Fun game that can be improvedI really do enjoy playing cafe remix. I’m part of a great team and we usually are able to get all the rewards for a team event fairly quickly. I love the puzzle designs, the art style is unique and cute, and we are given new orders very regularly. One of the biggest suggestions I can offer is that more puzzles should be designed to be solved WITH an event Pokémon. It is cool to get a new Pokémon, recently like Flareon and Vaporeon, but it’s pretty obvious playing through the levels that they are all designed to be solved by a non-event Pokemon, that is, by Pokémon you get through normal gameplay and unlocking new recipes. While I understand it is so that players that were not able to get the event Pokémon, or players that were not playing when the event happened, I think it would make event pokemon much more valuable if there were some levels that are made for event pokemon’s gimmicks, with non-event pokemon being the next best choice that can still get the order done without having all the gimmicks locked down. Another suggestion I have is giving us more rewards for cumulative staff level / number of staff. I don’t understand why the rewards stop at a fairly early number. It would make training and getting more staff members much more incentivized. But overall I think the game is very fun and enjoyable, and with these changes, it can be even better. Really funIt’s a pretty amazing game, sure they’re transactions but it’s just really relaxing to play time to time. I rarely find myself losing all my hearts and it’s really easy to get all the characters along without falling behind on any. It’s really cute to see people saying they’re stuck at level 24. I’m at level 410 and yeah, there can be really tough levels but isn’t that kinda the point? It’s a opened ended puzzle game which requieres fast movement and strategical thinking. I always find myself thinking how I should use my moves. There’s a lot of different objectives and it really makes me think of how I should do them. For example in some levels there can be a “make a 25 combo” so instead of always using the most common pokemon, I use the other ones and wait until there’s enough of the one I’m aiming for to get the combo and beat the objective. It also incorporates movement. Some people might think you just move your fingers around fast and beat your objectives. But going slow is really helpful. If you go slow the Pokemon are more likely to not move from where they’re and and you’ll be able to hit more targets. As well as trying to hit bubbles (bubbles need to be hit next to a combo for the thing inside them to be free) instead of swirling around it crazy and hoping it works, going slow and moving around the bubbles can get things grouped up more and easier to defeat with a skill. It’s just a flat out enjoyable game to play. The art style is adorable and all the characters having different skill cutscenes is amazing. Great game overallI have seen some reviews on this game saying ‘I can’t get past level 20’ ‘it was cute at first but then I couldn’t get past this level without using a power up’ or whatever. I also had trouble on a couple of levels, but what fun is an easy game??? They put power ups in the game for a reason and unlike other games they are relatively easy to obtain. The artwork is really nice and cute. I too thought it would be easy just from looking at the video of connecting the Pokémon icons, but boy was I wrong. You only have 4 seconds to put the icons you want together and you have to plan out every move if you want to beat the level. I really like how no level is exactly the same and how you can change up any level just by changing the leader Pokémon. I’m not sure why people are giving this game one star when they obviously haven’t even given it a chance. I’m not sure how far in the game it is, but at some point you are able to start parties which in my opinion was a great idea. With parties you are able to refresh the 2 Pokémon you invite which allows you to get stars for the Pokémon you want to level up or make staff. This is hard, but that’s no reason to quit.I started playing this game pretty recently and it’s great! I’ve always like games where you can get new mechanics. Of course, most reviews here are about the game being too rad and them getting stuck on a level and therefore it’s a pay to win.... no, it really isn’t. There’s lots of ways to beat a level you’re stuck on. The first method is just repeating it over and over. This is one of the most boring ones but the one you mostly have to do. But don’t blame the game if you get bored waiting for lives to replenish. You’re the one who can do something fun while you wait. Maybe you can find some new hobbies while you wait. The second method is using the powers. I get that a lot of people hate using powers since there might be a harder level later on but if you keep that mindset then you’ll never use the powers. Of course, I would only use powers if I’m mostly sure that it won’t be a waste. Last one is really your last resort. Collect acorns via the daily rewards and get new Pokémon with party invitations. This is really is you’re REALLY stuck on a level. If you don’t have any powers or acorns left. Don’t rage quit just because you aren’t patient enough. And for all the people who claim that later levels