‘Scrolling in view’So far, the highlight of this social media app has helped me understand what it really is all about to be part of a ‘Tok’ family participant. Being respectful & mindful of the other users posts are important for lots of reasons. To me, if you believe in their posts to be genuine, they’ll build more content based on good feedback from community input & support. I choose to not supply content of my own or build large follower-ship based on my experiences w/ career or other. I mainly enjoy watching others do exactly the same ? It’s a lot of fun. Although, as far as the app use settings are concerned (they must run you’ll a chunk of change in data, at least), having the ability to ‘scroll in’ to view I’ve found myself trying to do on several occasions. Whether or not the field being examined is ; location evidence in the landscape, a road sign, famous insignia or a feature, appealing marks of an attractive woman or person, list goes on, foods even. Then I wonder, maybe there’s a good reason they can’t or won’t ; Mobil device transfer pixel range always too fuzzy, or guidelines per video only allows ‘one’ viewing method, would contradict too much liability. These are just my hunches ? You have your reasons, I’m certain. Even if you did so decide, as a forum, to allow ‘scrolling in’ to be available on ‘Tok’ it seems to me it would be easier to have on a new select version or improved app… What’s there really to improve, right ? TikTok SuggestionsI LOVE TikTok it’s my favorite app and I use it everyday for many many hours! Also I think that TikTok should add a few things. There should more smaller accounts on the for you page so more people could get famous. If someone made a hashtag in their video for example that say ForYouPage they should automatically go on the ForYouPage for people like Charli to see or other famous people. I don’t think that TikTok needs anything to be better because it’s already such a popular app but I just think that these would be really nice to add and to help others become more famous. I think that also you should also be able to make videos longer than 60 seconds because some people want to make like mini movies so it would be nice to make longer videos. Also the dislike button on comments would be very useful because people could see that maybe that wasn’t a good comment to post or that is was mean. I think that maybe there shouldn’t be a specific amount of space to write a comment cause some people want to write longer comments but there’s never enough space to write something long. I think it would also be nice if there would be a automatic scroll cause sometimes I’m doing something and I just hear the same song over and over again. Speaking of automatic scrolling there could also be something where you go to your favorites and when you tap on sounds it would just automatically change the song when it would be over so it could be like a playlist. My complaintTikTok is overall a good platform, but I just wanted to come out here and say you’ve been in my account for no reason I’m of age to be on this platform and I see no reason to ban me I would ask for my account back politely by the next morning that I wake up, I should receive a email that says you have now got your account back there is no possible way for me to get streaks nor send or share any videos to anybody the only pro about this platform is I can watch many likable and relatable videos and scroll all day and make endless pretty TikTok’s all of the time I come on here to write a review about this devastating news that I’ve just got it seems every time I hit a certain amount of followers you decide to ban my account which is totally unfair. Taking down videosThere are so many white girls that are half naked but when a black girl does it with shorts in and a long swimsuit top her video gets taken down. Also other people have gotten there videos taken down for doing nothing but when someone is drawing some nude photos or making there pfp something inappropriate everyone brushes it off. Another thing is that there has been so much racist and homophobic people on here and TikTok does nothing. People say the n word and TikTok laughs and brushes it off but then acts all serious when a black girl with shorts on is dancing in a non inappropriate way. Also you refuse to verify LBGTQ users. There are some with in between 5-10 million followers who are part of the LBGTQ community and you refuse to verify them. Those terms and conditions we read when we first downloaded this app doesn’t apply to some people. You guys don’t take off people like Chase and Mattia for being so racist but you take down pages for saying one cuss word or having a swimsuit on with shorts. I feel like TikTok is racist because of some of these reasons and also you never do anything about some of these fairy comments. I'm really gonna miss tiktokHi there, I've had the app tiktok since I was young and I've seen how much it's grown and changed and developed over the years, and its insane how huge its gotten. Over 170,000,000 AMERICANS use the app, that's not i counting any other country like oh my gosh. But I've also