Command & Conquer™: Rivals PVP Positive Reviews

My favorite mobile gameI started playing this game and I found it slow and myself out matched. I still played it on the side. Once I unlocked some very powerful units. I started to dominate the competition and found it very satisfying. I found that my units were to similar and I changed it up to win more. I hit level 30 and thought it took much to long to level up but I started to learn how to use to units I already had and master them. I kept playing and after few months the game began to feel simple and easy. As I was getting close to quitting I unlocked new units and began to learn to play with them. These new units were different than the rest. They were much more specialized than the others creating a massive advantage if used properly but a huge weak point of not. As I neared the max level I figured out that to many expensive units are to difficult to make and get overrun if not supported. So I turned back to some of the first units I got and it really made a difference. I am still changing how I play. The game is constantly getting new units to use each with their own abilities and weaknesses. The game is to good to just read about you have to get it and try it for yourself. Give it time it will feel simple started out and like every time you fight you either dominate or get dominated. This changes and the battles will feel like a struggle..Version: 1.8.1

Nothing like classic C&C, but that’s a good thing here. They’ve done a great job converting C&C into a fast paced mobile game. There is no base building, just combat, as you and your opponent fight for control of 2 or 3 launch pads. A meter fills up when one player has the majority of launch pads, and when it’s full a missile launches on his opponent’s base. 2 missiles wins the game. Games take 2 to 5 minutes on average, which is perfect for gaming on the go. There does seem to be an issue where players who advance too quickly will suddenly find themselves consistently outmatched by about 2 unit levels. This is prettymuch like a brick wall that stops a player from getting any further up the ladder, for a while. I have 2 accounts. On my main account I advanced very slowly and have spent about $65 in micro transactions, and I get fair battles, but on my 2nd account I went on a 42 game win streak, then 35, then 51, and I’ve spent nothing, and now every match I get is a challenge battle, and that’s no exaggeration (the past 50 consecutive battles have been challenge battles). It’s pretty discouraging because I had set out to prove that free players had an equal chance in this arena, but it seem that may only be true up to a point..Version: 1.7.1

Thoroughly Good game, but pay to win. This game is great, with lots of units, strategies and characters (and C&C lore too) and presents a definite drive to grind. But it thrives on pay to play, I can not help but think that my opponent who has massively higher level units has paid to be able to win when I have not spent a dollar. Pay for play takes you out of the game, wrecks the immersion and the thrill of the battle, as how well you do in the outside world comes into the game (paycheck size or willingness of parents, yes the younger people as well are in this). You play a game to escape the outside world, not see it come to wreck in just another way. I recognize that it is how the company makes its money but perhaps it could make its money off of cosmetics. This could include unit skins, map skins, possibly an in-game map maker feature as dlc. Possibly special colors and effects for special abilities and unit kills. They already have emotes to buy, I do not understand why this game can not be like League of Legends or similar games and allow a fair playing field and still make a killing on hardcore fans, which are most of the people who play this game on a daily basis anyways. If you want to make it to the top without paying, you can, but it will be a hard.. and long journey, that unfortunately doesn’t get to be that way for others. But it could be, the developers willing...Version: 1.8.1

Fun but yes pay to win! End of storyNow I’m not saying I don’t love the game because I do I just spent my first 20 $ over the last week and am now lvl 10 and in both leagues silver and one gold and can barely compete basically 2 or 3 losses per win. Ima tell you straight out a few tips first play and enjoy the game cuz it’s mostly bots or guys who really don’t give a dam at first who you’ll be playing with this is the best times you’ll .... after you unlock nod at lvl join an alliance this is key and join a big one because you donate cards and they do to so this helps you get the cards without paying and this is when the game becomes major pay 2 play like how I’m having trouble now even 20$ in..so yes you will pay because wen it’s 3,000 credits and 150 cards to level up a rifleman squad by god you will pay or play till next year for them lol now is it fun? Yes does it have robots and cool space vehicles? Yes do you build the base? Not really but yea I guess so...so join an alliance be prepared to spend a little money like I said I spent 20$ and am having a little trouble still which is why I dropped my rating to three star...and pls add campaign like South Park phone destroyer to unlock cards! And increase currency and xp gain per win or just do somerhing where we can get stuff for free I don’t mind paying but 20$ in a still getting rolled on come on EA!thx for reading my long review just wanted it to be honest - Cadillak(in the game).Version: 1.2.4

