Pokémon Sleep App Comments & Reviews

Pokémon Sleep Positive Reviews

Almost perfectI really have been enjoying using this app. There are a couple things I would like it to do that would make it even better. The first should be pretty easy: have the app categorized under Health & Fitness rather than Games. Most people interested in this app are going to have a crowded Games selection and little under Health & Fitness, so moving the app will make it much quicker to find and use. The second thing I would like is probably more difficult. If possible, I would like it if the app could report sleep data to the iPhone Health app. It’s the only sleep tracker I used prior to Pokémon Sleep, and because of how it keeps the phone active my Health app doesn’t think I sleep at all anymore. The last issue I have is with the day rollover. While I am not having trouble with it now, I was a couple weeks ago during some hard nights. I would go to bed in the early morning rather than closer to midnight, and the game would count my sleep from the wrong day. Sometimes problems arise and people go to bed much later than they want to. I would suggest having the day changeover based off the individual’s assigned bedtime (maybe 3-4 hours prior) rather than whatever arbitrary time it is currently set for. This would make most naps or disorganized sleep times count towards the sleep schedule of your previous bedtime rather the upcoming one, and would overall improve enjoyment for people who have sleep problems..Version: 1.0.6

The BEST GAME i have ever played!!I have genuinely never written a review for a game before.. that is how much this game has impacted my daily life. If you are thinking about getting Pokémon Sleep, definitely give it a try!! From the adorable art style, the joy I get when it’s time to feed my snorlax, to how much this game has motivated me to have a better sleep schedule (which I have struggled with for years), the game is perfect in all aspects to me. It is such a slow paced game in a way that makes it attractive to pick up every once in a while and it really is free to play unless you are genuinely a hardcore Pokémon Sleep gamer but I have not had it get in the way of ANY gameplay which is great! Also, no ads!! I am not missing out on any of the features and it’s truly a very fun and rewarding game especially when you unlock new areas to explore!! It’s a game that you can check in on once in a while and it will give you joy whenever you play. It motivates you to sleep in a cute and fun way! Seeing my sleep progress all laid out within the past month has been very rewarding. As well as my growing Pokédex collection!! I cannot stress how much joy this game has given me so I strongly recommend it!! If the creators are happening to read this… psst! I would LOVE to be able to befriend my favorite Pokémon, Dialga one day!! Thank you so much for your time and I hope I could’ve convinced anybody who was thinking about downloading Pokémon Sleep! :) -Titi.Version: 1.1.0

Pop-Up HavenLove the idea of this game being a quick lil mission three times a day. I do play this game almost exactly how intended, but I am slowly feeling more averse due to the ridiculous amount of pop-ups and slow menuing. I wake up in the morning to cash in on my research, I want this to be quick so I can get started with my day. There are 4 main tasks that NEED to be done for optimal play at this time: take pictures, feed biscuits, collect berries and feed Snorlax. It took me 6 minutes to do these things as fast as possible one morning. There are no physical mechanics to this game, all you ever do is make decisions and click the corresponding buttons. I’ve been playing this game for close to three months now so all the decisions I do need to make for this game are basically pre determined. A seasoned player who knows the core mechanics of this game does NOT need to sit through the progress pop-ups this game elicits when doing ANYTHING. I have two ideas for settings that would remedy my frustration: 1. A setting that would increase animation/pop-up speed (e.g. x1, x2, x4, x8 [possibly even x16!?]). 2. Add functionality on tap that will entirely skip whatever progress bar is being increased. P.S. This lack of speed is similarly noticeable in the menuing (i.e. going to your pokemon box, sleep point shop or friends’ research). None of these tasks should take over what feels like a second to accomplish..Version: 1.9.0

Fun but buggyIt’s a fun daily game that can be low maintenance, but it can also be really slow and buggy for what it’s worth. They don’t have a report a bug feature in the app so I’m just going to complain here. My biggest issue with the app is how slow the popups are. Every time you level up Snorlax you have to hit Ok 3 different times before you can resume playing/collecting ingredients/sleeping/etc. and it takes at least 15 seconds between each button, which can be a serious pain if you’re trying to play while you’re in a rush (like at work or right before bed). In fact I’ve lost sleep data due to that feature several times when I’m trying to start recording my sleep data. If Snorlax levels up before starting to record sleep data, the pop up will appear instead of sleep mode. If you put your phone down before the pop up appears and assume sleep mode is starting, you might miss a full nights worth of sleep data (like I have multiple times) which results in your Pokémon being too tired to function the next day and no chance to catch new Pokémon. Please fix this issue to make the game faster and more enjoyable. I don’t always have 10 minutes to watch Snorlax level up from basic 3 to great 2 especially if I’m trying to go to bed. Other things about this game straight up do not make sense either. Why is the theme blue if blue light is specifically proven to inhibit quality of sleep, for example? Make it make sense Pokémon..Version: 1.3.0

