RUN AS FAST AS YOU can away!!I have used this app for over a year. I have a Uk bank. I have a Uk phone number. I have Uk address. Yet some how they have decided to not accept visa even though they have it not stated anywhere. I find it interesting once I made £88 an try to withdraw it to my account and that doesn’t work. So I figured fine I will just use my balance of £88 to buy family stuff. They no longer took my card. I had wasted of the course of several days talking to several different “people” one even suggested to check my bank. Then one finally said oh “we stopped accepting visa.” Do not waste your time or do. I mean if that sounds like a fun time. I had made an Apple Pay account, a PayPal account. I even went so far as sending a picture of my passport to show who I was and I passed their “background check.” Guys run listen to the reviews I wasted a year of my life on this site. If you don’t want to waste hours of your life selling stuff. I even had a highly rated profile based on y sales. How much more can I say. At this point this is cathartic for me to rant about how much I loath this company. What’s worse is I had even expressed to coworkers how much I was selling and loved . DisgustingIf I could give this god awful app 0 stars I would in a heartbeat. I was so excited to use this app in order to clean the clothing clutter out of my room in a fast and efficient way while getting money back with no seller fees. Everything was going great until they decided to BLOCK me PERMANENTLY for selling an item I made an innocent mistake of listing as a “jaded London inspired” Ali express dress. I honestly had no idea that they would do this because every other clothing resale platform doesn’t seem to have issues with people noting knockoff or cheaper items as similar to brand name pieces. When I tried to reach out to customer services apologizing for my innocent mistake and that I would never make it again, they simply said they could not unblock me because the app is primarily run by AI and non human servers, so it’s not reversible unless the item is recognized as “authentic” by a LITERAL NON-SENTIENT ROBOT. I cannot log in without a phone number, and they have been obviously now been programmed to automatically block any account making or login attempts with my phone number, and obviously I can’t make an entire new phone number just to make a whole new Vinted account.

Unable to see my account postingsI have been on Vinted for I would guess around five possibly six years and have loved it but for the past few days for some reason, I cannot see my closet any of the clothes in my closet I can’t adjust prices I can’t see what I’m posting I get messages etc. etc. however after going through many automated messages telling me what to try to look for to fix I had done all that and it wasn’t any of those problems. I check the iOS my phone has been updated. I checked chrome Safari everything signed everything’s fine. So Many Fake/Scam AccountsThere are so many accounts that are "scams". the pictures are obviously stolen, the accounts themselves have no reviews but the clothing/items listed are insanely desirable. i bought a purse a few months ago and absolutely loved it. i needed a new purse and decided to shop with vinted again, however this time it was much different, absolutely no communication with the seller or updates. i work from 6:30-6:30 pretty much everyday and do not have time to check my phone all day to see where the package is, when i checked the only update showed it was delivered and denied. which i found odd because it would not have been denied at my address or in my neighborhood period. I got off early from work the day after so i went to the post office and they showed me a picture of the package and it was the size of a average book, mind you i ordered a large purse. not only was the size concerning, the address was no where near me, the only thing right was the two first numbers. i was blocked by the user and the only resolution that is available is with the seller. i went to my bank to dispute, but it is extremely upsetting. it is astonishing that the only "solution" is with the seller but i am blocked. Bad serviceI have been selling on here for months with no problem and then all of a sudden they started removing my bumped items. At first it was for it being ‘dangerous’ and so I tried to contact the app and got no luck. Then it was a “copyright violation” they said that I got my image from the internet instead of taking it myself. I contacted them because I did take it myself and instead of helping they told me if they have to keep deleting my items that they will block my account. After that I contemplated switching apps but decided to give Vinted another chance. I spotlighted my closet to give it a try since my sells were going down. The next day I get a message saying that I was selling with the intent of making a steady income. I tried contacting them and got the same message as before. Could be greatI have sold and bought on Vinted and both have been mostly a great experience. However, if you’re selling there are some issues that need to be worked out. First 2 items I sold were received by my buyer after 12 days. The next one was 14 days. Which I expected around 12 days being shipped overseas. I now have 6 items that I sold, a few of them over 14 days sitting in limbo. All of them have been marked “shipping taking longer than expected” One was finally marked delivered and picked up today. And now I have to wait to be rated which is another 3 days to get paid for the item I sold. The others “taking longer” are given an extra few weeks so thats 5 weeks of waiting for your item to arrive to your buyer and waiting to receive payment. Waiting 3 weeks to receive payment is just way too long, 5 weeks is unacceptable. I understand shipping overseas takes time but that’s too long. For that reason I’m probably not going to post anymore items for sale. They have a great shipping discount, good customer service from what I received and a great platform. Favorite AppHonestly, I never write reviews but I love Vinted so much, I thought I should share my experience. I’ve used a variety of alls but none of them made it so easy to shop and find what i need. My favorite aspect is their image search feature, not only does it allow you to search for products like the pictures, but it allows you to categorize the searches between brands, sizes and more, which make it significantly easier to find what you need. It may sound like no big deal but I have not stumbled across another app like it. I’ve also personally found prices to be so much cheaper than other apps. Some other apps take large royalties from your sales but Vinted does not. This allows the seller to make more while the buyer not having to pay more. Honestly coming from someone who loves shopping, this app has it all since they listen to the people who use it. Great Customer service after initial banWas banned initially unfairly without given a chance to even explain what happened. After appealing to customer service and finding someone other than a AI being to speak with, I got the issue resolved and have had a great experience selling on the site. The customer service agent was understanding of my appeal and unfroze my account and let me start selling on the platform. Being banned after posting only 1 post is kinda harsh without even a warning but it’s their rules.