Good game play butWith a big selection of units and needing two resources to level up a unit you will be spending money or grinding a long time. How long you grind depends on the level of unit. Early on you get a good amount of resources to level up the fewer starting units but then as your account levels up you unlock more units leading to needing more cards and credits and your reward crates have a chance to drop cards for of every unit you’ve unlocked. You will also face players with units much higher then you. If they are over an average of 1.5 levels above your units it will be a challenge match. Meaning you won’t lose league points but can be very difficult to win. Even units 1 level above yours equals a disadvantage. You can and will beat a lot of these players but you will lose lots. You will also end up with cards for units you didn’t want to use and cannot do anything other then donate very few of them a day to alliance members. They limit how many cards and total donations a day and your frequency of requesting donations is too limited to make a true difference. You use your free daily cloning chamber and daily donation request on the same unit and repeat this every day for three months or longer to get the cards you need to level up one unit one time. And that’s with level 12 units. Wait for the grind to get 13s 14s and maxed 15s..Version: 1.8.1

Good game, but...The game is fun, but when I saw the ad, I was thinking of a large scale battlefield with mobile bases and a thousand ways to attack, and the ability to capitalizing on the stats of either the allies, Soviet Union, or the Imperial Empire like in Red Alert, but when I started playing the game, the feeling from the original games when away and left me with an “oh...” kinda feeling, the game itself isn’t that bad, but it barely relates to the original games, the screen is fixed in a certain area without and movement, the bases are fixed in place, the need to build endless fields power plants and other essentials and gone, and it’s purely a capture this point kinda game that personally gets boring really quickly, it’s not so bad that I can’t even look at it anymore and rave about it on Twitter, but it wasn’t nearly what I was expecting and gets boring easily, but at least it brings in new features like personal troop upgrades though, and it’s a red vs blue style game, but I hope that we get a game like that soon where we can rest on feelings nostalgia while besting the Soviet Union at every turn with our friends, or fail and get crushed by the hammer over and over again with said friends. Thank you for reading this review if you did, and I hope I’ve given you guys some new ideas for updates or new games.Version: 1.2.4

An enjoyable walk down memory laneI had my reservations when I saw the promotion for the game because I grew up with C&C. It was the first PC game I played as a kid and I’ve played all the games up to Tiberium Wars 4. The game is a little less involved than the PC version (obviously because it is on mobile), but that doesn’t take away from the addictive game play. Matches are short and fairly balanced. There is a level of strategy involved (the most expensive units are not always the best to field). Leveling up units is straight forward and it doesn’t make you feel like EA is out for a money grab pay-to-win “strategy” game like so many so-called “strategy” game apps. If I were to give it a critique, it would be the build times. Every unit across your build list loads at one time so you can field a soldier in the same time it takes to build a Wolverine mech. It would be nice to see some of the PC build times included where barracks build unit faster and cheaper but are weaker to the more expensive longer build time units. All-in-all, it does make me want to bust out some of the older PC games and give them another spin..Version: 1.2.4

Please read before playingThis game has many great aspects in regards to game play and graphics. The parts of the game which are the worst, and almost unplayable, are the matchups and the fact that you almost have to spend money to stay competitive like a month or two into playing. Additionally, when you loose a game it says “mission failed” or “your base has been destroyed” which is infuriating when game after game it matches you with players using maxed cards you haven’t even unlocked yet. Even the cards you do have unlocked are so much higher lvl it’s pointless to even play. I’m not talking some games but game after game of much higher lvls. When you finally get an actual playable match it’s against a much lower lvl player that I’m sure feels the same way and I usually just resign the game...and the cycle continues. Why can’t they match you with players with similar experience and card lvls most games?? There is no leader board to see where players rank and no place other than ladder to practice using new cards unlocked . So basically you have to lvl all cards up to even play with them to see if they even help your decks so if you don’t have patience to build up card levels over a year or two or have $$ to throw away this is prob not the game for you. Just sayin.Version: 1.8.1

