Not a bad alternative to mangaman, just has a couple bugs here and thereI’ve been using this app since mangaman was taken off the App Store and I’ve loved it. Until it started acting funny. I now have to reload a chapter about 7 times just to read it. I don’t even get the x’s anymore it’s just all black. I’ve been waiting for an update that hopefully fixes this, but haven’t seen one for months. (This I think has been mostly fixed with the last update. Just had it happen again yesterday but it hasn’t happened for awhile now. So I was more surprised that it was happening again than annoyed.) Back again. I guess I never uploaded this review. That was awhile ago but now I’ve been having glitches with this app. Some of the mangas/manhwas im reading, don’t update because they don’t load correctly, I guess you could say. I have to unfavorite it and then search it again and favorite it again. I’m grateful my chapters are still there but it’s inconvenient since the app takes so long to go from the favorites to the search tab. Side note: it would be amazing if there was a bookshelf for all the mangas we’ve added to favorites/to be read, so what were reading and what we want to read are separate so every time there’s an update it’s just the ones we’re actually reading at that time instead of every manga we’ve added. I just want to declutter my space honestly and not have 175 updates of the ones I’m not reading yet 😭.BennDover7Version: 1.1.6

Great AppGreat app! I love that I can read all my favorites and the fact that I can change the order in which the books put up in my saved Favorites, from A-Z, Z-A, recently added or even recently updated. And then there is the fact that you can change how the book pages are read, from left to right, right to left, or even as a WEBTOON style. I also made the VERY correct decision in doing the purchase so I’d be ad free. One of the best app purchases I’d ever made. Lol. There is only 1 problem for me and it’s not really a problem more like a hassle. And it’s the reason I only gave 4 stars. When you want to reread a story you go into the book but it doesn’t give you the option to start from the beginning (as in chapter 1) it starts you on the page you last left of said chapter. So then you have to scroll over until you get all the way to page 1. Most of the time this really isn’t an issue because chapters at around 30 pages. But then you have those few books at are 100 pages and so you’re sitting here scrolling all the way to page 1 and it takes like 5 minutes to do it. Then you read the book in less then 10 minutes and going to the next chapter where you do the process all over again. Great manga app (when it wants to be)I’ve had this app for about 4 years now and I feel like now’s a great time to make a review. When it works, it is the best manga app out there in my opinion. I even paid to make it ad free (which honestly I just suggest that you do because it’s only like $10 for lifetime). The only thing is that some chapters just won’t load for some reason. NOW WHEN ITS BAD….ITS BAD. There was like a 4 month period where I could not use this app. Like from April to early August (2025). But then it came back with an update (and ofc, my library was gone but still was happy) I was so excited to read the mangas I love. I feel that the update was great. But now, as of September 17 of 2025. It is acting weird again. You can actually stay on the app and it won’t forcefully kick you off like what it did before, but you can’t read anything. So just for the inconvenience of this I’ll give 4 stars. I would give this 6 stars if I could, but because of whatever this is it’s just not it for me. I’m sure the developers or whoever is working on this are trying their best and I’ll continue to be patient because it’s a good app. That’s my two cents on this. Needs WorkIt’s a great app before 2023 ABOO & Kids and anime fans say it’s your loading screen and server being interrupted by Weirton Wva hacker unit it’s the same system that did it before they used to the dark screen then they interfere again you have to use the same system like before they will continue using it on all manga apps everyone needs to work together to stop this especially for the Asian hackers that was taken by them as well. It has to do with the resetting of the cell phone system loader which goes to every app they found out to. They use the same system and hacking equipment and math to. Be safe getting it back it still doesn’t work when you remove it it’s the loading screen system as well the server. ABOO is really mad at them to. IT BROKE AGAINI love this app and I’ve been using it for literal years but once again, it’s broken. I’m distraught because I have still yet to find an app as good as this one for manga. Unfortunately, as previously stated, the app is broken,. Firstly, the front page completely does not load which is never a good sign in its own right, however it gets worse when I open the favorites tab to find several manga have been updated yet I somehow can’t read any of them? No matter the popularity or uploader/author none will load. Simply a “No data found, now you can: (report//search) yes, reporting is helpful. But not everyone has access to report the bugs. Please fix the loading problem!I’ve been using MangaNelo for a long time, and I’ve had the issue countless times, sometimes I’d just give up reading manga to return months later. The problem for me seems to be that every time I read a chapter not in consecutive order, the next chapter/episode doesn’t load and shows up as a black page with an “X”. Could you please fix this bug or add a reload button? I have no idea how to read the pages that are not loading, I’ve tried closing the app, going back to the previous and ahead episode, and deleting page cache in the settings. Manga or comic namesHello I found this app a couple months ago and I fell in love with it! So my mom was going through my phone so y’know… I had to delete the app. And I re-downloded it and now the stories that I had I