Face recognition promptI am getting a prompt to install face recognition because security of Ticketmaster can not verify my email when trying to put my tickets in Apple wallet. I verified I was signed into my device with the same email. Tried to bypass prompt, no luck. Even downloaded facial recognition, didn’t work. Removed facial recognition. No luck. Shut phone off. Rebooted did not work. Deleted the Ticketmaster app, made sure I had updated app. I did. Made sure I had the latest Apple security update, I did. Took my VPN off, no luck. Went to the Apple Store, they did a diagnostic, my phone was OK. Called into customer service at Ticketmaster for help, they had no clue, but kindly made a customer service follow-up ticket. The follow up was no help. The only way I have been able to download my tickets to A wallet was by sending my tickets to friends and they successfully downloaded the tickets to their wallets. When continuing to try I am still getting the same facial recognition prompt and I am unable to bypass. Please fix……this is frustrating and a new problem. Their service is what you’d expect from ticket brokers. They make HUNDRED$ on 2nd round profit!This particular concert wouldn’t let me pick what part of the aisle or the seats in which I’d be sitting in. ALL THE OTHER CONCERTS LIATED ON YOUR SITE/APP ALLOW YOU TO DO THIS!! You’re making it difficult for people to see where they’re sitting. Why choose NOW to not be user friendly? I would imagine it’s the $3,000 per seat front row ticket cost or perhaps $2k on second row or $1,750 a ticket on row H that has you making it harder for us to pick the seats? I tried repeatedly to pick the $299 seats and the only way to do that was to get ALL THE WAY TO THE END where you needed my CVV # to complete the purchase, and THEN I got to see the seats I were paying for. Slick. But not slick enough. After 12 different “back out of the purchase” stunts I had to pull in order to try again for better seats, I finally got them. Nice try, Ticketmaster. I purchased two tickets to a concert for $786 and the tickets went though and got sent to me and everything. The DAY OF the concert, i go to open my tickets and they are gone, no where to be seen, no emails about them, no explanation on why they are missing. I called ticketmaster (waited 20 minutes for an agent) just for them to tell me the tickets got canceled because they “did not pass our safety checks”. WHAT?!? You’re telling me this the day of our $800 concert?? Convenient app (when it works) but the fees are outrageousUnfortunately sometimes/often TM is the only option, so the frustrations with the app don’t really matter in most cases. When it works, it’s super convenient to have the tickets on your phone, but I’ve had the app crash on me several times at events which leaves me scrambling to get my ticket somehow pulled up (sometimes switching to the browser site works) which is stressful when you’re stuck outside of your section for restroom breaks or concessions runs. We’ve had issues transferring tickets to others via the app too so whoever bought them is sometimes stuck running out with anyone else in the group who needs a break or lending them their phone. They also jack up the fees on the tickets so that they’re often 25% of the total cost—I understand that they deserve a cut for handling the transactions, but I hate that a 1/4 of what I pay goes to them instead of the artist or the crews doing the actual work to make the show happen. TicketsI don’t ever leave a review but after this altercation I’m not using Tm again. In the early general admission I bought 3 tickets (1 on accident) but didn’t mind because I could resell it. There was a “seating change” and now 2 months after buying the tickets obviously the tickets price has increased and more. The 2 tickets I bought were “voided” and I got refunded but the extra ticket was moved close to the stage, instead of moving the 2 I actually needed? I needed the 2 tickets instead of the 1. It wants to refund what I paid (150) for BOTH SEATS, and now when I ask to get 2 seats together now it refunded saying I’ll have to trade in the extra ticket that was closer for the same price and also pay extra money to get another ticket?? Basically I’m paying 180 for 1 TICKET after only receiving 150 for 2 tickets and similar seating. No incentive, no extra help, just straight forward “we can move your seat to somewhere with the same value, and you’ll have to cover the rest for the extra ticket” so now my girlfriend doesn’t have a chance of going with how much the ticket prices have increased. Instead of moving my seats, it refunds me to make sure I pay more. Terrible app. Basically the extra ticket got a closer seat and anywhere else I want to move I’ll have to pay more and I got refunded around 150 for 2 tickets but now getting similar seating for STANDARD admission not even Resell, it’s going to be 350+ genuinely just want to make the most money from me. Buyers beware. If your account is hacked you will have to buy new tickets.By far the worst customer service experience of my life. I had my account hacked and two sets (4 tickets total) fraudulently transferred out of my account. I notified Ticket Master immediately, within 15 minutes of it happening, and began what has now been a 2 month process of trying to get my tickets returned or refunded. The most concerning part of all of this is when they were stolen out of my account via transfer, Ticket Master allowed them to be listed for resale (even after I reported them stolen). I was forced to buy new tickets because their fraud department never returned my calls or emails. That means Ticket Master profited off of my original processing fee, the stolen ticket processing fees (my original seats were evidently resold) and the processing fees for my new seats I had to buy. Ticket Master benefits off of stolen tickets, and this is why I think they care so little about returning tickets when their app is hacked. If your tickets get stolen, good luck. I would plan on buying new ones or being on the phone for at least a few hours a day, every day, spam calling the fraud department. If your lucky enough to reach someone, plan on explaining your entire situation from start to finish with each new person. Ticketmaster is a scamTicketmaster is a scam. I bought a set of tickets to 3 separate college football games this year. I ended up selling the set of tickets to the Auburn game on November 7. They said they were going to deposit the proceeds to a debit card ending in 3240. I have no idea what card that is. So, I went online to my account and added an account to have an account for Ticketmaster to deposit the $136. They are supposed to add 2 small deposits under a dollar for verification purposes. Then I was supposed to go back in and verify the two deposits in my Ticketmaster account. The 2 small deposits never showed up. So, I tried again. And Again. Never got the deposits. So, I tried to call them. They do not accept calls. So, I emailed them. Got a generic response telling me about the deposit verification. So, I tried to live chat with them. Got the same email. So, I responded to their email. Emailed them again. They are crooks and care nothing about their customers. They don't try to resolve the problem, they just send out generic messages. It is a cop out. It does not absolve them from their responsibility to resolve the issue. Whatever, it takes. Do not use them. I will not use their service again and will tell everyone I meet that they are crooks. They have had my money since November 7 and have made no attempts to resolve the issue. Horrible customer service!!!I bought some concert tickets and decided to upgrade my seat so I used the “chat” option online. First of all, the guy lied. He said the seats I wanted were already taken but were still blue on the map. I said it was fine because there were similar seats for the same price on the other end of the row. He said those weren’t available either. He insisted on picking my seats even tho I WAS PAYING FOR THEM. I then asked him for a refund cause they had their “free look period” but he said it didn’t apply. So I said it was false advertising and never heard back from him. At this point I was very upset so I had my sister give it a try. The other agent was able to locate the seats I had asked for and said they were available and that he didn’t know why the other guy said otherwise. So fast forward to when I’m ready to check out THIS agent said he Was confused and had charged me the wrong price so he added $10 .. then he tried to charge me full price. By now I was just about to give up. But I called the next day and explained what happened to the lady agent and she just completely ignored the issue and said “ so are you ready to check out”. I NEVER write reviews but omg. That was one of the worst customer service representatives I’ve ever had to deal with. Why is it so badWon't load any events (keeps saying "sorry, our bad") won't let me purchase tickets when it finally loads. Shows tickets as available but when I try to purchase gives me error messages ("sorry cannot process request at this time" or whatever it says) It really seems like I can't do anything with this app. Every single event gives me a "sorry, our bad" message. It's really horrible. I can't load any event, I can't buy anything, this app might as well not exist. In fact, it would be better if it didn't exist because then at least I wouldn't waste my time trying to figure out how to get the app to let me buy tickets. If I wanted to see nothing but error messages I'd write an app while blindfolded. This whole app seems to need fixing at it had better be done soon. The tickets I want to buy are supposedly only available thru ticketmaster, and of everyone else is having the same luck I am buying tickets I'd be surprised if 10 people showed up to the event. Unreliable and thinks I’m a bot?The app will randomly log you out. Not a huge deal but be careful trying to log back in! I got logged out on my phone app and tried to log back in before a presale. I had full service but nothing loaded, so I tried once with wifi and once without to get to the log in page. Nothing ever loaded so I gave up on getting tix and went on with my dad. An hour later, I tried logging in again and found out my account was suspended bc I tried to log in too much (and in too many tabs), -!: my account got suspended because I showed “bot behavior.” I followed the give instructions to fix it and nothing worked. I called a customer support phone number and luckily got it fixed, but this seems to be a rarity per internet information. AND it is likely to happen to me again (if the internet is to be believed). My IP address was blacklisted and I (think) it has been resolved, but it is frustrating I had to call customer service to get something fixed that went wrong on their end. If I didn’t get this fixed, I would lose access to all tickets I have already purchased (which would be about 1k loss for me)! Ridiculous. Also, people claim Ticketmaster will suspend your account for talking poorly about them. Lost $500 to Ticketmaster, feel defraudedSo I'm traveling to Vegas for an anniversary with my wife. I booked tickets for a show in July. While I was attempting to check out, the Ticketmaster app had an issue with my use of a VPN on my phone. I shut off the VPN and went to check out. I purchased but then was surprised to discover that the date had changed