Great Game, but Capitalism Controls AdvancingI have played the game for about a month now. It is well designed. Though challenge battles are annoying, it is the only way to advance to higher levels where units are far superior and you either invest time or money to upgrade your units. Basically if you have time to burn keep upgrading or if you don’t have time then buy the upgrades like any other game. Unfortunately because obtaining high level units takes forever, you naturally remove the ability for people with high skill to play those of equal skill. In essence, the game is structured like society with glass ceilings. Back in yester-year (i.e., Starcraft, Warcraft, C&C, etc.) everyone’s units start at zero and anyone could play anyone. If this game could be a reflection of a true meritocracy then it would shine, versus incessantly asking people to buy diamonds for upgrades. Bottom line, though the game is incredibly fun, its easy to see the makers are trying to find ways to annoy the s$&t out of people to pay to move higher..Version: 1.8.1

This game is simple in the good waySo this is a decently fun small scale strategy game. There is only one game mode, capture points and launch a nuke at the other guy two times. So sadly your strategy is heavily based off your battle doctrine, fights are always front line battles with minimal but effective means of flanking depending on how distracted your enemy is. This game is a game of whit, it’s a little like chess. You can see everything going on when your forces are covering the board but you need to pay attention to who’s fighting who and who counters who. Some people try and be cheeky by attacking harvesters right away, and this works against new players who panic, but it surrenders any advantage you might have in securing controls points, and harvesters take a long time to kill, not to mention you get one free harvester out of two. So it’s more of a gamble then anything. This game is fun and there is strategy involved, but it’s a fast paced game so don’t expect the total war approach. Think of it more like Desert storm style of warfare.Version: 1.8.1

Lvl 21 reviewI've played all cnc from the beginning and this is nothing like the original, which is perfectly fine because there's no way a game like that could be played on a touchscreen. this game has been fun so far, but now i reached a point where i play people much higher than my rank and it says i'll earn twice the amount of xp for winning or lose no xp for losing. realistically you're going to lose most of the time against these people because they have stronger troops. now it feels like a pay to win game. also, i noticed i am playing a lot of the same opponents over and over. i guess not many people are playing this game anymore? it would be nice if they added a third faction like scrin to give the game more variety. or an even better idea would be if every commander had 2 special abilities for example kane would have obelisk of light and a nuclear bomb. or if Lt strongarm had the turret and paratroopers. having 2 abilities would be a lot more unpredictable edit: lvl 35 now, update review. i'm changing from a 3 star to a 4 star because they are constantly balancing units and releasing new units as well. 👌.Version: 1.4.0

Not like Red Alert 2 or GeneralsI can see myself getting bored play this game. Same thing over and over again. I was hoping for a game similar to Red Alert 2 or Generals. It is an ok game. It does takes strategy to win battles so it is close. I really would love to see the return of the Red Alert 2. That game I wouldn’t mind spending money on. Give us something that has a storyline and missions to complete. ok after playing the game for several months now i am not getting tired of the action at all. this is the most fun i have had on my ipad or iphone. i can’t get enough of this game. sure you can spend money and i have. But you don’t have too. It’s just a lot slower to level up but the fun is still there. i have been beat by low level players that had some serious game strategy. you learn a little more from every loss. i have seen people with lev 3-8 stuff in Master 1. so the whole pay to play stuff gets blown out of the water. You can climb up the ladder if you have game. End of story..Version: 1.5.0

Fun, but pay to winThis is a great game. The units are varied and strategizing is a blast. The only thing is is that it is very much pay to win. If you are good you will reach a point where everyone has units 2-3 levels high than yours. Thus making strategy useless. The enemy can send out units with a disadvantage and take out your units. The only way to upgrade your units is by getting cards from chests. How do you get chests? By advancing in the league or by spending gems to get them. The game will give you a few gems but not nearly enough to buy even one chest. The chests you get from the league are very far and few so even if you do get them, you probably won’t get the cards you need. At silver the level cap is 8. The level up a common unit to level 6 is 75 cards. You get 10-15 cards per mid tier chest (the prize for advancing in silver). So even if you get the cards you need you will not have enough. Thus they prompt you to spend your hard earned money to win. Anyways, I’m done ranting. It is still a fun game mechanically..Version: 1.8.1