Keep turning it off in middle of the nightI love the app it’s really cute and I love the inclusion of more than just gen 1 Pokémon I’m so happy to see more diversity in the options and not to mention the professor is adorable and so is the whole art style of the game and I like that there is some stuff you can participate in while awake too that’s a nice touch and it’s a great app defenitly but I do have some complaints Since you can’t turn your phone off while using it that means that the app will turn rgjjt back on if you tap the screen and you also need to have in on your mattress next to you to work so the issue I’ve been having is that I the middle of the night I will accidentally press the screen in my sleep and that will turn off the app and end the tracking resulting in inaccurate sleep results and I’ve also tried setting an alarm with it but because I accidentally turned it off at 2:00 am in my sleep the alarm didn’t go off and I woke up late so my mom had to get me up but I could see this being a problem in the future a single thing such as you have to hold the screen for 3 seconds to end the sleep tracking or just you can turn your phone off while it tracks woild easily solve this problem and I sincerely hope they do fix it so i can get accurate results and the alarm to actually work..Version: 1.0.4

Cute Game But Minor BugsI REALLY love this game! I’ve been playing it for almost 2 weeks now and I love the feeling of waking up to see what Pokémon I have found hoping there’s a shiny one. My phone never overheats and neither does my charger thanks to the game dimming the screen or basically putting it in some kind of sleep mode. I’ve see reviews on phones overheating but we move in our sleep so you may have slept on it. Anyways, I do find it nice that there is a game that can track your sleep without paying like certain apps and I can get some feedback and some funny little recordings here and there. With the actual game though, if you take a nap and then go to bed that same day, it will not let you at all because you’ve already slept. I would love to where it let you take naps and also sleep at the same time. But also, I’ve only encountered this once but there was one time I slept from 11pm-10am and when I went to go review my data, it said there was nothing to be reviewed and I lost all that data and Pokemon I could’ve possibly encountered. But it has only happened once. If it occurs more than 3 times, I’m giving my rating a four star. But if you’re reading this please fix the sleep only once a day feature. It can make more people play during the day when taking naps and instead of just playing it at night..Version: 1.0.5

Very cute but some issuesI have been a Pokémon fan for as long as I can remember so of course when I saw there was a free app I could get I wanted to. I really enjoy this app overall, I think the different sleep types are super cute and I enjoy collecting berries and trying to get my food the extra tasty rating. But… I have been having issues as well. I’ve been using this app for about four weeks now and for some reason every single time I sleep the tracking stops at 6 hours and 2 minutes no matter how long I actually slept. There was one night I slept for 10 hours straight and was excited to have met my goal but then when I check on the app it had 6 hours of sleep and 4 hours of untracked time. I tried to go in and edit the sleep tracking to let it know I was in fact asleep but it wouldn’t allow me to change it. I’m not really sure what is causing this to happen, I don’t go to sleep at the same time every night so it’s not like my building is making weird noises and I also sometimes stay up after I set the tracker so it’s not like I naturally make a weird noise in my sleep exactly 6 hours into sleeping. Overall this isn’t much of an issue and doesn’t really impact the game much but it’s a bit annoying that I can’t change it and therefore will sometimes have 2-4 hours of untracked time every night..Version: 1.0.9

Poor Decisions and Odd FeaturesFirst off, the game will just decide to disable your microphone access with no way to re-enable it in settings. Believe me, I tried, and after being up until 1:00 AM just trying to figure the stupid thing out, I ended up deleting the stupid app and redownloading it, only for it to delete all my data because some numbskull decided not to put a microphone enabling setting in the settings app. The worst part is that the game worked fine for four straight days before this randomly happened with no warning. Another bigger issue I have, aside from the general gameplay being fairly boring, is that this game made to be your sleep companion has absolutely zero issue with flashbanging you with a pure white loading screen whenever it’s necessary. Why? Heck if I know. In fact, bright lights like that are scientifically proven to WORSEN your sleep by making it more difficult to fall asleep after seeing those lights. You would think this wouldn’t be an issue with the app, given that it’s a sleep based app. However, no. This happens multiple times per sign-in, and you will have this display before bed every night you choose to use it. On top of that, if you sleep on a small bed, good luck finding a place to put your phone..Version: 1.0.5

I love Pokemon SleepOverall, the Pokemon Company has done a great job with the marketing and side project aspect of the business for a long time now. Unfortunately, GameFreak has fumbled the classic Pokemon titles with recent games like Scarlet and Violet. They have lost the allure that every Pokemon game has had since when I was a kid. Although, the last game that I felt had this same feeling was Legends Arceus. Just something about that game made me happy and excited to create a team of Pokemon. Pokemon Sleep is the first game in awhile from the company that has made me feel the same way. I love tracking my sleep and find it actually helps me to make sure that I am taking care of myself when I push too hard. I have taken some breaks but with the additions of new Pokemon, campsites, and events...I am fully invested. The grind is something I greatly enjoyed from earlier Pokemon titles I played as a kid. This game definitely has that and it has taken me since the release date to get some final evolutions for Pokemon I've had for months. The gameplay is so simple, the art style is gorgeous, and the game itself is a calming experience. If you can be disciplined enough to keep up with tracking your sleep every night with your phone plugged in, you will love this title. Please add Abra :).Version: 1.2.0

Cute game, improve the Sleep featuresLove the Pokémon! 1- Dim the screen! Use darker colors so you don’t ruin users eyes first thing in the morning. Also, make sure that the screen goes dark every single time a user is tracking sleep. I have had many many nights where my screen stayed lit all night while tracking sleep. Not good for my phone nor for my sleep. 2- Make stats more transparent after sleep. Oddly, there’s a pop up screen to tell you how much XP your Pokemon team has contributed to Snorlax while away or sleep, but nothing to tell you how much sleep XP your individual Pokémon gained. There’s a quick animation that shows a level bar increasing which is covered by a pop up screen! You can’t even see that! Be more transparent and don’t block features with other features. 3- You know the sleep tracker is not accurate most nights. Devs know this and users know this. Make it possible to adjust the sleep times. No one loses anything in this adjustment, even if people are honest or not, let us adjust! It is the worst thing ever to actually begin sleeping on time and for good hours with good intentions and utilizing what we learned from the app, just for the app to not register two or three hours of our sleep..Version: 1.0.11