are behind a paywall, it isn’t. I’ve passed a lot of them without spending a single cent. Although yes, some levels are frustrating and it’s good to save a few power ups for those stages. You can usually beat it after enough tries. The most creative and unique mobile puzzle game I’ve ever playedI have to say that I have gotten pretty used to seeing bad or mediocre games on the App Store. Many of these games can only entertain me for about a half hour at most, and it’s been really difficult to find a good mobile game that will satisfy me for a long time. However, this game has really come through for me. I have barely started playing and I’m already having a blast. The gameplay is very unique and addicting for a puzzle game nowadays. All too often I see games that try to copy other popular puzzle mobile games from the past like Candy Crush or Toon Blast, or just use an already existing puzzle game that has been in the world for at least a few decades or more. But Pokémon Cafe Mix says, “Screw all of that mediocrity. Let’s make a unique puzzle game that won’t bore someone in 10 minutes!” And it works. Instead of doing something seen common in puzzle games, like matching up shapes for example, you take a Pokémon icon and swirl it around, trying to connect it with other matching icons. You can do various things with this function, like wrapping a trail of Pokémon icons around sugar cubes to break them down. Not only is this gameplay fun, it makes you feel like you are actually cooking things in a cafe. And to make this experience closer to being a Pokémon game, you get to have Pokémon join you to help out in the cafe, so it’s like catching Pokémon! All in all, this is a rare and entertaining experience so I highly suggest you install it to see what it has in store. Edited: Worth the Wait❤️I first downloaded the game when it had technical difficulties during tutorial. I redownloaded the game after those problems were fixed. ABSOLUTELY WORTH THE WAIT!!!😄❤️ The characters, good, and cafe are so adorable and creative. The levels are really easy at first, but around level 100, it becomes challenging in a fun way. The levels are hard to beat without boosts sometimes, which needs acorns, which then leads to real money. But if you wait for the daily logins, you can beat the level eventually without using real money. If you’re pretty impatient and want to beat the level ASAP, that’s prolly when you need to use real money. I have some suggestions, which is it needs more levels ASAP. I played the game for 6 days now, and I’m already done with all 250 available levels and am currently in Master Cafe Mode. However, since it requires only 50 stars to get 30 Master Points, what about those who have over 150+ stars? There should be a Master Cafe Competition similar to the Grand Prix. What will they do with it next...I keep looking forward to which new visitor will enter the cafe, or when another dish gets added to the menu. Some gimmicks are definitely more difficult to work with than others (the movement-based ones like tomatoes and milkshakes in particular) but I haven’t had to use many boosters so far. In the future, will we see seasonal events? Have the cafe all decorated, replace some of the foods with themed variants, and complete special orders for Delibird in the Christmas event or Floette in the Spring one. As for the menu, we still need some kind of mixed juice drink, as well as an omelette and a crepe. I’d love to see characters like Pancham and Machamp as future customers. (NEW EDIT) I had put this game down for quite a while, but the remix has definitely added some replay value. I do have one suggestion for the Points Events, however: once you’ve earned the cookies, there’s no real reason to go for the rest of the progress bar just to get a few basic boosters. How about something like a special outfit for the featured Pokémon at the end of the bar? Examples for the two Points Events so far could be the Leah’s Memory uniform (as in from the opening video) for the first, and the Swift Courier cap and satchel for the second. Other than that, here’s an idea for a new gimmick: Cotton Candy-Drop the bag of sugar into the top of the machine, then make matches next to the fluffs that pop out! EDIT: When will the delivery function get some new kitchen notes? Simple at first, but...Pokémon Cafe Mix is a game where you connect the same Pokémon icons and clear gimmicks (ingredients) to finish an order. On my first day of getting the game, I got to order 110, before I had to stop playing. I spent only a bit of my acorns and had at least 8,000 acorns for acing each order the first time. As I started playing more, the orders got more difficult, and it was turning into a pay-to-play game. A few days after playing, I won 10,000 acorns for getting first place on a Grand Cafe Prix, and spent that all for extra moves on orders. I know it sounds stupid, spending all those acorns on extra moves, but the orders had requirements that were hard to meet. This is an example: In order to complete this order, you have to get 10 tomatoes in the basket, clear all the honey blocking the basket (and honey multiplies, so..), take out 16 dollops of whipped cream from piping bags, AND get a score of at least 50,000. I don’t think this is an actual order, but still! I usually have to buy extra moves (which