5 Star Review with a little feedbackI really enjoy the service. It does provide a huge amount of content. I would say that there is no separation between being on the free vs + subscription in regards of how the app operates. There is also no “my list” option to create your own list of shows/novelas you watch. The other thing I have had a huge problem w/ is the search option, I can search “Que le pasa” and the novela I am looking for will not appear, but a bunch of other programs will. If I write “Que le pasa a” the novela appears (Que le pasa a mi familia), but if I type “Que le pasa a mi” the novela does not appear. Hope they can figure out a fix for the issues above. Good but some suggestionsI really like this app. Has tons of good novelas for free. Lots of reviews are saying there’s too much ads but i don’t mind them they’re not too long and I understand there has to be ads for it to be free. The problem with this app is that there’s no search bar to search for the novelas or movies you want to watch or are watching. You have to look through all the sections to find them instead of searching. Another problem you should be able to have a watch list where you add what show you are watching or want to watch, i’m currently watching a novela and would like to be able to get to it through a list, I know you’re able to do that with movies but with shows you are only able to add episodes to a watch list not the whole show itself. There is also a continue watch section where something you’ve started appears where you left off, my only problem with this is that when watching an episode to a show and you play it from continue watching you are not able to get to the next episode through there, you have to exit and find the show and play the next episode yourself, it would be better is the next episode played on its own. Also i’ve been having a problem that when you play something from the continue watching and the next time you get and ad it doesn’t continue from the place it’s supposed to after the ad it starts to continue from the place it left at when you started it from the continue watching..JjngvvVersion: 1.3.1

Amazing show selections, but the mobile and tv app needs work!Love this app and all that’s on there, but it gets frustrating because it never shows where I leave off. I always have to search for the show and scroll through to select the episode I left off on. Sometimes I’m lucky and starts where I left off, but for the most part, it takes me back to episode 1. When watching on the tv app, I have to exit out of the show and manually go to the next episode after the first episode I watch that day because it’ll jump right back to the 1st episode rather than continuing onto the next. After that, it continues to the next one without me having to select the episode myself. It gets really frustrating, especially when I am paying for no ads and am not use to having to remember where I left off. It also doesn’t let me skip some intros. Hopefully these issues get fixed soon because it makes me want to cancel my subscription as soon as I finish my mom and I’s shows. Loving it so far but hoping for a couple minor updatesI was really saddened to see Pantaya go, but I am glad that it was folded into VIX. I appreciate that I can finally have one platform for all of my favorite Spanish language apps and the selection is great. I am hoping that they might make a few updates. First, the ability to create a queue/watchlist like other streaming platforms have would be great. The second, though not a deal breaker, is offering subtitles/captions in English. I grew up a receptive bilingual, meaning that I can understand, reads and even write in Spanish, but speaking it has been a much harder journey. Watching movies and television with subtitles has been proven to be incredibly helpful for language acquisition. It would be great for anyone interested in learning or trying to reclaim Spanish (or likewise, Spanish speakers hoping to practice English). A bit glitchy but lots of novelasLots of free content in one app. Love all the movies and novelas but there are some thing that can be improved on the app. I paid for the plus version on roku so I can’t watch the plus stuff on my phone app. Would be nice if there was a Que to add movies or shows I’d like to watch later instead of having to look/ search through all of the content again to find it. And it would also be nice to be able to know where I left off. Sometimes some of the shows will show where you left off other don’t so I have to guess or rewatch part of an episode to figure out where I’m at which is a waste of time. Also when it does show me where it is, it will finish the episode I am on then start over from the very first episode instead of going to the next episode. Great app for FootballI think it’s a great app, you can get all sorts of football in Spanish language on it. But I have one major issue with this app and I think it’s very basic and could be fixed. I’m using AppleTV 4K set top box, there is literally no fast forward, rewind or pause and play. When you start a game that is on demand, you can not use any of those functions. In fact, they have recorded 15-19 minutes before the game starts and you have to sit there and watch the clock run down before the game starts (no fast forwarding through that wait time). That’s just unacceptable in this day in age of apps. That needs to be fixed ASAP. You use the website version of the app and you can use those options