These articles are so interesting and well written. I am a READER…I love to read and I love to learn. And still, these bite size articles give me something that has been unattainable to me since I was in primary school. They almost give that passage you have to scan on the yearly standardized tests to answer multiple choice questions, but without the pressure, in style and length. AND the info it’s giving is full manuscript with all the fat cut out (or only the fat, I love the juicy fat) for a quick read. Want to wow your trivia team? Want to know a little about everything? Looking for a spark to love life again and feel less doomed here on Earth?!?!? (No, really!) It’s reigniting my love for learning at the base level, and giving me comfort about the nature of humanity on a deeper level (like, why did I just cry reading an article about the printing press?!?!?). This Earth is amazing, humans are actually so neat, history is so vast and interesting, thanks for the reminder Nerdish.
Now I could spend this entire review just telling you how I think it’s so cool but I’m gonna tell you my favorite saying that really works with this app if you’re tired of the same old thing then stop doing the same old thing. This app really showed me new things and it didn’t keep me held back on the same topic because I didn’t get it absolutely perfect. It makes sure that you remember things the definition of insanity is to repeatedly do the same thing and expect a different outcome so stop doing the same thing and try something new.
This is a great idea - spending 10 minutes or so learning some interesting new things is a better way to start the morning than scrolling through social media! The editing is lacking for a lot of articles though, and I don’t know how many writers you have, but some of them are not good - amateurish writing, poor grammar, etc. I realize it has to be a lot of work putting out new content daily, but I’d just as soon work my way through the existing articles and wait for better written material. But overall, the material is very interesting, and I learn a little something new every day! Suggestion: add a “needs proofreading“ button.
Topics and knowledge in bite size pieces that give one insight they may or may not have been exposed to previously. If your seeing a lot of familiar topics and nothing new is stimulating your quest for knowledge there is hope in Nerdish as one can give feedback at the end of the bite size reading topic to guide the topics and skill level Nerdish is suggesting for your reading topics. There is so much to choose from suggested daily and alternating each time one opens the app. Try it you might learn something and if nothing else you’ll learn how to delete an app.
This app is super cool, I wanted something to just kinda give me random things to read about and this was the app. You have access to all the articles even if you don't have the premium although you do have to watch an ad to read it but I consider that a small price to pay to be able to literally read any article you want on the app. I highly recommend this app to anyone and everyone!

I love this app, I am constantly learning new things every day and it has a wide variety of topics to choose from. However, a feature that I believe would better this app is adding comprehension questions after you are finished reading your article. Overall, though, this app has been amazing otherwise and I can’t wait to see how it advances in the future!
I've started using Nerdish just a couple of days ago, and I'm already excited about all the things I'll be able to discover about the world and myself. The narrative is amazingly designed, and I really love the flow and how the app's authors explain things. Will totally recommend the app to my friends!
I like that you can watch ads to continue reading the paid articals instead of getting a subscription!! Thank you for making this app work for broke people lol!
I love this app! It has a range of topics which may include your interests, and the topics are divided into sections. This makes it more organized and easier to follow. I just wish this had an audio feature so I could listen anywhere and an option to bookmark certain quotes and things that stuck out to me.
I got a random ad for this app. I often frequent Wikipedia random articles to just learn random Things but sometimes that’s not ideal. This app is just the perfect thing to help keep me abreast or random albeit useful topics!
Do you have EXACTLY 1 .33 minutes to spare? # Read a “FREE” Nerdish topic. Turn a left turn instead of a right? # Read a “FREE” Nerdish topic. Need a kiss from your sweetie? Go find him or her OR read about the history of ketchup in Nerdish.
I really enjoy coming on everyday and learning new things. I love to know a little bit of everything and this is great for that just got to bear through some ads <3
Upon reading my first passage on nerdish, I can confirm that these articles are filled with fun, factual information that is easy to comprehend. I can not wait to read more and more everyday! Awesome app!
As I’m getting older realizing the importance of learning new things. This app gives an simple interesting read. I definitely learned something new!
Awesome app to substitute for social media. Why not learn something with that time you waste on SM death scrolling. I don’t ever review apps but this one is definitely worth it!
I’m pleasantly surprised. My ADHD makes it difficult for me to focus sometimes but I feel like this app is helping me fall in love with learning again. Thank you!
This is genuinely such a good app. there’s such a wide variety of topics to read about and its formatted in a way that makes it so easy and enjoyable to read. get this app RN girl.
Topics I wouldn’t usually go out of my way to read about are here on my app. Love it!
Overall, I like the topics given to me. I do wish there were less ads (not that theres too much) and a search area
Like the short informative articles a lot!
This is such a good productivity app! I love it so much! It’s so phenomenal! It helped me be a class topper and also presentable! I’m glad!
Its an amazing app and im always looking for little things to learn the only thing i will say though is that the topics are limited as of now, i dont have the premium version so im not sure if theres more but if so i feel like there should be more on the free version aswell
The app is really good. It’s simple and interactive but I can’t search for anything which is a bummer.
I love reading but I don’t have so much time. , so is nice to have different topics to read e verday.
Great app with very interesting topics. The only issue is that i can’t select a word to look up its definition.