cost 900 acorns the first time and increases if you need more moves for the order) just to clear ONE SINGLE ITEM. You can see how my acorns can get wiped in one day. I started to rely on the daily rewards to get through the orders, getting me past one level a day, so I deleted the app not one week after downloading it. Fun at first but becomes increasingly frustratingI was attracted to the game through the cute visuals and I love puzzle games, which it definitely delivers. What starts off as a fun breezy game quickly turns frustrating because at a certain point it plays into the players want to complete the level. It really lowers the amount of turns you have and If you run out of turns you can either buy more time or start over but you only have limited chances to do so or buy lots of special items from the shop to help your game. It’s incredibly easy to buy something out of frustration if you’re not careful (in-game currency is also incredibly steep & stingy) It’s natural for a puzzle game to be challenging as the game goes on and it’s also natural for a game like this to have an incentive to make money, I understand that, but it’s still easy to get caught up in and get burned out because gosh darn it that Eevee in the little hat is just so cute. Cafe Mix also has group events and a dwindling player base so depending on the team you pick (which is also a gamble tbh) the event could go smoothly or it could be a continuous uphill hellish battle. Cute at first but...This game has style, aesthetics, and charm; and I was really enjoying it at first but what bothers me from fully enjoying it: is how insanely hard the puzzles get later on! This game quickly adds new mechanics about every 5-10 orders and I’ve been dreading every new one that comes for the sheer amount of difficulty they bring. I wanted to get as far as I could in the game to get my favorite Pokémon as soon as I could, but the puzzles get so tough I worry playing for free won’t be enough. What I mean is, the only way to get new Pokémon is to complete as many puzzles as the game throws at you. And the game encourages you to get good in order to keep playing: At first I liked how the stamina system only goes down per every loss and not attempt, but that means the more you struggle, the less you get to play; and if you want to CONTINUE playing is where the literal “Pay to Win” strategy comes into play. I had hoped this game would be as chill and relaxing like the cafe environment was leading up to be, but the difficult puzzles that prevent you from advancing or getting your favorite Pokémon make this game a kitchen nightmare, at least for casual players like me. Pretty please rework Additional OrdersFirst, I want to say that this game is a lot of fun and you should just download it already. The visuals are adorable, the gameplay is fun, and the progression system is very rewarding, you never have to pay a cent to unlock mostly everything. But around Order 150, this little notification popped up, informing me that I’d unlocked a brand new feature called Additional Orders! Now, for the cost of 500 Golden Acorns, I can take another order from the previous Pokémon for the same reward. While this is very helpful in certain situations, since the Additional Order takes up a normal order slot, it’s just become a real pain. Unlocking this basically forced me to choose between 2 orders instead of 3. Since you can buy five Stamina for 900 acorns, spending acorns on the Additional Order is hardly ever worth it. Awesome, but there’s a concern.I absolutely love this game, starting from Eevee to lots of other cute Pokémon in the game! And the special gimmicks that were added into the remix made this game a whole lot easier! However, there is one thing that I would like to confess about the events. I know about the Pokémon included in those events, and the other things as well, but I have a question. Can certain events return, such as the Snorlax event? And the main reason why I’m saying this is because I missed an event, Lost Alolan Vulpix. (Ok, I know this sounds really dumb. But there is something else about this.) I’m starting to worry if the Pokémon in the events are ONLY accessible that way, and nothing else. So I’m asking you. Can you make the previous events a bit more frequent, or can you please remind us when a new event is coming out? Game improvement to deteriorationI have played this game since before the big update and still continue to play now because I love that its a Pokémon game that isn’t centered around battling. There are exclusives for the franchise just playing this game, it truly is a gem. Throughout the past year though, they have taken away any real meaning of the deliveries. It used to be you would at least get a tart instead of a single point towards a tart. I get that you can use the points to buy the tarts from the shop but what’s the point?? It was so much better with actual delivery gifts since the odds of actually receiving a Pokémon outfit are literally .01%. Another thing I’ve noticed is that there aren’t anymore orders being released. There hasn’t been news about it in quite some time. The company USED to be very diligent on making new orders that came out at least twice a month or so. INSTEAD they have come up with what they think is a “brilliant” idea of “Slow-Cooking” and it is the