Useful but brokenI am an avid user and early adopter of this app at my school, and I really enjoy it, it fixes so many things I dislike about social media and even when it’s stupid I still find useful info about what is happening on my campus faster than any other medium. However, it does have a major problem, and that is blocking. I have a stalker who was able to identify my posts, and even after I blocked my stalker comments were still viewable to them. I still get notifications when they call me out by name on comments or reFizzes and the only solution would be to irreversibly delete my account. While I can understand why this is a more difficult issue to fix than it seems this should be a development priority and until then I can only say: download this app, but post nothing.LordgronkVersion: 1.12.22
FrustratedI found this app about a week or so ago and i’ve grown to love it, but they updated posting amounts by making you “wait a FEW MINUTES” before making a post after you’ve posted 3 within like a half hour to an hour? 🤨 Sometimes I just have a lot on my mind and want to post so why am I being put in time out just leaving and reentering the app every few minutes to try to post again. I’m not exactly sure how long it makes you wait because usually I leave the app out of frustration because I can’t post on it (yasss user engagement!). I get spamming issues, but maybe there should be a cooldown for people flagged for spam by… MODERATORS? Why am I forced to be shut up by an app who spreads… community? Socialization? Also the way I can’t even use my handle anymore for ALL of my posts? 🤔 What was the point of this change? So now not only are my posts unable to be verifiably posted by ME, but I truly don’t understand the point? Can other people not just enter their pseudonym as my handle? I don’t know… but I do know that i’m getting frustrated with the updates 😩 Just let me post freely please!!!.Taylorp04Version: 1.13.23
Fun, but succumbs to karma farming and rules aren’t inforced very wellIta a fun way to hear what is happening and what people think on campus, and to help answer questions and sometimes get feedback.
worst part is there is an overwhelming abundance of fake posts. like, theres memes, and then there is just blantly lying to farm karma, and mods cannot do anything about it because it is not a rule.
people will post fake pregnancy tests, AI text message images, and things stolen from facebook or reddit and claim its real. it waters down the authenticity of the app, so maybe only 20-30% of the posts are actually substantive or legitimate scenarios.
-there is no functional search function and it either says ‘no posts exists with that word’ or gives seemingly random ones that dont match the search criteria at all.
-there no limitation on people making bot accounts and its not uncommon to see the same couple posts verbatim every couple weeks.
-there is seemingly no limit on people who just farm the hell out of karma. its incredibly obvious in my school that 70-80% of the posts are all made by the same person, but mods cant do anything about it.
-unfortunately posts that are mean or slander are not always removed, especially if they have more 100 upvotes or have been around for a couple hours.
there have been several circumstances of people just being rumored to hell or called out for things that never happened, and its a shame it cant be stopped other mods wont agree to remove it because the upvotes and lifetime of the post cause bystander effect..Reyl111Version: 1.36.1
Some recommendationsI use Fizz often and I have a few badges left to collect, though the “SIMP” badge doesn’t seem to be functioning properly. I’ve had the top post of the day several times with the crush category but it doesn’t unlock it for me. Additionally, the badges are my incentive to keep posting so I would love if there was more for me to accomplish. Maybe make one for being at the top of the leaderboard? Or make one for tons of down votes? That would be hilarious and challenging. Also my friends with samsung devices really want fizz but they are unable to get it. The last thing I might recommend is a chat option for mods to communicate and also help make the platform safer and more user friendly.