but on AppleTV 4K set top box, it’s not existent. Love it and hate itAbsolutely love this app and love all the content. You can’t find all the novelas listed here anywhere else, for free . For those reasons and more I love this app. However, the bad parts about this app is so irritating that sometimes I want to watch but thinking about all I have to do to find the series and episode I’m on is exhausting. There’s no search bar and you have to locate the series manually. But the worse part has to be that the app doesn’t keep record of what you’ve watch so you have to scroll and guess of keep a record on you own of where you’re at . It’s so frustrating. I don’t even care about the ads that constantly glitch and keeps sending you back to the beginning of the series. Good but needs improvementMy family and I are futbol obsessed so we definitely enjoy being able to stream a lot of games and I don’t mind paying for VIX+ but there’s lots of improvements that could be made. First of, please make it possible to add multiple profiles! This should be a basic thing. Second of all, I tried to go down memory lane and watch some old school novelas and once I started I could not go back to the original screen to see the episodes. It’s annoying to not have a way to go to the show’s main screen to scroll through episodes. I had to go home and search for the novela all over. It made me stop watching because I was so frustrated. Third, if I’m paying for VIX+ why do I have to see so many ads? I understand during live events like soccer matches and the live channels but there is no reason why archived series should have ads. It makes it annoying. I definitely enjoy having access to a lot of “old school” shows but I wish you would have more. DissatisfiedThis app is absolutely horrible! 9 times out of 10 it doesn’t work the way it’s supposed to I would be watching something & all of a sudden it’s stops! Premium and non premiumI thought premium would include watching novelas that are playing on tv that same day but it doesn’t. I’m currently using non premium for that reason now and I’m fine with the ads but omg idk if it’s just my phone but when I exit the app or reply to a message the app blacks out and I have to exit completely. Then once I go back I lose my spot then I have to look for it continuously going through ads just because of exiting. Mixed feelings about the appI never write reviews but I am taking the time now because I want to give my constructive criticism. The app is a great concept and I see potential. But at this point I am frustrated with all the little bugs, it crashes while on Apple AirPlay and closes on its own, it also closes when moving into a new episode and it will not even keep track of where I left off everytime I close it or after it crashes. The “continue” feature doesn’t work properly, it doesn’t update. Too many commercialsBest app for Spanish channels & on demand telenovela viewing. Commercials for on demand r sometimes 5 minutes apart but short in some cases. Constant commercials breaks & you will see the same 3 commercials 3 times during one commercial break. Does not keep your place if you r not able to watch the entire episode. On demand viewing starts with lengthy commercial break. If you try fast forward to the correct spot where you left off, you will get another commercial break every time you stop as you search for the right location where you stopped viewing video. Good but app needs further updatesI really like this app (I view it on my Roku TV and Ipad) but it’s very difficult to see what content is actually available. For instance, on the “on demand” tab and when you click on teleovelas you will not see all there is available. As you scroll on “most viewed telenovelas” after a few scrolls you see a different telenovela listed that does not correspond to the image on the screen. One prime example is the telenovela “Amorcito Corazón” that is nowhere to be seen on the app but that you can see it if you click on another telenovela and seek similar programs. Love/hate this appI absolutely love the content this app has to offer! I just downloaded it a few days ago and I’ve even told friends and family that have never heard of it to download it, if only for the nostalgia. I don’t mind the countless commercials, typically between 6-8 and at least 30 seconds long, what I can’t stand is that after watching an episode, it won’t automatically play the next. You have to go back to the on demand page, scroll down to the novela you’re watching, then scroll down to the next episode. Some of these novelas have 60-70 episodes, it’ll be pretty irritating at that point to have to scroll through so many episodes just to watch the next. Great content but too many bugs that causeIt to freeze every time before an ad plays.The amount of ads isn’t a problem for me , but having to completely close the application and restart the entire episode everytime an ad comes up because it glitches every single time and just stays frozen is frustrating! Great content but a bit annoying.This app has great entertaining content. I signed up for the monthly subscription but I’m contemplating if keeping it. The subtitle keeps turning on, on its own after each episode. I have to turn it off in the beginning of each episode and then it turns on again on the next episode. I wish there was a way to completely disable it but this app lacks settings to help personalize how you want to view things. IrritatingOn firestick- freezes after