game purchases, but you don’t ever have to buy them. That’s why I said COMPLETELY free. The graphics are simply amazing. They’re not over stimulating in any way. The gameplay is simple, yet fun. The perfect balance of both worlds. And the cherry on top, you can decorate your pond. While it would be nice to have Treecko as a friend Pokémon, the selection is still good, like Charizard and Rowlet. I’m still having a hard time grasping the fact that this is real. But it is. Great game full of charmFirst off, yes, this IS a REAL POKEMON GAME made by the Pokemon company about the biggest Pokemon meme of all time (other than jelly donuts, sorry Brock.) The game is absolutely ridiculous and it rolls with it, the story is you are a trainer arriving in the town of Hoppy Town (yes that’s the name) where the mayor, mayor karp instructs you that times have changed and the towns Magikarp are starting to get lazy and sad. To help, he asks you to raise a Magikarp and defeat the league to bring the town to its former glory. The graphics are beautiful and charming, you can easily tell this is a Pokemon game from the graphics alone. Gameplay consists of feeding Magikarp food, and taking him to train. Each time you train you lose one out of three training points. Training and eating strengthens your Magikarp. You can then enter it in contests and compete to see who can jump the highest. The bad part of this is that its boring, it’s entirely automatic but it’s pretty satisfying to see your Magikarp grow. Overall, 4.5/5 fun and charming but pretty repetitive. I didn’t even mention all the other features like the solid humor or the various secrets, but what I can confirm is that you’ll have a great time with Magikarp Jump..VeryAddictedGamerVersion: 1.3.4

OK at first but..........if your not planning on spending any money on micro transactions, after a while the level grind becomes VERY tedious. Currently I’m at Trainer Level 16, and my max Magikarp level is 26. You can usually win one more battle in the league per level up. Which basically means that you pick it up, eat all of your food, collect all of your coins, do your training and the random encounters, then do your battle and random encounters. Generally you will level up once during this play session, twice if you’re lucky. You’ll progress one battle farther, maybe two. So it basically takes you WAY longer to beat leagues than it should. Also, the random encounters where you can lose your Magikarp are pointless. I played it the safe route every time. Also, evolving your Magikarp to the totally awesome Gyarados should be a GOOD thing, not a bad thing. I’m not saying you should get to play the game with your evolved Magikarp, but taking it for no reason/reward and making you start over feels harsh. While there is some fun to be had here, the potential is so much more that it feels like an unfinished game. AWESOME🤩 BUT EMOTIONAL😢 BUT MORE AWESOME🤩.This game is really fun, the Magikarp are SO CUTE. Whoever made this game was a genius and had an AWESOME idea. All of my sisters have played this game and loved it, and I love it, too. The first Pokémon game I ever played was Pokémon Let’s Go Evee, and I thought the Magikarp was completely USELESS until it evolves. But then I got THIS game, and I found how good a Magikarp is when it comes to JUMPING. So I liked the game immediately. Mayor Karp is really helpful. Who said Magikarp is weak?Ah, Magikarp. The weakest Pokémon out there. At least that’s what we thought until this game. This game as the title implies, is about jumping Magikarp. These Magikarp compete in... competitions to gain ranks in the game. And also to make people sad. But you get happy when people get sad, so who cares? Anyways, you train up your Magikarp to make it jump better and win against your opponents. Decorate your pond to make your Magikarp level up faster and to look snazzy. Now I gotta talk about my new worst enemy, random encounters (Rip in pepperonis, Karol. You will forever be remembered). They can be good or bad, but it’s nice when it’s good, as it is money, training points or a ton of food (there might be more that I haven’t discovered yet). The best game nobody wantedEver wanted an official Pokemon spinoff about training and competing with what's probably the most laughably pathetic and useless, yet virtually indestructible, Pokemon the world has ever seen? Probably not, because that's a strange thing for anyone to want (not that I haven't had stranger wishes). But here it is, and it's surprisingly amazing. I don't really have any complaints about the game. You only get three Training points, but you rack up experience quickly and the game is very generous with random freebies. Just be careful when training your champion, as with virtually every risk you take in the field, there is a chance for a hungry Pidgeotto, angry Voltorb, or other unforeseen threat to end your fishy friend's career--and life--prematurely. Yes, your Magikarp can die. Personally, though, I think it adds to the game, as it gets me to stop and think every time the game gives me a set of choices. Cute and fun!I really enjoy this game. Most games I play for a few days and then forget about, but I’ve been playing this game for a while and am having a lot of fun! I’m doing really well and have not needed or felt the need to make any purchases. There are so many different Magikarp you can collect, different things the Magikarp are good at to help you in (jumping) battles, and little side events that are funny and clever. I give 4 