Amazing app!!!This app is one of my favorites, it helps you balance your calories, if you want to gain or lose weight. You can register what you eat, and the app has many common foods and other items that can be put onto your daily intake. Say you had a protein shake, the app gives you many popular brands of protein powders and shakes that are already listed with their exact nutritional values! They also let you save your meals, in case you have a common breakfast every day, you can go to saved meals and pick your breakfast, making it easier to count calories!.Version: 1.6.0

Love the app and concept, but variety need workYeah… its a lovely app way better than any other ones I’ve tried and used. However the variety of food and meals is really low and limited, there’s even American dishes I can’t find. This app is great in every other concept except that. If a user can’t find the exact meal on the search, they would have to just go with the closes one there is which obviously won’t be accurate to what they actually consumed. I’m Dominican so many of the meals I eat are Hispanic, I don’t feel like I’m putting in anything accurately because there sometime isn’t an equivalent of my dish to an American one and never the exact dish I’m eating it just generalizes it as Spanish rice or Mexican rice. There many different types of “Mexican” or “Spanish” rice they can’t all just fall into one simple category. If it’s possible please work on the variety of the meals search or perhaps put in a feature where we can input what the meal we eat is consist of so it generate a dish on its own, if that those happen maybe a new section on the app can be developed where one can save the meals they ate in case they make/eat it again..Version: 1.2.14

Food trackingFirst I love the layout of the app, the design is so easy to learn and use! I've been using the app for about three days now and it is missing one key feature for me.... the app does not allow you to enter in your own calories/add a meal if they do not have it as their options. (As of right now, one of my days is missing 420 calories) I saw other reviews that stated they were upset their food option was not in there but instead of being upset that not every option is in there maybe have a way to just have a general button to add your own meal and what the calories are going to be. Example: I may go out to eat one night and splurge but you may not have that restaurant in there... maybe it is just a restaurant in my neighborhood. This is just an idea but honestly, with how well your app is easy to use I would add that as your key feature. I downloaded other apps to see what they have and one has that feature but not the scan feature. I just think this would allow your app to be different..Version: 1.6.5

Needs sodium trackerThe app is free to use as long as you do not accidentally sign up for the free 3 day trial and then get charged after that. The app setup is easy but you do have to be careful on the last step when it makes it seem like the only option is to sign up for the free trial. The main reason I started using this app was to look up each item I was eating and track my sodium. The main screen that shows the daily budget only displays your daily intake of calories, carbs, protein and fat. Your individual meals track your sodium and you must go into each meal and add up your sodium manually to get your daily intake. I do love that it was able to find the actual items I was eating down to the specific brand and variation. I matched each result to the label of the item and it was spot on. Just want the option to swap out what is displayed on the daily budget. Would be nice feature for those with high blood pressure..Version: 1.6.0

Pet peevesLove the app. Only thing I would like to see is that when you add certain food to your journal I wish you could 1- have certain consistent meals saved. Like a protein shake that you make the same everyday with the same ingredients. Just being able to save and add consistently instead of manually having to add each item every time. 2- I know on a similar app(MyFitnessPal) if you add a food once it’s also available to add again at a later time which is super easy and consistent. this way I don’t have to search and find my specific item especially if I don’t have the barcode with me. So if I have a specific brand of any item that I eat today and add it to my journal.. tomorrow If I have it again whenever I go to add food it shows up as my most recent item used. Super easy and consistent. This is one thing I like more about my fitness pal..Version: 1.4.3

Needs improvementsI love the concept and features but the functionality needs work. I like how easily meals can be entered and setting up the goals was really easy. However, adding or customizing food entries is non-existent. Also, on iPad it looks like a mobile app that doesn't fit the screen. That makes it really hard to use when my screen is significantly larger than the app keyboard, even when zoomed in. Not to mention that zooming in makes everything blurry and the scrolling doesn’t function properly. I won't pay for this app because it isn't as polished as I would expect for an app that only gives me a 3-day trial and then charges $3.99 PER WEEK to use it. This app also needs a function to manage membership and a longer trial period. It feels like a beta version. Put in the improvements first, then I'll consider paying for it..Version: 1.6.0