to January. I don't know 100% if the VPN switching caused the dates to change or if I made an error on the month. In the end it really shouldn't matter. I immediately contacted customer service. That's when the nightmare began. First off, there is no number to call. Everything is via email or a chat that takes an average of three to six hours between responses. I was willing to purchase more expensive seats, I was willing to pay more for the same seats, but under no circumstances was I allowed to exchange for the correct date. I was told I should sell the tickets myself to someone else and then use that money to buy new tickets but that they weren't responsible if I didn't get paid. This was not an option for me since my travel for the event was the next day. I have never experienced such awful customer service nor had a worse customer outcome from a known company. Worse than apple juiceHave you ever drank apple juice and thought it seems like a good idea, but it’s just too expensive, boring, and leaves you thirsty when even other beverages with sugar and other additives could hit the spot? Well that is Ticketmaster. Seems like it would be a good idea, but it is executed so poorly, taxes you fiscally, emotionally, and just turns out to be a poor choice on your part. You mean I can’t just take a screen shot of the ticket or airdrop it to my wife who is waiting next in the line with 50 people behind us when I remembered I still had to grab something from the car so we have to get out of line, spend 15 minutes downloading this stupid app, resetting the account she created 8 years ago and then doing some boof transfer. This company is a scam, just let the people selling the tickets send me a pdf of a barcode so I can attend an event, it’s that simple. They forced their way in as a middle man that is completely superfluous and in turn, raise ticket prices and develop a program that intentionally makes it so you can’t bypass it to enter an event. Wdym my session is suspended… always?Do not use this app. AXS tickets works just fine, Ticketmaster does not work at all. In fact the last time I used it I had to call support numerous times because I was days away before a concert and the app wouldn’t let me ACCESS TICKETS I BOUGHT. Everytime I enter the app or website I’m greeted with one page: “Your session has been suspended” with no way to resolve it or to prove I’m a human being trying to buy tickets. I reinstall it, made a whole new account, so I can get early access to my favorite artist who is finally touring again after over 6 years. I missed out on those tickets because Ticketmaster greeted me again with the same your session is suspended screen. With no way to fix it, this is the dumbest process any app has used ever. I can’t buy tickets now, I barely pulled them up the last time I went to show. And that me spending a few hours on the phone. Yeah don’t use this app. Imagine going to your event and ricketmaster gives you the suspended screen for NO REASON. And an event you paid for you can’t get it. What if it’s your favorite artist? What if you stood in line all day because it’s GA first come first serve and now you’re at the back of the line calling support? Don’t bother it took support days to send me my tickets. Glitchy App that charges twice with terrible customer service helpI’ve always preferred Ticketmaster to the other ticket apps because I felt they were the most legitimate and up until recently I’ve been happy with everything. However, I tried to buy tickets to a hockey game and the app was being glitchy, and my order did not process. Received an error message that literally said “it’s not you, it’s us” and to try again. So I did, and bought another pair of tickets. Well you can guess what comes next, I found there were 4 tickets because the first order actually did go through. I reached out right away to customer service explaining what happened (within minutes of realizing), and I’ve been getting the run-around ever since. The error was on the Apps end but I’m being treated like a scammer. Don’t waste your time using this app because they will not have your back when their app fails. Not worth the download until they 1. Make fixes to their app 2. Get better customer service policies 3. put the loyal customers first. My issue is STILL unresolved, I’m out of a lot of money, and while I should get a full refund, they aren’t even offering any type of credit. I’ve had to email them multiple times asking the status of my claim as no one reaches out to you with updates. Honestly, not worth the time or hassle of dealing with these people. Glitch in App-Be Careful When Transferring TicketsI purchased three tickets on one order plus 7 others on another for my family to see the tribute band No Duh at the OC Fair. I transferred 2 tickets to my daughters, two to my sisters, and one to my niece. The two to my sisters, and one to my niece worked fine as they had accepted the tickets before I entered the event. On the day of the event, I got to the fair and entered the gate about 6pm. They scanned the remaining tickets in the app (they couldn’t scan the two tickets for my daughters as they were in tranfer mode. We arrived at the venue at The Hangar at the OC Fair and scanned our tickets again. Two were still in my app but couldn’t be scanned as they were transferred to my daughters and were colored green. My daughters accepted the tickets when the concert started. They arrived at the OC Fair green gate and had their tickets scanned. They were told they had been scanned at 6pm. That was impossible as that was the time I entered the fair with my family and the tickets in transfer mode couldn’t be scanned as they were in green. My daughters missed the concert as I