I finally have a quality phone I can use thanks for the great App.
Nerdish is Very Interesting, and Stimulating my thoughts, and My Wishes to Learn by Studing topics further through my own Research!!!!!
Kept my attention. Yet it was succinct and on point. I’d like to visit one day.
Knowledge is power.
An amazing instrument for a person aiming to constantly get knowledge and grow

Nerdish: Learn Something New Negative Reviews and Ratings
This app is great for some topics I’ll give it that, but as someone who’s taken many courses on various subjects, some things are simply incorrect. For instance, I was reading one subject they had called “What did our ancestors eat?” And not only did they use the standard image of evolution (which has been proven to not be accurate at all) but they also stated that women mostly gathered and men hunted (while still gathering). While this is a very common misconception, it was actually very 50 50 on who hunted and who gathered. In fact, the reason why we were lead to believe this was because of archeologists back in I believe the 1900’s, who had such sexist ideals they simply imagined that it was the women who gathered and do all of the meal preparations while the men went out and hunted for meat. This has since been proven to be incorrect. Anyways, my point is that this app needs to get its facts straight. There’s still a great deal to learn from it, but you should have some aloud in each subject in order to see what’s true or not.
I like this app, a lot! But I want to ask the Developers two things: 1) How often do you plan your add more content? Currently, I count less than 150 articles spread across 8 different categories. I probably would read 3 articles a day, which would mean I would have nothing new to look at in less than 2 months. Even if I only read 1 article a day, I still would finish this app in less than half a year. Why should I subscribe annually?? 2) Obviously you can charge whatever you want for a subscription, but I feel $40 annually is too high, especially when one starts to look at other apps in this category. I would like to see you offer a one time purchase price instead of a subscription. I would probably pay a one time fee of $40, if I had an assurance of content to be continually added for some time. Just my 2¢ Again, I do like this app. Please consider adding a one time purchase option, and comment on adding more content. Thank you! 🥂
I’m literally looking for something that I can open everyday and learn something new. I thought it app was it. And it might still be. But, my first 3 minutes in the app, I was abruptly stopped by an add. Which is fine, I haven’t paid the subscription, I get it. However, the add was four minutes long and then it wouldn’t let me get back to the reading! No matter what I did, even when I closed the app and tried to go back into it, the add was waiting for me. I’m not sure if it it’s the app, or my phone, but I’m not having this issue with any other app. If I do have to watch adds, that fine, but I at least want to be able to get back to the content I was reading before.
Most of the articles I read had grammar or spelling errors. They all needed an extra round of proofreading. There was a thumbs up and thumbs down at the end to rate articles, but no way to say “this contains an error” that I could see. After a few days, the poor writing caused me to cancel.
I do like the app and find most of the articles informative. However there are quite a few typos and mistakes in the articles. It’s a bit hard for me to be confident with the material after seeing many inaccurate information in them.
After having the app for a month, some type of update came through and logged me out of the app. Tried a couple times to reset the password by sending the connected email a reset link, didn’t get anything… didn’t have any other venue to reset, so I just canceled subscription.
There’s some good information here, but the improper English usage makes it a chore to read. Punctuation, typos, and sentence structure mishaps run rampant throughout this app. I’d recommend to them that they hire an editor to iron out these wrinkles. Again, it’s not a bad app, but the quality of writing needs some work.
Half hearted research and half hearted writing. It’s as if there’s only one person writing all of these articles and they’re writing just for a hobby. If it were free or 99¢ it may be decent, but not worth 5 bucks a month. Save your money. You’re better off doing you’re own research and reading FREE articles online.
Some of the paragraphs don’t fully display and end with an ellipsis. There seems to be no way to expand the paragraph, so all the reader gets is an incomplete thought. There is no way to contact support.
This app could be better if you could look for a certain topic and not just look for it
You get a bit of information and then they want you to buy more. Too many ads.
I’m always asked to subscribe but the ads and lack of content I want to read isn’t worth it.
Though I liked this app at first when I further reviewed some of the information it was either skewed or false. Also I have gone through a lot of the content in way less than a year. Wish I could get a refund.
People who want every arbitrary subject to become politicized or have a certain political perspective injected into every conceivable issue will love this app. People who are tired of constant and incessant politicization of everything will just delete it in disgust. I am of the latter but took the time to leave a review.
When I open the app it says Read ! Learn ! And Grow! But it won’t let me click anything and the app doesn’t respond to anything. I have delete and redownloaded multiple times it is still frozen!
Title says it all. Origin of wine? Great topic. But here is a sentence from the first paragraph: “But why do we love it as much as ancient Romans did and still fret over the merits of overpriced Bordeaux for thousands of years?”
Few topics are liberal leaning. Not sure about research done on non-political topics but the research done on gender and sex had a few blatantly proven wrong data points that the left loves to use.
I just paid for a subscription and read a few articles and have already come across several typos, grammar and spelling mistakes. In one article, a page was cut off mid-sentence! This is unacceptable in my opinion considering the price you pay for a subscription.
I read 90% of the articles in a day. Sourcing for the articles would also be extremely helpful.