Needs More FeaturesI like it overall but requires you to remember to set things up before you sleep. Also another issue is not everyone has a standard of appropriate sleep so it’s kinda hard to advance in the game if you have disrupted sleeping, not needing the average sleep hours or just other sleeping patterns, habits and or disorders, that just make it hard to advance. In order for some features it requires you to use a device sold separately which tends to end up under me and I never get appropriate data for so many reasons. I’m not sure if you can track sleep by using your phone near you I question fire safety with that. But overall I really wished it had interventions with health apps such as the apple & google health apps which have other sleep data collection ect. It be nice to have sleep data to be both added and taken from these services to help the app. As often times I have my watch on when I’m asleep collecting data hands free and effortlessly it be a added bonus to have that data be used as well in the events I forget to set up the required sleep collection method. Overall it’s fun for a bit and the Pokémon go integration is a bonus and a bit more incentive, but the app gets old and boring even with the events. Work on the sleep collection and the app would vastly improve..Version: 1.0.15

Please add Failinks to the game! You added Failinks to Pokémon unite, so do it again in Pokémon sleep, and give it a unique ability, like sometimes it will get what ever material you want but it will have 20% less berries/ingredients. Like sending a trooper on a mission and the brass focuses on the usual stuff. Each time the ability activates, you get a mission charge, which can be used from said search. Also please make us so that the brass and five troopers are walking around like separate troopers and make all of them deposits what they find individually. A least add them, they are my favorite Pokémon. Just an idea so please read this, I think a lot of people would really like this. The sleep styles are all up to you. But if you need an idea, try something like duodrios lookout sleep where the brass is protecting the troops by staying up to keep them safe. Please read this and add Failinks such a cool fighting type. I see no reason why Failinks (aka my dude) should be only in a combat game, and not a sleep game because they are cute fighting types as well. With all reasons said, please consider my idea. (And maybe if you think it’s good then send me a Failinks incense and a master biscuit when the coding is done😉.)Love your app bye..Version: 1.6.0

Nice Sleep Tracker! With a few minor problems…This is on it’s way to becoming the next popular Pokémon game, but they’re are some minor things I want to point out. First, the app doesn’t work without internet, but you can turn off the internet after starting your sleep session, and turn it off before ending your sleep session if your worried about that. When you are on a vacation is somewhere with no signal for more than 30 hours, than you can’t track your sleep. A positive thing to point out is that if you forgot to track your sleep data for one night, then you have 30 hours to recover your sleep data. Second of all, if you forgot to plug in your phone at night, then the app uses lots of battery. A lot of sleep apps that I know of only uses 30% battery at night, while this app might use that in an hour! If you charge your phone at night, though, then you’ll be fine. Thirdly, the premium subscription is way too expensive, so think about whether you need it or not before buying it. Finally, on the App Store, this says that this is a simulation game, but this is actually a health and fitness game. I would recommend changing the category to that on the App Store. Pokémon sleep is still a great app to use though, if your fine with all of the stuff that I mentioned!.Version: 1.0.11

Decent game, could use improvementI’ve had Pokémon sleep for a month now, I enjoy the game/sleep tracker but there are a few things they could improve on to make it better. The shop limits for regular 1 point poke biscuits is ridiculous, we should be able to buy whatever we need if we have the points for it. I’m constantly running out, I guess I just like to collect everything. Secondly the premium pass doesn’t offer enough benefits to justify the cost. The good camp set is awesome but we only get one with the premium pass? We should be getting 2 at the very least, more is always awesome. Prices for purchasing diamonds is the highest I have ever seen across all of the Pokémon apps, I’ve spent quite a bit on Pokémon Go but the prices on Pokémon sleep are too high for far too little diamonds to justify buying any. Also it would be truly amazing if we had more poke biscuits given as rewards. Another feature that would be nice to have would be for tired Pokémon that aren’t being used often to regenerate energy while they are in the box. I hate seeing so many sad little Pokémon’s but I don’t have the means to make all of them happy without ruining my progress for the week..Version: 1.0.6

Great Idea Poor ExecutionI’ve been playing this game for about a month now and I think it’s a great game, it does its job of trying to get me to get more sleep. The main issue I see with this game is the feeding and collection of resources, right before you go to bed if you want to upgrade your snorlax to get better sleeping pokémon when you wake up you have to spend fiveish minutes clicking on stuff and making snorlax food. This is a great feature and all except when i’m about to go to sleep i’m very tired which makes doing this section of the game very demotivating and feel like a chore, the pokémon all have animations you have to wait for, usually your bag is full so you have to go make snorlax food and then continue picking up resources, it’s just altogether very boring. Another issue i’ve found is the time it takes to evolve and level up your helper pokémon. As I mentioned before, i’ve been playing for about a month, so far i’ve evolved one pokémon which was my totodile to a croconaw, this took me three weeks to do and ontop of that i used all of my rare candy items i received from quests on him. The process is very slow and parts of the game feels like a chore when i just want to go to sleep and hopefully find a shiny pokémon the next day..Version: 1.0.6