seen how basically over the course of five, almost 6 years it's documented my life. I've been able to go back and watch myself grow up into a teenager and its left me speechless. My heart breaks thinking about how today is our last day with this app. And my heart breaks even more knowing that what is essentially my digital diary is just going to disappear in 12 hours. Banning apps is fascism.Taking away an app because you are scared the American people will turn against the government takes away the right of forming an opinion and the right of free speech. Tik Tok Makes Me HAPPYThank you for bringing little sparks of joy into my days. It seems that we’re all suffering from a little smidgen of mental health issues since 2020. I know I tend to get very anxious, am prone to the occasional full on panic attack and my thoughts can quickly do to “doomsday” notions if left unchecked. Sometimes a couple minutes of scrolling and smiling is precisely what the doctor ordered for a bit of a change in mental scenery. Probably the best “Social Media” app out there right now. It helps so many people from different walks of life not only come together and love on/begin to have empathy for and understand one another, but it also gives us each a little glimmer of hope that we are NOT alone, we ARE GOING to be alright and that there are more people out there in the real world who are just like us and even share a similar sense of humor, similar interests and hobbies! DisappointedI love musically before I uploaded it. The new update makes my camera look two lower phones camera Quality, before the update my phone camera looked perfectly fine. Before the update the filters were One of my favorite things now they change the filters to like like B3 or B9 before there was my favorite one cello and Latin which was awesome those are my favorite filters that musically used to have. The filters just look dated and not cute now. I Yeshua approve of this app!In this app I see healing brotherhood, sisterhood and boys becoming men. Girls becoming woman through what once was groups only known as AA or others like it. Best experience everI remember downloading tiktok when it was a meme to have it. But I just wanted to check it out. But since 2019, it’s been hands down the best app I’ve ever used. It might sound braindead to even say a sentence like that, but it was legitimately the most fun I’ve ever had on an app. I was able to find people I could relate to, post that I found funny, issues that mattered to me along with research and evidence that I’d make sure was correct, and overall got content I cared about. I’ve changed so much these past 6 years, and some of it is due to tiktok. Ive changed my views because I was able to see the perspective of others. And you know what? I LOVE TIKTOKI love TikTok it helps me escape the rest of the world. My parents say it fries my brain but actually, there are many helpful videos on math tutoring, homework help, or just how to do random day to day things. There are many positive people on tiktok that can build you up. Great but they should add thingsTiktok is a great app. When you have nothing to do it’s a great app to scroll on because they have a mix of things like story times, comedy, dancing, povs, life hacks, baking, sports, animals and much more so it can really be anything that your interested in. I have a few ideas that can make tiktok better then it already is. Many people have different accounts trying to get fame, I already know they have the tab at the top to switch accounts, but maybe they should have more then 3. Tiktok should also have a dislike button, if something on your foryou page is wrong to you like making a joke about your friend or give hate on someone that doesn’t deserve it, you should be able to dislike a video so that people know it is wrong. Another idea that should change is when tiktok takes down videos that are perfectly fine. My best friend made this video about us as kids and growing and it got taken down 12 times. Also big creators videos are taken down a lot to for simply dancing or something. I think tiktok should update this. My last idea is that you shouldn’t have to have 1k followers to go live. Second I have a major problem with how they changed privates into drafts , I remember that when you would wanna watch your privates you could just scroll through them . But now you have to click into the video and click out to watch another one , it’s so stupid to me . Third , I have a art account on musically and if the girl in the drawing showed a tiny bit of her stomach the video would be taken down . but I see real people ,like Danielle Cohn, who show so much skin and their video doesn’t get taken down . Fourth I hate how their is a shorter limit to what you could comment and have in your bio . When I first joined musically you could have a pretty long bio , but know you can’t even go over like 50 character which is so stupid , and the same goes for comments too . Tiktok is great, but needs some improvements but only a little bit of improvementsI think that Tiktok is a good app. The only bad thing is that the app has users that don’t use