Make sure you read all the selling guidelines thoroughly and follow them. But they are great for sellers especially not taking any of your money like a lot of the other platforms. So far I love it and the people I’ve talked to also love the concept of not getting robbed by so many selling fees. Can’t say enough about the no selling fees it’s amazing. Long term user…But lots of BUTS!So I’ve been using this app for over 7 years, first resell app I’ve sold from. I love that they don’t take out anything from your sales, decent shipping prices, let you add as many hashtags as you want and create/reserve bundles.
What I absolutely hate about this app is that at any given time if they feel that you “violated” any of their terms they’ll just delete your post, so many times I’ve uploaded an item (beauty specifically they tend to do this the most on) and they’ll just delete it even though the item isn’t opened or swatched and then you end up seeing someone post the same exact item with same descriptions but their post won’t get deleted. I also had a time where a Coach wristlet was deleted just because they thought it was imitation when it was authentic. Contacting support when they do this is pointless because once they delete your item you can’t create a help ticket about it to even state your case on the matter. Great app if you can get over some annoying partsAs someone based in the US, I believe I have had less issues than those based in other countries. I like the app, it’s easy to navigate once you get the hang of it and it’s VERY cheap (I have no idea what makes everyone on here sell their stuff for <5 but I am not complaining).
My suggestions:
1. Please please please give us the ability to filter on individual sellers’ page the same way we can on the standard search. Or at the very least, include a filter for size. “Category” and “Sort by” are helpful but searching through 300+ items that aren’t in my size is very inconvenient.
2. Let us switch our locations. I don’t know why we can’t. International shipping can be a hassle but that’s up for the buyer and seller to risk. The majority of Vinted’s users seem to be based in Europe and I’m not sure how it works over there, but limiting users to just one country is a major hinderance.
3. Bundles are cool, I just wish I could see how much an offer would cost without it being sent out to the seller, because it’s a waste of both of our times. Not expecting much, just thought I’d mention it.
Overall, Vinted is really good (at least on the buying end) and I highly recommend it, I just wish it was a tad bit more accommodating.

OkayI’ve been on the app a few months only gotten one sale and that’s fine but my issue is I’ve received TONS of offers on items only for buyers to not pay once I’ve accepted. Vinted needs to hold buyers accountable and force them to payout if they’ve sent the offer because a lot of them aren’t serious and waste sellers time. I’ve had to block so many people because they constantly send offers with no purchase. That just isn’t fair to the seller. They need to change this and make it fair for the people selling on the platform. So I would not recommend this app due to low sales (platform barely gets any traction) and not holding buyers accountable for sending a bunch of offers with no intent to pay. Its OKUpdated Review: very simplistic app, good for new people with little experience. No seller fees are ok, but you lose useful features because of this.
Areas for improvement:
1. No bulk features. Ie: price drop, offers
2. Offers from buyers are not binding. A buyer can just make 10 offers to 10 different sellers and not buy anything. This is a waste of sellers time. Offers also have no expiration date like other platforms whose offers expire in 24 hours.
3. AI/bots are overly sensitive & offended by everything. A simple mistake when uploading a new item can cause your account to be flagged or banned. Appealing isn’t a simple process (this feels like it was by design as this was an issue ive had for several years with them. It also is what makes this the most difficult platform to use).
4. You are only allowed to maintain listings via their app/website. While other platforms welcome inventory management apps like Vendoo, Vinted will flag your account, prevent listings from being uploaded & not allow sales to be reported back. For sellers with large inventory & cross post this is a huge loss for sellers, and triples the time to maintain their inventory not to much leaves room for inaccurate inventory.