Thanks Fizz,
Looking forward to the next update!.BacelightVersion: 1.13.121
Rampant RacismThe anonymity of the app allows and encourages individuals to express incredibly racist and ignorant views without consequence. Despite the supposed mods, nothing seems to be done about these issues. It seems the app is split halfway between its intended use of being fun and building genuine community and halfway between being incredibly racist, sexist, ableist, discriminatory, and hateful. It’s a shame because this app has potential but as with any anonymous app, there will be people to ruin it. I wish that Fizz mods would take reports more seriously and do a better job to moderate the language and content permeating the app. L app.JarbeefuggaVersion: 1.17.0
Great App!Honestly since getting Fizz, I’ve used it so much more than other social media apps. I’m able to healthily engage with other users in my community and have discourse over a variety of topics while relating to my peers about current events. It’s refreshing to see that a social media platform has created a place for students to connect with each other to answer questions and relate in a deeper way than on other apps. Fizz is a great resource to keep up with what is going on and has helped me gauge my school’s environment in a really positive way!.LeGoat101Version: 1.14.21
Fizz to the 🌕🚀I think fizz is an amazing app for numerous reasons. But I think main reason is because it truly can bring people together. Especially for college students who go through the everyday hustle of classes, professors, personal life, etc, fizz honestly allows students to destress from this hustle and find other people who they can relate to on this platform. Through shared laughter from current events, memes, etc it’s easy to see why fizz is an amazing app and I only hope that it other grows in the future 👍.TheMonke50$Version: 1.14.21
Community building appI got fizz when I first got to college and it has one of my favorite apps since! It makes it so much easier to know what’s going on around campus and it’s good way to know what events are happening. I open fizz every morning like it’s my school newspaper. It’s also so fun to contribute to the conversation on fizz and I can say and be anyone I want to be. Fizz is a 10/10 app for sure and college wouldn’t be the same without it!.ThewizardjellyVersion: 1.14.21
BugCool app but a bug is making the experience impossible.
After a while of using the all, I realized I couldn’t delete DM conversations, as each time I refreshed, they would reappear. Then I noticed that as I was getting new messages, I wasn’t able to open the conversations. To see if it would help, I deleted and reinstalled the app, and now none of my conversations will load, even if I start new ones. The DM feature is completely broken, and I’ve lost contact with some friends I was messaging. Posting and commenting works fine, at least. Even if the moderation lets bigoted posts through now and then..Juryrig16Version: 1.13.27
One problemI really do love fizz, but that’s also my biggest problem with it. i recently graduated and now my email is about to be deleted. all i want to see is a feature to allow me to keep viewing my schools fizz post. i don’t expect to be allowed to contribute to the community anymore but i really use this app to keep up to date with everything on campus and i just don’t want that taken away. i think fizz should implement a feature to allow you to put in a secondary email so once ur school email is deleted ur not completely cut off or even just allow people to view other schools post without be a student there. again, i don’t expect to be allowed to post anymore but i just like knowing what’s going on with my alma matter. the instagram page somewhat offers this already but honestly it’s just okay and they mostly only post the funny stuff and not the news worthy stuff..KawabungakingkongVersion: 1.31.1
Fizz is simply incredible.I have been using Fizz since I first arrived on my college’s campus as a freshman. It has truly changed my college experience for the better by connecting me with the community around me and giving me an outlet to voice my honest thoughts and feelings throughout my college journey - made possible by the app’s anonymous nature. I totally recommend Fizz to any and every college student. It’s incredible!.Akara0405Version: 1.14.21
Mostly good, poll issuesGreat app, for the most part good. It was a huge downgrade when they started making it so you can’t see how many people voted for each option in a poll, only the percentages. Which they showed before.
It would also be nice if you could change your vote in a poll or unvote if you accidentally click the wrong thing. But I get why they don’t have that feature—to make the results as accurate/unedited as possible..Captain-Cuttlefish_____019Version: 1.38.0
Very Shady AppI got this app while I was at college and I loved how there were no ads. Then I realized there are no ads. I tried to do some digging around to make sure my private information wasn’t being leaked, but their website is garbage and I can find almost nothing about this app online. I’m a paranoid person and this app scares me due to the lack of information I could find on it..Trombone_DudeVersion: 1.13.57
Moderately buggy and terrible customer supportFizz needs some debugging. Sometimes after I make a post, the post has already been submitted, but the UI continues showing the loading circle as if it’s still being uploaded. I’ve even received a Fizz Up on a post while the loading indicator was still displayed, which means the post was already live despite the app suggesting otherwise. Customer support also hasn’t been particularly helpful when dealing with issues..ReallyfunnyguyVersion: 1.39.0
Fun, exciting, relevantAt my school (Stanford), everyone I know is on Fizz. I use the app mostly for campus news and memes. It’s really fast paced because there’s literally a new post every minute but that’s what makes it good. The DMs are also pretty useful if you want to get advice from others while staying anonymous.