did too because I had to go to the entrance to try to resolve the situation. They were not allowed in. I am extremely furious about the situation. HORRIBLE experience- no option for 0 stars!I purchased 4 tickets to an event as a Christmas gift for my husband and children. I was informed 2 months after that I’d have to download an additional app in order to transfer my tickets to me. If I didn’t agree, I’d lose my tickets! I received a confirmation saying ‘Here are you tickets click here’ This opened up another app to download (a third app) in order to access my tickets 48 hours prior to the event. The tickets were never transferred. The day of my event I spent hours (I’m not exaggerating, hours) on the phone, mostly on hold with Ticketmaster representatives. I called the other site and they were unable to help me because the tickets were never released from TicketMaster. So I called TicketMaster again (more hold time!) Finally one rep assured me the tickets are in my account but she was not authorized to release them. She assured me that her Transfer Supervisor would call me back within the hour to transfer the tickets and clear up this mess. No call!! I called back again on the 1-800 number and wasted more time on hold and was told that there was nothing that they could do for me- no refund possible and they couldn’t transfer the tickets even though they were there in my account and I’d have to contact the other site! What a HORRIBLE experience!! I’ve purchased tickets online before and have always received them and printed them without problem! This was such a hoax and so ridiculous!! F you ticket masterI’ve been holding this in for a year now, but I would just like to say from the bottom of my heart, F you Ticketmaster. Me and my friend both tried to get concert tickets that we had been anticipating for months. We had both set up accounts, done research, were in houses with good WiFi, etc. We were as prepared as we could be to nab up the coveted tickets. But apparently Ticketmaster was not. The whole freaking site just didn’t respond for thirty minutes after the tickets went up. THIRTY MINUTES. By the time it was back online all the scalpers and bots had stolen all the tickets. I was actually emotionally scared from this whole experience because I had done so much research and was so prepared to see my all time favorite band and then I was left with nothing. I was luckily able to get some tickets from vivid seats for three times the original price. But at least my little fan girl heart wasn’t as broken. And the concert was AMAZING and worth it. But it would have been nice to spend more money on merch instead of the crazy scalper prices. All in all I can’t believe this company doesn’t have better servers and policy’s to make sure that the actual fans are the ones getting the tickets. The other thing that really pisses me off is that the band isn’t getting all the extra money I’m shelling out. Just ridiculous. I will be avoiding Ticketmaster as much as I can, but because they are the biggest company for selling tickets I know it will be difficult. Literally the WORST companyI purchased tickets to the No Shame 5SOS tour that was supposed to be last month, but the tour got cancelled back in July. I got the email about the cancellation and they said I would automatically have a refund processed for my tickets because there was to be no event. Here it is 4 months later from July and a whole month after the event, with absolutely no communication from TM, no way to CONTACT TM, and surprise surprise no money back yet either. I am struggling so much right now because I can’t work due to COVID and I could seriously use the money and to my knowledge there was no reschedule of the event. I have been trying to contact TM on their site but every time I click anything like “contact us” I get redirected to the same BS articles answering questions that don’t help one bit. I am just so frustrated at the lack of communication and the utter disregard for their customers during this time right now. I would understand if there was a high volume of customers requesting refunds, I get it I work in customer service myself, but to not even provide any sort of updates! My account just has the event under “past events” with CANCELLED over it, but other than that absolutely no relevant information. NO SEAT-MAP VIEW TO BOOKSo many websites (like AXS and Denver Performing Arts) use the “seat-map scroll-around and view” booking method where you can actually scroll around and view open seats, and select where you wanna sit. And it shows you what’s left and still open, or grayed out and already taken. This makes it SO much easier when trying to get more than 2-3 people together. And all the stadium-maps are already ON the ticket master app right? So you should be able to scroll around and see a seat map to EASILY select your tickets right? W.R.O.N.G. you only get a “list-view” so you gotta lookup and find the seat-map of your stadium online somewhere to know where you’re gonna sit ahead of time. The “list-view” is so outdated and stupid, useless waste of my time. Impossible to know WHERE you’re gonna sit ahead of time, if at all. You MUST have that “scroll around seat-map view” to book tickets now days it’s a MUST. I can’t mentally understand why a full-blown app like Ticketmaster doesn’t include this feature when on several other websites and apps does have that feature. Not using Ticketmaster anymore. Call me when you have that fixed. That should’ve been the FIRST feature you guys added. Ridiculous. The “list-view” makes it IMPOSSIBLE to know where you’re gonna be before selecting tickets. Why can’t someone make a better version of this that actually worksI’ve never been to a concert