Poor customer supportThere are a number of aspects of Vinted that I like on the selling side, but unfortunately customer support leaves a lot to be desired. I am unable to spotlight my closet or bump my items because it keeps saying my credit card is not authorized. There is enough money in the account and it has been entered correctly. I have been having this issue for weeks and have contacted Vinted several times but it has not been resolved. The last person I spoke to told me to verify my identity by uploading an ID to a link they sent me, but there was no where to upload the ID. When I explained this, they said “just follow the process on the website” even though there was no process.
They then resolved the ticket even though the issue was not resolved.
It’s strange that they are making it so difficult for me to essentially purchase a product from them. I was able to bump a couple of items the first week I had my account, but then this started happening and like I said, I’ve tried numerous times in the past month to get it resolved to no avail. They are quick to flag an item if your photo doesn’t satisfy the algorithm yet they aren’t there to help with technical issues. With Depop (one of their competitors), customer service can be tricky to reach but at least they respond to Facebook messages. I thought it was bad when Depop took a week to fix a problem I was having, but Vinted has taken a month..BeckydeeeeVersion: 22.29.2
Worst customer service I’ve experienced in my life, not being dramaticThe customer service is the most incompetent and worthless disaster I’ve quite literally ever seen in a company. I honestly don’t know why they pay them because even ai could do better and I hate ai! Always some copy and pasted response that has extremely little (if literally anything at all) to do with what I actually asked about, or an answer to a question I didn’t ask and vice versa…no answers or info at ALL about major happenings within the site, such as a 1.5 month-long $1 shipping promo where I wrote in three different times hoping to get a different agent who knew it even existed in the first place, and failing each time. God forbid you end up actually having a real monetary issue with this company. I swear I’ve had instances where I start to believe they’re raigebaiting me on purpose because it is truly that bad. I’ve also sincerely been wondering if after clearly outsourcing their customer service to India, that they’re probably paying them dirt cheap wages which is why they outsourced to begin with, and then they’re not actually checking their employee’s work every now and again to make sure they’re doing the job correctly…so it’s just like the same 5-6 guys collecting payments while not actually working. *Thats* how bad it is. Bots and Scammers Galore!A few weeks ago, I found this beautiful looking long winter coat for a about 41$. When I was following the parcel tracking, I saw that it had apparently arrived, but when I looked around for the package, I couldn’t find it anywhere. A few weeks pass and I finally check Vinted again to browse, only to find that they refunded me a few days from when my package went missing. At first, I thought it was odd and then I noticed the seller had blocked me and, lo and behold, had several reviews saying they were a scammer.
That was several weeks ago and they still haven’t found a way to clean up this mess. Boys and scammers still run around freely, posting fake items on the site. I gave it two stars only because they did give me a refund, but we should be able to trust Vinted to verify that these folks aren’t scamming buyers. It’s just a really unpleasant experience and makes me not want to use it again. Plus I wasn’t refunded for shipping, so I ended up losing a solid 10+ dollars after shipping and buyers protection.
Not to be accusatory, but it just feeling like they have no motivation reason to take down the bots and scammers since they do get some money out of it. Lack of communicationThe lack of user support is horrible. All you get is automated messages and then you are ignored. Their artificial intelligence mistakes items for something they are not, such as a candle holder. You get a message in regards to your listening being deleted and prohibited, they send u a list of items that are ok to sell and it will list candle holder as an ok item. You appeal the decision and get yet another automatic response with a persons name on the bottom stating it’s a prohibited item. Totally disregarding the fact it’s a picture of candle holders, u state it’s a candle holder and then they call u a liar and delete it. The id verification is a scam. They ask you to up load your drivers license, they verify it with a confirmation message stating it’s successful . Then two weeks later they send you a message banding your ability to withdraw your money from your wallet due to not verifying your identity. You message them and they send you automatic reply stating you didn’t verify your identity correctly. If that’s the case then why send a confirmation message saying it’s successful. To me it seems like they are scamming people and selling the personal information on the black market if they are continuing to ask for your id and social security number. I used to love this app. Now I’m going to contact lifelock and make sure they aren’t stealing my identity. Refuses to address scammersAfter taking a year away from vinted due to their automated system that reviews reports refusing to recognize obvious scammers, I decided to give the app another try and reported more of the scam listings I saw. These listings are for high-value electronic items like iPhones, Macbooks, Nintendo switches, PS5s, etc. listed at very low prices. The description will instruct people to text a phone number to have the items given away for free for a fake reason. Common reasons include their son dying and them wanting to get rid of their son’s stuff quickly due to grief, or them moving and needing to get rid of stuff quickly. This is obviously a scam, which violates vinted’s guidelines, but specifically violates vinted’s rule about not taking business off-app. I see about 20 of these listings from just scrolling through my recommended feed, will report all of them, and about 4 of them will actually get taken down. The poor-quality AI that reviews these reports will mark the other 16 as perfectly fine. Vinted clearly doesn’t care about their users if they are willing to let them get scammed like this. They do not deserve our business if they don’t respect us. These resale apps just get lazier and lazier with letting AI do a poor job at everything. Terrible customer serviceI’ve lost so much money to