Not for JapaneseI would buy this app for Japanese or Chinese, as it doesn’t show the pronunciation of the kanji or stroke order, so it’s not helpful at all. Great for other languages which use an alphabet.Version: 2.0.5
Nice gamificationI've tried a few vocab apps and this one definitely has the most variety of ways it makes you practice the words. Multiple choice, matching, spelling given all the correct characters in a scrambled order, drag and select the right characters kinda like how you might unlock your phone, and probably something I'm forgetting. My only gripe is that the amount of time before the app prompts you with the correct answer or character is way too short. I'm seeing the word for the first time, give me more than 2 seconds to try and recognize it..Version: 2.1.3
Just OKI’ve been using this app to supplement my Spanish learning through duolingo and HelloTalk. I like being introduced to new words but I don’t find the techniques very useful for actual memorization or for remembering the words in conversation. The pictures used to represent the words are often strange and indecipherable. The audio is often difficult to understand. This could be a good app, but it needs quite a bit of improvement..Version: 2.1.3
