I really enjoy this app it helps me with my daily walk in Christ. Today is February 23,2024 I’ve been feeling really down and discouraged this month bc of the fact that this is my baby brother Birthday month his birthday is on the 6th of February and he was my best friend so many people use to say that we look so much like twins, even though he was three years older than me, we did everything together and My Baby Sister, until he went away in the military in the army that was the hurtful thing to me as well upon his return from Boot Camp, he was able to come home on a leave of absence and he went to Las Vegas to visit my father and he never returned. He was shot by mistaken identity, which caused my mother and my five other siblings a total devastation my Mother had suffered a stroke and his death took a toll on my family especially my Mother who never fully recovered from his death she suffered from diabetes and high blood pressure, high thyroid, and congestive heart failure and and coincidentally she died on the 7th of February 2010 and was buried on the 14th of February Valentines Day I remember that being the most painful but beautiful day I’ve ever seen it Snowed and my Mother funeral was absolutely Amazing and so Serene I have had so many lonely days just thinking about the loss of my loved ones but I can truly say that with the help of your daily devotions and prayers 🙏🏾 I would not have made it. This app has been sitting on my cell phone for a couple months… but I have been so depressed, sad, bitter, heartbroken, lonely from a horrible break up between me and my boyfriend, Frank. I have been too busy being sad that I can’t focus on anything else!!! I try to get into my devotional books. I try praying. I beg God to let me stop thinking about how the love of my life left me and a month later met a woman and is now going to marry her. I’m devastated! Frank was my first crush at 15 years old and I’m 55 now. I’m trying to get myself to go to Calvary Chapel Church here in CT. We were living in Sebastian, Florida and were baptized there last November. We went to church every Sunday. I was getting special Christian counseling once a week and thought we were going to get married. 2 years ago his daughter, 27 years old passed away. And it tore him apart. Our relationship spiraled down. It tore us apart. Anyway I left Florida and came to CT, to stay with my parents. I left all my possessions in a storage in Florida. I’m starting all over again at 55. I have no way to move my storage up here. I don’t have a truck and can’t afford a U-Haul. I need God more than ever. I am saved! I have the HOLY SPIRIT in me. I have spoken in tongues, like10xs, it’s amazing!!! I was brought up going to church with my parents, bible camp every summer as a kid. I need prayers and deliverance from bad habits. I know that a lot of people might not approve of services to remove ads and streaks that shame you for forgetting to use your app for just one day, but this Bible app in particular has a number of features and differences that personally put it well over the original Bible App by YouVersion for me, and two of these are the streaks and plans from the original I’ll mention now. First, it does things plain and simple with the streaks and plans; no shaming you in your face if you miss a day; just a friendly reminder that you can always try again now or at a later date. Second, there’s only a few select plans within the app itself, and it’s a stark contrast between simplicity and bloat when it comes to this Bible app in particular. No seemingly endless searching for the right plan for your present fear or anger; just select a specific one from a small, human-curated list of plans and get the answer you actually need and want. There’s even music and nature ambience with the quality of old hardware, and whilst that might be a deterrent to some if not many, I personally consider it a nostalgia trip to when the hardware really was only capable of producing the sound quality it was able to do at the time. Ah, the 2000s. Overall, this app deserves an Excellent rating for having none of the bloat of other Bible apps like the original, and for being distinct as a King James Version-exclusive. Sure, there might be some broken English here and there, but with enough time, this can simply be ignored, and thus should not count against the app itself. Very well done.