vinted. I had a seller suspend their order because they sent me the wrong item. We tried to resolve the issue ourselves as she was trying to get my item back from the other girl she accidentally shipped it to(which go out surprise that girl decided to not ship it back. Love that for us) and I had already shipped back the wrong item that was sent to me. It’s be approximately 20 days and nothing has been resolved and vinted immediately released those funds to the seller without the issue having been resolved. When I asked for help about my money that I just lost they told me it was basically my fault for not clicking the “everything is not okay button” within the two day period. The reason why I didn’t is because the seller had already suspended the order and there wasn’t a BUTTON TO PRESS. The seller wants to refund me the full amount but vinted refused. They’re customer service is terrible. They give attitude and on top of all this they also keep deleting my posts saying it’s not allowed and I’m using pictures from outside sources. Please beware of monster high skullector resellersSo I made the mistake of buying an elvira skullector doll for $80 since that’s the cheapest I could find her secondhand atm, but that should’ve been a red flag- but I was too hopeful to see it. i thought I was actually going to receive it because I know people purposely price cheaper on here than other resale sites. man was I wrong. first my package was returned to the seller due to “addressee not being found” even though I used my correct address that I’ve used for many orders. I then asked the seller to relist because I believed it was an error on the post office’s side, but they we’re probably trying to protect me. when they relisted and shipped, what I got was not elvira, but some stupid halfway opens box with c0vid protectors!!!!! wish usps would’ve resent again. now the seller is unresponsive and I can’t get my refund unless I PAY for the reshipment! Very lacking compared to other selling appsThe one thing Vinted has going for them is that seller’s don’t have to lose a chunk of their money when making a sale. Thing is I’ve never been able to take advantage of this! Been on here for maybe 5 years now and my only sale was technically a trade between me and another seller that actually started on Poshmark and moved to Vinted because they advertised that they DO help facilitate trades! This ended up not being true. When trying to get back our money by following their “instructions” for trading Vinted just told both of us “oh, no you don’t actually get your money back. Consider what y’all paid as insurance to each other in case it was unsuccessful.” Wish y’all would have said that in the guide! Items don’t seem to be able to sell well on here otherwise. When creating a listing, they’re always suggesting I list everything for no more than $5. Are you kidding? I’m not going to go through videotaping an item, packing it, and mailing it for 5 measly bucks. This is a selling app, not a flea market or Goodwill. To make things worse, they have all these unnecessary rules that make it hard to craft an appealing listing. Big one: “you can’t use stock photos off the internet” even though **every other selling app lets you do that**. It helps give your listing a more clean and appealing appearance to potential shoppers and allows them to see the item modeled on a mannequin or somebody. I can’t model everything in my closet because it doesn’t fit (which is why I’m selling it, duh) so being able to put the company’s stock photos would really help! Vinted Is Not What They First Appear To BeVinted appears to be a great little app for selling personal items, non-commercial and non-retail. It seemed easy at first. But after listing about 5 items, I sold 1 item, a t-shirt. I had a buyer. There was a link to print a shipping label. But when I pressed the link to get the shipping label, the app required my SSN and birthdate. This was after setting up payment method directly to my bank account. Now they want me to setup a Vinted Wallet supported by a third-party PSP (payment service provider). They use Ayden,N.V., a Dutch financial services company. Vinted is a Lithuanian company headquartered in Vilnius. It has very poor customer service. I placed a help ticket/email into their system. I got an automated message saying I will hear back in 48hrs. I don't trust this company. They have my name, address, bank account and want my SSN and birthdate without explanation or prior notification. Warning alarms went off. Firstly, they are deceptive in their practices. Secondly, they ask for too much information.
Thirdly, they wait to sale-jack your transaction until you and the buyer are waiting to ship the item. They must prepare sellers, provide trusted speedy customer service, have a trusted escrow-like company or in-house financing and make direct deposits to banks in a timely manner. There is no phone support. If you don’t mind risking your money, poor customer service response, no real seller or buyer protection, and possible counterfeit products, this might be the site for you..Black♦♦♦Version: 23.31.0

The message states that my listings don’t fall under their ‘Catalog rules’ & that I used stock photos or photos from the internet that aren’t mine. Everything I had listed is mine! All the beauty products are brand new & factory sealed. Every photo I had in my listings are also MINE! They’re not stock photos or photos I stole from the internet. I take time on my listings & try to make them as nice & detailed as I can then without a warning Vinted carelessly deletes all of them without even messaging me & given me a chance to edit/change them! I’ve gone through & checked everything in their ‘catalog rules’ that may be a possibility of why my listings were deleted & not 1 of them applies to my items. I don’t work or advertise for anyone, I don’t have multiple or bulk amounts of anything either. My listings include items, such as things I got for my bday or as a gift, or that I’ve had sitting around my house & I need to declutter before we move, etc. They’re not illegal, offensive, stolen, counterfeit. They’ve accused me of either using stock photos, photos from the internet, selling fake or illegal items, selling something that doesn’t belong to me, selling beauty items that aren’t brand new, using a shared family account, selling items in bulk, working for or promoting a business, etc. U literally can’t sell anything!! Deleting the appThe one positive thing I can say about this app is I do actually like that the fees are paid for by the buyer and not the seller, which to me makes the most logical sense. So my one star can be attributed to that.