can’t type them in anymore. I want to know in what way are we supposed to type in the names of the comics. Because I was reading “Ouran High School Host Club” and it’s not popping up AT ALL. And I had it on my favorites last time. I trie fall lowercase, without Ouran, I typed in just high school, and I can’t find it anywhere. Same with a few other stories. Is it supposed to be all lowercase or something? Cause I even tried copy and pasting it from google and it still didn’t work. Do I rate this app 4 stars until this issue is fixed. Love the app! Just a little problemI’ve been using this app for a year or two, basically to read how to get my husband on my side after I got all the episodes on Tapas and couldn’t wait for the next chapter. Basically it’s worked like a charms for me with the only minor annoyance being the advertisement which I’ve gotten over a while ago. The only other problem now is that the mangas are not loading for me anymore when I go to read them. I don’t know exactly what happened but it’s been a couple of days and before that there was a period of time where I couldn’t even access the app (this has been fixed). Great until recentThis is my favorite app to read manga on. As it will organize and show what’s updated without having to pay for it. If you do pay it is only a one time fee that will get rid of all ads. However just a few days ago it seems like the app has crashed or something similar. I see my manga, but nothing is updating and if I try to click on something it will just load and then show a black screen. I want this to be fixed because I have a lot of manga on here and I haven’t found a better one yet without having to pay an annual fee. This app has problemsSo Recently, maybe for about 3-4 months there has been a bug were my screen is black and i have to change the way im reading (left to right/right to left/vertical ect) or close out of what im reading and go back in and repeat until i can finally read. Thats one of the problems i have. My main issue is that 5 minutes ago i was forced out of the app twice and then i went to go and delete it and reinstall it to see if that would fix the problem. Little did i know all my data would be erased instead of being saved like a normal app that uses the cloud. Best manga app, but needs a few adjustmentsI love this manga app as it has an amazing selection, updated regularly, and the functions are adaptable to most mangas. However, sometimes a manga that I store in my favorites will unfavorite itself for no reason… and sometimes I will be reading then it kicks me out of my manga all the way to the home or Lock Screen. Even with these minor bugs, this app in my opinion is the best manga app out there! Really great selectionLike the app and the selection. Paid to remove ads which is nice as there is one between each chapter. Have had several manga that won’t load images and only get “x” screens. Have had to go online to read those chapters. Mercenary Enrollment is pretty much unreadable in my app. It needs a force reload button. Maybe that would help out. There have been a few times where the chapters of different titles don’t fully load up. Adding a refresh or reload button would make it simple to get the content. Love it! But…I’ve had this app for a really long time and I live it. It’s how i would keep track of a lot of my manga or webtoons stories. However the app hasn’t been working lately. It used to work sometimes and then fix itself randomly but it has completely stopped working for me now. I can’t read anything. This is really frustrating and I hope the developers can fix it. The website still works so you can go search it up but it’s kind of annoying. Again i love this app, the ads aren’t so bad and there’s a bunch of binge worthy stories. Good App but Needs FeaturesI started using this app and I’m liking what I see as this app lets me read just about everything I’ve searched for but there are just a few quality features I hope be added in later updates to the app such as: - A read history page that shows the last manga (and its chapter) you’ve read in the order you’ve read them - IPAD ONLY: read manga in 2 page mode when you turn & hold the iPad sideways - Having the ability to read the next chapter of a series by swiping to the next page when you reach the last page of the current chapter you’re on - Putting a notice up that your on the last page of the last current chapter of a series if you try to swipe to the next page (this will only work when and if the 3rd suggestion is added) Outside of these few suggestions, I have had no issues with this app and would recommend it to other people. Really great app but would like some changesI really like the app since it is easier to read manga from my phone rather than getting up and going to my computer at night but i would like if the app had it so all of the pages from the chapter are in one thing so we can just scroll all the way down like on the website, the way it is now some manga gets cut off and it is hard to tell what it is supposed to say when it does (Edit) just realized there was something to make it it so you can read it that way and i was just being an idiot.ImjustokVersion: 1.1.0

