Convenient & EasyI’ve used this app for years - being able to simply select prescriptions to refill, even simplifying renewals with doctors, made my life easier when I only had a couple of prescriptions to deal with. Following a recent hospital stay, my simple two prescriptions have been replaced with 10-15 prescriptions. This app has made that headache much simpler. Refilling, submitting to doctors for renewals, being able to see when different prescriptions can be refilled and then being able to open the app and easily check to see if a prescription has been called in, if it’s being filled, and being able to see if it has been filled and is ready to be picked up makes my life just a little bit easier. All without having to call my pharmacy and be on hold for 20 minutes to ask those questions! The newer features like being able to present a barcode to pick up prescriptions, which also integrates the ExtraCare card (no more digging in my purse to find the card!) and being able to add a credit card to streamline the entire pick up process is extremely helpful and simplified what has in the past been a particularly stressful errand. All in all, this app is great and makes my life just a little easier - during a time where the usual stress of dealing with a number of doctors and a long list of prescriptions has sometimes been absolutely overwhelming. I truly don’t know how I would be able to deal with it all without this app. I wish that were an exaggeration but it’s absolutely true..Version: 4.1.2
CVS Pharmacy storeI loveCVS stores they help me out so much and I love going there and I get my medication from there and the people are so wonderful and so friendly at every different CVS I go to and they are so kind and nice pharmacist even people up in the front. They’re so kind they greet you and smile on everything they ask and they need anything. I mean, they are upmost wonderful people in the pharmacist in the front cashier and the store are so amazingly clean and well stocked and everything. I mean, I love it. I can get my medicine. I can get over-the-counter stuff and I can ask questions and they know what I need and everything. Oh my God I love you guys thank you thank you whoever created the CBS please don’t close anymore. I went to one of them and they close the one that I’ve been going to for many years, me and my children been going to the CVS and they close that and we was so sad and my heart was broken because they were family to us and that they were scattered all over these people these pharmacies and the workers there they were scattered all over and our heart was so so hurt and sad that we no longer would not be seeing them and he broke our heart but now we gonna have new Family, which I was CBS we choose, but now our family is scattered to go different direction of CVS instead of one CVS that we used to go to so whatever CVS we go to we’re going to go to we now we’re gonna be welcome and we’re gonna build new Family. Hello Happy HolidaysIt would be a good option to add a cancel button for online orders for customers and store systems. I placed an order for store pick up at #9929. I waited 2 days haven’t received order confirmation for pick up. I call the store, a store associate help me he look up my order told me he will work on my order then proceed to tell me to call back 10 min to check back. I call back and the person helping me answer the phone again. He told me the item is out of stock and the replacement item is also out of stock. Then he proceed to ask me to cancel order. I told him I’m not able to cancel order there no option for this. So he ask the store manager and manger was not able to cancel order as well. Then I ask would it be ok if you ask manger to replace the item with something similar and he said that they weren’t able to replace the item. Then he told me to call customer service to ask to cancel my order. I just felt disappointed that the outcome was me having to call custom service to cancel the order. I think there might be a waiting period if the store doesn’t get the order ready I’m not sure before the order cancel out on it’s on in the system. It would be convenient to add a cancel button to give that option when item is out of stock and the stores aren’t able to replace the items. Refusal of the pharmacist named FATHA to administer vaccines at CVS HALSTEAD AVE. Harrison NYOctober 20,2025 at 6pm, my husband and I had a scheduled appointment for the vaccines influenza and RSV vaccine. SHANE, the assistant took our information., Insurance and financial information because we are to pay cash for the RSV and my husband’s he prepared the vaccine in front of us and had to leave us because they were other customers piling up. After 30 minutes of waiting, the pharmacist named Father came and took our information. Including our she went to the back and was gone for a good 10 minutes. At that point, I asked her what she was doing because the vaccines were already in front of us. When she realized that she had made a mistake, she raised her hand and she said I’m not giving the shots because “I am not comfortable.” I asked her why would she do that when I just asked her what she was doing and she said this is and we should get out. At that point, my husband heard how she was talking to me and so he that’s when she said that my husband was being rude and he actually was not. She went to the back and would not come out.. We waited for a few more minutes, but she said that she’s not doing it. I know for a fact that as a pharmacist, she took an oath. I would like to report this and also to the. Because no pharmacist should treat her patient this way. She actually started the defiant behavior. And later on will turn it around. Loyal CustomerThe app has a glitch - and is extremely slow. I’ve shared this with CVS previously and it was suggested I make sure