Timemator: Time Tracking Positive Reviews

Love it so far, could use some optimizationsHas been great for tracking my activities and holding me accountable. Better than tracking on a calendar due to the ease of using the pre-set buttons. After about 4 days of usage, I would love to see 2 things: -Ability to have multiple activities running at the same time. -Ability to zoom in on the timeline so I can more easily view the shorter tasks. The workaround is viewing the tasks in the report section, but I would like to be able to view it in the timeline as well..Version: 1.3

Best ios TimetrackerGreat app, nice design, responsive developer. I discovered the Mac app and loved that one. I really like the automation features there. The ios version is by far the best tracker you can buy. The only one that matches in my opinion is Toggle, except it’s too expensive and uggh, another subscription. The ios version will be 5 stars once it gets an iPad version and there’s some way to automate functions like the Mac app. Get both versions today!.Version: 1.1.1

Best time tracker I have usedBasically all that I wanted to track the time. Gave me a lot of insight regarding how much time I really spent on each things, and I start to use these metric for analysis instead of just based on intuition. Some parts can be improved. I will be much better to have iPhone widgets on home & Lock Screen, maybe island too. This will help a lot to reminder to when to start or stop the tracker..Version: 1.3.1

Keep screen alive?Wonderful app and beautiful user interface. The only feature that I really miss from other Timer apps is the always-on screen. It would be super awesome if the screen can keep alive in the focus timer mode. Hoping for a future update😊.Version: 1.1.1

Wonderful appI really like the design style of this app! Feature-rich and easy to operate. I just wonder if the developer will launch a version for Apple Watch , it will be more convenient to open the timer!.Version: 1.1.1

Beautiful app but no support or updatesThis is the most aesthetic, pleasing and practical time tracking app there is, but there has been widget bugs on macOS and there are no live activities on the iPhone app. I emailed the developer a few times and no response. When you look at his social media, he is MIA..Version: 1.3.2

Simple, Effective, & UsefulI love the simplicity of Timemator. I’ve tried tons of time tracking apps but none of them have come close to the simplicity and usefulness of Timemator..Version: 1.3.2

I wanna to use dynamic islandI use this app very well. However I also want to use timemator by dynamic island. It is good to see real task and the time at once..Version: 1.3

Need iWatch appCan track time based on apps used on the mac app but can also track whatever you want to track..Version: 1.2

Please Activate My LicenseHi! I have emailed you guys twice requesting help activating my license on a new computer. Can someone please get back to me? Thank you!.Version: 1.3

Good appI wish you use a tag system instead of a folder system. Aside from that, it is a great app with a reasonable price👍.Version: 1.3

Portable time tracking + sleek ui/ux, and the only time tracking app with an Apple Watch app!! 🫶Hi folks! I’m a recent convert from NowThenPro—and while there are a few features I miss from NowThenPro that I’d like to see here someday (ex. mainly being able to filter, sort, and utilize different views to visualize your data)—overall the intuitive interface/ui and the functionality of being able to use rules for automated time tracking on my Mac, then being able to step away from my workspace and 👏 track time👏 via a widget 👏directly👏from the 👏home face👏 of my Apple Watch ⌚️ is ✨ insanely powerful✨ I can’t emphasize enough how this app actually ✨encourages✨me to log my time by making time tracking feel easy!✨ Previously, I was irritated by a handful of apps/subscriptions I tried that had limited support between my devices. For example, I’d be working on my main desktop then I’d step away to do design work on my iPad or go do housework (I work from home, can you tell lol) and I’d have to constantly return back to my desktop and interrupt the task I was doing just to track it. NowThenPro was my go-to but even then I became tired of having to take my phone with me everywhere to log my time. I’d love to see added features and functionality when it comes to reviewing your data someday! Currently, my use-case is I use this primarily to track billable hours for my clients, however, since I manage multiple projects for each client and multiple clients, I like being able to review my data to give better estimates to how much time the scope of a particular project will take when I’m on consultation calls. Additionally, I use this to track my 9-5 and home-related tasks to get an overall feel for my work-life balance 🏡 💼 Currently, I like the daily and weekly bar graph view, however, on most of my devices the “time breakdown” usually is not sorted in order of what I spent the most time on 🤔 🧐 for ex., it will show a random task I spent little time on first and mix tasks, I can’t tell how it sorts them 🤔 Ideally, it would be cool it at least it sorted time/billable hours by what you spent the most time on. Additional cool features could be to view data in pie chart form or even being able to filter and visualize data within a specific folder. My use case is I’d like to review how I spent my time completing a specific client project, or being able to see where the bulk of my time goes for a particular client— essentially focusing on a particular folder for reviewing time tracked versus viewing the big picture. I could go on😂 to wrap up— intuitive, seamless, portable = encouraging time tracking 🙌 Sincerely, study me (actually I’d be happy to elaborate on any feedback and share my use-case) Thanks team!!🙏.Version: 1.3.1

Invoicing would be nice updateBeautiful design, syncs across iCloud, stores data locally, no subscription fees, works on Mac and iPhone. However, it does not have a native iPad app yet. Dev says on the way! Exciting..Version: 1.1

My Go-To for Time Tracking!Quick update: As of the latest version of this app, for whatever reason, it is showing the titles of the "categories" twice, in bold letters, while using the app. This will need to be fixed.... (and update: This was fixed quickly by the developer within about 3 days!!!) Other than that, the app is awesome! Below is my previous review as of a few weeks ago: Where was this all my life??? I had been testing and using a LOT of time tracking apps (Tyme 3, GoodTask, TickTick, Session, etc.), all of them have their various strengths and weaknesses, but when I started using this app, what put me over the top with it (and ultimately sticking with it) is its Reports area! One of the biggest things that I am finding myself wanting to see when it comes to time tracking is the ability to, at a glance, see the breakdown of what I have been doing over time. Each of the aforementioned apps have their own ways of doing it, but when I was able to single-handedly click on any task or folder at any time, and see a breakdown of what I had been doing within that folder or task (or even series of tasks) over the course of a day, week, month, or year, that is a big deal…. Secondly, to see the money “coming forth” in real time after assigning an hourly rate toward a task or series of tasks is also an awesome feature…. All in all: The syncing feature of this app is top notch amongst all platforms (Mac, iPhone, iPad, and Watch), and with the latest addition of Live Activities toward the iOS platform, it is taking full advantage of the latest features of the iPhone and iPad, which also is great as well. I highly recommend this app to anyone who is interested in doing time tracking of their life, as it really shines once you start using it and seeing over time what you have been doing, which ultimately should help you in moving forward in this thing called Life!.Version: 1.4.0

IOS app duplicates tasksOtherwise amazing!.Version: 1.3

The app is great, but improvement neededProbably the main thing that's missing is the ability to add TAGS to your tracked time. Tags could be used for a whole bunch of use cases: client, project, type of work, etc. Organizing your timelines into folders is helpful, but not as flexible as tagging your time entries and then filtering the reports by those tags. Please, add that 🙏.Version: 1.3.1

Super Great!I’ve been using Timemator for near 2 years and have the exact tools I need to invoice my customers. Plus: the developper is always listenning and answering to my feedback. Plus: export to CSV is working like a charm. Plus: it has a nice interface (very important things for me 😀)..Version: 1.3

Best time tracking app on Mac + iPhoneI have tried many time tracking applications and this one has been the best. The developer has been very responsive. Highly recommended..Version: 1.0