Great butI’ve enjoyed Command and Conquer for awhile since PC n all and I really do have a fun time with this game, however recently I’d gotten a new phone and didn’t link my info previously and ik that’s my fault so I don’t have a problem with it but I’m writing this to give you a heads up that if you do too well in the beginning since you might’ve acquired previous experience somewhere else then once you raise your skill that high in the game then all you’ll be paired with are people soooo much higher lvl than you; for example there’s some really frustrating units you unlock later in the game at much higher levels and they’ve become somewhat meta, now I haven’t even unlocked the 2nd or 3rd commander yet and I’m facing people that have units that only unlock at like level 44 and above, so now I’m plagued with facing really difficult units until I lose enough games to bring the skill based matchmaking down a bit, just a heads up peeps.Version: 1.8.1

Best Game in a long time!Let me just start off by saying I am a very honest person. And most games can’t keep my attention after 2-3 days. But this game right here is another story! I’m a big fan of the older command and conquer games. I played them growing up. I love the concept, it’s just great in my opinion. This game is very well put together! The graphics are great (I’m playing on iPhone XS Max) It’s super easy to level up, earn gold, & diamonds! You can join an alliance and get help (you get these cards which help you level up players, you can request them from other players) and you can play friendly battles! This game takes some strategy and some time but it’s really great. So not only are you leveling yourself up, but you levels up your players and each month they reset. Everyone starts fresh and there’s weekly events you can do that help you get more gold and stuff. This game really is great I recommend it to all my friends and now to you!.Version: 1.8.1

Not Command and Conquer™ Generals II, but also not bad.So this game is Command and Conquer, also this game isn’t really Command and Conquer. It is a really fun mobile game that gets major kudos for not requiring “energy” or anything else to play. You can play as much as you want for free. I love that. This game has an awesome Command and Conquer skin, but to me doesn’t totally feel like a Command and Conquer. You have no control of your base, it’s just the object you protect, and I understand why. It’s a mobile game. The ability to build new buildings with more powerful units is in there but you don’t have the ability to bring your command center with you or control its location; that function and many others are completely missing from this game, but with all that said it’s a good mobile strategy game and you can play free. You also can pay and get more upgrade cards for your individual units and the large amounts of in game gold you spend to complete the upgrades along with the upgrade cards. It is a fun game I play pretty regularly and I enjoy it, Just remember that it is kinda Command and Conquer™ and kinda not..Version: 1.4.1

Fix this game it should not be like thisI love this game but now it’s getting a little bit out of hand either someone send something towards my base that I can’t kill because it’s a way to tank he or someone just keeps taking out my collectors it and I can’t even kill that thing because half the time there is no counters for it that early on and it’s just getting out of hand I win once and then lose about three other times and then one again and then just the cycle goes on and I lose all the medals I just earned and another thing that I think you should fix is certain units that like if you have an aerial unit and you have something that can kill it it just runs away and you can’t kill it because he keeps it’s faster than you I think that some anti-air units have a long anti air range so they can’t keep running away 1 tile then coming back I think that say like the wolverine or the nod spider should have a two hexagon range which would counter most things like they’re supposed to so then you can’t really get screwed by air units ALSO flame tank still needs nerf.Version: 1.2.3

This is the best mobile strategy game that no need to wait for upgrade. Just drop and boomWhen I started playing this, I felt my self that I am playing the C&C PC games. The hexagon layout is just for placing the position which two component can’t use the same place. It’s just exactly like PC C&C games. You collect resource to construct building or train your squad using harvester. You can drop anywhere you like but make sure you drop and take the right place first. This is THE MAIN STRATEGY, people. You can destroy enemy harvester to stop enemy from collecting resources. EA give you free enough items to play this game as a pro. You only need to buy coins and diamond for upgrading your troops faster and it doesn’t require for you to wait and this is what we have been waiting for. Battle matching system is pretty much fair. You just need to play smartly. Thanks EA Team for bringing our old memories back. Suggestion: if we can attack enemy base directly, that will be great instead of owning nuke..Version: 1.2.3