I’m a Muslim born from Iran. A spiritual person in Iran by the name of Mohammad Ali Tahery who was a mystic showed me to close my eyes and look into my heart and put me into a spiritual journey. At the beginning the truth revealed himself to me I called him the Lord. Then Jesus spoke to me. And I thought so he’s a prophet and I was very happy. All along it was him guiding me through spirit. I felt a great presence from time to time and I called him Allah. But now Jesus has revealed himself to me and said all along the way it was him and he called me his child. So I have left my previous religion and started to read the Bible. I have started from the Old Testament and I am listening to Sam & David Wood too. Thank you so much, for this app, I love it. At present I’m a migrant in Turkey, İstanbul. My husband betrayed me 5 years ago, stole my money too. I had to sell my house in a rush and was cheated by a realtor who handed me a basement flat without any balcony instead of the second storey flat which I had paid money for. This was a scum. I complained to the court but to no avail. And the immigration office didn’t extend my residence permit because the basement has half the value of the top floors. So now I’m living here illegally for 4.5 years. I sold all my belongings and came to Turkey and now I’m stuck with my daughter over here. Please pray for us that somehow this problem is solved and we get our citizenship by some miracle. Or else somehow we could migrate to a more civilized country. I myself am praying so much. Please pray for me and my daughter.

How wonderful it is to work with God , he sees he hears and his ways are not our ways he works in ways we can not see . He may allow us to pass through some tunnels in life but he never forsake his children. Never give up on God because he would never give up on you. This can repent sin and temptation and stop the devil. stop living for the world and say you will choose god later, CHOOSE HIM NOW. you know how many people make plans for tomorrow but dont make it to tomorrow? that happens everyday. you dont know the amount of people that have died living for the world before god or how many people die everyday. you would say ill choose god later but if those skys open. your soul will be ripped out and taken. fear god, for the seven trumpets and judgement day is terrifing, do you know noahs story? probably not but, ill tell you. months or weeks went and people started to forget god, so god told noah he would drown humanity and to build a boat and bring a pair of each animal with his family, and god gave him the blueprint and he built it. along with food. his neighbors heard the noise of animals coming in and shook their heads in disapproval. but little did they know they would drown it flooded for months and noah let out a bird. it came back with nothing. weeks later he did it again and it came back with a stick, noah knew the water was reducing. he did it again the the bird didnt come back. he opened the arks door and it was dry, note this it took months and months for it to dry. and god told him to release the animals.

I’m not sure I raised 2 beautiful kids a son and a daughter by myself after their father passed away. There was no time to mourn nor time stop I just kept pushing and pushing and one early morning I talked to Jesus and said please help me mentally and physically I’m not sure I can do this and I will never forget the feeling that went over me and how my tears just stopped and I got up and was praising him. I always told my kids that it was me, them, and of course our dog rocky and Jesus. I never stopped saying that because it’s true without him in my life I know I couldn’t have raised these kids by myself. I thank you Jesus for being my strength, my father and my best friend. I know that may sound silly to some but really it’s not, he is the only one I could turn too and still it’s this day I have kept pushing. I know sometimes I get so stress at work and then come home and let it out. He knows the struggles and I just hope he forgives me when I get that way, and I believe he does, I just don’t want to be that way, stress and angry and just unhappy with myself for not getting a better job that makes me happy. I will turn that around my life isn’t over yet and he still has plans for me and I cannot let him down.