single worst concept you could apply to the game. Why would I want to play through 3 whole orders, only get 3 stars (not even) and they’re all the same general stupid hard orders and if you want any chance of even hitting 5 mil with your score you’ll need to just hope luck is on your side because deliveries don’t do their justice anymore. Slow-cooking is so awful to the point where I’ve almost just stopped playing the game because it’s not worth it or enjoyable at that point. Yeah “fever frenzy” was added but seriously just trash the whole concept please. The time and effort could be used to make more orders to play through not a silly little event where half the Pokémon aren’t even obtainable and the ones that are require you to play all day. I mean that literally. Amazing game I really enjoyed! Just some suggestions...Overall, I’m really pleased and pretty impressed! This game is very unique, addicting, cute, and challenging! For the most part, I enjoy the recent update. I don’t like how they always make u challenge the 3 star challenge, I wish it was optional. Also, I think it would be really cool if we could have a chat message for people on our teams so we could communicate with them. Also I wish I didn’t have to start from lvl 1 when it updated and told me everything I already knew in the first several orders. But... some things I liked about the update... To Expensive and Little TurnsI love this game, a lot. It’s super fun to play, I love the details and art work! And what’s best is to get more Pokémon to do more abilities! But the only problem, is how expensive it is to continue the puzzle, not a lot of turns, pumpkin problem, and the ways that Pokémon do their abilities. 1. I was super close to beating a level, and then I lost. No big deal! But, I wanted to continue it, but I had to waste 900 freaking tokens to only do one more move. It’s super annoying. 2. The amount of turns that the game gives you on VERY HARD LEVELS is super annoying. At least give us like 15 or something, not 7. 3. Pumpkin Problem. I hate how I have to get two freaking combos, just to get all the pumpkin away. It should’ve been like the others where you have to only do it one time, not two. 4. I’ve seen EVERY Pokémon I have do their ability. But what bothers me most, is when you’re not able to move the ability the way you want it to. Great game! One problem (on Remix, I didn’t play mix)This game is great so far! I’ve only had it a few days but so far I’m really liking the progression and difficulty. I like how the progression isn’t linear, but that I can choose my own path and who I want to serve. There is so much content and stuff to do so far (orders for Pokémon, training, orders from the old game, and redoing orders to get 3 stars has its own section!) plus the game is so cute! My one complaint is that I can only do 5 orders in one sitting. Why?! When I sit down to play this game I’m quickly disappointed that I can only play 5 different times before having to quit. Could you please make it to where we can hold more stamina? Or make the timer to get new stamina shorter? PLEASE don’t make it pay to get though. I suggest a permanent side quest line of orders that, once completed, reward you with more stamina holders or less time to recharge. Thx for your time! Kinda gets old after awhile..So I was super exited when this came out, as anyone, but as soon as I reached level 11 I got pretty bored. Maybe you guys could add like some mini games or another section for the café so it’s not just the same thing over and over again. But it also has its good sides, and I’m going to talk about the things that I think don’t need improvement but I guess can always be better. I like how the Pokémon are drawn, it puts a lot of.. how do I say it.. personality in the game. It make it more childish and cute. I also like the gameplay. It’s pretty fun and it’s good to play when your bored and just want something to do. Also a good game for a short bus ride or subway ride. Awesome game!!!!This game has some really cute pokemon in it with a fun design that makes it look hand drawn. A few suggestions could be to make the monkey pokemon look better. For some reason they are all really ugly. If they started adding like, a dex to keep progress and more shiny Pokemon. As a shiny hunter, I think it would be fun to add a small chance for any pokemon to be shiny. If literally every single pokemon was in the game, 5star pokemon were easier to get, and pokemon in general were easier to get, that would really help. And to make it to where you don’t have to make purchases for passes and special costumes. Also it would be fun if every single month there was a new area to the cafe. The final thing would be to add more actual characters, including yourself, team crunch and Lea are fun but new characters and trainers would be cool. LoveThis game is fantastic. The aesthetic is adorable. The gameplay is addictive. I loved learning how to perfectly maneuver and figure out how to beat a level. I’ve played through all the levels. The difficulty level is perfect for an adult player. There is no reason at all to pay real money for anything. You can easily save up Acorns for extra moves or to refill your stamina bar for more attempts. There are only a few select levels that drive me nuts. But that’s easily remedied by the available