event before. I’ve been excited all year to see Beyoncé in Houston. I tried multiple using multiple apps to buy just one ticket. Each time using Ticketmaster online, on the app, and on my laptop the same error message. I call customer service to help me and he’s rude and all he did was try to help me find a ticket then direct me as to how to pay for it myself. Literally doing to same thing I was doing before. Of no use. Pleaaaaaaaaaaaaaase stop using these people because this is ridiculous. If your sold out say so. If you can’t handle the traffic from Beyoncé don’t take it on. I’m legitimately hurt I don’t get to experience this. I called my bank and everything they said there’s no issues on there end. I tried purchasing multiple different seats. Nothing worked. Major App issues preventing transfer tickets.I bought tickets to Gracie Abraham’s concert for my daughters in July. The app stated access for tickets will be granted a few days before concert. Received message from ticket master 2 days before concert stating the tickets were available. Concert is today tried transferring tix but instead got an error message when I hit transfer button. I tried chat support but only response was to call support. I called after and after 10 min of waiting on hold they answered. They could not get Ticketmaster App to work: they had me turn off WiFi. After that did not work they had me log in to Ticketmaster using safari instead of app. But that lead to a password error so I had to change my password leading to verification issues after another 5-10 min I was able to access my tickets but on the safari web based system. Needless to say the App is worthless. Having to spend 30 min on the day of the concert because they intentionally prevent access to your tickets until the last min is horrific. Apparently it is so you can not sell your tickets unless it is thru Ticketmaster so they can collect huge fees when you buy and then again if you sell! This should be illegal! Rip offVery very disappointed with Ticketmaster. I was looking for Coldplay tickets and signed up for the presale. Kept getting emails etc saying I may not get tickets and I have to hurry once it’s my turn and then once it was my turn in the presale a clock was running down and I had 1 minute or so to complete the order. The part that I’m annoyed with the absolute most is that this scam company didn’t open all the seats for sale. Only the expensive ones and grayed out the entire top section saying no tickets available indicating they are already sold out. We were shoved into queue after we have checked into the “waiting room” way before start time. We get in and are told there are “2000+” infront of us. We sat there for 30 minutes with no movement and suddenly got in to pick tickets. I say that in a joking manner because buying tickets was IMPOSSIBLE at that time. Broken LoginI have pretty much always detested TicketMaster. Their fees are outrageous, and their service is almost non-existent. I buy tickets through any other means when possible, and I have sometimes decided against buying tickets to shows I wanted to see when they were the only option. There was a show my husband really wanted to see on his birthday, so I just bought tickets from them for the first time in over a decade. It seems they have gotten even worse! Outrageous service fees, then even more outrageous fees if you want a physical ticket! I went with the "free" mobile option, now I find that I may not be able to use it, because I can't log in to their app! AggravatedFirst off I understand that every company is having staffing shortages. With that being said, I typed in Monster Jam into the search bar, it came up, I chose my seats, & paid. Immediately after I paid, it came up that I have my tickets for Monster Jam in Ohio. Ok, well…….. I live in Indiana. Yes, I chose the wrong event. I would think that if the same event, on the same day, & at the same time they would make sure you knew which event you had chosen instead of everything being in “fine print” until after you hit the purchase button. Useless over VPN useless without VPNCan’t get further than clicking an event. The app will not even display show times when connected via VPN, let alone buy a ticket. No other ticket seller service that I use prevents a user from buying tickets when connected via VPN. With VPN disabled, cannot purchase tickets. Clicking to buy pulled up the website instead. Website won’t log me in and has me change my password three times noting that my password is due for changing when I retry to log in with the new password I was just forced to change. Eventually, went into app after buying the ticket on the website because there’s no ticket to be had on the website, app says I have no tickets. Went to website again, had to change password again, then nothing. Went to website on computer, changed password again and “your phone is your ticket” when their app says I have none. In august I bought a ticket to see Judas Priest in Jacksonville, it was seating everywhere, well because it's a bunch of old farts, the old fans can't stand that long, I am able to buy a single ticket for myself which was a premium ticket(important later in story) my friend wasn't able to buy a single ticket for the seat next to me which was a worse seat, there were 5 seats left in the row. A truly miserable entity to do business withIf you're an average person looking for tickets to an even remotely national event, Good luck! You're up against scalpers and bots who use scripts to buy up all the tickets as soon as they go live. And Ticketmaster doesn't care. On the contrary they encourage it. With no real competition, they are an effective monopoly who will stoop to any low to make an extra buck. And