my phone/internet/computer are updated with the latest software-which they are. I don’t have any issues with my other multiple apps-only CVS. In the morning I put approximately 5 colors into my shopping cart. I tried to review each shade before purchasing them all but I wanted to verify each shade first. I tapped on each item from my cart and the same image of the Soft Rose shade kept appearing for each different item. It showed the image of the product but didn’t show the name of the color of the lipgloss that I put in the cart. It only showed a picture of the Soft Rose color. Later in the day, since I was unable to verify the other colors before proceeding with my order. I called customer service to place the order hoping they would assist me with differentiating the colors (in my cart) but the representative told me she couldn’t see the items in my cart and I had to place the order myself because it’s a store pickup order. Therefore I ended-up only purchasing one lipgloss. The only way I knew what color I was buying is because, I could see the color through the bottle, but the name of the color did not show. It was the only shade that looked totally different from the rest. Even throughout the process of my order it didn’t show the name of the color. That’s not good at all, when you can’t see the description of the items you intend on purchasing (after they’re added to your cart). I hope this matter is taken into consideration, researched and resolved in order to better serve loyal customers..Version: 8.12.1
UnsatisfiedCVS has became one of my favorite stores over the last couple years since I have grown sicker with my auto immune diseases with that being said I use DoorDash quite often and I think that it’s unfair that when you use sites like that you cannot add your rewards card and get your discounts and you’re paying for items that are marked up rather than if you would go in-store and the prices would be cheaper and with that being said I’m on disability and I’m on a fixed income and I’m infuriated that I got some holiday candy that should’ve been on sale I’ll pop but I didn’t get to use my discount paper towels and the stuff that I have an excruciating toothache so I got to take medicine and it was $50. I could eat almost all month on $50. I’m upset with myself for even doing it but I just wanted to make a review about it, so that other people that are in my situation won’t make the same mistake because I’m literally gonna have to go without I just know that I’m having family over for the holidays and Igrandkids, so I always like to have a little snack of some sweets around other than that I just can’t wrap my head the fact that two small rolls of paper towels are $4.50. I feel like an idiot I literally live about seven minutes away from CVS so this man just got a $10 tip for bringing something that Took him about five minutes and I’m paying $10 a month to have the service, I think I need to regroup and cancel that app I’m definitely going to put a review about it on there app site as well as well. App can get confused about unread messagesThe CVS health app can get confused about whether there are unread messages or not. Notably, I had some messages, and I deleted them, but when I go back to my home screen, it insists that there is still an unread message. When I go back to the app and there’s nothing there. I tried deleting and reinstalling the app and before I even signed in again it still was saying that there was one unread message. I repeated this process three or four times, and finally the unread indicator on the badge on the home screen finally disappeared. But there’s definitely some bug about once you read your messages, the badge on the app icon will persist in saying that there are unread messages when there are not. It’s not a huge deal, but there is definitely some minor problem related to the badge icon and whether you have unread messages. Just an FYI. I did a screen recording where I manifested the bug, so if you want me to send that to you, just let me know where I do that. Unrelated, I also have a problem when I have a prescription that is ready to be picked up: There’s a place in the user interface where there should be a barcode for the pharmacy to scan. But in my case, even though I had good cell service, I get a perpetual spinning activity “indicator view” in the barcode never appears. It even has problems when I’m at home with excellent WiFi coverage..Version: 25.4.53
Super AppGreat app, that’s user friendly and has everything in one place. I love the ease of refills, being able to keep up with seeing dates of when last refilled, when scripts are running out of refills and ease of being able to select multiple refills at one time to fill. Then to see what you paid last time at pick-up for your estimated cost is very handy especially when you are on a high deductible health care plan and hadn’t met your deductible, paying the high costs of prescriptions and maintaining your budget is very important. You can’t have surprises at pick-up. Thank you for having such a great app that you can set up also reminders to keep up with needed refills, when pick ups are ready and not to even mention the coupons and my savings I get from keeping up with the sales and flyers you can also view from the app. If used to it’s full potential you can save hundreds a year because I have done it from using the coupons and watching for sales. CVS is there for the consumer and goes out of there way to compete with the larger competitors and I am much happier running into a store who remembers who you are, and you don’t have to fight large crowds just to get your medications and a few items needed. The staff can be found, they are happy to help you, actually know where things are, and know what something is for or can make recommendations for items needed. That’s off topic from the app but it all goes together. I really don’t know anything that could be improved that hasn’t already been done since starting to use it years ago it has come a very long ways. Best pharmacy app I know of!!.Version: 4.1.2