A couple suggestions: allow people to send images in DMs, allow posting of videos.Slowninja5Version: 1.5.1
My chances to connectEveryone on my campus uses the app so it’s honestly really easy to just ask what is going on during the weekend and connect with people. It’s also nice to see what other students are sharing about their experience here. Being in touch with their experiences and sharing my own makes me feel more in touch.NoDubNoFoodVersion: 1.14.21
Fizz is a campus must have!I love using Fizz! At my schools, it’s the first place I check to see if parties are actually popping off. Anytime you have a random question about what’s happening on campus, people respond fast. And if something big goes down, you can always count on Fizz to have the who, what, where, and when almost instantly..Knap05Version: 1.14.21
Accidentally submitted an imageI accidentally submitted an image verification that was an inappropriate meme instead of my college acceptance letter and I’m afraid of people from the college will see it, along with my personal information, and there was absolutely no way for me to withdraw the image and I cannot even delete my account (as it’s new; there is no deactivation either).NelsonDihVersion: 1.38.0
My Favorite AppI legitimately use Fizz more than instagram, snap, and tiktok combined lol. There's new content all the time and it's all so funny and relatable. Plus the different features and different kinds of posts are so cool and endlessly entertaining! If you're not on Fizz you're missing out on one of the best ways to be part of campus culture and community imo.AliDrewsVersion: 1.5.3
Great replacement for what YikYak used to be!Works great, I like the tags features and organizations that are all from my school. Glad there is something like this when YikYak got bought and became worse. My one suggestion that I’d like to see implemented would be to be able to pick which campus you are on, within the school, and be able to only see fizz posts from your campus..IanhamboneVersion: 1.13.39
Unusable on Mac; text cut offFizz is a great app on mobile but on Mac and I assume on desktops more broadly, the text on posts is cut off. It makes the app functionally unusable because fully reading posts becomes impossible. It’s usually just the last few characters in a caption, but every character counts. Hopefully this is an easy fix. Otherwise like the app. But this is a really bad issue that has gone unsolved for the weeks I’ve had Fizz on my Mac..DanielBMannVersion: 1.29.0
Why am I getting mutedI really enjoy this app however I got muted for an hour for some reason and it said because of spam posts but the last post I had made before this was 20 minutes prior and as far as I can tell none of my posts were taken down. I wish there was an appeal process because I definitely feel like I was unfairly muted.Okblue12135*Version: 1.13.59
I love my fizz community!I’ve been using the app for over a year and I love that I can express myself openly on there. I can’t do that on other social media apps. Fizz: Your Authentic Community Negative Reviews
An App for Dating, Sexting or Fighting, Nothing Else. The app has always been questionable but when it took down the barriers between schools the downhill descent began. The feed is constantly pictures of people's bodies and inappropriate content. You can find videos of people literally having sex at certain times of night. You can find people being transphobic, homophobic, and colorist despite this being an app for people of color.
Now, they opened the app to anyone. This isn't a college app anymore, it's for anyone. Locals that don't go to any kind of school can now make accounts, and that's so dangerous. You used to have a sense of security knowing you were at the very least speaking to fellow college students. Now you could be talking to someone of any age and demographic, anywhere in your city. This has become a hunting grounds for predatory and insecure users that enjoy tearing other people down or looking for people to have sex with. I hate what it's become, because the concept was great.
You all ran this thing into the ground, congratulations on ruining your product..Anonymous Reviewee 26489Version: 1.13.154
Moderation Issues, Part 2I made a review some time ago out of frustration because I was muted within my own school’s Fizz channel for “bullying” when what I posted was nowhere close to bullying. This actually happened a few times, not in a single case.