More of a fun game than a sleep trackerAt first, I thought it was a silly game. I thought it was a little weird that it can track your sleep with just your phones microphone. It tracks your “sleep” and it gives you something fun when you wake up to look at in the morning. I don’t think the sleep tracking is accurate, but it doesn’t need to be. It gets what it needs, which is when you actually fall asleep and it kind of listens to you to see if you’re snoring or moving around but these kind of differences doesn’t really change the components of the game. This is definitely more of a game than a sleep tracker and the game is actually pretty fun to get into. There are a lot of menus and options in the game so in the beginning it was a little confusing to understand how to navigate & use the game. After about a week and a half of using the game I actually really enjoy it. Going to sleep is a little more exciting and getting the full eight hours for the game and waking up to some new content is pretty nice. I wonder how long this will be addicting for but right now I absolutely love it and I’ve been using it every single night..Version: 1.0.4

Great potential for lasting gameplayPokemon Sleep has a great concept to track sleep in a way that rewards users by gaining helper pokemon, completing a sleep-style Pokédex, and feeding snorlax and helper pokemon along the way. The downside to the algorithm is that gameplay does not allow for people who work different shifts (ex. Night shifts or 24hour shifts) to benefit as much as individuals who have a traditional work schedule during the day to progress through the game (risk to damaging sleep score / sleep consistency as your bedtime may not align with the developer’s ideal sleep schedule). I use the pokeball plus+ device to track sleep but I have used the smartphone to track sleep. One suggestion would be to have a “grace period” for accidental knocking the phone or pokeball plus+ device off the bed during sleep or accidental turning off the sleep tracker. If you go to bed on time but due to rolling over in your sleep you deactivate the tracker, it would be helpful to the user to be able to reactivate it within a couple mins without it taking away from the data collected. Otherwise you’ll end up with 2 separate sleep sessions with lower scores..Version: 1.2.0

Great app! But can’t listen to music :(I absolutely LOVE this app so far. I’ve been using it for about 2 weeks straight now, and my only issue so far is that I can’t listen to my sleep playlist while tracking sleep for research. I have a very specific type of music to help me lower my heart rate which is very important as a person with insomnia. I don’t much care for the “relaxing sounds” provided with the app, but since the app has to be left open to track for research, I thought I might be able to just use my music subscription in the background. Sadly, every time I start the music and return to the game for sleep research, my music is unable to play in the background. Maybe if you can’t allow background apps to play music, you could offer different options for the music that plays while tracking sleep. I, personally, can’t stand music that I can tell is on loop. It reminds me of being left on hold on a phone call which makes me angry and anxious, which makes me unable to sleep. If the background music option or alternate sound options was made available, this app would immediately get 5 stars from me!.Version: 1.0.4

Good game riddled with flawsOk first off, I will say that this app has helped me with getting to bed consistently and waking up feeling refreshed. And some of the pokemon sleep styles are kinda cute. But that’s where my praise ends. For starters, if you are a phone user (like myself), there seems to be an inconsistency when it comes to actually tracking sleep. I have had several nights where that app says I've woken up at like 5:30 or 5 in the morning when in actuality, i wake up at 6 everyday (except on days off where the same problem happens). I tend to be a restless sleeper and thought at first, my problem was bouncing the phone around in my sleep. But since I try to move less now, I still have the same tracking problems, but am now locked into getting exclusively slumbering type styles. Balancing type if I'm lucky enough. I’ve even thought about getting the Go+ device but from the reviews I've read even that has its problems with tracking. If I knew it wouldn’t botch things further, I’d just simply put it on my bed shelf behind me but that’s not the intended way to play. I want to keep playing as full moon sleep and new pokemon are coming soon but this whole not tracking sleep thing is really swaying me towards uninstalling….Version: 1.0.5

DisappointedIf you have a white noise maker, listen to music, or ASMR to fall asleep forget it. Even with headphones on the game can’t tell the difference. I was really liking this game except for the fact that if you played any sort of music or video to fall asleep to other than the ones in the app it doesn’t record your sleep. I was a little bummed but whatever, it still records a sleep duration and you can still play most of the game. Or so I thought. For your length of sleep you get a “sleep score” and that is how many “sleep points” you get for free use in the general store. I don’t know if they just start you with so many I didn’t notice for the first month or if it worked and then broke in an update but I am never awarded “sleep points”. The game works by recording the sounds/movement you make when you sleep so I get it not wanting to record if there music playing except, I’m wearing headphones! AND I’m still being given a sleep score! Support pretty much said that if the app is in the background it’s completely non-functional. If it is the active app it mutes anything else that was playing. So if you can’t fall asleep to the few soothing Pokemon tunes that are available, or complete silence, move on..Version: 1.1.0

Not enough pokeballs, items too expensive compared to GOEven with having the subscription, there is no way to get enough pokeballs to be meaningful. It’s honestly discouraging. I like this game, it’s fun and does encourage me to go to bed on time, but the rewards just aren’t there. You should at least be able to get 3 pokeballs a day without a subscription. With a subscription like 5 would be nice. Also the cost of diamonds vs how much you get is way out of proportion. It’s frustrating. You get 20 diamonds for discovering things, but the smallest box is 600. Even in Pokemon Go you get 50 coins for holding a gym for 8 hours and the coins are worth way more than diamonds. Plus outside of random chance, there doesn’t seem to be a way to earn diamonds after all discoveries are complete. So you spend $50 on a subscription for only 6 months and you get a boost only enough to guarantee 1 pokeball a day at 150 sleep points and the 100 point balls are limited purchases that take way too long to reset. I really like this game, but the cost for things is SO VERY out of balance..Version: 1.7.2

