The software really lags when you import a huge list which commonly works smoothly with a personally built socks server. I know China is not one of the regular places when judging a VPN. AdGuard VPN had been functioning properly a while ago but is getting less and less stable. It is common to see no available locations now. On Windows, I have a fallback v2ray server (based on completely free VPS, domain name, nat64 and CDN, so it not not going to be very reliable) which also helps it to connect to AdGuard servers. However on iOS, VPNs mostly cannot live together so the trick cannot be done and I haven’t figured out a walk-around..丏谷Version: 1.0.13

Most functional vpn on iOSI normally try to only use open source software wherever possible and I still use a wireguard vpn on my laptop but as far as an iOS vpn? This is by far the most functional one on the App Store. It's fast, easy to configure and as far as I've seen it's literally the only vpn on iPhone that has split tunneling. It works a little different than normal split tunneling but it still makes it possible to run this 24/7 without getting locked out of your banking apps, etc that normally block vpn connections. TBH I think you guys should really advertise this functionality more because I spent so much time trying to find a vpn that let me do this and I tried so many trials to so many other vpns and none of them had it but you guys. It works but not in all casesWell, the app seems to work for most of the cases, but in case when you use apps like Facebook it does not conceal your location. I can see that Facebook still see that I’m in USA even though the settings in the AdGuard VPN are set to a different location. Now even though I changed the location in the Facebook app somewhere in Europe it still sees as I’m located in USA so bunch of ads on my Facebook wall get based on my location. I mention that I have set the Facebook app to not have access to the location or anything like that. I tried different settings in the AdGuard VPN even in combination with AdGuard ads blocker and still not working to conceal the I.P. The ads are still coming in on different apps you might use on the iPad or iPhone. The issue is to block more than just web browser ads. Partially Broken by some updateOne of the recent updates appears to have completely broken the AdGuard adblocker & AdGuard VPN integration capability. The new VPN builds constantly connects/disconnects every few seconds. The only way to make it work it to manually is to disable the adblocker, then start the VPN, then re-start the adblocker after the VPN has completed it’s connection. It used to be a seamless integration when set to “integrated mode” and unfortunately now it appears broken. I followed their suggested to disable “restart protection when network changes” in AdGuard and that’s a decent workaround for now, but will be glad when it’s totally resolved to ensure the AdGuard remains fully functional when changing between various WiFi and cellular networks..F14wheelsVersion: 2.3.1

Just Fantastic!I tried many different vpns to get connected from US to Russia and vice versa and nothing worked stable and reproducible. After about a year of multiple switches between different VPNs I was advised to try AdGuard. To my surprise this resolved all the problems!!! Becoming more and More UnstableThis app was great when I first started using it a couple of years back; connections was more stable. Nowadays my vpn is disconnecting frequently, causing my internet connection to be really poor or unavailable. It is bad to the point now that I am unsure whether it stays connected enough to actually serve the purpose of a VPN. While I can connect to servers from different countries, many websites, including OpenAI, are often unavailable or work incorrectly. Connection stability - Incredibly slow - App looks good, Ninja characterer’s aestheticsIt pains me to give this app such a low review because I know, given some the time, these adGuard devs will knock this out of the park just like they did with their other products! So long as Apple can mind their own and not pull any of their weird stuff. However, it’s just not quite there in its current state. And I’d be very hard pressed to pay for the premium at this point in time. It seemed to be rolling pretty well but something was causing it to frequently get disconnected then connect again and so on and so forth. Which may have been causing the other issue of when it was able to get connected it was at extremely slow speeds and and sometimes unloaded and I had to get rid of it for now.! But I will be waiting on to come back and change this review once it’s where we expect it to be, in due time! Because as I mentioned, the app itself it’s looks very good!! I think it’s even cleaner looking than the original app(s). Which are vanity amazing! . The difference imo is the new face of the app. The ninja very cool footing backgtound . Updated review..This disconnects to such an extreme, saying the phrase “a lot” doesn’t do it justice. It can really slow your phone down. I question the reviews here, I’m not sure Apple would allow fake reviews but I’ve used this on two phones and my iPad and they all experience the same thing. I don’t experience what these reviews are saying, so these reviews to me are questionable. iMessage doesn’t work properly, when switching from WiFi to LTE, messages won’t come through until you either turn on and off airplane mode or connect to WiFi again. Same thing with emails, they don’t come through when switching, or sometimes in general, WiFi or not. FaceTime calls are garbage when on this vpn yet not with others, so it’s just this vpn. The good: it works with your Adguard Pro..but why wouldn’t they just add what Adguard does on their VPN? So many VPNs have ad blocking features and many other things, paying twice seems like a cash grab. There’s times where it does work though, and you see it’s potential, so that’s that. My experience with the AdGuard VPNFor over a week facing differences challenges with the VPN. First thing first. I am using AdGuard VPN on my phone (iOS) and my Dell laptop. When I initially installed the software all well, but for the past days issues are getting worst. Phone: — Sometime it connects and simply nothing works. I don’t have access to any websites, no social network working at all. In short, when the VPN is on my internet does not work, otherwise works fine. As a solution, I just disable it and wait a number of hours, sometimes over 2;h and then when reconnecting all works fine. — Sometime doesn’t connect at all. It gives an error of connections and simply rejects the connection. Computer: — Similar the issue #1 on the phone, with the computer, when I launch my window I set the VPN to switch on with the laptop OS. With the connection no issue at all and everything goes smoothly and it connects as well, it the issue is that the internet doesn’t connect with the VPN on, unless I restart the computer 3 to 5x (VERY INCONVENIENT). — Sometime it crashes and doesn’t connect at all. — Sometimes just like with the phone it the connect button simply doesn’t respond and as a solution need to restart the computer or wait hours and hours (VERY INCONVENIENT as well). In April of 2021, a paid user gave this app 1 star because the app asked for a rating before the user had a chance to use the app much. The *Developer Response* said that they had “passed this information to our developers so our developers can solve the problem!” So, the *Developer Response* wasn’t written by a developer. Maybe the devs figured that giving users an option not to provide a rating was solving the problem. I would not say that the app currently *forces* a rating, but the prompt for a rating came within one second of the first VPN connection. Also, the App Store info states that the free version has “limited functionality” with no further details as to what those limits are. Huge Drop In Quality LatelyWhen this app and service first rolled out I was more than happy to jump onboard and dump Proton VPN, it worked flawlessly all the time, every time. But a little by little later, the usability of this app/service has dropped to near zero. Keeps disconnectingWhile I am using apps such as Facebook, War of the Visions FFBE mobile game, gmail and safari. I noticed the Adguard VPN keeps disconnecting. While I am watching a stream video such as Crunchyroll apps. The video gets interrupted which causes disconnection. Also when I am playing a PC game or on my PS5. I received a DDoS attack. The website says having a VPN helps reduce and combat against DDoS attacks. Since my IP address is hidden. This prevents DDoS attack from crashing my PC or PS5. But because Adguard VPN is unstable keeps being disconnected while using an Apps or while using my iphone, PC and PS5. Very disappointedI have been having issues for this product for quite some time now. I’ve had spoken to AdGuard support about this issue many times since it had started way back when. Doesn’t workThe browser will say you’re in another country but the phone doesn’t. Apps still recognize your location and the whole point of a VPN is to change your location. Doesn’t actually work.