Now I’m back because yesterday, I was suspended—not muted, but suspended. I guess it may be because I’ve been muted too many times within a short timeframe. It did not give a duration, so I assume it was indefinitely. However, the truth is that I have NOT been breaching the community guidelines. I have been VERY tame on this app, especially compared to other users who post things that the “trained” (hard to believe) moderators let slide. I’m sure those same users have been out of compliance even since I’ve been suspended, and I’m sure they’re still not being handled.
I’m not 100% bothered about the suspension because moderation is unstable and unreliable, but that doesn’t mean I can’t be offended, especially when faced with an injustice and abuse of power.
I am fully confident that I never posted anything out of compliance with the rules and regulations of this community even one time yesterday nor within the past week (at least).
Developers need to make sure that moderators they supposedly “train” fully understand what they’ve been trained to do, how they’ve been trained to do it, and what situations call for certain measures of punishment (if any at all). Moderation is one thing pulling this app down..JalenC04Version: 1.14.25
Fizz enables harassment and refuses to take accountabilityI am a student at a school that recently voted to unenroll from Fizz and so far, Fizz has refused to unenroll my institution. At my school, some of the loveliest people I know were harassed online using Fizz. A few people feared going to classes because of what people on Fizz said about them, with content moderators going little to help. We officially decided to unenroll, yet Fizz failed to respect this decision, presumably because it prefers maintaining its revenue at the expense of my community to acting with the smallest bit of human decency and terminating our connection to the service for good. I have completely disengaged with Fizz personally, but until Fizz respects our campus’s decision to unenroll, Fizz will never truly disengage with me. To those considering connecting this service to your school—when you realize that the shine and shimmer of anonymity fades and harassment and bullying reign in its place, just know that even if your school requests unenrollment, there is no backing out of this Pandora’s Box of an app..Minecat :)Version: 1.15.14
ZERO STARS HONESTLYAll this all does is allow people to bring people down and silence the people actually posting for help. This app has done nothing but make colleges degrade others. Other than people posting about wanting “s3x” it’s just people bullying others and spreading rumors. but everytime i post about s3xua1 assu1t and predators, the post is taken down. By far, if this app was never created maybe our campus would actually talk and learn communication skills instead of staring at a screen making us act like middle schoolers that weren’t raised right. adding on, we cannot even post news about the school or school events or names without it it getting taken down but people post nudes and who is the hottest and has the best body and can cuss eachother out and there is no problem. i will not be emailing anyone. at the end of the day this app only allows bullying, child p0rn0graphy, and turns students against eachother instead of us coming together and facing real problems..Baleigh_yahVersion: 1.13.150
Fun for school socials, but moderation and fairness issuesFizz is genuinely fun for the social side of school life – connecting with friends, seeing what’s happening on campus, and the overall vibe can be pretty engaging. The upvote system works well in theory and helps surface popular content.
However, the moderation feels heavily biased. Posts that lean one political direction (especially conservative viewpoints) often get removed quickly for “violating community guidelines,” while similar content from the other side stays up. It doesn’t come across as neutral or consistent. On top of that, certain posts seem to get artificially boosted while others with similar engagement sit completely idle. For an app that positions itself as a campus community space, this lack of fairness and free speech really hurts the experience.
Would love to see more transparent, even-handed moderation so it can actually live up to its potential. Right now, the bias holds it back..RenoXnevadaVersion: 1.37.1
Lack of moderationFizz is fun and everything until you factor in the fact that it’s full of young adults that know no boundaries. Moderation is lacking and sometimes the mods flag things that don’t even violate guidelines but they’ll let racist, sexist, or even posts threatening violence go. I tried to let it go but it turned into a cesspool really fast. It promotes a mob mentality and another status quo that people, especially college students, love. However, just because they love it doesn’t mean it’s good. Bullying is very prevalent, inciting violence is also prevalent. There were posts promoting mowing protesters down, doxxing was promoted, and more. This is a social app that allows people to put others down for the simplest things and no one is watching and no one cares.