taking so long to scroll down to episode 400 of a series and starts all over. Pleeeease add a shortcut maybe add pages for series instead of having to scroll down through hundreds of episodes… On every other platform it makes me watch ads, yes ads are normal but it jumps you back to 5 minutes from where you last stopped and makes you watch the ads all over again. Missing basic featuresI have not complaints about the programming, since they seem to have a large variety of Spanish speaking programming, even some classics that I haven’t seen anywhere else since my childhood. But I really wish they had better settings options. The fact that I can not turn off autoplay in an app in 2024 is crazy to me. Also, the app will just start playing random things once the series you are watching is over and that random thing will stay in your continue watching tab, and there is not way to remove it. Inaccurate episode listRecently got this app for my non-speaking English mom and we love the app. One thing we noticed that while looking at episode lists they are not accurate and are missing a lot of episodes at the end. For example. Episode lis 1 to 20 ends in episode 10, Episode list 20 to 40 goes from 11 to 20, Episode list 40 to 60 starts in 21 and ends in 30 and so forth. We are either missing half of the total episodes or the lists are actually incorrectly labeled with the # of episodes per list. This is in the novela “Por ella soy Eva” So far this is the only thing I have seen. But otherwise I like the app. Don’t mind the commercials since the app is free..JMTZ15Version: 4.11.1

Annoying ads and annoying restart.This app is good to watch shows but WAY to many ads there is at least 10 ads or more per EPISODE and there is mostly 5-6 add each “ad break” there can be on little detail and there is an ad. Takeover disappointingEt me start off my saying I love all the variety of novelas, películas and new and old. But one of the most disappointing things has been there are no English subtitles. How can I share with my American husband my culture. Before purchasing Pantaya(which had English subtitles available) we were able to sit as a family and enjoy this app. Now I am a solo rider … barely. The app does have glitches on fire stick. Doesn’t always start you were you left off. Doesn’t recognized you may be signed into a phone or an iPad and are at a different location and have moved on to a different episode. Not worth it !I started to watch interesting shows on this app. The more I watch the more I got frustrated!! I kept watching until the show was finished. This app does have a great line up. They just won’t fix the glitches. Beginning of the year, I sent an email I explained the situation they asked me to send them a ridiculous amount of information. They should clearly know how the app works since they developed it. It wasn’t worth my time or money, so I canceled subscription because it was just too annoying to go back-and-forth to where you left off. Even when you pause it, all of a sudden it takes you right back to the beginning, you’re at the end of a good show, the last thing you want to do is keep going back. I added in the email that I found it hard to believe that they had not heard of all the glitches. The response was (just like all of these reviews are getting) Thank you for your feedback. We will resolve the issue. So I decided to give it a second chance, even though I was very disappointed. I saw two series that I was very interested in, but after those two shows…..I was done. I sent them an email letting them know that the glitches are still there and possibly even worse , once again, they said thank you for the feedback. We’ll work on it, yada,yada,yada…it will never be fixed. IT is not worth it for me, will never have this appt again. I have other streaming platforms that I enjoy. I don’t need this one at all. Super annoying bugs!I liked the app, cool shows to watch and I do use it now but it’s the little mishaps that ruin the experience and i’m getting tired of it. Sometimes the app doesn’t save or remember what episode of a show i’m on or even how much watch time I have of certain episode, at first I was like okay I just need to add the show to my list and so I did to better keep track of my time stamps. Yeah did nothing! I still frequently find myself having to figure out what episode i’m on because the app just doesn’t like save it?? Predatory garbage, do not botherI wouldn’t have anything to do with this app but for my sweet nearly blind mother in law who loves her novelas. This is an abysmally designed app, here are a few examples of how. My MIL’s current show auto plays the first episode of the series instead of continuing to the following episode, you know, like how every single other app on the planet does it. To boot it also doesn’t display episode numbers consistently, which wouldn’t be a problem except for the app doesn’t track which episodes she’s already seen. The app on the phone works sort of okay, but it doesn’t matter because this app should work on smart tvs and it simply doesn’t. Also “VIX Premium” is an absolute lie, if you sign in across multiple devices, which I am forced to do to troubleshoot this inept excuse for a streaming service, you will be seeing plenty of obnoxiously loud ads. Love the app, hate how it’s been developedI love the app! Has so many of my fave novelas. Huge disappointment though that paying for a subscription for no ads you still have to watch some with some