it the right way and are inipropriate and things that nobody wants to see. I also think that tiktok should have less bad worded songs. More songs that are family friendly. The only reason I’m saying this is because my parents made me delete it and my mom hates it. They are worried about young minds getting addicted and posting a million videos a day and that’s why I got it taken away. NewsI get everything going on in the world before corporate news knows about it. Free speech with some guide lines to protect from bullies and bigots. Users hold other users accountable and can ask questions. Debate isn’t frowned upon. Aside from that, lots of art and small business owners what are genuine hard working people who deserve to have their product known about and shared. Hard topics are discussed. Certain words an censored… which I understand but it’s definitely a duality understanding. We should be able to say those words-it could be Weaponized against victims. It’s the reality of us. I’ll miss the communitiesI think tiktok is and always has been a great platform. DisappointedWhen I originally signed up for this app it was so much fun and I have been on about Two years now and I am not the only one that sees the drastic change and how tik tok allows certain people to get away with things. I have really been thinking about deleting this app entirely there’s a bunch of us that are thinking of doing a boy cot to tik tok to get some sort of answers . Very nice and entertaining app! Message ban is ridiculous though.I would totally give five stars, but I ran into an issue some other people have ran into as well and it’s hard to contact TikTok about this directly. But I was messaging my friends and we had very long streaks and one day last week I was banned from messaging for “being under 16” when I’m 20 years old. I chose the request to submit my drivers license from the appeal in my message box instead of the credit card option to prove my age. It said right after I would get my appeal reviewed after 24 hours. It’s been a week. I’ve sent multiple support tickets since then saying I’ve reviewed the rules and that I’m sorry there was a misunderstanding and even submitting them my photos for proof AGAIN and they only send me a message that they can’t do anything if I already sent an appeal. So approve it for me?? I don’t get it. I’ve sent all I needed to and now my regular messages are completely gone in my inbox area. I went to search for other ways to get it approved only to see spam messages or people saying it’s been YEARS and they still didn’t get their appeal approved. This needs to be fixed. Kind of a newbee but loving it so much!I just wish there was more information or maybe a better organized help area because I don’t understand a lot of what’s going on behind the scenes. Great way to reach out and touch so many livesTiktok is great because it has given so many folks all around the world a voice. Before TikTok came into the world I’m pretty sure that so many people and animals and the land we all live on had much more abuse going on every day. Not my phone it’s actually the app it’s self ):So recently TikTok has not been working for me and I have tried everything to fix it. I have even tried to delete the app at re-download it ... I’m not sure why it won’t work because my internet connection and WiFi are perfectly fine and all my other apps work perfectly. When I enter the TikTok app it won’t let me use it.. at all like it says no connection and error every where and the for you and following pages are just black. EXTREMELY ADDICTIVEI’m 12 years old and I got this app because of musically. I personally will find myself scrolling and scrolling down the “for you page” for HOURS at a time. It’s honestly ridiculous. And I know for a fact that I’m not the only one. My friends and family have the same problem. I’ve even heard some of my favorite youtubers say that they just can’t put this app down. Which is a good thing right? Well sometimes yes. I would find it harmless if the things you were watching for hours at a time were just funny dancing videos or comedy videos, which is what this platform was intended to be anyway, but it’s not. Instead people will find themselves watching videos of sad things or things that just hit to close to home. Things that are becoming trends are things like people telling about abuse in the past, or sexual abuse, or maybe someone is doing a story time about kids that went to jail for murdering someone (YES I’VE SEEN A TIKTOK ABOUT THAT) It just blows my mind some of the things that I see on this app. I’m not trying to throw shade on this app because really is a great app. I love most of the videos on the for you page, I love making videos, and I love that you can connect with friends and get followers. My reviewI’m having better days with TikTok.. I was having videos removed & They were shared by myself or I’d see videos with War & weapons etc .. We have Firearms Training Co to help Women & Men get Proper training & permits! Mine were being removed.. other violations were video was restored but my account under threat for violations that thru appeal was