power ups and extra moves you can spend the acorns on. I’m sad that I now have to wait for new orders now. Once you play through everything, you get to play old levels over again for extra points to spend on power ups or an exclusive Pikachu/Eevee. You end up playing the same levels over and over. Good game, cute artSo originally I played this game before the major rehaul they did. I ended up dropping it because I got busy with work, but I still liked the game. On another account, I even managed to get celebi and shiny celebi, which made me happy cause I love celebi. It’s a nice enough game, pretty simple. You genuinely DONT have to pay to get further in the game. But I miss one feature that the other version of the game used to have. If you finished an order with more moves left, you got acorns back based on the moves. Now if you get 3 stars on the order, you get 80 acorns total. If you say, finished an order with ten moves left, you would get 10 acorns per move. I miss that. The art is cute. There’s no real plot or “reason” to play it, other than it being cute and a way to kill time. Great game!I love this game! I would like some adjustments, but this game is wonderful! It would be nice if there is not a star requirement. I do a menu item, but there are not enough moves for me to properly complete it. It does not help that the Pokémon has no specialty to make the round easier. So I complete it enough to be worth a 2 star, but instead I get 1 star. This then does not let me proceed until I beat the levels I can not previously or currently get a better score due to my Pokémons’ skill and level. I do not like to repeatedly try the level, only to fail the same way. Doing this provides little to no rewards such as finally turning a 2 star to a 3 star, then only getting one heart or cookie and only 1 star of the 50 needed or something alike. It’s good but eh.So, let’s get the good stuff out of the way first. (I played the switch port.) The games fun, art styles nice, (but you’ve probably heard that a thousand times from the reviews) and it’s a solid game. However, this game’s difficult, and that would have been fine, if the game didn’t have to make you use 100% of your brain. I get it, it’s a puzzle game, it’s suppose to get difficult over time, but, it pushes it a little beyond to the point where you either use power ups or lose. And 900 golden acorns for 3 more moves... I don’t know about you, but it’s a little hard to get 900 acorns out of thin air without coughing up some cash. Which leads to my next point, it’s not super free to play friendly. Yeah you can stockpile your acorns and try to save them, but there’s always those moments where you need to decide ‘Do I use my acorns to get that last tomato into the basket? Or, do I accept defeat?’ This game has potential, but, it’s underlined by too much difficulty. Great game, however...Yes, the game is adorable. Yes, it’s supposed to be challenging. But given the amount of moves on certain levels, you don’t have enough. As with level 24, you have to clear the whipped cream as well as get the tomatoes all the way across the board within 10 moves. You can say I’m upset because I can’t complete the level, but I’ve tried multiple times to no avail. I think at least 15-20 moves for the tougher levels would be better instead of 10. The amount of golden acorns that you spend to get more moves is, in my opinion, pricey. Maybe instead of getting 3 moves, we get 5 moves? Complaints aside, I really do love this game. I appreciate the time that was taken to put every little detail into it. The Pokémon are cute and so is the art style. It makes the game so “warm and fuzzy”, if you will. Pay to PlayI really wanted to like this game. I saw it was coming out and I got my sister interested in it too. We both loved it at first but once you reach level 50 things start to go down hill. The levels become so complex and unforgiving that you basically have to spend money in order to get anywhere in the game which is sad considering the game just came out and we are already frustrated with it. It reminds me of a Disney island game I played with similar mechanics and problems. Just like that game I eventually became too frustrated to continue playing it and am not gonna waste my time and money. Adorable Pokémon, frustrating gameplayFirst off, this game is adorable. The art style is relaxing, the Pokémon are as cute as ever, and the idea for the gameplay is unique and interesting. But, the actual gameplay is pretty horrible. Once you get to about level 25, there are about 50 things you need to keep track of and only ~10 moves to complete it. Get rid of the cream puffs, get the tomatoes to the bottom, get this much of a score, all at once of course, whatever. It really wouldn’t be so bad if we had more moves at the START of the level, you know like more than 10 (without having to pay, in game money or actual money), and if those creampuffs were less than 3 moves, preferably 1. The sugar already takes multiple moves! Why should there be another multiple move gimmick? There in a glitch I would love to be fixed!First, I want to address a Costume Glitch. I will select the special costume for my Pokémon but the costume will only SOMETIMES work. More often it will default to the starting red outfit. Delivery needs workI’ve been playing this game