My Gripes With This AppThe app is great and I have a ton of manga saved. I would give it five stars, but I have a couple issues that brought the review down. First, there should be a way to recover favorited manga in cases of a wipe or a redownload. I recently had to delete and redownload the app and I lost the several manga I had saved. I managed to find like a fraction of the ones I had previously but I honestly gave up looking for all the ones I had before. Second, there’s an issue of pages not loading. There are a few mangas I read where there are one or several chapters that won’t load the pages. It’ll just be a black page with an “x” in the middle. No login option? Then I’ll just use the website instead...First and foremost I’ve been using the online MangaNelo page for 4+ years and it’s been great. The only reason I want to use this app is for ease of access and a more mobile friendly UI. Unfortunately, there’s no option to sign in with Facebook/email/username&password, so I’d have to manually add every manga I’ve ever bookmarked...seems like there’s an easy opportunity to make the app useful for the people who want to swap from using the website to using the app, and I hope this is added soon as it would make the app way more convenient and useful. Fun ride come to an endI have been using this app for at least 3 years and it has been a blast, with the ease of use when I first discovered it leading me to buy the add free version. Now after reading literal hundreds of manga and webtoons it as though it has lost funding or other due to the original website going down as well, with pure convenience and ease of access making the money I spent worth every penny and more. Good app with some pretty bad bugsOverall I’ve been using this app for a solid 2-3 years since I upgraded my phone and couldn’t get back the older apps. For a good while I had zero problems, other than the occasional loading problems, but now there’s what I assume to be a bug where I can’t even read anything when I’m connected to wifi. As soon as I connect to my wifi I can’t read anything at all and idk what the issue is. Although recently the app itself seems to have stopped working. Link accountsI just recently found out manganelo has an app, I’ve been on the web using manganelo for at least 3 or 4 years and my account has hundreds and bookmarked manga’s and manhwa’s. I come to the app only to find that I can’t access my account on the app from the website. Great titles but often crashes!I’ve read quite a few webtoons, Manhua, and manga on here but I’ve noticed that during some of them the app often crashes. There will be times when the panels will be almost microscopic and you’ll have to zoom in to read. It’s not all bad though the quality is good but if you get a series with a terrible translation, it’s unbearable. Read at your own risk, often times they’re good but you’ll run into quite a bit that has problems. Manhwa black screenThe app has defiantly has been a go to for me to go in and just have a compile of a lot of quantity and quality works all filed and able to personalize comics so that you know what is released. The three star exists mainly because of very few manhwa mainly Korean comics having pages that are black screened with a X in the middle. Maybe it’s a corruption data of the pages, but as longs as the few but very quality manhwas that are trailblazers in the comic world are corrupted. Great BUT 3.5 starsThis app has a wide variety of both manga, manhwa, and manhua my ONLY gripe that I have and this may or may not be a big factor in me keeping this app is that; at times chapters just do NOT load, some chapters of material have different content than what should be there( as an example a berserk chapter might not be from berserk but some random chapter of a different manga), and at time the app will glitch out and not allow someone to swipe through the material. Currently MangaNelo Is Down!Had this app since 2019, never had issus besides for the app crashing here and there, but for some reason the start of this year manganelo has been down, nothing loads, nothing updates. MangaNeloI love this manga app a lot! And it is easy to use and has some mangas up to date, but the only issue I have with the app is not being able to find certain webtoon like slaughter queen reborn, the princess’s doll house, first miss reborn, I reincarnated into a ducal house and was immediately branded. Mid, good but could be betterI used this app when they got rid of manga man from the App Store, I paid for no ads thinking this app was like manga man, I was wrong. Not only do the big X’s appear when a chapter can’t load, sometimes when I’m reading a chapter of a book the app will crash and the weird thing is it’ll crash when reading specific chapters of books, while it won’t crash all the time it’s still annoying to deal with an app that keeps crashing every time I read a new chapter for something. Great App but spams notificationsEverything on the app works perfectly. The only issue with the app is that once you finish a chapter you have to exit the chapter to go to the next otherwise it won't load properly. Then there's the notification spam. Pages blacked outIt’s a good manga reading app especially if you bought the no ads thing, but there’s a bug that makes it so that some, if not all, pages are blacked out. the only temporary fix i found was just to quit the app and then get back to the chapter as fast as you could, but zooming in/out also seemed to make the pages appear. not very easy to read in that case though. otherwise very good app. would recommend once those bugs are squashed..Tails92003Version: 1.1.2

Needs to fix a few glitchSince update it loads all at once but just yesterday all my bookmark reset and now have to find the pages again. Also a glitch where if you change the format to left to right when you click next chapter it goes black so you have to exit and reclick to see it again but it’s perfectly fine when you change the format. Good app, but could use qol updatesI’ve been able to find and read a lot. Good searching and filtering. Thinks that would be nice are vertical reading. Also, at the end of the chapter to be able to just drag to the next chapter in test of taping to open the ui. I reread a lot, so if going back reset the chapter to the beginning. In your favorites, have your updates first. Sometimes hard to find if you are reading something else and it goes down the list. However, I haven’t really been kicked out. Good reader but Ads are impossible to closeThe app works fine as a reader and seems to mirror the site nicely. My complaint is the ads. I don't mind ads every now and then, but closing them seems to be a battle every time. I click the skip or exit button about 10 times, opening the app store etc every-time before it finally registers and closes the ad.