restored or found not to violate but still held against me.. Surgery which is my story of how Drs Hospital said for yrs nothing wrong but they had Scan showing Cancer telling me my test results were negative!!! .. I went down to 89 lbs before I got copies of medical records & found that Scan so I showed what nothing wrong looks like & having kidney removed with No Pain Meds to punish me for finding out they lied .. it could be covered with warnings let people decide if they want to see it or not.. that’s been done! Love the app but some things bug me.I’ve been using tiktok since before they rebranded from musicly, I’ve seen most of the updates. The most annoying thing I think that has ever been added to this app was getting notifications for one one of you’re friends likes a video you reposted. It’s a completely unnecessary feature that just clogs up your notification inbox. Another thing is the constant removal of nice and unique features, like adding comments on reposts, pinned comments, and being able to comment on stories. The constant removal of these fun features really makes tiktok blend in with other social media apps, I just feel it makes it more bland. The last thing that I can think of off the top of my head is how ads are plastered everywhere. Every few scrolls I’ll get an ad for TikTok shop or I’ll see a sponsored video and I just have to keep seeing it the whole time I’m scrolling. I think the addition to put ads at the end of tiktok videos really shows how much it’s done downhill, it’s such an unnecessary and stupid thing to have added, there isn’t a better way to show that you are money hungry. Amazing, but it could be betterI’m a long time user of tiktok and let me just start off by saying that I absolutely love this app. With that being said, I definitely think that there are things that could make it even better. Firstly, having a search feature to look through your liked/bookmarked videos. I’ve found that because I like videos with fewer likes, if I just try to look it up using the sound I can’t find it because there are so many videos with more likes. Secondly, maybe having an auto scroll feature so that I can still watch tiktoks while doing other things like cleaning my room without having to watch the same video 15 times before I get to my phone to swipe to the next one. Lastly, having an option to make your FYP consist of videos under hashtags that you follow. I still want to be able to find new creators, it’s just hard to gauge how many videos under that hashtag to like before i’ll get them consistently on my FYP. This would also be helpful for new members who automatically start off on “straight” tiktok and might not like the app because they’re not aware that there’s more to tiktok than that—it’s a whole process to get your fyp to meet those interests when it’s purely based off of just what videos you interact with. I’m not saying to completely change the algorithm, i would just like to see the option to do these things. Those are the only things that I can think of that would make the app even better than it already is, because I love this app and just want it to be able to reach its full capabilities. I love it! Except...When I first purchased this app I started off making a couple videos of myself on a private account for my friends. However, I started to want to create a second account that focused on my artwork since I am an artist and thought that getting a second account that was only my artwork seemed like a good way to get myself out there. I wanted to keep my first account because I had tailored my fyp and made it my account that I could just scroll though and laugh at while my art account consisted of only art and nothing else, so you can probably see why I wanted to keep both accounts: it had a good balance. However, it didn’t take long for me to realize that in order to have a pro account and message other artists on this app I would need my phone number in my art account. I assumed since I had both accounts on my phone I could use my phone number on both accounts. But when i found out that my phone number could only be used on one account that would mean I would need to delete my personal account, wait 30 days and put my phone number into my art account. This made no sense to me considering that I created my art account with instagram, who already have my phone number. So now I don’t know what to do considering the fact I have my phone number linked to my personal account that I do not intend to delete but I need a phone number for my art account more than my personal account. AmazingI love tiktok but it has a super bad thing. I did not know that for changing the phone number you needed to have the previous one activated and confirm it all over again to then activate the new phone number. This rule is simply not good. My husband and I had to change our phones because of personal reasons. We did not intended to change our number. We tried to stay with the same number but couldn’t for reasons behind our control and the whole Sprint and T-mobile merger. Anyways, the thing is that now we cannot change our phone number in our tiktoks’ account.