stars out of 5, because, spoilers(?), I was not expecting my Magikarp to get eaten by a Pidgeotto!!! I cried for a minute. I was so distraught from this aspect but have since gotten over the sad passing of my beloved Faffo. Lol. Would love for the app to make it a little more clear that you have a risk of losing your Magikarp. I truly thought he’d just miss the berry and lose some JP because he was sad about it. Amazing gameI love this game! I used to play it and loved it when it first came out, but I deleted it cause it just wasn't getting as exciting after about a week of playing. It is very fun if you are going on a trip and have no wifi or are in the car. I just downloaded it and it is very fun and I like the feature where can name your magikarp either it wasn't their when I played it or i didn't see it but I do like it. But I would like to see a feature where your old Karp turned into a garydos and was a supporter or an old Karp maybe could be like a mentor for the new generation. And also some character customization cause it would just make the game more fun and interesting. Maybe even adding other regions with brand new Karla cause after a while people are going to beat the game then their will be no use in playing anymore. A Silly Yet Lovable GameFish Magikarp. Teach it to flop. Feed it. Battle it. And watch it splash into the sunset. It seems like the most stupid concept ever, but Game Freak pulled it off. Somehow, they made a fun mobile clicker that appeals to mobile gamers and Pokefans alike. I first read about this game in a “Go Gaming” thing from the Scholastic Book Fair, and was surprised that it existed. My curiosity got the best of me, and I downloaded it. My first Magikarp was able to beat the entire 1st league, and the cutscene of retirement was bittersweet and adorable. I try not to sacrifice my fishies to Pigeotto or break their Everstone, but accidents happen of course. The random encounters are hilarious, and the amount of ways your Magikarp can train is just awesome. This is the perfect Pokémon game for fans looking for something casual and funny. A relaxing and engaging gameI love playing this when I walk my dog, he wants to stop to smell something every couple of feet so I get very bored waiting! One of my favorite things about this game is that it doesn’t require me to look at it every second, which is great as most games these days are either borderline or outright stressful to play. I also very much enjoy the inclusion of music and sounds from the very first Pokémon games as it brought back some nice nostalgia for me! The Pokémon company has definitely mastered the art of creating and preserving a fan base- I’m about to be 31 and yet I’m still able to enjoy this relatively simple game that’s basically for young children. Who wouldn’t love Magikarp Jump!When I first started off in the game I was a little confused on what to do, but the game was really self explanatory, first get a magikarp, feed it train it whatever, then finally battle other magikarp by jumping! Honestly I am very happy that magikarp got a game all to himself and me being a HUGE magikarp fan I totally LOVE the game! I’m at level 27 right now and it’s getting kinda hard because training is really the only thing that’s getting me to a higher level and making my magikarp stronger. The one thing I don’t like is how you can only train your magikarp 3 times until you have to wait 30 minutes for one training session to reload or you have to pay 25 diamonds to get a training drink, but overall that is my only complaint. Awesome game!It is very fun and addicting! Although people are complaining about “Pidgeys,” which are actually Pigeons, swooping up their Magicarp, I think that, though the risk might lead to reward, they would’ve been smart enough to think of the risk, the Pokémon is just another way to look at the real world, where it is a dog-eat-dog world. Another complaint I have been seeing is about the creepy “The Rings” girl who says, “Intruders... intruders...’ is actually a reference to the creepy ‘ghost’ woman with no walking animation in the Pokémon X and Y game. So, I like to think of it as them trying to relate to the games, which I think they did an amazing job at. Awesome gameEven though magikarp is one of the worst Pokémon ever, this game is so good. Even in a couple of weeks it has made me like magikarp more. There is this though, I had to be forced to put my generation 1 magikarp back into the pond. When that happens your magikarp has to be fully trained and after that mayor Karp will come and say that you can not train it anymore and you will just compete in the league you’re in and keep going until you fail. After you you have failed a league then you put your magikarp back in the pond and you get a new magikarp. But everything else is great. A masterpiece of gaming, art, and sadism.This game is better than Leonardo Divinchi’s Mona Lisa. It tops game like team fortress 2 and counter strike global trade offensive but still isn’t as good as E.T. on the Atari. I wanted to know the full power of this game so I used it as the centerpiece of my pentagram and opened a portal to Magikarp hell. There we all joined in song and chanted, “Magikarp used splash, it wasn’t very effective,” for hours on end until they realized I wasn’t one of them and needed to be killed. I ran for my life knowing satan was on their side. One Magikarp stabbed me in my side with a poison coated knife. I screamed in agony as I jumped out of the portal. Funny, Creative the Whole