Great game but I suspect a flaw.Great start to this really cute and fun idea for a game. I love the concept. The art style is adorable and everything runs smoothly. I really wish that it had the compatability to receive sleep data from an Apple Watch because I’d much rather wear my Apple Watch to sleep than have my phone by my head. So, since this is based on basically the quality of your sleep and duration, people who have narcolepsy like myself may never be able to fully enjoy the game and all of its Pokémon. I know I personally will NEVER hit 8.5 hours of sleep therefore I will never reach 100 points a night. It’s one thing to be a short sleeper, but even short sleepers can have better quality sleep, meaning more time in slumbering mode. I will NEVER be able to befriend any of the slumbering type Pokémon associated with deep sleep because I will never have that be the majority of my nights sleep type. It’s just the way it is for me with narcolepsy. This makes me sad and also a little frustrated because it’s not fair really. This probably wasn’t even thought of during the development process..Version: 1.0.1

Perfect! As an autistic person who has a lot of trouble getting motivation to go to sleep on time AS WELL AS get a good amount of sleep in general this game has already helped me so much only a few nights in, i love it so much and i’ve already gone from going to bed from 5-7am and waking up at 2-5pm to going to sleep from 12-3am and waking up at 10am-1pm. May not sound like much but i’m not even a week in and it’s helped me progress that much. I figured that it would drain battery percentage as well, as I normally go to sleep with my phone on a lower percentage and charge it up to 100% overnight. However, I leave the app open all night and wake up with my phone at 100% as usual! I love all the features and thinks you can do in this game but I especially love the bedtime stamp card feature! And the fact that it works weekly. I can wean myself into an earlier sleeping time hour by hour till i’m perfectly in schedule to get a good night’s rest! Thank you so much pokémon team! :) P.S. I don’t use the premium version, and it still works amazingly. I think that alone is worth admiration..Version: 1.0.3

Ruining my screen time averagesI’ll preface this by saying i do really enjoy this game, i’ve built up a nice little collection of cool pokemon, and it’s a nice change of pace from other pokemon spin-offs as it’s not focused on powering up pokemon to use them in battle. i’m sure everyone knows at this point that you have to keep your phone open in order for it to track your sleep. usually the screen dimming is enough to make my phone not count my sleep time as screen time, but sometimes that mechanism seems to just… break. it’ll randomly add 4-7 consecutive hours to my screen time, which will cause my daily average for the week to SKYROCKET. i try to keep my screen time under 7 hours every day, and it’s really really difficult to track my progress on that when this game alone has been responsible for 7 hours of screen time. i know for a fact it’s not anything i’m doing physically. my phone stays face down on my bed all night, i’m not doing anything to flip it over or mess with it in any way. i don’t know if a notification will set it off or something, but it’s extremely frustrating ending up with 10-12 hours of screen time in a day because of this game..Version: 1.0.16

Really quite amazing and funPokémon Sleep has really helped me to keep a healthy sleep schedule. I am an autistic kid who struggles with healthy habits, and I used to get about 4-5 hours of sleep each night. With Pokémon Sleep, I am motivated to get more sleep each night! For me, the tracking system works very well and helps me learn more about my sleep patterns. It also has music, and I need some noise to help me fall asleep. I am happy with all the features to play with in the morning, even though it is called Pokémon Sleep! Pokémon Sleep is very helpful, and it only just released. I am excited for many updates to come! What I would recommend for future updates: For there to be a shorter minimum, about maybe 50 minutes, because what if you are just taking a quick nap or if you want to sleep a little bit longer after you wake up, but not for long. And I know there are already sleep tips, but can they appear more often and are based on your sleep data? Those are the things I would like in the next update. Anyway, 5 stars for Pokémon Sleep!.Version: 1.0.4

Great app, could be better!I love this app. Ever since I got it on release day, I have been using it to track my sleep. While I don’t have too many Pokémon, I get a lot of repeats, every night it encourages me to go to bed earlier so my helper Pokémon get more energy, I get more sleep styles, and sleep points to spend in the store. I also like the meal feature and how it changes. The addition of shinies is a good feature, I got a shiny ekans recently! However, I think it would be a good idea to allow your Apple Watch and it’s better sensors to communicate with Pokémon sleep, and vice versa, so if I miss a day, my Apple Watch still would have recorded it so I could still get Pokémon. If you guys released a real sleep tracking device with all sorts of sensors like heart rate, microphone, as well as the sensors in the phone like the microphone, light sensor, accelerometer, and gyroscope. I don’t get how other people dislike this app, I like it. No, it isn’t perfect, but it’s still pretty fun and I like incorporating it into my bedtime routines. Keep it up Niantic and Nintendo!.Version: 1.0.8