This app is very simple in what it does, and does so very well. Let’s just start with that. There ARE adds that pop up. They ARE unskipable until a certain time has passed… This much we’ve grown to know and accept but OHH MY DAYS THE ADDS!! There’s kind of a pattern.. I’m not going to explain it. You will learn it. Watch out for the pop up ones.. be patient and wait, don’t miss the “X” OR fall for the fake ‘x’.. you’ll get a “pop-up penalty” and… you don’t want that. This app translates each verse and can take notes and highlight passages. The scripture it gives and the messages as well as the prayers feel real and thought out as if it were a person and not A.I. the interface minus the adds is really top notch and very smooth from my experiences. A paid for option might not be the worst thing for this app. However, I firmly believe that in the good name of what THIS app represents, payment should be tides paid to the church (YOUR church), and adds are blasphemous. This is a nice app, and has a great feel to it. Quickly became one of my top favorites after I began to collect. Also, I LOVE that the cover changes the more you use the app. Download. Enjoy. Praise be to all who have given us this gift of wisdom, love and a really great way to communicate with our Heavenly Father. We tend to get so distracted with our daily lives that often times we don’t realize we’ve forgotten to take a moment for our daily devotion. This app is a great way to keep us focused on the most important part of our day and that’s our daily devotion to Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior the redeemer of all redeemers and the ultimate physician to keep our hearts, and remind us that his love is eternal and he is always there to keep us safe and happy and healthy if we just ask. This app has made such a difference in my life and I love waking up everyday to see what our Father has chosen to guide me on my continued journey towards my life and eternal salvation. The Lord has been blessing me with favor, mercy and his grace and of course his love with my current struggles and and he ALWAYS CONFIRMS everything is always spot on for what I am going through and need to hear. Every time I am reading a verse somehow it speaks to me about a position. I’m currently in a condition that I could be going through and not knowing the outcome or a terrible heartache that I need help with. The Lord speaks to us in mysterious ways, and I am a firm believer that when you ask in Jesus name, and your heart is pure and true, and you are committed to him and committed to following Not just in his footsteps but how he wants us to live you to see without seeing that he truly is there for us all day every day. And we are supposed to go through trials and tribulations that is part of life and it’s a matter of you know God is already there with you that he’s the one that’s carrying you through it are you doubting him? Are you blaming him Before you do that? Just remember we are sinners and this is the life that we live and even if we do follow in the footsteps, we still will go through these trials. Just don’t ever forget when you can’t take it anymore. He’s already carrying you when you see those one set of footsteps. That’s because you’re on his back. Not because you’re alone!

This is the #1 thing God left His disciples to do. Of course other things are important, but love greatly satisfies my soul. I am truly still trying to find what God want me to do. No matter what I do or give it never seems enough. I know it is only in my head I guess. But why does it still linger? I know God will show me in His time because I have a problem with patience. Thus I feel God is teaching me patience along with whatever plans He has for me. This app is good to have on your phone, when you want to read the word of God, but isn't home to read the actually Bible. Downloading this app can change that, this app gives you a morning verse, meditation, your thoughts ( you can write how you feel about the meditation, verse or you can just talk to God, it also give you a prayer. They do this for the night as well.😌 If you let them send you notifications, you will get notify to talk to God for both morning and night, so you wouldn't have to stress about missing out or not knowing when the next prayer come up. Don't just rely or the app tho to talk to God, talk to God when your in need or need something or just want to talk. This app is really handy tho I use it all the time, for when I wake up and before I go to bed. They have a bunch of other stuff you can do on this app like quizzes (to test you on what you know and learned), audio, for when you want to listen to learn how to pronounce the words and names ( I prefer you listen along to understand it better). And so much more!!! I hope this review help other people.