Very fun!I slaughtered the competition at first. Now I regularly get pitted against players 10 levels above me that have access to far better units. I don’t mind losing when evenly matched, but all my units have a range of 1. I get slaughtered by powerful units with a range of 2 over and over again. Also, you get good experience from the first 10 matches each day. Winning gives you a 5% bonus. So winning doesn’t really matter much as far as gaining player levels. But winning does matter to gain PvP score. It seems I am now stuck. I am forced to level up my player level and it seems I will never get back to being pitted against players my own level. Or perhaps I am wrong. I lose slightly more than I win now so although my player level increases, my PvP score stays the same. So maybe I just have to slog through 10 more player levels with a 50/50 win loss record to finally get matched against players my own level? If matchmaking is explained in the app I have missed it. Having said that, the game is great fun at first. More strategies open up as you gain levels and get access to more powerful units. It’s definately pay to win, but not to an extreme. Edit: Boy, was I wrong. The League resets each month. There is also a little “i” button to click to get more info about the league. I also got some units with a range of 2, which helps level the playing field. All is well!.Version: 1.3.0

Great game, please balance a little more.I’ve always loved command and conquer games, and the EA team has done a great job implementing the same aspects I loved into a mobile game. Amazing graphics, intense battles, and unique units and customization make for a definitely worthwhile download. My only problem is these being free to play they motivate to buy by giving you that head start for investing. I’ve spent probably over $50 on the game and still got stomped in rivals championship, only won about half the games because I was either way out-leveled or they have an avatar and I’m nowhere close to unlocking that. So another nerf to avatar and fanaticism/ heroic charge, and please make the level maximum level 9 with full training for the tournament. I only have one common card level 10 and fighting all 11s fully trained is brutal. I feel like a lower level tier would ensure that championship results are based only on skill not who has spent more on the game..Version: 1.4.0

P2W CASH SHOP SPAMFirst of all: the game is fun.. I’ve always been the type to steer from games that require me to micromanage and this game is a perfect trainer for this. If you can’t micromanage your units, you lose. NOW for the crappy part of this game. It’s pay-2-win end of story. F2P will only get you so far before you’re getting smashed by higher level units/commanders. And even when you do spend money, it’s not enough. They are too many units that require too much gold to upgrade that become obsolete way too fast and when you level up the pool possible rewards from crates becomes even larger making your f2p progress even slower. Another thing with the P2W.. this is arguably one the most expensive and aggressive cash sho games I’ve played. Every thing is over $15 and every time a new unit or “special offer” comes up, it’s spams your menu and makes you want to delete the game. Like if you hit a button to go away from the main screen to and go back to main, a prompt to buy something pops and it does this an infinite amount of times..Version: 1.3.2

Pay to winI have played this game for over a year now, and I’ve found myself too good to continue playing the game without paying to upgrade my cards. Levels are a useless mechanic that do nothing for the skill gap, and reward pay to win . 8/15 games I encountered are challenge matches where positioning, deck comp, or micro means nothing because your opponent is three levels ahead in every unit and can walk up to your units and obliterate you without any repercussions. Once you reach the higher levels, you either have to spend money or waste time getting blown off the map in order to progress, which comes much slower when you automatically lose every other game. I’m not surprised, since it’s EA. Just disappointed that an enjoyable game is being ruined by a metric that does nothing for the game outside of create a pay to win structure..Version: 1.8.1

Excellent RTS on MobileI am a long time RTS fan on PC and when I saw that C&C was getting a mobile game I, like many, scoffed at the idea. After play a few hundred games I am excited to say I was very wrong. It delivers a compressed version of traditional RTS 1v1s that take no longer than 5 minutes. I get in a few games a day and it really scratches that RTS itch that my schedule doesn’t allow me fulfill with longer format PC games. I also must add, I truly do not believe the game is pay to win outside of maybe Tiberium league. The reviews that claim it is are by people who are uncomfortable with the idea of losing as a necessity for skill growth. If you are familiar with real time strategy games and understand the concepts of economy, harassment, builds, and learn unit counters you will not need to spend a dime on the game. I have put no money into it and with practice I have no problem reaching diamond league with both factions..Version: 1.3.2