PackageThis game is cute and funny, just amazing. But I do have some minor problems that I would like to share with you. First off, I kind of had a problem trying to find the items (training sodas, etc.) when I finally figured out they were in the menu, I was genuinely surprised. So I guess that means maybe put items in a more obvious place, like where the decor and friendship items are? Another thing is, I have been playing this for a long time, I have only gotten 3 patterns. I have caught and trained 8 Magikarps but all of them are usually the same pattern. I don’t really know if that is intentional but it sometimes just gets me frustrated. Fun at first, but gets repetitive and lacks contentWhen i first got the game, being a longtime pokémon fan, i was very excited to play a game focused around none other than Magikarp. If this game had other characters and was not a “pokemon” game, it would not have done nearly as well and I definitely wouldn’t have gotten it. Now after playing for a week, it has started to become very repetitive. When your magikaro reaches a certain level, you have to abandon it and start from scratch with a new magikarp. Fun, casual gameI have had this app for quite awhile and for casual game players this is a lot of fun! It’s not just a mindless clicker game but a bit of simple strategy for all ages and waiting. No ads as well (which I love!!!)! Great Game!This game is really fun for people of all ages wether you play main series Pokémon games or not. It can take a while to beat a league because you start over every time you get a new magikarp. But at least you get +10% JP each time. Curiosity Pays OffSo, I downloaded this game while I was on a really long car ride back home. The name piqued my attention because Magikarp are ridiculous and I thought “Why not?”. Great gameI don’t even know how I found this game XD This is crazy. Magikarp can jump 100 meters in the air by simply using the useless attack splash. Lol. I like all the patterns, you can even evolve magikarp. Speaking of evolution, you should put the pattern your magikarp has on the gyarados: pink to teal, black to purple, purple to pink, brown to orange and so on. The league gets like to the point where you’re super far in but magikarp retires. But I don’t mind- you’ll get there eventually! Charming and TimelessKeep finding myself coming back to this charming little game. Each time I’m blown away by its creative quirks and adorable art and animations. I’m a huge fan of idle games and this is definitely one of, if not my most, favorite. Magikarp given a new lease on life!I’m always skeptical when it comes to mobile games because I know how they operate. However with Magikarp Jump I feel like there is enough fanservice to keep players interested without having to dive into their pockets to advance. Amazing game but dead contentThis game an addicting semi-idle fun game. Definitely contains hours of entertainment. This game alone re-ignited my love for Pokémon! Despite my love for this game I'm sad to say that as of December this game hasn't had a single update for over 4 months (bug fixes excluded) and once you reach the final league (gym) there is literally no more content to the game. You can finish this game after raising approx 160 generations of magikarp. And afterwards? Well if your F2P you are just farming diamonds (this games payment currency) and an excruciatingly slow rate. I am currently in generation 377 and in the past 200 generations (approx 1-3 hours gameplay time per generation) I haven't been able to receive more than 100 diamonds. ( up until gen 160 you get 10 diamonds per lvl up). As of today I'm not touching this game until another substantial update. OkayIt was ok. I like the basic idea and all but I don’t like how you can lose your Magikarp. It would be amazing if you could battle the Pokémon that stole your Magikarp with the cheering Pokémon. It makes me really sad and stressed out that I’ll have to start all over again FOR THE FOURTH TIME. Also, it gets boring when your waiting for you to get coins, a league play and 3 training points. I wish there were mini games or something to keep a player occupied while their still hooked to the game. I like the game and how you can raise Magikarp though. I also want to customize the avatar and give them a name. I also would like it to be a little like a normal Pokémon game and for their to be a town or somewhere the player can go to and a place for the player to be able to join/connect with other players. You could add a feature where you could make a house and inventory for your Pokémon and stuff. Horrible 'Random' TrainingThis game overall is very fun and addicting, it can get really repetitive however. The worst part about this game is the luck with training that I get. It 'randomly' generates what training event you are going to do since each event gives different "Jump Points". You unlock more events the further you level up. Well, I have 8 different training events unlocked and I get the very first one (Sandbag Slam) almost EVERY SINGLE TIME. I just did five training events in a row, and FOUR of them were Sandbag Slam! I'm level 42 in the game, so this event only awards about 11k - 25k JP which is almost NOTHING and it just feels like I can't even get anywhere! AwfulIt’s amazing that a game can be this bad. After formally getting passed the beginning and getting into the groove of the game. I come across a tree with fruit on it, and the game asks me if I would like to have my Magikarp jump to get some fruit.