However, after a month of buying items on vinted suddenly my card is not being accepted. I’ve deleted and tried to reauthorize, tried a completely different card, still nothing. Mind you, I have a vinted balance from selling so the card shouldn’t even be a factor. Anyways, I reach out to customer service and two days later as expected I’m just met with perfunctory responses and platitudes that do not relate to my issue in any sense. I understand if there’s glitches, no app is perfect however none of this makes sense to me why I’m suddenly unable to buy items on this app, with no resolution. I’ve read other people having this same issue with no response from customer service as well. I’ve withdrawn my funds and as soon as it hits (which I wouldn’t be surprised if it doesn’t because this is some sort of scam) I will be deleting this app.

Vinted Ignores Its Own Policies — Sellers Punished!I’m a new seller on Vinted, and this has been extremely frustrating. Early on, one older post accidentally used a stock photo amongst my own original photos — I didn’t realize it, and other platforms like eBay or Depop allow sellers to do this. That post was still processed and allowed. Later, another post was flagged incorrectly, and I provided proof it was my original photo; Vinted apologized for that mistake.
Now, they went back to the older post and banned me. The ban was supposed to last three days and be lifted today, March 30, 2026. I’ve provided screenshots of the email and the banner confirming this. Under the ban, I cannot post or edit listings, and engagement on my items has dropped significantly.
Support repeatedly sends generic responses like “sorry you’re unhappy with our solution” or tells me to appeal — when I am not appealing. The stock photo was posted so I just chose to serve my sentence. Additionally, I’ve been encouraged not to contact them further because it will “clog the system” and delays their responses; even though every response continues to ignore the issue rather than resolve it. This site is such a headache!!I have been making online listings for items I sell for a long time over various apps and in-person vendor shows. I am a photographer so take professional photos (even using my iPhone), I use family members as models for clothing, I use apps to remove the background and I attach the brand logo to the photo, etc. I put a lot of time into my listings to have them look a certain way because I sell brand new and excellent condition luxury and name brand items that I charge a lot for. I got this app a few weeks ago and already I have had 5-7 of my listings taken down for violations like stealing professional photos. You can only appeal ONE item every 6 mo the and after writing out my whole thing to their appeals it asked me if I want a response in English which I thought was odd since the whole app is in English. It also told me it would take 120 hours to respond. The minute I refreshed my page I received another violation notice (which also means automatic removal of your item from the site) that a children’s book I just listed for my child to make some spending money was taken down because they assumed I stole the photos. I literally took photos of the front and back cover, the inside and the spine to show its wear and tear. That was it and they removed it. How else are you supposed to take photos of a book? I’m sticking with P0shmark. They are amazingly easy to work with. Don’t bother with Vinted!!! Unless you just take photos with a bunch of stuff around your item making it look as unprofessional as possible. I give up though. Terribly coded and frustrating appI’ve had more problems with this app than any app I’ve ever used. More so than any clothing app for sure. The app is terribly coded, the keyboard cursor randomly jumps to different lines when trying to type listings, notifications remain for hours when you’ve already clicked on them, automated support issues are frequent and incredibly hard to work with, contacting support is near impossible and always unhelpful. They withhold money from the seller inconsistently and withhold shipping labels making it extremely hard to comply with their shipping policy. Their automated “authenticity checks” take hours instead of minutes like the app claims. Their copyright policies are the worst. I can’t upload pictures with backgrounds removed or they get taken down DESPITE ALL THE PHOTOS BEING ORIGINAL PICTURES TAKEN BY MYSELF!! I’ve tried to explain to support I do this for my own comfort and safety and they gleefully told me it didn’t matter, they would to continue to take down my listings, and tell me I would be banned. Great App! But I got banned ☹️I was on this app not even for a week. The day I signed up everything was great though! No surprise fees. Everything was a great price. And everything was easy to upload! A few hours after i signed up i randomly got a message that my account had been restricted due to "suspicious activity". I had only posted one pair of shoes and had made my profile so I was super confused as to why my account was restricted. About 30 minutes later I got another message saying everything was fine. So I continued on. A few days later I had posted a additional three items (with much excitement about being able to post even more later!) and then suddenly I got a email saying I was permanently banned for "fraudulent activity" and then a accompanied list of things I COULD have done to be banned and no way to repeal or ask for any sort of explanation. (Would Leave 0 Stars if I Could)When I first started using Vinted, I was genuinely impressed. I raved about it to friends and family, I couldn’t stop recommending it. But, in the past month my experience has taken a nosedive and I can no longer support this app.