Edit: I have been told to nerf myself, sexually harassed, and had someone tell me that I’m to blame for a death in the family. Somehow I’m the one who got reported for that last one. 25 times. Sick..C.T.323Version: 1.14.21
Harsh PunishmentsI just got muted for the second week in a row because people want to abuse the moderation system. I just got muted AGAIN for absolutely no reason! An anonymous person made a post that said “does anybody want some head this morning” and I JOKINGLY SAID “did you brush your teeth yet?” And I just got muted for ANOTHER WEEK after being unmuted from a the PAST week!! And you guys never responded after telling me to send you guys an email. And the reason why my post was got removed doesn’t even correlate to what was said!!! The report system is being ABUSED. This is getting ridiculous.
Update: I just deleted fizz because I keep getting banned every other day for absolutely nothing. I feel like I’m being targeted by the developers and walking on eggshells making posts because I don’t know what’s gonna get me banned for a week and what’s not. It’s overkill at this point..TotallyQuotable😍Version: 1.13.114
Terrible performanceI’d give negative points if possible for the deplorable use of AI to “auto detect breach of ToS”.
The app could be so cool and useful if it weren’t for the fact that every little thing triggers the AI to suspending and muting my account. Mention the President of my schools last name informing others of how he’s financially crippling the school in a cordial manner? I’m putting “personal info” out there that could hurt him. Tell people he’s using campus resources for selfish projects that benefit no one but him when the schools struggling financially? I’m silenced because I put him in jeopardy. Say me and someone were sucking toes, I’m apparently harassing people.
Your app is a dud, stop using AI to skim comments because it keeps giving false readings of what’s an actual offense and what’s legitimate content. I’ve gotten my comments and posts removed 5-10 times (whatever leads to a 24 hour mute) and each of them is because of a false reading..FmoszhjurcbnmxfooVersion: 1.13.68
PSA:Do not get this app! I got it about a month ago, and it was already starting to negatively affect my mental health. The anonymity removes any consequence for what is posted; I have seen people take others photos without permission and post things that are clearly not permitted according to the app’s community guidelines. They claim to have regulations but frankly I don’t see those being enforced nearly enough for the app to be safe. It makes me feel paranoid that someone will take a photo of me without permission and post it if I do anything to stand out. I was way better off not knowing that students at my school were so toxic, and it’s hard for me to trust anyone I don’t already know. It honestly makes me wonder if they just made an extra step that says not to post inappropriate content but didn’t pay to have anyone moderate anything. For this app to be safe, the regulations it claims to have need to be enforced!!!.Bekah965Version: 1.13.98
TerribleSo I was hired as a mod for Fizz a few weeks ago, did an interview, signed the contract and everything with one of the higher ups, attended one of the training sessions which were from 9-11pm on Friday night, admittedly couldn’t stay for the entire session, left after 30-40 minutes, and then the morning of the day of the launch I was secretly removed from my role with no context and told I was no longer a moderator. When I asked why I fired, they told me it was because I didn’t stay the full session last Friday night? There was no warning that you would be fired if you could not stay the full session, or how long the session would be for. I just don’t understand. I stayed for a good majority of the session and even have the notes and slides on how to be a mod. This organization is run by a bunch of greedy cowards..ScjkscvjtedvVersion: 1.12.7
This app has a serious moderation and safety issue that needs immediate attention. This app has a serious and ongoing safety failure. An anonymous user is repeatedly posting an identifiable individual’s name and personal photos without consent in a targeted and harassing way. Multiple posts have been reported and removed, yet the same behavior continues, showing a clear failure to enforce basic moderation policies against repeat offenders.
This is not harmless anonymous content it is the unauthorized use of someone’s image and sustained harassment of a real person. There is also no effective support system, as listed contact channels are unresponsive or nonfunctional.
