1st rideWhat an excellent experience! Took the ride from Fashion Show to Luxor. Ride showed up within 3-5 min of my request. I was with three other people and we all fit comfortably with lots of room. The cab was clean and music, temperature control was all adjustable at your fingertips. There were four wireless charging pads available for all of us to use which was convenient. The ride was smooth and zoox was efficient at getting us to where we wanted to go. Also when we exited the vehicle I almost immediately received a call from zoox and they said I may have left something in the ride. So we went back and I double checked. Fun and enjoyableThe Zoox vehicles are fun and enjoyable and the app is very easy to use. Get discouraged when the app says no vehicles ready just refresh the app several times and the possibility of a Zoox vehicle being available is highly likely; the reason for this is folks reserve the vehicle but either cancel the reservation or just don’t show up. In the case of a booked reservation the Zoox vehicle will only wait 2-3 minutes and cancel on its own. The vehicles are nice and clean with music you can adjust and climate control you can adjust as well. Amazing!What a cool experience! The Zoox is like a little chariot from the future. When we had got in the door hadn’t shut yet from the last rider and a person (actual human) called and politely instructed us to hop out and let the doors shut and use the app to open the door. It’s a really neat thing. Once inside (we were riding at night) there’s some cool star lights on the ceiling, a nice spacious sounding sound system which you can pair your own phone to play whatever you want. Super interesting experienceThis was a really amazing experience, the cars are super cool and let you adjust the temperature and change the music. However, Towards the end of the night our zoox ended up getting confused by some cones and we went in a loop around our hotel a few times. We ended up having to call customer support and they were very nice! While the experience is very cool it definitely has a few downsides, If you’re in a rush to get somewhere on the strip it’ll be 1000% be faster to walk. Easy PeazySeems like an early installment since we had to walk to a specific pick up point. But the ride itself was very smooth and vehicle seemed very welcoming. Easy to understand instructions and attach seatbelt. Only change I would like is to see what the Car is seeing. Vehicles passing by, making turns, pedestrians crossing or standing idol on the sidewalk. Gives the passenger peace of mind knowing the car sees what I see. Pleasant experienceIt's performance is exceeding my expectation. Very smooth, and hardly felt hard stop. Maybe there was once when we had a hard jerky movement. The issue was, though, that it got stuck when making a left from congested area near Bellagio hotel intersection. I think it struggled to identify the lane pave mark. The best experience!Hands down the best automated vehicle experience ever! There’s something so fun about NOT feeling like you’re in a car. The overall experience of being able to face each other gives a certain premium train ride vibe where you feel like you’re on a journey rather than a basic commute. Smooth, quiet, awesome rideThis was a very interesting experience. It was very smooth quiet awesome ride loved everything about it. The seats could be just a tad more comfortable, especially for older adults not me, of course, but I think older people would appreciate a softer seat. Safe ride!It took a little bit to finally catch one but it arrived at the pickup time, it knew it was me, I got in and it gave instructions on what to do to start the ride, maneuvered traffic easily, (at night) it even encounter a detour and navigated that without issue, arrived at the specified time, I was impressed with the way it navigated the drop off, there was a lot of congestion but handled it no problem and let me out in a safe spot. Smooth and EasyMy first Zoox ride was easy using the app. Only issue was that I was not at the pickup point when I asked for the ride and I had to rush to the pickup point to get there about 30 seconds after the Zoox. It would be better if the app told you how far away the Zoox was before you started it. Driving was smooth and easy. Futuristic, Comfortable, and Just Plain FunThis ride was seriously awesome. Super smooth, quiet, and surprisingly fun. Loved having phone chargers built in, great music, adjustable AC, and a panoramic windowed roof that makes the whole experience feel futuristic. Amazing experienceWe didn’t want to leave Vegas without taking a Zoox. The wait time said 45+ minutes but it found us a ride in under 20 minutes and arrived in 20 more. It was very intuitive, clean, comfortable and fun! It has lots of view spaces so you can watch the city and take pictures as you go. I didn’t want to get off. Awesome experienceIn Las Vegas for the first time with my nine-year-old daughter, we went to the sphere to see the Wizard of Oz. My daughter and I used Zoox for a few trips in our time in Vegas and it was a tremendous help. Only a 2 because it’s cuteI had never ridden the Zoox cars before so was excited to ride it, and even if it said like 30 minutes I decided to still wait since it would be a cool experience. But, I had no idea where it was picking up and was stressing when it said that it was 2 minutes away and we only got to the pick up spot a minute till pickup though it then went to 8 minutes right when we got there and me and my granddaughter were annoyed since we were supposed to get in the car after a long day. So then after waiting a while and seeing them drive by after dropping people off but then leaving and not picking anyone up. After a little we are switched cars and it says 32 minutes which was crazy but then it switched to 16 but at this point we had been waiting at least 40 minutes so we ended up canceling our ride. Side note: there were many people waiting but maybe 2 groups got on the whole time we were at the stop and a couple groups got off but a lot of the cars just sat there and no we did not miss our car it just never came..GailstorchVersion: 26.13.405