That my goal ask God’s opportunity what I need about my prayer everyday I hope God will help us new live move to other new house , but We got a marriage’s going to get a new house for our family so it’s a good thing that we’re getting the new home for our kids so that they have a new place and they can get the new one that they need to get their own house for them so we have to move in with them and then they will get their house ready and then we will be able early on the schedule for the next couple of months and I think that is going forward to see how things work for us but we will have to see how it goes with our family and then I hope that this will help us to move forward with our kids will be very excited about this new home for us being in a lot of things are very important for our children are going through it is just like you know that we are working hard for the future. I want to be much closer to The Lord,spiritually,mentally,emotionally, physically healthy,and financially giving unto Christ. My life has not been easy,but one thing I do know that Christ has always been there for me in order to get me through all those issues and situations that I’ve been through. I hate anger,lies,stress,fear,having spiritual weakness,emotional weakness,and physical weakness,I know that The Trinity have been covering me but I know I haven’t been doing my part . I pray for better understanding of TheWord(Bible) my concentration gets taking away many times. I pray for a better living situation. I live with my daughter. My job doesn’t pay enough for me ,matter of fact it’s hard labor on my body now Im out for my knee has a lot going on with it, but only my knees my entire body pains so much, I really need a great primary care physician ,my medical bills are constantly stacking up. I’m actually a month away from the next step in my religion, but I have lost my interest and devotion. I am respectful, but I have forgotten God’s place in my life. I had remembered a bible app someone told me about and looked for it. Yes, I found it, but my curiosity led me to this bible app which appears more traditional. In the short time I’ve owned this app, I feel more relaxed, for I have started to return to my Lord and Savior. I was always His, but I ran away and found myself lost in earthly temptations. I believe that this happens to others as well, so if you are looking for a way to stay connected to God and His Son, I suggest this app. However, in the measurable time I’ve had this app, I’ve also received many ads that distract me or anger me because I wish to explore it without interruption. I needed this right now due to my husband’s Alzheimer’s which is making life very difficult and this app helps me cope. I strongly support having a Bible app in this busy time and especially for people going through difficult situations! It’s a blessing when you need a reminder that god is with you and will help you through this journey of life! Since I wrote the message above my husband passed away. I prayed so hard to help me take care of him! I wish he could have stayed with me longer, however, he went home on Easter morning in time for the resurrection of Christ! Even though I’m using another Bible app this one’s still good King James holy Bible is this word basic people basic believers and it’s still good for those who want to still believe in God and those who want to actually have a journey and everlasting journey of God, that’s the true meaning the true gospel of Jesus it’s not only to believe but to be faithful and strong it says it in here in Samuel two when David decides a sin, he repented and went back to God he repented, and God was merciful, though he did kill the baby. He gave him another one Solomon and that baby decided to grow up and still followed in God’s way even when he stumbled I think the Lord that I’m still following his journey. And if you want, it’s right there with you you can spread it. You can love it, but you can also share it so share the gospel of Jesus Christ and I’m still trying to tell everyone.

I was going through a lot with being laid off for 11 months . It was so hard to have hope and believe things would get better . I was mad at myself and people around me. But most of all the jobs I would apply to and keep getting rejected over 300 rejections. My unemployment ran out and and maxed out my credit card and my checking account was down low. I needed inspiration,motivation something that would help my mind and give me encouragement. So I came across this app and it made me realize how easy it is to believe in the positive as the same as the negative. We rather believe wholeheartedly in the negative as truth but the possibility of god we doubt. But all things are possible through god just trust that no matter what it looks like god with work it together for your good. Mo matter what man does or says to come against you .

He is not of this world but satan is in control if I allow him to be but I am under the protection and the Blood Of Christ and chose Him over the worldly way. I’ve started a new chapter in my life, and was reading and listening to verses from the Bible and answering different questions within myself. It’s really eye-opening I now wake up and read some and I go to sleep and I read some more. I believe I’m gonna love this chapter more than ever. Also, the only thing that kind of bothers me is that after I’ve done a prayer tally up and it keeps saying my 20th my 30th my 40th prayer of the week but all those prayers were within many weeks not one. And I guess it doesn’t really bother me I just try to. keep track of the things I do because my memory is not too well I would like to read some new prayers on here over the weeks and months. I seem to keep reading the same ones not sure if there’s other ones that may be able to be implemented. But if not, it’s still great.

I love that this app is free. I love all the amazing features this app offers! I absolutely have been loving the daily verse especially that I can save it as a picture on my phone and that it offers it as a widget on my screen and the opportunity to say a prayer that it offers with the daily verse. It usually somehow always aligns with what I am experiencing that day or something that I just need that day. I love this app and I am so grateful to the developers for it! It does sometimes get to me that there’s a bunch of ads but I do understand that there needs to be for the development of the app since it is free for everyone. Which is just my favorite part because I do think anything with the Bible should be free for everyone. So kudos to the developers and thank you so much for your time into this app! You’ve done a wonderful job!