Best App EVER! Thanks CVSAfter a bad car accident over 5 years ago, I have found myself requiring pain management for the rest of my life. In needing this, I had to choose ONE exact pharmacy location to fill all of my prescriptions. Not only do I love my CVS location and all of the staff, I started using the app right away. I already had an Extra Care card, and used it for coupons and discounts. I’ve loved this app from the start, and thanks to developer updates on a regular basis, it has only gotten better! I would give more than 5 stars if I could. The app platform is excellent and user friendly. It’s amazing how much you can do with the app!! I’m now in the top 1% of Extra Care money savers in the nation, and I can refill, scan, and check prescription status right in the app for myself and my family. All of my coupons are right there - one click to “send to card” in the app and the discount will be applied at checkout. The more I shop in-store for things I need, the more customized coupons I get! I also love that you can open a barcode to scan for prescription pickup so that you don’t have to say ANY personal info out loud! It tracks and archives everything. I cannot say enough about how much this app has changed my in-store and pharmacy experiences for the better. Thanks developers for a beautifully designed app! It’s CVS, what more is there to say?I’m sure someone has something negative to say. An employee made a mistake one time, right? People are fallible, and CVS isn’t immune. Personally, aside from some rare one-off experience, CVS has been “rock solid” as far as providing my pharmaceutical needs, and the same goes for other non-pharmacy purchases. CVS introduces me to products that I love, but had no prior knowledge before walking down one of its consistently clean and organized aisles. The peelable gummy candy just to give an example. It’s righteous. They don’t mark up the Arizona Teas, which are still .99 in an age where billionaires believe they deserve every single one of our hard earned dollars. Well, not Arizona teas CEO, or CVS’s! My bad, veering right to avoid the politics. I find the employees to be friendly, and that actually matters a lot. The young people that work at CVS are generally the kind that seem like they have respect and responsibility, and often some intelligence and humor. I could walk in to my local store tomorrow and have a pallet of razors drop on my head, and I’d still not have a single negative comment. I do have a suggestion, maybe not the most likely change you’ll see, but I think the sign should say, “Get your Drugs here!”. “Beer, Drugs, and Hip snacks”? “Home of the never ending receipt”? HelpOK, so for the past time since I’ve had this phone number, I have been unable to join the extra care card thing because for whatever reason whenever I try, it says please try again later and the last time I tried was like over a month ago and I just tried like two minutes ago and it’s still said it. It would be really helpful if CVS themselves sees this and actually emails preferably emails me and tells me what I have to do because I think what I have to do is for them to take off this current number that I have that is on there because it wasn’t my number starting off it was somebody else’s and then re-put the number on for me because I can use my email for the stuff and I believe I can use my phone number as well but it’s not going to my account, It’s going to whoever else’s account and I can’t see like my points and stuff. So if you see this, reply to this, and I will get the email notification and then hopefully it can be fixed. And to be completely honest, you should be able to do this at the CVS/Longs building in the place you’re at, I shouldn’t have to call the mainland when I wanna do something here, it’s all because CVS/Longs was bought by a accompany in the mainland, you should have left it where the customer service was here not over there. CVS APPSometimes in the effort to improve apps, developers actually make them worse. They add more bells and whistles (that they think people should have) and take away or make it more difficult to access the features they need. That’s the case with this app. CVS has made it more difficult to manage your prescriptions, but added more features that open up teasers to join their rewards program and view their advertisements. They also have features like the weekly advertising circular pop up that you can’t disable. I go to CVS for prescriptions, and rarely purchase anything else. If I want candy, shaving cream, or toothpaste, I go to a grocery store. It’s getting to the point where I hate opening the app. The only reason I have kept it is because the pharmacist and the pharmacy technicians are usually too busy to answer the phone or it takes forever for them to pick up the phone. This isn’t a jab at the hard workers at the pharmacies, but rather at CVS corporate because of the direction they have taken to increase profits. They hire as few workers as they possibly can and still keep the doors open. I get it that they have to make money, but don’t drive customers away in the process. One final point is that I frequently receive surveys about the app, but have never received feedback on my responses or seen any improvements. I believe that company surveys are a joke. After you hit send, they go into cyberspace, never to be seen. It’s a tool that companies use to make their customers think that they care and prevent them from calling..Version: 25.5.31
