Good but could use some workOkay first off I really like this game it's a good balance of Fun and Challenging but their are somethings I would like you to add in the game. Like The Dark Knight battles I think it would be awesome if every few times you fight him you could set up defenses and he would have to Match to take down your defenses. You could also use coins to make your defenses so the coins are put to good use. Another thing is about the Electric Ball I feel like you should get it more early on in the game not like right of the bat but at least at level 100 making it not so hard to get through so many levels to get it. Also I think you should have at least Five Try’s before you lose it I mean you have to win 10 games in a row without losing the streak at all just to get it. Now I'm not saying to shorten the streak I'm just saying maybe you can give us a few chances before we lose the ball just so we’re not on the edge of our seat every level. I feel like Five Try's is good enough. Also maybe when we win that infinite lives for a period time you could let us active it on our own instead of immediately turning it on cause maybe some players are done playing for the day and they waste all that time. The finale thing is maybe adding a Richard's Journey every few times in the game cause I noticed when I got farther in the game I didn't see them that often anymore. It feels like a scam more than a game.I have been playing this game for a couple of years all the levels are the same just different kingdoms, and they have this dark kingdom thing that isn’t really that fun because you can actually see how it sets you up to lose, the best way to get past it is lose for a while break down and buy more coins and once you have a few 1000 coins the game just lets you win. Also after you have advanced pretty far in the game that Dark Kingdom round pops up about 2 or 3 rounds so your playing all the time and like all the other rounds it’s the same thing over and over. For as much money you spend on coins the prizes should be better, for example some rounds you have to use everything you have and it maybe a challenge and as a reward you get 10 coins everything cost a minimum of 900 coins. Also they have these cards they give as reward that are useless unless you win all the cards and they change every week so you may be close to winning and then they switch so you lose what you gained. Finally if you have to lose and try again they penalize you by taking things you have already won even if you have to spend lots of money to get them. One of the Better Games… But…This is one of the better games available. As long as you strategically set up moves in advance, you can pass the levels without having to use any ‘boost’s’. Amazing and always challengingI really love this game! I was excited and preordered it when I knew there was a new king coming out. The first time I played it, the tutorial was simple and the strategy was intriguing. The game is very fun and I love to play it! It has tons of way you can beat the levels without having to spend tons of money and you can also do challenges and give your team more rewards. The game always has a level I stop at and have to come back to in order to beat. But that’s the bright side of this game! It’s ok if you know what you’re getting.Have you ever played an old school arcade cabinet. As a kid , I would wait in line , quarter in hand , adrenaline pumping. I could always beat the first level and boom, I’m hooked on the dopamine. Then, I’d proceed to blow all of my quarters in the next 3 minutes and walk away a sad , sad little boy lol. That’s what this game is. Fun Game but…This is a fun & highly addictive game. They clearly use gambling psychology to get you hooked. However the game’s algorithm is definitely set up to try and get you to make in game purchases. During game play they make it difficult to create powerball matches. Once you do manage to make a powerball match some unrelated match will set it off & it’s wasted. Also, once you hit that 0 turns left, suddenly you’re given random powerballs & power ups that would easily clear the level, but that only happens when you have no more turns left, BUT you can BUY your way to beat the level. Also, once you played to same level about 10 times the game will feel sorry for you & start giving you random power ups that fall from the sky so you can move on to the next level. However, the longer you play, you will notice that winning will require purchases 4 out of 5 games. If you don’t pay to play, you will be stuck replaying a game 40 times. Somewhat Greedy!. To continue play, you need 900 chips, but when you win anything, you are rewarded 100 chips or 50 chips…surely not enough to replenish what you are putting out. I love it - but higher levelsI do love this game. However, there have been a few times (currently also) where I’ve been stuck for longer than a week trying to beat a level. I’m on level 1855. So I would say the upper levels are where this becomes less enjoyable because you use up all your coins, all your power ups, and can’t make any progress. It stalls completely. It’s not fun to repeatedly play the same level for days and make no progress unless you spend money. Which I’ve done in the past and it didn’t help me get out of the slump I was in. They try to hook you before they bait you…I really enjoyed this game until about a level 188. And then passed level 210, unless you’re willing to start buying things from them, you’re gonna find yourself very frustrated. It’s a clever strategy, they make the game a lot of fun, challenging, but not absurd, and they don’t