A few key problemsFirst off, as someone who sometimes struggles to keep herself to a bedtime schedule, I love the idea of this app. It makes me *excited* to go to sleep, which is something I can’t say for myself in the past. However… I have two big problems with this app. (I actually don’t mind the phone on the bed thing.) 1. I hate that I can’t play other audio media at the same time as I track my sleep — I usually fall asleep to white noise or podcasts so this has been a huge adjustment for me. If there was an option to turn off the app tracking noises in a trade-off for allowing media to play, I’d do that in a heartbeat. 2. The system that determines which Pokémon come visit you is pretty disappointing. I currently am sleeping on a softer mattress than I’d like, so that causes me to toss and turn a lot in my sleep because my body is trying to minimize the strain that the mattress is putting on me. Because I can’t buy a new mattress right now, this means that almost all of the Pokémon I’m seeing are classified as “Dozing.” I’ve seen so many repeats and I’m starting to worry I won’t see a lot of the Pokémon in the game, just because of my current circumstances..Version: 1.0.5

Love the game, but simple changes would help…I really enjoy this game, but when using the pokemon go plus plus device, it is really easy to accidentally activate sleeping mode and record a sleeping session that is inaccurate. I often accidentally record a short “sleep” session when the device is in my bag or my cat walks on top of it when left on my bed and that short session then counts as my primary sleep session for the day and my pokemon get minimal energy to use the next day. My real session that night does not count towards giving my Pokémon energy because only the first sleep session of the day counts. I wish there was a way to delete accidental sleep sessions. When the app tells me in the morning that I have 2 sleep sessions to review, it would be easy to give the option of deleting one of them if the person wants to. I’ve wasted many sleep points on pillows or just having to swap out tired pokemon for less ideal ones because of these accidental sleep sessions. Please consider adding the option of deleting a sleep session if the person wants to!.Version: 1.6.0

Pretty goodHonestly a really fun app. I already had a fairly decent sleep schedule in terms of hours but now I’m better with sleeping at relatively similar times (obviously some days are different based on if I have school or work) and I like that they updated the bedtime thing so you have 2 hours worth of wiggle room which if you time correctly can effectively act as two bedtimes. My only complaints right now after some previous updates and confirmed future ones, is how I wished the friend list had better stats like showing when someone was last active as right now it’s pretty difficult to tell without actively checking each person which obviously is time taking. Besides that I just have one other thing to say which isn’t even a complaint really, I wish there was a way to change a Pokémon’s nature as sometimes I’ll find a Pokémon with really good sun skills but their nature completely ruins it or a shiny Pokémon who’s nature just makes it not worth having on the team compared to someone else.Version: 1.0.8

Too expensiveI know this is Pokemon but this game is way to expensive to play. The premium pass doesn’t seem worth $50 dollars every 6 months and $100 dollars a year for what you get from the premium pass. On top of that the amount of sleep points you earn per night is not enough to be able to get biscuits or food items when you’ve run out. I think it’s nice that we get one free biscuit but since the game allows two sleep sessions you should be able to get one free biscuit per sleep session. Also getting 3 gifts every 3 months for the premium pass is also silly I guess that’s to try to push the 5 month subscription vs the monthly one. The game is cute and fun and I know it’s not meant to be rushed it’s a sleeping game, however it’s way to slow paced and again, hard to keep up with the demands of the game like feeding your snorlax when you run out of ingredients so fast and aren’t able to gather them fast enough. Also not being able to encounter certain Pokémon due to your sleep style isn’t fair to people who might have sleeping disorders. At least make an item that attracts certain Pokémon from each sleep style..Version: 1.0.5

Pay to winIt is very much pay to win because even with 100% sleep (of 8.5hours) every night, you arent earning enough currency to keep buying biscuits nor is there a way to earn more while you sleep unless you pay for premium. That said, i HAVE premium (free trial) and STILL arent earning enough so the last option is to buy diamonds for more biscuits or expect to only get a pokemon once every few days. It's very disappointing and makes premium very lackluster for a $10/month charge when it hardly helps. I initially thought the premium shop (for cheaper items Like biscuits) reset once a week to buy more but that is monthly reset as well so doesnt provide a sufficient amount. If you are more patient than I am, you may be able to look past this but pokemon has always been about catching and raising and this doesn't feel like there is much reward in participating in an app to stalk your sleep patterns. Also, hungry pokemon is a rare occurrence but i feel my game isnt always telling me when they are because i randomly get boosts when feeding sometimes and wasting free biscuit for this lack of knowledge..Version: 1.0.10

Loving the game, but please fix this flaw.Having spent a significant amount of time exploring Pokémon Sleep, I can confidently attest to its unique appeal and innovation. The game does a stellar job in merging the captivating world of Pokémon with the indispensable act of sleeping, creating an experience that is both engaging and beneficial to one's well-being. The mechanics are well-conceived and align beautifully with the game's objective. It’s a nice calming and cute game that has a smart twist. However, there's a particular glitch that occasionally mars the experience. On waking up and attempting to conclude my sleep session via the "end sleep session" button, the game occasionally indicates that no sleep data has been found. This invariably results in a failure to log my sleep, rendering me unable to undertake sleep research for that specific day. Such technical setbacks detract from an otherwise delightful experience and I hope to see a resolution soon. In summary, Pokémon Sleep showcases a commendable fusion of gaming and health. With a few tweaks, it has the potential to be a seamless and rewarding experience for all users..Version: 1.0.4

