Afterpay: Pay over time Positive Reviews

ConvenientI can’t tell you how much I love, love and appreciate the convenience of Afterpay payment plan. The economy prices has gone up tremendously, with Afterpay it allows you to get the things you need right away when you can’t afford the full price all at once. It helps as well to keep you from borrowing money from someone and getting yourself in a bind when it’s time to payback. How many ppl do you know will allow you to pay them back in installments? These days everyone need their money back all at once, or don’t have it to loan. With Afterpay you don’t hv to worry about that hassle. This payment plan with Afterpay prevents you from owning anyone but them, not to mention it helps you get what you need right then not wait until you finish paying the full payment. You’re able to pay on the payments by the time you get paid! 😍The absolutely great thing is, if you don’t hv the money when it’s time to pay, you can get a few extension. I needed an expensive car part that I couldn’t afford to pay in full, and get my car fixed all at once. I needed my car to get to work to make money. Thank God for Afterpay convenient payment installments, I was able to get the car part, and afford to get my car fixed all at the same time! Yess! I didn’t have to worry about paying someone back a loan all at one time.. Win, win situation with Afterpay! I absolutely love Afterpay! 😃 I only wish they will allow you to pay a few bills through Afterpay. 😆 Maybe one day.🤞.Version: 1.51.0

AFTERPAY ANY DAY! 😍😍😍I LOVE Afterpay so much! No, this review is NOT paid for or sponsored in any way! I have been using Afterpay for the last couple of years now. High credit? Low credit? No credit at all? No problem! Listen… My credit is in the 300s because of my previous marriage and dumb choices. But Afterpay has had my back anyways! There is zero interest no matter what AND NO HIDDEN FEES! There is no catch to it. Seriously. There is no catch to it at all. All you have to do is pay for a fourth of your purchase at first and the next three payments will be one payment every two weeks! If it was not for Afterpay, there is plenty of things I would have never been able to get for my kids or myself. Afterpay has made birthdays and holidays extra awesome! I would like to say even if you can afford a purchase all at once does not mean you should have to pay it all at one time. It is easier on your mind and wallet having the option to live with a little less worry by using Afterpay! Bonus! They have a reward system. What are you still debating on? Just do it! P.s., Afterpay will remind you in advance through email and/or text letting you know when a payment is almost due! So, don’t worry about forgetting or falling behind! Overall, I would recommended Afterpay to anyone and have recommended it to several people! I give this company a ten out of ten. My reviews are 100% honest as always whether it is sponsored or not. Thanks for taking your time to read! I hope you will give Afterpay a chance!.Version: 1.74.0

DisappointedDisappointed that I could not use my $1,000 credit line at a store they advertise as an in-store use! This app is not what it says it is! I have used it online always paid and been perfect. Never a problem. Just know don’t make any plans with this app. Hopefully it works for you & you survive with it! Then I contacted customer support. They said they would look into it. I provided them tons of info and had multiple emails back and forth and they never have gotten back to me with an answer as they said they would. Cause they don’t have an answer just say “I don’t know” as a company! Admit, the advertising of stores and how the app and company is ran is not what is marketed! Admit that it doesn’t work like that so people don’t think it is another way and plan their Christmas with After-Pay! I mean come on After-Pay, you were the start of companies using your services and people being able to buy and make payments and using your services. It’s unfair to not lead them directly and advertise as “can be used in-stores” and for it not to truly work in-stores! There was a girl next to me in the other line, she couldn’t use her After-Pay either ...... AT CHRISTMAS TIME!!!!! I am super disappointed in After-Pay as I always hype this company up! Cause I have used it for sometime now online and thought what an amazing idea to start allowing people immediate in-store purchase. After-Pay, if you all need a director in the stores to get this to you please let me know! I gotchya! Megan Page.Version: 1.25.0

Review of AfterPayThanks to AfterPay, I can now afford to buy products that I could not afford previously! I have a very limited budget because I’m disabled and cannot work. AfterPay also affords me to buy more quantities of products at one time! And since I discovered AfterPay, through this App I have discovered dozens of wonderful brands that I never knew existed! Being disabled means that the majority of shopping that I do is online. Now that I’ve discovered AfterPay, I often use it as a prerequisite for whether or not I will even shop on any particular website. If the website doesn’t offer AfterPay, chances are that I will not be shopping on said website, even if I don’t intend or necessarily need to use the AfterPay payment option. I believe that brands who don’t offer AfterPay as a payment option on their website, do not care about their customers as much as a brand that does offer AfterPay as an option for payment. And I want to contribute to brands who are all inclusive and don’t discriminate against people who are lower income. I also want to support brands that put their customers first! A brand or company that has the AfterPay payment option on their website obviously shows said company or brand cares about their customers! And the AfterPay App itself shows faith in its users! By giving us the credit needed to make purchases we might not otherwise have the opportunity to make. I use AfterPay with almost every online purchase I make. And I highly recommend it to all online shoppers!.Version: 1.53.0