since before the remake, and I LOVE it. I still do. I have almost every Pokémon on my staff. Except Victini. Even with this “increased chance” to get Victini, it is still less than a 1% chance to get it, and after 10 days of being released, plus the other ten days where it still appeared on the delivery option, I still did not get it. That is absolutely ridiculous to deliver over 30 times (I spent many acorns on express delivery) and still not get the Pokémon that is supposed to be easier to get. An increased chance should be increased to at least 5% during their appearance, not 0.45% or 0.75%. I almost stopped playing at how frustrating it was. I got pachirisu on my first delivery, who has not even been a delivery target, yet somehow can’t get Victini. Overall love this game but it’s beginning to upset me..A_h_xoVersion: 2.50.0

SuggestionsOk first off, I just want to say that this a very good game. The puzzles aren’t too easy or difficult, the Pokémon themselves are really cute, and it’s really fun. But I have a suggestion. Leveling up Pokémon can be difficult, especially when you have to level up Pokémon from 1 to 11(lots of exp. needed for that) So maybe, when you get three stars for a puzzle, then it gives your Pokémon 30 exp. instead of 10. This will give players a head-start when leveling up Pokémon for the menu. Or maybe toning down the exp. needed for each level. Like, instead of 1200 exp. needed for level 10, have maybe have 600 exp. needed instead. I also have a suggestion about repeat events. I know there are people who didn’t get Greedy Greedent because of inactive teams, so maybe having a repeat event in the future will give people a chance to get Greedent..The StarFoxVersion: 2.20.0

A fun game, but the one-minute cooking events are cancerI really do like this game. It has a cute art style, the base gameplay itself is fun, it’s not too challenging, and the monetization largely doesn’t affect your ability to do well. But the one-minute cooking events are awful. They were a fun idea when they were faster with Ditto, but after that point, they have become unbearable. While some of the QoL changes were definitely warranted, they have changed the mode entirely and it’s no longer fast-paced. You’re just at the mercy of the gimmicks, and if you don’t have a Pokémon that can cover those gimmicks, you’re in for a world of pain. And lucky you, they live to hide the best Pokémon for these events behind the delivery gacha. The events themselves have also gotten progressively worse. The first Mewtwo event was challenging, but with the right team and time, you could net all the rewards. The second Mewtwo event was pointless as it just recycled a Pokémon that already appeared and added the god-forsaken Sidekick Candies that are too expensive for how little they actually benefit you. Even with Mewtwo already recruited from the first event, I wasn’t able to get enough points for the tarts. And now, the current Dialga event is what has solidified this mode as pure terrible. The absolute most devious gimmicks were chosen with the tea being the crowning jewel of awful. If you don’t have something that can cover the tea, you may as well give up now. And on top of all this, they expect you to be able to get enough coins to recruit Dialga, collect all its cookies, get the Sidekick Candies, get the 11x delivery ticket, get the acorns, get the stamina, and maybe if you’re lucky, the tarts. Trying to do all that within an 11 day timeframe is going to be borderline impossible. Couple that with the fact that the mode itself is already bad and this may just be an event I don’t want to do. I died 5 times better wait 3 hours to play againThe game gets incredibly hard constantly adding more and more crap for you to deal with rather than just make you need higher scores. And you get to wait 30 minutes a life so if you mess up 5 times you can try again in a few hours. The slow lives are what really cripple this game. You will be stuck in one level for days at a time because you only get 5 attempts. It also always feels like the only way to beat levels is straight up paying for extra turns or buying power ups. Amazing game, just almost ads every few minutes.I don't have much to say, it's just so fun! The mechanics are very well made and it feels relaxing. Although there are a couple problems. First of all, after a while the dialogue feels repetitive. Theirs no real story because every time you get a new Pokémon, it's the exact same dialogue, and there's no more dialogue besides that. Cute art style but...The game isnt too bad at first but after getting to about 60 orders I have found it extremely difficult to complete anything without spamming paid for/ earned power ups. The worst stages are the tomato stages because where they move is very difficult to control. Ive wasted all my turns on a tomato or two just because nothing I would do could move it from its position enough in the what feels like too short timespan. Its not as enjoyable anymore because the levels have gotten stressful. I’ve had combo buffs spawn in between things that cant be moved and gotten screwed over that way (hopefully something that will get fixed). Ive also had chains get stuck inbetween things preventing me from completing the rest of it. I have also had times where the game would select something next to