Rx and storeWe always have a great experience here. Our profiles are linked making our experience more efficient and successful. When I visit the pharmacy to pick up a prescription, the pharmacist will always advise if there are more ready for pick up for myself or my fiancé. They are knowledgeable and always ask if we have questions. They advise when the doctor has changed or sent a new script. And consult to ensure directions are followed for effective and safety. To avoid drug interactions or negative side effects the pharmacist always consults on time and directions with taking a new script. They will make sure to question if we are still taking an old prescription and if so provide the safest and appropriate directions to follow as per doctors instructions. The pharmacy is fantastic with their care for our health and ensuring our prescriptions are in stock ready on time and even expedite if I stop in on lunch break and need a new script filled urgently. The pharmacist was empathetic timely and informative after an oral surgery in which we needed to get in and out to get home for rest. The pharmacist rushed our order and included extra oral syringes while the front end manager helped me check out because I had a lot of store purchases he helped scan and pack my items into my cart so we can get home as quick as possible . Thank you to the entire team for being a part of our healthcare and for taking such personalized exceptional care of us. It brings much comfort to have such professionalism and safety right up the street in the event of any emergency. CVS vs WalgreensI have been using cvs on and off for years til I started just filling all my prescriptions at Walgreens. I will admit, it was a lot to do with their greeting cards as well as the store. The Walgreens on Vermont and 6th is so much better than Pico-Robertson especially their staff and pharmacy and their crazy rules that no other pharmacy has or have even heard of By fluke one day I was driving back to work from a drs appointment and there was a huge CVS on Doheny and Wilshire I decided to go there instead just bc it was easier and I had planned on just dropping off my prescription and coming back later to pick them up when I heard the pharmacist say, they will be ready in 5 min if u want to wait. He knew I was new to the store so prob just wanted to impress me but that’s not the case Now I have had all my meds transferred from Walgreens to CVS and on top of it, every other time I go to pick up my meds or vitamins etc, I get $5 rewards to spend on anything in the store. It’s so cool how it works just to get medication I acquire enough points to get the $5 rewards. And the best part about this cvs is that it’s huge, the staff is so friendly, their bathrooms are super clean and it’s easy access and they all know my name What a great feeling when you go into a store and the people who work there actually greet you and make you feel very comfortable- definitely not at Walgreens would such treatment occur. Great love it love it Staff amazingStaff at pharmacy are awesome clerks at store always friendly greet you every time you walk in. I wish when we received our 25% off cards that the store would show that items are on sale as I never have gotten to use mine. This time i spent extra time to make sure nothing said on sale as i live on a fixed budget. However, once again not one item was on sale. Also you should not send time to refill your medicine if they are schedule I or II as i get numerous emails to refill then i say yes it shows that on that date it has been filled however when you go there then you find out no too early. They don't allow the 3 day grace period. This time the pharmacist was kind enough to call me and I appreciated that as being disabled it’s difficult to go out. So i said thanks i will just wait on the others so i can pick them up at same time! I am use to it but i imagine older people or new customers might have issues with it. Overall I love CVS they treat all their customers with kindness and compassion. You never walk into the store without being greeted with a smile and they always thank you when you leave! Best Pharmacy overall it is a A+++! I use to go to Walgreens & Safeway where i was judged. The pharmacy tech asked me in front of everyone what was wrong with me, i started crying as I have had so many surgeries to try and fix me! I worked in healthcare and tried to treat every patient with dignity & compassion as i use to think this could be me one day! Improvements to websitePlease schedule prescription refills once or twice a month instead on different scripts on different days. I get 15 routine refills every 90 days and when they are on so many different days it is frustrating. I wait until I have 4 or 5 refills since I pick them up at the drive through. It would be perfect if there was a way to leave a message when ordering refills. I have two that are ordered for 90 days but I can only get one month at a time. I want to be able to send a message to fill those monthly refills since they are not automatically filled. I know there are so many calls to pharmacists and it seems that would be easier for them and me. I wonder why I have so many messages to call pharmacist for a refill when they are scheduled for refill. Again, a place to message pharmacist would be so much better especially when I think about it after hours. I also have one script that I don't need refilling and would like to leave message to cancel prescription for that one refill time. Why are so many of my prescription refills not in stock when they are due for refills? This is happening quite often lately. I don't understand why ready refills are out of stock? Love CVSI was asked a few years ago if I’d like to join the CVS Care plan for 5 dollars per month, every month I get 10 dollars to spend which is double my monthly investment along with an abundance of coupons giving me 20 to 30 percent off my purchase, a percentage back from my purchase and 