novelas which i get but also don’t get, because sometimes it’s 1-2 which I don’t mind but when you add 5+ are you kidding? Why am I paying a monthly sub when I get the same Amt of ads as someone who watches for free?. The app sometimes signs me out of my Apple TV. And when watching on there it continuously skips episodes. Ex. I’m watching episode 40 then it skips 41 and plays 42. Does this every time I watch on my Apple TV. Other languages subtitleI have seeing this app on my Tv so many times and decided to click on it to see what is was and I was very amazed. I grew up watching a lot of telenovelas back home in Haiti and they have my favorite shows in the app. I was very disappointed that it does not have any subtitles and everything is in Spanish. I know a little bit of Spanish but not much to watch a tv show. I have read a lot of the reviews and I’m still surprising that no one have mentioned the subtitles and it looks like Vix have been around for a while. I would think that a lot of people would love the app better and more interested in the shows if they had subtitles even if it’s just English because if the app is available in America I would think they would provide subtitles for American to enjoy the shows. Too many ads and app lagsThe service streaming on this is really really bad whether is Apple TV or in this app. To begin this place has more ads than any other streaming service and waist your time than the show itself ads don’t play just once. but instead ads play/ like every 5 minutes making a 45 min shows be almost an hour and 30 min. If you start a show and pause or exit the app, when you come back to resume where you left off is way off where you left it, if you slide it back as soon as you put it back it slams you with a 5 min ads. False advertisingI just finished having the most ridiculous conversation with the support team.. The only reason why I got the premium service is because they advertised All the games from la liga mx are broadcast through them in Mexico and USA and so far I haven’t been able to watch my team play not even once. First of all.. they don’t give you a phone number, only chat or email.. the automated support sent me information that confirmed that they show all the games but when I requested to chat with a real person the Lady told me that not all the games are included I my area. They didn’t offer a solution after they took my money for the year I payed for. They gave me a file number but they said they won’t do anything about just document it. They say sorry many many times but they don’t care to fix the problem and they don’t accept that what they offer is not what they provide. Love/ hate itI loved this app! You can watch novelas and everything. But now I have an issue with the app. I have to now pay for certain novelas/ movies in order to finish my show completely. In my opinion, it is not fair at all!! It keeps kicking me out!!!I have recently updated the app from Prende Tv and I can say I’m disappointed. I have ViX in my Roku and my phone. I hate that since yesterday’s update the app on the Roku keeps kicking me out. I’m watching a show and it just kicks me off and it’s so annoying that I have to go back in and scroll through all the on demand line up and start all over each and every time. I doesn’t have a serch bar and it doesn’t have the continue watching option which Prende Tv did have. Also it needs to be able to connect to AirPlay I’ve been trying to airplay to my LG smart tv and it just shows it loading and never does. Since the app is not available on the LG smart Tv which is another disappointment. I think this app needs a lot of work still to make it five stars. Terrible streaming serviceThe app performs poorly, and the customer service is just as frustrating. The service is already slow in general, but during major games it becomes almost unusable. Multiple times, the stream has stopped and displayed a message telling me to close the app on other devices — even though no other devices were using the account at all. What makes the experience worse is the customer service. Instead of trying to resolve the issue, it feels like they focus on defending why the service is failing. Conversations with support feel more like talking to a lawyer explaining away problems rather than a team genuinely trying to help customers. At this point, it honestly feels like the company uses these pop-ups to manage bandwidth because their servers can’t handle the traffic during big events. Take off the trump ad.As a Hispanic centered app, why are you guys allowing this trump app to stay? It’s been months or longer and you guys still have it up it’s quite disgusting to be frank. TERRIBLE SCAMMERSIn seriously not even joking when I say this save your money. I made an account on my phone, I paid for premium 10 dollars ofc. When I logged into that same account on the tv it kept saying wrong password and after a while it finally let me log in with that same password. Come to find out my premium wasn’t working, I spent more than an hour trying to fix it and then I went to a live agent named Marlene Vargas Olivares, she said the session ended in 10 minutes yet I was told to wait for “2 minutes” 3 times. After she seemed more clueless on how to fix it than I was, she was asking ridiculous questions such as “does your email only have one r?” Like? And after a while of back on forth wasting time, she just stopped responding. GREAT SERVICE YEAH. It’s okI enjoy the selection of all the