Wait A minute!I first was introduced to Afterpay through Shein. I applied for Afterpay and they started me with $600 dollars! I began utilizing my purchasing power and paying off my purchases way before two weeks. Afterpay began raising my purchasing power up to $1700 dollars! I became a mint customer! Please believe it’s not easy maintaining these rewards perks! Now here is where Afterpay went wrong with me. I’ve never ever been late. For safety on my credit cards I lock them when not in use. I forgot to unlock one of them and Afterpay couldn’t gain access. I totally forgot to unlock my card!!!! It wasn’t 24 hrs and Afterpay sent me a friendly reminder with no late fee penalty attached that they were going to take my payment again. I immediately unlocked my card then decided to just pay off all remaining balances. Do you know Afterpay dropped my purchasing power to $400 dollars??? They took ?1200 away from me for forgetting to UN lock a payment ! I wrote several letters and they agreed that I would receive my $1200 back within 30 days! I’m still waiting? They have returned$300 but nothing more. I love Afterpay but this situation has left a very bad taste in my mouth! I’ve put so many people on to Afterpay family and friends. Didn’t care about collecting referrals. I wanted them to experience what I have minus the hiccup. Hope they honor their word and return me to my purchasing balance of $1700 and not $700. I’m waiting patiently. Respectfully Happy unhappy Afterpay customer.Version: 1.53.0

Great company! This company is the best! They offer so many different options for shopping. They are very generous with their amounts they offer to customers. I signed up a year ago due the Christmas season as a trial for myself to see if these type of companies are worth using, and let me tell you this is legit. They started me out at 300 at first, which I believed was very fair. I made 2 different purchases for Christmas gifts from different vendors and made the convenient 4 payments. Then after proving myself, as soon as the next month they raised my spending limit significantly. This company is very generous with their credit raises and they are also quick to recognize and reward the customer that presents good payment history. They also have a virtual card that you can use at vendors like Ulta where you can shop in store and make payments that way if you preferred. I haven’t used that feature yet but that too is a great option if you’re out and about shopping. For example, the rewards include having the option of making bigger purchases and paying monthly as well as bi weekly. I have not had any problems with returns either. They are quick to refund any overage amount and you don’t have to wait weeks for the return of funds, it’s immediately refund back to whatever card you used. The payments are small and manageable. This is a great company, I highly recommend! Thank you AfterPay! I’m glad to be a customer!.Version: 1.72.0

Will definitely be a returning customerI love Afterpay for several reasons. 1) They have payment plans with ALL the merchants that I shop with for example Aveda, Ulta Beauty, and Hollister But these are also stores that I stock up with so it can be quite spendy so it’s great to have the option to break up the bill in 4 easy payments, and interest free. 2) you don’t have all the unnecessary credit cards for every merchant you love and 3) they havnt messed up a single order yet. I ordered through another business like after-pay around Christmas of last year. Around the time my 2nd payment would be due o realized I hadn’t gotten any notification via text that my payment would be due within a couple of days (which Afterpay does) so I tried going online to find my order and couldn’t find it. The website would keep saying I didn’t have orders currently, I called customer service and they couldn’t find it and an account manager was to call me back and never did. I repeated this effort twice, both times there was no follow up whatsoever) a few months went by and I get a phone call from a collection agency ( they had no problem finding me what so ever. I paid the bill in full with them and was told the only way to get it removed from my credit report was to contact the merchant directly. I attempted this 3 times, all 3 times no call back or care about my situation. So I have a huge red flag on my credit because of the merchant, Klarna. So, yes I will happily stick with Afterpay and hope I never have to deal with a copy cat of them again!.Version: 1.54.0

Awesome app to buy your stuffI been having this app for about 2-3yrs and it has been great! I get wat i need and pay in 4 payments. I like this cause it works for me when you dont have all the money up front. There is 4 of us in my family and i do all the shopping and this app works great for me. I order the things when i need them and also the shipping isn’t so bad either. I kno the app starts you up in a low amount that they lend you but as you do your payments on time…..the amount loan increases pretty fast. And l like that. This app works if your not a shopper for going into the stores cause of covid. This app does give you discounts on stores cause the stores has them also. (Bonus also if you use it in stores) It gives you gift cards to use with an amount you want with watever store you like…paying that amount back in 4 payments too. And you can use those gift cards Watever store or online shopping your shopping at but that catch is that you need to accumulate certain shopping points in the app. Ill take awhile to get them but still its worth the wait. I’ve shopped in many stores online even small businesses that are in the app aswell. They do have popular app stores to use and they do add more stores at times in the app. And when you acuminate certain amount of points the app allows you to receive your order without your first payment and get your stuff which is pretty cool. I enjoy shopping threw this app. It has helped me in hard times. I also got my mom & friends into using this app too. I do recommend this app to everyone!.Version: 1.47.3