Cannot add half of what I eat.I like the way the app looks and presents data like macros and such. Entering meals is easy EXCEPT half of what I eat isn’t available in the search even if I use a barcode. There is no way to manually input food and nutrients, so if I can’t accurately track my foods, then what’s the point? It kind of blows my mind that they charge $16/mo and you can’t even enter your own foods if it’s not available in the search. I looked for a “help” section, didn’t find one, selected “contact us” and there were 4 topics to chose from, none of which were to ask a question, so I didn’t even bother. I just found a new food tracking app that lets me actually track ALL of my foods for $0/month. So yeah, that’s kind of a big deal for me. Edit: I DID use the premium features for $3.99/week and could not see how to add my own foods or find help on how to do so.Version: 1.4.5

WAY better than MFP.I had been a My Fitness Pal user for probably 4-5 years and it went through a period where it wasn’t working a couple years back so I downloaded like 6 different apps to replace it and this was among them. I haven’t looked back ever since! MFP charges for every single little thing and it’s only gotten worse. This app is so much better. The only issue I have is not being able to add my own food. I make my own bread, so not being able to add that is kind of a pain and I have to find a bread in their database that is close, though it’s typically very off on the nutrients, but whatever. Hopefully they make that fix. I also dislike that I can’t choose my water intake but maybe it’s user error lol..Version: 1.6.5

Love it!I love this app! It’s pretty much just like My Fitness Pal app but free. I used to use my Fitness Pal years ago and now the cost is outrageous! This app is easy to use and so far have lost 2lbs in just one week. The one thing that I would like fixed is being able to go back and look at all of my weeks and be able to edit something if needed. For example, I got busy last night (Saturday) and didn’t have time to log my dinner or running activity. Since today is Sunday (a new week) it will not let me go back to enter it and I can’t even go back to look at my previous weeks except an overview. I’d give this 5 stars if that was a feature but it’s not so for now I give a 4 star rating. Please fix this!.Version: 1.2.7

Certain foods not coming up with or without barcodeI’ve been using this app for a few weeks, and I find it very easy to use. However, there is a drawback and thats the lack of different foods on there. A lot of what I eat is pretty mainstream (if you want to call it that) so it’s easy enough to find, but some just doesn’t show up. I think adding some sort of feature where you can add a ingredient and maybe get it approved and later added would be beneficial. Another way could be a little input thing to add the macros of the food you couldn’t add into your meal. It’s still a great app, just needs improvement within the searching section..Version: 1.5.1

Good but it can be betterThis app is good, the features and everything such as the recipes are pretty great, the one thing that bugs me the most is the water tracking I drink out of plastic bottles and they roughly have about 16.9 oz when you want to add water it adds by ~10 and I feel like there should be a feature in which you can either do it manually or use your camera so it can read the information. Second to last, I saw a review in which they said how they eat some meals and can’t find it in the search button and have to guess to what is closest, this is one other feature that could be improved..Version: 1.6.1

One of the Best Tracking Apps!First of all, this app is quality is very nice, not too big and bright but not too blah. This app also has very good tracking with everything, the water, food, and exercise! Only one complaintI downloaded this app for a school project, we need to count calories, protein, carbs, vitamins, all of it. This app has all that and more. Your able to put in the exact food you eat and it gives you all the information on it, you can also track weight, water and steps. The only complain I have is that once the week is over you can no longer see that weeks log. I counted for 1 week then lost all the information when going to make an essay on it. OkayThis app is cute. The layout and functions are pleasing and it’s easy to input your daily food. I just have a couple of issues. I use the scan barcode feature, and the macros will be completely different on the app compared to what I have in front of me. It’s frustrating because I can’t accurately track my macros. It would be nice to be able to manually change or add in a “food” that’s not in the database. I tried to scan my whey protein and it wasn’t found, nor could I find a substitute that was similar. It’d be cool if I could press on the specific nutrient and change the value. That’d way it’d be more accurate and user-friendly..Version: 1.6.0

Love the app, just a few recommendations thoughThis app has helped me drink water and keep a healthy diet, however, i wish there was a section where you can also add drinks other then water. like protein drinks, soda, alcohol, etc, because they all have calories and contribute to your weight. Ounce measuring seems offThis app is still new and has better qualities than MyFitnessPal but there’s still some kinks within recording your meals. Depending on what brand of food you insert, you will not get all the serving options available (ounce, grams, etc). I prefer to use grams but most of the food items I selected didn’t have grams as an option and when I converted to ounces, the conversion is off. E.g. If you put 1 ounce of green seedless grapes from wegmans and it shows as 2,000 calories when it should only be only 20 calories. I have to click around to different food options so it won’t record the incorrect caloric amount..Version: 1.4.0