5 dollars off my purchase None of these coupons are restricted to only allowing you to use one or the other . I just made a purchase for Nicorette lozenges an aid to quit smoking that would have cost me 300 hundred dollars total if I purchased them elsewhere, trust me I’ve shopped around for the best bargain , my total came to 135 dollars tonight for a supply that will last me approximately 2 months giving me adequate time to ween off nicotine entirely. This is one of many purchase I make on a weekly basis from cvs. I purchase hallmark cards with my coupons, makeup, cleaning products, vitamins and so much more. The app on my phone allows me to quickly scroll through the couponed items and if they are products I use and I know will be a higher cost elsewhere I simply click send to card and my purchases are discounted at checkout . It blows my mind that people say no when asked to join when they are in line in front of me, I’ve actually shared my experience with a few of them and changed their minds . I am all about getting the best price for my purchases and like to splurge on my self affordable! Normally LOVE CVS!CVS… is normally a fantastic ally in health and fitness commitments. They occasionally pose availability issues in certain areas or demographic challenges in addressing the needs of diverse communities. But! I am a faithful CarePass Holder (have been for many years) and simply adjust my shopping list to reflect the area my professional calendar has me scheduled. However… I have relocated to another major metropolitan city and am just learning the city. Thus… I decided to try the CVS APP with shipping and delivery. Don’t DO IT. The APP is quite frustrating and not at all predictive nor user friendly. After signing into the APP, it requested that I “Sign In” (WAIT. WHAT??). Then when shopping you chose a location for pickup, 3 time I received an error message. Worse… by the time I hit checkout… some items were not available (again… WHAT). It gets much worse. The APP advertises 1 to 2 day shipping for CarePass holders. Nope. Actually, the APP would only schedule 6 calendar day shipping (seriously). So…I opted for pickup. Still nope. The APP required a purchase before I could Update my account information. Awful. BTW… their online competitor confirmed same products “Next Day” No Charge. Better price. But… then why am paying to be a CarePass holder?.Version: 9.8.3
Keeps getting betterCvs has nailed it with this app & continues to with updates. The CVS Pharmacy app provides customers with easy to use, detailed information based on their prescription history. The pharmacy portion allows you to make several different options with any prescription you have on file. You can fill from a detailed list, you can archive and remove medications into another part of your medical history, you can even scan your bottle to refill a prescription, chose pick up location & while your waiting? Go ahead and make sure your ExtraCare card is associated with the sign in information used to access your pharmacy information. Look through a variety of weekly coupons & deals, coupons specifically catered to you as well as Sunday coupons. Yes! Manufacturers coupons found in the Sunday paper that we all clip for savings, is now available paper free, through the Cvs app. You can now click and simply send to your card manufacturers coupons that can be applied in addition to your personalized extra care coupons to maximize your savings. Can it get even better? YES!! You can send all of your extra bucks you earn directly to your card, no more worries about throwing away those precious extra bucks! whether it be for a specific item, weekly deal, beauty extrabucks or pharmacy extrabucks- all acquired earnings can be digitally applied 😀.Version: 4.0.3
SpottyThe CVS integration with Target makes no sense. You earn points "extra care dollars" to use on some products. Yet you can't purchase any target items at CVS (including pharmacy items) and CVS is inside Target, so basically those points are absolutely useless. *This is the case for at least my store, I'm not sure if it's everywhere.* Also receiving text notifications is inconsistent. Sometimes I'll get notified when my order is received, sometimes when it's filled, sometimes both, and sometimes neither. The third party discount search has never worked, it needs to be fixed or just removed. And there should be a way to add your discount or insurance remotely via the app rather than having to wait for the order to be ready and printed, then show your info to the tech, have them enter it and reprint it, then check out. It would be faster and easier for everyone for us to be able to add it ourselves before we even go pick it up. It would save everyone time, and it'd be better to see the actual cost of our med before we get to the store because sometimes when a new med is added it just gives the retail price and you don't know the actual price until you check out. Plus if you want to have your meds delivered but you don't have the discount/insurance added yet you have no choice but to pay full retail or go in in person to add it..Version: 24.8.32