As both a buyer and a seller, I’ve encountered serious issues that Vinted refuses to address. I reported several clearly fake listings, identical shoes being “sold” by different accounts supposedly located in completely different states. The photos all had the same background, same decor, and same wallpaper. It’s obvious they are scams, yet Vinted has done nothing.
But finally what pushed me to leave was a listing that I posted for charm beads. I had purchased them from a Hallmark store. Vinted removed my listing, citing an intellectual property claim by Pandora. I explained to support that if my listing was infringing, then Hallmark, a legitimate retailer, would be infringing too. This was completely ignored. Instead of a real response I received a generic copy and paste message threatening to ban my account if I listed anything else they deemed to violate their policy.

I just want to sell my Dead Great Aunt’s thingsI have literally been on the app for a day. That day has been extremely stressful. I chose this app because there are no seller fees and I wouldn’t have to factor in shipping. I don’t want a business. I want to clean out my Great Aunt’s extensive jewelry and bags which she always wanted us to sell after she was gone. However, as the other reviewers have made clear. Woof. First, They want you to sell things REALLY cheap. Which I don’t want to price gouge, but my aunt kept every bill for every piece. I am selling $40 statement piece stone necklaces for the recommended $2.00, Then, when I finally sell an object, they don’t send a label. I didn’t know they even did that. I ask how to make sure I get a label next time. A bot tells me it takes 48 hours and I should share proof of purchase to get reimbursed. I didn’t even care about the money, but I sent my bill. They then say that I cannot get reimbursed because I sent it without their label and they are canceling the order. I don’t even get the two dollars! Then, someone haggled, then wanted it bundled. I was like whatever. And made the listing for the two pieces so she could buy it (she didn’t, apparently 5.00 for two bulky stone necklaces was too much) THEN, the app hid the listing and said “bad quality photos” and threatened me. I not only use solid gray backgrounds with lots of light. I put a yardstick in the photo for scale and lots of detail shots! The costumer service is a mess. The stupid bots run you around and threaten you. I’d prefer a longer wait for email with a real person with eyes and cognitive ability to respond.

Discriminatory practices?EDIT: I now have learned that this wasn’t a bug. They are being discriminatory and giving random people higher or lower rates. So many people are deleting their accounts, and that’s just the people who post about it in the forum. Then another response from someone else is that all the prices will change to be the most expensive. I understand about fluctuating USPS prices, but this is ridiculous. I ship through USPS often because of my small business. Up to 1 pound, first class, should never be over $6. There are no seller fees, but it’s being made up in overpriced shipping. No one is going to buy a used item for $1-$5 if they have to pay $6 for shipping. Which means items over one pound, like a bundle, will be $9 and a large bundle would be $11. I’d rather have the seller fee and lower shipping rates. Original post: Some people see shipping rates as .99 and some people see 2.49, 3.99, and even over $6 for the same item. It’s not consistent, and they don’t even know about this glitch even when people tried to reach out via feedback. Horrible appEveryone on this app tells you that if you want to buy something, you need to text a phone number. And vinted does absolutely nothing about it. Most of the sellers cancel orders because they don’t want you to purchase the item through the website. They want you to text the number, and when you do. They tell you to send the money via Cash app, Venmo, PayPal. Sometimes they have a Nintendo DS is going for $85. I think we all collectively know that that is a scam. There are also cameras that are trending right now that go for four to $600 or more and people tell you to go to a website and it’s like a sketchy website and purchase there. People lowball you so badly for your stuff. If you are asking 250, people will offer you 140, 120, 80 bucks even. There should be a threshold as to how low somebody can offer you you constantly get notifications asking you to upload. But nobody wants to buy anything that’s over six dollars. You also get messages from people asking you to collaborate with their companies and it sellers that have zero followers and zero sales and they are following zero people. BannedIf I could give a zero rating I would. I downloaded this app less than 24 hours ago. I am moving into my college dorm for the upcoming semester and I need to downsize my items to fit accordingly. I download this app yesterday to post some of the items that I no longer want or use. It started off great. Within an hour or two of making the account, I had already made two sales. I began to post more items (as the app encourages you to do to reach more buyers). After posting maybe a total of 15 items (shirts, skirts, shoes, dresses, pants) my account indicated an error message that my account was banned due to fraudulent activity. I