Not badFirst wild tamer was great, this one is fun as well but quite frustrating. Gold is grind, failed quests have 30 minute cooldowns between attempts, moving around the map is too expensive / slow. If you accidentally spend to much on upgrades or tames it takes forever to walk places. But the most frustrating aspect is that your tames AI is horrible, they constantly spread out engaging in multiple fights slaughtering your whole team, they're always very far behind you causing you to die and restart at spawn with no tames, and in boss fights they get trapped behind trees so only 4/15 tames can actually hit the boss regardless of how you move to rearrange them. Overall fun game until first boss, then it just becomes an idler - standing around game to grind gold for upgrades / travel..Xalin98Version: 1.0.5

Good, a work in progressI have played the original wild tamer and saw this so I decided to give it a try. I like this one a lot, and they changed quite a bit from the first one. First, I like the general feel of this game. There is a lot more movement to the character and animals, feels a lot more lively. Almost reminds me or Don’t Starve a bit for the environment. Lots more things in the world like bushes, trees, and statues. Second they changed up how you get “unique animals, which is actually nice. They also made it so you don’t have to spend gems to unlock more animal slots, just complete animal related missions which is nice. Though this game is still a work in progress. There have been times I can’t upgrade or unlock something and get an error message. There have been times I’ll play for a while then I close the app then come back to lost progress. It will need to work on a lot but I really like this game a lot more than the original. I hope to watch this grow and can’t wait to see what else they do..SteamThiefVersion: 1.0.1

DifficultyTo start off I love the game and just the general idea of the game, only problem is the difficulty for me. I find for the first island that the pathing can be difficult it’s near impossible to run with 20 creatures to fight the final boss when all you do is run into things I don’t get it. Amazing sequelI loved the first wildtamer game and this game is a great sequel to the first. Same game play but revamped with better quality of life features also just as addicting. Such as now you don’t need to spend diamonds to increase maximum pet amount, but instead complete quest. The things I would like to see improved is the resolution of the art. On my phone the art is a very slightly pixelated and the edges aren’t smooth. Also I would love to see more animals to tame and armor/weapons. Decent Game but it keeps crashingThe game is faithful to the old one, pretty fun time waster. However, I have am issue with the game’s system. This game seems perfect for offline play, and it should have no reason to need internet to run by itself, however whenever the internet cuts out and there is no signal, it just crashes the game. Additionally, sometimes it just crashes for no reason. I feel like this game is trying to prevent cheating from turning off your internet, but they did it in the worst way possible, and the least user friendly. Great gameI think this game is significantly better than the original. The only real complaint I have is when you close the app for a minute it puts you back at camp which is really annoying. Another thing would be the ridiculous spawn rates. I don’t hate this but it’s really annoying trying to take on on small group and then 3 other large groups come in and you lose all your progress. Awesome gameI enjoy the game a ton, It’s a big upgrade to the old one. I also like how you can delete animals that you don’t like so you can get better ones. Also i love the animations, especially the deer one where it’s eyes pop out. I also like the update of missions it amazing because I don’t get board of the game anymore like I use too. Magical gameplayUnfortunately there’s no multiple players or like a server you can connect to, I am not sure if it is just because I haven’t checked it yet or not, so don’t quote me on on that. Issues with crashingI have asked within 30 minutes of playing the game for the first time refunds and because the game keeps crashing when trying to go out of the cave from the home base along with that you don’t have a lot of support animals like you do from the previous game which I think was really nice to help you move along in the game further and this one you don’t get the support like you do the first game so all together I give this a two star as compared to the other one they didn’t add to the other one they tried to reform it, and the movement is not as good as it was before with the mount, it actually is slower so it’s a waste of money to get it..Scammers AppVersion: 1.3.0

Seems like a cool game but doesn’t workI found this game while looking for a fun game to play to pass the time. I looked at it and watched the trailer and I played the first one a while back so I knew that it would be fun. But as soon as I get into the game and try to leave the spawn I the app just closes and I can’t get in for a solid 30 seconds, and when I retry the same thing happens over and over without any changes. At first I thought it was my internet but I checked and it’s all good so I don’t know if it’s a problem with my phone or with the game. The concept and art is good but…Idk if this has to do with my iPhone, but despite good art and game concept, the app is very unstable. Frequent error force closes the app in the middle of the gameplay.
