Run every cardiac arrest with confidence. Code Runner Pro is the complete CPR timer, ACLS code log, and resuscitation documentation tool for healthcare providers — built for real code blues in real hospitals, with full Apple Watch support for when every second counts.

From the first compressions to ROSC, Code Runner Pro tracks your code, your rhythms, your medications, and your shocks in real time — then exports a clean PDF report for charting, debriefs, and review.

Trusted by doctors, nurses, paramedics, and first responders in more than 24 countries.

■ FOUR SIMULTANEOUS CODE TIMERS
Track Code Time, CPR cycles, Shock intervals, and Epinephrine dosing — all at once, all visible, all synchronized. No other code blue app gives you this level of real-time timing control.

■ REAL-TIME CODE BLUE LOG
Document compressions, rhythms, pulse checks, ACLS medications, defibrillation, and events the moment they happen. Every entry is timestamped automatically for a clean, defensible resuscitation record.

■ QUICK MEDS — LIFE-SAVING ACCESS
Customize your own ACLS medications — epinephrine, amiodarone, atropine, bicarb, calcium, magnesium, and more — and place them right on the home screen. Tap once to document. Color-code, reorder, and build the cardiac arrest kit that matches your practice.

■ REDESIGNED FULL CODE LOG
A beautiful timeline view of the entire resuscitation event — from initial rhythm to ROSC or NO ROSC. Review every compression cycle, every medication, every shock in one clean chronological report.

■ BUILT-IN CPR METRONOME
Deliver high-quality compressions at 100–120 BPM with an adjustable, clinically accurate CPR metronome. Available on iPhone and Apple Watch, with multiple sound options. Plays even when your phone is silent.

■ APPLE WATCH — RUN CODES FROM YOUR WRIST
Start CPR, toggle timers, log epinephrine, document shocks, and track rhythms directly from Apple Watch. Perfect for bedside providers whose hands are full or who need discreet documentation during a code.

■ PEDIATRIC CODES SUPPORT
Switch to the pediatric list for age-appropriate ACLS medications, rhythms, and events. PALS-ready for NICU, PICU, and pediatric emergency settings.

■ ONE-TAP PDF EXPORT
Generate a polished, professional PDF of the entire code — timeline, medications, rhythms, shocks, and outcomes — ready to hand off to the attending, attach to the chart, or submit for code review and quality assurance.

■ CUSTOMIZE YOUR WORKFLOW
Adjust metronome sounds, alert styles, timer visibility, medication order, and rhythm options. Code Runner Pro adapts to how your team runs codes.

■ BUILT FOR REAL CLINICAL ENVIRONMENTS
Used daily in:
- Emergency Departments (ED)
- Intensive Care Units (ICU, CCU, MICU, SICU, PICU, NICU)

Code Runner Pro: CPR Timer App Comments & Reviews

Code Runner Pro: CPR Timer Positive Reviews

Additional featuresWould love to see some free text entry of events or for vital signs..Version: 2.7

Great appI love this app- it makes documentation super easy- especially if you have someone helping who is inexperienced. My only preference would be to make it optional to add additional banners (subjective selection to the user of course-) based on preference/ med use. I wish I could add the meds I use frequently to the “home” screen, towards the bottom so I could just click on them as well. Great app!.Version: 2.7

Great app, awesome serviceYou cant buy the responsiveness this developer showed me. I sent them a message about one way to improve it and they responded within hours and added the suggestion on the next update. Love this app and can't wait to use it in the field. (To clarify, I don't wish for someone to be in cardiac arrest just so I can use the app. It's gonna happen though.).Version: 1.5

Could you add / integrate the ACLS steps like seen in the app MediCode? So that the app tells you all the steps to do — ie to push epi, has the dose, and you click a button to indicate you pushed it, the timer and log changes appropriately... MediCode has the steps and you can click through the decision tree (ie shockable or not), tells you what to do, but doesnt have timers. The perfect app would have both! Thanks.Version: 2.7

Love it!Saw this app on tik tok and absolutely love it! I wish we could go back and manually enter information for times when we don’t get to press start..Version: 2.7

Easy to use, works greatDoes exactly what you want it to do, without being complicated or tricky. Wonderfully supportive staff as well. Couldn’t recommend it enough..Version: 2.4

Good, but could be betterEasy to use - would be nice if you could document exact etco2 and vitals after rosc instead of just noting it as an event - still have to write the numbers separately which is annoying..Version: 2.7

Best cardiac arrest management appTitle says it all. On top of this, the developer is super receptive to feedback and honest; if it’ll make the app better she’ll do the work to tweak it and if it’s not she’ll tell ya. Worth the purchase..Version: 2.1

Possible updateLove this idea! Could you add a free text option? In order to add in vitals, ect???.Version: 2.7

Doesn’t work on Apple WatchGot the app because it advertised working on the Apple Watch. It is not working and only displays a spinning loading wheel. App on iPhone is great but not what I was looking for..Version: 2.7

Helps during code but not chartingGives individual times which helps, but I was hoping for something I could use later to chart the code. No way to edit if the wrong button is pushed. No way to record amounts of medications or level of shocks given..Version: 2.7

Great appI love the app. Please add an option to turn off the metronome on the Apple Watch..Version: 1.7

Excellent App!Great App. Love the Apple Watch support and metronome feature. Great app for physicians!.Version: 1.1

Amazing App!As a medical student, my job is to log everything into patient charts. This app allows for me to have all the crucial details for a full code. Take it from me: it is ESSENTIAL to have all this data in one place. Thank you for making this easy to use, organized, and well-thought-out app!.Version: 2.8

Must have for residents! Finally decided to buy this app mainly for its Apple Watch compatibility. It’s not too different from the free app Full Code Pro from AHA in terms of functionality but this apps cleaner, more adjustable and best of all - Apple Watch compatible. My favorite part about this app is being able to start it from my watch by saying “hey Siri, start code runner” which is super helpful during a code when your have gloves on and sweaty hands as opening your lock screen can get annoying and time consuming. If there was something I think that can improve its app is adding amiodarone on the following page. Also updating it per AHA guidelines by having the joules by the shock button may be helpful as well..Version: 2.7

Works very wellThis cardiac arrest timer works very well. It actually has multiple timers and you can keep a log of the code and email the report and you can also edit the various choices including medications events rhythms. Well worth the price. Nice metronome too..Version: 2.7

Super Responsive SupportI had problems with the app when I downloaded it, but they were super fast and responsive to help me figure out the issue. The app is a good app for using the Apple Watch to keep up with code events..Version: 2.1

Must for healthcare professionalsThis app has helped me a lot. From the metronome to the code logs. My favorite part is having everything organized and how easy it is to send the report via email..Version: 1.5