5 points CVS Santa BarbaraI have had a couple of problems getting medications from you. The latest one that had been phoned in to this pharmacy from my doctor. Most recent was from the Cottage ER, Dr Anderson early in the morning 5/14,2023. It was for prednisone and a Zpak. I went home and went on the CVS app and it stated that it was being processed. So I waited all day and never received notification of my medication being ready. You are now closed. Now I need to wait until the morning and just hope it’s ready. I may need to go back to the ER as I have human Metapneumovirus and am starting to have extreme wheezing again since the Prednisone they gave me in the ER wore off. A few months ago I was late picking up blood pressure medication due to a death out of town and was told it was put back and I would need to get a new prescription. Didn’t even get a smile from your employee as she brushed me off. I switched all of my medications to a more trustworthy and dependable pharmacy. Handy AppI love this App…….it’s very handy to check prescriptions, when the next refill is and if you need to remind your doctor to call your refill in. You can also see the weekly paper and purchase items and someone will have them ready for you, you can also check your CBS Extra Bucks and see all available coupons you can use. The pharmacy stays busy and this way you don’t necessarily have to call them when they are all working hard to fill prescriptions, take orders from ppl’s doctors and stock prescriptions as they come in. The only thing is that the app is a little slow at times but all-in-all I’d highly recommend this App. And, also want to give a big shout out to the wonderful service in the CVS in Rockwell, NC……always so nice, helpful and get the orders filled very quickly for you. *(The recording on the phone is a different matter and it’s TOO many Yes or No’s to get to the Pharmacy and if you’re in a hurry getting to the pharmacy then forget it bc the responses to get to the pharmacy is ridiculous. Their should be a number to push if you just want to speak with the pharmacy without having to jump through hoops to get there……the app makes things so much easier.).Version: 9.8.3
Poor system when store items are not in stockI have found the CVS App helpful at times, but lately it’s been more difficult to navigate, search for products and resolve insufficient stock issues that were the fault of the local stores which don’t have accurate stock data. It’s the second time for me to lose some of my rewards $ which had been divided up among all the items in my online order. I took extra time to make sure that I ordered items that were in stock according to the app. I changed the store location in order to find the right one that had all the items in stock. However, I received an email saying that one of my Aquaphor items have been canceled. This is the second time that I bought us a pair of items which were part of a BOGO deal or a reward that required 2 items. So due to the store cancellation, I was no longer qualified for the $10 cash back reward. I also lost part of my discounted amount since CVS only refunds the discounted amount!! I believe the App mentions that the store staff will replace it with another item at no extra charge ( if it’s not in stock). I wasn’t sure if there’s a place where the customer needs to request for a replacement item. Anyway, the staff didn’t have any good solutions to help me get my discounted amount back, or find another product so that I could qualify for the $10 reward for 2 Aquaphor or Eucerin products. Perhaps it could have been added to the other half of my order, which is being shipped ! Unfortunately this has taken far too much time and energy from my day. I may not order via “ store pickup”option in the future if this system isn’t improved ! Please consider a better way to resolve such problems in the future! Life saving app!This app is a life saver! So easy to use and can complete many tasks at the ease of your fingers tips from home. You can refill all your prescriptions, request refills, ask questions, add family members prescriptions and care, shop, plus much more! I normally do not leave any kind of reviews but this app deserves a high rating and review. I use it almost daily and has greatly improved the quality of my life by making things so much easier and confident for me. Gone are the days of constantly questions what prescriptions I need to get filled as it tells me what’s coming up, what’s date I filled prescriptions on , what date I have upcoming prescriptions due, and will also contact my providers for prescriptions that I need refills on and do not have any written for. Pharmacy workers not listeningToday there was a patient gentleman that works for your pharmacy on Taft Ave, Cincinnati, OH, near UC, that finally heard me when I said “there must be a mistake with my insurance information, because I am being charged too much”. I had said this more than once, and showed a number of employees my cards. I requested a printout that showed which insurance was charged. No success. Tonight, the gentleman checked all the numbers and found the mistake and made the correction. After he typed in the new numbers, the out of pocket cost changed from $107 to $40. There needs to be more customer service training for your employees. There is lots of traffic at this store. It’s so busy. They have be able to fine and correct errors without talking to the client as if they don’t know anything. One guy took my cards and put in the info incorrectly and told me that the copay amount didn’t change because only one insurance pays. I often get charged more when the Perscription is requested by my doctor fir 3 months but is only filled for 1 month. If I am experiencing these types of problems, I’m sure others are also. Please go back 6 months and check the insurance that was entered and make the correction. I would like to have any co pay charges that were more than I would have been charged returned. CVS - Customers (are) Very SatisfiedThe online system is very efficient and effective. Prices and rewards are super awesome! They have almost everything in the store. The manager at the 3020 Sepulveda Blvd I forgot his name -he’s a young African American gentleman. He happened to be at the store when I was looking for a help to open the locked where they keep Tylenol and other Antihistamine pills inside the fiberglass cabinet. I didn’t even know that he’s the manager because he was going around isle per isle and tidying the store. He’s very professional, friendly and very helpful. Two thumbs