Love to shopI love AfterPay gives you a chance to make payments without pulling your credit and also it’s affordable. You also get perks of discounts on your fave stores and and also each in time payments made get your more rewards and points. So far I like it. The downfall is this life happens and if anything was tk happen to your financial situation or your cards was stolen (like mines was stolen) you can remove your cards but one of the cards that was stolen Will probably or have been set as preferred or if it wasn’t set as preferred it will automatically set it as is because it’s the only card standing on file which is not going to remove itself whether you request to fry it remove it will not remove. So to give anyone a heads up make sure you have like a prepaid card and to at least borrow cash from somebody JUST IN CASE and that way you won’t fall behind on payments until your card arrive and also having to pay a hefty bill. Just pay on time and you be good. You have options to change your schedule payment date as well. My first time with Afterpay was 10 days and since then I been with them a year now and I’m almost at a $2k spending limit with Afterpay so I increased my spending power because I have shopped and made on time payments. Now what I noticed is that I don’t have the 10 times a year to change my payment date back and now I only have 6 times a year, which is questionable. So again I don’t know Afterpay switched from to 10 times to 6 times a year to push schedule payment options. Hope this helps and hope to get a response as well why they changed this yearly timeframe..Version: 1.59.1

Shop Til You Drop(in an affordable way)I discovered Afterpay during the Pandemic. While laid off from 1 job and a work reduction from another due to the Covid-19 Virus, I would sit in my home (as most of us did) Sometimes, I’d look at fashions and wonderful why I wanted to purchase items since 1) I wasn’t leaving the house and 2)Did you read the part where I wasn’t flying due to reduced flights(I’m a flight attendant) and I wasn’t working at my hospital job, because of my flight attendant job. No one knew what I’d been exposed too? One day, after realizing I had Covid (loss of taste), I was feeling really down. Not wanting to let depression get the best of me, I decided I would purchase a really cool item from FreePeople(one of my favorite stores). When I was ready to checkout I saw the payment options and the Afterpay icon popped up. I realized I wanted to learn more about it. I was thrilled to find out that I could pay in installments! I shrieked with delight! Afterpay has provided me the opportunity to buy some beautiful pieces that I wouldn’t otherwise be able to afford. Now, even though I’m back to flying a full schedule and also back at my partime hospital job, I still take advantage of the freedom that Afterpay gives me. I can pay household expenses and still treat myself at the same time without breaking my budget. I love Afterpay and have told several friends about it too! Thanks for lifting my spirits and helping me to look good even in these trying times! (AND thank you for giving to Black Owned Businesses!).Version: 1.47.3

It’s one stop shopping for me! LOVE!I log onto Afterpay and look up what I need, anything from skin care, makeup, shoes, to clothing and mirrors. I love that I can open the app and the app gives me the stores that have what I’m looking for. All of the merchants are well known. They have all caliber of merchants designer to small startups that have a great product but can’t be found on a normal search online. AND the best part, you can pay your order in payments that are deducted every 2 weeks. But your merchandise get delivered right away. I have spent over $1100 with Afterpay in just a little over a month. I have very sensitive skin, after seeing my dermatologist I had to change my entire face regimen. I’m sure I would have spent the same at other stores websites, but I would have to know exactly what I am looking for and the best place to get it. Department store makeup counters have always seemed out of touch with most of the world. That’s why most of us end up at Sephora or Ulta. I’m a VIB at both. Yet since I found Afterpay, I haven’t made one purchase at either store. This is easy and convenient. The customer service is polite and professional. I would recommend this to my mom. In fact I did. 😁 Honestly, I recommend them to anyone who finds themselves buying a lot of makeup or anyone who doesn’t buy a lot of makeup but uses high end makeup. Here’s your chance to finally finish your complete collection. And they have so much more than makeup. Try it, you’re going to love it..Version: 1.10.3

Real honesTEAOkay. First of all. There are sooooo many apps that claim they will let you pay a little now and you pick your plan of payment payback. There are certain apps out there that don’t tell you they credit check you *secretly* and make you put a deposit down beforehand. And if you’re denied, bye bye deposit. And customer service will claim that all you need to do is put another deposit down and you will be approved. Even though, it says NO WHERE in their description, about section, or anywhere that they accept or deny. Now, this hasn’t happened to me, but I know so many people who try to use *wont name names* those pay later apps and just end up losing money for nothing. And their customer service doesn’t reply. Well, not this app! It’s straight forward. You are not accepted or denied. You just have one chance. And one chance only to pay your bill that’s due. You have options, too. Biweekly and monthly. I absolutely love it. I use Afterpay for morphe and Jeffree Star cosmetics. Never have to miss another launch just because I didn’t have 60+ bucks laying around. No ghost cards. No credit checks. No accept or denied. Just loyalty with paying your bill on time. Awesome if you ask me. I hope they start opening up with more stores like torrid and other places. Would be nice to see! I know torrid uses one of the worst pay later apps around. Hopefully they see that after pay is 100% better. *also, no I am not paid to write this. Seems like no a days you can’t like something and give it a 5 star without someone thinking you’re being paid*.Version: 1.10.4

-2 star.Three critiques: 1. I tend to make it so that my payments fall on paydays. no one is getting paid at five in the morning— have payments come out at more realistic times. ‘cause 5am is not realistic. 2. second critique goes in hand with the first— trying to charge another card attached to my account when the card attached to the order didn’t go through. you’re trying to charge a card at five in the morning— of course the card declined. there’s a reason the order was attached to the card it was attached to. please don’t try to charge a completely unrelated card. 3. better rewards/“gifts”. I make on-time— and most of the time— early payments on my installments often. afterpay can’t offer anything better than subscriptions and money off brands you’ve never heard of and have no interest in exploring? you should be getting discounts off brands users actually purchase from. edit: removed one more star because autopay. there needs to be an option in the settings to turn this off INDEFINITELY. I had a payment due on Tuesday moved to Wednesday because Wednesday is the day I get paid and I wanted to pay with a different card associated with the order. well— afterpay beat me to it and charged the card I didn’t want to pay with. I shouldn’t have to remember to keep turning the toggle off every time I place an order. it would be a lot more helpful if the toggle was just in the overall app settings..Version: 1.105.0