If this is how serious safety issues are handled, users should be aware that the platform does not adequately protect individuals from harassment or misuse of personal information..University Student124Version: 1.32.0
Fake/ai generated contentWhen launching at my school, the administration is obviously using fake engagement to boost the app. Everything from fake likes (over 300 in 1 hour from an app that no one has) to fake posts that are just verge college memes with the school name thrown into it. I was genuinely excited to see something like YikYak without all the things that I hate about YikYak, but for some god awful reason we need to be propping up our dead anonymous app with instagram screenshots of girls who go to the school with captions “she’s so fine” or names of people I know with a “crush” flare next to it. All with over 100 likes despite the fact that no one at my school would like that stuff.
TLDR: this app is dead internet theory out in full force. Save your time, don’t even entertain it in its current state..BigMac027Version: 1.13.105
AwfulThis is the worst app I have ever come across. Blatant bullying, harmful, inappropriate, unsolicited photos of young kids, and hateful words being said about kids. This app is marketed towards young adults in college and is creating pain, drama, and creates rumors that are either extremely harmful to the victim or simply just false. The reporting feature on the app has a button that allows you to try to take down these awful posts… but they still stay up no matter what the post is. This anonymous app is just another resource for cyber bullying and an extremely harmful one. I would seriously advice this app being taken down or remodeled because it has taken a tole on the lives of many young adults’ mental health and well being..Janice)&$Version: 1.12.7
It needs moderation or somethingGive hormonal college students the ability to post anonymous seemingly unmoderated posts about anything they’d like, what do you think will happen. Most posts are overly sexual, people trying to find drugs, and as one of the other reviews stated, the app seems prone to inadvertently support bullying. There is a good chunk people seemingly genuinely interested in the app, sharing information about misc topics or sharing memes. I was impressed with how effective their launch was and the amount of users they got using the app. I think this app has a lot of promise but in its current state I find the app a little disgusting, nothing to do with the devs or the team, just a matter of how it’s users are currently using the app..NX22222Version: 1.13.23
Love the app hate the people that use it.I generally don’t know what people’s problems are on this app. But all they do is put other students down and post disrespectful things about people. Moderation does nothing, so it never stops. I think the creation of this app was a great idea, but the users make it terrible. You could ask a simple question to get bullied. People will constantly accuse you of being a white person because you didn’t agree with something they said. And the app is low-key like Twitter. The only thing that moderation is good of getting rid of is any explicit photos or videos. Love the app but hate the people on it..NiniwashereeVersion: 1.17.0

That would’ve been the end of it, but they kept emailing me to ask me to finish the sign up process. I am not interested in sharing my personal info on this lesser form of a social media site. Can’t you take a hint? If I don’t want to share my personal name and other info I don’t want to use your service. Another ruined appThe app was first for HBCUS to communicate, then they let other people from PWI’s join. That was cool but to open it up to and everybody the way it is now?? Then adding locations on it??Defeats the purpose of the app: to connect college students. Its now like twitter even has people posting nudes on there but when I speak about my professor and class experience its taken down for “spam” or just for saying their name. Its dumb and seems like the app creators think they are updating it to be what everybody wants but its not. Its just like every other app and doesn’t have the exclusivity it used to..Kamurr19Version: 1.15.13
Bullying and misinformation galoreDon’t use this app, all people do is bully and mock students by taking photos of them/their belongings without their consent. This happened to my sibling who used to go to Samford. Someone took a photo of him and typed out a bunch of misinformation about him that was just so blatantly false and it somehow got a bunch of upvotes, which I assume is all ai. These people need to be held accountable for their lies and bullying, get rid of the whole “Anonymous” name feature to your app and hopefully it will die down a bit. Only a coward would take pleasure in bullying others and spreading misinformation behind the name “Anonymous”..ThatonequietgurlVersion: 1.13.85
Terrible app unfettered bullyingAnonymous postings are rife for bullying and bullying is what happened to my family member. Don't take my word for it, read the article in The Wall Street Journal titled An Anonymous Messaging App Upended this High School. And even though our high school is not the one referred to in the article, Fizz app also upended our high school in just one week.