nag you to death with offers. But then after you’ve played about 200 levels, you’re really into the game. Fun Game but Not Like the AdsI’ve been playing Royal Match for over a year and I’m currently on level 2630, so this is coming from someone who actually enjoys the game. One of the best things about it is that there are no ads and you can play without internet, which is rare for mobile games now. The graphics are good and the gameplay can be really fun. However, once you get to higher levels it starts to feel like the game pushes you to spend money just to win. Some levels become almost impossible unless you buy boosters or coins, which takes away from the fun. Another issue is the advertising. The ads show the king running away from snakes and traps where you solve puzzle patterns to save him. Those parts look exciting, but they are barely part of the actual game. Not so goodNow this game is really fun and addictive. There are some problems that the game need to fix though. Like one problem is that you don’t get lots of time to collect all the cards from the event. Another problem is that the games does not give you many lives. Good Game, But…The game is enjoyable, reminds me a lot of Gardenscapes. With that being said, like Gardenscapes, the ads that led me to install the game looks nothing like the game you’ll actually be playing. Unlike Gardenscapes however, the game seems less aggressive in attempts to get you to buy from the store. I’m up to about level 50, and have yet to feel like I needed to buy anything to make the game easier. Luck based, not friendly for f2p players.The game started out fine. Pretty easy and then got harder but still not bad. Then as you start getting into higher levels the game came incredibly luck based, hoping for the good drops to give you lots and I mean lots of power ups in order to even get close to beating the level. The amount of times a disco ball power up was 1 square away from combining with another power up was so high you started thinking they did this on purpose so you have to use a hammer. Streaks become non existent in the higher levels due to this nonsense. The amount of coins you get for beating levels and completing kingdom areas is minimal compared to the amount of coins it cost to buy 5 more moves. The amount of times that I was 1-2 moves away from finishing the level or spending real money to get more coins or just lose your streak making team event rewards very low. The levels that require a certain amount of a certain color to unlock other areas only work if you actually get that color to drop. I’ve had levels that I didn’t even have the whole board unlocked because I didn’t have enough colors to unlock it when I ran out of moves. Pay to playAs a user: when I first downloaded this game it was amazing. It has no ads, doesn’t require WiFi, and I can turn off the sound so if I’m hooked up to the aux on long car trips the music is never interrupted and neither is my game. That being said, recently the game has gotten harder to play without paying real money. Not just because I’m higher up in the levels, but also because the chances of getting rewards has gone down. Highly repetitiveLike many I downloaded this game from social media ads that show you moving the king through puzzles, along with various types of other play. But at level 150 I’ve seen about 7 puzzles and not one of them are the same style as the ads. However they are similar to what’s shown here in the Apple App Store. Prepare to pay or play just for a few minutesThe game starts off fun and you can progress well even without paying. But around rank 150, about 7-10 hours of play, you’re really forced to use the power ups in order to clear levels. Since power ups are scarce, prepare to spend money if you really want to progress as a regular rate. Why? Because around that rank a) most levels filled with many obstacles you have to clear which takes up the blocks to create combos b) if you can’t clear those obstacles early on you’ll waste most of your moves and fail the level c) without power ups, you’re reliant on luck, not strategy, hoping the game drops connecting blocks to make a big power up to clear the obstacles d) you need big power up combos (combining power ups) to take out the difficult obstacles which is hard to do and also dependent on luck more than skill I went from playing the game for hours to about 5-10 minute at a time. Major Letdown and Probably Rigged TooThe game itself isn’t rigged. It’s a match 3 game, not really a way to rig the game itself. What is rigged are the contests between players. How is it fair that players on easy levels can compete against players on hard levels? They give bonuses for beating levels consecutively aswell, so of course the players on the lower/easy levels are gonna win more. However, my biggest problem is the inconsistency in the mechanics. There are obstacles you have to make matches next to in order to break them and while some require multiple matches, you can see those ones break apart piece by piece with each match. Well sometimes I’ll make a match right next to an obstacle and nothing happens at all. Only for me to make another match in the exact same spot and it actually does something, which doesn’t make sense! Wouldn’t be a major problem to me, but like most match 3 games, you have a limited amount of moves per level and it’s frustrating to have a move wasted just because the game bugged/glitched and didn’t do what it’s supposed to do. And like I said, you get bonuses for beating levels consecutively, so imagine how infuriating it is to lose a level AND the bonuses because of that!