The best to haveI love being part of Afterpay I’ve been with them almost a year now I believe . I had bought something on line and this popped up as a option for me to use so I tried it and was approved at first wasn’t a real big amount like $50 but I was very appriciated for that so I had used it and paid it off like couple or three times and than next thing I looked and it had went up to like $300 than $500 and so on so they really great about increasing ur credit balance and fast too you dnt have to wait 6 months or year to get a increase as long as u use them and pay good few times you’ll see it going up but if I do miss a payment u can loose all so make sure and stay up with them with a reminder even cause they are great to have no interested and before you realize it it’s paid off in full I have use in store purchase and that’s also great I just wish they had more of the in store they only have few that offer that right now but hoping they’ll get more stores to were u can use the in store options never have I had a problem with returns yet either taken care of and fast so of u get a chance to apply for this go for it you won’t regret it it’s the best thing ever I love it and will continue with them as long as they are there .. thanks Afterpay your very appreciated just get some more in store options.Version: 1.105.0

Fantastic Idea Verses CC Debt! This popped up when I was making a purchase online from somewhere else and decided to go ahead and apply… I was immediately approved for $300 of credit line and when I paid that off, I turned around and bought a pair of pants that I’ve been dying to get from White House Black market! My favorite turquoise pants ever that were over $200! It makes it extremely easy to get what you want when you don’t have the funds immediately or don’t want to use your credit at that particular time because there’s no interest and no application fee. I was approved within less of a minute and once I paid off my first two purchases, my credit line is now up to $1200! I saw that someone stated something about insufficient funds when it’s payday for AfterPay and all I can say to that is, if you’re living day by day (week by week/payday to payday) financially, you probably shouldn’t be shopping online anyway… 🤦🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️ This person was complaining about insufficient funds because she couldn’t make her payment on time, again.. don’t play the “Rob Peter to pay Paul” type deal. If you can’t afford to shop, simply do not shop! (They do NOT report to credit bureaus nor will it help your credit score) It’s simply a great way to shop especially right before Christmas! Thank you AfterPay!.Version: 1.43.0

Used to LOVE the options here much more!I love being able to purchase items I need for my kids and being able to break it up into 4 payments. I can budget this into my life so much easier than getting hit with massive charges all at once. I gave the system 3 stars because they have started to block my purchases to 3 and their rewards program seems incredibly skewed. I have never been late or bounced a payment. I have consistently earned the option to not make my first payment and I even have that option turned on, while I understand this doesn’t work for all purchases, it currently does not work for me on any. When I first earned this over a year ago, it worked all the time. I reached out to customer service to see if I needed to do something different or if it was just something not eligible to me. Their reaponse was generically answered by a robot and had nothing to do with my question. I make every payment early and I have only ever moved one payment the entire time and ended up making that payment earlier than anticipated as well. I feel like the promises being made are not actually followed through regardless of your spending limit or your payback track record. I have started to move my business to other platforms that continue to function as promised and follow through with their own rewards program. I wish that Afterpay would fix these issues because this used to be my favorite system to use..Version: 1.60.0

So convenient!I signed up for Afterpay a year ago and was given a nice spending limit. Most buy now pay later apps only start you off with $100-$150 & Afterpay started me off with a lotttt more. Which was a plus. My spending limit is now in the thousands! (With good payment history) Afterpay had a chat system for customer but I no longer see that feature anymore. Instead you have to email customer service through the app, but each time I emailed them or started a ticket, I received a response within 24 hours. Which is also a plus. There’s only two cons in my opinion. 1.) If you don’t make a payment on time you’ll lose your entire spending limit & they’ll start you $0! I had to get a new card & forgot to update it on the app. Afterpay is set up with automatic payments so I didn’t think to check my email. The very next day my spending limit was at $0! I was able to contact customer and they were able to rectify the issue. Although my spending limit wasn’t what I started with, I was completely fine with that because at least it wasn’t at $0 anymore. I did have to work my way back up which didn’t take long at all considering I use this app frequently! 2.) I wish good payment history is reported to the credit bureau! If it was, this app would do wonders with helping people build credit. Especially if a person doesn’t have any!.Version: 1.78.0