Couldn’t use itThis review can be summed up by: “We can't pick you up right now This may be due to road conditions or other issues. For additional assistance, press Help to contact Zoox Support.” I know Zoox is new and still in early stages. That being said, during my 3 day trip to Vegas, I couldn’t use it even once. Day 1 was a Saturday, which apparently isn’t a day that they operate. Nowhere in the app did it say that. It just gave an error when trying to book a ride saying that they couldn’t pick me up, maybe due to road conditions. You have to hit “Help” to see that they don’t operate on Saturday. On Sunday, same issue. I texted their support and got this as a result: “Hi rider, this is Michelle with Zoox Support In Las Vegas. You can use the app to request a ride between the four destinations in our service area. These destinations are Resorts World Las Vegas, Luxor, Topgolf, and AREA15. At this time New York New York is down we don't have an ETA when service will be back up. Please also make sure you're at the pick up location or within 20 meters of your pickup spot when requesting a ride. We're working to add more Las Vegas destinations in the months ahead. These rides are free for a limited time.” I was trying to go from the Vdara to New York New York, 0.4 miles away. Day 3 is Monday and I’m leaving and Zoox doesn’t operate until 11am. I will try this again and modify my review if it is warranted once I’m back. But for now, 1 star for the app for not conveying the actual issues preventing a ride..SDVDR97Version: 25.37.4.05

App and service lackingI downloaded this app in an attempt to use a zoox vehicle during a recent trip to Vegas. I say attempt because 1.) the vehicles were not available for hours after the beginning of their “active” hours and once they were, the locations I wanted to go to were “too far away” and I was “too far away from a pickup point”. I eventually gave up. The app doesn’t give information on how many vehicles are available, offer to alert you when a vehicle is available or offer clearly mapped directions to pick up points. They’ve chosen highly crowded and complex cities to roll this out in but don’t seem to have bothered to map those cities most commonly utilized ride share pickup locations. While the app made it impossible to order a vehicle for myself, I saw plenty in traffic while I was paying for ride shares. I watched them: use incorrect turn signals, get confused on traffic and stay stopped for excessive durations allowing everyone to merge but making everyone behind them wait, and generally behave like cheap robot vacuums. Two stars because this is a great service in theory but in execution is more of a burden than a convenience..Unicolern1Version: 26.13.405

Where Can I Go?Zoox can only pick you up and drop you off at certain spots. The problem is the app doesn’t make this clear at all. It just says where do you want to go, but most of the map is actually inaccessible. Stops can also be closed to events, but there’s no way to tell if the bus stop is open! This is a glorified shuttle service, and it’s up to you to figure out if where you want to go is actually possible. In addition, they do not have enough Zoox vehicles available, so sometimes the app will just say “try again later.” You can’t rely on the service to get you to and from places, or you need to add more time than the Las Vegas buses take..Rio239Version: 26.15.410

Wrong advertising of service area and location’s availabilityI would give 0 stars if I could. As a customer, how did I know the service range is only few locations instead of the highlighted service area. The instructions are even outside the app on another webpage. The app even allows you to pick on map then rejects it. Finally when I repositioned to a nearby pick up spot and found out the New York New York location was disabled.