immediately reached out to customer service (online only no human support) in attempts to clarify and remove this ban. I have not received one response in the meantime. I had made sales prior to this unjust ban and now I can’t ship my item or inform the buyer that I am unable to fulfill the order. This is highly upsetting that this happened on my first day on this app. I do not recommend this app to anyone. Worst Customer Service, Doesn’t Protect Their Sellers.Lots of scammers and rude individuals on this app compared to other platforms. No ability to report them on the app as well. Unfortunately I ran into one of these scammers, they disputed an order of mine claiming I sent a gross item (along with a picture they stole from the internet). Luckily I recorded myself packaging the item and showed all angles of it to prove it was pristine. Also Google reverse image searched the picture they claimed was the gross item I sent and found they stole it from Depop listing. Sent all of this proof to Vinted support as evidence, and they made me wait 4 days for the scammer to send their “proof”. The support is completely unhelpful, took a very long time to receive funds, allows scammers and rude individuals on their app with no community monitoring/report system. Allowed the scammer to leave me a negative review even though I provided substantial proof they were trying to scam me. Tried disputing this review, didn’t do anything about it. Listen to the warningsI’ve been using this app as a buyer and seller and have to say run to any other app instead. There is a buyer protection fee on every purchase but there is zero buyer protection. If someone lies and the item is stained or damaged or counterfeit YOU as the buyer have to pay return shipping and the seller can DECIDE to give you a refund or not, and then —get this— there is NO way to leave feedback because “We allow leaving feedback and star rating only for those members with whom you had a transaction and it was fully completed” and apparently returning a fraudulent item or damaged item is not a completed transaction. So the seller gets away without any impact on their profile, other users don’t know about this, and it doesn’t help to only go with only positive rated people (as my bad experiences were all with folks with multiple high reviews). As others have said, the communications from Vinted are all auto responses and don’t respond to what you’re actually asking for. Asks for social security number!First, I have sold with Vinted for over a year. Initially loved the app as there are no selling fees and transactions are completed quickly. However, they randomly decided to move to a new app. Now all my old sales and messages are gone. A few days ago, I made my first sale on the new app and it will not let me print out my shipping label unless I provide my social security number. I am not giving out my ss for $7 sale. I have sold on Mercari, poshmark, depop, and eBay for years now and have never once been asked for my social security. I do not trust Vinted security and I am certain in no time they will have a data breach where people’s social security number will be hacked and sold on the dark web. Scammed & abandoned as a 5 star sellerLet me tell you a story:
Once upon a time, there was a seller on Vinted whose purpose was solely to give her clothes a second chance. For four months everything went smoothly and that seller had a perfect 5-star record (25+ reviews). One day, that seller tried to resell a pair of shoes she had bought on Vinted that were mislabeled and ended up being too small. Unfortunately for her, these shoes began trending on social media a few weeks prior and a reseller immediately snapped them up within 1 minute of the listing being posted (for 7€). It was clearly indicated in the listing that the shoes were being resold after having been purchased on Vinted. On receiving the order, the buyer “coincidentally” proceeded to declare the shoes “fakes” and Vinted, without spending so much as 10 minutes reviewing the images proving why the shoes were not fakes, chose to side with the buyer unless the seller could show the original receipt 🙃 In the end, the seller not only lost the shoes (for which she was never compensated), she also was scammed out of 3€ that were paid in shipping fees to have the item returned to her (it was not, and neither were the fees).

Vinted is becoming their own downfallAs a seller, my listings are sometimes flagged for “not following catalog rules” even though it’s a t-shirt and obviously fits in the clothing category. Don’t even bother posting a model image from the website you bought an item from, they will flag that for some reason. They also practically expect you to provide a receipt from years ago for any luxury brand items you’re selling to prove it’s real, a million photos won’t do it for them. Customer service is terrible, when you try to appeal they just say they’re right and you’re wrong.
As a buyer, their fees are ridiculous, shipping prices are too high compared to before (and there’s only 3 options for the seller to even choose from, they can’t adjust based on the weight of the package), and I wouldn’t bet any money on customer service being helpful if needed. I’ve also had issues in the past regarding my payment methods even though there’s nothing wrong on my end.