up for him! Over all CVS store in Sepulveda Blvd Torrance CA is probably one of the best -even though most CVS stores are good. I also trust and comfortable with the pharmacy staff. Most of my family and friends are CVS customers because I recommended CVS to all my friends, clients and family members. There’s only one thing that I wanted to comment on, is the extra Rewards bucks that customers get after we paid our items at the checkout-a long receipt with bunch of coupons and $bucks rewards but it expires within 5 days. It’s not the app.The app is fine. Actually the app works great. My problem has been every time I place an online order a portion of my order is canceled. No explanation, just canceled. Usually it’s one of the main items I need. If it’s out of stock then fine. But other stores will offer to substitute for another item. I’d be ok with that if it was out. What gets me is since there is no substitute offered I have to go into the store anyways to get a replacement then find the exact item on the shelf that was canceled. I do the online orders because I have a medical condition with both legs with bandages that go from my feet up past my knees. I can get through the store but if I have to stand in line it’s agonizing at times. I’m not online shopping because I want to. Why do we keep canceling portions of an order if the items are on the shelf? It happens every time. So this time I had some of the most important items canceled and I never picked it up. I got them from Walgreens instead. I’m just not going to go through the aggravation or the pain in the legs for this any more. Not Liking APP ChangesInability to PrePay most times. Which Also means inability to have delivered/shipped. Seems like NOW the APP has Extra Steps to get to the areas I need to go. More work for ME. Not caring for App Changes in early 2024. 🤦♀️ If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it, just to have a tech job to do. I don’t see much improvement, just more steps & more difficulty. I personally felt the RED Squares on home page were easier to spot the prompts I need. I wouldn’t be opposed to THOSE being in a single scroll down as opposed to the two column prior format. I don’t enjoy wasting time jumping through hoops of fire to get where I need to be. The shortest distance between two points is a straight line. Furthermore, your tech refuses to allow me to chose the prior nickname I previously used in a review. Why do I need a new Nickname for every review? Inefficient. Again inconveniencing ME. New app is awful!The new app is terrible compared to what it used to be! It used to be so easy to view the details on a prescription, such as the last time filled, or the doctor that prescribed the medication. Now when you click on the details of the medication, you get a picture of the medication, along with an E-copy of basically the print out they give you at the pharmacy. Which is fine in itself, however I can no longer see the last time filled, or prescriber information! And if you have had more than one prescriber write the same prescription, and then need to select for a refill, how are you supposed to know which one it is without that information? And I can’t even call the pharmacy anymore because when we do so you are forced to leave a voicemail and they call you back when they are free! They don’t even answer the calls anymore! Twice now I haven’t even been called back and have had to go down there! And for someone who is disabled and has mobility issues that’s a bit outrageous! The app needs to be restored to what it was. One App That Genuinely Makes Life Easier….And sadly that’s not something I generally find myself saying, & if so 100% meaning it; but this is def one of the exceptions! It gives you the capability to manage your entire family’s medications etc., cvs shopping online &/or in store pickup, ability to request Covid hometests with a few finger taps & then it comes right to your door, manage your card/store membership & rewards, much easier etc for monitoring your ExtraBucks & personally i think since the apps been out it’s made earning ExtraBucks happen much faster & earning much more than before; also you can schedule/reschedule/& much more Appts for the Minute Clinic- even to request or schedule a video call/appt, & give you instant access to your medical records; as well as Covid vaccination documentation & documentation for any & all Other vaccinations you’ve had…..ALSO allows you to submit prescriptions/refills in 2 seconds from phone & you can have your prescriptions filled & sent directly to your door on the app w/ a few taps as well! I know I didn’t touch on literally every great aspect of it but there’s MANY examples. It’s definitely extremely convenient & helpful etc..Version: 9.7.4
Each update takes a step backwardsIsn't the point of using an app to make an experience easy and save time? Well your app gets farther away from that with each update and here’s why: 1. I’ve been receiving texts but with this update it shows text alerts turned off. I tried to turn it on but after entering my mobile # and confirming it and making a selection for type of messages it will not allow me to save. Very frustrating as I have attempted multiple times. 2. There used to be an option for sharing prescription information for family members tied to same care pass. I received texts if Amy family member had a prescription ready. That is no longer available. This often causes multiple trips to the pharmacy. 3. The express pickup option is useless. Every time I use it in advance I still have to give the drive in associate the same information for the prescription and wait for them to pull it and most of the time give them the payment card again. 4. Please consider having all deals automatically default to the care pass card or at least provide an option for “send all to card”. It is time consuming to run through 150 coupons and select send one at a time..Version: 9.9.3