those lows will always be at your cost fine consumer. Also, prepare to be gouged on order processing fees and service fees. Flagged as a bot—despite doing nothing wrongI have been locked out of my account on all devices for being a suspected bot. No, I am not using a vpn, private relay etc. No, I am not excessively reloading the app. No, I’m not accessing it on multiple devices at a time. What am I doing? Literally just opening the app had me flagged. I have been on the phone and sending 10+ emails between customer support—I have proved to them I am not in violation of their terms of service or anything of that matter. Awful experience do not DLI went on the Ticketmaster app to purchase tickets for a concert. The app glitches and says “your order cannot be completed because of and error” something to that effect. I say no problem then purchase tickets on another website. Come to find out I was charged for the original purchase I was specifically told via this message that it was not completed. Ticketmaster absolutely refuses to remedy the problem. They told me that because the tickets were purchased from their resale section there was nothing they could do and basically it was my fault. Which is of course complete garbage. It was their app that glitched, it was their app that has made paying bills extremely difficult (it was an expensive purchase) and it is Ticketmaster that should be held responsible for this but they continue to jerk me around and repeat the same crap about how resale tickets are non refundable. I wish the artists I love didn’t use this appIt is painstakingly difficult for me and so many other people I have spoken to to get tickets on this app/website. Recently, I registered for verified fan presale for a show, I was one of the first in line, and the app took my money and gave it back saying it crashed and I couldn’t purchase the tickets. Then, we got booted back to the start of the queue. Finally, we get back in, and now it won’t let us purchase tickets that they say are available but then aren’t for some reason after we press next to continue with the purchase. So that’s frustrating in and of itself. But it certainly doesn’t help that the customer service is one of the most if not the most horrible customer service experience I have ever had. They don’t have their phone number listed online, and after we finally found the phone number, they won’t let us speak to a representative. Need Accessible Seating? Shop elsewhere.Ticketmaster does the BARE minimum it must to accommodate customers who need accommodations brood a disability or handicap. The website and app both are egregiously different to use for this purpose, and even when you do manage to find out what the seating will be like and what accommodations are available, my mother and I once arrived at the “accessible” entrance to an event we’d purchased accessible seating at only to learn that the only way to enter without taking a substantial flight of steps was to use a wheelchair lift. My mother doesn’t use a wheelchair, but she can’t easily take a large flight of stairs, either. Then our accessible seats were exactly opposite the accessible entrance, so after wearing herself out climbing stair with considerable assistance, she had to walk halfway around the coliseum to reach her seat. After one or two other debacles using this app, I finally drove from Cincinnati to Columbus and back again just to walk up to a ticket window and purchase tickets in person rather than pay a fee to Ticketmaster for the frustration and inconvenience of being treated badly for seeking an accommodation. App Allowed my Elton John Ticket to be stolenI opened a trouble ticket with Ticketmaster a month before the show and told them 1 of my 2 tickets was listed as For Sale, but I did not list it and could not take the listing down. It was only showing listed on the phone app, not the website. They told me not to worry about it. Then the day of the show right before my mom and I walked in, the ticket sold and it deactivated my mom’s ticket. We paid $800 a piece for those tickets and to have one stolen because Ticketmaster either got their app hacked or experienced a technical screw up on their end was completely unacceptable given the month notice I provided them to address the issue. I sent another message to them after the event asking them to make it right and they never did anything about it. Ticketmaster Customer Service is no longer required now they are a monopoly thanks to the federal government allowing the merger with Live Nation. Taylor Presale NightmareI did not sign up for the Verified Fan pre-sale nor any other pre-sale promotions in time. I was planning to purchase tickets on Friday for the public release; however, Ticketmaster has decided to CANCEL the public release of tickets. Never before has an entire tour been sold out before tickets are available to the general public. I understand that there is an extremely high demand for tickets for Taylor Swift’s Eras tour. However, this is ridiculous. What’s even more ridiculous is the sheer number of tickets available on resale websites, especially for a tour with “unprecedented demand”. StubHub and other resale websites have jacked up prices more than 10x their original sale value. And they have plenty of tickets, which reveals a massive flaw in the Verified Fan pre-sale process and Ticketmaster’s policies. If the purpose was to prevent resellers from grabbing all the tickets, it failed. Miserably. Now the general public, including myself, have NO CHANCE to purchase tickets. At least, at a reasonable price. This is a monopoly on the ticket market, and this is price gouging. We demand better processes be set up to limit the number of pre-sale