I’d highly recommend Mercari instead, their catalog range is much better, customer service is actually helpful, currently have 0 listing fees and shipping is a lot more adjustable!.Renayy1021Version: 24.26.1

Do better.I am very disappointed with customer support. A member of the community just had everything on her account removed for possible “Commercial Activity.” Which is absolutely ridiculous. She is a popular member with 640 reviews rated 5 stars. Crooked scam artistsI have used this app for many years. It was much simpler when there weren’t any fees. Now as a seller they allow you to keep your entire sale price which is amazing-however… as a buyer you are charged a buyer fee, the fee is sketchy at best and does not offer anything. This app is the worst absolute worst to buy from because if item received is not as described support will not only deny your claim but also close the ticket so you aren’t able to reply to them. I have been spending around $400-$500 a month to buy on here and had a pair of $10 pants that came to me almost torn and after submitting over ten photos the claim was denied and closed. There is no way to recover the package and this entirely a seller issue. The worst app iv ever usedI sell and buy on a lot of sites this site takes the cake in horrible customer service, uploading items, authentication, everything.. I just uploaded an item that they deleted because I uploaded the certificate of authenticity which you should do but they consider it as a “not a photo that belongs to you” umm ya it does belong to me🙄. CHAOS FOr SELLERSThis is my first time leaving a review on an app because maybe it helps and they actually change something. They froze my account for 7 days for “selling in high volume,” when the moment you post they literally tell you post more. And how is it “high volume” if they only let you upload one item per post? You can’t even show how many you have available because of Vinted’s rules.
Okay, but I also have different sizes available in my store, everything is brand new, and they say photos must be real… yet they still remove your listings without even verifying. It’s such a waste of time. If they don’t like something, they just take the item down. It’s an obstacle for everything — even when the pictures are literally just your feet, they still say it “doesn’t meet the rules.” It’s crazy and makes it super hard to sell.

Seller Protection Is Practically NonexistentI was very happy with Vinted at first and successfully sold several books and other items. Unfortunately, my experience changed completely when I encountered a problem as a seller.
One of my packages was marked as delivered by USPS. I contacted USPS directly, and they confirmed the delivery. They even provided additional delivery records, which I submitted to Vinted as evidence.
Despite the delivery confirmation, the buyer claimed the package was not received. The truth is that I do not know what happened after delivery. I do not know whether the package was lost after being delivered, stolen by someone else, or whether the buyer actually received it and reported otherwise. What I do know is that USPS confirmed the delivery and I provided that evidence to Vinted.
Despite this, Vinted chose to refund the buyer and closed the case. As a result, I lost both my books and the payment.
I understand the importance of protecting buyers, but sellers deserve protection too when there is documented proof that a package was delivered. This experience made me lose confidence in Vinted as a selling platform, and I will not be selling on Vinted again..~MdcVersion: 26.21.0
Vinted profits off fake items!!! AVOIDI received a counterfeit purse from an account that had already been suspended by Vinted for selling fakes. I received two items the same day and accidentally marked the fake one as “received” instead of the first parcel I’d opened. But upon opening the purse seconds later, I realized it was fake and that in fact, VINTED HAD ALREADY SUSPENDED THE SELLER’S ACOUNT. Vinted’s customer service is terrible, you can only contact support via messaging in the app, and you receive mostly automated responses. I have explained the situation countless times and they refuse to even continue the conversation with me, saying simply that the payment has already been released to the seller. Obviously this is not possible because the account was already suspended by Vinted. This means that Vinted is pocketing the $100 I was just ripped off and keeping it for themselves! I keep asking them to amend their refund policy for this type of situation and they won’t even respond! It would be so simple to just have a tab that says “contact us” and you’re able to message a team member. But no— of course it can’t be that easy. You have to navigate a bunch of tabs in the “Help Center” and pray you find one that has a contact us button. I couldn’t find it so I tried to message the Vinted team through a conversation with support I previously had. Big mistake apparently because they immediately restricted my account with no warning. Now I still have a question unanswered (trying to help a customer with the shipment), I am unable to sell my item to my buyer who is just as confused as me, and still not hearing back from an actual human with help. They just have third party bots reporting accounts and little support. This is a nightmare as a seller and hurts buyers too. I was recommended this app because they said it was better than others but clearly they are lagging far behind with actual humans caring about their users..LexLex418Version: 24.32.1

I’ve gotten some decent deals as a buyer on here..but they charge a “buyer protection fee”…which is just their way of scamming some money because there’s no buyer protection bc you can’t get ahold of customer service and when you do..chalk it up to you lost your money !!
As a seller….forget about the rules and guidelines that they have on their site to protect you in case of lost or damaged mail (even tho it’s out of your hands after you ship)…oh YOU are still responsible! They cancelled my order (as a seller) bc Usps delivered to wrong address,tracking was provided,trips to get printouts from Usps etc..doesn’t matter! They cancelled order and said nothing they can do so I’m out $ AND my items I sold! They tell me to stop contacting about this because I’m congestinf the system !! Really?? Absolute worst by far customer service ,generic responses and not a single rep bothers to read anything you send which I think they do it on purpose so you’ll just say H3LL with it!