Disclaimer: pay to win, but I did not payI have tried so many games with in app purchases and this is by far the best game for free to play experience. Of course, you should expect that those who pay will get an edge on some aspects as for all pay to win games. In this game, it about levels. However, the game itself is designed well enough that techniques and strategies plays a significant role unlike other games where whoever pays will completely destroy whose who don’t every time. With the right techniques, you will be able to beat those with 1-2 levels above you, and you can learn about those techniques from the game wiki and Reddit. I have been playing this game about 6 months now, and I almost got to the tibirum league with only level 10 decks. Just remember that the cost for upgrade cards grows EXPONENTIALLY up to level 11 and then slows down. So don’t expect to level up fast if you don’t pay..Version: 1.8.1

Fun multiplayer game! This is one of those classic examples of “if they would just drop the franchise name it would make a lot more sense”. For fans of Command & Conquer on PC, this is NOTHING like those games. However, it is still pretty good and very fun! It’s a 1v1 hexagonal PVP game where you deploy units to fight each other, and launch a bomb that destroys the enemy base in two hits. The gameplay and premise is simple, yet at higher competitive ranks, a good deal of strategy and tactics are required to outsmart the enemy and destroy them. I’ve been searching for a multiplayer game on mobile that is great to just pick up and play and this game is almost perfect for that. It’s easy to learn, hard to master. Matches don’t last longer than 5 minutes, so you can play a quick match while on the toilet or sitting in a boring lecture at school. I recommend it if you like PVP strategy games!.Version: 1.5.0

Fun, for awhile.I’ve been playing C&C games since they first came out nearly thirty years ago. I especially used to love the gameplay against computer players. I was skeptical when I saw the gameplay in rivals is PvP. The game was fun for awhile, but it becomes evident early on that pay for play is necessary. I generally don’t mind spending a little money in support of the developers, but the purchases are set up in tiers; in other words, purchase prices double as you gain more levels. The first tier is $4.99, the second is closer to $10, and presumably the next tier is $20. I refuse to keep paying to play a game advertised as free. While it IS technically free, unless you spend money you’ll be fodder for those who do. You’ll be allowed to win a game or two out of every ten or fifteen you play, but it becomes VERY obvious you’ll be padding the win record of paying players. As much as I love the game, losing to players with less experience and more money will inevitably get this game deleted..Version: 1.2.4

Fun, challenging, balanced, and a little laggyThis is a great mobile game. To clarify: you CAN pay to level-up units. This is literally pay-to-win. However you will always be matched with people with similar unit levels, so those people you won’t see much. If they throw you up against someone that paid bank and is out-leveling you, they make it a “challenge battle” so it doesn’t count as a loss. And tbh I’ve won like 75% of those too. I haven’t spent a penny and have a 90% win rate. The game is really good at not being too in-your-face about micro transactions (which is weird for EA). The only pop-up is on the launch screen. I’ve just experienced a lot of lag and sometimes disconnections. Not just me, sometimes my opponent. I play on 5GHz WiFi, and even with a gigabit connection at work it still isn’t consistent. Usually not a dealbreaker but sometimes you miss something that could save you a missile launch..Version: 1.3.0

Great game; could be betterThis is one of my favorite mobile games at the moment. The strategy is fun and the characters are great. Yes, the game has a pay to win aspect to it, but it’s not as bad as most of the mobile games today. The general feel of the game is amazing, and I’m having a blast playing it. However there are a few things that I think would make it better. An amazing feature would be some sort of guild war. You could have a giant map and with six players. Three vs three. In addition, character skins would add a fun artistic bonus to the game. Also, adding a “make your own map” feature would give players the freedom to choose how there map looks and feels to play. In conclusion, this game is already so fun to play, but in my opinion, adding these features would make the game feel so much more enjoyable..Version: 1.6.0