Pets Mess Up Results! (need ability to overwrite data or review it if it’s inaccurate)So far I think this is a really great app. I love how cute it is, and most importantly it helped me fix my sleep schedule. The only thing is, my cats sleep next to me a lot. They frequently mess my readings up because they lay or walk near my phone. It thinks I sleep lighter than I do because of all my cats movement and noise, and sometimes it will say that it took me two hours or so to fall asleep when in reality I konked out in less than fifteen minutes. I’m getting hours worth of time taken off from my sessions some days which results in me not getting a maxed out score when I should have. There isn’t really anything it can do to tell if it’s your pets or you (it can also give inaccurate results if you sleep with your partner so you have to watch out for people too!), so I just hope in the future you can overwrite sleep data, or be able to check if the time it took you to fall asleep was accurate..Version: 1.0.5

Cute But Unusable For Me and OthersI think this app is very cute and a great concept. I understand wanting to use the microphone to record sleep etc so that it is accurate, but I cannot use it because I need rain sounds to fall asleep, like a lot of others. The app does not allow white noise or anything to play while it is open, so it makes it unusable for me and a lot of others. If there was a way to change it to allow background app sound play or to start a sleep session and then close your phone with the white noise playing , and after your sleep session end it, then I would love that. I was super excited to use but it just is unusable for me. If you could make it so the audio recording function is an option and that the app just needs to press start in order to record sleep and stop to end, instead of having to keep it open and your phone open with no option for background music. I really hope the developers take these suggestions into consideration, because I know a lot of more people would use it and it would be more accessible. Thank you!.Version: 1.0.4

It’s cute, but I question its tracking accuracy sometimesI downloaded it because I like pokemon, and was looking for a sleep tracker to figure out my insomnia. I enjoy all the “game” parts, as it’s light and fun, and I enjoy collecting the pokemon! However, while the sleep tracking is OK, I’m not sure how accurate it really is, at least in the 3 stages (light medium and deep sleep). There’s definitely been mornings where I forgot to tell it I’ve woken up until and hour or two later, but when I look at the tracker, it thinks I was “snoozing” during some of that time. Or, there are nights that take me an hour or two to fall asleep, but the tracker thinks I fell into deep sleep within 10 minutes of laying down. Again, I’m more just tracking when I go to bed vs wake up, and don’t necessarily want deep accurate tracking of sleep stages, nor did I expect that from a Pokémon game. But if that’s what you want, there are better apps. This is just a relaxing idle-adjacent game to wake up with or wind down before bed, and does a nice job at being exactly that..Version: 1.0.15

Made waking up from difficult to funI absolutly love this app/game! I use it with the Go Plus+ and it works great except some little crashes from time to time but it takes 2 seconds to reload the game so i don’t really mind. The app is still new and I hope it gets developped a bit more : new / more pokemons, widgets to help remind every ADHDer to go collect some berries, maybe even a way to collect berries via the apple watch. Maybe select a pokemon that will appear on the widget and by having it as our partner it could get candy over time (like in pokemon go). Anyway just brainstorming some things that I think are missing. I find it hard to grow Snorlax enough to attract new and nice pokemon / sleep style in a week without the better camp ticket. But this item cost a lot on in game currency so it’s hard to get if you don’t pay the monthly sub. Except the monthly sub is… a lot for a sleeping app meant to be use 5 min in the morning and a couple of times a day a minute at a time. I don’t mind paying a sub, I paid 18$ / month a very long time for Pocket Camp, but the sub was worth the price..Version: 1.0.5

Very cute appAs a person who loves sleeping apps, I absolutely LOVE this app. It’s so cute and fun! Definitely has some bugs though. One bug I noticed is when it’s snorlax’s meal time, (morning/afternoon/supper), it takes awhile for the app to recognize the time zone. I’ve also had the app crash on me a couple times already and loses the # of hours I’ve slept for the night. & I’m not a fan of keeping my phone on all night, especially when it’s on my mattress/beside my pillow. Super big fire hazard risk. There are other sleeping apps that allow the app to run in the “background” (& on a hard surface) and can still track sleep with the microphone. Lots of potential with this app! Please update it!!.Version: 1.0.1

It is a cute game first, sleep tracker second. Stop complaining.People just do not get it. This is a Tamagochi style game with a sleep tracker to get points. Stop complaining about the lack of compatibility with Apple Watch or FitBit. If you have one, use a proper sleep tracker! This is a cute game and bot intended to diagnose or be used as medical device. Also, Nintendo has always been about Nintendo, just like Apple has always been about Apple, so why would they make it compatible to other devices if they can have one of their own? Nintendo Go+ Plus is the name. This is almost asking for an Apple Watch to be compatible with a Samsung Galaxy. Cmon people. And about the fire hazard issue: Have you noticed that the screen turns off when the screen is put down? Probably not, right? And for instance how many fires have you ever seen starting from a charging cellphone in your life? Millions? No, wait... Thousands? Maybe some hundreds???... Let me answer it for you: the number tends to be ZERO or a super rare occurrence that happens on older low quality brands phones that probably you heard from a friend of a friend who had an issue or that you saw on local news special report about that 1 in a billion incidence case, so stop overreacting, millenials. Damn it..Version: 1.0.4

W gameW game L complaining reviews, issYOU not an issME ‼️⁉️🔥🔥🔥🙏🙏🗣️🗣️.Version: 1.0.3