Incredibly Genuine No Fee Payment PlanHaving had credit issues in the past that continue to hang on me like a dark cloud and dissuade credit card companies to accept my applications for credit, even businesses that can see from my purchase histories I spend hundreds of dollars on certain products consistently and paid in full. Afterpay for some unknown, Heaven sent reason offered me credit and once I paid on time and consistently for a few higher dollar value purchases, has given me a $2,000 credit line and in all honesty, a sense of financial self respect that no other issuer of monetary credit, even my BANKING INSTITUTION, that knows how much money I have and regularly earn from my job paycheck deposits. I am so grateful to have found Afterpay and be able to feel the sense of self respect that comes with being able to buy certain things that I benefit immensely from bring able to pay off over time, so I can realistically still pay my rent, utilities, heat, internet, etc. and as a hard working single mother still enjoy some of the other things we need or want in life that I otherwise would have to choose between it and the former said expenses. Thank you, Afterpay for existing and for giving me a quality of life that I couldn’t have otherwise in my current financial situation..Version: 1.50.0

Guilt Free ShoppingI started using Afterpay a couple of years ago and I thought there must be a gimmick that I’m just not seeing. But I’m happy to say I was wrong! It’s the best thing or actually even better than a credit card, w/o all the guilt of using a card and then getting that enormous bill each month. I’ve had my share of struggles w/ using cards and getting over my head in debt and learning the hard way that using your card in not the solution for buying something that you just can’t afford. Live and learn. But if you use Afterpay in a disciplined way it can literally change your life and your relationship w/ money. The key is to link your debit card to Afterpay NOT your credit card. And start small. Set a hard limit for your self when using Afterpay. For example when I first started using this way to pay I wouldn’t spend more than $100-$125 per transaction knowing that I’ll owe about $30 at the time of purchase and then $30 will be debited out of my bank account every two weeks until the total is paid off. Almost everyone can afford to spend $30 on themselves every two weeks! But be careful and aware that if you make 3 transactions at one time you’ll owe about $90 every two weeks. The beauty of this is that after 100 on-time payments I no longer pay for the first payment at the time of the purchase, the payment plan begins in two weeks! It’s one of the perks of being a loyal customer. I can literally order two sizes of whatever I’m interested in, get the merchandise, try it on and return part of or everything before I even make my first payment! For us shopaholics this is our fix! But a disciplined, healthy fix :) If you’re in the fence of trying this service, don’t be. You’ll love it!.Version: 1.51.0

Mostly Good But Flaws Need FixingI really like Afterpay- most of the time that is. I like that after you do business with them for awhile, you don’t have to pay anything until 2 weeks down the road. I also like that I have found some great mom and pop shops through this app. The thing I don’t like- and this is aggravating- is that when shopping with certain stores, the app will not permit you to use certain discounts or coupons towards your purchase. For example, I am not permitted to use my accumulated rewards at Ulta to reduce the cost of my purchase. (I am a diamond member and my rewards are significant.) The other day, I did some shopping for birthday gifts through Ulta. I had over 20 items in my cart. Upon trying to checkout, I kept getting an error message that Afterpay does not permit me to use them to pay for certain items in my cart. (It didn’t tell me which ones they did not approve of.). I got tired of trying to guess, so I chatted online with an Ulta rep who researched my cart. He told me Afterpay would not permit me to purchase two large sample packs of beauty items in my cart. (I specifically wanted these items to include in a birthday basket for my daughter-in-law.). I have no clue as to why Afterpay puts limits on what we can buy. It shouldn’t. They lost my business on this sale. I paid using another method as I really wanted those sample packs. (We aren’t talking about little things, here. The sample packs contained several beauty items- many full-sized- from different companies.). Afterpay, please fix your way of doing business, or you will lose my business..Version: 1.32.0

AwesomeWell I’m ashamed to say I don’t have the best credit and after trying many “split payment” apps and getting the runaround and a headache I was skeptical to download Afterpay. I finally did and everything about this service is perfect for me. Easy to use (had one setback the first time I tried to use it in store which was partially my fault, but I got in touch with customer service and once again i was impressed. Maybe my standards are too low but they walked me through it perfectly and now it works flawlessly. They also approved me for a $1000 limit and allowed me to use my TurboTax Visa debit card, which is my main debit card/ account, as a payment option when every other split payment app uses Plaid which doesn’t recognize GreenDot as a real bank. I will continue to use Afterpay for as long as I can and anyone I think could benefit from it. The only things close to “cons” about Afterpay is the amount of places ( there are lots) where you can use it but that’s not Afterpays fault and that you can only have 2 orders open at a time. Once again that’s not really worth complaining about and probably helps in the long run since you don’t have too many payments to make on different days. I wish every store accepted Afterpay. It’s AMAZING!! Highly recommend!!!.Version: 1.50.0

I LOVE AFTERPAY!Such a great app and a great idea! I have used other 4 payment apps like this and they arent bad either, but afterpay is my favorite because of the pulse rewards! It motivates me to pay off my payments earlier so I can get the points towards my 30 purchases so I can get the extras like no first payment when I order! I love the deals and discounts I can get also. They are always showing you what stores are having sales or really good percent off deals! There is a great selection of name brand stores as well as stores I have never heard from before and would have never known about if it wasnt for this app. Small businesses need our help more then ever right now and this is a great way to do that! There is also an in-store payment option for some of the places as well!!! The app is great design wise too, so easy to navigate and has it all broken down for me so I know what I have to pay and what is paid off etc. It also makes it super easy to make my bi weekly payments with automatic payments or if I want to pay it off early I can do that with just a click of a button and its done! They send you a reminder email a few days before your payments due so you never forget! I probably spend way to much money using this app but hey, you only live once!.Version: 1.47.3