Communication and availability of prescriptionI have a very severe sinus infection that is even causing pain in my chin. I was on an antibiotic, but apparently was not the right one so my doctor prescribed a different antibiotic and prednisone to help me. He squeezed me in at an 8 AM appointment yesterday because of the severity of the sinus infection. He sent the prescription to my CVS immediately. They did not open till 10 o’clock which is understandable however it is now 24 hours since the prescription has been in there and I still do not have it. Because of not being on anything all day yesterday, the infection is coming back with a vengeance. I got a text saying that the prescription is delayed. I tried to call to find out when the delay was going to be filled or if they could get it at another CVS and I would go there to get it. however you can no longer talk directly to a pharmacist. You have to leave a message on their machine and they’ll get back to you. They have not gotten back to me yet, so I have no idea when this prescription will be filled. Communication is a big thing when we’re speaking about Prescriptions. not being able to speak directly to a pharmacist and finding out when I could get this prescription or if another store has it is unacceptable. I switched from Walgreens to CVS because in Ohio I liked the pharmacist and the communication with the store. But I am now here in Florida and it’s a whole different story here. I was on the next-door neighbor site and quite a few people are complaining about getting their prescriptions in a timely manner from the CVS at 215 Jacaranda in Venice Florida. I guess my only answer is to call my doctor and have him send the prescription to a Walgreens so I can get back on this medication to help me. Thank you for your time..Version: 24.02.41
Best CVS PHARMACY CHARLOTTE STREET POTTSTOWNThe pharmacist is very knowledgeable and friendly.. If there is ever a problem with my Doctor or insurance issues, the staff will call discuss with the pharmacist and somehow they get it taken care off. The employees at the store are very helpful and always tell me when there is a Coupon available or tell me a better deal. So grateful for their help. If you plan ahead and load all you coupons and bring your paper coupons you can really get great deals and even get Extra Bucks to use on your next visit. I joined Carepass, it’s a no brained. You pay $5 per month and get a $10 extra buck to use on your next purchase. I love CVS !!!! It’s a win win shopping experience. And when you join Carepass you get free same day delivery and 25% off any CVS Product. In today world everything is so expensive especially things you need to buy from a pharmacy store.. If you are not a CVS member, you need to transfer all your prescriptions and Join CarePass. The CVS APP is so easy to use, very Straightforward. Excellent ServiceTypically the pharmacy does an excellent job! The only problem in the past 3 years has been that one of the pharmacists has a bad attitude for years. 2nd incident: A pharmacist saw that I had 3 prescriptions for a MILD painkiller. (I see a Pain Management Dr for years now and take 20mg of Oxycodone each dose, so 5mg of Percocet isn't much to me.) I was between doctors and I had a surgeon prescribe me two scripts, and a Pulminologist wrote one for codeine bc I keep breaking/cracking my ribs because I cough so hard from having MAC (non-contagious Tuberculosis) Anyway, the pharmacist yelled from her computer across the other customers to me, "Why are you doctor shopping to get pain medicine?! You can't do that! I'll fill this script today because I see you had surgery recently, but I'm reporting you to the FDA as a "drug seeker"! (UM, she could have discussed this in private where I could have explained the situation. I don't need the unnecessary embarrassment due to the other customers and her coworkers being present.) The store manager doesn't seem to remember me. I interviewed for a position there and had my hair down. From there on out she would be very nice to me when aforementioned hair was down. Since I didn't have it down in awhile when I did she said in a friendly voice that it's been awhile and was great to see me. But, when I'm in jeans and have my hair spiked she used to say "shoplifter" to her coworker and literally walk so close behind me that we almost touch, asking "what can I find for you?" Repeatedly. I've never shoplifted in my life! That's so profiling because the way I look on my days off!!!.Version: 4.0
My CVS #7513I love my CVS, everyone is so nice and polite. My pharmacy David and his staff are the best. If they say 20 mins. It’s 19 mins. They greet you by first or last name. I don’t expect them smile all the time, because they look at pills all day. They do their best to get you out. I’ve been getting my medication there every since it was built all the Pharmacist are great. They are very willing to answer your questions if you have one about your meds. David is quick to ask me if my doctor changed my medication because he is aware that there is a difference in a medication that may be the same as one that I’m already taking. I have never been disrespected but by one lady, and she still refuses to treat me with respect. The other new technicians in there are very slow I have orders in there in the morning and when I go in at 8:00 PM my order is not ready. Then you have to sit back and wait 45 minutes for them to get it ready. If they change companies of where they get the medication. They used to tell you this tim they didn’t I had to call. Must you have to wait that long when they’ve had it all day. Someone in my opinnion has dropped the ball somewhere or they don’t have enough help. But it’s not my problem..Version: 9.7.4