Fun until…This game is fun to start with. You learn strategy and start to win against other “people”. People being the key word. Once you start getting to levels above 7 you begin to notice that some players have units much higher than they’re level. For example, you will play someone who is level 8 with level 11 units. So you get decimated. That’s fairly common. But the kicker is, often the other “Player” knows exactly how you are starting whether it be infantry or mechanized ground, or air. As soon as you start to build your forces, they already know what you are doing. I think often times I’m playing against a program that is trying to learn strategy. Plus the game is giving them an advantage knowing what you are building before a “human” could possibly know. It’s shady. It’s a fun game but to stay competitive you absolutely must spend money or wait for the challenge competitions..Version: 1.8.1

It sure what it is...The game is awesome, awesome graphics, awesome gameplay, and awesome rewards. The first game I played where I really feel rewarded just for playing, let alone winning matches. HOWEVER, I do have one complaint and the reason I went with 4 out of 5 stars: I don’t think the matches are played in “real-time”. I think I’m always playing against A.I. using a random player’s profile (deck). Also, I hated that at the last minute it seemed someone within only a few hours left in a race, beat me by about 300 medals (after having to climb over 600 medals from second place; W.T.F.)...I’m still scratching my head on that one. Either this player played this game non-stop and bought all kinds of in-app purchases to boost his stats, or the developers of the game decided I shouldn’t deserve to get the first place prize. But, in the end it’s a solid game and I’m enjoying the hell out of it at the moment..Version: 1.7.1

Fun gameThis game is one of the best games I ve ever played. Don’t let the bad reviews fool you, most of the people who write the bad reviews are less experienced at the game. They do not know that the true excitement of this game reliant on hard counters and micromanagement. This game should not be treated as a cnc game, as it has no elements of traditional strategy or the cnc plot, as it is meant to be a tiberium all star game with focus on tactical control of units instead of the strategic control of units in other cnc games. The beauty of the game is not in the unit levels but rather in the general strategy of your play style. Want to get tech units like the mammoth tank? Go double harvesters. Want to end the game quickly with two swift missiles? Go aggro with a single harvester and kill your opponent before their tech units get out. What strategy you choose, there is only 6 unit slots, so choose wisely..Version: 1.8.1

Lots of fun, Definitely not pay to winAlthough it’s hard to get to the highest tiers of the competition without grinding for unit levels, there are plenty of events that serve as level equalizers that cap unit strength to your highest. The game is all about unit counters, so your levels are not necessarily the end all be all so long as you’ve got good micro and deck construction. If the matchmaker since you’re up against an opponent who is hired of the units, it is considered a challenge match and you do not actually lose anything at all, but get double the points if you win. Fantastic balance. They managed to fit a good real time strategy on mobile, and I think it’s definitely worth a try for anyone interested in a strategy game. Contains two factions that both have some interesting twists. Your deck is limited to 6 units, so good preplanning is required. A+.Version: 1.8.1

ChangesI can’t give any higher than 3 stars. I love this game, I’m good enough to be in high masters with level 8s. But skill only goes so far in this game. Pay to win is the games main thing. Unless someone is complete garbage with higher levels than you you’ll always lose to the people who have spent more money than you. Which I hate in a game. Cosmetics, unit effects, emotes, so on so on. Should be the money maker. But no, EA just couldn’t help but put in a mechanic. Where every level makes a unit more effective, and levels can be bought with real money spent on in game resources. So people who are less skillful then me constantly win against me because they win every 1v1 because their unit is leveled up more than mine. As someone who has played this game for 9 months, I love it to death. But with the razor back and shade becoming super stupidly overpowered, people just buy resources and level them up and never lose against free to play players..Version: 1.8.1

The bottom lane is stupid because of that little puddleYour units always try to go the long way around to attack your enemies and that’s what causes your units protecting the launch sites to die quicker. Fix your game.Version: 1.1.6

Waste of timeJust try’s to make you pay for stuff. By matching vs way stronger opponents..Version: 1.2.5

Pay to enjoy mentality. It starts you off vs bots with “player names” to get your confidence high, then gives you a few people your level, to mix in some losses. Then it sends in higher level enemies so you get a losing streak and feel compelled to spend money on the game. Once you do, it repeats the sequence to make you food gratification over spending money. There is no fair game. You either face bots who you wipe the floor with, or people with a card advantage. Great if you do custom games with friends, otherwise don’t waste your time on this scam..Version: 1.5.0