registrations, the number of tickets that can be purchased, and vast improvements to be made to your website and ticket selection programs to prevent system crashing during periods of high demand such as these. Eras tourOkay, so I know you are probably sick of hearing about Taylor swift. But my experience with Ticketmaster was AWFUL! I got into the first presale for Inglewood, CA but I was in Australia at the time so I had to wake up at 3am just to try and buy my tickets. And as you know the Inglewood tickets and a couple other were pushed back another 6hrs. I went back to sleep and got up at 8am to prepare to buy my tickets at 9. Don’t make any mistakes!!!I purchased tickets for the wrong date. There is no way to fix it via the app and when you call in you get stuck in an endless voice activated menu system!!! Once you do get someone that can change the tickets they tell you that you have to get permission from the insurance. Calling the insurance was the most pleasant part of this experience, they even stayed on the phone when I called TM back. This time the rep stated that there was no need for the insurance to be involved but they needed to get permission from the venue to change the dates. After getting approved, three days later, the prices had doubled and TM charged an additional change fee of $10 per ticket. I get it it was my fault that I didn’t pay attention but wow $65 more per ticket times 6 tickets, I would have expected a little more compassion from the TM reps... but I would loose the original money collected if I just cancel so I sucked it up and paid for the change. Two day later the app updated with six more tickets (now twelve) all for the original date and I never got any confirmation my tickets had been updated in the system... so I called back. On this call the rep said that once a change is made to the order the App info is no longer valid and that I should have know this. I then asked for something stating the tickets are issued for the correct date where I was told all the can do is give verbal confirmation... this is completely wrong in this day and age. Very bad appIt's the only way I found to buy The Neighborhood tickets and at first it was confusing, because it said that the pre-sale ended at 10 and it was 5, I was waiting on a page where it showed a countdown to the general sale, I didn't know which one I was waiting for if the general sale or the pre-sale. I guess that was my mistake. Unfortunately I couldn't get the tickets from my cell phone because of my work, which I logged in from a relative's cell phone, at the time of the general sale my relative came in 10 minutes earlier and asked me to verify the Gmail, well I had to do it myself and luckily it was early it was still 10, I checked it and when I charge between I got 1 ticket, when I was going to the part to pay it asked me to enter a number of my card, which I had already put in the app to be able to pay the tickets more "fast" unfortunately I didn't have That card at that time, so I didn't get angry I assumed it was for security and I put my PayPal, when I paid, I charged and a text came out saying that the payment could not be completed due to an error, I tried everything to buy another ticket and it said that they had sold out, come back later. Monopolizing Costs with TreacheryI downloaded this app, just briefly, the day before I would need it to purchase tickets for a major, very popular, music event. I attempted to login to my account on my PC separately the next day in order to update my payment information before the queue would open but conveniently could not because they were having ‘technical difficulties’ and many others online were also complaining of being unable to log into their accounts. So, I was unable to streamline my future purchasing process but that was shown to be irrelevant as I will reveal thusly. Later, after waiting in queue for a half hour the tickets that were shown as available could not be purchased when selected. Later that day, many more tickets were available but only about a third of them were listed as a ‘verified’ reselling of the ticket but the rest didn’t say they weren’t new, while all the tickets were 3-4 times the price of the original. At the same time the band appeared to believe that all the tickets were sold out to all their events and had set the prices for their own event to be between $59-$200. Some moments you cannot get backSuper proud of my kid who got to go on the ice during the Flyers game. Got there in time (came from work) only to have my neighbor transfer the ticket. The first few attempts say “unable to transfer ticket” so I restarted my phone. Then neighbor calls me and gives me his log in information only for his account to say ticket was transferred. Had to look through phone and get my original sign in information only to have the app not allow me to log in in anything besides my neighbors account “let app use website to log-in”. So I had to delete my cookies after logging out to finally clear my neighbors info so I could log in. Do NOT use app for popular events!!Let me save you all from getting screwed out of those hard-to-get tickets at initial sale time: DO NOT USE THE APP!! Let me explain what will happen to you using my own experience. One hour before the start of the sale, the app put me in a virtual “queue.” When the sale started, it showed me where I was at in line, real-time. I was “2000+” behind which I learned the hard way is the maximum the app will display. As you wait it will give you minute by minute updates of how all of the good seats are selling out while your place in line continues to be “2000+.” I thought I should wait because every time I called the number it was busy. Finally, after 39 