Why Remove Perks Customers Worked So Hard For?!?!I’ve had this app for a few years now and use it more than Affirm, Klarna, etc. One of the main reasons was because once you hit Mint Status, there is no down payment up front. Then barely even a month’s notice (I didn’t find out until I had to pay the first payment all of a sudden) they decided they were taking that away and have given us NO information about what the new rewards and incentive program is going to be like. The thing that set Afterpay apart from it’s biggest competitors was the Mint Status rewards - the not having to make that first payment until 2 weeks after purchase. They also took away half of times you can move your pay date. Was 6 and now it’s 3. I never had to use it, but it’s such a great option if something happens. I was Mint for like 2 years. It reset (and honestly didn’t get a good reason imo) but I got up there quick again - the holidays. So, Afterpay - what sets you apart now? If you take a rewards program away, you need to start a new one the day after you take one away - and that hasn’t even begun yet! That in itself is a terrible business move. If there’s a new one - I haven’t seen the info. The rewards and incentives program better have Mint rewards back in someway (or be better somehow) or the amount of customers you lose will be astounding. Most of the customers use Afterpay for those Mint Status rewards. All of your customers can just use one of the other apps because they are the same now. Nothing special at this time. The only reason for the 3 stars is because it is just an average app now. Not terrible or bad…just good..Version: 1.92.0

Nothing but the best..I started out with QuadPay way before I even knew there was an afterpay and I thought it was a cool concept. However it was limited and the spending amount were pretty low so even thought it was cool it really wasn’t very useful. Then when I seen afterpay I figured it would be the same just another brand name in competition but I was happily mistaken. They have so many features like in store shopping , delaying a payment if you need extra time, and they offer a much higher credit limit and the more you make on time payments the more credit they give you, in a very fair amount of time. Even though I thought the store selection rather limited at first they have really expanded and even thought other apps may have some of the bigger brand names, what good are they when you can’t spend more then a couple hundred dollars? There really isn’t anything you can’t find in their store selection and I have never had an issue with their service. Since just last month my credit limit doubled after my holiday usage and it’s so great to have when I need to get my son some new clothing , shoes, or household essentials - even things like make up , perfume , bedding, and the list goes on. In a world where income is limited and times are rough with Ovid it’s nice to have a service that’s gives you time interest free to pay off your shopping orders so you don’t have to worry about getting things you may need or want when you need to buy them. I highly recommend this app over any of the others you might see. Easy to get started and credit isn’t an issue as long as you pay your payments on time they will give you credit. Thank you , from your satisfied customer !.Version: 1.26.0

ConvenientI’ve been with afterpay since the app launched. Years now, and I love them. Can’t speak anything other than positive. When I first joined shortly afterwards I fell on some super hard times and went through an ugly divorce. I wasn’t able to make some payments on some things I had purchased. Yes, afterpay froze my account and yes penalized me from using the app after I was able to pay off the debt however, they gave me another chance. Since they allowed me back to their good graces, I have NEVER missed a payment, they increased my spending amount and I’m at the point where I can purchase and don’t have to pay until two weeks later. What I’m getting at is that they work with the consumer. They could’ve just banned me completely, but no, they gave me another shot and I’ve been solid with them ever since. It’s super convenient for me to be able to purchase for my kids and pay in payments. It’s actually amazing and has helped me get what I need for my children without having to dump big bucks right than and there in one shot. But, as a consumer, be careful!!! Having access to the amount that your approved to spend can be so tempting and quick to rack up on!! I’ve learned that and am trying not to get myself in trouble lol!! In moderation from now on once I pay down my debt with afterpay!! It’s very hard and very tempting and you can easily climb up to ur allotted amount. If I had to say anything negative about afterpay it’d be the in store return to Aerie’s and American Eagle Outfitters. It’s hard to go return in store and have it go directly to afterpay. Instead, the store refunds your debit card and so it can get tricky. I’d really love to see improvements for the return (in store) process for that specific retailer. PLEASE FIX IT AFTERPAY!!!!!.Version: 1.55.0

Not just for people on a budget!I use Afterpay to space out my payments so that it doesn’t all hit my credit cards at once, helping me to maintain low utilization on my cards when my statements are reported, because I can pay the smaller payments right back off every time I get paid. I like using it when I know my statement is about to come out, but I need to buy something right away, because my cards won’t show high usage since I’m sometimes not even charged the first payment until 2 weeks after my purchase! You have to be smart and make these payment plans work for you! Even if I accidentally missed a payment by a few days in the past, once I paid it off, my spending limit didn’t take long to shoot right back up. There’s only one pretty major thing I’ve recently been turned off by with AP. For the past couple of years, I’ve built a rapport and higher spending limit with them since I almost always use Afterpay anywhere it’s accepted. Lately they’re now not letting me use my account at some participating stores and declining the purchases for unexplained reasons even when I have plenty of spending credit available. But other than that, if you’re a smart shopper and not just using this to spend what you don’t have, it’s great !.Version: 1.49.1