To all the naysayersThis is an amazing game period. Yes there is a cash grab component. Yes you can pay for upgrades. However, take it from a true strategy lover that has played the original C&C games, Starcraft 1 & 2, Warcraft 1, 2, 3, this game does have strategy and is full of it. For a mobile game this is GREAT, and best feature is NO ADS! You can play as much as you like without spending a single cent. Take that as a challenge and enjoy the game, join a local group, and try to increase your win ratio. Even if you have PAID for ALL upgrades you can still LOSE if you don’t have what it takes. If you enjoy true skills make sure to check this game out with an open mind..Version: 1.4.4

Good not great yet-is a fun game to waste time but has a few fundamental flaws that can make it frustrating to become a regular player. Cheats are rampant and the developer is done with trying to stop them, there is no easy mechanism for banning cheaters that I can find and sometimes it just ruins the game. The rewards are strangely expensive and once you get to around level ten and 3100 points they pit you against players that are so far above you that the only points you can expect to win are when their mom or wife call them for dinner and they abandon the game… Too bad was a great game.Version: 1.8.1

It’s a fun game for meAnd now I’m not good I’m fighting against higher lvl then me fix it so I can fight lvl 31s or something.Version: 1.8.1

It prefectI don’t now what to say.Version: 1.8.1

This Game is easy to learn and tough to masterThe ranking system and leagues really keeps this game from being a pay to win. It has options to pay for more cards and crates but the in game pay out reward system is quite reasonable. I’ve played this game for about 2 years and I’ve only spent maybe 50 dollars in that time because I wanted to try some new units without waiting to level them up naturally. It was totally a choice and not necessary but honestly they deserve some of my money for making such a fun and intuitive RTS for free. But keep in mind I was in the top 1% of players before I ever spent a dime. Anyone who cries “pay to win” is just not a wise player in all likelihood. I hAve one request, I would really like more skins for units, that made the race events so much more competitive, people really try harder to get those exclusive skins. I would also buy more skins if they were available. In short, it’s a top notch game for free, and in my opinion it’s worth trying out, just don’t expect to learn the ins and outs over night, when you unlock new units the game becomes progressively dynamic..Version: 1.8.1

Great gameI would give this game 5 stars but almost every other time I battle my game says “pore connection “ and the game becomes glitchy (kinda stop and go) please fix! I do love playing this game but it is hard to play when the game glitches every other time I battle 🇨🇦🎖🎖🎖🎖.Version: 1.8.1

Great gameNotice all bad reviews are 5+ years old js.Version: 1.8.1

Fun addictive gameAddictive and challenging and fun.Version: 1.8.1

Good gameIt’s a good game. Easy to understand and play, harder to master and dominate. You can definitely play for free and have lots of fun. No annoying adds. Games a quick (1-4 minutes each) so the time commitment is low..Version: 1.8.1

Where is my review?Where is my review I submitted twice now?.Version: 1.8.1

Add ScrinWould be great addition to the game.Version: 1.8.1

Awesome GameI love playing this game. Great strategy, no ads, it’s not pay to play, as stronger units are powered down to a common level to make each match fair. I play this for hours. Graphics are great as you would expect from any EA game..Version: 1.8.1

Terrible Game - Don’t waste your timeMy experiences with the game were somewhat positive the first 5 minutes but the game tries to pressure you to pay for the things by matching you against opponents with much stronger cards. After the first 4 matches I could not win no matter how hard I try just because I was simply outmatched - and considering how the game is built and how to get a victory, there is literally no chances of advancement without heavy dedication or purchasing stuff to help you advance which in most cases doesn't really help unless you spend a fortune..Version: 1.8.1

FixedGood game but once you get up to 3000 experience you can’t go further unless you play constantly. If you don’t play consistently it feels like I s fixed in the other guys favour. How can your enemy make Tiberium faster. I’ve done the math and my enemy is always pulling out top war machines before I can. Either they have the castes internet in the world or it’s rigged.Version: 1.8.1

BetterC&C Rivals is unlike anything else. I was expecting a Clash of Clans rip-off. Instead we got beautiful non-stop battles. A unit leveling system and a tight battlefield. Nukes on the line, Rivals got the Win!.Version: 1.8.1