where I was aiming for. I love the game, but...I really like this game and everything that it includes, but the levels are so darn hard once you get to like level 30. The levels beyond level 20 are really hard, and the game doesn’t give me enough moves so I have to use a lot of power-ups to finally get pass the level. Hoping for changeI’ve played this game since beta. I was so excited to find a cute puzzle game that’s not spammy like candy crush type games. I loved the normal puzzle paths and getting new ones over time and being able to earn rewards when all current puzzles are completed. But then they introduced the timed puzzles, and if you don’t play the timed ones you can’t get new Pokémon. The problem with these is that they aren’t even puzzles anymore, there’s no strategy, it’s just moving things around as fast as you can in hopes for points. I’m not good at these so it takes me days on days on days to just get the first Pokémon reward, and then somehow I have to figure out how to get the cookies too. This all then takes away from the actual puzzle part of the game that I like playing, so I can’t build up current Pokémon or get shiny encounters when the timed event is taking place. (Or I’d have to sacrifice not getting the current Pokémon which then would make puzzles harder in the future). I don’t want to quit this game, I want it to be what it was before but it’s getting to the point where the time grind just isn’t fun and the cost of not playing it messes with the fun parts I like. Used to be funI used to play this game every day since before it updated to the remix version, over 2 years. Unfortunately since then each update seems to make it progressively worse and more and more pay-to-play. Don’t get me wrong, I love the base game, the puzzles are good and never get too difficult, the art and animations are adorable, that part of the game is legitimately good! But they don’t seem interested in actually having people play that part of the game anymore. There are constant events that require huge amounts of time and energy to complete so you spend all your energy on those instead, the delivery system essentially turns this into a gatcha game where they try and push you to spend money for a very tiny chance at getting the pokemon you want. Instead of adding new pokemon they added outfits, which is mostly just disappointing. When new Pokémon are released, it’s in the delivery feature or monthly battle pass that you have to pay for. Events seem to only hand out outfits instead of Pokémon now. The one-minute cooking event is exactly the opposite of the base game, rushing to maximize points instead of a relaxing puzzle, and that’s most of the events now. The actual parts of this game that I love have slowly been buried under typical gatcha game and battle pass tactics to try and get your money, and it slowly requires more each month if you want to stay on top of new releases (I would know, I did for over 2 years). Unfortunately there isn’t much reason for me to play anymore. Be aware if you intend to be a f2p player, doubly so if you don’t have a lot of free time for mobile games, you will be missing out on a lot of the releases..CelozonVersion: 3.90.0

A great game!I have watched Pokémon ever since I was 5 and I love it still to this day! Plus what even more frustrating, is that I need about 50 acorns to get THREE more moves!! Make another way to get acorns other than just daily rewards! Even if you win a level, you have to wait to get more energy once it runs out. You can upgrade the amount of energy you can have at max (which is 10) if you’re okay with making a purchase. Also this game does so much FOMO (fear of missing out) so the game can have you spend money on like a pass or golden acorns to get limited edition Pokémon that might come back. Yes the art style is adorable but that’s the big problem. With the game relying way too much on the fear of missing out, the game wants people to spend real money to hopefully get the Pokémon (or Pokémon variant) and to me that just feels manipulative. I am not uninstalling the game. But for now, I’m just gonna log in to get my daily bonus and then log back out. Gets worse every updateI once left a favorable review for this game about half a year ago. The puzzles themselves are fine, though they’ve gotten substantially easier with each new release of puzzles. My issue is that this game has turned into nothing but a massive cash grab. You’re bombarded with these stupid one minute cooking events that are a massive slog without paying for premium. Challenges relating to the OMC events require such high scores that only veteran players and people paying for premium are at all likely to be able to achieve them (talking scores of 6 mil and more). This brings me to my next point, the monthly premium track. When I first started playing, I thought the premium option was insanely overpriced for a fairly bare bones puzzle game, but I wasn’t too mad, because it just made the game easier and allowed you to get special outfits — nothing you explicitly need to do well in the game. They used to periodically add goals that would allow you to hire new Pokémon and make new recipes, but they haven’t done that in two months or so. Now, the premium track is still stupidly expensive, but you’re not just getting outfits, they’re hiding Pokémon