Very simple but fun!Been playing for about 2 weeks now and it’s very fun making meals and getting new Pokémon through sleep, it’s a very passive game so if you’re looking for something you don’t need to spend a lot of time on this is for you. Some people say that the phone gets too hot at night but I have a newer phone and it’s not even warm in the morning. Honestly a great game I hope they keep updating and patching as it continues :).Version: 1.0.5

Always LoadingThe game is a decent idler that I could check a few times a day, but just about everything you click puts you into a “now loading” screen, even when simply going through menus. It’s ridiculous and feels clunky and doesn’t feel good to navigate. Please optimize the game. I don’t see myself playing long term let alone wanting to spend money if this is how this game will always run..Version: 1.11.0

Unknown error wen try going in sleep tracking modNever got problem with app till today unknown error wen i try going to sleep fix please.Version: 1.2.0

Review loading, please wait...Any time you open any menu, there's a multiple second loading screen, so many animations are "unskippable cutscenes", i dont know why they decided to have a 10 second animation of barely any motion when I want to start tracking my sleep, im tired, i dont want to sit there and wait 5 seconds for a skip button (that doesn't register tapping it until a few more seconds after it shows up) to appear. This app should be able to run on a potato, yet for some unspeakable reason it's the most graphically intensive battery drain making phones so hot that they're a fire hazard, and that's before you even mention the part where you're supposed to stuff it under your extremely flammable pillow *and* plug it into a charger at the same time. Other sleep apps (that somehow give you the exact same data) don't have that issue, but then again they don't render intensive 3D graphics during the time it's designed to be a black screen and the user is meant to be asleep, not looking at the screen..Version: 1.0.6

Great app, but not for busy peopleThis app is great fun to wake up to in the morning, and while I appreciate the app not letting notifications startle me awake, it doesn’t let ANY notification come through AT ALL. No phone calls, no texts, no alarms, NOTHING. So if you’re someone with a busy life that HAS to ALWAYS be on the alert with a message, this app WILL NOT let any of those very important messages come through. So, EMT, police, on-call people, I would not use this app, not until they fix this..Version: 1.0.5

Really cuteThe game is cute & fun! Definitely needs a bit of tweaks but overall I like it..Version: 1.0.4

Apple Watch supportI absolutely love this game/ app. It’s a super fun and cute way to track your sleep, and I find myself using it every night. On that note, being that we’re in the second half of 2023, there should be an Apple Watch app, with a cool feature similar to the Pokémon Go Plus + device offers Pokémon Sleep users..Version: 1.0.4

I’m getting way more sleepI’ve been using this app ever since it came out. I love Pokémon and this app makes me not dread going to sleep because I know I have something to look forward to when I wake up. Also wakening up is so much easier as it gives me the drive to get out of bed. I’ve been trying to think of ways to get myself to sleep and give me the drive to get a good night's sleep and this app has done that for me. And the reward in the morning is worth it! I get to wake up to such cute Pokémon and catch some! If you like Pokémon and find it hard to get to sleep, this app is wonderful!.Version: 1.0.3

GoodUnknown error ?????.Version: 1.11.1

Some bugs - but overall a fun, healthy game! This app has helped me fix my sleep, which, as a blue collar worker working 72-84 hours a week, is crucial to my physical recovery. I love waking up and cashing in my nice, long sleep to get some new pokemon and some points to get more items to make my pokemon stronger. I love this app!!.Version: 1.0.3

Good idea, poor executionI really don't see why the app has to stay open while tracking sleep data, or why we can't play our own audio while tracking. I get that the app will record sounds throughout the night, but 99% of the time all it catches from me anyway is me tossing and turning in my sleep. The lack of Apple Watch accessibility also feels like it was left out on purpose so you'll have to buy their Pokémon Go plus+ doohickey if you wanna use the app but not risk burning your house down. The game already has micro-transactions, would it really be that big of a blow to not let Apple Watch users utilize their own product?.Version: 1.0.5

This is Amazing! Such cute art style!I love this game quite a lot, as it has been helping me get more sleep and want to get to sleep earlier! I have been feeling a lot healthier and getting more sleep then usual, thank you Pokémon! For making sleeping “fun”! 😂 (I also absolutely adore the cute little sleeping Pokémon and the colours, are and AAAAAA it’s so good <3).Version: 2.1.0

Very Cute Game!I’ve been playing since the first day it was available in Canada, and I can say that this game is really really fun :) it’s not too complicated, and is nice to have throughout the day when you’re not sure of what else to do! It has had some bugs, but for most the developers are very good at putting out fixes. The only one I’ve consistently had since the beginning of this games life is that after taking pictures of the sleeping pokemon, the game just freezes. I have to close it, and sometimes have to redo the entire sleep data section and the photos again. It’s really frustrating, and has happened a lot the last few months. But I trust this can be fixed, and still love this game!.Version: 1.11.0

AnnoyingI like the game but omg the loading time and the animation for snorlax leveling up are so long.Version: 1.11.0

Love This App, but..Pokémon sleep is so much fun i sleep much better now thanks to it, but since I got to a new island it keeps telling me that my sleep data wasn’t found for two days, so please and thank you fix this bug. Update: Haven’t been able to use this app too much due to being super busy and forgetting about it for the past few months. But a request for a feature is letting us play podcasts while we’re sleeping especially since if we like using them for helping with sleep instead of the same relaxing music in the app! Hope you consider this and add it back..Version: 1.10.1