minutes and all the good seats were sold, I was still 2000+ in line and it looked like it would be at least another hour before I get to the front of the queue. In desperation, I called and the line was no longer busy! I was able to cut in front of everyone in the queue with that call and purchase the tickets. Word to the wise - do not use this app if they put you in a queue longer than 50 people. It’s a total joke and you’re better off just trying to call. App doesn’t workTried to purchase some tickets to see dead and co at citi field. As I’ve done for the past 5 years, I was 15 minutes early to presale and waited in queue to get my tickets. Here I am up next and I choose General Admission, which I also get each year, and put in my card info and click buy. A few minutes go by and it says “application error” so I use Apple Pay and it says “payment confirmed. Please sit tight while we get your verified tickets”. I’m waiting, and waiting, a few minutes go by and I’m still waiting. Meanwhile, the timer to buy my tickets keeps on ticking. I keep waiting and next thing I know the timer runs out. “Your window to purchase tickets has expired and your tickets have been released”... I try again to get the tickets. I get back in queue and it says “it’s your turn! Redirecting you to seat map” and that’s all it does. Contacting Ticketmaster is simply not possible so they couldn’t help me. I had to go to another device to get the tickets and by time I got to the device the only General Admission tickets left were VIP packages that cost double the price. Worst Ticket App EverI bought tickets for a concert 5 months in advance and was so excited about it. As the event got closer and closer, my tickets were still being processed and I had received no update on my order. However, the website and app assured that I would have the tickets by the date of the concert. I tried to use the “contact us” chat box provided on the website but the bot was incredibly unhelpful. The week of the concert I was getting worried and was checking my email and app for status updates daily because I am a frequent concert goer and was not used to not having tickets in my possession this close to the concert. The day before the concert I had to find the customer service phone number (that I could not find on their website) and called for help. The woman on the line looked up my order number and assured that I would have the tickets by tomorrow (the day of the concert) and that this was normal and I should not worry. She even said that people have called with this concern before and she had never had anyone call back that did not receive their tickets. It is now the day of the concert. When it is 12 hours away and I still do not have my tickets I could feel in my gut something was wrong. I tried to call customer service again starting at 9 am when it says their hours open. I called 20 times and never got through to any help. It is 4 hours before the concert and I get an email that my tickets are no longer available and Ticketmaster is sorry for the inconvenience. After seeking help and receiving none it is safe to say I am never trusting Ticketmaster with my purchases ever again. Ticketmaster SCAM PLEASE READTickets for any concert are all worth EXACTLY the same. But because of “popularity” ticket prices fluctuates. Ticketmaster likes to use this to advantage to scam more than what it’s worth on everyone buying tickets. The concert I was going to had seats ranging from $50-$300 nosebleeds to floor seats. But because tickets were not selling as quickly in a timely manner as TM has hoped. They dropped all seat prices to $20, equalizing nosebleeds, mid seats, and floor seats to “$20”. I already purchased two tickets days before for $50 ea. Not including tax and service fees. I’m paying $150 for crappy seats. When floor seats are now ONLY $20!!! I can’t even get the difference in money back because of their “agree to no refund” BS policy. Everyone going now gets the pay only $20 for ANY seats now. I paid 7x the price that people are getting for a fraction of what it was originally sold for. Ticketmaster monopolized and control ticket prices whenever they want and I think someone needs to stand up against this giant business because they are seizing money and making up “agreements” to trap everyone into paying their outrageous prices. Almost UnusableReally trying to be diplomatic here but I’m failing to see how Ticketmaster is anywhere near the top with an app that is as glitchy as this one is. First, it wouldn’t let me update my payment info…the button to submit was nowhere to be found. As a result, I was late getting into the queue for a recent presale. Guess that should teach me for not checking beforehand. I ended up having to go to the site and update it there and should have just joined the queue there but I guess I’m not very good at picking up on signs and decided to go back to the app and join the queue there. Once I got through the queue and was looking for tickets, every time I clicked on seats it was laggy and delayed and no matter which ones I clicked on, they all said they were no longer available. Ticketmaster is pretty much a scamI almost never write reviews but felt i have to because I always thought ticketmaster was the most reputable place to purchase tickets. I was wrong. Spent nearly $5,000 on concert tickets a month ago on ticket master and have no idea where they are it says they would be mailed between 10-14 business days of purchase. But my concert is in 9 days and i have 0 information on where my tickets are. Not only are you adding 15% to the price of the ticket for absolute nonsense (ticket transfer fee), you are the only way that I can get tickets to all events at Ball Arena.
