Great so farI’ve been looking for an app that will allow me to support small businesses more easily. This app works a bit like an Etsy clone, with pictures of products sorted by category. There are many different sellers which are already enrolled, so you have variety in the kinds of products offered. The app has a shopping cart and a convenient wishlist feature. The UI is clean and easy to navigate. I haven’t experienced any bugs or hangups while using it. Looking forward to purchasing gifts and beauty products soon..Version: 2.7.30
Nice concept but poor UIComing from a UX/UI designer standpoint, I downloaded the app just to see what sort of products would be on there, and to get a feel for this app in case I’d ever considering buying anything. because I do love supporting small businesses, specifically black owned businesses when I can. But, unfortunately, the layout is so cluttered and confusing and it also is not favorably compatible with my iPhone 13. A lot of buttons are not clickable or functional — just because of where they are positioned on the screen. I would really love to see this app have a “makeover” and starting with a new UI. I feel like that would make the experience so much more enjoyable. It’s an amazing concept, and I commend the developer for doing all of this, but it just seems like it’s time for the app to get a visual update..Version: 4.4
Great app great creator!I love this app! The creator is always striving to make it more usable. The layout is good and it’s easy to find the products you want! The best part is the shops take 100% of the product! It’s an incredible way to support black owned businesses and grow your small business (if you open a shop which you should). The creator added a function that shows newer shops at the top so EVERYONE is able to get sales. I can’t say enough good things :).Version: 2.8
Great Customer Service, Needs Some tech workI love Miiriya! It’s such an easy way to connect with Black businesses I would’ve never seen! And the customer service is amazing!!! I know they’re probably already working on it, but there is some issues with navigating the app. It can be a bit glitchy, and you have to search a couple different ways to see all the products (like if I’m looking for jackets, I need to search jackets, and coats, and outerwear, etc.). Regardless, I will keep using this app! A super valuable resource!.Version: 3.1
The app and owner are terrific!So the other night, I saw Bri’s Bakery come across through Miiriya’s app and I decided to place an order. There were technical issues but reached out to Miiriya directly and she got them resolved very efficiently. My order came last Saturday and those brownies are some kind of delicious! Great conceptI love how easy you’ve made it to browse the directory of Black owned businesses! A suggestion, if not too difficult, is to perhaps make a featured page or a landing page that has some examples of products rather than making the shopper choose a category as soon as opening the app. Sometimes people just want to browse! And my only problem is I can’t make a purchase, the app froze as soon as I placed my order. :-( Looking forward to some performance enhancements..Version: 2.7.19
Great Idea that Could Be Improved!I love the idea of having an app that is only showing products from black on businesses! I just wish it was a little easier to use and that you could go to the seller’s pages to see all of the products from each vendor so you could easily see who you are buying the products from, as it feels a little ambiguous and sketchy the way it is currently designed..Version: 2.7.33
Never fails meMiiriya has been a really easy way to shop black owned business. They have had everything I’m looking for for myself, family, gifts and a few great finds that I didn’t know I needed like being shipped homemade treats and desserts !!!! 10/10.Version: 3.3
Great but could use a couple fixesLove the concept, and there are so mamny amazing products to choose from! One thing though is I wish that I was able to see the name and visit the page of the sellers, so that I can see more of their products if desired. Ex. This is black marketed not black owned productsAlthough there’s a decent selection of black owned there’s so many products on here that aren’t black owned at all. I was disappointed to see so many non black owned companies on here. Cantu, Carols Daughter, Shea Moisture, Cream of Nature, Dark & Lovely, Eco Style, none of these are black owned and the list goes on. If there was a separate section for non black owned products that would more appreciated cause it’s giving ppl the false idea that those companies are black owned..Version: 2.7.19

Amazing idea but...I love the creativity and sweat behind it to create this. In its working form I’d give it 5/5.... but the app seems to be completely unusable when I downloaded it. Can’t create an account, random white screens that force me to shut the app down, missing error messages for users to at least know what went wrong. That’s just my experience 🤷🏻♂️.Version: 2.7.19

This app is really good! Support BOB’s!The app is super good and I love the variety of vendors. The only thing I wish is that there was an option for conversion of major currencies! (I’m assuming that everything is USD, so seeing other conversions would help a bunch!). Also I find it’s buggy, in particular there is one store I really want to shop at but I can’t add to cart because every time I do it says product can’t be added to cart.