Great company terrible customer serviceI started using Afterpay in the second half of 2023. I really did appreciate it and since I was using it so often, my rank did grow exponentially although during the holiday season, I was having a little bit trouble with my baking information I’ve tried to get in contact so I don’t have a late payment but the second, my payment was late they took all the money that I had for the four installment pay. I message customer service three days ahead of time that my card was not working and I wanted to change it recently. I’ve had another issue and I’ve been on delivered for the past six days, I don’t understand how you expect to run a company and then once the customer makes one mistake treat them so terribly I’m still not able to change my card and to be honest after I’m done paying all my debts, I’m gonna delete the app because this is ridiculous and a bad habit so if you’re reading this, I wouldn’t recommend Afterpay unless you 100% need it. Don’t be using it for every day needs only for something that you really need at this point in time to be honest if you really don’t have it, you shouldn’t be spending it point blank, I appreciate it my time with Afterpay but I think it’s time for me to start spending based on what I have and what I have.Version: 1.89.0

Great App and it Sure comes in Handy!!!I don’t have anything bad to say about Afterpay, but I do have a suggestion. First let say that Afterpay is very helpful, specially to those with less than satisfactory credit. It takes a chance on us and give us an opportunity that many others have denied. If you’re getting something for yourself, a loved one, or maybe a last minute gift for a friend or coworker. It really doesn’t matter because they have a variety of stores from online to in store shopping. Just pay your first out of four payments up front. There is not interest or hidden fees, all you have to do is pay on time. You can even purchase gift cards, though they are limited. I am very happy with Afterpay. My only suggestion would be to extend the pay in 4, to pay in 6, or even pay in 8. This could be done for customers that have had a couple of pay in 4 contracts completed and have demonstrated that they are trustworthy to pay what they borrow back. Give them that as an incentive for their timely payments. It would help with every single type of purchases, especially big ones and/or multiple ones. In all, thank you Afterpay, you’re still awesome..Version: 1.55.0

Absolutely Love AfterPayI really love using After Pay! After only four purchases I was able to raise my limit to over $1000. Unfortunately I made the mistake of not updating my debit card info after needing a new one due to misplacing my old own. Because of this oversight I was about 4-5 days late on a payment and my limit was significantly decreased. It was my first/only/last late payment and my spending amount was still dropped by over $800. I do understand that this is 100% my fault and the entire service is based on the consumers ability to make on time payments. This was over a few months ago now and I’ve yet to use After Pay for any purchases since. The decrease in my spending limit has absolutely nothing to do with the fact I haven’t used Afterpay for any of my shopping though. I just thought I would share the consequence of a late payment for any other users. If anyone ever has a change in their billing, make sure you change your info on your Afterpay account so you don’t end up with an accidental late payment. I do love Afterpay though! Not because it allows me to buy things I otherwise wouldn’t be able to afford. I never buy things I can’t afford to pay for outright. I love it because there are times when I want something but I won’t feel like spending “X” amount of money at the moment lol. Breaking up any “X” amount into fourths though... well let’s just say I’ve bought many of items I otherwise wouldn’t have because of Afterpay and I’ve never regretted a single one. I’m actually so happy I purchased all my items and that I was able to do so with out forking out what would have been hundreds of dollars at once. A hundred or so bucks every two weeks makes those larger purchases not seem so large. And I absolutely LOVE that! I don’t know who wouldn’t. I recommend trying Afterpay to those of you who haven’t!.Version: 1.68.0

Simple. Secure. Endless Choices.“This app was ideal for me not only because I was working as a temp at the time I came across it so being able to pay on a certain date and only have to put the first payment down I knew when I needed to work to pay for that purchase and they were very generous with credit, the stores are endless from small local/national businesses to Big Box to CVS/Convenience!! & even LUXE like my Personal Fave Alex and Ani, Pandora, SKETCHERS & MORE! Earn Cash Back, Rewards Increase by Stacking Eligible Coupons, Free Delivery Flash Sales by Tier the more you use it how much $ complete the four payments NO INTEREST pay it in 1-2-3-4 payments you choose. Go for the Highest Tiers to have access to extra rewards coupons and special deals based off your views. Do not turn away if you were rejected from one of the other type of four payment companies unlike those companies where they check your credit I have an income that is regular and I should not have been refused by affirm or sezzle up I don’t even think that exists anymore but affirm is and ready to pull your credit. Oh🙄 well DUH MY POINT IS THAT AFTERPAY - NO CREDIT CHECK & NO INTEREST!!!!!.” Kaitlyn G..Version: 1.55.0

Great Option! After Pay is an excellent option for financing big or small purchases. After pay does not hit you with a bunch interest or gouging fees for using their service. You also have the option to pay in full. I’m finding I prefer using AfterPay over my credit cards. I watch my credit report and I discovered that Credit Reporting agencies ie Experian, TransUnion report negatively if you charge 1$ over half of your balance on your credit cards. That’s insane and very oppressive and controlling. As long as I’m current and pay on time should be what counts. Plus I pay my total balance monthly. I highly recommend After Pay. There are some similar companies like After Pay but their methods and how their service is managed is frustrating. You can’t get a live person to help you with issues. They are not as organized with reminders and alerts like After Pay. I’ve mainly used After Pay for small things because I don’t want to use my credit cards but I recently purchased a home and will be using it for more substantial items. After Pay has been a good thing for me and I highly recommend!.Version: 1.55.0