I love that it keeps me on task to read and meditate on a few verses each day. I have used many different apps. Other Bible apps I’ve had to stop using from time to time because they have too many advertisements, glitches, or cookies. This scripture app by this developer, on the other hand, seems very straightforward: bravo. Thank you for creating this for students and people of all ages. And this is one of the ones that works consistently well. Thank you for your hard work that was obviously put into it. Looking forward to future such apps. Giving you a five-star, even though I have one suggestion for improvement: there are sometimes errors in grammar, just simple ones like “s” at the end of words. I’ve been reading the Bible and I feel lost and disconnected because I don’t understand what I’m reading. Now that a couple of weeks have passed I’m a little more confident in what I read. I’ve accepted Jesus into my life about a year ago, and then, I was on top of it. I prayed every night, read a chapter a day, felt good about myself. More self-esteem, etc. But then I just-lost that feeling. My bible was neglected. In moments of silence at school I just stood there, a prayer never on my mind. Then I got a new phone, and was almost addicted. And God spoke to me- get a bible app! More portable, has motivations unlike a normal bible, and it works! So I did some research, and this app caught my attention. And the plans are soooooo affective. There is one on prayer- one of my greatest spiritual problems. I think that bible is a very important part of being a Christian. because the Bible has God’s word in it and the most important thing about being a Christian is love because God has unbreakable love and he loves everyone equally in John 3:16 it says for God so loved the world he gave his only beloved Son so whoever believes in him well not perish but have everlasting life so if you do the right thing you will have everlasting life in heaven with God so reading the Bible everyday will grow your love with god and remember not everyone is perfect everyone makes mistakes but you also have to learn from your mistakes in life so that’s why God’s forgiveness is infinity and remember God loves everyone even the bad people and even the people that sin on purpose so you always have to pray read the Bible and love God as much as you love yourself.

I know I couldn’t remember a lot of the tragic things that happen in my life. There was certain things that my eyes stayed close to in my life and I lost my faith in God I’m just realizing that now and also I know in my mind, I made a vow not to read god word I kept telling myself I didn’t understand anything in the Bible, and that I could read and understand what I was reading, but I didn’t know that was the carnal way of me not having to have faith and trust in God and put blinders on my eyes so I couldn’t see what God was protecting me in those troubled times with God love me for me I couldn’t see that was lord of thank you, thank you, I just as you, Lord, open my eyes to your word and my understanding and make a relationship the best I love you, Lord in Jesus name amen

This is amazing! There’s so many different tools for Bible study to choose from. I love that it reads to you and adjusts the speed to fit my time schedule. The sounds in the background are really relaxing too! I love that it gives you a morning and evening prayer and meditation to reflect on his word. And the many different options on the reading plan and I love that it tracks your progress on reading making it much easier to understand and keep organized. The only thing I think could use some improvement in the scheduling setting I wake up at five on week days so I need my Bible notification a bit earlier so I remember to read before I go to school but other that that this is amazing and has really helped in my spiritual development and walk with Christ.

I really love reading my verse of the day everyday. I try not to miss a day reading the verse of the day. When I read the verses it gives me joy, happiness, understanding & most of all, PEACE. I like having a BIBLE app at my right hand because this day and time in our lives we really and truly need it. The only thing that I don’t care for is that I like to have my BIBLE read to me during the night while I am sleeping & this doesn’t do that. It reads maybe a chapter well yes a chapter. The other one that I had downloaded the You Version was awesome but it started acting up so I deleted it. I’m going to check back with them because until here recently I had NO problems at all with that one. It would read and read and read some more! I’ll give this one a chance though only because it’s the WORD OF OUR GOOD LORD! I am in the beginning stages of my Religious Journey. This app is helping me in many ways. To learn Prayers, they have a Bible Study, and my FAVORITE which is Bible Trivia!! lol I came across this app when I wasn’t looking for it. I took that as a sign and downloaded it. Now it’s one of my Top Apps that I use every single day! I highly recommend this to people who are just beginning their Journey (like me) or to people who have been following & Learning from God. It’s so weird but it’s always spot on!