behind that paywall — the Pokémon you used to be able to earn by playing the game, as best I can tell. So, if you want to catch ‘em all, you’ve got to pay. Worse yet, the absurd premium fee doesn’t even guarantee you the rewards from the premium track. Heaven forbid you go on vacation after shelling out for premium, because then you’ll have to pay even more real world money to buy your way through the rewards and not waste your initial 7 bucks for premium. I actually used to throw some money at the game when it wasn’t pay to win, but now I’m definitely not giving these greedy jerks anymore money, and I’m thinking of uninstalling the game. Horrible New EventI love this game, but I hate this new event. Taking away the ability to use regular stamina and locking refreshes for the event-only stamina is an extremely limiting mechanic. I am now unable to binge play without spending money (which I won’t do for a stamina refresh). My regular stamina has become worthless and just doesn’t get used because I like to only play the events. All of my stored stamina refreshes from passes have been devalued because I can’t use them for event play anymore. This mechanic also takes away the flexibility of playing more on some days and less on others. You’re stuck because of the stamina mechanic. I liked the way it was before because I could plan when to play and finish an event alongside my own busy life. Now I’m just stuck. My other issue with the event is the point multipliers. I haven’t done the math for the full event yet, but they had better not turn out to be necessary to completing the event. Was very good, now kinda badI actually like most of the changes/additions to the game when it updated from Mix to Remix. The problem is the new stamina system and how aggressive the game new game tries to push players into spending money. If you’re good/practiced at the puzzles, the newly introduced stamina system only lets you play the game a couple of minutes at a time or spend in game currency. The gauge only going up to five slots is far from enough. If this system were to stay, there needs to be a default of at least 10 slots and have permanent expansion options via purchase. The devs thought speeding up recovery would be a viable solution but it’s hardly enough. The shortness of the gauge leads to a very unsatisfying playing experience. And then spending in-game currency for just FIVE more puzzles? This leads me to the next major problem… The premium items/perks to purchase are far too expensive for their value. When I’m enjoying a game, I often spend a few dollars every month for enjoyment of play and encouraging the devs. Nothing in the updated shop is worth the money they’re asking for. It’s also a huge turnoff now that paying in-game currency is the way to navigate much of the game (eg: paying to unlock levels for playable characters). Pay-to-win is taking overI don’t mind throwing a few dollars at a game pass or a character I really want, but lately everything feels way too expensive. Events and the gacha system are basically locked behind spending now. I get that microtransactions keep the game running, but it shouldn’t feel like the only goal. When things turn into pay-to-win, it usually means trouble is coming. Just look at how badly Nikki Infinity burned their community when the devs chased microtransactions over player loyalty. I’ll keep playing for now, but I don’t feel good about spending money anymore, especially with how uncertain things are financially these days. Kids also play this game, and while you warn them about spending, it’s clear the real target is adults. Don’t alienate your player base. The bones of the game earns 5-stars. However, the events are overwhelmingly frequent with a setup that feels like you can’t succeed without spending a lot of money. Don’t be fooled by appearances.The art style and overall concept of this game are great, but it’s hard to appreciate them when the game has an abhorrent difficulty problem. If anything, I was expecting this game to be a little too easy, since that would still make it a fun, relaxing experience. Instead, I’ve had to deal with what is probably the hardest Pokémon game ever made. Many of the levels are so hard that they seem to be impossible without using power-ups or assists, which defeats the whole purpose of having a puzzle game. It’s difficult to prepare for these puzzles because the difficulty is very inconsistent. Sometimes the next level will be very easy, then sometimes it will be so hard that you won’t be able to beat it on your first try. There’s no way of knowing the difficulty of the next level so all you can do is pray... or pay money. This game honestly feels like you have to pay to win. In order to get more hearts or more power-ups, you’ll have to pay money, since the game doesn’t give you nearly enough to get through some of the harder levels. It honestly feels like the game was made so that you have to pay money to progress, and if that was intentional, that’s extremely scummy and disappointing. If not, then it needs to be fixed before a majority of the player base decides to leave this game for one that’s actually enjoyable without paying money. In short: add more turns to levels. The game clearly doesn’t give you enough to progress. While you’re at it, get rid of the hearts system as well.