old novelas I grew up watching. However this app has so many technical glitches it’s ridiculous. If it was free ok understandable but I pay for the monthly membership so it’s beyond frustrating. I almost always have to remember where I left off and select the episode because even tho it’s on my keep watching list it’ll play episode one. Or it continues on the episode I left off on but with the audio of the first episode. Among other little annoying technical glitches. MediocreAs stated previously buying premium “without ads” still gets you ads. Attempting to cast either via Google cast or airplay leads to poor image quality and constant freezes and crashes. The tv apps themselves are somehow worse than just casting as they often don’t work at all. That said, the ads come out with perfect image quality and without fail. Shows where the priorities went. Needs HelpThis app is super glitchy. Orientation is off. When I try to flip it for wide screen sometimes it works others it shut off and I have to start all over. This wouldn’t be that big of a problem but it takes forever to open. There is no search option. So if I’m watching a novela on demand I have to go to on demand then find novelas scroll through them all then fond mine. Again this takes forever. Then once all episodes load I scrolls through to find the one I’m on. You need a drop down menu here. Then I select Ku episode. Sometimes it remembers where I left off others not. Then horizontal sometimes doesn’t work and Im back at zero again and must start over. Please work on search options and drop down menus. Scam no cx serviceI choose the 1 year no commercials plan for $50 so then $50 it was charged to my credit card here with apple!! When using the app i see commercials all the time so decided to check my subscription plan so i check the plan I pay for in subscriptions on my apple account and it says no commercials $50 and next year it would be $60 try to get in contact with their help service and it was impossible to find help the person or AI was not helpful and was dismissive all the time I explained that the subscription I paid was $50 no commercials and that the app says it was premium with commercials the price for that is about $34 I asked for a refund since i hate commercials and they keep telling me no refund no phone number to talk to anybody in the USA no actual help is just the worst experience I still want my money back!!!.GooayoVersion: 4.27.1

TerribleHad to get VIX, due to them canceling their contract with Fubo, which by the way I had FUBO for 6 years and they are great. It’s a great option if you don’t want cable. Anyways, since being forced to get VIX because my husband likes to watch Soccer. Let me tell you it’s the most frustrating app I’ve had so far. You can’t record, it’s difficult to maneuver and it doesn’t show you a complete TUDN segment. Hard to find where to watch previous soccer games. Which is why I got the app in the first place. ONLY to watch soccer games, but the app can’t even do that. It buffers a lot even though we have a great reception of internet. VIX should work on their app because so far it’s not worth getting. Please let us turn off auto playI love this app because it has a great selection of free novelas. The only thing I don’t like about it is there is no way to turn off autoplay. Cussing Is Censored And MoreAt first I was really excited to get ViX because I could watch my favorite novelas at my own pace but then I noticed that the “sex scenes” were edited out for some movies and shows and all the cussing were censored too like the audio would just go black for the word. If I wanted to watch it like that I wouldn’t be paying for VIX and would just watch it on tv. Like be so for real, why not just have an option to turn on or off the censorship? It’s a zero start app to be honestI’ve been trying to use the app on my tv for the last hour and a half and it keeps telling me I’m logged in too many screen and then it kicks me out and I can’t watch anything and the funny thing. OperationalI really enjoy using ViX because the content is genuinely great. The programs, series, and variety available on the platform are excellent and make it worth watching. However, the overall user experience is extremely frustrating. The app frequently logs me out—sometimes once or twice a week—which becomes very annoying over time. On top of that, basic functions like fast-forwarding often cause the app to freeze. When that happens, it can take a long time before things work normally again, which really disrupts the experience. I understand that updates and system maintenance are necessary, but there needs to be better communication with users—especially those paying for an annual subscription. Customers deserve to know when issues are happening and what is being done to fix them. At this point, these ongoing technical problems are unacceptable. Awful quality, no HDIt seems ridiculous that they have almost no content on HD I’ve been watching the Euro matches and all look very pixelated, seems to me that at this point in time they should be able to offer at minimum 720p for livestreams on 2024 like other apps offer (ie fox sports app) Btw I have a good internet provider and my download speeds are 1gbps with no lag and I’ve tested speeds on my tv at 400mb/s so I know for sure it is not my tv or internet speeds They take advantage of being the only service providing livestreams in Spanish so we have no other option than use their service.