This app allows anyone to say anything about you, and the posts can be vicious. Kids don't know who to trust - is it one of their friends or "enemies" that are posting about them using pictures stolen from the victim's own social media - all used and reposted without permission. Then to add insult to injury, the app allows voting on these hateful, bullying posts.
How is this anonymous bullying allowed on an app meant to create "community building and connection"? Well, because the app creators rely on other high school kids to moderate the posts and these underage, unpaid moderators must reach a unanimous vote among themselves to remove any suspect posting.
The ex Stanford creators Teddy Solomon and Ashton Cofer say anonymity is key to more authenticity on Social Media so people can feel comfortable with being vulnerable. Vulnerable is an accurate description because kids are cruel and when there is no accountability for the harm they create, then vulnerable is exactly what the victims are - completely exposed to whatever lies and hate these bullies can dream up.
This app may (and I stress 'may') be okay on a college campus, but it most definitely should not be allowed to target our high school youth who already worry about fitting in and are struggling with mental health in numbers never seen before - even called a national emergency in mental health per the American Academy of Pediatrics, American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, and Children's Hospital Association in 2021.
Do not download this app. And good luck to all that have. I hope you don't become another victim..Michelle zzzzz999Version: 1.13.85
Blatantly full of botsAfter a disastrous launch where basically no one joined the app, the posts fell off entirely after about a month. Around a month before my college’s fall quarter, when other colleges started their fall quarters, there was a huge influx of posts talking about being in class and calling the college by the wrong name. The obvious bots never repost or reply, and posts started getting hundreds of upvotes after a summer of maybe 10 max. The developers clearly use bots to make their app seem more alive, and it ruins the point of this app..TrayourasVersion: 1.13.106
Promotes bullyingThis app is absolutely awful and promotes both bullying and harassment. My information has gotten doxxed on this app multiple times and I had to involve law enforcement. Their "Mods" don't do anything but take down the post after it already has over 200 upvotes. All while not banning the account that does the harm. They should be ashamed and removed off of the app store immediately. I am currently working on their partnership with my school to get revoked because of the harm it's caused to other students I know. It's absolutely disgusting..Macherie716Version: 1.24.0
Fizz: a negative social impactThe idea behind fizz is very simple and easy. Keep a community together so we can solve issues, and sometimes it works. However, most often fizz becomes a platform for horrible, vile behavior. (For example, it often results on out students saying racist things.) The moderators also remove anything they deem even a little bit fun… which makes fizz an even worse experience lol. Fizz has a bad balance between what is useless and what is helpful. Bad app or bad ppl? the world may never know 💛.Jacquelinebecerra101Version: 1.13.154
New update :/You now can’t turn off the OP button when commenting on your own post, and you can only post under one name. For example, I run a student organization that has a handle, and if I comment on one post using it, I can’t then comment as an anonymous user — so I’m stuck replying formally as my organization and unable to comment as myself informally. This update is awful for student organizations and makes anonymity worse, and isn’t that the whole point of the app, even if they meed your email to sign up?.All Names Are Taken ⭐️Version: 1.13.32
ModeratorsModerator bias is a real issue. I’ve made harmless comments on posts that are clearly spreading hate, some get upvoted, others downvoted, and while I understand not everything should be removed, the ones with heavy downvotes (four or more) often stay up, especially when the hate is directed toward men. I’ve reported blatant hate comments against men that never get taken down, yet if I respond to those posts to call it out, my comment is removed almost instantly. It’s honestly frustrating and discouraging..Ghnckjn vjdmdmfjjcnfnxkxkn CNNVersion: 1.14.36
Location shown on anon app??So this app was never “good” it started off woth bullying racism and homophobia..I will gove it its props because i’m sure its helped people connect within theor school and talk to a variety of people..NOW suddenly we have locations connected to our “usernames”??? this app is anonymous..but we have towns AND state? thats not good. I’m deleting my account its definitely unfair to people who live in small towns which makes them easily identifiable..the first thing we learn for social media is “don’t reveal your location “.KAYLAREADYMVersion: 1.14.3