Sooooo Amazing especially when on a budgetAfter pay is an amazing way to pay as you go! Sometimes I just can’t make the payment all at once, whether it be the kids needed something, a new bill or even prices going up….. so once I found out about after pay I started using it where I could to help spread out some of my payments until the next pay day or at least until I was able to make a little extra side money! You always want to make sure you never miss a payment! It is still very a bill that needs to be payed even after you receive the products! And I’m sure it will very much go on your credit if you don’t! And nobody wants that. It’s convenient for me in this season of my life where I took a big pay cut! You can even reach certain tiers when paying your bill on time and with that earn rewards! So you save money, you get the product to you before you fully pay it off, you earns rewards and you can use it for many of your popular places in store or online; I mean who would want to try and utilize this option 🙌🏽! Thank you 🙏 Afterpay, for even being an option!.Version: 1.55.0

My Go To App for Almost All Online Shopping!I’m a big online shopper and I’m unfortunately now in a position where our credit has taken a huge hit due to a cancer diagnosis that not only stopped me from doing my part-time work from home selling on various resale apps, but my husband has always had perfect credit until my diagnosis and then he wasn’t able to work since he’s been taking care of me and taking me to all of my doctor appointments and treatments so Afterpay has been just perfect for me. I am now back to working part-time on Poshmark and that means a lot of waiting for sales to be shipped and accepted before my funds are available so I’m still able to shop and buy things I need and also things I want for my kids and grand children. And if I have a great week or month on Poshmark, I usually go ahead and just pay off all of my balances and I never have to worry about having the full amount to buy something for my kids anymore and I can split it into 4 payments. And since I’ve consistently paid on time, outside of once being 1 day late, my available balance just keeps going up. And they have so many incentives as well it’s my favorite app and my son, who makes a ton of money working at the studios, recently told me he uses Afterpay for almost all of his online purchases which kind of surprised me since he has perfect credit and makes a lot of money but it just goes to show you just how popular this app is. And for whatever reason, I wasn’t approved for some of the other similar apps and that’s fine with me because I just love Afterpay! I really hope they will eventually report to the credit agencies but my personal credit isn’t really that bad outside of my medical bills so my credit should be pretty good within about a year anyway so now we’re going to be using my credit instead of my husband’s. Thank you Afterpay!! I would recommend this app to everyone!!.Version: 1.57.0

Afterpay cardLove shopping on the app.. got super excited about an email I received for the card (I’m in Canada) No option what so ever for me to use the card at my local stores, super disappointed..please fix this!! Sincerely- loyal customer.Version: 1.47.3

Was good but stopped workingI use afterpay weekly love it until this week the gift card option stopped working when. You hit the continue button you can’t when purchasing a gift card and there are no human agents to help customer service blows! Fix your app.Version: 1.125.0

Don’t miss paymentsThe overall app is great! My only issue with the app is the extremely drop in credit if you miss one payment (even if it is only 24hours late, and you pay ahead of the bill date). For example, you start off with $600 when you start on the app; the credit decrease is by $550 if you miss ONE payment (regardless on how late the payment is, in my case 24hours late) and take MONTHS to rebuild it back up to $600..Version: 1.107.0

Love the appI’m Canadian. I haven’t tried to pay in store like some others. However I love the app. I haven’t had any problems with it at all. I love to be able to get things I really want and pay in, instalments. I can’t wait to see how much more it improves in time..Version: 1.109.0

Love the app however…I love the app however it doesn’t take Visa Debit Prepaid and my bank’s debit cards. I hope in the next update it would take prepaid cards and bank (interac) debit cards as I don’t want to use my credit card too often..Version: 1.62.0

DisappointedThey use to have Lego gift cards I bought a few and paid them off and got myself a good balance but now they have taken the gift cards away and you can no longer buy then.Version: 1.128.1

DecentIt is a handy little app. If you don’t pay, you don’t get to buy. It’ll drop your limit down, too. If you’re mindful and diligent with that, your limit increases. I’ve never had to use customer service so I can’t speak on that, and I’ve never had issues as others have outlined. I’ve used this for probably 3-4 years now..Version: 1.137.0

Bring back featuresBeen using for a year and never had any problems with payments or security but i’m disappointed you guys got rid of the favourite / budget feature..Version: 1.127.0

Fantastic optionSome stores such as H&M don’t have use of Afterpay for their site. However, I purchased a gift card from Afterpay to use on H&M. It worked and was so quick. They had a crazy sale and free shipping so I didn’t want to wait to order my son clothes but could still use the “pay in four” option. Afterpay always works. Never issues. I’ve had issues with other apps that will take the money, and say the order didn’t go through, then I when to fight for a week or two to get refunded for the payment it did take. No issues with Afterpay. Kids clothes are expensive and I like the flexibility of Afterpay.Version: 1.114.0

Amazing option!Very easy fast and pretty wow! I can’t pay full price but the biweekly option it’s awesome! I can get anything I can afford! Love it.Version: 1.111.0