Love but wish I could customize entriesSwitched to this from MyFitnessPal and absolutely love this app the only thing that I wish it could do is allow for custom entries. A few of the things that I normally have for coffee or just general entries for steaks etc. aren’t popping up when I search the barcode and there’s no way to manually enter or add macros on their own. This app would be perfect if it had that option but too many things aren't showing up through the search so might have to switch back and to Myfitnesspal for the time being.Version: 1.2.14

Not for carb countingI downloaded this app because it looked like it might be good for carb counting and the privacy policy wasn’t invasive. The setup for the app wasn’t too hard, and the interface was clear and nice to use. However, this app is designed for weight loss or weight gain targets, and you can’t change your carb budget if you need to stick to a specific count, making it useless to those with diabetes. Also, if you don’t subscribe to their premium service, you get a full screen ad to do so every time you open the app. Had potential, but just didn’t do what I needed it to..Version: 1.5.1

Not working?? [Resolved]So for a while now, the app hasn't been working. I checked back just a few minutes ago and now it up and running like usual. I'm glad the issue was resolved but my only complaint is that it took a long while. Not only that but the developer didn't respond to any of the recent reviews, only responding to one complaint that only had a ":(" and nothing else. Good, but could be betterIt’s a great app for the money. I mean, you can track your macros for free! It’s great. However, I wish there was an option to create your own food. I can’t seem to find some of the foods I eat. It would be great if I could add a food, give it a name, and fill in the nutrition myself. And save the food to a “custom made foods” that I’ve created. Takes to long to load food responseI think this app is great and i could really track my calories if i could actually put my meals. Not the best for loggingI enjoyed this app for a little while but from the start i noticed that the success rate of logging foods was low. There was multiple everyday items that wouldn’t show up when scanned or would come up as something extremely unrelated. That was very annoying and hard to work around when your moving fast. Review and ComplaintWhen it becomes Sunday, there HAS to be a way to go back to Saturday to add stuff. I hadn’t added my meals from Saturday so I was going to today (Sunday) like I always do when I forget to add my meals for the day, but you can’t go back to Saturday because it’s a new week?? I LOVE this app!!!This is exactly what I was looking for, and is perfect for me!! When you first open the app it shows the premium version, but you can close it and the home page is there. You can add your breakfast, lunch, snack and dinner. You can also add water, weight and activities. Cant Create Meals and RecipesThis app is so nicely designed I just wish that you could create meals so that you wouldn't have to add the ingredients every time. Taking foods offI loved this app been using it for awhile it’s easier than some of the others out there. However i notice they randomly will remove foods that you can search to log. Ex: chipotle, they used to have chipotle steak, chipotle rice etc now they don’t i try to use just steak and cheese and rice but the macros are different obviously bc it’s not chipotles. Love the design and experience but very buggyI like that this app provides most relevant information without being overwhelming unlike other similar apps but it has many bugs! 1. I can’t seem to find any of my saved meals under the section even though it says it has saved it. 2. It doesn’t connect to my apple health or count steps even though it says multiple times that it did. 3. the progress bars on the days are confusing. I am not sure why they are never completed even when I reach my goals for the day. AmazingThis is honestly one of the best apps I’ve ever used and I’m so glad I found it. One think I’d liked to see tho is for us to be able to add our own food if we know all the things to make it and the calories etc. lastly, and the pains me a lot is the things I eat aren’t there, there are some but I think an amazing idea would be for users to be able to request a food to be added or be able to add the food ourself if we know all the stats. If that were the case I’d honestly use this app forever no doubt in my mind. Hopefully they read this. Please please let us add our own food or send recommendations to add that’s my only issue or this would be the best app ever on the App Store.Version: 1.4.1

Good but missing somethingI wish the app had an option to add your own food. Like I want to be able to add a meal and I’ll input the calories myself. I wanted to put a meal from an outside food place and I had researched how many calories but I can’t even put in the app exactly how many calories..Version: 1.4.1

Pricy but it works!I absolutely love the app, and it’s doing a great job at keeping me motivated for my weight goal, and doing it properly, the only thing I’d complain about is it being $5/week. But with an 11 week program I’d say it’s worth it as long as I do my part..Version: 1.3.1