I love the option to get prayer from a mood. I love the quiz And I love evening prayer and being about to find what I need inscripture. You need to add some graphic teaching games and do it by stories. The graphics have to be colorful and good. And I’ll share it far and wide as well as my deciple and ministry friends. Teach like a child but levels are important to with mini games. You’re be amazed at the support in these days. Teen Ager’s and kids are like new baby’s. Give them milk. Now is the time to grab them. Socialism got my granddaughter and I have to grandsons whom are water baptized and are saved. Male virgins we are not street wise and I know Jesus angels are like this. They would dig it. I think this app is incredible, it has way more than I expected when I first downloaded it, at first I thought it was just a daily Bible verse app, as that’s just what I typed into the search bar, but it’s so much more than that, it has many different prayers for throughout the day, daily psalms and gospels, different Bible quizzes, and the entire Bible available to read and listen to as audio. I would rate it as a 5 stars, my only issue is the amount of ads, almost every time I open the app I get a 30 second ad, which is oddly always about gambling, and every minute or so I get another one of these. If there were less ads, or even no ads whatsoever, this app would be perfect

If time was or a lack of time to have fellowship with the Heavenly Father was or is keeping you disconnected to reading the Bible every day and also your prayer life. This is the app for you because it has a good daily reminder if you get the notifications and it has a step-by-step plan to help your prayer life become what you’ve always wanted to be. The app is fun with its quizzes and also the ability to pick and choose what scriptures you would like to read, and it also guide you along with daily quotations of the word that will help you have your life better your heavenly father, and get all the needs met by being faithful and dedicated ideal of worship.

Me personally this is a good digital bible to get

I’m somewhat not synced with the app, otherwise get proper updates. I keep getting the same quiz, over and over, instead of different ones, out of about six or seven different quizzes, there has been one of them at least forty times. Still learning my way through the whole app, not as easy as I hoped, and sometimes asking for information on the questions, seems more like fortune telling. I mean the parts where you ask a question and it gives you a circle to press, and then says something. ‘profound’ and it really isn’t.

I subscribed the 4.99 a month to remove the ads they took my money, but never removed the ads. When I emailed them about the issue, they asked me to send them proof and I gladly did. They have yet to respond to me. I have emailed them numerous times asking for a response. I thought the concept would be really awesome and I would’ve loved to keep this app, but the people who run it are frauds🤷‍♀️ They were quick to respond when I told them there was a problem, but when I gave them the proof, they are now ignoring me I’ve given it a bit before I wrote this review to see if they would rectify the situation, but they have not so I definitely would say do not subscribe to this app!!!! and now that I read the reviews, other people are having the same issue steer clear

I was reading the Bible just about every day. I was really enjoying the verses. I was about a month into it & when I returned the next day it came up to a different book in the Bible. I wasn’t that far so I was able to go back & find where I had left off. Now it has happened again. When I go back. All the books in the Bible I have read are marked like they were never read. I can’t keep up with where I was. I’m so disappointed because I had never sat down & read so much of the Bible. The Bible is hard to read & at times it’s hard to understand, but I don’t know how to keep the books I’ve marked as read from getting marked like I haven’t read them. Thank you, S. Soles

I have used and studied with this KJV Bible app for over a year now and it is part of my morning and evening routine. The daily verse along with Gospel and Poetry of the day is the best way to begin every day. If I have to choose a negative it would be like many apps today. The ads are absolutely annoying. Especially the ones for gambling and other “vices”. It definitely is in contradictory to the Bible App and its meaning. The other issue that I started having about 6-7 months ago is the inability to do the daily “quiz”. I loved this aspect of the app but one day it just stopped working and no update since has fixed it. If I could get my “quiz” section to work and have the ads geared towards Christian views I would give this 5 stars instead of 3.

For an app that’s supposed to better people it seems there’s a bigger focus then the point of this app. they care more about money from ads then people reading the bible and this is why you stick to the real book
